Sorry not sorry but shang tsung is my blorbo and i don't wanna share him anymore.

Because i don't trust people to do him right. Plus i just don't really wanna share this particular character.

Like i just don't feel like anyone could write him the way that i envision the character.

And pay respects the way the character deserves.

Both canon and fans alike just miss the entire point of shang tsung.

And it sucks. I can't gush about my blorbo here without people being nails on chalkboard aggravating about him.

Like it turned from "nah shang tsung wouldn't say or do that" to "nah that's not even shang tsung bro,do we even like the same things?! Like are you even into the character or only the fucking tumblr brand version?!"

Like it bothers me.

So that's why for shang tsung. I'm not sharing anymore. So no more x readers from me. Only self ship stuff that's personal.

You can ask or I'll write anyone else from mortal kombat if you want. But i can't share shang anymore. He's off limits now.

RP PET PEEVES / DEALBREAKERS : depends on the day tbqh, somedays i'm lenient, somedays every little slight against patience irks me - but my exposure to these things is limited because i don't tend to follow people that: stir in negativity / interact with anon hate / over-format their posts / don't cut replies / linger on the superficial aspects of muse interactions / demean my muses and their agency.

MUSE PREFERENCES : monsters / the people left behind / hope against odds / apathy vs rage / persisting, even so

PLOTS OR MEMES : plotted threads for drawn out roleplays, memes for a quick back and forth where we develop our muses relationship or as a quick pick me up / something to write when I dont have the brain/time for a proper reply.

LONG OR SHORT REPLIES : an average of around 3-5 paragraphs at least, though there are outliers. i feel like my writing is a little stilted sometimes, so i try to compensate with scenery dressing and an insight into the muse's thoughts.

BEST TIME TO WRITE : when I'm busy and can't write, obviously. but seriously, having the focus for it is the hardest part for me - other than that, I can write pretty much anywhere, even if it's just me pre-writing on my phone or plotting out what happens next in discord dms.

ARE YOU LIKE YOUR MUSE(S) : something something insert text about the human experience and how we are all capable of acts of great compassion and great violence — there's facets of me in every character i write, but i wouldn't say i'm like any of them in specific. i just latch onto pain and misery because it's something i know well, what can i say.

Name(s): Ddddd, D, D⁵, anything like that... My elder sibling tends to call me DD on here, and a friend usually says 5Ds, so I'm pretty flexible with it.

Pronouns: I'm cool with any, really; most commonly called he/him, though.

Age: 18, first got Tumblr late into 17.

Interests: ...It's mostly just fighting games, lol. I first got into the genre from Street Fighter, which is also the one I'm most familiar with story-wise, but I'm pretty knowledgeable on other series' as well - my personal favourite fighting game is Dead or Alive 4. I also have an interest in Pokémon (not as much as I used to be, I know pretty much nothing about anything beyond Gen. 7.), and I listen to a lot of K-pop, but I'm not really in the fandom for that.

Focus: I started this blog to share my sprite art - I pretty much exclusively work in the style of SNK's Neo Geo Pocket fighting games, although I experiment with other styles occasionally. This is also where I post about and share my M.U.G.E.N. creations; I'm still very new to making stuff there, but I can only improve with time! You can find all of my currently public creations here.

Hi there! This is the ACRoleplay sideblog of From Ashes We Rise Up Hidden Ones. This side blog does RP for Assassin's Creed, God of War, Mortal Kombat, Star Wars and MLPFIM. Dragon Age as well.

I tend to rp Desmond Miles, usually him surviving dying by being flung to another plane of existence, the past, or someone from the past changing things for the better. I also play a decent Mimir from God of War. Mortal Kombat tends to be an OC I have had since the studio was called Midway. I prefer a Mandlorian when it comes to Star Wars.
