This has been a successful experiment. I'm not much of a person who would walk around bare footed but I was willing to try these minimalist shoes out. Minimalist shoes are shoes that give off the appearance and feel of walking barefoot. They usually have wide toe box so one would be able to spread their toes at any moment, thin soles so the ground and anything can be felt beneath the feet, and allow your foot and ankles to work in their natural functionality. I have given myself month before I put on a another shoe to use these as my daily shoe. I've learned that yes shoes do most of the work bc walking in these daily and walking over 100+ miles, running a cpl miles plus biking a few miles over the past month my feet would fatigue and hurt. But I researched beforehand that there would be a painful period and I've surpassed that stage. My heel or slight plantar fasciitis has lessened my feet feel stronger and my posture when standing has improved. Stretching daily also had some help with that. I recommend but to those who are not used to bare footing I would not recommend trying these without the insoles that come with them.
