Steve’s parents running into Steve and Eddie with a gaggle of children.

They’re hanging off of both adults, calling them mom and dad.

“Steve, what’s going on here?” Richard Harrington asks.

“Co-parenting.” Steve replies in a deadpan tone. Max is actively pickpocketing him and Dustin is tugging on his jacket trying to get Steve’s attention, a never ending chorus of ‘Mom, come look’ leaving his mouth.

“Nah, at this point we’re just parenting.” Eddie corrects, fending off a grabby El trying to play with his wallet chain.

Eddie scoops up Steve’s wallet when Max tries to make her escape. She groans out a frustrated ‘Dad’ before retreating back to Lucas and Mike, who are hiding around the corner, poorly.

“Richard, I think this is the reason we only had one.” Martha Harrington stated blankly, wide eyed taking in the scene in front of her.

Robin nods from where she sits at an adjacent table, trying and mildly failing to braid Will’s short hair. Will sits perfectly still and disciplined as Robin works. A complete contrast to the wild children that Steve and Eddie are actively managing.

“I picked the best one.” Robin smiles condescendingly at Steve and Eddie, patting Will’s head.

Never shutting up about how there are two separate plotlines in season 2 that directly parallel Mike and Eleven in season 1 and Mike calls both of stupid, crazy, and immature.

He thinks having a crush on Max is rash and can't happen in just a week. And he thinks caring for Dart is an irresponsible decision with no justifiable reasoning.

Insane choice for the *only* character in the show to canonically hate the Mike and El trope to be Mike.

thinking about steve in that first scene in nancys bedroom back in season one. thinking about how goofy and flirty and charming and playful he was being. thinking about him being like that with eddie, and how eddie would react to that version of steve. the whole talking in a silly voice, acting as that stuffed bear, the whole “bad steve :( don’t do that to miss nancy :( “ and “you are beautiful nancy wheeler”.

eddie plays dnd, even more so, he DMs dnd games, he stands up on tables in cafeterias and makes big theatrical scenes to rant about issues he has strong stances on — that man knows how to put on a show, and enjoys to watch one too. see: immediately accepting erica into hellfire as a replacement after seeing her go on one of her tangents, showing off her attitude and how she isn’t afraid to get in your face to get her way. he LOVESS that shit. lives for it. seeks it out. so when steve starts getting like that around him he would just crumble immediately i just know it.

I just think it would be pretty funny if in between those moments where we see i!barry being there for alan he'd be hanging with a scratch that hasn't found yet his true calling (being 2012's failed tumblr sexyman killing people). I think they would dislike each other, lmfao, but at the end of the day they weren't That different at the time (a dark construct with the face of another man)

also I like the idea of scratch trying to egg him into killing alan and barry finding him annoying, only for him to actually try to kill alan because insane!alan twisted him enough to do so. poetic justice or smth 😌
