So... basically I had a Cyberpunk dream where the Bright Queen was accusing me of being a traitor and she looked like this, for reasons.

I had to draw her: The Neon Queen! (???)

Recently, I dreamt up this absolutely batshit crazy crossover between Doctor Who and Critical Role, I wish I had the time and energy to work into a proper story. Since I sadly have neither, I decided to at least write down a rough outline of what happened in that dream and start giving it some shape and context:

• in this AU, instead of Amelia Pond’s garden, a newly regenerated 11th Doctor crashes on the distant planet of Exandria, a world from the early dark times of the universe, where he meets a young Jester Lavorre who thinks he’s somehow related to the Traveler

• he has to rush away and promises he’ll be back, but the combination of a damaged Tardis and a destination planet wrapped in a strong “magical” field means that when he tries to come back for her, he instead lands 12 years later and not in Nicodranas but instead near a little town called Trostenwald

• still, fate seems to be involved in some way since he immediately runs into a grownup Jester who is currently travelling and fighting monsters alongside her newfound friends Fjord and Beau; they follow him into the Tardis and become his companions but after a few trips, he can feel the timelines bending and splintering around them, so he tries taking them back to where they came from

• now that he’s not actually aiming for it, they land in Nicodranas again, but a couple months after the day they left with him; there, they meet a small ragtag group of adventurers consisting of Molly, Yasha, Caleb & Nott who have claim to have met them before; every time they ran into one or more of them on the road, they would help them against some monsters or bandits, sometimes talk a bit but all in all behave very mysteriously before running off again; last time they appeared, just a few days ago, they just shoved a mysterious dodecahedron at them and told them to meet them in Nicodranas before disappearing again

• the Doctor desperately tries to fix the timelines and get the Mighty Nein back together while also dealing with a jealous Artagan (who Jester is trying to set him up with - neither of them are super enthusiastic about that) and also all of them discover a crack in time and space that has created an underwater portal to earth and the plot of Vampires of Venice happens simultaneously to the whole Sluice Weave/ freeing-the-enslaved-Marid business; at some point Beau, Yasha and Fjord get lost on the Venice side of the portal for a short time (-> it’s very awkward and also Uk‘otoa is now considering expanding his domain to other worlds once he gets freed…)

• everything kinda devolves into chaos from there; they take care of both situations and seal the portal but Jester and Beau want to continue travelling in the Tardis and Fjord doesn’t want to stay behind without them, so they keep jumping through time and space, occasionally running into the rest of the Mighty Nein again at various points in their timeline and making sure the important steps in their journey still happen in some way while also discovering other worlds and finding more mysterious cracks in time…

• now that’s where the dream ended, but if I ever were to turn this into a story, there would be so much potential for cute little minisodes and character moments: the Doctor and Artagan bickering but having to work together to help Jester while stranded somewhere; Caleb becoming obsessed once he discovers the Tardis and nagging the Doctor with questions upon questions while searching for a way to hijack it while the Doctor plays along but subtly foils him at every turn; Nott, at some point, coming along for a short trip to some space station and getting her hands on some futuristic weapon and everyone has to team up to get it off her again so she doesn’t accidentally alter the entire course of Exandrian history; Beau and Yasha meeting and falling in love out of order; Fjord, on a solo trip with the Doctor, going to the cursed Moon and immediately noping right out again (the others must never know…); . . .

I dunno if anyone‘s gonna be interested in this, but if someone is, please feel free to steal this idea!

SO LEMME GET THIS STRAIGHT:

The Luxon came to Exandria early on and ATE TWO GODS, so everything in the world that was currently fighting went "Aight, truce, let's lock them on the moon" and MADE A MOON OUT OF A CONTINENT TO TRAP THEM so now they're using Ruidusborn/Exaltants to get out.

Imogen's mom is (presumably) working with the Cerberus Assembly, and thus is now DIRECTLY IN BEAU AND CALEB'S CROSSHAIRS.

The Assembly and the Unseelie Court have joined together to construct giant devices in 3 different planes to do Something™ to Ruidus in hopes of either setting the Luxon free or controlling it. ONE OF THESE PLACES IS THE RUINS OF FUCKING AVALIR FROM "EXU: CALAMITY", the other is in the Feywild and the third is in the Shadowfell, WHERE VOX MACHINA KILLED DELILAH LAST TIME?!?!

DELILAH WHO WAS ALSO PART OF THE CERBERUS ASSEMBLY BEFORE SHE WAS KICKED OUT?!?!

Fearne's Grandma can help, but she's essentially a GIANT BABA YAGA who will 1000% ask for something horrible in return...

Both Ira Wendagoth and Liliana Temult could be an in for the Hells in the Material Plane, but good luck with that...

And finally, Planerider Ryn implies she's gonna call The Mighty Nein to help with this and tells BH to call in any favors (VOX MACHINA) they can possibly pull for the final assault!

Taliesin REALLY picked THE WORST POSSIBLE EPISODE to miss, huh?

Side Note: Anyone else think the black thing that Thull uses to prevent resurection is sending souls to the Shadowfell to work on / guard the machine there and IF SO is Orym gonna have to fight Will and Derrig?!

Side Note 2: FUCK I gotta finish Campaign 2. Haven't even met Essek yet and that Nott's kid spoiler was something I could have done without...

Edit: I have, since posting this, learned that the Luxon came before the Gods and the Primordials, and thus can't be the same entity as Predathos... Apologies for the confusion!

Random Critical Role x Genshin Impact ideas bouncing around my head. Are these balanced? Unique? I have no idea, but I'm writing all these down at 1 am based on my more extensive knowledge of Critical Role, and my limited experience with Genshin Impact. I might not be able to properly flesh out each character fully, but this is definitely a place to start.

Caleb Widogast: pyro catalyst user. -His primary attack is fire bolts, charged is a slower moving larger fireball -His elemental skill is a giant flaming cats paw which shoves away from him. Not a lot of damage, but does burn. -His elemental burst is Widogast's Web of Fire; with lines of fire chaining between (5?) nearby targets, burning them deeply -Both of his idle animations involve Frumpkin.

Veth Brenatto: electro bow user. Unfortunately crossbows aren't in the game so this is the closest. -Charged attack is a lightning bolt, with the hidden boost of dealing more damage to targets not engaged with you in combat. -Elemental skill is a burst of 3 electrically charged shots. -Elemental burst is just going invisible, shocking anyone who's close to her.

Fjord Stone: hydro sword user. probably a heavier hitting sword user. -Charged attack probably ends with him misty stepping the opposite side of who he's targeting. Also his sword definitely glows with the power of a smite. -Elemental Skill is basically his eldritch blast. Like, hydro-seawater themed. -No idea for his Elemental Burst quite yet.

Jester Lavorre: dendro catalyst user. really pushes the boundary of what dendro means. -Default attack are little spectral animals tackling their targets. Rainbow colored, obviously. Charged is a sacred flame. -Elemental Skill is very obvious. Summons the spectral Lollypop in a location for a short time, attacking nearby enemies. Slowly follows her. -Elemental burst is spiritual guardians, dealing damage in a radius around her for a time. Same rainbow spectral animals as her default attack.

Caduceus Clay: dendro catalyst user Completely different vibes to Jester despite being the same base class/element as her. A bit harder to figure out his attacks though because unlike Jester, he actually heals his party members. -Default attacks are greenish blasts of sacred flame. -Elemental burst creates a small healing well?? Like a circle of green plants and vibrant flowers that grants some minor healing, or at least damage reduction. Does mark you with drendo, perhaps. -Damn it's hard to think of stuff for Caduceus even though he's one of my favorites. -Idle animation sipping from a teacup.

Yasha Nydroon: electro claymore user electric obviously cause Stormlord and whatnot. -Elemental skill is rage. Shocks things near her, and gives all attacks electric damage, as well as a small damage boost, but has a longer recharge. -Elemental Burst definitely brings her wings out, and gives her weapon and attacks a boost. Big strong damage.

Beauregard Lionette: electro polearm user. Based solely around the fact that she uses a bo-staff and there's no closer martial-arts class. Fast but light attacker, and definitely attacks with both end of the pole. -Charged attacks have a higher chance of staggering/stunning enemies. pop pop. -Elemental skill is her electric gloves! More range then her normal attacks. -Elemental burst is cool monk shit.

When This World Is No More (The Moon is All We'll See) by Silverskye13 Fic about the Hermits dealing with the end of the world by moon falling. Mainly from Cleo and Joe’s perspective but all the Hermits show up. 

Built Family by Oceanera12 An AMAZING found family fic about how each Hermit found Hermitcraft. A lot of the characters are magical/mythical/hybrids. 

EXPERIMENT 76844537: SUBJECT 47426 by HaloRocks1214 Fluffy fic where Zedaph asks Grian to hug all the Hermits as an experiment. 

Anything To Hear You (Say It One More Time) by mgrnn Etho angst! He gets heavily injured and calls Bdubs to hear his voice one more time. Bdubs won’t let that happen though.

Home at Last by Wimberly_snoot A good Dream SMP and Hermitcraft crossover. Tommy finds himself in Hermitcraft. 

Healing Is a Four Letter Word and it’s sequel The Aftershocks of Divinity by Hypno_Cat Watcher Grian escapes and crashes into Hermitcraft. Stories follow him healing. Read tags for relationships since I don’t want to spoiler.

Bubbles bursting by Higgystar Autistic Bdubs! A very good story. 

don’t let me see what i am, cause i can’t stand it by mayflowers07( @mayflowers07 )  Non binary Iskall dealing with transphobia. Yeah I just love this fic. 

The i can be the one you call series by mayflowers07( @mayflowers07 ) Series where the Hermits have a code phrase which is spoken when something goes truly wrong. A lot of good angst and hurt/comfort.

bird song by Penmonition and Phantom_Pen (The_Winged_Warrior)  Hands down my favorite Grian backstory fic. A deep dive into his time with the Watchers.

The Stone Steals My Voice by Aimandfire ( @aimandfire21 ) One of my favorite Eret angst fics. Eret gets kidnapped by Dream and is forced to stay in the cell made for Skeppy. 

eret whump by DeadlyHuggles Literally what it says in the title lol. Eret gets punished by Dream. 

Mellow High by an orphaned account  Soulmate AU, Ranboo centric. Sadly seems to be abandoned but still very enjoyable. 

Wrecking Ball by Anonymous Eret angst. Read the tags for content warning because it gets pretty heavy. 

Eret angst for all of you angst-lovers out there(I know you are one don't deny it) by NightmareoftheCabin First of all the title is an attack on me lmao. But yeah Eret in the prison being rescued by Techno.
