this is oure brian rot from your general bakugo x princess reader fic i sincerely hope you don't mind
those little heathen children the two of you are bound to have- twins probably bc let's be honest someone makes an off hand remark about how much sex you have and how at this rate you’re gonna end up with twins. and he takes it as a challenge. a boy and a girl
he accomplishes his goal despite how you were skeptical. he did think you were gonna kill him when the time came to push their big foreheads out. your daughter looks like him and your son looks like you. they both have their dads crimson eyes tho.
him and his son ended up with an unspoken rivalry. that brat loves to steal you away from him. has told him, “at this point it’s safe to say i’m mom’s favorite boy.” the disrespect.
his daughter is def a daddys girl tho, it’s rare to see them to far apart although she takes after you in the maturity phase. she knows she can’t hog him or else she’ll end up like her brother so she has hobbies aka being a terror to the staff. she drags her goody-two-shoes brother around for her chaotic acts.
anything from pulling pranks on the staff to bullying general deku- i mean izuku. their grandparents are especially soft for them so when they get in trouble they’ll go to one of them with puppy eyes and maybe some tears to get out of trouble.
your ryoal advisor momo practically begs you to have more children by the time the twins reach four, in her words “there’s no way they can take the throne they haven’t a proper bone in their body-“ bakugo has no problem knocking you up again
twins again but this time they’re both girls and prefer eachother over their parents. they also have red eyes but your skin tone. they end up being the heirs. don’t get me wrong they also have choas in their blood but they tend to get away with it much better.
this is how the kingdom became a monarchy. one of them works behind the scenes and the other is the public figure.
idk got carried away but it’s funny how there’s no way any of your children could be conventional royals. the older twins probably take their fathers place in the military but your sun is deff the strategist, your daughter probably has some terrifying nickname on the battlefield.
oh and your son remains the only boy no matter how many kids you have. so he’ll always be your baby boy. throws that in his dads face a lot. whats even funnier is that they are so good at hiding their playful rivalry away from you. like everyone knows except for you. it’s an unspoken rule that it’s never explicitly brought up by anyone.
ok im actually done now. shit idek if your chill with child talk i completely forgot to read your rules im sorry! but i’ll lose everything if i don’t send it :( feel free to ignore or block me:(
the way I’ve literally just seen this 😭 so sorry i love this so much! very cute and sweet i don’t think i need to add on it’s basically perfect

COMPLETED: Breath of Fire 3
Tumblr media
It is done. God is dead. Well...a self-proclaimed god. While we cheated, my son and I did beat the game...and, despite this being one of my favorite RPGs, it's uh...my first time "beating" it.
So! We crossed the desert into the futuristic city that now lies in ruins and took the elevator up to the Myria Orbital station. It's, uh, a space station connected to the earth by an elevator shaft...I guess. Concept Art
After all the wandering about, I was pretty ready to meet "God" and get this over with--but it's the finale, so they had to make it count. We wandered about, trying to feel our way around the "space station". Eventually, we found a room I had forgotten about...it had electrified floors. To un-electrify them, there are three consoles. Each console has a pattern of negative and positive signs on a grid. You have to get the three patterns to over-lap so that the postive-negative charges cancel each other out. But with three panels, you run into issues of two positives and one negative occupying the same space: thus it stays electrified.
Clever idea: yes. Fun idea: no.
One console is in the room with the floor, and the other two consoles are in a completely different room, separated by a 30 second walk not counting the one or two random battles you're likely to get. I got really frustrated, and my son went and told my wife: "That game is making daddy nuts!"
Anyway, I figured it out and moved on. This required a boss fight (easy enough cause we're cheating), which got us a keycard and special plant-killing shells for Momo. Going back to the other wing of the station, Momo uses the special shells to blow up plant vines blocking the door (not unlike a puzzle in Resident Evil 2...).
I think beyond this, we find a labyrinth of utility hallways. I had to back track a few times. Eventually we get to an indoor garden.
FLASHBACK: (not in the game, but mine)
Back when I first tried to play this game, I defeated every challenge thrown at me. I think I did have the guide to the game, but it was mostly used to help me through some sticky parts (and look at the cool art!). I made it to the final dungeon (Myria Station) but struggled to beat the final boss.
As a matter of fact. I never beat the final boss.
I needed to be a higher level. To reach that level, I did some grinding in the garden area. Mostly, you fight Plant 42s, which I loved since it was a reference to the mutated Resident Evil plant. But it shocked me to see that the exp was about 800, when there are fights elsewhere in the station that land closer to the 2k range. Surely that would have been more effective leveling?
Either way--I just never got strong enough to win the final boss.
BACK TO PRESENT:
We find Teepo here. Jack and Rei are surprised as hell! My son was excited, cause we all thought Teepo was dead. Turns out, Teepo is also a dragon, just like Jack. But instead of wandering the world with Garr and Nina, he joined the Goddess Myria who convinced him that his powers were dangerous. So he surrendered himself to her and is now her brain-washed lapdog, more or less.
Teepo causes Ryu to go into a weird dream (which we had to play twice due to game-freeze). Here, Ryu is exposed to the thoughts and anxieties of his party members. This is supposed to convince him to surrender his power like Teepo, but it doesn't.
Nina apparently struggles to please her mother by being a good, respectable princess while also trying to be herself and pursue her own sense of justice: such as helping Ryu and saving Rei!
Rei...I guess is concerned about his own power as Weretiger. Mostly, he just seems to want to help his old friend?
Garr wants to reconcile why he was ordered to kill hundreds of dragons, especially then they easily could have defended themselves--but they didn't.
Momo wants to understand all the advanced tech here, and how it could be used to better the world.
Peco is apparently the fucking tree of Yggdrassil in mobile form, and wanders about with thousands of years worth of world-knowledge, but can't communicate it to the team cause he doesn't speak English.
So anyway, Ryu doesn't relent and Teepo must be defeated. He dies and turns into a purple dragon. Rei and Ryu are sad, but yo--dick move.
Next, we have to find our way to Myria. First, there's this confusing 3 level maze of boss rooms that have you fighting past bosses, sometimes several at a time. It was annoying, and my son was done with it. WE JUST WANT TO MEET GOD!
Once through, we find a super sci-fi, futuristic room with holograms explaining Myria's intentions. The advanced world was being consumed by sand. My guess is that pollution made that world self destructive. Myria led her people to a greener, more flourishing land and then built a giant ocean between them to stop the sands. She also made the ocean very dangerous so the humans wouldn't return. Some how, she feared the power of the dragons would bring about another sand-issue, so she had them killed to save humans.
Now, this seems like a Lost scenario where Myria is no God, and likely didn't actually build any oceans. Instead, she helped people escape their self-destructive technology, and then controlled people's knowledge of tech so they wouldn't repeat past mistakes. So basically, she kept building machines and letting them fall in the ocean so they'd wash up on shore (Steel Beach). This allowed people to use machines a little, but not "make" machines.
I think she really feared dragon power as a threat to her own power, and wanted them out of the equation since they didn't submit to her rule. Since she martyred herself as a savior of humans, she felt justified in her genocide.
Ryu chooses whether to help her or fight her. But she warns that fighting her would mean facing the desert without her protection. Warning that holds little merit in my mind, cause she's a liar.
So we fought her. We defeated her.
The space station starts to crumble. Garr decides he's completed his journey and turns to stone like the other guardians. Everyone else escapes. Myria prays to God, asking, "If there is a God..." revealing that she was playing a part and did not actually know shit (like Jacob in Lost).
Afterwards, Ryu is seen joining his friends at a cliff overlooking a desert: fade to black.
Despite the many deviations the story takes for the sake of taking up time, I really enjoy this game. The world is well defined and the characters are good. Even the villains often have empathetic motivations, or perspectives that make you doubt your first conclusions. The game also tackles a variety of concepts that are morally challenging and deals with death and sacrifice in meaningful ways. It led to great conversations between my son and I. The last leg of the game is a bit tedious and shallow. I understand why they felt compelled to make it "bigger", but they used up most of their plot early on.
We cheated. We had infinite health and all that. Basically, we just killed all the grinding and retries. The game has a great story and fun mini games (and the sound track is fucking amazing!) so I don't think much is lost by skipping the tedious random battles and leveling up. If that's something you want as part of your experience, go for it.
It's just, for RPGs like this, the best things about them are story, characters, mini-games, puzzles, and exploring. The fighting is fine, and expected, but it shouldn't take up 70% of your play time when it's really only about 10% of the fun (if that).
So I feel no shame in cheating.
My son wants to play Breath of Fire 4 now. I'm excited to revisit this one (I actually beat it before (no cheating))!

♥ Chapter 5 ~ Recommendation Entrance Exam P1 ♥
Previous Chapter
Tumblr media
"You will have 30 minutes to prepare for your written exam, you may converse and study with one another but there will be no conversations during the test. You may start." Cementoss said leaving the stage. I couldn't stop smiling. I am actually here about to take the exam.
I couldn't help smiling like an idiot. I looked around the auditorium, there were so many more people than I expected. At least a 50 by the looks of it.
God this is nerve-racking. I reached into my backpack pulling out the study guide Star made for me. I have to remember to thank him till the end of time. I wonder how he is doing in his exam. Probably acing it like a pro. I hung my head down in defeat. Why is school so hard? I can ace almost anything else but for things like math or chemistry, my mind just stops working.
"Hello" I looked up towards the voice. It was a rather tall girl with beautiful black hair tied up into a ponytail. I gave her a small smile and said "Hello I'm L/N Y/N but please call me Y/N I'm not a fan of formalities" "I am Yaoyorozu Momo, I noticed you were looking quite upset. May I ask why?" She sounded genuinely concerned, she seems so nice. "I just don't feel prepared for this test I feel like I'm going to fail. I am more of a hands-on person rather than a thinker and it just ugghhh" I placed my head on my unopened study guide.
"Maybe I can help you study we still have 25 minutes before the test starts and I could use a study buddy for the time being." I perked my head up to her smiling face. Wow, she's pretty. My brain fart disappeared as I realized what she said. My head straightened a huge smile was plastered on my face "Really you would help me!" "shhhhhhhhhhhh!" A guy behind me who looked like a skeleton with hair. "Sorry I will be quieter" God this is so awkward where is Star when you need him.
"I would love for you to help me it would mean a lot. thank you." She sat down next to me and pulled out her own study guide it was much thicker than mine. She really came prepared. I decided to just scrap my study guide and we went over stuff in hers.
~Shoto's POV~
"Really you would help me!" I looked up from my book to see who was yelling at this time. It's that girl from earlier. She's so unprofessional I thought she would be with the other kids in the regular entrance exam. She obviously doesn't do well in school so why is she even here? I need to focus on this test. I looked back down at my guide. If I want to become a hero I need to pass.
~Back to Y/N~
She makes the work sound so easy way better than Star. If he meets her, I'm pretty sure he will try and challenge her to an intelligence match. I am so glad I met her before the test. Maybe we both get in and see each other in school.
There was a ring indicating that the study session was over. Cementoss came back to the stage as the whole auditorium got quiet. "Everyone please move so there are three seats separating you from other testers." "Good luck Y/N you worked hard so you will be able to pass," Momo said as she moved three seats away. I waved her goodbye and told her good luck as well.
Once everyone was situated, cement blocks rose in front of our tables with the test and a calculator. Cementoss continued to talk. "Once you hear the bell you will begin. You will have 2 hours to complete your exam. Once you are finished with your exam you will place it back on the cement and you may go to the break room. There you will receive a number and you may do any necessary preparations for your practical exam. Remember there will be absolutely no cheating. If you are caught cheating, you will be escorted out of school and you will never be able to retake the exam and you can say goodbye to ever being admitted to UA academy. Good luck." As he left the stage there was another bell indicating the test had begun. I picked up my pencil and opened the packet.
The net effect of photosynthesis, chemically, is reduction, leading to the formation of simple carbohydrates and accompanied by a release of oxygen. True or False.
Oh boy.
__________________
Finally, I'm done with the test. Momo already left. I wonder how she did. She most likely passed she's very smart. I picked up my bag and left the auditorium. There was a sign outside pointing towards the break room. I should probably change first. I did a quick turn and headed for the nearest bathroom. "Oof". Oh jeez. I looked up to face the back of a guy. He had crimson red and white hair split evenly down the center. He was on the taller side but other than that nothing special till he turned around and faced me. My mouth gaped open. He had beautiful different colored eyes and a huge scar over one of them, which was very odd.
"It's rude to stare." He scoffed down at me. I will just ignore that scoff since it was my fault. "Oh sorry, it was an acci..de..nt. You are Endeavor's son! I recognize that blue eye anywhere. My brother is practically obsessed with your family. Though that scar of yours isn't on pictures I've seen," I said in an attempt to break the ice.
He looked at me with absolute hatred in his eyes. Dang, I didn't know bumping into someone will automatically make me hated. Maybe I shouldn't have mentioned his scar. "Excuse me I need to be going." I moved out of the way allowing him to pass. As he left, I shouted, "Sorry for bumping into you, it was purely an accident. There is no need to look at me like that!" and ran into the bathroom to change. Such a quiet guy very different from the stories Kean says about Endeavor. I opened my backpack and pulled out my workout clothes. I quickly put them on. It was just some high waisted leggings and a white crop top. Perfect for optimum power use. I slipped on my shoes and grabbed my backpack. Hopefully, I'm not too late I still need some food in my system.
I got to the room where everyone else was and it was pretty full already. I looked around trying to find Momo so at least I will have somebody to talk to. "Ehehm." I looked around for the voice, but I didn't see anyone talking to me. "Down here, dearie." I looked down to see a small elderly woman. My smile grew so wide. "Recovery Girl! Oh, it's so nice to meet you. My mom talks about you all the time. I knew you were going to be at UA as a teacher, but I didn't think I would meet you today at the exam. Oh, this is so exciting. Can I have your autograph?" I gushed out in excitement. "One thing at a time dear. Here is your number it should always be visible at all times till you leave." "Yes ma'am," I said taking the number and putting it on my shirt.
"You must be M/N's daughter. You share the same energetic curious aura that she does. Plus, those ears are hard to forget." She chuckled light-heartedly. I sheepishly laughed. Oh, I wish she won't talk about my ears. "If it's an autograph you want here." She motioned me to come down to her level. I stooped down as she wrote her name on my number paper. "Thank you so much!" "Now now dearie you have a practical exam to get ready for and I have numbers to pass out. Good luck." I waved goodbye.
I walked over to the food table. It was decked out with so much food. My mouth watered as I looked at it all. I could eat everything here in five seconds if I wanted to. "Looks good doesn't it." I heard Momo behind me. "Oh yeah it looks good, even better than good, it looks scrump-dilly-isous." She giggled at my choice of words.
We picked out some food and went to sit down and eat while we wait for the others to finish testing. "So, what's your quirk Momo," I said in between bites. "My quirk is creation. I have the ability to create any non-living material/object from my exposed skin by transforming the molecular structure of my fat cells." "Your quirk is just like my best friend's; he is in the regular entrance exam. Although he doesn't use fat cells but rather imagery using his neocortex. Though he can only use the item for 10 minutes before it disappears. Do your items disappear too?" "No, they are permanent after I create them. So, what's your quirk." "From what I've figured out I can control the elements. Air, fire, earth, and water; the usual but I can lose energy using it a lot. Though there is sub stuff I'm trying to figure out. That is why I am here at UA. Hopefully, they can help me 'reach my full potential' as my brother says." I said with quotation marks.
"Wow, your quirk is so powerful! No wonder you're in recommendations," she said with excitement. I sheepishly laughed, "It's actually not that powerful really. When I first started, I could barely lift a pebble without passing out. My brother says that any quirk can be powerful it all depends on the person and how they use it. Your quirk is awesome you can create anything you want and it's forever. If you wanted you could make so many clothes and video games!" I gushed. "T-That's against the rules! If I make anything I want with my quirk then the circulation of money will be disrupted. As a citizen of this nation, I must increase the flow of money in the economy." she said in an attempt to defend her obvious spending habits.
~Shoto's POV~
'Sorry for bumping into you, it was purely an accident. There is no need to look at me like that!' How did I look at her? I looked up to see the odd girl conversing with another student. She's so odd and weird. How can she be so loud and obnoxious with no regard for other peoples' study time so early in the morning? Not to mention she's dumb and could have used the study time. How in the world did she make it into recommendations. I'll find out as soon as I pass this stupid test. I need to prepare.
"Students we will be taking a bus to the testing site form two lines and board in an orderly fashion!" some random guy yelled into the room.
It's time.
~Y/N POV~
Finally, the fun part is about to begin. "C'mon Momo we got this. Let's go."

The Sword of the Solstice.
Chapter Eleven: The Forbidden Road.
Shoto looks up to see Izuku, Momo, and Eijiro. “Shoto! Are—are you okay?” Izuku asks. Momo walks over to a pack that held Shoto's greatsword. “Where are they?” She questions, and Shoto swallows a lump in his throat. “They're dead.” Shoto says, punching the dirt. Momo sets the sword at Shoto's feet, and he grabs the hilt, driving the blade into the dirt. “I am no longer worthy of this Sword. I have broken my Paladin's Oath. I surrendered to the Dark Powers.”
Eijiro frowns. “What? How, and why?” He asks, and Shoto stands. “They cursed me, created a path for Dendar to send whispers to me. I resisted it for days, and was doing well, but I got angry, and I used Dendar's magic to disintegrate them...” Izuku shrugs. “Ochaco has Dendar's magic and she isn't evil. Why would you be for the same reason?” Momo takes a step back from Shoto and the sword.
“If paladins are swayed, they turn into her servants one way or another. Whether as a willing subject, or a cursed demon.” She says, as she points to his left hand. Shoto frowns, as he lifts his left hand, he sees black claws protruding from his fingers. She sighs. “Demon ichor. It seeps through your body until all that was human is demonic.” Shoto grunts, trying to force the magic substance out of him.
Izuku pats his shoulder. “Maybe there's a way to stop it?” Izuku says, and Eijiro nods, feeling hopeful Both Momo and Shoto shake their heads. “Just like how defective Dendar Cultists can't be free of their curse, the same is true of turned paladins.” Shoto says, wincing at the words “turned paladins”. Shoto sniffs. “Where are Katsuki and Ochaco, by the way?” He asks. “At Katsuki's home village, Leeno.” Shoto curls his nose up in disgust.
“The village of cannibals?” Shoto asks, and Izuku chuckles. “Kacchan made it clear that that is just a myth.” Eijiro smiles. “He slapped Izuku!” He says, Shoto's eyebrows raise, and he gasps. “He slapped you?” Izuku nods. “In his defense, I did deserve it. I shouldn't have judged his village like that.” Izuku says, with a shrug.
Shoto nods. “Well, now what? I'm part demon and you said that Katsuki and Ochaco stayed behind. What are we supposed to do?” Izuku glances at Momo, who mouths, “This is your chance to lead.” Izuku clears his throat. “We have only a couple options. 1, we go down the Forbidden Road to Loyaci, or 2, head back to Leeno to get Kacchan and Ochaco.”
Eijiro frowns. “Katsuki and Ochaco made it clear that they weren't going to come.” He points out, and Momo sighs. “I can't say going without them is the wisest plan, but I do agree with Sir Kirishima. They might not come willingly.” Shoto grunts. “Whatever you decide to do, do it quickly. These Cultists said they were waiting for someone. I don't think it would be wise to stay here any longer than we have to.”
The party nods in agreement, and Momo suggests they get out of the open. They hide their horses in the trees nearby, and then go into hiding behind some rocks at the coast of the river. "They shouldn't be able to find us here. However we should come up with a plan to get to Loyaci.” Momo says, as the sound of footsteps come closer. They look up, to see a man of perhaps 30? Maybe 35, skipping over to the bridge from the west side. Now the party is on the east side, behind some rocks, but once this guy got onto the bridge Momo figured he would be able to see them.
Momo motions for them to sneak under the bridge, onto the small stretch of land that is shaded by the stone bridge. They nod, and follow her under the bridge. The man stops above them, and laughs. “Ooh, am I the early one?! Did I beat Dabi and Toga here?!” He says, and he clears his throat. “No, you idiot!” A deeper voice says. Izuku frowns. Wasn’t there only one man up there? He asks himself. Shoto closes his eyes, as pain shoots up his left arm.
He gasps, as the black ichor oozes up his arm. He growls, and takes a deep breath. NOT NOW! I gotta stop this somehow. I used Command on Dendar’s presence inside Ochaco, perhaps it could work on her now? Can I even cast spells though? I suppose it’s worth a try. He winces. “Give in, I promise that if you give in now, I won’t turn you into a demon.” Dendar says, as she hisses. Shoto clenches his fist.
“No.” He mutters, taking a deep breath. Lathander, if you are still with me, help me. He grunts, and attempts to cast Command. “Flee.” He says, his voice carrying up to the bridge. He hears the man above whimper. “What was that?!” He cries out. “Who cares?” The deep voice says. “We need to get out of here!” The man runs back the way he came, and Shoto looks down at his arm, and the ichor stops in its tracks.
It doesn’t leave, but it stops at the shoulder, and the pain subsides. He sighs. Momo, Izuku, and Eijiro look at him. “What just happened?” Eijiro asks. Shoto’s hand shakes. “I think I used my command spell on two targets... Lathander’s power hasn’t abandoned me...” He says, with relief. Izuku smiles. “That’s great, Shoto. However, we really need to go to Loyaci now.” He says, and the others nod. They climb out of the ditch of the slow moving river.
They retrieve their horses, and Shoto decides instead of pushing his luck with Lathander’s favor, to just ride with Izuku. They ride along the bridge, but go at a slow pace. They didn’t want that cultist to see them, especially since the fleeing command only lasts about an hour, and to get to Loyaci from here was a good ride away. Not to mention the sound of three horses trotting after him would most certainly alert him to their presence.
They continue down the Forbidden Road, which Izuku now understands why it was called that. The road as it were, is filled with deep cracks, that Izuku was sure could swallow a man whole. The grass is yellow-ish brown, and all of the plants lie dead and snapped. The trees around are covered in vines, and are bare of leaves. He looks up, to see the dark clouds and the sky has a reddish tint. The stench of death blows through the wind, and along the road side are dead birds, and squirrels.
“Lively place.” Eijiro comments, frowning. As a Draconic, seeing nature in such disrepair, made him feel horrible. What could cause such decay? Momo sighs. “Unfortunately, it gets worse as it goes on. Many say the dark magic that’s performed in Loyaci caused the surrounding areas to become twisted and dark. Even the sky is polluted because of it.” She says, shaking her head. “Can’t believe Elves would do this to nature.” She mutters.
Eijiro grits his teeth. “You said that it just gets worse as it goes on, have you been here before?” Eijiro asks, and she sighs. “Once. When Neumel was destroyed. My lord—that is, Prince Natsuo—commanded on his deathbed that a force be led to Loyaci to end the reign of terror that Loyaci’s king commanded. I was one of the chosen ones to go cleanse it. But we never got farther than the gate.”
She unsheaths her greatsword. “But that will change this time. It must.” Shoto nods. As they continue onward, a pink skinned girl runs over, panting. The sounds of shouts echo through the gloom of the wasteland. “Get back here, Draconic scum!” Yells an Elf from somewhere. The Draconic girl whimpers, and her pace quickens. “I can’t do it again!! I can’t!” She shrieks, as she runs closer. Izuku looks back at Shoto, who gasps. Momo pulls out her sword, as she notices Shoto trembling. “It's you.” He says, his voice shaking. “You destroyed Neumel...”
-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-
Ochaco and Katsuki walk up to Mitsuki and Masaru, and Ochaco notices that he tenses up. That makes her just want to hide or curl up in a ball. She steps behind Katsuki. How scarier is his mother?! She wonders, although she could understand having a scary mother. I mean, in her case, her mother tried to sacrifice her to some evil deity, dying in the process! She doubted that it was anything that crazy, but what if it was? “Where's that girl you aren't totally courting go?” Mitsuki asks, and Ochaco realizes that they were talking. She looks around him, and pokes her head out.
Mitsuki smiles. “Well, hello, dear.” Ochaco blinks in disbelief. Just “hello, dear”?! She thinks, and Mitsuki readjusts her tunic, and laughs. “Sorry for assuming that you and Katsuki were courting.” She says, and Masaru mumbles something, and she grunts. Katsuki sighs. “Um, what about the um, swinging an axe at her, Mother?” He says, and Masaru nods, as if that was what he was muttering about. Ochaco gets fidgety, with her palms being clammy. “It's o—okay, actually!” She says, worried a fight will break out.
Mitsuki shrugs. “Yeah, Katsu! Not all girls are helpless wimps!” She punches Ochaco's shoulder. Ochaco starts to explain that she didn't mean it in that way, but decides to just go with it. She nods, and massages the shoulder that Mitsuki punched. She hopes Mitsuki doesn't notice her reaction to the punch. Katsuki grunts. “Well, what did you need to so badly talk to me about that you felt that the potential end of the world was important enough?” Katsuki asks, and Mitsuki hurls a punch to Katsuki's stomach.
“No talking back, Katsuki.” She says, and Katsuki nods. “You’re still here because I can’t lead anymore...” She says, frowning. Katsuki scoffs. “What are you talking about?! You’re still strong, you can take down a whole army by yourself! Why would you not be the Leenoan leader for as long as you draw breath?!” She groans, and looks to Masaru. “You explain it dear. It’s too embarrassing.” She turns away.
Masaru places his hand on Katsuki's shoulder, as if bracing him for bad news. “While you were gone, a split in leadership happened. You see, one of the warrior clans in Leeno felt they have more right to rule than your mother does. The Monoma clan.” Katsuki nods. “That clan killed the other man who could’ve been my father, right?” Katsuki says, and Ochaco gasps. Masaru winces, but nods.
“Yes, it’s that man’s son, Neito Monoma. He’s always claimed that he is the rightful chieftain since we banned his father. The only thing that stopped him was you being an obvious heir.” Katsuki grunts. “So what’s happened? Why is this a problem?” Masaru scratches his neck. “Well, with you gone as long as you were, everyone thought you were dead...” He says, trailing off.
“A civil war erupted.” Mitsuki says, her back still turned. “Between those loyal to us, and to those who are loyal to him.” Katsuki cracks his knuckles, and growls. “Where is this traitor, I’ll destroy him!” Mitsuki turns around, and looks at Masaru. “You can’t, son...” Ochaco scoffs. “Why not?” Masaru turns to her, and sighs. “He challenged Mitsuki to a duel, and well, she um, didn’t win.” Katsuki’s jaw drops, and his eyes bulge. “SHE DIDN’T WHAT?!”
