Rant on Kestrel and Kestrel Apologists:
TW: Child abuse, Abuse Apologism, and angry controversial ranting.
Kestrel is one of the most easily hateable characters and is a IRREDEEMABLE dragon.
She is literally a CHILD ABUSER. She physically and verbally ABUSED the DoD. She also let and even used her strong>weak favoritism, racism, and ableism from her strong>weak mindset towards Sunny affect the way she abused the DoD.
She also literally abused the DoD since they were TODDLERS, which is revealed within the book Dragonslayer, since Sky, who was around 1 year old - who’s currently eight years old - saw Kestrel HIT the DOD because they were playing, like any child would do, with Glory showing signs that Kestrel was abusing her the most - who are currently now 7. This means that she started to abuse the DOD where they LESS THAN 1 years old - just as, or even younger than the currently age of CLIFF, who’s nine months old!
🔥There is literal PROOF that Kestrel physically and verbally abused the DoD on the wiki AND within the books.🔥
I also want to remind people that in the prologue of The Dragonet Prophecy, when the Skywing egg died, instead of suggesting to give the remaining eggs to dragons within the Talons of Peace that actually want to be parents and/or raise the dragonets themselves - she literally wanted SMASH the DoD eggs - KILLING them instead!!
And within the prologue of TDP as well, she stated that she literally didn’t care how she affected the dragonets, as long as she raised them to be within the prophecy.
Kestrel NEVER cared for the DoD. She CHOSE to abuse them. The only reason why she tried to save them from Scarlet and appeared to Morrowseer in the epilogue was because it was her JOB. Nothing else, especially since she stated HERSELF somewhere within a main part of the first book that she literally didn’t care about them.
So when I see the majority of the fandom - or at the very least, the fandom on Youtube and some parts of the WoF wiki - is sympathizing over hating Kestrel, I honestly don’t get or like it at all, what-so-ever.
And when I hear some people say things about Kestrel that are somewhat similar to THIS:
“Yes, she abused those kids, but it was because she was grieving the death of her own kids!”
“She did abuse them, but she was just doing so because of the death of her children.”
or even
“She wasn’t abusing them, it was a form of tough love!”
It makes my literal blood BOIL.
Because while defending a fictional character’s abusive actions is much, MUCH different than defending abusive actions of a person in real life - let alone child abuse -
Defending actions like these is still indirectly connected, regardless whether it is fictional or not, due to the fact that child abuse is a literal thing happens to people in Real. Fucking. Life. Like - to this very damn day. Especially since these excuses towards child abuse like this are even used to excuse real people literally being or was abused as kids as well.
Grief is NOT an excuse to abuse literal children. NOTHING IS!!! Abuse is a CHOICE - regardless of how people were raised, or even by how mentally impaired they are. It explains it, but does NOT excuse it. EVER.
There are literal dragons within Wings of Fire - and literal people IRL even - who suffered through MORE grief and/or trauma in the past than Kestrel, that, despite it, we’re still better dragons in the end. Like GILL, for example, who lost not one, not two, but TWELVE of his daughters. And despite this, he was STILL a good dragon who cared a LOT about his subjects and sons, and tried his best to stop the literal war that happening within pyrrhia - in order for ALL dragons to live in peace - and even created a protest within Scarlet’s arena in order for EVERYONE to NOT be forced to battle each other to death for a horrible and iconic villain for her own joy and amusement.
*Sigh* I am SO sorry for making this angry, probably hateful, and VERY long rant. This was something that was bothering me for MONTHS on end, and wanted to let it out so people can know my view about Kestrel and the way she’s treated within the fandom, although this is probably a improper and bad way to do it.
I am NOT saying people shouldn’t like Kestrel as a character, or even as a dragon, for how awful she is. I’m also NOT saying people shouldn’t feel bad for what happened her either, because what did happen to her, was, indeed, downright AWFUL. Feeling things like this about her is ok!
However, it’s one thing to like a character for how awful they are and feeling bad for what happened them-
than literally EXCUSING and even JUSTIFYING her literal abuse towards literal dragon CHILDREN because of how bad you feel about and/or how intensely you sympathize her.
So yeah - In conclusion: Kestrel one of the most easily hateable characters and is an irredeemable child abuser, who physically and verbally abused the DoD since they were the age of toddlers. She also never cared for them, and only attempted to save them because it was her job. People also shouldn’t justify or excuse Kestrel’s behavior as well, since it unintentionally and/or indirectly defends the same type of abuse that is currently affecting people IRL. And while yes, you can like her character and feel bad for her, you should NOT justify her actions towards the DOD at all. WHAT-SO-EVER.

I know i was pretty late but eeeeeee
Now Ive gone back and a while to see PEOPLE who give hate on aster for havin a thing to three.
(Please stop this act it's annoying)
I get how much people would send hate on a FICTIONAL character's appearance right after they got into Three. (Gate keeping is a big no no please do understand that shay and bringx put effort on giving them some ingredients for the characteristics to build their character)
And I know you guys like the gay indigo boyfriends together- and aster is an antagonist that would be the one to hit on Three.
(Ive seen tag6 mentioned by aly and bringx)
PLEASE NOTE THAT YES. TAG6 AND ASTER ARE BOTH DIFFERENT.
regardless between aster liking three and people to be sending hates for them- Tag6 would literally drop an F-bomb.
Aster and Tag6 both have the same purpose into dragging the protagonists with out main gay boys (aka three with Aster and four with Tag6)
Aster and Tag6 may have the same role to lead, but they are both DIFFERENT.
I am way more mad than ever- I'd expect people would also send hates to tag6 but NO ONE CAME BUDGING IN, INSTEAD THEY ALL GOT ATTENTION TO ASTER.
How come other people send hates towards them while Tag6 is atleast the most cold and die path- a PSYCHO who would literally kill and bite your head off for breakfast.
Aster is something else. So STOP PRESSING THE H BUTTON JUST BECAUSE OF IT!!!
As much as i'd be preferring to stay silent- I rather TALK.
(You guys think Tag6 is less hateable of a character because aster is here? Look- me and shay both created two beautiful characters to ruin both of the dude's life in just the opposite. So why?)
(You guys gotta touch some grass or leave those screens you've been staring on- yall watched too much)

Mistborn: Well of Ascension Review
Is It Good: Yes
Does It Have Flaws: A lot
Is It Problematic: Sometimes
Would You Reread: No
Would You Recommend: Yes
Spoilers below
I’ve listened to positive and negative reviews of this book to help formulate my thoughts
So overall, I think there’s a great book buried underneath a slog of really repetitive material.
Brandon is great at writing a mystery, but it’s hindered by the fact that we get incredibly uninteresting scenes that just have Elend, Vin, Zane doing the same song and dance over and over again.
I was 200% more invested in Sazed investigating the Hero of Ages compared to the political drama Elend and Vin dealt with. Or Vin dealing with “wanting to wear a dress” (more on that later).
I really love how Eldritch and Sinister the cosmology is, even as I knew from Stormlight Archives what it would be. It’s handled far more horrific here in a good way compared to Stormlight, which was a letdown imo, so this was enjoyable.
I also really love Sazed’s magical abilities. Allomancy is neat, but the story points out that Mistborn are just.. so powerful they make other Allomancers feel pointless, worldbuilding wise. But Sazed’s powers are more limited while also being far more interesting in applications, so I loved that we got to see that more in depth.
Most of the characters are good, and enjoyable, even Breeze.
Now for the bad.
Breeze and Allrianne relationship is just… disgusting. I really don’t understand the purpose of having a near 40 year old man having sex with a barely legal woman who just recently turned legal iirc. Why was this added as a story beat? Why are some of the characters that aren’t Vin and OreSeur not more grossed out by it?
And no, having the “she seduces me!” reveal does not help.
Secondly, none of the antagonists are good. Sure, they are hateable, but they all lack any sort of impact. Zane is the worst because he is quite possibly the most cookie-cutter CW Bad Boy stereotype in existence, monologuing like a bad anime character about how “we are different”/“why do we listen to them?”/“they just don’t understand us” ala Lysanderoth. And he dies from the worst “reveal” I’ve ever seen; it was so cool how Vin used pewter dust to blind the Inquisitors and improvised weaponry to bypass the skill gap. Here it’s just: “Lmao I just wait to attack bypass your precog, get good”, which I’m pretty sure does not track at all with what we see in the first book (or this one).
Despite Lord Ruler having little presence in the first book, he at least had PRESENCE
Finally, the way this book handles women and skaa is just so odd. It feels as if the story/characters/Brandon treat women as having a hive mind for being obsessed with fashion; in fact, it’s part of Vins struggle that she loves dresses but can’t find the “strength” to wear them. Meanwhile, no male character obsessed over fashion nearly as much, even Breeze who admits part of his design is an act for others. Likewise, there’s no woman who thinks fashion is stupid or just indifferent.
I don’t hate the idea of Vin struggling with newfound femininity vs her own biases, but it’s just so blandly set up that I can’t feel invested.
And I will lose my damned mind if I have to hear one more “you can never understand a woman”/“teenage girls aren’t rational” comment, even from other women characters!
Also, besides Tyndl and Vin, there aren’t any really any women in power nor is that explored. Even Allrianne - who is just… meh as a character over all - has no political power without her father and she’s basically a femme fatale cliche as well. None of the Skaa have female leaders, for example.
And speaking of Skaa, those poor guys. Going from brave freedom fighters and rebellions, even prior to Kelsier, to idiots who are treated as fools who need the privileged Elend and his like to guide them all to the right answer (or they become manipulated or are in fact corrupt). I don’t even hate Elend, but the way Brandon puts him in this position is just such a shame. The story doesn’t even let him explore his ingrained classism or racism/specism for the Skaa or Kandra
Like I said, there’s a great book under all this stuff. But it’s pulled down by - in my opinion - a lot of faults that verge on problematic.
Good but it could be better

When Zeke stans accuse people of only hating him because he killed Erwin… I can’t. Like Erwin is my most favorite character, and Pieck played a hand in his death but I actually really like Pieck as well. The difference is Pieck isn’t a sadist and would never actually betray her comrades. Meanwhile Zeke’s out here calling Falco and Gabi who look up to him as mere “miscalculations”.
Look, I can understand a love for villains all day. Hell, Tom Riddle is my fave character in Harry Potter lol, but I know full well that it would be silly on my part to ask why Voldemort himself would deserve hate 😭. And at least Voldemort doesn’t hide behind pretending to “save” people and would never deny his own evil. I relate to Zeke’s childhood and I have antinatalist opinions myself, and yet he’s soooo hateable. What is it that makes him so hateable??! 🔪🔪🔪🔪🔪 like he comes up on my screen and I get all stabby ifjfjdjfjf.
His fanboys who only see and fall for his sad childhood and not the rest of his actions that have absolutely no excuse or explanation just rile me up. They even go as far as to saying the Japanese fandom have bad taste and can’t appreciate “complex” characters like they do just because he ranks low in popularity polls there. Not only is that pretentious but racist as hell. They get so mad when their Historia waifu and Zeke manchild consistently rank low. They can’t cope with people just having different tastes that they have to tell themselves that it’s because Japanese audiences are dumb. Meanwhile they’re obsessing over a story written by a Japanese man. Help me make sense of it lmaooo.
lol, you tell me, because I seriously can't understand the sympathy Zeke gets. And yeah, that really IS racist as hell, implying or just flat out accusing Japanese audiences of having "bad taste" or being unable to understand "complex characters" just because Zeke isn't popular. Like, I'm sorry, but Zeke isn't even all that complex, either. He's a standard, run-of-the-mill narcissist with antisocial personality disorder. He's a total asshole.
It's fine to like him, but don't try and excuse his inexcusable behavior. There's no excuse for his deliberate cruelty. There's no excuse for the way he treats people like they're tool that only exist for his personal use. There's no excuse for his belief that he has the right to take other people's agency away, and decide for them whether their lives are worth living or not. Nothing in his childhood explains away or excuses ANY of that.
There's innumerable reasons, legitimate reasons, for hating Zeke that have nothing to do with him killing Erwin, and if his fans don't want to acknowledge that, then that's their problem, not anyone else'.
Zeke's just a terrible person, and his childhood didn't make him that way. He was just born like that. You can still be a fan of his while acknowledging that reality.

Sorry I hope this ask is okay but. I've been looking through your sadistic beauty posts because I am also a minho stan, and I had some thoughts which are kind of rambly. Firstly, I think that Duna *is* happy and loved, which is what makes me so fucking mad. She's a manipulative rapist and just so fucking awful, so why does she get a happy ending while Minho is turned into a sex slave? Literally keeps me up at night 1/
Secondly, people don’t really say a lot about Haesol and I think he was cute and likable UNTIL he met Minho and was like “you just can’t keep her satisfied sexually :)” while she was literally raping Minho every damn day. And then that scene where he sticks out his tongue while he fucks Duna in front of Minho while Minho is sobbing and pleading with her… Psychopath behavior. I know Haesol probably has an impression of Minho as an obsessive, violent, and abusive ex-boyfriend who deserves to be hurt but he literally has no idea the trauma Minho has gone through, and inflicted on him by the girl Haesol loves even! And yet he’s so obsessed with her that he’d probably excuse it even if he found out. Anyway, Haesol was like, one of the least hateable characters in the manhwa until that point and now I hate his guts but I do feel kind of bad about it 2/2
✿✿✿✿✿✿✿✿✿✿✿✿✿✿✿✿✿✿✿✿✿✿✿✿
TW: r*pe, alc*hol, sm*king, ab*use
Duna isn't happy. A happy person doesn't drink and smoke like that. She's still a sad pathetic sack, unable to commit to the person that claims to "love" her cause subconsciously she's still not over Minho. 117 chapters still failed to give her any ounce character growth. Did she face any legal consequences of her disgusting actions? No. But is she happy? Also no. Is she loved? By haysool but I'd not feel flattered to be loved by someone like haesol. Gyrien left her cause she saw through her bs. Minho also finally got over her in a healthy way (the person she actually wanted to be loved by). She's still unsure if she could love haesol back, I doubt she'd ever be able to do so. Her and heasol's relationship is far from healthy.
I liked haesol at first but he lost my adoration for him when he continued to persue Duna despite her saying no. He doesn't respect boundaries like at all. He's obsessive and creepy in many ways but his cutesy behavior makes reader forget about his creepy actions. He's very similar to Wookyung. Both are innocent looking but very creepy.
I laughed at the scene where he retorted back to Minho about not being able to keep her satisfied. I mean bro, you couldn't do that either by your logic. She still sought out Gyrien, Minho, Wookyung while she was banging you. When Minho professed his love for her, she literally ignored your ass, until wookyung managed to break them apart. She was still surprised to find Minho leaving her house. She looked shocked.
I started hating haesol when he helped duna torment Minho and showed his tongue at him as if it was something cute. 🙄
Haesol and Wookyung are creepily alike in many situations. Both are obsessed with one person, doesn't respect boundaries, act innocent but can be devious. I really hate two faced characters like this.
Also fun fact, Wookyung also got attached to his first partner who taught him BDSM but his partner didn't return the feelings, just like haesol got attached to duna without his feelings getting returned. Haesol is a psychopath in the making. I'm pretty sure he'd end up like wookyung and would get obsessed with another person after getting dumped by duna and do the things to his victim like wookyung did to Minho. But he wouldn't get away with his actions cause unlike wookyung, haesol isn't wealthy.
Haesol is the most boring character in SB and I've seen people saying he's very forgettable. Some couldn't even remember his name lol
Anyways, this story doesn't have a happy ending for anyone. Duna is going to be a miserable alcoholic and smoker and end up with liver and lungs problems with her current lifestyle. Haesol is a doormat who'd get what he deserves. Minho will be miserable with Wookyung unless and Wookyung would be miserable too cause Minho wouldn't be able to love him the way he wants.
But I only care about Minho's happiness. Who knows maybe in future he'd become more independent and will be able to getaway from his captor/rapist. One can only hope.

I find it fascinating (if a little annoying) how people manage to find complex readings of P03 in the fandom, but not the other Scrybes as much. I'm not sure if anyone *still* does it, but I have seen plenty of rants about it from closer to release. Like it was probably an early fandom initial impressions thing, but it's still not any less bizarre to me.
The guy's designed to be the most hateable of the Scrybes along with maybe Magnificus. He spends the whole of act 1 insulting you (admittedly cute and funny as a Stoat), but everything after that is him being That One Really Obnoxious Kind of Gamer. You know. The one that thinks your plays are always terrible, thinks they lose only because of RNG, and refuses to engage with a game's story or meaning at all. Perhaps it's because people here run in different circles, but this should immediately read as loser asshole behaviour if you've ever seen video game *discourse* at any point in your life. That's the guy's main character trait. He wants to spread Inscryption and always be the ruling Scrybe.
The uberbots always read more to me what he thought of the other Scrybes - not their own characters. Leshy's gameplay mechanics sound cool but are easily cheesed and he always speaks with weird, mysterious dialogue (which P03 cannot fucking write at all). Magnificus has stupid fucking rules that make the game near unplayable and is literally unfinished. Grimora is absurdly cheery for a character themed around death that's willing to destroy an entire world and your actual harddrive.
I've seen people make trans headcanons via G0lly being refered to as she/her while P03's strictly he/it. That's the one thing I kinda get - I went through a 'feelings cringe, video game mechanics based' phase when I was first figuring things out myself. I think that'd be interesting to explore in fanworks, though I've not seen it yet. You'd have to be careful with the implications of canon there, also.
I think the reason G0lly is like that though is because she's more of Daniel Mullins' own reflection on the fact he likes to throw in 4th wall breaking elements, though. That it's kind of goofy and not tonally or narratively consistent with act 3.
(honestly writing that out now I think G0lly doesn't really have great implications but like. I'm not unpacking that at 4am)
I don't really know where I'm going with this. It's just strange to see people outside of like. longelk. work the most on one of the simplest and most complete characters in the game. Is it because he's a robot that's square shaped and that aesthetic is cool?
Would love to hear any P03 likers' opinions on this. To clarify, I like him quite a lot, it's just the fan perception I don't get.

The Magical Turnabout: Cleared!
Whoo! I haven't had a shot of the old AA charm in a while, but something about Case 6-2 clicked for me in that front! I suppose I should go through the old bullet points then, shall I? Let's do this!
(Cutting this off here because GOOD GRIEF are there a lot of thinks about this case)
TRUCYYYYYYYY! I'm so sorry for what DD has done to you, but I really liked her and Apollo here! Who knew that giving your character a stake in the plot and room to breathe actually makes them an interesting person to watch and root for? The legacy of the Gramaryes weighing on her shoulders, her dedication to her magic, her wonderful bond with Apollo... it all shines through, giving me a lot more to grab on to emotionally than in the prior game. In Trucy We Trust!
APOLLO JUSTICE IS DOING FINE! He's got something of a legacy to hold up himself, being the only one alongside Athena to hold the fort while Wright's away. And they were under serious attack, too - losing out on the office and a dear friend & daughter of Wright is a hefty thing to deal with. And yes, he's as jaded and snarky as he ever has been.
Athena's here. That's pretty cool. I'm not going to complain much about her not getting too much here, since this isn't really her story. She's still a god-damn riot and keeps up a charming dynamic with Apollo, and her righteous indignation at Retinz's shenanigans is pretty cathartic.
Ema gets a nice look here too! Showing her in a much happier tune after achieving her dream job - a little reminiscent of her younger years - while still keeping the snide built up from AJ. I do like the conflict of interest her with Trucy on the line. Seems detectives can't go a trilogy without someone they actually like being put in the slammer, but it's a nice crumb.
Case 2-3 was pretty fun in how it faked a magic trick to hide the real murder, but a lot problems got in the way of fully appreciating it. This doesn't have nearly the same issues and manages to make use of the inherent mysteries and mechanics of the magic tricks performed to its advantage. Even the main villain had a grander illusion to unravel at the very end - that being the mystery of how the victim truly perished. It was fun following along & seeing the show behind-the-scenes!
Bonny & Betty are fine. Both are sympathetic enough being admirers tricked into being accomplices in muder. Betty in particular seems scorned to all get-out, having to pretend to be the other for so long. Bonny has to deal with self-esteem issues and a slightly controlling twin sister. I liked them!
Roger. Motherfucking. Retinz. The man's got intelligence up the wazoo but that's about the only admirable trait I can assign to him. This man is easily the most despisable AA villain I've seen in a long time - not counting ones that are hateable due to bad writing, Dual Destinies - who almost managed to get one last cut in on Trucy before he vanished for good. He doesn't make his grudge a secret and his actions - both in setting up his schemes and his general behaviour - make him one awful son of a bitch. A mistrusting, dishonest, egocentric magician who stands in stark contrast to Trucy. Pretty dang good for a one-off villain!
Now then... you're probably wondering what I think of Nahyuta Sahdmadhi. While I'm not going to make sweeping judgements until I see the whole story, I do have some thoughts. Just bare with me.
Khura'in is a country that hasn't seen a Not Guilty verdict in over 20 years. Nahyuta didn't oversee Phoenix's first trial there and the next has yet to come. They have a poor opinion of defense attorneys and a deeply religious reason to want justice for the victim in order to bring them peace. Nahyuta is an asshole. I will make no illusions to the contrary. He is the product of a country that has - at this point - not had any reason to believe the accused isn't the culprit. It's probably not a fair system at all; Manfred's perfect record didn't come about by playing fair, after all. But that's the environment Nahyuta practices and was likely raised in as well. He's got good reason to be an insufferable prat at this point and it's clear we haven't seen the full extent of his character. His cultrue may have largely informed this side of him, but I do enjoy him being in conflict with Ema over indicting someone she knows and cares about. Ones duty taking priority over ones emotions seems like a hint at something... tragic. This is a man who's probably had to push similar feelings down and is well practiced in that, to the point where he's completely shut-off from someone he used to know. We have seen, however, that he is very open to learning about different cultures when the need arises. He went so far as to wait an hour to sample something as simple to L.A. as a burger - enough to be able to recommend a particular flavour. He's researched television programs, social customs, and is even willing to admit that cultrual differences means he might not carry things out as expected. It's one of the more charming parts of his character and I really do enjoy it.
His connection to Apollo... I don't really know what to say at this point. It feels like he occupies an odd middle-ground between Edgeworth and Simon in their debuts. Edgeworth because he actually bothers to talk with Apollo in the lobby, Simon because he's so closed-off that nothing really comes of that. I get what they're doing here - telling us that the prosecutor is someone from the attorney's past and telling us they used to be different - though it's missing something from Phoenix's and Edgeworth's spat in Case 1-2 that gave that scene more to chew on.
Frankly, I think I'll have to check out the rest of SoJ just to figure out if I like the guy or not. Dual Destinies - for as many mistakes it made at the end - did manage to get me to give a hoot about Simon, so maybe SoJ can do something nice with this guy. I've heard the contrary enough times to be cautious but I can't let outside opinion and heresay sway me on these things. Not anymore, at any rate. As before, I want to be damn sure my feelings are my own.
But first! Case 6-4. I've heard many a divisive thing about it - from the wonderful cast to the unfortunate treatment of its leading lady. I'll let you know what side of the coin I land on when I get to the end there.
Until next time! In justice we trust!

Closing thoughts on Tokyo Mew Mew New s2
This turned out to be about what I expected, not spectacular but still reasonably enjoyable.
Tumblr media
In the end the message feels kind of hollow, like environmental destruction is a real issue and the main solution being that this one teenager says "umm surely we'll figure this out somehow" didn't feel sufficient. But to be fair what else is there than enough people wanting to change things for the better? So I can't really fault the show for its optimistic message, though I don't think Ichigo as a character had enough going for her for that to work. Minto at least was actively working on clean energy solutions, while so much of Ichigo's story was focused on the romance where the environmental themes sometimes felt more like a stepping stone.
When it comes to Minto and Retasu I was very happy with their expanded roles and it's always nice when other characters beside the heroine get to have important unique connections to the theme and the plot. Meanwhile Purin and especially Zakuro felt pretty pointless, I didn't expect much from Purin to begin with but Zakuro getting so little to do was a surprise. On the boys front the most interesting thing to me is still on how much the appreciation for Masaya has grown in the fandom, now everyone is like 30 and just wants a Good Man. He was less interesting to me in this season than in the first one though because I really don't care for the Blue Knight/Deep Blue stuff. Quiche had a decent character arc.
Despite all the complaints I still think the TMM reboot was worthwhile, it felt like it had its heart in the right place and no character was hateable. And there's a severe lack of magical girl shows that aren't toy ads, edgy or parodies, that helps too.
Finally I had some vague memories on the manga ending with a cringe mock wedding for Ichigo and Masaya and I was glad that they left that out from the new anime. Though it loses points for not having a Berry cameo.

I was tagged by @everyeternity and finally got around to trying this! :D
Last song I Listened to
10 hour loop of the stickbug song. This of course is the last song I *actively* listened to, as opposed to the radio which I keep on all the time because if I don't I'll become paranoid of every little sound in the house.
Currently watching
Series wise? Frieren, At journey's end. Non-series? Slowly working my way through a bunch of things, but especially a video about Lisa Frank scamming people.
Spicy/sweet/savory
Oh god I genuinely cannot choose. Like, I am a medium on the spice tolerance, but I LOVE foods with a bit of bite, including my fave pan-fried chicken recipe. But ALSO I'm a big fan of sweet things, like juice and mini-donuts. However, savoury stuff is *so* fluffin' good.
Current Obsessions
Dungeon Dreams! It's a fun game made in RPG Maker, and it's a sort of spiritual successor to a game called Azure Dreams. I REALLY like it. There's so many good things, and it's balanced well, and there's a real sense of progression.
There's a ton of small things to do here and there, but it's not like, 'collect 1,000 seeds we shoved up the asses of random squirrels' shit. It's like little sub-plots and mini plots, and a couple of minigames which can unlock even MORE sub plots.
There are over a dozen recruitable characters, and many characters have their own relationships with each other, and you can even influence them such that they get married in several cases. The characters are all very different and most of them stand out quite a bit from one another - and I'm pretty sure that those that *don't* stand out to me simply haven't been interacted with enough by me to get to the good stuff.
There is a really hateable antagonist, but he's not the villain, and while I do think he's a bad person, he's far from irredeemable. Which like, don't get me wrong, I don't need my antagonists to be redeemable, I just think it's a very delicate balancing act to make a character that's rightfully hated, but who can redeem themself by simply being decent to people.
There's a LOT of nuanced writing, in fact. I'd say most of it isn't super-nuanced, but there's still a good amount. And while sometimes the dialogue options can be a little "huh?" they give you a pretty decent sense of agency, and more than a few of the dialogue options give different outcomes.
Relationship Status
Single, NOT looking to mingle! I'm happily living with my equally as ace, slightly more aro platonic life partner who is one of my best friends.
Fav color
I genuinely cannot pick. Since I really got into art my love of colour has flourished. I started out with just one colour here and there, which changed regualrly, then it would be combos - like brown and turqoise, and orange and green - and then it would be whole palettes. And honestly I just CANNOT choose XD
Tagging @raichana and @jabbloo! I think @thanatoastburnsbread is also here? :D

I'll bite how do You plan To endear teh character that for some is the most hateable (patience)
I do trust in your ability so i'm rether curious
im expanding on some of her implied traits and making her have to come to terms with her own issues!
in short, patience comes off as somebody whos actually very clingy and almost insecure. she takes rejection from friends pretty personally and becomes listless and depressed during the elements arc. these are traits i like a lot and wanted to expand upon, because when i was a kid i really loved patience.
i also wanted to get some utility out of her, so her biz is getting an arc between elements and the gum war. itll help me get betty and simons prismo wishes off the table and ill be using it to resolve bettys conflicts with pb, as well as further address bettys relapse into bad habits in stakes. plus, itll be a nice adventure for betty and ice king.
basically, patience uses her wish from prismo to create a reality where the other elements agreed to get in the time capsule with her. like many prismo wishes, it ends up in abject misery, and betty is able to have a moment of compassion for her, seeing a lot of her own self-destructive behaviors in patience… a reflection in a funhouse mirror, if you will. so she uses her wish to enter patiences new reality and confront her. ice king uses his to follow.
the point is to drag patience all the way to rock bottom. theres nowhere left to run away from her problems. because the only way this woman would ever sit down and actually talk about her issues is if theres no place left to hide from them.
pb uses her wish to get them out in the end, finally accepting the olive branch bettys been offering for a long time.
patience does not get off scott free. pb forgives but does not forget, and while she accepts patiences help in the war, shes at most simply polite around patience. marceline doesnt forgive her, flat out, and avoids her as best she can. redemption isnt just realizing you have problems, its working on them, so patience becomes a supporting character, traveling a lot to see the world and improve herself and her own issues. she and betty are friends, but usually only talk over the phone, since marcy really does not like her.
also she stays funny and deranged. its like her best traits shes so good for levity.

one of my pet peeves for modern aus is the ones where they make izzy ed's best friend or longtime friend because if ed's gonna have one... its jack. it's literally supported by canon. like put izzy and jack next to the revenge crew and your answer for who fits in better is jack, whose only crimes in the show were trying to pull ed away from stede and committing seagull murder (all of which to save ed in a plan IZZY made) im so salty about all the hate jack gets in fics
Oh for sure. My least favoriate thing ever is when people put Izzy in another character's position. Jack is Ed's buddy at the very least. Izzy is just a coworker. Jack is who Ed would choose to hang out with 100% of the time if his options are Jack or Izzy. Also if you're gonna give Ed a best friend who is antagonistic to his new boyfriend, Stede and Jack being mean to each other is so much more fun in my personal opinion because Stede is mean to Izzy and Izzy's head explodes and steam starts coming out of his ears like he's in a cartoon and he yells something incoherent, where as Jack and Stede can have a bitchy little back and fourth that leaves Jack crying for sympathy and Stede's self esteem buried six feet under. It truly is the dynamic ever.
I don't usually have a problem with Jack hate in fics actually because jack is hateable and there often needs to be a villain, and in Our Flag so far the roster of villains has been Izzy, Jack, and the interchangeable badminton twins. Maybe the rich french fuckers but I don't want to give them that much credit tbh. so you know he's one of three and a half bad guys so I get it. However! there is one trope that frustrates me, and I think the main reason that it frustrates me is because its a trope that I hate with all of my guts and is pernicious in the calicobeard tag and that is the idea that Ed and Jack's relationship was non-consentual. There are tons of reasons to hate him, you don't have to turn him into a rapist. That's my pet peeve and my line. Otherwise yeah he's a villain, good. I like it when he causes problems. It's my favorite thing.
That being said I do think he's the most easily rehabilitated villain out of every villain in ofmd (I'm only counting Nigel, Chauncey, Izzy, and Jack as villains.) Simply because he's a pirate that we frankly don't actually know that much about. We don't even know why he's doing this. Yeah Izzy probably slid him a slice of that sweet sweet navy money under the table, but for all we know Izzy had that meeting with Jackie and Chauncey, found Jack afterwards and went "Hey man, so me and Blackbeard are on the outs right now and he's got this new boyfriend who is being super hunted by the British navy, the boyfriend is a rich guy and I know how much you hate those. But anyway Blackbeard doesn't know that Stede is being hunted and I just told them where they can find them so somebody should probably go get Blackbeard out of there and it shouldn't be me, because he's mad at me right now." and Jack said "Oh my god, you made a deal with the british navy? I'm gonna love watching Blackbeard kick your ass when I bring him back here. I'm going to now go do some insane shit to save his life again. Yeah sure I'll make sure the boyfriend dies just so that Beardy doesn't run back and get his ass killed, but only if you slide me a few dubbies for my troubles." It's also possible that he's full chaotic evil joker mode and when Izzy told him the plan he went "Yeah alright, haven't seen Beardy in a while could be funny." We simply do not know. Is he destitute because he's been mutinied three times and he needs the money? Has he never been mutinied in his entire life and he's minted because he's Calico fucking Jack and he's just here for shits and giggles? I tend to go with the "he cares about Ed" reading because I want to fuck him, but it's up to you. His backstory is wide open baby. What we do know Ed likes him a lot actually, Ed cares about him and Stede getting along. We know he saved Ed's life, even if he does hold it over his head because he's a shit head(although how often he does that is also a question mark, there's so much blank space to work with with him, he can be anything you want him to be other than nice).
And you know what, until the thing with Karl the crew liked him too. The crew never liked Izzy, whatever Jack's got going on is way more compatible with the crew than Izzy, and yet I see all these fics and headcanons where the idea that Izzy will stick around after all of this is over is just taken for granted. But they could easily forgive Jack if he sucked Ed's dick, moonbathed with Buttons, and slid Olivia some birdseed because he's funny and cool and Ed's buddy. Where as Izzy can never ever be trusted in a million years, he was never fun to be around, and no one likes him. (I'm sure Jack and Ed have fucked each other over before, they're messy bitches.)
Now I don't think Jack's getting rehabilitated in cannon, in fact we're probably never gonna see him again. I'm hoping for a flashback but I won't hold my breath. It's part of why I'm writing I'm Not Going Anywhere. Because somebody needs to put this man through the st*ddyhands treatment and it's not gonna happen in the show, so it is the realm of fanfiction and no one else is doing it. Jack was fucking built for an enemies to lovers because he's the kind of man who stands too close to his romantic rival at the urinals to prove his dick is bigger. Enemies to lovers is incredibly fun to do with Jack and Izzy because Izzy is eminently bullyable and also the kind of guy belongs in one of those "don't bully me I'll cum" shirts, but it can also be fun to do with Stede "pissboots" Bonnet. I'm not sure if INGA is going that direction I haven't decided yet, but someone should do it post haste I'm so serious.
I don't necessarily want everyone to see him how I see him. I'm fine with being his only apologist. back in april the universe decided he'd gone long enough being the most hated character and decided he needed one apologist and it spun the wheel of OFMD fans and it landed on me and I became the public defender appointed to him. I am over worked and underpaid and he is a terrible client. I have made him take a plea deal on the Karl murder charge.
This has gotten unhinged thank you for letting me chew on Calico jack for like 25 minutes.

001: The Originals 👀
Thanks sm for asking!
Favorite character: Hard to choose because i love so many of them. I feel like every time I watch it I end up with a new favorite. The first time I watched the show I was an Elijah girlie (all that class and poise and honor with brutality and violence rippling just below the surface is so compelling). But overall I think I'd have to go with Marcel, I just find him as a character so fascinating and tragic. He's introduced as a character whose life on the plantation contrasts with the life of opulence the Mikaelsons are living in New Orleans. He's brought out of slavery by them and given everything - money, education, power, influence, status, the finer things in life - but it's ALWAYS contingent on him keeping them happy and doing what they want. Every attempt he makes to free himself ends up backfiring. And despite this he always finds a way to make it work. They leave him to die when they flee New Orleans and he still manages to build a kingdom that even Klaus is envious of when he returns. I also think the way he's caught between being too New Orleans to really be a Mikaelson but also too much a Mikaelson for New Orleans is really interesting.
Least Favorite character: Hmmmm.... it may be the obvious answer to say Mikael, since he is just so hateable. (also don't hate me but I did find Klaus kind of annoying after a while)
5 Favorite ships (canon or non-canon): I actually didn't have much shippy feelings about this show (I also just don't have much shippy feelings in general) - i much prefer familial or platonic dynamics so i'm going to answer that way, with some of my favorite relationships and dynamics but not necessarily romantic or sexual. 1) I was a SUCKER for HayleyxElijah from the very beginning, probably the only romantic ship I really cared about while watching 2) Aya x Elijah in like... a super fucked up way. The centuries of history, resentment, and sexual tension....... The next three are all platonic/familial relationships I love: 3) Camille and Vincent had a really interesting dynamic (also I just think Vincent is severely underrated) 4) Marcel and Davina's father-daughter thing was really sweet and compelling and 5) Klaus and Elijah's relationship was the heart of the show.
Character I find most attractive: They are all so attractive lol. But probably Elijah. Maybe Aya as well.
Character I would marry: Vincent! He is so husband-coded. He's truly one of the most underrated characters on the show.
Character I would be best friends with: Honestly I think it would be fun to be a third in Davina and Josh's friendship. I think they're having more fun than the other characters. (And I love how Davina is so small but so full of rage and we have a lot of shared interests re:music). Or Hayley because I think she needs more female friends lol.
A random thought: We should've had more Aya.
An unpopular opinion: I think it would've been a better ending if all the Mikaelsons had died in the finale. For so many seasons the theme was that despite how long they'd cheated death, all things must eventually die. I think it would have been thematically better - and i LOVE a good and well-written tragedy. I have a longer post about this in my drafts.
My canon OTP: Haylijah
Non-canon OTP: Hayley x Rebekah (listen... this show would've been better with more femslash)
Most badass character: hmmmmm... They kinda all are, but i'm tempted to say Hayley (especially after she becomes a hybrid) or Elijah (there's something about the way he can do that kind of damage and then still look pretty put together that I find VERY badass).
Pairing I am not a fan of: I really did not like marbekah, despite really loving both Marcel and Rebekah. I just didn't like it - I think loving Rebekah is inseparable from Marcel's desire to be part of the Mikaelson family and she's basically his aunt .
Character I feel the writers screwed up (in one way or another): So so so so many (specifically characters of color Julie Plec you will pay for your crimes) but I think Vincent is one of the better examples of this. I think he deserved a better ending than he got. Also Hayley because in the last season she became basically JUST hope's mom and didn't really have anything else going on.
Favourite friendship: Hmmmm... I think Cami had really great friendships with everyone that I enjoyed a lot (Vincent, Hayley, Davina, Marcel) I also think thats just a really interesting group of people - just bunch of people with strong connections to New Orleans or the bayou who are sort of caught up in the Mikaelsons' wake.

RED RISING BOOK 1 CHARACTER TIER LIST + FULL THOUGHTS! >:D
Below is my review of book 1, I'll go into spoilers. After this, I'm either gonna move onto a different book or try to find golden son. Not sure which one will happen.
But yeah, great book, 4 stars, or 8/10! Definitely just set up for things to come in the trilogy, but also a really good setup & story.
PREFACE: This is from the perspective from somebody who DOESN'T read books for fun too often. Red Rising was the first book in a long while I chose to read for fun since Harry Potter in 1st year high school (I didn't even finish the series, I stopped at the start of Half Blood Prince). So you're dealing with one of the most casual guys who went into the series. Another thing: I came into the series thinking it would be similar to Nimona (2023) or Sylas's story from League, since I brought up these two things when I first asked for book recs, so my expectations were HORRIBLY wrong (kind of, sylas's lore is pretty similar and the only difference is that sylas gets STRAIGHT into action but also his characterization sucks). So my perspective is strange, is what I'm saying, and I am far from the most valid person to be seriously reviewing this book. I'm just sharing this for fun lmao :P
I'm just writing the first few things that come to my mind, so stick with me people! These are messy, unfiltered thoughts.
This book is rough, really whumpy at the start of the book, but it's good whump. It's just setting up and establishing what's to come and to make all the payoffs feel better by showing us the insane suffering Darrow goes through. But also? Damn. That was rough. it felt like grimdark (this is coming from the perspective of a guy who actively avoids all things grimdark - with the exception of whump fanfics on ao3).
And then we get into the institution, and I just went, "oh. This is hunger games harry potter." I was a bit disappointed to be honest, I know the book is called "red rising" and it literally means "the slow rise of a red" so he still needs to prepare himself for what's to come, but also... eh?????? Someone in Reddit called this segment "pierce brown kidnapping fans of the hunger games when it was at the peak of its popularity", which ✨️iconic behavior✨️ but I was a bit confused as we took this academy stuff seriously. But slowly, I grew into it when the characters started interacting. I liked it when Darrow was interacting with others since the first half of the book felt so isolating. I liked every single scene Sevro shows up since he brings so much chaos and fun to a story that had so much downtrodden underlying sadness. The chapter 9 reveal is still hitting me, like "damn FUCK THESE GUYS BRO, WHAT DO YOU MEAN THIS PLANET HAS ALREADY BEEN TERRAFORMED???" Also because sevro's fucking awesome, but that's besides the point. The same goes for Darrow's scenes with Virginia and pre-sword fight Cassius, but they aren't as iconic as Sevro.
Darrow is a super compelling protagonist for the story he's in. Making him this power fantasy fulfillment guy makes things feel all the more liberating when he beats the shit out of a guy, it's sort of like a shonen anime protagonist, I guess (i don't watch anime btw). Bro talks about Eo a bit too much though 💀 it got to the point where it got a bit funny, but some moments do hit... before virginia came into the picture as the better love interest since she's girlboss and eo is seraphine from league of legends.
Most of the characters are well written or awesome! The proctors are real loveably hateable pieces of shit I wanted 200 feet below the dirt, and I loved seeing them get beat up. Except you Fitchner, you are iconic, and you gave us Sevro. I love you. Antonia, Cassius & Jackal are just set up here, and it's mildly disappointing? I am super happy the finale ended up being "FUCK THE PROCTORS" but also that stole time away from finishing off the inter-student conflicts. Yeah those will 100% be explored in the rest of the books with more time to do so, but damn :/ the last time we see Antonia, I think she just stands there at a castle to remind us she exists??? Whatever, watching the proctors get shit on was exactly what I needed to want to see more out of this series.
I was a bit disappointed when Darrow ended up being the only red we explore in this book. I was kind of disappointed when Darrow just speaks with a gold accent the entire time, I hope later in the series he speaks like a red again because I have a red bias and hate fancy ass shit. From a book called "red rising", there aren't too many reds after part 2 which I found odd for a revolution story about a red taking control over the system. Titus? Ohoh! FUCK HIM! why did they write him to be this rapist guy, and he just exists to let darrow know he isn't the only fake gold at the institute. I was mildly hoping we would get to see another red-turned-gold team up with darrow as a 100% trustworthy ally since I felt like we needed it after all the loneliness Darrow goes through, but sadly no :(
OH AND THE ACTION SCENES HELL YEAH!!! Reddit wasn't kidding when they talked about how bloodydamn GOOD the fight scenes are. I got spoiled that "Clang! Clang! Clang! Confess!" means something, and I don't even know who is fighting who, but I want to read the whole series just to get to that point because it sounds badass.
But uhhh this series came to me at a rough point in my life. It was hard to read some parts of it and I took a few breaks. Yeah, I read the whole thing in 2 weeks, but also just to fill myself with some sort of closure when I felt sad. I felt good coming out of it, but during? UHHHHHH-
Tumblr media
These disorganized thoughts are getting messy, if you have any questions about specific things, comment them for me to answer. I might. 🥰
Story: 7/10, just set up but good set up
Characters: 9/10, bloodydamn good, almost all of them. I can tell, despite my initial disappointment for some of them since I know this is a book SERIES, so we will be seeing more of them soon.
Personal Enjoyment: ????/10, felt too sad at some points, absolutely adored this book in others.
Quality: 9/10, amazing writing, I want to buy all the books JUST to support Pierce Brown, I'm not even sure if I will be reading them, I just feel like throwing money at him.
Overall Score: 8/10, scared to continue, but damn I want to continue.

@danganronpasurvivoraskblog did their own take on this and tagged me, so here's my thoughts!
I was just perusing Tumblr one day, say SDRA2 in my recommended and looked it up on TV Tropes. It was pretty interesting-sounding, so I looked into it. Not much else to say, really : P
DRA. While SDRA2 is more visually-pleasing, I think DRA has a better and more well-crafted story overall.
Faves: DRA Chapter 4 and SDRA2 Chapter 5. Least Faves: Chapter 3 for both of them.
I have a lot of great things to say about the usage of both Akane Taira and Utsuro, and their implementation in the game...but I feel like I have to give Mikado credit for actually being a villainous force throughout all of SDRA2. We got to know him as a villain and thus all that characterization wasn't crammed into a single trial.
It's a toss up between Maku and Emma, because I feel like the two of them really had a lot of personal history that you got to see in their FTEs. Maku clearly regretted his actions, and Emma tormenting him with puns was pretty funny. The Void Theater segments honestly made me want to include them in my own story, given that there was a lot of history between the Voids we didn't get to see.
Yoruko. She really deserved a break after all that.
Faves: Kanata & Akane for DRA; Hibiki, Shinji, Setsuka, Yoruko & Sora in SDRA2. Least faves: Mitch and Tsurugi for DRA; Syboi and Iroha for SDRA2
A LOT. Frankly, the entire Another series barely utilizes anyone's actual ultimate talents, and instead relies on character quirks you'll probably forget about or actual literal luck.
Iroha. She doesn't do anything to improve anybody's situation; not the main group, not the Voids, barely even her own most of the time. She's borderline useless at the best of times, and at her worst, she's selfish, bratty, petulant, brainless and just a detriment. She doesn't change, adapt, contribute or even make for a particularly interesting character, so what was the point of her inclusion, much less her survival?
Kanata. There's so much more that could've been done with her character beyond just making her the pure angel who apparently had to die horribly so we would feel bad.
Anyone who's followed me for long enough knows my answer is going to be Hibiki. Nobody got screwed over as badly as she did. Say what you will about Yuki being reduced to a brain in a jar, at least he actually survived.
Once again, Hibiki, hands down. Her survival would've been so much more meaningful and interesting, and could've contributed so much to the story and themes, as well as the conflicts both Yuki and Sora were facing.
I don't really care about the executions, but I guess Syobai's would be interesting to see. It's pretty fitting for him.
Kinji's. It was a nice mix of thematically appropriate but also completely bizarre, as we expect from DR.
Not to steal an idea from WeebyNewz, but I think DRA's first chapter would've been a lot more interesting if Kiyoka was the one who killed Mitch while trying to protect Akane.
Faves: DRA Chapter 6 and SDRA2 Chapter 1. Least Faves: DRA Chapter 1 and SDRA2 Chapter 3.
Plot twist that got me: That Mikado actually got away with murder in Chapter 5, and nobody, not even Iroha, even realized until it was too late. She genuinely thought that she was the one who poisoned Teruya, but she got played just as hard. He was this close to winning and it was actually on his own merits. Least favorite plot twist: The reveal that Kizuna was actually fake and she was just looking for a chance to kill someone. I hate the way LINUJ talks about her as the most hateable character in the game, and he clearly wanted the audience to feel that way, yet went out of his way to give her some genuinely interesting and sympathetic qualities. That whole bit doesn't feel like she's revealing her true colors, but that her personality suddenly shifted for the sake of making her an antagonist. Her death was also needlessly prolonged and cruel.
Even if they didn't act like it in the game, the Voids did have a genuine level of camaraderie and friendship that was lost when Mikado took over and convinced them they had to set up this Killing Game. When Iroha said she wanted to use the bathroom after trial 4, she was really looking for a place to cry, knowing her only friends were all gone.
SDRA2, while I don't hate it, it has some of the weakest writing I've ever seen for a fangan. The game is so focused on self-indulgence and callbacks to DRA that it doesn't communicate its theme in any clear manner. It also has this pervasively cynical, jaded view of its cast where barely any of them grow or change at all. And as I always like to bring up, you can skip Chapter 3 and miss nothing important to the overarching story, Chapter 4 was a mess that derailed the narrative and Chapter 6 is one exposition dump after another. It's a messy story that clearly needed more planning.
Point 19 having been said, I really liked the scene in Chapter 5 where Sora and Yoruko finally have a heart-to-heart about Sora's fears about her identity. It was such a cathartic and emotional moment after so many chapters of garbage and mediocrity, not to mention bitterness and anger on Yoruko's part. I wanted more moments like these, where characters genuinely talk.
//So there we go, my 20 points for the Another series. Some of these are new, others are things I'll probably never shut up about : P
@despair-to-future-arcs @thenewfuture @askthedespairkids @a-tale-never-told @tired-writer-in-progress @spyrkle4 Do you guys wanna give this a go? I'd love to hear your thoughts if you wish to share

TONIGHT'S MOVIE: Ready Player One
this is a series where i am watching a movie and want to tell people things out loud but i'm alone or told to shut up irl
THOUGHTS:
very my dad coded, "the 80s were peak in all human history and time" and i'm suspect of that, but they all seem harmless
you can WIN by knowing TRIVIA this man was autistic
he is also autistic coded and it's a bit obvious but i love him
i refuse to ever believe the true nerds would ever EVER work w the bad guys
just because they're corporate. one thing men learned to do in the 80s was to "stick it to the man"
secretary lady said "sir these are children. grow up" and she was RIGHT lmao ur nemesis is 11
i would have loved this at 12 years old /affectionate
Artemis is a GOD
omfG THEY KEPT H'S CHARACTER
my fellow nerds!! we must unionise to to keep our nerd-dom free and equal
i need Fred voice man to secretly switch sides
i was always a fantasy mythology latin theater arts nerd autistic growing up not the scifi star wars star trek science math boy nerd autistic
but i see you, i understand
ok maybe making a religion out of your game and having a singular popular voted leader is more of a "democracy wins" rather than communism but it's going in the right direction
ong they're playing a game while evil secretary is like "i can just kill these children irl, then they die in the game"
ok maybe i'm just attracted to Nerd Freaks,
AND the fact that the kids are fighting where dying in game doesn't mean dying irl
but the corporate bad guys are going the kill irl to kill in game method, it's really telling
THE IRON GIANT AND THE 80S VOLTRON
as a transgender person, i recognize a love for the customization of characters that videogames give
prostate cancer medicine ad
(side note all the bad side effects literally describe most of my chronic pain wow cancer sucks)
fuck my new cart hits so hard
IT'S NOT ABOUT WINNING IT'S ABOUT PLAYING
fuck i hate bad guys, they're so hateable
i really son't understand the mechanics of how moving/hitting works in this videogame vs real life shit
hank green's book did it better
HA BOSS GUY GOT KICKED IN THE BALLS
this is what you get for making weird sex toys out of cool vr stuff
THE QUARTER I AM SOBBING
maybe everything i watch is good because i'm high not the other way around
either way i am having more fun consuming media than i ever have this makes me so happy
NINJAS DON'T HUG
i love that he's aware of the real world and the videogame at the same time
stick it to the karens these days
the first easter egg ever in video game history 😭
mans doxxing himself to get irl help, THAT is reaching out to your community
the nerds being happy
being completely poor again to get the prize, the american dream
also the orphan inheriting from the Wise Old Man, MUAH an underappreciated trope
the final test and the MOST AUTISTIC MAN I'VE EVER SEEN I LOVE HIM
YES THE MOB SHOULD KILL HIM
a true mob would never be intimidated by force
oh man jeeze that guy is my dad (the autistic one)
THE GAMERS WOULD NEVER BOW TO THE POLICE WTF
MR MAGORIUMS MAGIC EMPORIUM that's what it reminds me of
bro, i will join the punk rock rebellion in a minute, first i have to kiss a girl
oh man H is my fucking fav can i kiss u
technically she's a lesbian in canon but it's purely out of Respect
awwww they created a democratic government for the videogame
"there's no rule against losing a bet to a cheeky kid"
tuesdays and thursdays are for making out with girlfriends
CONCLUSION:
maybe Spielberg movies are for those kids who went to video game unreality when i went to book unreality, it hits the right buttons
