!MASSIVE FOOLIVERSE RAMBLE! Read at your own peril!

You have successfully made me care more about the Fooliverse than ANY canon storyline you've currently got going on rn (Except for Hush and Vega, I'm still very invested in that). Forget the Balance, forget Sovereign State, forget the currently kinda stagnant DAMN storyline, I need more Fooliverse Lore! (Note: mildly hyperbolic, I do want Erik to push major storylines, but with the new schedule they're gonna take ages)

Like each character we've gotten so far have been so fun, but with them comes so many questions about the universe around them. For example (this is your final chance to escape, its a long one):

What's the rest of the DAMN crew like? Are they all complete opposites of their canon counterparts, and if not what stays the same. Gavin although quiet and submissive, still very much enjoys sex and partaking in it when he wants like in canon. So what about the others? Is Huxley less friendly in this AU, is he rude or just an actual loner that gave up on making real friends? Is he smarter or still a bit goofy? What about Lasko and Damien, what are their differences? Is Damien a member of staff or is Lasko a really extroverted student? Where's Kody in all this? Is he still a mild extremist or is he actually a cool dude? Maybe he's a jock unlike Huxley??? Like I'M SO INVESTED!

What's going on with the rest of the Rebaine Clan? Where was Marie when Milo's dad drunk himself to death and Milo got lost in the system? Was she an absent mother or was she just not related to Milo at all? Is she in the Rebaine Clan or is she the Queen of a Clan of her own? Where. Are. The Solaires?!?! I have to know if Vincent is still a human who survived The Surge and is just living life, or never got on in the first place. Did he ever meet Lovely, did he die on The Surge and not get saved? Was he born a Vamp, turned by William still, or someone else? Is William a minor Duke or something or still a King but not as important? What about being one of those High Council Vamps Milo mentioned? Is he even around? We know Porter is, like did Demetri save him, get Porter indebted to him, or was Porter born a Vamp and just joined the Clan??? And how close is the Clans relationship with the Talbot Pack. Like yeah their friends of the Clan, but to the same level as in canon, or more? Or less? We know Asher is more serious in this AU being the Alpha, so what's his relationship with Milo??? Are they close friends, or reluctant allies on a personal level? IS MILO STILL SHORT?!?! These are the questions we need answered

James we know is a stoner and that he doesn't see himself as a good person. Is he still part of ETS, doing stuff that doesn't sit well with him to the point he smokes to get away? Does he even have a job currently? Why does he feel like he's not a good/kind person? What did he do? Maybe it's just his personality this AU... But if James isn't part of ETS and Anton is in the Pack, who's running Project Meridian? Is the project even needed, cause if the Miridian is OK in this AU, maybe the company that would do it is just sticking to normal science projects (whatever that means). Where's Marcus in all this, is he still a weirdo, but in a different font? Maybe he's just a dude too, living life, or maybe Asset is just a person and they actual love Marcus and they live together with no issues... GOD this is so unfair that I don't know 😫

And more on Anton, we know he is a member of the Talbot Pack. It's cute he's so fun and carefree, not wondering when he'll see his Love again. He's flourishing in the Talbot Pack! I'm guessing he's just an ordinary member, but is he part of security (if the Pack still does that) or does he do his own thing. Maybe he's a stay-at-home partner, I wonder if he's still responsible somewhat to maintain the house easily or if he's completely a menace on that front.

What. Happened. To. Guy??? Cause why's my Guy so depressed? Is he still sharing an apartment with Mikayla, but Honey isn't there, so its sapping him of all his happiness? Did he confess but Honey was like "nah" and he's completely defeated in life. Maybe Guy tried to do more with his writing degree but it's not working out and him delivering pizza on the size is really knocking his motivation? What if he's just like that and things are a-ok overall. Maybe he barely reacted to Anton' wolf for cause he knows about magic (accidently or not) and is completely disillusioned about life cause "why are things still shit if magic exists" so he just doesn't care??? You can't leave me hanging like this Erik!!!

More on the Pack, DAVID IS OPENLY CALLED DAVEY! First, that's so fucking cute as hell, but I gotta know is it an inside joke, did Angel push for this, or maybe is naturally evolved and David doesn't mind anyone calling him that. Curious to see which one it is. We at least know based on his personality he's not highly likely to hate on it. Secondly, HIS DAD'S ALIVE (and seems to call his son for tech help lol). That's so sweet! ☺️ Shows how different he would be with his dad still around. And finally, damn he's such a sweetheart, and Angel is still a menace but a grumpy one instead. Its hot how he wants them to take the lead, begs for it even.

Overall love how cute he is in this, makes me question what his dynamic would be interacting with Milo in this universe. In fact, I wanna see more of his and Asher's best friend relationship in this AU. With their personalities, I feel like it would be really chill. Anyway, who is the Beta? It's not Davey and it doesn't seem to be Anton, so who is it? Maybe, it actually is Darlin like some people have been theorising. (Oh god Where's Sam in all this???) Or maybe Christian, which also makes me guess what the dynamic between him and Asher is like. Maybe it's not so different to his canon interactions with Alpha David.

And a side note, Alpha Asher just can't catch a break, it's like being the Alpha of this Pack curses you to be gruff and broody no matter what universe it happens in. At least no one close to him has actually died or something like in The Imperium. Unless if one or both of his parents died for him to become a grumpy Alpha!!! Who knows, its up for headcannon to decide. Mildly bummed out that we don't get a full vid or even an Asher cameo in this AU. A few references on his seemingly responsible lifestyle and kinda gruff character by other people is not enough. GIVE ME MORE OF THE FOOLIVERSE PUPPY!!! (Respectfully)

If you got to the end I sincerely apologise, you shouldn't have done that, but know you know the thoughts that have plagued my brain about this AU. Whilst there were some lighthearted demands in there just know they were all made in good faith and is just an indicator of how much I've enjoyed this AU. Its honestly been so fun and I hope it gets a comeback in some way.

Now it's time to bet on who the BAs gonna be about next month!

             ☆    you already knew this one, but they are SIBLINGS through and through. i really do think they always have been!! they have always irritated each other, but even then, they’ve always looked after one another. i’d like to think that when seki used to get into trouble in high school, leo would be looking out for her on the lowkey. whether that’s calling milo, carrying a drunk kiko home, or getting someone off of her back. i doubt he ever owns up to it tho lol.

            ☆    she really respects leo, his strength, especially. he’s someone she looks up to GREATLY, even if she wouldn’t ever tell him. while she doesn’t remember her older brother very well in her adult age, the image of yoshida has slowly turned more into leo. a projection that, while not healthy, makes sekiko much more willing to work things out with him. even if he wasn’t actually her brother in law, he would still be her brother. 

           ☆    i’d like to think that seki and leo used to spar! i imagine leo agreed for his own amusement, but she took it DEAD seriously. she has yet to win in a fight against him, so every instance she gets to see him in combat, she’s studying him. even if he never directly taught her any moves, she’s good at picking up and copying things like that. rotating the idea of seki using his own moves against him in my mind rn.

           ☆    seki and leo are haters to their core.    they are both snide and petty and i’d like to think that they get negative views of people they haven’t even met due to their gossiping. seki never cared to meet cameron in high school, but she has a very construed mental image of him due to the vile shit that leaves leo’s mouth about him LOL. the first time she spoke to him, she was already on guard.

    SEKI AND MILO  -- 

          ☆    milo is her god. in every instance of the word, really. she talks to anyone and everyone about who he is and how important he is to her, it often pops up in threads with my other moots lol. she doesn’t have a very healthy view of how love and romance is supposed to work, but she’s calmed down with her treatment of him over the years with the efforts of intensive therapy, and her own mental maturity. meeting milo made her rethink almost every aspect of her life, and left her constantly wanting to be better for him. he is divine in her eyes.

         ☆    she memorizes his work schedule. while he’s usually almost always working, sekiko makes SURE to be home when he’s home. she’s not much of a cook, but she tried a few times to have a dinner ready at two in the morning. typically, though, she just has take-out prepared on the table for him. she’s the type of wife that takes his coat at the door n shit <3 every moment he’s free at home, she’s at his side.

        ☆    she hides his pagers and phone.   those two objects are the bane of her existence -- the thing that takes milo from her each day. she has to often hold herself back from breaking them, irreparably. i know we’ve joked about her chucking them out windows and shit, but it’s VERY real. i imagine it was worse when she was younger and more clingy to him, but nowadays, she’ll just put his phone on do not disturb. it’s not like they need him there, or anything, haha..... this is also the case for our resident evil verse  :  except she just full on snaps phones. or hides car keys. anything to keep him home. i give her more of an excuse in that verse tho cus shes jsut so fucked up

        ☆    she eventually says yes to marriage. also something we talked about, but i wanted to go into more detail! marriage is something that has always scared sekiko, but after meeting milo, her opinion of it changed greatly. she doesn’t mind marriage, she just views it as unneeded. why would she need a piece of paper to prove that she loves him? while she loves to brag, don’t get her wrong, weddings just seem like a very expensive brag. they aren’t low on money, or anything, it just seems like a hassle. though, when they first got engaged, she DEFINITELY became obsessive over the idea of a wedding. perfect dress, specific flowers, seating, everything.

My favorites are but the eternal pose points East (Lech L’cha)” and “a certain calmness” and - okay if I list anymore I’ll just list the entire series oops. Highly recommend!

In Which Higuma Doesn't Get To Get Drunk, Even Though He Really, Really Wants To - also by grainjew, Luffy goes back in time and everyone bullies higuma, delightful one shot, 2.5k.

The King's Will - my last rec (for now) by grainjew, a one shot focusing on Rayleigh and Luffy training on Ruskaina, and the application of conquerors haki, 2.3k, very, very good.

How it Should have Healed - by Wordlet, 36k, a hurt comfort series about Luffy’s numerous injuries over the years, and his crew taking care of him. Extremely sweet, hurts my heart, luffy please learn to take care of yourself, 100/10 reread all the time.

Coming Into Focus by DemonsLOver, 4k, focusing on Luffy’s trauma after Marineford, EXTREMELY good, I reread this one a lot as well.

Being there - by chali, 45k, another Luffy post Marineford fic that I love, focuses on his trauma and wounds left over in varying aspects and with each individual crewmate.

Chasing Flowers by taizi - 4.7k, the Strawhats leave out gifts for luffy and he just has to follow, outsider pov, one of my absolute favorites of taizi’s fics!! Actually just gonna say rn go read all of taizi’s one piece fics, everything is so very good.

Already Forever by taizi - 1.8k, another of taizi’s fics that devastate me, nami realizing that the way luffy works will never be understood by any one else, really, really, really sweet.

Sea Shanties by Milo - 13k, luffy focused series of one shots, and the first one devastates me. zoro/luffy but it’s not romantic just platonic and this made me cry 100%, its just. So soft. Chapter 2 is with brook annd chapter 3 is with shanks and oh,,,, oh its so good. One of my absolute favorites of all time.

Twin Flames by SoccerSarah01 - 66k, a Marineford fix-it in which Sabo remembers, he and Ace call themselves not just brothers but twins, and everything changes. This is by Sarah whom I love and I 100% cannot rec this fic enough its so, so, so good. asl brother focused and the way the brothers are written im just the watery eyes emoji.

I'll be by your side (forever, always) by SoccerSarah01 - 1.5k this also by Sarah is another fix-it in which Luffy takes the blow for ace, and there aftermath and it hurts but ohh,,, its so sweet

Wind Beneath My Wings by SoccerSarah01 - 11.8k, last rec for me rn by Sarah, essentially the asl brothers celebrate Makino’s birthday and everything is good and wonderful and soft <3

Rising suns, free waters by Amazaria - 5k, vivi and shanks talk at mariejeoise fic how can you not fall for that like. Oh god the concept is so good, and amazaria executed it perfectly!!! 100% recommend, stays very true to the characters, and their like for one straw hat luffy.

Serendipity and other ordinary miracles by Amazaria - 2k, also by Amazaria, Straw Hat loyalty and discussion of dreams thats just so, so, so good. it hurts my heart, but luffy loves his crew and they love him so everything is okay.

All that we've yet to lose (burning, burning bright before us) by Amazaria - 1.9k, usopp and Gear 2’s effects on Luffy, dear god this makes me cry, like. Holy shit. Also some very good nami + zoro bonding in the background like!!! cries.

Who Knows (what could happen) by Chromi - 87k, the only unfinished fic on here but im putting it because HOLY SHIT! Essentially the journey of Ace and the Spades from Sixis to the Moby Dick, Ace/Deuce incredibly good writing I cannot stress that enough and also pining. So much pining. Deuce you are so gay. This fic is very lovingly and well written, does err on the more mature side than the rest of the fics I have listed here (just look at the tags) but not explicit by any means. Chromi also has like. Tons more ace/deuce fic, and I highly recommended checking out her Take My Breath Away [Tumblr SFW Prompt Fills] series!

Synthesis by KBstories - 4k, in which even Luffy has a breaking point and that breaking point Is sabo, but his friends won’t let that happen. I reread this fic so much and it’s so fucking good like all of KBstories like,,, cries??

this is absolutely the only banter prompt that i actually did like...real banter for. anyway. i did max/daniel because you didn't give me a pairing and i was like idk what to write for this and then milo @freepractice said oh have them mad at each other in traffic but then it turned out sweet because i'm obsessed with my gf and that's where all my feelings are at rn and also i wanted to write something a little nice because i am in the end-of-the-semester funk. in conclusion, sorry that you literally asked this over a month ago. enjoy this little snippet.

They’re on their way to some pizza place a friend of Pierre’s recommended to Daniel drunk at a party and Daniel had put it into his phone - the list that he put all the restaurants he actually wants to go to on - and so even though he didn’t remember the conversation or anything more than the neighborhood that the place was in, he’s enlisted Max to drive.

“Take the exit before the tunnel,” Daniel says to Max. “I’m pretty sure that’s the one.”

“Last time,” Max says, and despite how much he enjoys spending time with Daniel in the abstract, Daniel is absolutely infuriating in the present, especially on their second loop around these godawful French highways outside of Monaco, “You told me that you were - and I quote - ‘one-hundred-percent certain’ that it was through the tunnel.” He’s not angry, really. The teasing is comfortable, and if he thought harder about it, it might scare him.

“Hey!” Daniel says, putting his hands up as if he’s done nothing wrong. “All I have written down here is the name of the restaurant and the neighborhood. And you KNOW my Google maps isn’t working.”

“Don’t you have an iPhone,” Max says, putting his blinker on in order to take the left lane exit. It’s a rhetorical question - Max knows his face ID is programmed in. “Use Apple maps instead.” Someone swerves in front of him and he resists the urge to flip the bird. He’s never liked road driving as much as the racetrack. There’s traffic and his car purrs but she doesn’t roar. Daniel said he didn’t want to drive and then made a smoking motion so now he’s too high to navigate and Max doesn’t know where the fuck they’re going.

He makes a right off the exit and they start to turn up a hill, the road stretching out in front of them. Max feels the car shift automatically and climb up the hill.

“I think you went the wrong way,” Daniel says, looking down at his phone which he’s now holding upside-down.

“Shut up,” Max says. He’s not as irritated as Daniel probably thinks he is. He is a little frustrated, and hungry, but mostly there’s something warm curling in his gut.

“Aww, you’re too good to me, Maxy,” Daniel says, teasing. Max can feel the flush make its way, hot, up the back of his neck.

“If you say one more thing that’s not fucking directions,” Max says, “I will drive into that valley.”

Daniel laughs, and it warms something inside of Max, despite his annoyance. “You’ll wreck your car!” Daniel says, “Even worse - you’ll wreck my hair.”

“Don’t tempt me,” Max grumbles, under his breath, but Daniel probably hears him anyway.

“I don’t have to,” Daniel says, and there’s a grin in his voice. “Because the restaurant is right there!” Sure enough, the restaurant sign pokes out from a side alley, an arrow pointing towards parking.

“Fuck you,” Max says, slamming on the breaks as he misses the parking lot and then pulls an illegal U-turn. Daniel makes a soft oof sound and Max suppresses a smile. “You made me drive to France. This shit better be good.”

Daniel looks at him, his face open and earnest. “It will be, Maxy,” Daniel says, “Because I’m here with you. "

Max shakes his head and pulls into the parking lot. Daniel is always sappy when he's high. Daniel laughs earnestly anyway, tucks his elbow into Max's as they step inside. Max wouldn't say it but he thinks - it'll be good too.

they would literally all just go out for burgers probably lmao

they would probably go out to some club to celebrate afterwards! milo is def dancing all kinds of weird from how wasted he is, but he’s having the time of his life. sophie is living for it, of course, and is even getting pretty rowdy herself, which we love to see. i feel like liam would be the one to keep buying drinks and making everybody take shots with him, especially milo lmao. grace would probably be sitting at the bar with her drink and smoking a joint before liam pulls her to the dance floor and forces her to dance with him

they would probably get the cheapest rings they could for the moment, but milo would def surprise with a diamond ring after he saves up enough money.

i feel like since they got married in vegas they would just honeymoon there too!!

ok so!! i totally see liam wanting to make this one of the most special days ever for grace cause that’s just the kinda guy he is. and so maybe one of her favorite movie theaters is going out of business or something. so, before they demolish it, he rents the entire thing out and decorates it with twinkle lights and makes it all beautiful to have their ceremony there.

hey tumblr #bad tag. it’s been a while. i think i’m trying to feel to cope rn. i cant sleep. i’m thinking about all my past love endeavors. and honestly dude,,, i’m really depressed. like,, i think genuinely. depression got me by the balls. kinda wanna kill myself again, but it’s more of a passive feeling rn more than a violent feeling. idk man. i just wish i could feel,,, good. i want an intense feeling of happiness again. like, god i don’t even know how i remember this, but back at milo’s christmas party all those years ago. my biggest concern was just... looking cute for them and not getting caught with my gay feelings. but they were so cute and sweet that it was probably so grossly obvious how gay i was. they put their hand on my shoulder n looked me in the eye and said something along the lines of “sammi, if i wasn’t the man i was, i’d kiss you”. like damn bro,, little 13 year old me went ballistic!! and the time we sat in the box and ding dong ditched my house?? that was so dumb. and all the good times i had with rosa too, before she passed. she also gave me extreme butterflies,,, it’s funny looking back now at how she claimed up and down that she was straight, but she really did enjoy making me blush. the stupid shrek stickers she burnt. i wonder what happened to the map of hers she let me draw on. all the time id spend at cara’s house instead of my own. we were never an item either, but we had a lot of great memories,,, kat. or kei, i should say. i think i wanted to date them for a while, and they opened up a lot of doors for me concerning my interests and going to cons and introducing me to cosplay. i hope they’re well. i don’t think i ever properly apologized to them. me and rio experienced fresh snow in murrieta together. me and finn had a quick fling. bee was someone in my life for a hot second... i wonder how she feels about our relationship looking back at things. oh dude that one time me and charlie dated and our first date was at in n out and they were super late and i was like UHHH. i also miss eliott. a lot. a lot a lot. we had so many good times together and we rarely saw each other. god, the time i had the house to myself for the weekend and they snuck over and we ordered pizza and i had hickies all over me., our last weekend together before she went to AZ and we went to the duck pond,,, i brought her flowers and i cried as we had our last few kisses. all the apollo v eliott drama. god. apollo. the most complicated relationship i’ve ever had with another person. it all feels silly now... considering all that’s happened ever since i dated carter. after not talking to him for half a year, he magically pops back into my life,,, after one of the hardest weekends of my life. going to that wedding after i dumped vince and my cult fell apart and,, lost my friendship with ness. that one still stings. but it’s crazy how literally that same night, i told apollo i had extra donuts and i’d be down to share them and talk irl.. i ended up spending the night, and that night was the only time i ever cried during uh. you know. i clung to him so tight that night... i wish i could with soap rn. i wish i had more memories with apollo other than sitting in his room all the time. we were at each other’s graduations. i picked him up after he got drunk at a party, *and* drove to ucr to pick him up bc he wasn’t feeling well,, i remember him quizzing me on the members of bts. our first interaction. playing dnd with him, and bringing to my TA class. ofc our roleplays and the worlds we’d build. but it’s hard not to remember all the fights. all the times he’d distance himself from me in public. all the insults,, i don’t think i have a definite feeling on where our relationship is right now. i think if carter wasn’t involved, it’d be easier... cause i genuinely don’t think i ever wanna talk to them again. maybe in 15 years when we’re older, but like- that’s still such an ouch topic. i think that was the first time i ever got properly broken up with. and the craziest part is that he still let me kiss him after. and held me.
