- making MOGAI accesible and understandable to everyone, which includes adding alt text to all our images

- remaining neutral & impartial

mogaiwiki.miraheze.org is a wiki that was start in September of 2020. We’ve flown pretty under the radar, mostly because there’s a huge announcement on our front page telling everyone that we’re on hiatus.

Well, we’re no longer on hiatus! It’s a long story; you can read all about it here. We have about 2,000 pages–including the entire Genderstajon system and a whole load of Oxigenders–and we’re looking for editors.

So if all that sounds good, you can join the discord, or just jump straight to the wiki and start looking around :)

Agender in an intersex way: which term do you prefer?

There are a bunch of terms for being agender in a way that is specifically tied/connected to being intersex: ingender, intergenderless, interagender, and vacagender.

I'm not sure which one to title the relevant Intersex Wiki article. Thought I'd do a poll. (edit: sorry for no option for they're all the same, tumblr only gives so many poll options ☹️)

Abroachillean and Abrosapphic flags

I originally made these on / for the Miraheze wiki on March 1st, 2022. They combine the Abro and Achillean / Sapphic flags to represent a combined identity.

I want to note that these flags can be used by anyone who is Abro and Achillean / Sapphic in any way, regardless of what the Miraheze wiki pages say.

Scrolling through tags like "lgbta wiki" on here makes me realise quite how much of a problem the wiki has with PR. This is a problem that I was, for far too long, blissfully unaware of. It's now a problem I wish to solve, and in the process try and make the wiki as best as it can be.

I've been seeing your rants about the wiki, including the ones about the sourcing policy Jeb announced a while back and the truly awful crediting situation for a lot of terms. I hear you. I see you and I hear you. And I want to include more voices in the wiki's future. That's why I'm bringing the LGBTA wiki back to Tumblr, so let me introduce myself.

Hi, I'm Virgil. I'm pan, ace, genderfluid, and probably a bit more. I really don't have the energy to figure that out every often, lol. I like playing games, exploring the depths of the interwebs and every now and then writing code. All the pronouns.

I've been helping run the wiki for probably around a year and a half by now, and so far have very little intention of slowing down. It's been a hell of a time, with a community I've grown to love even more than when I started out. Who woulda thunk that was possible, lol.

Anyways. Good to meet you, I guess. I'd appreciate if anyone who gets lucky enough to see this would drop a few cool people to follow on here, because I haven't exactly used this platform much up until now.

The new “accurate” lgbta wiki has incorrect definitions for corian and some other terms, plus issues with mashing terms together and only acknowledging one coining of a term as the “real” one (even if it’s not the original). So, y’know, maybe don’t use that one either
