The Ellys family owns a large tech conglomerate in the United States. They have international dealings, namely with the Houshakuji family's business. Because of this business connection, Miri and Renge grew up sending letters back and forth, moving to text when they were older, becoming good friends. A week after Renge transferred to Ouran, Miri followed, and they're rarely seen separately outside of clubs.

Nobody knows if Miri is a boy or a girl, not even Miri. They wear both uniforms depending on which they feel like, which tends to confuse her classmates. He just laughs it off, saying that's the point. Very studious, Miri is taking full advantage of the courses at Ouran to learn as much as possible. He plays the violin and takes it and the instrument's safety very seriously. She doesn't take social interactions seriously at all though, treating it more like a game because they make more sense to them until the rules are explained.

Along with being friends with Renge, Miri is close with Haruhi and Kaoru, who help her be comfortable in his gender. Miri is also crushing on Kyoya, though that goes unrequited.

Miri: Hey, Babe, I hope the dirty things you mentioned on the phone weren't just related to your dogs. Ardelle: Sorry, no of course not. I just got distracted by all those flies.

I think it's funny how Colby heads for Jude and Em's bed and Ardelle always heads for Jonah's bed. It's as if they avoid their respective parents' beds...

Got tagged by @bardic-inspo and holy hells I haven't done one of these in forever, but I have a silly little snippet towards the end of a longfic I'm pretty sure I've written the bulk of in a fugue state. Featuring modern AU Gale getting grilled by Miriam's little sister Eleanor.

Cassian laughed as he took it, a rich, warm sound that lit up his entire face. Gale saw Miriam in that laugh, unruly and unrestrained. “Gale, I don't believe you've met my little sister Eleanor. She insisted on coming along to size you up before you got to see Miri again.” “You make it sound so crass,” Eleanor sniffed. She eyed Gale with a curious look. “Miriam has told us so much about you.” Gale let out a nervous squeak of a laugh. “Is that so?” “Hmm.” Eleanor studied him intently with a few more moments of intense silence. “I suppose whether or not her assessments have any merit remains to be seen.” “I … see.” “Ellie, what have I told you about being polite to guests?” “He's not a guest, he's shagging our sister.” Cassian snorted. “Now who's being crass?” Gale clutched his luggage tighter and began to think perhaps for once in his life he was best served remaining silent.

My dms are open! If you have ideas and want to do them with me feel free to reach out! I am open to trying other fandoms other than what I have listed, so feel free to suggest things. If I don't know the fandom/haven't finished whatever it is then I will let you know. If is your decision from there whether you wish to continue or find someone better suited.

Communicate with me! I will not know what is going on if you don't communicate. If there's a scene you want to do, if you have to be offline for a while, etc don't be afraid to talk to me! I will do the same.

I welcome any and all identity headcanons except if you make gay characters straight. I often headcanon characters as trans myself.

I am open to ship suggestions, I will tell you if it makes me uncomfortable but if you suggest an obviously problematic ship I will simply block you.

I prefer long responses, but I will try my best to match whatever length you use.

I will not play abusive characters if they are a main character. If they're a side character that is fine, but if they are a main character I won't do it.

I do not have triggers but if you're going to include something that could be triggering please warn me first, it makes me uncomfortable when those kinds of things are suddenly sprung on me.

If you do not follow these rules you will be given a max of three warnings before I will just block you and/or stop replying.
