Hey plural peeps, reblog this and put in the tags(or reblogs) a song that is meaningful to you and or your system. Or songs, I know a system can usually never have one choice lol.
Music is meaningful to my system and Im interested in seeing what songs we may all have in common.
I'm also thirsty for music recs and I want to spread positive discussions in the wake of the hate proliferating through the plural tags.
Love the house you're in by Moonface is one that always reminded me of system struggles. One of my long time friends who freshly found out they were a system shared it with me during a darker time in my life and it made me bawl my eyes out in a cathartic way.
Hateful people DNI (that means you anti endos)
Remember, there is nobody who knows you better than yourself.
Ok is warrior cats MD too niche or is there an audience for that because im going insane rn I have the names, roles, and colors/cat breeds all planned out for every major character

moonface and whitetooth, my warrior cat OCs for my little warrior cat world
rambling under the cut
MOONFACE: a medicine cat whose predictions are extremely specific, extremely mundane, and extremely accurate. She carries lavender in her fur, mostly for the nice smell of it. Pretty ditzy, not too attached to the warrior code…she‘s more interested in romance. She has a thing for tall, strong she cats. Will definitely use her status to get time with her crush, asking them to escort her to pick herbs and such. Her clan is.....something. The world I have in mind for her and the rest of them is similar to Warrior cats but more dystopian, and takes place in Florida rather than the UK. The clans in the area were almost driven to extinction by fighting each other, until one day they came up with an idea to settle their arguments not through clan wide battles, but a tournament system where each clan picks a champion to fight at their gatherings. The fights are brutal and often to the death since neither cat wants to be responsible for their clan losing whatever is on the line. The champion of Moonface's clan (I've been calling them MangroveClan but I think that's kinda long so idk) is her girlfriend Whitetooth, who I'll introduce soon but know these three things...she has the trauma levels of a circus elephant, their clan leader is using this to manipulate her, and she's an undefeated and truly brutal champion fighter. Moonface loves her more than life itself and definitely more than her clan.
WHITETOOTH: Very well balanced cat whose mother left them to die in a snare trap as a kid. She never really recovered from that but were found by Moonface's mentor and brought back to the clan, where she recovered against the odds and became a truly terrifying and brutal warrior. The rest of the clan actually like her (and fear her) a lot because she destroys anyone who challenges them. She's having her trauma manipulated by the clan leader on that front, who always assigns her to border patrols and front line in every battle. But she truly loves Moonface and Moonface really loves her, and in her mind that's all that really matters. She doesn't really care about any of the other clan members despite being willing to kill to protect them. They keep their distance from her because she's always covered in blood and sticks and stuff, but Moonface has seen way worse.
I just watched Anything Goes for the first time (a recently posted bootleg with the great sutton foster) and I was not prepared for the marvelously unhinged masterpiece that it was
I think Cole Porter really just wanted to write a musical consisting entirely of dance breaks for a brilliant and hilarious character but then he realized he needed a plot so he made a quick love triangle around her except she was the only interesting character in this triangle
Then he was like what we really need on this boat are a couple of gangsters so in comes moonface marvin and his slutty little sidekick who doesn't listen to a word he says, and he has the aforementioned gangster sing a song about a bluebird while making some extremely talented lights person make a spotlight sit in his hand
And then he writes a song with the two interesting characters (no they're not the main characters no not at all how can they be they're not in love) sing a song about being friends but they end up arguing and breaking the fourth wall to the extent of interacting with the pit conductor (are there any other musicals that do this? Falsettos does by having the 'band' wave at the audience but that's all I can think of)
And then he was like shoot I gotta wrap this up let's just have everyone get married so we end with a triumphant triple wedding and reno sweeney and Lord Evie sing "iT's DeLiCiOuS like the charming little weirdos they are
I HAVE ACCEPTED IT AND I FORGIVE YOU I AM THIS MONSTER AND THIS MAZE AND IN THIS WAY I'LL LIVE FOREVER YOU'LL NEVER KNOW ME NONE OF YOU WILL EVER SEE MY FACE NO MATTER HOW MUCH WE LONG TO FACE THE UNKNOWN AND THAT'S OK
