The time I woke up in the void, before I even knew what the void was

As mentioned in this post, here is the story about how I woke up in the void before I knew what it was.

I came across @ellequarius success story on entering the void while falling asleep in class and I got major chills and a flashback to when something similar happened to me in HS. I didn’t even know about manifesting or the void at the time but now I realize I woke up in the void 🤯 It was such a strange and memorable experience, I still remember it vividly (I’m an adult, I graduated HS long ago lol).

It was my senior year, I was in science class and we had a substitute who gave us a free study period and dimmed the lights to put on a movie. I was exhausted so I just crossed my arms on my desk, put my head down and fell asleep.

Idk how long I was out, but before waking up I found myself in a weird kinda state. I thought I was dreaming, although nothing was happening. Everything was dark but it wasn’t like being in a dark room - it felt like looking at a TV or computer screen that was turned on but not showing a picture, there was some static and a sense of depth. A bit like outer space.

I had been thinking about my friend in Japan who I hadn’t talked to in a few weeks. I guess because she was on my mind, I imagined seeing a notification pop up on the “screen”, saying I had a new email from her. Then I woke up and went to my next class.

When I got to a computer, I found that I had indeed received an email from my friend, around the exact time I had “dreamed” it. I always thought it was a psychic dream, or just a freaky coincidence. But now I’m sure I manifested it in the void.

I was totally mindblown as since I found out about the void last year, I’ve been endlessly researching, wondering if it’s really real and trying different methods wanting to experience it for the first time - when I had already experienced it so long ago? 😭 It’s like I found an Easter egg in my brain!

I’m theorizing that sleeping position can have an effect on the ease in which you enter the void. Since it’s happened to several people while sleeping in class, taking naps, and there is also the popular recliner method, it seems that unusual sleeping positions put you in a lighter sleep, which can help access alternate states easier.

I’ve also realized since I figured this out a couple weeks ago, pretty much every time I have a natural awakening in the early morning, I do wake up in the void. It even happened this morning (2/27 as I type this) early in the morning after several hours of sleep, and I was lying on my back which is not my most comfortable sleeping position.

It’s the same kind of experience, and I don’t hear anything, but my first natural instinct when I wake up is to wonder where the sounds of my environment are. So I end up tuning in to my room to try to hear things, and snapping out of the void.

Only a matter of time before I figure out how to remain there aware long enough to affirm for my desires 😭

Chapter 4 is just a full-fledged brain explosion. I had to pause while reading because I was getting an emotional boost from every page. It was so eventful that it left me speechless, because I don't have enough words to describe all my emotions from reading *boom*🤯 I managed to go through the routes of Narmer and Qenna, and I want to say that the interactions with them were interesting, revealing the nature of these characters (I'm so interested in learning more about them. especially Qenna argh, even if I pull the truth out of him bit by bit with tongs), but most of all I adore small changes in the text that depend on the chosen ROs. I'm really obsessed with them and I look for them like little jewels so that I can keep them in my heart (and on my phone), these are my favorites in Qenna's route:

Besides this, I want to tell Qenna not to worry and that even such a circumstance will not change MC's opinion of him. even if the word DANGER is written on Qenna's forehead, then noble MC will pretend that she suddenly forgot Egyptian and cannot read💅

20. First time they felt accepted/welcomed by another character

I'm gonna cheat a bit because growing Theo felt accepted by her father and uncle, but they also raised her. same for the rest of her father's crew for the most part. But as far as someone who she met later in life, that would be her best friend Phy, as well as her mother. Theo didn't have like any friends her age so finding a friend, particularily a friend also raised by a single parent was great. After her father and uncle pass, they offer to take her in and although those years were difficult; the normal teenage problems mixed with grieving her family, she does feel accepted. Phy doesn't really fit with a lot of people in Valenwood, her mom is a bit of recluse, so they kind of just do their own thing.

U. First pet names/nicknames they give each other

I actually have it in the first fic I wrote for them, but while they are still pretending not to have feelings for each other; Ondolemar slips up and refers to her as darling. Which of course, is just a mistake. They don't actually use any pet names until they have confessed their feelings and both use love/my love <3

Many people refer to Theodora as Theo, Ondolemar never does this. He is generally very formal and always says Theodora.

🤯 - First story that gained traction/attention, and how it made you feel

My first fic for Theodora and Ondolemar currently has the most kudos and reads of any of my fics, by far. Part of that is helped by the fact I wrote it Feb 2023 so it's one of my oldest fics. I'm a bit torn because it does feel nice to get kudos and hits, but it's also the first thing I wrote for them and considering I have 12 fics now (many minifics or twoshots, as opposed to this oneshot) I'd like to think I've gotten better. I think all of my others fics are better written, and their characters are more developed. But it is also a pretty easy read, like no background plot, just one and done horny moment.

If you are going to read any Theo fics, don't go with that one please I have done better!!! XD

I opened Photoshop, played with levels/curves etc. for a little while, got frustrated, gave up and simply waited for people who are good at Photoshop (or another software altogether) to work their magic.

Listen, all the 1.04 colorings I've seen so far are great, but when I stumbled upon yours, I was mindblown. Like the epitome of 🤯.

Seriously though. When will artists and technicians understand that if we can suspend our disbelief about witches and vampires existing then we can suspend it for low light scenes as well?

In this particular case, I had to set the brightness slider to 100% and hurt my eyes just to be able to see that hug. Sheesh.

I'd say that was an artistic choice if I didn't know this is a general problem in our streaming era. Which is weird, because the budgets for TV series have skyrocketed and all of them have a more cinematic look nowadays.

This is why I feel that some artists are overconfident in their skills (they think they know their tools, i.e., cameras, LED lights, lenses, but they don't) and/or don't have much experience with night scenes. And, of course, they work under pressure and have rushed schedules thus this mess.

Counterexample? "Interview With The Vampire."

An amazing show for many reasons, but one of them is definitely this: even though most of its scenes take place at night--because it's a show about vampires, duh--there's light everywhere. The people behind it know how to separate the background from the foreground (there's a scene with Armand and Louis that takes my breath away because of this), their balance, exposure, color-grade scales etc. Everything looks great.

could never understand how i survived this class. been trying to make easier-to-understand notes at the time and after that ive been avoiding studying it because my head literally hurts from being overwhelmed, hahaha

was only supposed to study using persing's but since it was too summarized, i brought out my notes from chang's and egan's and ultimately gave up for the night 😌 (i mean it was already 12mn so i feel my giving up is justified)

anywho, deviated from my supposed sched for today, and this is what happened:

laundry

grocery + ice cream date with mama

attempted to study mech vent

day 2/7 prayer and worship + day 2 fasting

messaged our program head regarding my inquiries about my classes (unfortunately i wasnt able to send follow up questions that i needed bc doc wasnt able to reply)

forgot to mention the highlight of my day: making a friendship tracker with my friends, hahaha, we've entered that phase 🥲

ive also found a vlogger (Hayeon) whom i now adore because as someone who wants to grow spiritually, ive been meaning to make my bible reading and quiet times in the morning again during breakfast before anything else (like how i used to despite being overloaded) +++ work out again !! ive gained so much this holiday season i think all the weight i shed during 2020-2021 came back hahahaha

also, to note, ive just been continuing to self-study topics related to respi to not forget + now im tackling the topics that gives me a hard time, i figured i should face them now instead of hiding under the topics i like hahaha
