I have a couple arcs I need to read but I'm just not in the mood for any of them. I got another one today that I'm so excited for but I'm just not in the mood for it right now. And if I read it, I won't like it.

See this is 100% my problem.

I'll do the same when I buy a book. It'll sit there until I'm ready to read it.

I just saw this quote on Pinterest saying this,

And now I’m very tempted to forgo every elaborate plan I ever had of finally reading a spooky story before Halloween and instead diving headfirst into the All For The Game series by Nora Sakavic.

…Except I am a grotesquely slow reader…

…Who usually avoids series because they take too long to finish…

…And dramatically challenge my short attention span…

…Resulting in sporadic reading slumps and days-on-end wishing for a book in another universe…

20 min after making this, Libby came through with Graveyard Shift by M.L. Rio, which I couldn't stop myself from immediately starting.

Okay, gotta sit down and get serious about The Haunting of Hill House. Can I read the other three quarters of the book in one day? Probably. But I've definitely been reminded of how much more dense many books used to be. Moreso in content than size. It's taken me quite a while just to get around the 50(ish) page mark.

But I did that poll so now I have to finish it. I may allow myself to dip into Sunday as well. I'm on a Tuesday-Monday schedule anyway. But I'll cap it at Sunday.
