Max Caster Butterflies 🦋

Max Caster never got that butterfly feeling in his stomach before. Not when he was a kid, before his first professional wrestling match, or even before a concert. He was just too confident; it wasn’t like he thought nothing could go wrong. It’s just that if something didn’t go to plan, he had enough skills to handle it. That was until he saw you.

He was going to be home for a couple of days, and Josh a high school friend had invited him to stay with him at his dorm. It sounded perfect to Max a chance to catch up with his boy and to get a taste of college life. Josh had one more class before they could start their weekend. Max was just killing time walking around campus when he saw you. You were sitting outside at a table in front of a coffee shop. Notebooks, books, pens, highlighters, and your laptop scattered in front of you.

Max had never seen someone be so still and be able to concentrate with all these other things going on around them. Plus he never seen someone so pretty, Max was used to seeing girls with faces caked with make up on and their hair perfectly styled. You were in leggings an over sized hoodie, your hair was a mess tossed on top of your head, and you didn’t even have lipgloss on. Max had never wanted to get to know someone so badly.

It was just his stomach felt off, like how it felt right before he got a stomach bug. But Max knew he wasn’t sick, he was finally feeling the butterflies. He wanted to go up to, but he felt awkward, it was like he never had talked to a girl before. What was he supposed to with his hands? Max headed into the coffee shop and ordered two hot cocoas.

Thank god you were still out there, he was worried you would be packed up and gone by the time he got his drinks. Max walked up to your table and cleared his throat.

“Hey. I’m Max.” Was it weird to buy a girl a hot chocolate, he was used to buying shots at a bar. “Uhhh it looked like you needed a pick me up.” This was definitely weird he decided.

But than you looked up at him and smiled. The butterflies were really flying in his stomach now. “I’m y/n and I actually really could use a pick me up.” Max watched as you nodded to the chair next to her and he sat down…
