Kurwa to jest dziwne albo mój border się uruchomił albo kurwa nie wiem... Jestem po rozstaniu fakt... Mieszkam u przyjaciółki ( też ma bordera - także się dogadujemy i to bardzo ❤️), od wczoraj stała się dla mnie jeszcze bardziej ważna niż była... Border się uruchomił? Nie wiem ... Ale czuję się zajebiście, w skowronkach jak narazie... Dzisiaj jedzie na wieś na parę dni ( mam nadzieję że na parę dni a nie do końca miesiąca ) co oznacza że będę sam na chacie... Nie cieszy mnie to że jej nie będzie... Bo już czuję że bedzie mi jej brakowało... 🥹

OKay, yeah, everything I said last post. I completely believe this is a tendency in Ed. A tendency does not have to become a sentence. It does not have to become the story of you. Sark - My go to place for a self care day

Sark for me is just one of those places that your shoulders instantly relax the moment you set foot on the island; it’s a haven for the most peaceful break whether just for a day trip or a longer break. Sark is an Island that is part of the Bailiwick of Guernsey. It is 5.5km squared and is made up of 2 parts called Greater Sark and Little Sark, they are joined by a narrow isthmus called La Coupée which is a little nerve racking to cross over but it is stunning.

Getting around is very easy, cars are banned on Sark so transport is either by foot, bicycle or you can take a horse and carriage to certain areas. Once you get off the boat there is a large hill to get to the top, it’s not too steep and there is a path if you fancy the walk oh and a pub perfectly situated right at the top for a post walk refreshing drink! However there is also what we call a toast rack which will get you to the top, it’s basically a passenger carriage towed by a tractor which costs around £1.50 but it really has to be done for the experience.

If you are there for just the day then I recommend a bike and in fact some bike shops have electric bikes, even though it is relatively flat there are some small but steep hills which would be more easily manageable for everyone with an electric bike. I use Bam’sBikes which is right where you are dropped off at the top by the toast rack, a relatively new company which has all electric bikes.

There are just so many beautiful views to be seen it’s hard not to mention them all, in fact every time I go I seem to find a new favourite spot. I will mention a few must see areas though as I feel they can not be missed if you are on a short visit. First one is the Window in the Rock as it’s just an absolutely stunning location, La Coupée of course as you just have to cross over it then you can go to the Big Pink Chair and the Venus pool which are located on Little Sark. Pilcher monument and the next headland Moie du Mouton as the views over to the Island of Brechou, Herm and Guernsey are just stunning.

As for places to eat well to be honest I’ve not been to all of them on island but I suspect they are all just as good as each other. I do recommend Hatters as I have eaten there a few times and always had a great meal and of course on the way to Little Sark you absolutely have to stop at Carragh Chocolates and sample some of their lovely chocolates, the hot chocolate with some added alcohol also hits the spot!

I absolutely love Sark and try to get there at least a couple of times a year,  I am very lucky that I live on Guernsey so it’s only a 35 minute boat ride away. Whenever I need a ‘self care’ day and I can’t afford a trip further afield then Sark is my choice, the tranquillity and peace is absolutely second to none and I feel recharged after just a few hours there.
