Kenobi refuses to listen to Cody’s input. Kenobi throws himself into battle with no regard for previously established battle plans. Kenobi uses the Force so recklessly and obviously that every undercover assignment is blown within the first few minutes. Kenobi is a hypocrite who berates Cody for sidestepping protocol, but flouts it himself at every opportunity.

if you're watching this by sunseekerr Major Character Death. I wasn't originally going to include this one yet, but it complements Emma's fic above so well. Eddie actually dies in 4x14. Buck falls apart a bit. And then some more when Eddie's attorney shows him a video message Eddie recorded for him. I seriously cannot emphasize enough how much I cry every time I reread this. 12.8k words, not rated

i don't swim and you're not in love by @hattalove To recover from the heavy angst of the previous fic, let us indulge in some heavy pining instead. How many times can I recommend this fic? Yes, is the answer. Buck watches as Ana takes up more and more space in Eddie's and Christopher's lives and doesn't really know how to handle it. This also kind of makes me cry, but for very different reasons. To this day one of my absolute favourite fics in the 9-1-1 fandom. 32.4k words, rated T

Hello!! So starting next week I will be doing something a little different for music mondays, and I won't say what as of now but I'm very excited about it! For now, I have a few songs for the fic playlist.

Thank you @strandnreyes and @ironheartwriter for tagging me! I've been late getting to these lately but thank you all for keeping it rolling.

The first fic is Not Strong Enough by @honeybee-taskforce. It's still in its early stages, but I love it so far! Phoenix by League of Legends and Goodbye from the Arcane soundtrack remind of me Carlos and TK respectively, but they also generally have that superhero theme music vibe as well!

Also, we cant forget the fact that TK listens to Halestorm in this fic. Specifically Familiar Taste of Poison. I feel extremely validated by this information.

The next fic is Keep Your Eyes On Me by @bonheur-cafe and the song I have for this one is Life Is Better With You by Michael Franti. This song is about all of the seemingly insignificant moments in life (such as grocery shopping) being made into an adventure when you're with the person you love, which made me think of how happy and carefree TK and Carlos are in this fic.

I hope it’s okay that I start us off today @tellmegoodbye since I’ve missed so many Mondays in the past month!
