This morning, as I was hurriedly doing chores and packing for another weekend on the road, I heard the doorbell ring. My mom and I answer, only to find these adorable little faces (the daycare kids across the street), giggling as they hand us a “random act of kindness” and asked if we wanted to play. So we stopped the clock and spent our morning coloring with chalk and running around, barefoot and makeup-free, with our new best friends! What a sweet and simple reminder that you are never too old to bring happiness to someone’s day! To Minnesotans and our northern neighbor, Canada, hockey is heritage. Growing up near the rink teaches you discipline, respect for the game, and you learn to cheer all players on, no matter their side of the pond.
