Y'all, we gotta give Class of 3000 some more attention!

I know I tagged y'all yesterday again in all the Melanie Martinez songs I relate to, but oh well ^/////^; And y'all gotta hear me out on this one

So, I have now gotten to deviantart again but without an account on my computer because I wanted to look at some class of 3000 fanart, And I noticed that theres mostly with The Main cast (sunny, lil' D, philly Phil, Madison, Eddie, tamika, kim And kam), And not really with other characters such as: Salieri, lil' G, Freddie, Brooklyn Bill, Addison, Bambi, jim And Jam, cheddar man "Charles", mila... Etc the characters I Drew. And lots of People in class of 3000 community fan-girl And fan-boy over Madison, And even make fetish arts out of her, not only her, but also kim And tamika. And that really bothered me... But its Nice that they made lots of funny, innocent And cute scenarios And fanart of class of 3000 Main cast, And I even saw FOUR fanarts of kaylie

But I wanna say that we all should make fanart of class of 3000 here too since muppets is mostly trending here on tumblr... And I say....

Maybe it's just because I'm not looking hard enough, but I am somewhat disappointed that no one in the tumblr Fraggle Rock fandom has come up with a Fraggle Actor AU yet.

Like I have yet to see a single post bringing up the idea of a Fraggle Actor AU, and i've been perusing the variations of Fraggle Rock related tags for literal days now.

So I'm making one myself.

Also this is extremely long, and kind of disjointed because I'm writing this at 9 at night, and also just trying to get as much of this AU down as possible in one go. I can refine it later.

Just a warning to anyone who actually wants to look at it.

So anyways the root of the AU is the crossover Fraggle Rock has with the Muppets and Sesame Street in A Muppet Family Christmas.

Within the actual canon of the crossover, it's more likely than not that Fraggle Rock acts as a kind of magical liminal space between dimensions, linking the various dimensions, and none of the Fraggles are actors within the canon of this crossover.

This AU tosses that hypothetical/implied canon out the window, because A Muppet Family Christmas exists outside of Fraggle Rock canon. Instead having all of the characters within A Muppet Family Christmas being actors, acting out a movie.

Some of the things that happen in Fraggle Rock are influenced by real world events within the Actor AU.

Like Red breaking her ankle and being unable to move around for filming multiple episodes, so there's multiple episodes with a subplot of "Red is injured and can't do X Thing, so what do we do to get around that". All of those episodes were filmed when she was injured, but were spaced out.

Red breaking her ankle is canon within the Actor AU, but it didn't break because of the incident that is mentioned/shown (I can't remember if we see her get injured or just hear about it) on the Show Fraggle Rock.

Then there's things that exist in the Actor AU that exist in order to facilitate the idea of Fraggle Rock is a show played by real actors.

Such as Uncle Matt and Gobo not being related in real life, but playing nephew and uncle in the show Fraggle Rock.

Uncle Matt's real nephew is who plays him as young Matt, while Gobo's real dad plays Uncle Gobo and Gobo's younger brother plays child Gobo in the flashbacks.

The core group of fraggles are, within the show of Fraggle Rock, mostly intended to be in their late teens, twenty at the oldest. The actors' ages don't exactly match up with this though.

Mokey's actress for example is 28, when Mokey the show character is supposed to be 20 (oldest of the friend group, but still just starting real adulthood). Red and Gobo's actors are both early 20s and playing 18/19 year olds.

Boober is 17 and the only actor playing his own age. While Wembley's actor is just 15 while Wembley himself is supposed to be closer to 17.

Boober and Wembley both being the only actual teenagers of the group is also why if there's a ship tease for either of their characters, it tends to be with the other's character, or a background character who's also played by another teenager like Lou.

Instead of either of them getting ship teased with Red, Gobo, or Mokey. With the older actors' characters tended to get ship teased with each other, rather than with Boober or Wembley.

Sidebottom is also played by Boober. Though is occasionally brought to life with the use of a body double (parent trap style) when the two characters have to physically interact, rather than just being fully green screened into the same scenes.

None of the fraggle actors' real personalities are identical to who they are in the show, and in some ways they can be pretty dramatically different.

Mokey in the show will often come to a wrong conclusion under the guise of being helpful, and will do something completely unhelpful as a result. Such as leaving Gobo alone in episode one where he actually could have used someone to talk to. Or her extreme forgetfulness.

While Mokey's actress is just as chill as the character she plays, she's not as full on flower child, let me protest eating Doozer buildings when I've never spoken to a Doozer before, well intentioned problem maker. The character she plays can be a bit of a ditz at times, when the real Mokey is more mentally present than that.

For Red and Gobo their arrogance and insensitivity gets pretty massively exaggerated in both of their cases. Sure they're not perfect, but they're not "constantly blaming other people for my mistakes" arrogant and insensitive they can be in the show.

Actors' history/background:

Red's career history:

Red's actress is actually pretty interested in art and stuff in real life, while Red the character finds most art pretty boring.

Red's previously only had one big role in acting before being casted as a main character on Fraggle Rock. Before then she was mainly playing bit parts and doing commercials.

Red started her acting career as an adult, and has been in the business for 4 years when Fraggle Rock starts.

Wembley's career history:

Fraggle Rock is Wembley's first big acting gig, with him only doing commercials and bit work before this.

Wembley is a child actor, and the youngest, so the rest of the main cast is very protective of him. Especially Gobo and Mokey.

Gobo's career history:

Gobo's inexplicable accent is because his actor is Canadian and he's bad at hiding his accent. His whole family is Canadian, but his dad can do various accents, which is why Uncle Gobo has a different accent.

Gobo is a neapo baby, his whole family are actors. Which is why both his dad (who plays Uncle Gobo), and his younger brother (who plays Gobo in childhood flashbacks) also both act in Fraggle Rock.

Gobo did the full child actor thing when he was a little kid (because family buisiness), but stopped when he was around 12 to focus on his music. Only to then return to acting as an adult.

Fraggle Rock is Gobo's first big roll since returning to acting as an adult. Gobo was actually thinking about quitting acting again to focus full time on his music when learning he landed the lead role in Fraggle Rock.

Gobo ends up growing protective of Wembley over the course of filming season 1 of Fraggle Rock. He's just a couple years older than Gobo's own younger brother, and their characters have a very sibling like relationship.

Though Gobo isn't as vigilante about watching over Wembley and being suspicious of people's intentions involving Wembley as Mokey is.

Gobo grew up in the industry, but he also comes from a wealthy family of Hollywood actors who had the money and ability to shield him almost completely from the dark side of Hollywood.

Boober's career history:

Boober's been acting professionally since he was a kid, originally in theater. Starting out when he was about 4 in small local productions in his hometown, but by age 10 he'd manage to land his first role on Broadway.

Boober got scouted for his first tv roll by a producer who saw one of his shows, when he was 13. He spent the next two years doing bit parts for tvs and movies, but still primarily a theater actor, before making the full transition away from stage acting at age 15.

Boober's various past roles are kind of all over the place. The guy has range. Before landing the role on Fraggle Rock where he's the group's anxious stick in the mud he played a pretty wide variety of characters, both on stage and on film.

He's played charming pranksters, and bullies, and shy nerds, and everything in between. Heck one of his previous roles was a female character, and he had to cross dress for it.

Mokey's career history:

Mokey has the longest career in acting of the main five, both because of her age, and because she started off as a baby actress.

Yep, Mokey was tragically an instance of child actor acting as the breadwinner situation. So even though she's only 28, she's been acting for 27 years.

She's been in movies, and tv shows, and commercials. She's had a million bit roles, and lead a number of tv shows and movies.

For her acting in Fraggle Rock was just supposed to be a fun silly project. Her character wasn't supposed to be a main character, but she found in table reads that she enjoyed being Mokey Fraggle so much and being part of Fraggle Rock that her role was expanded into a main character.

Mokey is really protective of Wembley and Boober due to her past as a child actor of parents who weren't at all part of the business. She knows how dangerous of a world acting is for a child, even on wholesome children's shows like Fraggle Rock.

Mokey keeps a close eye on who interacts with her underage cast mates, and more importantly if and when anyone acts strangely around her young cast mates. Or if anyone makes them uncomfortable.

Mokey is not afraid to call parents, report people for misconduct, or go to law enforcement with her concerns if she thinks things aren't being handled.

And she's a big enough star to be able to get away with stuff like that.

muppet babies au????? i’m intrigued

The muppet baby au is the first AU in an installment of four fics regarding your [ngl mostly my and my siblings favourite wrestlers] as infant and young children. It is an au where nothing hurts and everything is cute and sweet. Think of it like a little episodic TV Show with linking characters and storylines. With a couple of OCs sprinked in for our own enjoyment! The cast include

Maddie Orton [OC] - Shes 5 - a tiny doctor - autistic and dyslexic - baby adopted sister of Randy Orton - Parents: Triple H/Shawn Micheals [Adopted the Orton/Rollins children after their birth parents died in an accident]

Finn Balor - Hes 6 - always full of chaos - thinks hes immune to being told off because his ma runs the daycare [that is fundermentally untrue] - Likes to be lavelled as Irish - Bites but for fun - parents: Ma and Pa Balor

Samuel 'Sami' Zayn: - 5 - Translates Generico to everyone else - Isnt too good at making friends - probably doesnt sleep enough for a kid - Wears his hat and glasses - Always has his fingers in his mouth -Parents: Edge and Christian

El Generico: - age: 4 - barely speaks so its mostly sounds [Danhausen and Sami can understand] - Dances and always on the move, cannot sit still - sleeps on tables - He always has the lucha mask on [adults are sure hes posessed by some kinda mexican wrestler and is thus an "old soul"] - refuses to believe the young bucks are seperate people - gets emotionally attached to things that arent human - Parent: Excalibur

Basically, it’s this;

Neither twin is human. One is a Ditto, the other is a Zoroark- they switch out who they are occasionally, mostly for fun! More under cut :)

Neither knows who took the form first, nor who (presumably) made a mistake first- creating the second twin. It is possible that they simply stole the identity of some poor kid on a vacation to Unova- and ended up becoming attached to the forms, choosing to live their lives as humans.

Having the same forms, living the same lives- though they may not be related by blood, the two are still inseparable! Brothers in all but blood, essentially. They of course developed an affinity for trains, and subways- as well as Pokémon battles!

Growing up unable to speak, people simply assumed they had gone through something traumatic and were nonverbal, or maybe that they’d lost their memories of their lives, and they were taught to speak throughout the time they “grew up”. The reason they look kinda muppet-like and behave “so strangely” is because they essentially had to improvise what growing up would look like, without any real frame of reference. They managed well enough, though!

It’s a closely guarded secret of theirs, what they are- and in an exercise of trust they have caught each other in order to prevent getting caught by someone else. The pokéballs are hidden in a secret location- probably deep in the woods.

They don’t intend to give up their lives anytime soon.

Another possible explanation for how they came to be; they stole the identity of a young man, and then proceeded to teach themselves how to speak and act like people- getting jobs, making money, getting a home- all the other stuff except they didn’t have to pretend to grow up.

Sometimes they like to mess with people- switching their forms while someone is looking away, leaving them extremely confused because “wasn’t Ingo on the left and Emmett on the right just now?” And they just smile (or stay passive, in Ingo’s case) like the person’s gone insane but they’re too polite to mention it.

Note 1: I am NO LONGER WRITING HARRY POTTER FIC I'm sorry I tried to separate the fandom from the author but she's just being so awful that I can't in good conscience be involved in anything related.

Note 2: I haven't been "actively" in a lot of these fandoms for many years, and so I can't promise to remember every canon character or event, but I'm always willing to try, especially if it's only for a ficlet.

Otherwise, if it's not on the list, you can still always try. I'm old. I've been a fan of a lot of things over the years.

I am a multishipper and tend to be open to anything except incest and villain x hero (ie Samifer in SPN, Xuexiao in MDZS) - no judgement, you do you, I'm a pro-shipper, I just don't want to write that stuff. But, if you really want to get into the nitty-gritty of what I will and won't write for each, I tried to make a semi-exhaustive list. (read more)

I'll write most ships, and honestly, you can always try me on anything - you won't offend me, I just may opt not to write it. Fandoms are in vaguely alphabetical order.

A few general notes:

I will virtually never write incest (as in literal blood relatives - adoption, raised together, known each other since childhood, none of that is incest) EXCEPT for twincest (idk brains are weird I can brain it for twins, I think because somethingsomething power dynamics)

I don't write RPS except for Yizhan.

Generally, I don't like shipping villains, especially villains x heroes, and especially if the villain committed extreme violence and/or sexual violence and/or massive mental manipulation against the hero in question. (I know that their relationship can be super different in AUs or if events diverge I'm just not personally comfortable with it anyway. See again: brains are weird).

I usually avoid intergenerational shipping (for example, a parent and their kid's friend) because, again, somethingsomething power dynamics.

I'll write underage, but again, I sometimes have power dynamic concerns, and I tend to prefer not to write CANON underage (like, I'll age up or age down characters, but if they're underage in canon I'm often less comfortable with it.)

Other than that - I'll try almost anything. This is NOT a list of what I ship, but instead a list of what I don't ship for any given fandom:

* 2ha: fuck Shi Mei. Not literally of course, but I really ain’t out here shipping Shi Mei with literally fucking anyone. Other than that I think I’m mostly game? Though I don’t remember some of the side characters that well, there were just too many names in that one big reveal about Xue what’s-his-name and Luo something-or-other.

* Check Please: I basically only write Zimbits. I’d try other things, especially with Shitty, but no Kent Parson at all please.

* DMBJ: I haven’t seen Mystic 9 yet so I don’t know those characters and can’t write for them yet; stick to folks in UN and TLTR and I’m probably good for most stuff? Except Wu Sanxing, and the villains, big ol’ nope. I'm also part-way through Sha Hai, and I can write those characters (not Wang Can, haven't met him yet) but again I'd rather avoid intergenerational ships.

* Guardian: I see Chuguo more familial/brotherly, and I haven’t really thought about other ships but idk try me? It’s fun to experiment.

* Leverage: anyone in the team x anyone else in the team, I’m game.

* MCU: No HTP, and I'd really rather avoid most of the villains, but I'm open to basically any hero x any hero. I do ship Thorki.

* MDZS: no Xuexiao or really any Xue Yang ships (though I think I’d be okay with Xueyu). No Lancest, Niecest, Wencest, or Jiangcest. I’m a little reluctant on most Jin Guangyao ships too tho I’ll do 3zun and variations there on. As I mentioned, intergenerational stuff often makes me uncomfortable so tend to avoid older folks x juniors but I’ll ship the juniors together and depending on the ship I’d probably be willing to try?

* SPN: no Wincest or Samifer or Lucifer x anyone. I tend not to ship villains in general. I prefer a ship with either Dean or Cas or both but I’m open to Sam ships too.

* Star Trek: No Gul Dukat or Kai Winn. They should suffer alone. No Voyager or later series, I just haven’t seen them so I don’t know the characters. Other than that...idk try me? I haven't written much shippy stuff for Star Trek so I don't have many strong opinions yet.

* Star Wars: mostly I ship JediStormPilotRose and permutations there of but idk I’d try other just about anything other than villains and LukeLeia. I am not familiar with Clone Wars or the Mandolarian and have only seen the movies (not Solo).

* SVSSS: other than family/relatives (like Tiankang jun x Luo Binghe) I can’t really think of any no’s? Im especially a proponent of Shen Qingqiu/Yuan harem rights. I’d rather not write Shen Jiu or Original Luo Binghe but…eh, I’m open.

* TGCF: …I kinda don’t get Qiurong but I’d be willing to try? But otherwise I think I’m good. I’d even be willing to do Bai Wuxiang ships as long as it’s understood it’s gonna be dark as fuck. No Xianle cousins as a ship. I think I’d struggle with Qi Rong in general but I’d give it a go. No Shicest.

* Thousand Autumns: until I reread and get a better sense of the side characters I’m pretty Yanshen only.

* Voltron: I don't ship Lance with anyone, mostly because his fandom led me to hate him. I also don't really get Lotor ships. I'm mostly interested in Keith, Allura, and Shiro.

* Word of Honor: note I haven’t read TYK yet, but I’m open to virtually anything I guess? I’d prefer no Zhang Chengling x older folks. I favor Caoxiang, Wenzhou and Wenzhouyi. I've also read Qiye; I can't really think of any solid nos for that except maybe Helian Pei, Helian Qi, and/or Helian Zhou x like...anyone. Fuck those guys in no fun ways.

* Yuri in Ice: I don’t really like Otayuri, Yuri’s just too young for me to personally be comfortable shipping him. But the older folks I’m pretty open to multishipping them.

           Remus froze in horror as he reached into the bowl of names to pick his partner for their history project. He looked out at the sea of his classmates and prayed for someone good. He knew no one in the room would really mind being his partner, because Remus was studious and took his academic seriously, so being his partner for a project basically guaranteed a good grade.

           His hand wrapped around a piece of paper and he lifted his up. “Sirius Black,” he said as evenly as he could while his heart sank. Sirius Black was a notorious trouble maker who barely did any school work and only got decent grades because he was smart and was good at taking tests. Most days he didn’t even bother handing in his homework and he spent most of class lounging back with his feet on the desk and his hands in the pockets of his leather jacket.

           Remus risked a glance over at Sirius and he found Sirius beaming at him. It was odd to see Sirius look so excited about anything school related. The only time Black got excited about anything was the stupid pranks he liked to pull with his friend James. At least Remus hadn’t ended up with Potter as his partner. James was even worse than Sirius but it seemed that misfortune had landed on Lily Evans.

           Taking his seat again, Remus began jotting down ideas for what point in history they should do. He immediately dismissed World War Two as he figured most people would be drawn to that era. He didn’t want to pick anything too obscure, knowing he’d be doing everything himself. There was no point in making things harder when it came time to research.

           Remus had been so busy with his list that he must have missed the teacher telling them to meet up with their partners. He was startled when Sirius Black dropped his books onto Remus’ desk and sat backwards in the chair in front of Remus to face him.

           “Hi there!” Sirius said, running his fingers through his shoulder length hair. “How’s it going, Lupin?”

           Remus jotted down a few more ideas before he forgot them and then glanced up at Sirius. “I’m fine, you?”

           “I’m fantastic,” Sirius said, leaning in towards Remus as if they were sharing a secret. “I was hoping I’d be paired with a cute boy for this.”

           Remus rolled his eyes. Sirius Black was a shameless flirt, everyone knew that. “I was thinking maybe we could do the Victorian era,” Remus told him, chewing on the end of his pen.

           “I was thinking ancient Rome,” Sirius said, wiggling his eyebrows. “You know with all those orgies and stuff.”

           Remus resisted the urge to roll his eyes once more. “We’re not presenting on orgies to the class.”

           Sirius grinned, putting his arm on the back of the chair and resting his chin in his hand. “You want to do the Victorian era where seeing someone’s ankle was considered scandalous.”

           Remus quirked an eyebrow at him in response. “You do know Oscar Wilde was imprisoned for sodomy during this era, right?” he said, making Sirius’ eyes go wide. Probably from the use of the word sodomy. “And Lord Byron was off fucking pretty much anything that would move.”

           Sirius hummed softly. “I guess that could be cool.”

           Remus sighed. “So glad you approve,” he said with a hint of annoyance. He was going to have to do the whole project himself anyway. He didn’t really need Sirius’ input anyway.

           “Wanna meet in the library after school?” Sirius asked, gathering up his stuff as the teacher announced the end of class.

           “Why?” Remus asked, frowning as Sirius stood up.

           Sirius laughed. “To work on the project?”

           “Oh, um, sure.”

           “Perfect!” Sirius said, beaming at him. Remus gave him a tentative smile in return. He was surprised to see Sirius so enthusiastic about a school project. “’I’ll see you there!”

           “See you.”

           Remus got a few books about the Victorian Era and spread them out over the table he’d picked at the back of the library. He thought maybe Sirius would bail on their plans to meet up, which honestly suited Remus just fine. He’d get along better without having Sirius interrupting him. He chewed on his pen cap as he jotted down some notes.

           “Hey Remus!” Sirius said, sliding in the chair beside him. “Sorry I’m late. Peter got his hand stuck in a peanut butter jar…again. I swear it’s like being friends with Winnie the Pooh.” Sirius laughed and slung his arm over Remus’ shoulders with a familiarity that just did not exist between them. Remus wondered if it would be rude to shake Sirius off him.

           Remus cleared his throat and decided to change the subject back to school. He didn’t want to get to know Sirius Black. He didn’t want that kind of trouble in his life. Sure, Sirius was gorgeous, vivacious and intriguing, but he also had a tendency to get bored of people easily. It seemed like every month there were rumors of Sirius with another bloke. Whether they were true or not was another matter and Remus didn’t know Sirius well enough to be sure. At one point Remus had cared a great deal about the goings-on of Sirius Black but he’d more or less gotten over his stupid crush.

           “So I was thinking we could talk about the evolution of the English novel starting and it’s reflection of society at the time,” Remus said, writing down the names of a few authors he wanted to mention.

           “Sounds very swotty,” Sirius teased, reading the list over Remus’ shoulder. “I’m not going to have to read all those books, am I?”

           “No,” Remus said, shaking his head. “I’ve read most of the ones I want to touch on. Dickens, Conan Doyle, Austen, Bronte, Wilde.”

           “I have read Hound of the Baskerville,” Sirius offered, glancing at the list again. “I’ve seen the Colin Firth Pride and Prejudice. Does that count for anything?”

           Remus chuckled despite himself. “It’s more accurate to the book than the Kiera Knightly one.”

           “I mostly just watched it because Colin Firth is hot,” Sirius said with a shrug. “And I know about a Christmas Carol, even though I’ve never read it.”

           “Let me guess, the Muppet version?” Remus quipped, turning his head to look at Sirius and noticing just how close their bodies were. Their breath was actually mingling together.

           Sirius grinned. “It’s still the same story.”

           “I knew it!” Remus laughed, shaking his head in disbelief. “What am I going to do with you?”

           “I don’t know…” Sirius said softly, bringing his other hand up and brushing his fingers over Remus’ cheek. “What are you going to do with me?”

           Remus felt his cheeks go red and he quickly turned away back to the safety of his books. “I’m thinking maybe we should talk about the poverty of the time and the classism at work in British society. Maybe talk about how a lot of novels had protagonists trying to improve their social standing – Great Expectations, Pride and Prejudice, Wuthering Heights, Oliver Twist.”

           Sirius listened to Remus ramble with a bemused smirk on his face. When Remus glanced back over he noticed Sirius was staring at him intently. It made Remus’ stomach clench uneasily.

           “Have you ever kissed anyone before?”

           Remus’ jaw dropped. “I don’t see how that’s relevant – “

           “Is that a no?”

           Remus flipped the page of his notebook just for something to do to continue ignoring Sirius’ question. “It’s none of your business,” he finally responded after Sirius didn’t let it go.

           “I could make it my business,” Sirius said, licking his lips and smiling. “Why don’t you give me your number?”

           “Why?”

           “Because I want it.”

           Remus scowled at him. “Sirius, I’m not interested –“

           “Bollocks.”

           Remus’ frown deepened. “Not everyone is interested in you, Black. Y-you’re annoying and selfish and reckless.”

           “Flatterer,” Sirius said, his grin showing that he didn’t really believe Remus. “Come on, I’m not that bad, Lupin. I’ve got some good qualities too.”

           Remus huffed out a breath. “I don’t know you well enough to say if that’s true or not,” he informed his project partner. “We’ve never exactly spent any significant amount of time together.”

           “Let’s change that then, hm?” Sirius said, grabbing Remus’ notebook and scribbling down his number. “Text me tonight and we’ll pick a time this weekend to work on the project. I’ll come over to yours because my place is a nightmare.”

           “What?” Remus asked, blinking in utter confusion at Sirius. He wasn’t sure but he thought Sirius Black had just invited himself over to Remus’ house on the weekend.

           “I’ve got to get going but don’t do the whole project without me, okay?” Sirius said, standing up and slinging his bag over his shoulder. “I promise I’m not completely useless.”

           Remus could do nothing but stare up at Sirius with a puzzled expression on his face. Sirius smiled at him and then went bounding out of the library. Remus looked down at this notebook and the number scrawled over the middle of the page. Remus tore the page out of his notebook since it was ruined anyway. He considered throwing it into the rubbish bin but shoved it into his pocket instead. He thought about ignoring Sirius’ request and just continuing on by himself. Instead he took the books up to the front desk and checked them out so that he could continue his research over the weekend. Even if Sirius didn’t show up to help him, Remus would be prepared to finish the project on his own.

           Against his better judgment Remus texted Sirius later that night. He had talked it over with his mum during dinner and she had agreed to let Sirius come over on Saturday. She had been a bit surprised that Remus had asked to have a friend over. The only friend he’d ever had over before was Lily and they were such good friends that Remus didn’t really have to ask if Lily could come over anymore, she was always welcome at the Lupin house.

           You can come over tomorrow if you want.

           You texted me!

           Well yeah. You gave me your number.

           What time should I come over?

           Around lunchtime? My mum said she’d make us something if you want to eat here before we get started.

           I can eat anything I want?

           I mean as long as we have it.

           Can I eat you?

           Shut up. I’ll see you at lunchtime.

           Sirius arrived at Remus’ a little before noon and he seemed energetic, practically bouncing off the walls. He ate his lunch with gusto, munching on the ham and cheese sandwiches Remus’ mum had made. Sirius had kept the conversation going with Remus’ mum and Remus just sat there eating his food, kind of in a daze. He hadn’t expected Sirius to put so much effort in to talking with his mum. Sirius was alarmingly charming and it seemed like he was attempting to make a good impression. Remus had no idea why.

           “Uh, Sirius and I are going to my room to work on the project,” Remus said, grabbing Sirius by the arm and hauling him up out of his seat. He practically dragged Sirius down the hallway to his room and shut the door.

           “Anxious to get me alone, huh?” Sirius asked, biting his bottom lip.

           “What are you doing?” Remus asked, searching Sirius’ face for some kind of hint that he was lying or being a prat. Instead Sirius just smiled at him.

           “I don’t know what you mean,” Sirius responded with a shrug. “I was just being polite. Am I not allowed to be polite to your mum who made me lunch?”

           Remus huffed, the air puffing out his cheeks for a moment and then causing the curls on his forehead to move when he released it. “You never put it effort for anything.”

           “That’s not true,” Sirius said softly, reaching out and playing with one of Remus’ curls.

           Remus worked his jaw for a moment. “This isn’t – you don’t –“

           “I don’t?” Sirius challenged, twisting his hand into the front of Remus’ jumper and tugging him forward slightly. “How do you know?”

           Remus stared at Sirius for a moment and then shook his head. “Why are you trying so hard, Sirius?”

           Sirius grinned. “Because you’re making things difficult for me.”

           “And if I stopped?” Remus asked, crowding in closer to Sirius.

           “Then things would be remarkably easier.”

           “You’d get bored of me,” Remus said, glancing down for a moment at Sirius’ mouth and how very, very close it was. “Probably quicker than all the others – “

           “Ugh,” Sirius groaned, dropping his head back against the door. “Is that why? Remus, come on. I thought you of all people would be above listening to that gossip.”

           Remus frowned. “Lily told me she saw you snogging Evan Rosier.”

           “Yeah, well, we all make mistakes,” Sirius grumbled unhappily. “I dated Evan for a month and when I dumped him the stupid prick started making shit up about me. He has been for months just to get back at me. I guess I really am unforgettable.”

           Remus placed his hands gently at Sirius’ waist, slipping his fingers under Sirius’ t-shirt to touch his skin. It was warm and soft and Sirius made a cute little gasping noise at the contact. “So I’m not just your latest conquest then?”

           Sirius shook his head emphatically. “I fancy you,” he said, pressing his nose against Remus’ jawline in a gentle, sliding it up towards his ear before playfully biting the lobe. “I have for a while now but you don’t exactly make it easy to get to know you.”

           Remus smiled and pressed a soft kiss to Sirius’ temple. “I suppose I don’t,” he agreed quietly, shifting his hand to splay against the small of Sirius’ back. “I’ll let you close, if you want.”

           “I want,” Sirius breathed out. “Fuck Remus, kiss me.”

           Remus turned his head and captured Sirius’ lips, pressing Sirius back against the wall. Sirius’ mouth dropped open and Remus took the opportunity to slide his tongue inside. Sirius moaned and carded his fingers through Remus’ curls until his hand was fisted in Remus’ hair at the back of his head.  

           Remus broke the kiss after a few life-altering moments and pressed his forehead against Sirius’. “Sirius…”

           “Does this mean you’ll stop making things so bloody difficult for me then?” Sirius asked, his kiss-swollen lips twitching into a smirk.

           “Absolutely not,” Remus said, pressing a soft kiss to the corner of Sirius’ mouth. It would do Sirius good to keep having to put in a little effort. “Still interested?”

           “Fuck yes,” Sirius said, pulling Remus into another kiss. “If we get a good grade on the project will you be my boyfriend?”

           “We’re guaranteed to get a good grade,” Remus informed him, nipping playfully at Sirius’ lower lip. “I wouldn’t settle for anything less.”

           “Well then?” Sirius asked, raising a questioning eyebrow at Remus.

           “Yes,” Remus agreed to their proposed deal, sealing it with a kiss. Even though they were going to get a good grade on it, Remus knew Sirius would continue to work extra hard on it for Remus. Renowned trouble maker Sirius Black was going to put in effort into something school related because of Remus - because he wanted Remus. It was the best thing that had ever happened to Remus in his life.

           And if the project took twice as long to finish, because they couldn’t help interrupting their work to snog each other, well that was pretty spectacular as well.

1. At what age did you start writing fanfiction?

Hmm. Probably around 12-13? I think the original one I posted online was a very short one shot in the Magnificent 7 fandom (TV show from the 90′s) in response to a challenge prompt. That’s at least what I think was the first one I wrote. 

2. Who is your favorite author?

Ohhh....this is entirely fandom related. 

Endeavour: @hekate1308​ and athena_crikey MCU: @rohanrider3​ - Sound of Silence and Peter and the No Good, Horrible, Very Bad Day for the win! MacGyver: @amandagaelic​ (conveniently, also my favorite author in Timeless fandom, too) Iron Fist: @sholiofic​ (Ward and Danny bro fic for the win!) Daredevil: @beguilewritesstuff​ Voltron: @bosstoaster​ (even if I never actually finished the series because it started going a way I wasn’t thrilled with, her stories of Shiro are better than anything canon anyway). 

3. Favorite type of scene to write?

The “all for naught” escape scenes. Like, it really looks like the good guy is gonna escape, they’re sooo close and then nope. Nice try! I also like the feisty ones - I really don’t actually like the begging whump trope, or the ‘take me instead’ where they just sort of submit, because that’s just not a thing I understand - like, at all. My mind always goes with ‘you’re gonna kill me anyway, so you’re coming with me and we’ll see who gets to Hell first’. So like in Lucifer fic, my favorite scene that I wrote was when I got to play with Lucifer’s bad side with him as Samael, even though Lucifer is generally a super nerd who (depending one which season it is) would rather make friends than fight. 

4. What is your favorite fanfic?

To read? Oh boy. Found Family. Don’t care which fandom it is, so it’s more of a genre than a specific one. 

5. What tags do you avoid like the plague?

Non-con, non-canon romantic relationships, smut, PWP, underage, dub-con, all things related to those categories. 

6. What AU do you wish to write but feel like you won’t manage?

A crossover between Republic of Doyle and Magnum, PI. OH - or one I discussed many a moon ago with @buckky​ for a now dead fandom for a show called Deception. In the AU, magic was real instead of all stage production and the twins that were the main characters were from a long line of magic users. It got way more complicated and in depth, but I haven’t seen the show since it got cancelled, which makes it really hard to come up with motivation to write in it. 

7. Do you outline, or write as you go?

Outline - HA! As Jim Hawkins and Gonzo said in Muppets’ Treasure Island “Wherever the wind may take us!” 

8. What has been your favorite story to write so far? Why?

Either Running Up that Hill (before I got too pissed off at Agents of SHIELD to avoid the fandom altogether) or Damnatio Memoriae (which I love enough I am having trouble finishing the final chapter because then it will be over) and Wrong Side of Heaven for Magnum. For all three, the reasons are the same: I get to play with a character’s background that hints at being much more than anything they show on screen, and fix what I didn’t like in the canon version. 

9. Do you prefer to write one-shots or multi-chapters? Why?

To write? I’ve started getting back into one shots with Magnum, but I like the longer novel-length ones a smidgen-y bit more, because I like the detail I can get into. 

10. What is your favorite kind of comment?

Any of them? :-) Actually, I like the ones that are mostly sound effects and people telling me they gave up sleep to finish the long stories, or tell me that I nailed the characters voices so well that the stories read like actual episodes. 

11. Why did you start writing fanfiction? Why are you still writing?

Started because the shows I watched didn’t have the story lines I wanted - which were typically Found Family, longer story arcs, and because I felt compelled to write but was too young to effectively write my own stuff. Still writing for much the same reasons - I like telling stories that others don’t. So like one that I’m working on for original is (I guess) a space opera/pirate story where the two main characters are a guy and a girl who have been best friends since they were children and that’s literally all they are to one another. No romantic subplot, just platonic love (if you must label, they’re in the ace/aro area) and is almost entirely based around Found Family and “Unless I need a kidney, I don’t need my bio family” story arcs.

Zoe has been bothering Kayn ever since she was sent back to earth for a mission, a mission she never knew specifically. And that is for her to find out as she continues her journey alone or not alone. Zoe wasn’t set straight towards her mission, she’s a very careless girl after all. She somehow forgot about it, since the time limit could be infinite— as she thought.

Along with her expeditions, she gets to meet new people, mostly are afraid of her and doesn’t know her identity. The friends she used to know seems to be… gone. A millennia had passed the last time she set foot on runeterra. Making runeterra a whole new sight for her, specially with all the buildings added and of course the people. But having their paths crossed, Zoe and Kayn, was something she never expected. Though it was something dear to her, Kayn find Zoe as a nuisance, but he didn’t have any choice but to keep her around. She was oblivious and hard to get rid of, she is persistent, he even tried to kill her, not knowing that time that it will be impossible because she is some sort of god, something more and powerful that his powers alone can’t end her existence. Thus, he gave up. Zoe has’t given any confirmation to him yet on what she is, who she is and what her goal is, not entirely her goal but her purpose as to why she was there. Only stories about her previous journeys were told.

Well, it would be actually possible to kill her if Kayn let Rhaast take over him. Unfortunately, Rhaast was able to do that while Zoe wasn’t with them, she was out there somewhere, only for the reason to give Kayn his personal space because he keeps asking for it. It has been two days since the last time Zoe made her appearance to Kayn, he actually miss her presence but is in thought of denial. He was in his vulnerable state, and Zoe’s absence caused that. Even though he was in denial, Rhaast of course was able to see through him. Rhaast is a powerful being that battles with him for control, that is why.

Zoe held back herself from seeing Kayn for two whole days, it was a tough battle for her. Not being able to be with him makes her lonely, being the reason that Kayn is her only friend. She has nowhere to go to, but she tried her best to give Kayn what he wanted. Zoe thought a day should be enough, however there is also this lingering thought of hers that he might want more than just a day.

Zoe is finally at her limit of impatience and went back to Kayn, only to see Rhaast with a human body. “Rhaast? Is that you? How did you get a body, wow!” She cluelessly asked, “also, have you seen Kayn? I actually missed him!”

“You foolish child! I have finally taken over him thanks to you, and his ignorance. He was unaware of what will happen if he actually gave some feelings and care. You are late, child.” Rhaast menacingly answered, he gives small chuckles as if it was his long awaited victory.

“Who are you calling a child? I’m a thousand year old, you muppet!” Zoe insulted in return. “Just take Kayn back, will you? Do yourself a favor before I make you vanish!”

“What an ignorant child you are, I pity you. Will your powers be enough? I pity you for another reason, Kayn kept it a secret from you after all these days that I— am a darkin— I know you are aware of what a darkin is. You are the aspect of twilight after all, aren’t you? It was very foolish of you to not actually notice.”

“You thought I didn’t know that you are a darkin? Of course I am aware of that! I am not as naive as you thought. But…” She started sobbing, “I-I am naive enough to think that you wouldn’t want to take control over him. I was so careless and didn’t think enough of the odds! I know darkins would want control of whoever takes them, but I wasn’t able to confirm if it was true.”

“Aja! Do you also know that it was your fault that I was finally able to take control over him? He got too emontional over you! Poor boy, he was even in denial. He became really vulnerable because of his stupid feelings.” He laughed menacingly.

“That’s why I’ll do my best to save him! I at least believe that he isn’t dead yet, he still exists somewhere out there, and I’ll do everything in my power to bring him back. No matter what it takes…” Zoe whimpered as she started to cry harder, “e-even if it costs my life. I’m willing to learn different magics and whatnot just to s-save him.”

“That is true, he exists somewhere… in the abyss between oblivions. And why are you so determined? Ooh, perhaps you like him?– Well I don’t have anytime for any drama and your nonsense romance! Get out of my way, I shall take my leave and conquer this world once and for all. Someone stupid like you won’t have the strength and knowledge to do anything anyway.” Rhaast became furious, thus he pushed the short girl out of his way as her small body gave up on her and was pushed back. She could’ve defied gravity with her own feet, but she’s too devasted to think nothing but about her dearest friend, Kayn.

This is all I can think of for now, she thought quietly. She dashed towards Rhaast, pushing him down together with her. Her whole body beemed with star lights, she then hugged Rhaast tightly so that he won’t escape from her grasp. She fell asleep, just to wake up within a second. But she wakes up in nowhere, falling endlessly. A place where it seems like there’s no land, but there’s galaxy and an ocean at the bottom. To her surprise, there’s a braided guy falling ahead of her.

“Kayn!” She yelled, though only herself can hear. Kayn couldn’t also talk, but he noticed her as he mouthed the word Zoe, her name with pain in his eyes where tears seem to have started to escape. Zoe felt his pain as she realizes what Kayn has just mouthed. There’s another problem, she can’t defy the gravity there, which prevented her from stopping her fall. Thus she rushed her fall instead by swimming in thin air, not quite literally; she dropped her weight as she leans downwards.

Kayn stretched up his own arm, wanting to reach Zoe who is still kind-of far from him. Soon, Zoe nearly catched up on him with his fall. She also stretched her arm down to reach Kayn’s hand, finally she was able to hold his hands. Alas and alack, they held each other’s hand while Zoe’s cheeks are covered in her own tears, she sniffs but the abyss is dead silent, you won’t be able to hear anything. As if you are already dead, only waiting to be rotten.

Zoe pulled herself closer to Kayn— closing their distance— she hugged him as if there was no tomorrow. She cried to his shoulder, he felt the tears that is streaming down from her face. He hugged back and closed his eyes, he already accepted that he’ll continue to fall not knowing when he will land. Since Zoe is in his arms, he’s finally okay with the situation and let it be his fate. He is actually… contented and ready to rot in that world. That’s a good thing to finally accept, but there he was wrong about his fate, getting rot in the abyss; it won’t be their end yet. Zoe on the other hand feels the same way, contented and has accepted that it might be her end; at least she’s in Kayn’s arms.

As she finally saw that they are nearing the ocean below them, she closed her eyes as well. She waited and waited for the both of them to immerse into the ocean. But the unexpected happen, their fall stopped, she feels like they are floating, still holding each other. She opened one of her eye to check what happened, only to see that the ocean was transformed into a bubble as both of them float in it. While Kayn still has his eyes closed, not aware of what is happening.

The bubble popped.

At last, Kayn opened his eyes, with the sight of the forest he was in before he fell into the abyss. With an ombre-haired girl in his arms, who has her eyes closed, face burried into his chest. They are back to life, not as if they were dead, but they are no longer trapped in the abyss.

“Z- Zoe?” Kayn started speaking, who hasn’t recovered yet, thus he stuttered.

After not quite a long time, the girl looked up to him and says, “Kayn? Was it just a dream? Oh, of course, it should be! Did I make you uncomfortable? Did I just sleep on you? Since when did I sleep? How embarrassing!” Zoe tried to convince herself that it was just a dream, with her eyes and cheeks still wet from the tears she let out.

Kayn held both of Zoe’s cheeks to calm her down, as he looked straight to her teary eyes, “t-thank you for saving me,” it was the only thing he can say as of the moment.

“So it really wasn’t a dream, huh?” She started crying again, “I’m sorry, I don’t know how to permanently seal Rhaast out of your possession, b-but I’m willing to know how! I’ll find a way. A-at least you’re back and still alive.”

“S-shh,“ he shushed for her to calm.

“I’ll save you whenever, and whatever it takes, even if it means abandoning my eternal life. I would give up eternity, just to be by your side until the end of your lifetime and protect you, save you repeatedly even for the millionth time. Just please, I don’t want you gone…”

He hugged her, letting Zoe, who is still crying, dig her face onto his chest. Kayn started to shed a tear, hiding it from Zoe. He’s utterly moved from her statement, his tears mean happiness also sadness from what had just happened; Rhaast taking over him that is.

“I’ll assure you that at least,” Zoe continued, with her face still burried onto his chest.

“I’ll assure you, too— that I won’t go anywhere, and I’m not leaving as long as you’re here with me.” With his voice shaking unwantedly and heart seemed to have soften, Kayn reassured Zoe as he gently pats her head.

Some sketch work for the Delving Witch main characters, Sophie (human witch) and Jesper (Familiar/”Smoth”/Familiar who claims he’s related to The Muppets).  Along with Sophie’s main spellcasting/incantation implement, her calligraphy pen that writes in blood. (more info on them under cut)

Sophie’s an exorcist witch who’s main profession is diving into the metaphysical underside of haunted locations and works her way to the focal point of the haunting, where she can then purify the whole place.  She’s basically seen enough shit that she’s not flappable by any conventional means, and her reaction to bad things happening is usually to grin & bear it& and probably make a pun to herself or sing a little tune about how great she is.  She generally acts like a self aware protagonist in a horror movie, to the ends of out-thinking all the garbage a haunting can throw at her.

She aggressively loves all forms of creepy crawlies on the basis that you don’t get squicked so bad if you’re trying to figure out what critters the monstrosity you’re staring down is made of.  She’s also a loose vegetarian, and won’t eat anything she can identify as meat (you walk through a few flesh caverns and you lose your appetite).  

Sophie’s the kind of over-empathetic that she feels bad for things that kinda sorta look like they have sad faces on them.  She’s also got some anxieties/aversions as a result of aforementioned horror-dungeon crawling.  Entering unlit rooms, dolls, or anything innocuous in a prominent place are all major red flags to her.  She also tends to avoid new experiences out of the fear of it going wrong, but has no problems entering a haunting because she knows that’s gonna go wrong and can plan accordingly.

Sophie mostly enjoys comedy, science, and has a hobbyist interest in anatomy and general medicine.  She firmly believes everything that isn’t absolutely sure will go wrong, but is pretty sure that it’ll be fine too.  She also has an interest in board games and getting her friend group to play them with her.

The blood she uses to draw incantations is her own by the way.  She has a pet buffalo leech named Snausage that she lets feed off her when she needs more blood and just lets it drip into a container until the anticoagulants wear off.

Jesper is a witch’s familiar and serves as Sophie’s excess resevoir of magic, and her safety line to the real world, meaning he can drag her out of a dungeon as soon as the sun rises if it goes tits up, as well as a smidge of emotional support dog.  Sophie made him out of old leather jackets and harpy pelts from her mom’s monster hunting days, and shark teeth and glass eyes from her glass-blowing ex-beach bum dad.  Also some polyester stuffing.

Jesper specializes in being a little shit, not appreciating good jokes, leaving a mouthful of crumbs in the bottom of chip bags and putting them back, replacing a social life with media, and 100k AU gen fic about murder mystery tv shows.  

He, despite it probably being a bad idea, regularly ventures out into public on his own, on the basis that no one’s gonna bother a weird little demon who’s paying for things.  When asked what he is, he usually just says “Smoth”, or says “you know the Muppets? ...yeah” in an attempt to start a rumor that The Muppets were alive.

Jesper knuckles around on all fours, and can swing or just cling to things and climb.  If at all possible he’s either clinging to Sophie like a backpack, perched on her shoulders, or being carried like a toddler because walking’s for chumps.  He tends to tag along with her when she’s in public or unfamiliar settings to clear rooms, be a general comfort object, and help drag her to a less busy area if she starts to buzz out.

The whole thing about Knetz and wonho's "scandalous" past reminded me of something. As a PSA to those people who are so insistent and pushy that idols aren't allowed to have sex/date/be anything but straight: Fuck all of you. You do not own these people, and if you really cared about them you'd be happy if they were happy.
