I see a lot of discourse abt whether or not dhawan master comes before or after missy even though it's canon that he comes after. and it DOES make sense narratively speaking if you think about it. the master is naturally unhinged- just because missy seemed more in control than other regenerations doesn't mean it wasn't true. and even if her redemption did occur at the end, she started down this path to redeem herself because of selfish reasons. you can't put any iteration of the master in a box bc they're such a wonderfully complex character. and I think that the pain of the timeless child arc, combined with the trauma of the time lords planting the drums in their head AND missy's ultimately futile quest for redemption were what added up to the untamed anger that defined dhawan master. it's all the hurt of his previous regenerates PLUS his new trauma. missy never properly dealt with what happened with simm master - she just tried to move on as swiftly as possible and then there was the whole fiasco of them meeting and disturbing the timeline.

so it makes a lot of sense for dhawan master to come after missy.

HOWEVER, I think so many people tend to forget that -

Missy comes after Simm master.

Simm master was a psychopath (my absolute fave babygirl, but a psychopath nonetheless). And all of his existence was centered around a centuries old hurt that grew and grew until it was unbearable - the abandonment issues, the fear, the rage and the insanity that set him off on a path of destruction that wasn't even 100% his fault.

But his arc is honestly one of the best ones in nu who if you ask me - all the evil things he did in s3, all intertwined with brief moments of gentleness and acid pain when allowing himself to talk to the doctor openly... his death scene (which can even be discussed as religious penance but that's another story)... and then in s4, his entire motivation being trying to get rid of the drums and find out what they are and what he is.

His arc culminates with him realising that the doctor DID choose him in the end - he didn't leave him again, he saved him. And in exchange, he saves the doctor and sacrifices himself in the process.

So, especially since he doesn't remember his regeneration into missy fully and so his actual final moments are fuzzy, simm master essentially regenerates after his final act was to save the doctor.

That desire to more or less do right by him and keep that feeling of "us against the world" that they had in EoT is what motivates missy. Missy, who strives her entire life to be the doctor's friend again.

It all came from simm master's arc.

Which honestly breaks my heart and makes me claw at walls and no one ever talks about it.

He sighed not wanting to deal with this it would probably wear off soon he thought he closed his eyes and went back to sleep again

He snaps open his eyes at this thought he looks down at you suddenly his cheeks felt hot, his palms sweaty, and his heart beating loudly what the hell was happening to him

He grunts when he stands up not really wanting to get up but the feeling left him no choice he grabs his shoes and pillow opening the door of the attic before looking at you and closing it

He went down the spiral stairs of the attic and heading to his brothers room, the first stop was Lucifer he knocked at the door which he didn't normally do he heard a muffled 'come in' and open the door

Lucifer looks up from his paper work expecting beel considering he's probably the only brother who knocks but no he's met with Belphie instead which kinda unnerved him "Belphie? What are you doing here?" Lucifer said glaring at his brother not knowing if this was a prank or not but he's giving Belphie a chance

"There's this thing" he mumbled before sitting down at one of the couches "What thing...?" Lucifer said raising his eyebrow confused "You know... When your face feels hot, your hands are sweaty, and your heart beating faster..." He said

Lucifer looks at him with a raised eyebrow before grinning and continuing to read and sign documents "Never thought you'd be the first belpie" Lucifer Snickers making belpie twitch his right eye before sighing "You know what? Poppy in Poppy play time.

It's about time that I talked about something different. Today, I am going to be talking about the little doll Poppy, and give my thoughts about what I think about her, and what I think she'll do, in the fourth chapter. At first, Poppy looked like a creepy doll, that looked like to be an antagonist.

Just with her voice lines. It's in between of, I believe that she's helping us, but at the same time it looks like that she's using us. With what? At the end of chapter 2, when she took you to the train, and left you. It appeared to be 'Betrayal.' And she looked evil back at those chapters.

But, now in Chapter 3, she's appearing to be okay. Her ark, seems to be taken to another turn. She's given a bigger role with Kissy. It say's that Kissy Missy is the beacon in Poppy Playtime co.

And she seems quite friendly. But, she can still get aggressive. Even with Kissy, she seems to be a child almost. Almost innocent, and curious.

One thing I hope to say, to prevent Poppy from being evil, or being the final antagonist. 2 things actually...Is the founders.

So, I'm updating my theory to add this as further info. I was listening to the characters lines, that there's more to this evil, with evil people than this doll. Both of which, designed the monsters.

One of them designed the Prototype, and the other one designed the cat monster, Catnap. There is so much more going on. And they may be working together, their child factory is so fishy. One of the founders name is:

.Harley Sawyer.

and

.Lieth Pierre.

Harley Sawyer is the guy who created the Prototype. Lieth Pierre is the guy that created Cat Nap, or is in charge of him. And is keeping him as a wild animal, than all the other critters. And theatrically modified the red smoke into him.

I don't know much info about it, I'm just going with what I believe. And I believe, that they both are the true master minds that crafted the red smoke to trap children.

And use a cat, that most kids find cute, to lure them in, and gain their trust. That's what Catnap is used for, at the surface. That's why you see this huge play den in there, when you walk out of the cabin.

And by the sounds of it, Lieth does not care about the wellbeing of Catnap. He has a built in labyrinth for him, similar to how Dogday is being kept in, and was treating him, as if he's just as an experiment.

What makes his case unique is that Catnap has a real name Theodore. Otherwise known as 'Theo' His full name is Theodore Grambell. That name sounds friendly, for a Goblin wearing a bell. And he's kind of a pet to him. No wonder Catnap is so hostile.

Furthermore, it makes Catnap's name appeal to be a normal person's name almost. Whereas you have the other experiment names be, more like Nick name, pronunciations such as "Huggy Wuggy." "Kissy Missy." "Candy cat." ect. Than the very few that sound like offical names such as "Bron." The dinosaur, and "Poppy". The doll.

With Catnaps case, A.K.A 'Theo'. With his treatment, and role has some significant Importance with it. It has a lot of lore with him.

Which also extends the idea, with the more hostile creatures, back to "Huggy Wuggy." being treated like they are brainless monsters, this gives aother light, to how the monsters are being treated by the founders. With no good care.

They trap them, and release them to cause havoc. Like the others. They're probably getting the similar miss treatment, just differently to each monster. But all of which, not with care. Indeed abusive. With out a doubt. Especially with Poppy as well.

And here comes the second thing. With Poppy, yes her dialogues sound like, that she's up to something. But hearing it in her voice when she says that she wants to get revenge, and free everyone.

Even with that her dialogue sounds promising. I feel like maybe she shouldn't turn on us. Then on the other hand, it's like it's still in between, because she needs us.

Although, seeing the dynamic between her and Kissy. Is the reason why, I kind of don't want her to turn on us. She clearly has a concern for us. But don't make the right decisions. So, I am already reading into her as a flaw character, but don't really mean any bad intentions.

I'm believing that she is trying to help us. But, at the same time there is some skeptical feeling about her, with what she's going to do next. So far, she seems to be ok. She does have a concern for us.

And she does have a concern for Kissy, and have a deep connection to her, that I think that it would go down this road of Poppy, actually becoming the one that genuinly want's to help.

If the developers write here to do that. Which also gives me a reason, because she's been locked up. And referring back to the founders, they're likely to have treated her like that.

And it is proven, that some of the experiments are not dangerous. That, if she stays true to her word. Then the developers will have to write her, accordingly into genuinely helping to stop the Prototype. And rescue Kissy.

It is a good thing that some people are saying that, they hope to see Poppy NOT become the villain. Because of her connection with Kissy. There's something innocent about it.

And it's rare to have a doll, trustworthy in horror games. Poppy would be the very first savior, just like what Dogday said, to save the Play toy factory. Ever.

If she stays true to her word. This connection with her, and Kissy being written. It is deeper. Which helps to add on. That if her ambitions were to be evil, now changed because of this connection.

Is why I think, maybe Poppy is not evil, and not going to be used as the villain. Because so far, she's being written to find vengeance. That's what I think.

So I had an idea for what kind of kaiju some of the Toys could mutate into

Dog Day and Bobby Bearhug: They'd turn into something similar to King Ceaser, they'd have different types of special attacks like DogDay has a sunbeam like attack while Bobby has roar that creates a ton of air pressure that can push away boulders the size of a house.

Bubba and Picky: They mutate into something similar to Behemoth, large and heavily muscled Titans granted they don't really have Behemoths anteater like claws.

Kickin: He mutates into a kaiju similar to Rodan, to the point that Rodan actually joined Godzilla in breaking into Playtime Co. Granted Monarch draws the line when Rodan tries to take Kickin to his Volcano nest.

Hoppy: She mutates into a rabbit like kaiju/titan who has the ability of electrokinesis and oddly Godzilla seems pretty protective of her, to the point of Godzilla growled when Monarch performs physicals on her.

Craftycorn: She mutates into a titan/kaiju that is actually similar to Shimo granted with a large central horn, her mane slowly turning into collection of spines that Shimo has.

CatNap: He becomes a cat-like kaiju/Titan that can now climb nearly everything think like a mix of a monkey and a cat.

Huggy Wuggy and Kissy Missy: The slowly mutate turn into Great Ape like titans/kaiju to the point that Kong had a trip to the surface to see if they were alright. He brought Suko as he sensed there were new friends.

PJ Pugapiller, Cat-Bee, and Mommy LongLegs: They become titans/kaiju that are similar to Mothras species and the moth titan adopts them, granted they also consider Godzilla a dad.

Poppy and the Prototype don't really mutate into any titan or kaiju due to they were the first real forays into living toys so the kaiju cells used were real minimal

Establishing a timeline here as the Hour of Joy in canon occured around the 2010s so this is before KotM.

Cue the toys panicking as they have to be told this. All of them are currently undergoing therapy to undo whatever mental damage Playtime Co caused. Food therapy especially for those like Boxy Boo who were being tailored to human meat. (Pork being their best friend in that fiasco to help break the addiction.)

Poppy is the only one void of kaiju cells as Playtime Co doesn't know how to fully recreate the original conversion process so they used extra stuff. The Prototype was killed by Godzilla since he felt sense what kind of catastrophic damage he'll cause if left alive. Rodan also appearing definitely kicked Monarch into gear to handle the situation.

Every toy has a timer for when their body will trigger a kaiju related mutation. There are signs that occur before a shift: increased anxiety, uptick in aggression, increased appetite, feeling of tightness, and lethargy. It soon leads to unconscious as the first mutation is the most painful since the toys are essentially growing out of their mascot shaped shells. Their beginning size would be a bit smaller to Suko.

They'll retain some traits from their previous forms i.e color pallet, markings like the tags for the respective Smiling Critters, similar physical stature. Devices are being made so the respective toy can communicate in human languages. Monarch wants to give back at least as much of their original humanity. A division that handles them is also formed with Poppy being a key member since she still is the toys now turning kaiju friends.

Mommy Longlegs has some Scylla cells so she's more spider like in nature but Mothra's side overpowers it enough that any related mutation to spider kaiju are minor. Hoppy was given minor Titanosaurus Gojira cells alongside unknown rabbit kaiju so it explains why Godzilla would be extra protective. She's his kin in a sense.

Boxy Boo is an Tiamat and unknown ferret kaiju mix. CatNap has Hedorah based abilities as his mutation incorporated Red Smoke container in his body so he can shift into a violet gaseous state. Now for mutations in order:

Pre KotM: Hoppy, Kicken Chicken, Dogday

KotM: Hoppy(advanced due to delivering the nuke to Godzilla instead of Ishiro), CatNap, Craftycorn, Catbee

Pre GvsK: Bubba, Picky, Mommy, Boxy

GvsK: Huggy, Kissy, PJ, Bobby
