Columbo and the Knight (1984)

put me in the universe where Columbo ran through the 1980s and had a crossover episode with Knight Rider. I think they deserved it, and I am not just saying that because they're my two favorite Old Shows. @telebeast wrote a little fanfic blurb about it and I HAD to visualize it into a comic (which is also the longest comic I have finished thus far at five pages...), so writing credit goes to them.

NOT generated. edited.#it would be so cool #ive drawn columbo a lot but i haven't drawn a lot of michaels. i was learning things about his outfit AS I WAS DOING THE DAMN #COLORS ON THIS. all the lines done. it was too late to change anything. i did all the lines and colored page by page #i realized my mistakes on like page 3. 1 and 2 were already done. it was Too Late.#imagine it though. them working a case together. switching between the more serious tone of columbo vs the goofier #action antics of michael and kitt. columbo being so impressed by Modern Technology. there's more i could say but phoenix may write #more of this crossover and i don't want to spoil it :'3 #there's opportunity here though i swear. there's gold to be dug.#i like how kitt gets shading but columbo's junker peugeot doesn't. kitt looked wrong without any. columbo's car is matte and dirty #i also applied effects to this to make it look a little film-grainy and VHS like. some CRT TV vibes #the only question left is. did they put knight rider into columbo; or columbo into knight rider 🤔

WITH A GUN. gfrdfvb vfrdedrf #i am a very normal non anxiety having person i swear guys #worst thing i did here was have odys hands very visible for the qinny one. because i didnt realize the way they draw hands is very realisti #BUT THEIR WHOLE STYLE HAS REALLY REALISTIC ANATOMY I SHOULVE KNOWN #irunakis style is SO fun to draw in bc its a lot like some of my older art so its very familiar yk yk i wasnt worrying too much about makin #-things accurate. but i think that accidentally made me too comfortable and so i ended up straying a bit too much #i think a lot of irunaki and qinnys styles specifically is in the lineart. so me using my normal style of lines makes them less recognizabl #anyways. neals odysseus i have shit talked in private (its a good design it just feels uncanny w/ jorges voice to me) but hes really-#-interesting to draw. i wanna do style studies on neal their characters have a very. idk animated feels like the wrong word but like.#something like animated. feeling to them. theyre very distinct in shape i wanna do studies thats it #bigidiotenergy i found this morning while FINALLY looking at cloudysseus art and instantly fell in love w their design #i need to ruffle his hair. hes so silly. absolutely incredible design. but GOD was the style a nightmare #it was too late id already comitted to trying to replicate the styles. but ohhh my god its so far from my own it was so hard #theres so much detail in places i dont normally put any at all #and its like. i know it’s been a year since my last hc post, but here are my Floyd hcs lol.

he was a notorious baby hog; very excited to be an older brother. He also spent hours dressing up and doing his makeup, but he doesn’t care much about that anymore.

I think he made some bad decisions, and had to learn a lot of lessons the hard way. During that time he had many on and off gray episodes, leading to his downturned ears and darker complexion.

A WIP of Manju, the founder of my clan's village!

#flightrising #frfanart #flight rising #fr coatl #fr art #I was having fun using a lot of color with this one which is unusual for me #I want to change this pretty heavily so I thought it would be fun to show what it looks like now #He is a self-exiled coatl that wandered the world looking for a place that felt like home #and found a small pocket of land where dragons avoided due to 'bad vibes'#the spirit of the wellspring of the region was corrupted #The water was poison #no plants would grow well #and thus the animals avoided the area #though he wasn't particularly magic inclined he was persistent #and was able to heal all of the corruption #but the damage was done and the previous spirit was too weak to heal from the wounds the shade caused #so upon the previous guardian's passing Manju absorbed the magic of the spring and became the region's new guardian #and in this newly protected region the Highlands clan set down their roots #This scene depicts him giving up his mortal life to become a guardian spirit #I'm also trying to come up with a new name for him that fits with my lair's naming scheme #but nothing ever feels quite right #I'm very open to suggestions!
