i've mostly played games on my nintendo switch in the past because my old laptop wouldnt run games without seriously overheating so im really excited to be using my gaming laptop! on my laptop i have stardew valley, coral island, the sims 4, and house flipper and i'm hoping to get baldur's gate 3, but it's so expensive LMAO

oh god tgw has so many good lyrics! one of my favorites would have to be the bridge of history of man, but i also really like "baby i am the iliad of course you couldn't read me" (which was actually the lyric on the shirt that i wore when i saw maisie) and "i can write you out the way i wrote you in"! and of course the whole of history of man and body better (but especially "the worst way to love somebody is to watch them love somebody else and it work out" and "did i just not do it for you superficially?")! tgw just showcased how incredible of a songwriter maisie is and i love it

Okay, so this is partially because I just got a bunch of new sets, (the dark green is my fave, so pretty~ 🤤) but what color do you think the boys partner could wear that would make them go feral? 🤔 Like, guaranteed, 100% each time. — for seungmin, i think it depends on the type of set you're wearing. any type of leather or anything with multiple straps has to be black or the deepest shade of red. anything with lace, and it can be dark or light colors, it doesn't matter. i think he really likes lingerie with lots of straps because it speaks to his inner sadist ahah <3

— sweet jeongin doesn't care much for lingerie—so whatever color you want to wear is fine by him, it'll be on the floor anyways. so i don't think there's a specific color that gets him going but as far as the lingerie itself goes? anything that's just extra revealing. it could be a cute sheer robe and he's over the moon bc he can tell you're not wearing anything under it.

this tag is always super hard for me bc a) i don’t usually keep the gimp files and b) i obsess over “cleaning” my folders so i usually delete all “used” screenshots as soon as am done with my edit. i got lucky this time when i realized i had actually kept some of the shots used in these :’D

i tried to pick different colorings i've used but with such few options, these all became kind of similar. also my basic coloring is always kind of the same. but i’ll still blabber about each of these a bit:

the seanwhite one has a lot of red/magenda bc of the color scheme i used in the edit. it’s also a lot darker than the original picture bc i wanted the layers to show up some more. i also tried bringing in more warmth by adding more of yellow to their skin etc. it’s a very basic thing i do for pictures in general. there’s also the added noise i love using for edits to bring that rougher feeling to the images.

for both of the pride month post’s pictures i tried picking one color and switching that into the color i had chosen for each character. for shin i’ve turned green into red and for khai i remember turning some of the background blue towards green. so these two show that process more than just simple coloring.

this edit’s main colors ended up being a soft coral pink and a pastel orange. in this picture i’ve tried taking away some of the green and yellow by adding more magenda, red, and blue. i don’t think i’ve done anything more complicated for this. there’s also the added noise once again to bring in more texture.

reboot is very... green originally. so i struggled a bit when i was trying to take some of that away while still trying to keep the green in the background bc i needed that. zql got more blue tones this way (his hoodie). also this pic obviously has an added texture layer which makes the colors brighter/more muted plus brings in the folded paper effect.

the seasons one is my personal favorite when i think about my patpran edits. it was so much fun to do and i love the final edit to bits. it’s very similar to the pride month edit with how i used black and white pictures plus colored pictures. in this one i just kept pran’s skin color (which i made a lot brighter and added more red and yellow) and then turned everything else towards pink.

this pingxie edit has very muted colors and i also wanted to lean more towards blue bc the second picture is Very Blue originally. so i took away most of the green and yellow, added more blue and magenda, and made the picture a lot darker. i think the color change has happened mostly through the hue and saturation options.

all the pictures in the sun & moon signs edit also follow the same pattern i’ve introduced before: make all the colors turn towards the one desired. on the left image i had to work on the background colors separately to make them red without losing wai’s skin color and on the right i got lucky with his bright blue shirt which i could easily turn red. otherwise it’s mostly just curves for brightness and darker shadows etc.

if you have any questions, feel free to ask ^^ i love sharing my editing process but i rarely feel like it’s something i am good at explaining. mostly i just throw things together and see what works. am getting better at it tho and have learned a lot during all this time i’ve been around :’D

I'll do my favorite Levi cards on a separate post, but here's my favorite outfits (and why) in no particular order

Just really wanna start out with his Demon form outfit. The pants? The horns? The scale motif? I love it (and it was the first one I bought with Raven)

I love the mermaid one, there's a lot of elements I particularly love but the collar, and the way the ruffles and cravat look similar to fins. The golden bone-spikes coming from behind him that mimic coral and bone. The exposed chest because we love a slutty boy.

And the Ice King one, the color palette is lovely with blues and white and gold. The big fluffy collar and ribbons, but overall it gives a sort of regal vibe, which is in the name.

Bunny boy Levi owns my heart and coochie he's just so fuckin' cute. The huge bow, ruffled collar, and the mismatched textures on the suspenders? Not to mention the gloves??? 10/10.

Literally every single time Levi wears a suit (that I could find). He just. He dresses up so fuckin' nicely/??? Even when he's wearing orange or brown. Also catboy butler? fuck!

Halloween fit! Though technically these aren't the same, they're from the same card so I'm counting them. Vampire! Levi? Lich! Levi? My whole heart. Look at those RUFFLES bro. The COLLAR ON THAT CAPE. Bro. And how cool is the skeleton under his demon fit??

C'mon of course I'm putting the Yukata in here. But like, what's he doing in that first one? Stickin' his ass out like that? Like, he's begging to be pegged?? Also gods he really does just put on the loudest, orangest stuff he can find, doesn't he? Ah, well, I like the details on the collar.

Onesies and themed hoodies? C'mon it's so fuckin' cute????? Look at his little face in that last one??

TROPICAL JELLYFISH SHIRT BEACH FUN TIME LEVI??? He's so cute in both sides of this card and like?? Look at his lil belly button. Look at that jellyfish pattern what a fuckin' dweeb. And the cuffed shorts? The undone buttons? Casual and fun and just a lil sexy to drive me insane.

Okay I saved my favorites for last.

His birthday card from this year, in the checkered suit, with the big stupid bow? And suspenders? The sweet lil blush? His hand? The brooch? It's my favorite Levi card.

And the TSL costume oml they all have such great designs and I love his too. For a LOT of reasons. The diamond/scale pattern in the texture and striping, from a design point too that same diamond shape is repeated in many places. It's so good. The fantasy elements, the collar, the sash, the coat. It's the best one !!!

Random fact: I’m secretly a bit of an adrenaline junkie and I love challenging myself physically...one of my proudest memories of training in Kyukshin karate was when I tested for my purple belt and had to spar numerous opponents one on one for 20 minutes straight and even though I was exhausted and had the breath knocked out of me completely at one point I persevered and earned my belt and I had a MASSIVE dark purple bruise on my left shoulder for ages but it was nothing compared to my general euphoria GOSH I miss it so much I hope I can afford to take classes again some day soon!

These will mainly discuss individual pieces that I’ve bought and am wearing, shops I’ve discovered that month or that I’m particularly interested in at the time, my favorite silhouettes and colors/patterns that are currently trending, and any skincare or makeup that I’m particularly into that month as well! CURRENT FAVE PERSONAL PIECES

Tomboyx Essentials Soft Bra, in Next Gen Heather Grey with Rainbow Trim, $32

I’m almost always wearing my Tomboyx soft bra with the rainbow trim. It’s comfortable as hell which has been getting me through some pretty rough chronic pain lately, and it’s also cute with the rainbow trim which is a big bonus. I’m a 22/24 and I wear a size 2XL in their soft bras and it’s absolutely my favorite bralette for comfort that I’ve tried.

Fun with Fab on Top Easy Fit Dress in Doodle, now on sale for $49.99

My fave dress that I have right now is this piece from Modcloth, it has a really nice loose fit, pockets, and the little tie neck detail is really sweet but still cut high enough to be appropriate for work. It also is just such a fun print that it quickly surged to favorite status with me. However...Modcloth’s quality has dramatically decreased lately, and I definitely do regret buying this piece full price. It’s already fraying at the hem and isn’t from me not treating it delicately, it had started fraying when I first took it out of the bag, which is just unfortunate. Definitely make sure if you’re picking something up from there lately you’re getting it on sale! I expected much higher quality for a dress that was over $60.

I also recently discovered a new Etsy shop through instagram that I would love to order from, called Swinging Chicks! Swinging Chicks specializes in retro and 60s mod inspired clothing and offers custom sizing to include all sorts of bodies, for no extra charge. I would love to save up and eventually get one of their pinafore dresses, like the one pictured above or this tartan pinafore, or one of their adorable blouses.

In terms of general colors, I’m really into these slightly dusty feeling reddish corals that I’ve been seeing a lot of lately, I think they pair really well with all skin tones and look so good with denim and light neutrals.

MAKEUP/SKINCARE

Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1%, $5.90

This little magic in a bottle has pretty much entirely eliminated breakouts for me, even with the sweatiness of summer. I use a few drops in the morning and evening whenever I can remember, and put it on my T-zone and on the parts of my face where my glasses hit or that I have a tendency to touch the most often. to keep things under control and it does a wonderful job.

Iceland Hydrating Eye Stick, $8.99 (at CVS)

My hours at work have gotten longer and I’m pretty routinely bad at going to bed on time, so this has become one of my secret weapons for morning puffiness, dark under eye circles, and also, surprisingly, migraines and headaches! It’s naturally cooling after having been in my purse in my hot car and the melon smell is great and feels fresh. It’s hydrating while still being light, and just kind of gives a nice all over cooling effect, plus the packaging is adorable which helps me remember to actually use it.

Mango Hand Butter, $7.33 (at Walmart)

Another big winner just for how cute the packaging is, but this little bottle of hand lotion is also powerful! I have to deal with extremely dry patches of skin from PCOS, but it’s helped clear that up massively just with a few days of repeated use, which is rare for something like this. It’s really strong without having a medical smell or the really heavy moisturizer feel, which can be distracting.

Maybelline’s Brow Precise Fiber Volumizer, $4.29 (at Ulta)

While I’m routinely lusting after Glossier’s Boy Brow and now Milk Makeup’s new Kush Brow Gel, sometimes you just gotta pick up a drugstore version to just get the job done and this cheap option has always done the trick for me. I have dark brown, almost black hair, and use it in the color “Deep Brown” and it’s become one of the few things I put on even if I don’t have time to put any other makeup on, because if my skin and brows are on point I’m typically feeling good about myself.

For Thanksgiving we have Thanksgiving dinner and for Christmas we decorate the tree together and put up decorations, have Christmas Eve dinner and then watch A Christmas Story (TBS plays it for 24 hours straight and I like to keep my TV on the channel all night so I fall asleep and wake up to it), and opening presents Christmas morning with A Christmas Story on in the background. When I was a kid we used to drive around town looking at all the lights and decorations. If you’re in a relationship, are you happy with it? I’m single. How long have you been with your significant other? Do you like psychology? (It’s my college major). I do. I majored in it as well. What is something your state is popularly known for? I feel like people associate California with Hollywood and celebrities, and beaches.  Do you like to do craft projects? If so, what’s the coolest thing you made? I like the idea of doing them haha. I wish I was crafty and creative and had the inspiration and motivation to do them. Do you watch sports or do you think they’re overrated? I’m not into sports. What’s one occupation you think gets paid too much and doesn’t deserve to? Hmm. Do you straighten your hair? I haven’t in years. Ever dyed your hair a color that isn’t natural? (blue, pink, etc) I dye it red. How’s your relationship with your parents? Great. I’m really close to my mom, she’s the best mom and also my best friend. Do you still live with them or do you have your own house? I live with them. What’s something you are currently saving money for to buy? I’m broke now after Christmas shopping, but I don’t care. I love buying gifts for my family. Next month I have to start saving up for my vacation.  Do you smoke/vape? If so, what brand do you smoke/what device do you use? No. Ever done drugs? Just weed. Tell me one of your worst habits. Biting/picking at my lips and picking at acne and scabs. What’s a weird quirk you have that no one else you know does? I cook my Ramen for 6 minutes, alternating between stirring and not stirring. Like one minute I stir, the next minute I don’t, etc.  If you game, what type of headset do you use? I just play with my Nintendo Switch. I don’t use a headset. I’ve never used a headset while playing any game console. What type of computer do you own, and do you like it? I have a MacBook Air. I love it. What’s the thing that annoys you the most? I’m such an irritable person. Sometimes it can be any little thing. What brand of TV do you have? Phillips Roku TV. Are you excited for Christmas? (It’s December 1st today when I made this) I love Christmastime. Tell me about your favorite vacation you’ve taken. Disneyland trips, beach trips, mountain area trips, and the trip my family and I took to visit my grandpa in Idaho one summer. My aunts, one of my uncles, a lot of my cousins, my mom, brother, and I all took the long road trip to go visit my grandpa for a week and we had the best time. It meant even more because he suddenly passed away just a few months later. :( We had no idea it would be our last time.

Tell me something cool about yourself. Lol there’s nothing cool about me. Did/do you get good grades in school/college? I got A’s and B’s.  What’s your ringtone on your phone? Just one that came with the phone. I didn’t choose it. What’s your favorite store to shop in? Target, Hot Topic, Boxlunch, and Kohl’s.  If you won the lottery, what is the first thing you would buy and why? I’d have to pay off my debt first and foremost. I’d pay off my parents and brothers’ as well. How long have you had a Bzoink account? I don’t have a Bzoink account.

Ever been to Field of Screams? If so, what’s your favorite attraction? Never heard of that one specifically, but I’m guessing it’s one of those things with like haunted hay rides, haunted houses, and people in scary costumes that jump out at you and whatnot. Those kinds of things are not my thing. I love horror movies, but I’m not about people jumping out at me and giving me literal jump scares. Nooo thank you.  Do you own a Polaroid camera? No. Do you have hardwood floor in your room or carpet? Carpet. It’s a Saturday night, what are you typically doing? Same stuff I do everyday. Do you have a lot of friends or do you not have any at all? I don’t have any. That’s completely my own doing. :/ What’s your all time favorite movie and why? I have too many. How many blankets do you sleep with at night? Just one.

What’s the last TV show you watched? Did you enjoy it? KUWTK. Do you prefer cable TV or do you use Netflix? I have stuff I like to watch on TV and I like using streaming devices.
