My Masterlist! ~ AO3 Link!

You hummed to yourself as you carefully picked the ripe berries from one of Primo's pristine strawberry plants. You waved as you saw a familiar face round the corner. "Swiss, hey!" The multi ghouls wrapped you in a side hug as he approaches you.
"(Y/N), good to see you." He flashes you a sharp smile. "Would you like some help in the garden today?" You nodded with a soft laugh.
"You know help harvesting is always appreciated." He ushers his companion forward. You recognized him as one of the new Ghouls that had just been summoned. You hadn't really gotten the chance to talk to him yet, you had only exchanged a few small waves as you passed by him in the halls, you also would always give him a warm smile in hopes he would eventually warm up to you. "Hi Phantom." You see a small grin pass over his lips as he realizes you knew his name.
"We're trying to get him more comfortable with interacting with the Siblings. I was hoping he could help you out here." Phantom shifted awkwardly in his heels, you were unable to meet his gaze.
"Of course he can, I'll bring him back down to the Ghoul's Den after we're done out here." Swiss dismissed himself with a nod and a wave, briefly stopping to whisper something in Phantom's ear before clapping him on the shoulder and walking off. "Come on, let's go get you a basket." You motioned for him to follow you. You slowed your pace to allow yourself the chance to slip beside him. "How have you been adjusting so far? I'm sure this is a pretty big change for you." His eyes darted to look at you, he seemed a bit shocked that you were able to talk to him so casually.
"It's definitely a bit of a shock." He chuckles, you try your best to hide your excited expression over his response. "I honestly feel like most of the Siblings are scared of me."
"A lot of them have never been exposed to a freshly summoned Ghoul before. I'm sure they're just a little hesitant because they're not sure how to interact with you. I, however, think you seem very sweet Phantom." You glance over at him with a smile. He just looks down at the ground, folding his hands neatly behind his back. You got him set up with his own basket of gardening tools, he listened very intently to your instructions about how to harvest the produce properly without harming the plant. He watched you closely, lavender eyes scanning over your delicate fingers as you worked. The two of you moved from plant to plant, working slowly as you took time to answer whatever questions he had for you. After a while he actually seemed to be having fun, he slowly became more relaxed in your presence. He jumped down from a low rock wall out of the flower bed, almost instinctively offering you his hand. He looked back at you, almost recoiling at his own gesture. You reached out without a moment of hesitation, your fingers gliding over his palm. He breathes out a chuckle as he notices how his hand could completely engulf yours.
"You're so small." His eyes widen slightly as he suddenly drops your hand, apologizing profusely, causing you to laugh.
"Phantom, it's okay." You motioned to his hand. "May I?" He nodded slowly, you gently grabbed his palm in both your hands, your thumbs running soothingly over his skin. You pressed your hands together, allowing him a moment to look at the size difference between the two. "Your hands are really warm, it's nice." You smile at him.
"I-um," he trails off, swallowing thickly. "Would it be alright if I saw you again?" He inches forward slightly, a nervous glint in his eyes. You nod, a smile quickly spreading across your features.
"I'd like that." Phantom hesitantly pulled his hand away from yours, allowing his touch to linger in your until the very last moment. The two of you brought your fresh produce to the kitchen before you walked with him down to the Ghoul's Den.
"I hope he didn't give you too much trouble." Swiss says with a laugh.
"He wasn't any trouble at all, I had a really nice time with you today Phantom." He nods bashfully.
"Hopefully I'll be able to see you soon." He smiles softly at you, trying to hide his fangs.
"I'm always in the library in the evenings if you'd like to come keep me company." You bite your lip to try and hide your excited smile. "I'll see you later Phantom, bye Swiss." You dismiss yourself with a wave, practically skipping back to your dorm for the night. The next night you found yourself waiting anxiously as you wondered whether or not Phantom would actually show up. You sat before a roaring fire, curled up on one of the couches in the room as you skimmed through the book you had chosen, barely able to focus on the words on the page. You sat up a bit straighter as you heard the heavy door open on the opposite side of the room. Phantom slinks out of the shadows, offering you a small wave as he steps into the soft orange glow that surrounds you.
"Would it be alright if I joined you?" You nodded, scooting over to offer him a space to sit. He was rigid as he sat down, sitting up straight as he nodded at you. "You look really pretty tonight." You can't help but blush at his statement.
"Thank you." Phantom seemed even more flustered than you felt. "I'm really happy you came." You see him swallow thickly, his gaze landing on your lips.
"I am too." He admits with a bashful chuckle. "Can I admit something?" You nod, he cautiously reaches out and takes your hands in his. "I'm still learning how to interact with humans, but I've found myself feeling very attracted to you." You felt your cheeks heat up, your eyes widened slightly at his confession. You found yourself inching closer to him, his warm breath bouncing off your lips. "Can I?" He asks softly, you could feel his lips ghost over yours he was so close. You gave his hands a gentle squeeze.
"We'll take it nice and slow, okay?" He nods in response, pausing and waiting for you to take the lead. You gently run your fingers over the exposed skin of his cheek under his mask. His eyes slid shut as your lips finally found his. His grip on your hand tightens slightly as he presses himself into you. You slowly slid your hand around to the back of his neck, you hum softly as the feeling of his soft hair brushing over your fingers. Your body jolts slightly and drops your hands to let his fingers run over your waist. He tenderly squeezes at your flesh as you pull him in as close as you could manage. You parted with soft gasps, your gaze meeting one another's as soon as your eyes opened. "You're a really good kisser." You giggle causing him to get flustered.
"I'd like to do that again if that's alright." You nod, leaning into him once more. This time Phantom's lips met yours with a greater ferocity, hands grabbing hungrily at your hips while still making sure he didn't hurt you accidentally. His lips left yours, trailing across your jaw and down your neck. He nuzzles his face against your skin, your breath shudders as you try to steady your breathing. He takes your hand, slowly bringing it up to the buckle on his mask, silently asking you to remove it. Your fingers shook as you worked at the strap, eventually sliding it out of the buckle so you were able to fully remove it. His raven hair tumbled into his face, you couldn't resist reaching out to run your fingers through the soft strands. He takes a moment to study your expression, he was met with your soft gaze that held nothing short of pure adoration. "You're… you're not scared of me?"
"No," he carefully pulled you into his lap, his head lulled into your touch as you continued to play with his hair. "I think you're very handsome." His warm lips pressed against your pulse, sending a shiver down your spine.
"(Y/N)?" You hum in response to your name. You can't help but blush as Phantom's hands slide over the curve of your ass. "How slow would you like to take things?"

I like to imagine since Swiss was called Shadow for a brief period of time that he picked the name Swiss Army Ghoul
He absolutely hated being “just a shadow” but didn’t know what he wanted to be known as until he learned what a multi-tool was
He laughed for a good 5 minutes because he’s a multi-ghoul and then from that day on he was Swiss

(more) Ghost Head Cannons
Rain loves thunderstorms. He is often found laying in the storms.
Copia gets really sad whenever he hears a song from meliora, He greatly misses Terzo, and the thought of him makes him cry.
Sister makes Copias dating life miserable. she always walks in his room unannounced with juice boxes and little snacks.
the "hang in there" cat poster in Copias room is the last thing Terzo ever gave him and he wishes Terzo was still around.
Mountain often hits his head on things in the ministry.
Swiss and Aurora battle eachother at the dinner table because they both want to be the "best multi-ghoul"
Sister once gave Swiss a multi tool, that was engraved with "multi-ghoul" for christmas.
Aurora stole that multi tool from swiss

Letters from the Ministry #4
Sorry, they just keep tumbling out..l😭
Mr “Swiss” Multi Ghoul
Room 669
Ghoul Lairs - 4th Era Den
Ministry Headquarters
11 December 2023
Dear Swiss,
Following our meeting today with the Head of IT, I am writing to confirm the temporary suspension of your internet priviledges.
As a church dedicated to sin, we celebrate all forms of deviant revelry and the internet serves as a useful tool in our endeavours. We pride ourselves on our liberal approach to the earthside internet. With the obvious exceptions of non-consensual, harmful or exploitative activities, there are very few dark corners of the web that would trigger our IT Acceptable Usage Policy. You appear to have found them. Our Head of IT - I quote - “did not know whether to be impressed or appalled” and noted that what he found in your browser history “would make Satan himself blush”.
You suspension will last for a period of 28 days, increasing to 90 days should you attempt to use another resident’s account to gain access to more depraved shit. Once you have completed your suspension you will be required to carry out a period of community payback which, in this instance, will involve helping Papa Emeritus the Third (Emeritus) in the upkeep of his OnlyFans account.
NemA and kindest regards,
Ministry (In)Human Resources

⸻Physical Information. // Body, Equipment, Family, etc.
012. Physical Description. Viresca is 5'4" and her hair is ash brown with some tealy green highlights cut in a chin-length bob with some covering her eye to conceal a scar. Her eyes are gray-green, open, wide, and somewhat gentle despite their relative coldness. There is a scar caused by a blast of cursed magic spidering over the right half of her face, from the crux of her jaw and up to her forehead, twisted and gnarled in shape as if the mark of a painful, failed or insincere curse - magic gone awry due to incompetence. Beyond that, her fingers show a myriad of little scars all over, presumably caused by diligent work in a garden. Beyond this, she is covered head to toe in lightly-pigmented freckling and has a small, light, smudge-like birthmark behind her right ear. She'll casually wear slightly tighter clothes and knee-high leather boots perfect for traveling or adventuring - and she always looks nice. Clean, proper, and not an inch of her skin from the neck down visible in any way. She's altogether rather modest and not necessarily for propriety or dignity's sake. Rather, she gets cold easily (it comes with being a string bean), thus she prefers to wear thicker, heavier cloaks and long-sleeved tops nearly year-round. She tends to wear strictly green, black, teal, and silver/dark gray clothing with extravagant patterns and fabric types, though leather, wool, and satin seem to be staples. It's exceedingly rare for her to wear anything frilly, as she much prefers to appear sharp and sleek - she wants to look like she can walk the walk as much as she can talk the talk. She always wears a set of black gloves as well.
013. Equipment. She keeps an infinite sack full of: Alchemical ingredients, husbandry tools, a pair of singing stones with which she calls her basilisk Gehenna & owl Morrigan, her black marble catalytic wand, an obsidian palmseal, keys to the Mandragora mansion, a palm-sized, tarnished silver traveling mirror, proprietary draught blends, recipes, her blackbound grimoire, and honestly a lot of other things. 014. Occupation. Owner and Proprietor of the Flytrap, an alchemical supply store in Belle's Hollow ; She inherited the shop from her parents, but didn't start running it until after she'd graduated from Belegerande's 015. Job Performance. Well-liked ; Since she keeps the family shop so well-stocked, in terms of quantity, variety, and quality, she's developed a positive reputation and solid place among Valley denizens. 016. Parents. Lutesce Blackwood & Agrivayne Mandragora, both tragically killed in an attempt to protect her from a band of murderous poachers. 017. Siblings. None
⸻Personality Information. // Likes, Strengths, etc.
018. Likes. Fine art, piano music, learning, herbalism, reading (multi-genre, non-specific, just…reading), wandering Belle's Hollow, dragons, watching the town ghosts try to kill each other again, flying, sneaking into places she shouldn't be, Halloween, full moon nights, bloodwine, chatting with Gehenna, exploring, collecting rare materials (ethically), etc. 019. Dislikes. Poachers, spiders, vegetables, most chocolates, moral grandstanding, tomatoes, people who are unkind to knockers and service workers besides, again poachers, undead (including vampires), people who are obsessed with blood status, snow, winter time, tight spaces, pungent smells, sharing, spicy food, sleeping, etc.
020. Alignment. Chaotic Good 021. Positive Traits. Resilient. Resourceful. Persevering. Diligent. Sure-footed. Loyal. Friendly. Generally open-minded. Supportive. Thoughtful. Modest. Respectful. 021. Negative Traits. Detached. Manipulative. Mistrustful. Reckless. Something of an enabler. A little dense. Pessimistic. Lies of omission. Secretive. Some questionable ethics. 022. Goals & Desires. Her goal is to attain as much knowledge and power as possible, put it to practice, and lay waste to the poaching industry as a whole - make it unprofitable and a hundred times as risky. Eventually, she would also like to change public opinion and philosophy regarding magic as a whole in the interest of furthering advancement for nightfolk. She believes nightfolk have stagnated significantly and needs a right kick in the ass to start moving again; If that means challenging popular opinion on divisive matters as magic itself and its practice, then so be it. She also wants to see nightfolk and humans coexist properly, for the secrecy laws to be repealed, as she believes both humans and nightfolk have much to learn from each other by way of practicality and science. She also sees the DRS as a flawed and complacent system in dire need of replacing precisely because of the secrecy laws and strict regulation of magic.
She aspires to become a great woman like her mother, and her goals absolutely include becoming a Sorcier among them. She is also set on mastering the art of transformation, no matter how tedious she's learned the process actually is. Becoming a skilled tamer and herbalist are also on the list (family tradition). Eventually, she would also quite like to start a family, but isn't entirely certain if that is the right choice given that it may conflict with the bulk of her goals.
023. Personality. She has the capability of being quite the spitfire, but a cold fire is more accurate. She is outwardly friendly but incredibly impersonal, tending to keep anyone from getting to know her. This is a defense mechanism she's been making use of so long, she hardly notices it anymore. It's incredibly difficult for her to properly connect to other people, often treating her interactions with other people as transactional; On the flip side, this means she sees them as purposeful and, therefore, not merely a waste of time.
Again, she is quite friendly and always willing to help, but she does not help out for free - she does expect the other end of the bargain to be upheld, which may or may not incidentally deepen a relationship depending on the circumstances. She's quite frank about it, too, but not in an insulting manner - just straightforward, unless she believes her favors will be returned naturally. She's also distrustful of others, beyond her natural defensiveness, and rarely trusts what they might say - a feature of anxiety. Kind words often fall on deaf ears, but so do cruel ones - actions, however, are quite different.
Now, with all the negatives laid out, Viresca is strong-willed, stubborn, and persistent; There is nothing she can't do without a bit of time to figure it out, though she's actually fairly quick-minded. Solving puzzles and riddles, getting creative with her magic and mixing in a bit of practical technique, as well as her combat prowess make her a formidable ally. Should she ever be beaten in a duel, she is graceful in her defeat - that is, she's not a sore loser - and should she win, she accepts victory with the same amount of grace, modest and fair.
She has a passion for learning and trying new things, her nose often buried in an old book (probably stolen from the Restricted Section) or practicing new and old spells. Likewise, the same goes for any number of things. She's quite the quick learner and she often finds enjoyment in all magical things. She is fascinated by the taboo and completely unafraid of bending and breaking the rules to satisfy her curiosity, so forbidden magic is a common thing for her to research.
She doesn't outright hate anything or anyone - indifference is the correct word for her here. She is unflinchingly tough and once she has her heart or mind set on something, she'll never back down. She meets every challenge with the seriousness it deserves. For as tough and cold as she may be, she is surprisingly gentle and even... paradoxically, warm. There is much she doesn't understand, yet she understands more than you might think at first glance. She's patient, deliberate, careful, and tender when it matters the most. Besides, she has a few tells and, if you know where to find them, they can be easily exploited. She doesn't lie, but avoids the truth.
Her impersonality does not reflect on her intelligence. She can quite read a room or pick apart another person's expressions or emotions, but she is not at all liberal with her own. She's prone to nightmares. Occasional night terrors, complete with screaming, but certainly more often sitting bolt upright in the middle of the night in a cold sweat and intense fear of going back to sleep. She feels perpetually unsafe and being haunted by the memory of your parents' murder will do that to you, but this explains a lot. She can sometimes be playful, prideful, sarcastic, and even happy, but she's bottling so much of the pain, grief, fear, and anger inside her. She is tired and has already established herself as a Strong and Capable™️ witch, it would be wrong to shatter that expectation, so she must remain strong, no matter how weak she is in actuality. A vicious cycle, for her. She would loathe for anyone to see her as the broken-hearted, terrified girl she really is.
⸻Sorcery Information. // Element, Talent, etc.
026. Element. Earth, some expertise in Necrotic - moderate control, but especially talented with an array of earth-based magic. 027. Shapeshifting. Scraggly, wiry, gray fox transformation - she has no shifter blood in her, though she has been able to shift into at least an animal ; This was never her wheelhouse, but she was determined to remedy that... 028. Utility. Summoning, curses, dispel, alchemy, binding, telekinesis, clairvoyance, conjuration, husbandry, herbalism, illusions, barriers, growth, and minor healing. 029. Specialization. Fey, Thorn, Floral, Alchemy & Herbalism - each form of specialized earth magic happens to assist in nearly every aspect of running the Flytrap ; Fey magic is extraordinarily difficult to master, especially if the user is not Fey themselves, wild and volatile ; She is particularly adept in alchemy and herbalism in accordance with family tradition. 030. Graduate School. Belegerande’s School for the Arcane, House La Fey - the first of 11 total sorcery-centered schools established in North america in the 1500s; Quite a prestigious institution despite its current reputation. 031. Classification. Herbaflorist - An occupational classification belying talent and specialization in the tending of alchemical ingredients where it pertains to plants ; Herbal & alchemical supply shops require Herbafloral certifications in order to run.

⸻Background Information. // Past to Present. Warning for death, familial abuse, murder, grief, cops, etc.
Her parents, Lutesce Blackwood & Agrivayne Mandragora, were sorciers and this remained true even after she was born. Together, they lived somewhere in London, distant from the city center, comfortable if somewhat lonely. Throughout her childhood, due to how busy they were in their work, the rate in which she saw her parents dwindled to a measly percentage - but when she could be with them, their time together was of utmost quality. She was their focus, the very reason they were sorciers - to make the world a better and safer place for her to live in, where all nightfolk could live without worry. She respected them for it, believed them to be the very best sorcerer and witch in existence, above the Kingmaker and Morgan Le Fay and all others. When they were gone, her grandmother would care for her, but she was neither warm nor particularly caring. Old, wizened by her own experiences, her grandmother was quite strict and oftentimes unfair, and there were times she'd use magic to punish Viresca - nothing so severe she couldn't quickly heal from. Her relationship with her grandmother was contentious and uncomfortable at the best of times, but she persevered, patiently waiting for her parents to return.
Unfortunately, the year she was supposed to finally attend Belegerande's - having finally recieved her summons - she didn't, and her parents... Their final case focused on the investigation of a particularly nasty band of blackwyrm poachers and drug traffickers intent on shoving as many beasts into cages as was magically possible, funneling drugs into the Valley, and killing, torturing, or maiming any who got in their way. Lutesce and Agrivayne had been closing in on them, their investigation coming to a close, but they'd dug too deep and poked the wrong bear. When it was afforded to them, they returned home for a weekend in the summer, and they spent time together as a complete family - no work, no cruel grandmother, no sadness.
But, in the end, the poachers had found them and took advantage of their vulnerable family life. Her parents ushered her into the cellar and locked the door, calmly commanding her to keep quiet and never to come out no matter what happened. She did, and she listened with horror as her parents fought the poachers, crawling into the darkest corner of the cellar and staring at the door with terror. The fight went on for longer than it should have, and she realized what the end result would be - there were too many voices and not enough of them belonged to her mother and father. As it went on, they came closer to the cellar door and before much longer, she watched as the wood splintered and her father fell to the floor in a broken heap, the faint glow of volatile red magic robbing him of his life. She heard her mother scream, but she was speechless, and so, too, had her body been thrown into the cellar.
The poachers laughed and laughed, mad hyenas the lot of them, taking cruel pleasure in the calculated murder of her parents. She held herself, swallowing the knots in her throat and hot tears in her eyes; She muted every desperate scream, every horrified wail, but she just couldn't help herself. Foolishly, she crawled to them, into the pale moonlight as it struck the stone and her mother's lifeless eyes, and the poachers laughed. They laughed and they laughed and they laughed - and one, the leader of the group, struck her with accursed necrotic magic. All she knew was soul-rending agony, pain becoming familiar and intimate as her body shook and convulsed on the floor, such permanently scarring her face.
In the aftermath, she wasn't quite the same girl. Not nearly as hopeful, nor optimistic, nor trusting of others. Her grandmother's lack of kindness became a comfort - she knew it, familiar and true, the one thing that hadn't changed since her parents died. Her grandmother never blamed her, however, for what happened to her parents nor to her face. Still, she was unpleasant and cold, and still plenty spry enough to hex her when she felt like it. She taught Viresca all she would need to know in terms of magic, however, never once belittling her for her late-blooming. "You're just like your father. He was a late-bloomer, too," she said, and would remain the only kind thing her grandmother would ever say to her. For three years, she studied and practiced and kept trying until her magic manifested, and in that time, she grew closer to her grandmother. It was strange, but...Viresca left home knowing that she always had a place to even call home, dysfunctional and unwelcoming as it was.
Her grandmother helped her through the process of preparing for her schooling, all the while telling her little stories about her mother and father - when they were attending school, how she hated Lutesce. Viresca thought it amusing, but would take those little stories to her grave if she could. She vowed to use her time at Belegerande's constructively, to learn as much as she possibly could so she might one day put an end to the plague of poachers and foulest nightfolk mages - to make a difference, whatever that difference may be.
She might try to live for them, too.

Drowning In You
Swiss/Rain, fluff and smut, pining, masturbation, praise, anal sex
5.4k words
A certain water ghoul has captured poor Swiss’s heart, an experience he is very unfamiliar with.
The multi-ghoul hadn’t paid the little water ghoul much mind before they’d been brought onto the Ghost Project. They crossed paths once in a blue moon as they would go about their separate jobs around the abbey. But now, after months of being stuck in the music room with the band as they prepared for tour, he found himself thinking about his band mate more than he was willing to admit. During practice with lingering stares across the music room that would be met with a smile. The soft sound of his voice echoing in his mind when he was trying to work. In the wee hours of the morning, the other ghoul’s face in his mind with his hand wrapped around himself in a bed that now felt painfully empty. It was becoming a problem.
Then they got their names. The Swiss Army Ghoul and Rain. One evoking images of switchblades, tools, harsh and practical things that had no business interacting with the soft breezy thoughts conjured by the other’s name. He would hear someone say that name and think of the patter of rain on leaves in the early summer. Warm nights spent curled up in his blankets while a storm lashed at his windows, formidable and beautiful all the same. Rain was not supposed to be with Swiss. Rain deserved someone equally soft and gentle, like one of the girls. He would see them hanging around the bus together, usually accompanied by the gentle giant, Mountain. The earth ghoul was so frustratingly perfect for Rain. He wasn’t rough like Swiss, he didn’t pull and grab and say cruel things he didn’t mean. And yet, they didn’t seem to be heading in that direction at all. At least Swiss didn’t think so.
For the time being, Swiss would preoccupy himself with others. Dewdrop was especially willing, often seeking him out himself when they had the privacy of a hotel. They were just as harsh as each other, albeit for different reasons, and it slaked Swiss’s thirst for company to a degree. But when Dew would slink off back to his own room and leave him alone in that big hotel bed, Swiss would feel that emptiness return. Part of him wanted to storm down the hall and rattle Rain’s door until he let him in, claim the water ghoul as his own and get this all over with. But Swiss knew better than to go around forcing his way in where he didn’t belong. Sometimes he would go to Cumulus if he was especially desperate for someone kind and gentle and soft that would lie back and let him ravish them. She was so sweet, another one that definitely shouldn’t be mixing with someone like him, but she said she liked him anyway. Swiss often thought that ghouls like Cumulus and Rain were too good to really be demons. Maybe they were newly fallen, still to become jaded and cynical like him. He couldn’t imagine either of them doing the things he’d done in the pit.
It was Cumulus that pushed him to finally try talking to Rain. She was lying with him in his hotel room, their bodies sticky with sweat and sex and yet so comfortable. The ghoulette fit nicely against his body as he played with her silvery hair, watching it reflect the dim light of his bedside lamp.
“Why don’t you say something, what harm could it do?”
Swiss sighed, his brow furrowing.
“I’m just, I’m not good enough for him, y’know. I’m an asshole, he’s nice and sweet like you.”
Cumulus laughed, a sound like tinkling bells.
“That doesn’t stop you from fucking me though, does it? C’mon, Swiss, why won’t you just talk to him?”
“Because I’m scared.” He admitted for the first time. “I’m scared that if I go up and actually try to talk to him then I’ll just scare him off for good. You don’t scare me cause I know you like me.”
He nuzzled into the crook of Cumulus’s neck, thoroughly embarrassed by his own words. Cumulus had said it herself, told him that she thought he was a big softie underneath all the wild theatrics and that she enjoyed this little arrangement. Swiss liked her too, just not the way he liked Rain and she understood that.
“I can say something if you want, put in a good word for you.” She smiled, trailing her fingers up his arm.
“Oh, Satanus no, please. That would just make me look pathetic.”
“Then talk to him!” She laughed again. “I swear, for all your confidence on stage you sure are a wuss.”
Cumulus giggled when Swiss rolled her onto her back, throwing a leg over her hips to straddle her.
“I’m a wuss, huh?”
“Uh-huh, the biggest.” She knew he couldn’t stand being called names.
“Fine, but I think you’ve got some manners to learn first.” Swiss growled, his lips against her already marked up throat.

Ghouls attempting to assemble a desk, and all the ways it goes wrong. With Bonus Copia. Rated out of 10. Below the cut.
Aether: He tries to do it all by himself, because, really, how hard could it be? Spends half an hour trying to organize the pieces only to discover he didn’t even bring any tools to assemble the desk in the first place, and then he can’t find the type of screwdriver he needs, and he accidentally tossed the Allen wrench along with the box.
Attempts to assemble the desk using a butter knife to avoid asking for help/10.
Dewdrop: Brings Aether the toolbox after watching him struggle for an hour, and tries to shoo the other ghoul away so he can work on the desk instead, but they somehow manage to come to a compromise; They’ll each build half.
Surprise teamwork/10.
Multi/Swiss: Distracts Dew by saying something he knows will piss him off, because he wants to fight. It works, and Aether is back to trying to figure out the desk alone.
Instigator/10.
Rain: Tries to help Aether, but keeps accidentally getting in the way without meaning to and gets upset when the other gets mildly annoyed with him. Scurries away and Aether follows in order to apologize.
“I was just trying to help” “I know, I’m sorry”/10.
Mountain: Takes over working on the desk and manages to finish the main frame and starts on the drawers, but gets distracted by the sounds of Dew and Swiss fighting and decides to join in.
No one expects a flying leap from six feet away/10.
Cumulus: Picks up where Mountain left off and manages to get most of the desk finished before calling it “good enough”, and going off to spend her evening elsewhere.
“I did my part, now it’s me time”/10.
Cirrus: Notices the desk isn’t finished and that the boys are being all kinds of weird and decides it’s not worth the effort to unpack the situation.
Backing out of the room/10.
Sunshine: Finishes assembling the desk and puts it where it belongs only for Dew and Swiss to slam down on it, followed shortly thereafter by Mountain doing an elbow drop.
An intense feeling of defeat/10.
Bonus Copia: He bought the desk.
“Hi, yes, can I pay to have someone assemble this?”/10.

New Year, New Character 2: Day 15
Jennifer, Jenny from the Vault, Fallout: the Roleplaying Game Born and raised in Vault-Tec Vault 90, somewhere in the remains of up-state New York. Unbeknownst to the inhabitants, Vault 90 served as one of Vault-Tecs control samples for the experiments it was performing on vault dwellers. Vault 90 opened on schedule with as well-adjusted population as possible. Jennifer was born several generations later, after many years of interaction between Vault 90 and the wastelanders. Serving as a repair and maintenance technician she was largely content. Unfortunately for her, she was covering a friends shift when raiders attacked. Pinned down by gunfire, she was unable to repair damage to the vault door systems before the raiders could enter the vault. In the aftermath, the Overseer banished her from Vault 90. Jennifer is remarkably unequipped for surviving the wastelands and dangers outside the Vault. She is, however, very adept at making friends. Her first, a stray dog nicknamed Dogmeat, is her constant companion. Her second is the ghoul wander, Connery, who is trying to teach the young woman how not to die. It's A Time for the old man.

Are our exotics one of a kind?
Edit: there is some wiggle room as to whether or not the Young Wolf actually has some of these exotics because they have not received them in an exotic quest (Sweet Business, Cloudstrike, Wardcliff Coil, etc). I love Destiny lore. It's a game with wonderful and wonderfully complex lore, and I want to share some of it with you. To do that I have created the Compendium Armarum Exoticarum, the index of Destiny's exotic weapons. You don’t need to know anything about the game to appreciate these posts. You just need to know that these weapons have cool names and cool space powers and I want to tell you all about some neat future scifi space wizard gadgets and their stories.
Destiny items have five rarity tiers: common, uncommon, rare, legendary, and exotic. Exotic weapons and armor are super rare and far more unusual than other equipment. These are the weird ones, the gimmicks and game-breakers - guns that shoot black holes, vests that turn you invisible, swords that slice through spacetime. A character can only equip one exotic weapon and one piece of exotic armor at a time, so character loadouts are often built around the choice of exotics. Many exotics also have deep story connections or are rewards for lengthy questlines. So, because of their importance, they get the most attention from Bungie’s artists & writers. Each has a unique appearance & aesthetic, often with animations and particle effects, and about a page’s worth of unique associated lore - plus the best names.
Compendium Armarum
[ Ace of Spades | Ager's Scepter | Anarchy | Arbalest | Bad Juju | Bastion | Black Talon | Borealis | Cerberus+1 | The Chaperone | Cloudstrike | Coldheart | Collective Obligation | The Colony | Crimson | Cryosthesia 77K | DARCI | Dead Man's Tale | Dead Messenger | Deathbringer | Devil's Ruin | Divinity | Duality | Edge of Action/Concurrence/Intent | Eriana’s Vow | Eyes of Tomorrow | Fighting Lion | The Fourth Horseman | Forerunner | Gjallarhorn | Grand Overture | Graviton Lance | Hard Light | Hawkmoon | Heir Apparent | The Huckleberry | Izanagi’s Burden | The Jade Rabbit | Jötunn | The Lament | The Last Word | Legend of Acrius | Leviathan’s Breath | Lord of Wolves | Lorentz Driver | Lumina | Malfeasance | Merciless | MIDA Multi-Tool | Le Monarque | Monte Carlo | No Time To Explain | One Thousand Voices | Osteo Striga | Outbreak Perfected | Parasite | Polaris Lance | Prometheus Lens | The Prospector | Queenbreaker | Rat King | Riskrunner | Ruinous Effigy | Salvation's Grip | Skyburner’s Oath | Sleeper Simulant | Sturm | Sunshot | SUROS Regime | Sweet Business | Symmetry | Tarrabah | Telesto | Thorn | Thunderlord | Ticuu's Divination | Tommy's Matchbook | Tractor Cannon | Traveler's Chosen | Trinity Ghoul | Truth | Two-Tailed Fox | Vex Mythoclast | Vigilance Wing | The Wardcliff Coil | Wavesplitter | Whisper of the Worm | Wish-Ender | Witherhoard | Worldline Zero | Xenophage ]
* I’ve elided the trait if it’s a standard one that also appears on legendary weapons, like Outlaw or Dragonfly.
** Names in parentheses are exotics previewed but not yet released in-game.

Fortitude is THE discipline to have in your skillset. it shows up more common then any other an has an easy enough learning curve that any ghoul has the option to pick it up. the beauty of fortitude is far from how its used cause thats a given. but its the question of why?? why did this discipline form in this clan?? like all disciplines the bloodlines develop tools of survival an fortitude is the multi tool of the kindred world.
Gangrel come with fortitude an not potence as one might expect. mechanically they be one step from the nos so that might be why. however.. we gotta think less about the place we normally see those city campaigns cause Gangrels?? Gangrels can be found more frequently out in the wilds. out in oh?? werewolf territory. cause they a thing -.-. Gangrels the clan to survive through it all but they are not one with nature. thats a common misconception. no they have a distinct relationship with their beast that almost parodies the Garou way of living. enough so that Garou actually see them. out of all kindred. as the worst threat. a pretty darn good reason to have that fortitude ready in case some aggravating claws be coming at you <.<
Hecata is.. an interesting development cause they largely made up of Giovanni. a clan without touch to fortitude. the other misc bloodlines within also dont have access so wheres it coming from?? the pact possibly. fortitude is generalized an with the newly made pact between all these bloodlines it could be the fill in or the result from all this unique vitae changing an adjusting to that spirit effect the Giovanni enacted. OR maybe that large array of ghouls could also have something to do with it. seeing as revenants an ghouls litter the family an their more likely to find use with fortitude. upon embrace their body might remember the discipline. newer Giovanni an Hecata having access to their old ghoul habits.
Ravnos much like Gangrel have that fight or flight reaction when it comes to fortitude. but outside of the actual trepidation an dangers that come with unexplored territory they may have a more emotional regard for it. fortitude isnt just the physical no. its also big on resolve. something that is an absolute must when constantly riding into the unknown.
Salubri just.. their deigned as healers yes but what use is the path of prospering kindred if you cannot defend it. the most celerical of the vampires they also have a history of hunting their determined evils from the world. that history largly involving taking demons head on an having the guard to take those far from natural effects an attacks from the damned.
Ventrue!! the clan that is known for fortitude. that is also known for needing it just to catch up with the less than political clans. which is to say far from a good reason. Ventrue are often seated at the top of kinde affairs. able to navigate the current realm of modernity. but they have always been known as being right alongside humankinds first steps. an if you ever made a templar Venture then you know war was one of those innovations. when words fell through it was Venture who made armies. who organized the strength behind the kinde. they took to the battlefield long before the office.

Since the Fossil Ghouls got a lengthy post with this information, I feel its only fair for the heroes to get the same.
In the closing days of the Cretacious, the Dinosovian civilization was at its height. Their world came to a screaming end with the arrival of the Monster Meteor Apothis. In an effort to save their people, Professor Rachus of Science Tower One attempted to shift the Dinosovian people into the future to escape the impact.
Something went wrong.
65 million years later, Science Tower One and a handful of Dinosovian survivors appear on the outskirts of Granite Mountain, Colorado, while far above, the injured core of Apothis materializes in orbit. When Apothis’ Fossil Ghouls descend on Earth, the only hope for mankind is the reductant heroes of the DynoGuard.
Roar into the Future! (bios and lore below the fold)
Dracora “Cora” Rex Species: Pachyon (Dracorex) Armor: Trailrazor  DynoPower: Flame Breath Ranger Cora Rex of the DynoGuard Parks and Wildlife division wasn’t ready for any of this. She was just dropping off her daughter at a summer internship when the world ended, leaving her the highest ranking (and only) government official of her people. Practical, longsuffering and tough, Cora is the common sense glue that holds the new DynoGuard together. Hopeless with technology and baffled by science, but has a natural affinity for animals and, against her better judgement, a knack for heroism.
Brach Longstride Species: Podite (Brachiosaurus) Armor: Slammerhead  DynoPower: Size Increase  Easygoing and literally tons of fun, Brach (Brachiosaurus) walks a fine line between exuberance and self-control. He’s a big, lovable mechanic and handyman who keeps everything from food dispensers to DynoGuard vehicles humming. If there’s a fight to break up or tensions to ease, Brach’s your dino. He loves hamburgers (his favorite human invention), fixing things, and explosions.
Zara Hurlant Species: Pachyon (Parasaurolophus) Armor: Echo Chamber  DynoPower: Hypersonic Scream The protégé of Science Tower One’s head researcher Professor Rachus, Zara  is an expert in theoretical physics and the Time Slip device. Zara blames herself for the botched time jump and for bringing Apothis with them. Her guilt manifests as a short temper and sarcastic attitude. She’s capable of amazing acts of kindness and heroism, but she holds herself at arms length from others. She resents humans for inheriting the world. She tolerates Jason, but holds Gloria in suspicion and contempt.
Kyle Stowne Species: Thyrene (Ankylosaurus) Armor: Hazmaxx  DynoPower: Metal Form  Kyle Stowne rolls with life’s punches as best he can, typically by focusing on some problem to solve. A brilliant young engineer and chemist, Kyle was at the edge of the Time Slip and lost his left arm and several horns to the void. He wears (and endlessly tinkers with) a prosthetic arm of his own design. He has a sharp analytical mind with a “light the fuse and run” approach to science. He is obsessed with finding the science behind the Fossil Ghouls’ “so-called magic.” He focuses on his work to the point of ignoring food, sleep and hygiene.
Linhera “Linn” Rex Species: Dromeon (velociraptor) Armor: Fighterflight  DynoPower: Cloaking Camoflage Curious, excitable and impulsive, Linn finds adapting to modern life easier than the others. She becomes fast friends with Jason James and loves human culture despite not quite “getting” it. She unabashedly adores action movies, pop music, young adult novels, hyperactive video games, and cute animals both real and animated. Her exuberance helps her cope with the loss of her father and friends, whom she misses greatly.
Jason James Species: Human Equipment: DynoSphere vehicle/battle armor, Podite Multi-Tool Jason met the DynoGuard when his father, Sagan James, moved to Granite Mountain to work for Gloria Anning. He is Linn’s best friend and the first human to become a DynoGuard cadet. Like most boys his age, Jason loves gadgets, video games and goofing off. But his burning passion is cryptozoology, the unsolved, and the unexplained. Now that monsters are real and talking dinosaurs walk the Earth, this minor rebellion against his scientist parents is a useful skill set. Kentra Thagomizer and Tyrannocopter Species: Kentra is a Thyrene (stegosaurus), Tyranncopter is a Tyrannocopter.  Armor: Motosaurus  DynoPower: Energy Spikes/Plates  Kentra and Tyrannocpter did not return with Science Tower One. The only thing certain about their background is none of what they’ve provided is true. Kentra has a smarmy, roguish demeanor and a love of profit and schemes. Tyrannocopter’s artificial intellignece isn’t any better, but at leas the’s more charming.  Dr. Cerebrotops Species: Cerosoid (diabloceratops) Armor: Peer Review  DynoPower: Telepathy, Telekinesis Mutated by genetic experiments he performed on himself, Dr. Cerebrotops (Diabloceratops) is a telepathic mad scientist and the first Dinosovian Cora’s team encounters after arriving on modern Earth.
Dr. Cerebrotops values intelligence beyond all else, specifically his own. He’s an arrogant egomaniac who defends his positions by invoking the size of his brains, and considers himself shackled by the ignorance of other creatures. His Aegis Armor is a custom suit called Peer Review, which summons Meddy and Cort, a pair of additional cloned brians he uses as assistants. Meddy is optimistic and scatterbrained while Cort is pessimistic and anxious.
Gloria Anning Species: Human Billionaire Tech Mogul  Owner of Anningtech and the Observatory where Science Tower One rematerialized (as well as most of the surrounding town of Granite Mountain, Colorado), Gloria Anning stands at the center of everything. The DynoGuard’s patron and most powerful human ally, Gloria funds and defends her time-lost charges from the threats that armor, claws and fangs cannot match: fighting for them in court and in the media.
Gloria’s driven, quirky personality and generosity hide a larger agenda. On the surface she works to forge peace between the Dinosovians and humanity as her chance at a place in history. In secret, she seeks to unlock the secrets of the DynoGuard’s technology, particularly that of the DynoBond, to ensure that place. She claims her plans and schemes are in the best interests of her new friends, but can the DynoGuard trust her… and if not, is there anything they can do about it?
---
Allegiences & Relationships
As heroes, the DynoGuard get a long better than the Fossil Ghouls, however, they each have their own unique relationships to one another.
Cora sees herself as the ‘mother’ of the team, and as the lone member with sense. She’s probably not wrong in either case. She sees Brach as a fellow adult, if just barely, and frequently clashes with Zara over everything from trusting the humans, to battle strategy, to chore rotation. Her strongest loyalty is to her daughter, Linn.
Brach is the ‘fun uncle’ of the team. He has a troubled past and sees a lot of himself in Zara, but his attempts to reach out usually anony her. Brach neither trusts nor likes Dr. Cerebrotops.
Zara clashes with Cora over leadership decisions. She is fond of Linn because they were both hand-picked by Professor Rachus, and she’s fond of Kyle even if they fight like siblings. She does not trust Gloria, or most humans, a prejudice that leaves her open to Dr. Cerebrotops’ influrence.
Kyle wants everyone on the team to get along. He likes his fellow dinosovians, and the humans, even when they’re being baffling. He fills the mentor/big brother role for Linn and a rival sibling role for Zara.
Linn has a strong relationship with her mother, despite rebelling as most dinos of her age do. She and Jason are best freinds, and she quickly adapts to seeing the DynoGuard as a second family.
Kentra is loyal to herself and Tyrannocopter, in that order. While she would gladly steal from or swindle her fellow dinos, her conscience will always drive her to show up when survival is on the line. She avoids Dr. Cerebrotops as telepathy, as a concept, makes her uncomfortable. Tyrannocopter’s loyalties are to Kentra nd to any other fully intelligent Dinosovian AI that he encounters. His distaste for seeing other creatures exploited occasionally is strong enough to override his self-interest.
Dr. Cerebrotops has a misanthrope’s view of most beings. He respects Zara’s skill as a scientist and sees her as a possible ally against humanity, which he sees as a threat that must be removed or defanged before the rest of Dinosovian civilization exists the time slip. He sees Kyle as a promising student hwo isn’t living up to his potential and only really cares about Linn or Brach if he can impress them with his intellect or power.
-
Character Vices
While each Fossil Ghoul had a virtue, each Dino/Ally has a vice.
Cora is stubborn. She adapts poorly to technology, has a difficult time backing down from plans and has a hard time admitting she’s wrong, particularly to Zara.
Brach is afraid of his own power/success. He fears the destructive capability of his own DynoPower and underachieved professionally despite being a mechanical genius.
Zara is filled with anger. She was always short-tempered, but losing her people, her father figure, and her world in one day has exaggerated this. In addition to makin gher a classic ‘hothead’ this also manifests as mistrust of humans, something she struggles with through for some time.
Kyle is obsessive. Kyle has difficulty moderating his interests, in both the day-to-day sense and the big picture sense. Once something grabs him it is difficult if not impossible for him to let go.
Linn is impulsive. Linn isn’t as mature as she believes herself to be and is prone to acting on impulse. She makes poor choices when it comes to proving herself or rebelling against percieved overprotectiveness by her mother other the other Dinos.
Jason is vulnerable to peer pressure. He wants to be popular and well liked, and can be goaded into going against his better judgement if he thinks he can impress others, particularly kids his own age or slightly older.
Kentra and Tyrannocopter are self-serving and dishonest, but they have  their virtues as well, Kentra has a sense of honor and draws the line at hurting the innocent with her scemes (with flexible definitions of ‘hurt’ and ‘innocent’.) Tyrannocopter dislikes seeing other creatures exploited and sometimes cannot be dissauded from “getting political” by Kentra. Dr. Cerebrotops is not a good person, but even he has a soft spot. Dr. Cerebrotops is a momma’s egg and respects mothers. He may not be friendly to them, but he withholds his insults, sarcasm and condescention when dealing with moms and other female caregivers, even human ones.
Gloria is possessed of a certainty bordering on megalomania.  She does what she feels is best for anyone, and does not feel the need to include those people in the discussion. The fact that she is very often right makes
No one, including Gloria, can tell if Gloria is doing the right thing for the wrong reasons, or the wrong thing for the right one.
