I know the Tencent San Ti/ 3 Body show could not include any grand Cultural Revolution scenes because it had to walk a pretty tight line to avoid accusations of engaging in historical nihilism, but to me, episode 11 of the Tencent show is in a way more devastating than the visuals we get in the opening scene of episode 1 of the Netflix show (where we see a full-blown struggle session).

One of the most terrifying abilities that authoritarian states have is to completely isolate a person from all relationships that were ever meaningful to them by forcing people to betray each other. When you've been singled out for criticism and attack, you don't just have to deal with denunciations launched against you by strangers or an anonymous state (which is terrifying enough), you have to listen as your colleagues, your friends, your parents, your children, your spouse, etc. all come forward and denounce you.

What the Tencent show manages to do is quietly build a relationship that provides two characters comfort in an otherwise extremely cold, hostile environment, and then take a hammer and shatter it to pieces. And that is some powerful stuff.

Nebenbäche

Die Ova da Mulin und die Lavatera sind die beiden ersten und beiden letzten Nebenbäche des Inn. Sicher hat er auch später noch Nebenbäche, aber die beiden sind ihm gleichauf. Ihre Namen treten auf eine Art und Weise zurück, dass man das so sagen kann, dass sie zurücktreten. Man muss schon in den Papieren nachschauen, ob das so mit rechten Dingen zuging, dass der Fluss auch hinter dem Silser See, in den alle diese Bäche fließen, wieder Inn heißt und nicht etwa ab da dann Lavatera oder Ova da Mulin.

Ab da sind aber die Konkurrenzen geklärt, und irgendwann erwischt es den Inn ja auch, denn dass der Fluss ab Passau Donau und nicht mehr Inn heißt, das ist auch Rücktritt, ein harter Rücktritt - und am Ende des Inns will man wieder in die Papiere schauen um zu kontrollieren, ob das so seine Richtigkeit hat. Dazwischen, also vom Ende des Silser Sees bis nach Passau lässt sich aber nicht bestreiten, dass der Inn der Inn und nur der Inn der Inn ist. Der Inn ist schöner, wilder als die Donau, er ist vor allem das was sie nicht ist: ein Gebirgsfluss, der das ganze Jahre seine Farben wechselt, auch wenn er ganz grundsätzlich immer auch beim Grün bleibt, aber grün ist nicht grün. Er ist grün, nicht schlammig.

New Sapphina

For this year's art fight I did a Sapphina redesign to make her more in line with her new Patron the Red Knightess, making her an avatar of the apocalypse. Not literal end times but a change in the status quo by way of positive conflict.

I'm posting the aspect of. Family next as I have yet to have time to work on the combo aspect of cataclysms! I have mostly been busy with many side projects and wanted to at least get another analysis out while I have a creative mind set, again all of these combos belong to @superxstarzz so please go and check out their blog! They are a amazing artist!!

The aspect that is up next is family!

The family aspect is a combo aspect of rage and blood! Now let's break rage and blood down into key words, emotions, and other things so we can understand them better!

Rage: negative, positive and neutral emotions. Mental stability, emotions in general, emotional issues, pessimistic, tough love, hard outer shell and distance, hate for lies, values the truth more than anything.

Blood: bonds, loyalty, friendship, relationships, Platonic, neutral and romantic feelings. Sometimes literal blood, kinship, leadership, therapist friend, fatherly/motherly/older sibling like energy, protective of people they care for.

Much like the space aspect I see the blood aspect having a motherly/fatherly/oldersibling like energy to it. Blood is the aspect dealing with the relationships of not only the player but of the people the player, to make this a little more detailed let's bring in karkat and only karkat because I don't know much about kankri lol

Karkat is our beta troll blood player, he is a knight player as well which tells us a lot about his session, while semi success it still lacked in the end.

Karkat being a blood player naturally made him feel like he needed to be the leader (he was in his own sense even if the rest of the trolls made fun of him for being a try hard and being up everyone's ass) he made himself the leader even though a leader in the eyes of the other trolls wasn't really needed or they just didn't give a shit. Karkat is somewhat protective of his group from what I remember, he is always there to give advice to the other players that need it as well as everyone usually flocks to him for advice n such weather they like it or not, he helps his friends by helping them with their bonds to his best ability. He uses his knight ability mixed with blood aspect to protect the others and build their bonds while maybe not with him but helps them build it with the others and he slowly builds a bond with himself if I'm. Correct

Now for rage, the only rage player I think I have a little info on is kurloz as he is a prince of rage I believe?

Kurloz is a prince of rage for the dancester trolls session which had failed if I'm correct? I think the only ones to God tier was areena and kankri I think correct me if I'm wrong.

Kurloz in the session before death and the dream bubbles had accidentally let out a screech of emotions and deafend mulin(? Can't remember how to spell her name) making her deaf, as a response of the destruction he cause to his matesprite (idk if that is cannon) he sews his mouth shut to join mulin in her now silence, he destroyed a piece of his lover with his negative emotions and then destroyed a piece of himself with the same emotions in hand.

Now onto the aspect of family.

Family: I can see the aspect of family being a balance or imbalance of emotions and relationships, a player of family can either have little to no emotions, a overwhelming amount of them where it's unbearable even for themselves, little to no relationships or many many many relationships. People who become hero's of family usually take on the patental/sibling like role in their own or their sessions lifespan as they are natural family bound people, they care to deeply or care not at all, as a hero of family you may be bound to also being the therapist friend as well, caring for others while you care for yourself, hero's of family value honesty and loyalty to a fault and are either enforced leaders or natural born leaders. Heros of family can also be over bearing with concern or worry for their friends and may even forget to care for themselves as they care for others much like a parent would a child.

Powers of the aspect of family

Words of encouragement: depending on class words of encouragement can be used to heal the mental health of a person or yourself in session or during strife, the stronger the encouragement the more powerful you become.

Human shield: depending on class you can make a shield out of yourself or the fallen side of the enemy to protect other people on your team or you yourself

Manipulate: being a person of family you can easily find a way to manipulate the minds of. Others so you can stay the main protection or provider of your team, coming up with ways for you to make your teams life easier can be to. Much of. A issue right?

Backfire: when someone finds out in your session that you lied about certain things you can manipulate the negative impact of emotions for the benefit of the team.

I hope this turned out okay, sorry cataclysms isn't the second aspect on the list I originally planned for it to be but I had this drafted up already and had no time today to really do cataclysms yet, I promise it will be soon tho! Please do enjoy everyone!

alright I just started watching netflix 3 body problem, it's so western and white humour (bc it is western produced duhhh)

I'm only half way through ep1, it has this weird uncanny "woke women agenda" going on. We gotta admit Liu Cixin is probably not the best at writing women characters, or many for that matter of fact. I get that netflix is trying to diversify this whole story, there's a bunch of snarky "clever" kind of dialogues, if they thought Li Cixin had too little women in the story, they should just change the gender of them (which they did) and move on. But then they have this weirdo in a bar asking what the women do for a living... then men commenting on how good a woman looked at a funeral and gossiping about her boyfriend as well 😅 there's also dialogue directed at a woman saying "are you two fighting right now...or fucking? Oh! Fighting and fucking..." mate, I am uncomfortable, HELP!

AND YE WENJIE HAS SEX(implied) WITH BAI MULIN - literally what was the need for this!!!??????? THIS TOTALLY CHANGES HER ENTIRE CHARACTER PHILOSOPHY

Ok so I'm on ep 14 of tencent 3 Body and ok. I see ppl saying that the Netflix version was better because it showed the cultural Revolution and it's barely a blip in the Chinese one. And after seeing how tencent did it all I can think is wtf at these ppl. The chinese version does leave out the visual of her dad dying so you can have whatever feeling you want on that, however, it makes it really clear that what she went through was horrible. Ppl mention her dad in hushed voices, and ppl reference that she went through violence.

Past that tho is at the working camp I actually feel is much stronger than Netflix. You see a person who is broken down and just doing what she needs to do. Then she meets Bai Mulin and you can actually see the warmth and some hope return to her. This is way better than the Netflix version!! And then when she is called to the higher ups you even see her superior caring about her?!! It's only after the meeting when the atmosphere is going against her that he also switches. So it's like Bai Mulin is a big betrayal but also get supervisor also being like that just shows the environment they're in, so when older Ye Wenjie says she doesn't blame them, you can understand because if they didn't behave that way then they would've been taken away. Obv she's still upset by it but unfortunately she can also understand. It's heartbreaking! This happens in like 5 min in the Netflix version, pls. But at least you get to see her dad die.

Also omg older Ye Wenjie is already killing it when you first meet her, like there's a sort of mystery to her that you do not get in the Netflix version when you first meet her. Already better! Omg.

I will say the Chinese version is slower and probably could've been edited better here and there but I'm still enjoying it way more than the Netflix version. You really feel for Ye Wenjie more. Also there's just more science and philosophies going on here.

If you really need to watch her dad die you can literally start with the Netflix version since that's what it starts with and then after that scene just switch on over to China but know you have to wait until ep 10 for her story to begin.

Mam ponad 48 h postu. Nie jestem ani trochę głodna, a brzuch co chwilę zapełniam herbatą. Jak narazie schudłam kilogram i zobaczymy jak będzie jutro.

Planowałam go do niedzieli popołudnia, ale zobaczymy - może uda mi się do poniedziałku 🤍

Wstałam późno, obejrzałam film o bu1im1, pouczyłam się historii, grałam w minecraft z rodzeństwem i co najważniejsze - pojechałam rowerem do miasta żeby kupić sobie włóczki i muline do bransoletek. Mega się stresowałam bo cały dzień bolała mnie głowa z braku jedzenia. Ciągle byłam jakoś nieobecna i mega wystraszona. Na szczęście pani za kasą była mega miła. Bałam się że mogę zemdleć ale było okej.

Spaliłam dzisiaj 240 kcal.
