Ok, I'm watching Repo! The Genetic Opera and am 20 minutes in. These are my observations:

The comic book style segments are really cool;

It's bringing me back to my Evanescence days;

The lyrics aren't Sondheim but I'm still enjoying bc, again, Evanescence vibes;

Like seriously, it's like an emo/goth kid from the 2000's got the fundings to make their own sci-fi dystopic horror musical of their dreams and it's delightful!

Although honestly the short "Keep them guessing" song Mr. Largo sings is pretty cool;

My Tomb Raider Fanfics Masterpost

So, now that I'm back to writing, I though I would make a post to gather and share all my Tomb Raider fanfics both in Spanish and English versions, in case anyone asks. :)

All my fanfics are TRAOD sequels - just one timeline and universe, focused on Lara and Kurtis' (Lartis) relationship throughout the years - and you can read them in this order. I'll put the main ones that can't be missed in capitals:

1. The Good In Him: One-shot focused on Lara and Werner’s feud after Egypt and right before the events of TRAOD. Old, basic, but still cute at some point.

2. The Louvre Affair: First one-shot I ever wrote, only vestige of a TRAOD novelization I never got to write. Describes the Louvre sequence from Lara’s POV. Very basic, still fond of it.

3. THE GOLDEN SEAL: My first TRAOD sequel. The story about the immediate events after the Strahov. 29 chapters. Slow-burn, sexual tension.

4. LILITH'S SCEPTER: Post-The Golden Seal events. Rated Mature (triggers: sex, violence, strong language, rape/non-con, gore, death of major characters). 51 chapters. The longest so far, a wild ride.

5. Daughter: Christmas one-shot after the events of Lilith's Scepter. Focused also on Lara and Werner's feud, but providing closure.

6. Mr Vance Renner: NSFW one-shot. Smut. Mature. Consensual sex.

7. Airlock: NSFW one-shot. Smut. Mature. Consensual sex. Trigger: choking.

8. A Stack Of Photos: One-shot post-Lilith’s Scepter events. Rated Mature. Violence.

9. THE AWAKENING: Mini fanfic (6 chapters). Introducing an important semi-OC who exists since Lilith’s Scepter and was part of Core Design’s headcanon to the sequels of TRAOD.

10. THE LEGACY: Ongoing fanfic (29 chapters by now). Post-The Awakening events. Rated mature. Graphic violence. Death of a Major Character. Soon to be updated.

Ahora que he vuelto a escribir, he pensado en hacer este masterpost para compartir mis fanfics de Tomb Raider, tanto en español como en inglés. Todos mis fanfics son continuaciones de TRAOD: una sola línea temporal y un universo, centrados en la relación de Lara y Kurtis (Lartis) a lo largo de los años, y podéis leerlos en este orden. Pondré los principales que no te puedes perder en mayúscula:

1. Lo Bueno Que Hay en Él: One-shot centrado en la disputa entre Lara y Werner después de Egipto y justo antes de los eventos de TRAOD.

La navidad si existe en este mundo de "El Otro Lado de la Magia". Solo que esta celebración en vez de "Navidad" se llama "El Día de Kranylia".

Básicamente se festeja la victoria de la humanidad al prevalecer a pesar de su dura batalla con la bestia, y claro, la ayuda de Kranylia, quien, aunque tiene una imagen física como tal, para los niños es como tal una criatura de adoración, pero para los adultos, es más simbólico.

Como si Kranylia fuera la fuerza y determinación de los humanos de ese entonces manifestado en un solo ser. Hace mucho los humanos renunciaron a adorar alguna divinidad, pero Kranylia es la excepción. La idea de "La Bestia" también se usa para asustar a los niños respecto a que si se portan mal, "La Bestia" regresaría para llevárselos.

Y aunque realmente Kranylia nunca existio, como lo mencione hace mucho tiempo, la misma muerte fue la que se encargó de derrotar a "La Bestia", los humanos se esforzaron por olvidarlo y cambiar su imagen a la ahora entidad Kranylia. Claramente Mr. Corpse no busca reconocimiento, y arruinar una celebración tan bella solo para obtener crédito por lo que hizo no es algo que lo represente. Pocos son los que recuerdan quien realmente derroto a "La Bestia", entre ellos, los hermanos de la naturaleza, al igual que Rosalie, la reina fantasma, al esta conocer más sobre la misma muerte y las historias que lo rodean a lo largo de su existencia.

Three years ago, Tramell Tillman hatched a long-term plan to be invited to the Met Gala.

He would turn heads in a superfine suit at New York Fashion Week. Capitalize on being cast in a buzzy role in the enigmatic Apple TV+ thriller “Severance.” Take a walk through the New York Botanical Garden for a soul-baring profile. Land a part in the latest “Mission: Impossible” film.

So when this spring the invitation arrived in the inbox of his stylist, Chaise Dennis, “he shared his screen with me so I could see he wasn’t lying,” Mr. Tillman said in a phone call from Los Angeles on Saturday.

“I was on the verge of tears,” said the actor, 39, who stars as the cheerfully menacing manager Seth Milchick in “Severance.”

And then came the big question: What should he wear?

Selecting a designer was easy: Thom Browne, whose designs he had previously worn while promoting Season 2 of “Severance” in London. But when it came to the look for this occasion, said Mr. Tillman, who grew up the youngest of five in what he calls a “stylish” family in Largo, Md., he wanted to be intimately involved in its creation.

He took inspiration from a production of the Tyla Abercrumbie play “Relentless,” which he saw in Chicago in 2022. The show is set in 1919 and tells the story of two Black sisters’ discovery of their late mother’s diaries, which reveal secrets about their family’s past in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. The play also introduced him to the stories of Black artists like the actor Ira Aldridge and the composer Samuel Coleridge-Taylor.

With his look, he really wanted to lean into the “opulence and regality” of that era, he said, “and, in a beautiful way, through fashion, honor the lives of these humans that we don’t hear about often.”

The ensemble centers on a pinstriped black velvet tailcoat, worn with a black silk cummerbund, a striped oxford shirt and a black silk bow tie. Elongated coattails complete a look composed of more than 18,000 beads that took 300 hours to embroider by hand.

From Mr. Browne’s perspective, Mr. Tillman was an ideal collaborator.

“It was a nice conversation with Tramell because he’s very intelligent, and the way he appreciates and approaches these things is as a true pro,” Mr. Browne, 59, said in phone conversation from his New York office on Sunday, where he was finishing up fittings for the 22 stars he will dress this year.

For Mr. Tillman, whose interest in fashion has grown over the years, how he dresses is inextricably linked to how he understands his identity, whether in real life or onscreen.

“Every piece of clothing has its own form of storytelling,” he said. “For instance, with Milchick, how he’s dressed is very specific to how his character presents himself.”

So what would his “Severance” character think of his Met Gala look?

Mr. Tillman laughed.

“I think he would be positively agog,” he said.
