This fantasy faceup on a Gem of Doll Capricorn in white skin and her transparent horns were such a labor of love. I painted this gorgeous girl for a friend of mine, and I absolutely loved her concept and helped her ideate the elements for the faceup.

Working on something for @artoutoftheblue @madcatdaderpydrawer-blog @eclipsedcrystalstar. Using the dragons I drew up for them a while ago. Only got Lord Jeopardy so far. Going to work on Lord night And then cv eclipse.

I'm going to call the piece- well deserved revenge.

Moon Dragon

This is a 2011 piece called Dracogena Noctilucae. It's one of my earlier layered pieces, and it was done for the LunaCon convention as part of my Artist Guest of Honor remit.

The dragon... pieces? ...were done with Prismacolor pencils over a watercolor underpainting. There's gold paint pen detailing.

The moon is made of repousse metal that I tooled with a ballpoint pen and then "antiqued" with acrylic paint and dish soap (otherwise the acrylic won't stick). It's sealed, so the paint/soap won't come off.

The background is acrylic and rhinestones.
