i might be the only one in the fandom who believes dakota lol and that's alright i could be wrong! but i've followed her whole wwe career and everything she's saying sounds totally in character. she hates losing friends more than anything so it makes sense she'd be in denial

exhibit A her rage at tegan getting all buddy buddy with someone who had been bullying her instead of standing up for her

exhibit b her rage at feeling like raquel only wanted her around to use her

exhibit c when dakota returned from her lost feud with raquel she had lost her marbles and went around telling anyone in earshot about the futility friendship

exhibit d she then had her second face run when wendy choo wrangled her into believing that it’s possible for her to hold down a friend after all

friendship is all she’s ever really cared about, and i believe damage control is the longest standing on screen friendship she’s had. i think it makes sense if she’s been in denial about iyo turning on them
