The art is really fun and interesting for Moon Knight (2021), but I’m not sure how I feel about the writing/story. I don’t hate it, but I also don’t love it. I guess it’s just okay. The 2014 and 2016 ones were really fun and never had a down moment.

Jumping feet first into Moon Knight comics and I still have a lot of ground to cover but the difference between this in the 2014 run

Of Marc calling on Khonshu for a favor and him immediately complying vs the 2021 run

Calling out multiple times, with the same verbiage, but Khonshu only responding when he gets what he wants out of Marc (recognizing Khonshu as father) is just ugh

‘It doesn’t fucking snow in Luxor’ was the working title for this. Really it just entertains me that of the three of them, only Jake is comfortable in the snow, Khonshu and Badr would be miserable. 🤣
