An experiment with painting on paper instead of fabric!
Idk why I keep painting sunset-ish scenes, but I’m having fun lol
#painting#I might’ve added too more than the optimal number of clouds#but considering I did not paint from a reference picture and also don’t know what I’m doing#I think I’m doing pretty well! next time I think I might try to paint a quilt?#idk if I’ll enjoy that though I think my favorite part of painting might be the colors#not so much the precision work#side note if anyone is reading this tags who can paint and/or draw a stack of quilts in color#and is taking commissions please let me know#I’d love to have art of a stack of my quilts

🧡Caleb - Five Years Later
The third in a series of stories exploring MC’s return after five years of silence. Others are coming soon — links will be added as they’re published.
Original ask that sparked this continuation.
Sylus | Rafayel | Zayne | Xavier (coming soon)
CW/TW: Grief / Loss of a loved one, Terminal illness, PTSD themes, Emotional trauma, Mentions of death / implied past death, Medical procedures / hospitals, Restraints (medical context), Panic attacks / nightmares, confinement / loss of agency, Non-consensual medical intervention, Self-worth / guilt issues, Power imbalance (emotional), Non-graphic violence, Brief medical body horror, Touch-starvation / intimacy after trauma, Bittersweet tone, heavy emotional intensity, Hope & love, but not always soft
Pairing: Caleb x former partner!you Genre: Sci-fi drama, heartbreak and healing, soul-deep devotion. Heavy on angst, soft on reunion. Enemies to… something more broken and beautiful. MC Context: You disappeared five years ago. He never forgave you. Now you’re back — with a secret that’s killing you slowly. Summary: Admiral Caleb was forged in war and tempered by loss — and you were the one wound that never healed. When fate throws you back into his orbit, neither of you are ready for what resurfaces. Letters, graves, rain-soaked rooftops, and the love that refuses to die quietly. Word Count: 8.4K — stand-alone… for now. 🥀 This story was loosely inspired by Caleb’s latest Myth. Just a touch of that vibe, y’know?
Author’s Note: Okay, full confession — I cried from the first word to the very last. Maybe it’s just me (I’ll admit, Caleb is my soft spot). Or maybe… it just hit something. Either way, I’d love to hear what you think.
The anniversary of Josephine’s death — and Caleb’s own — landed squarely on an unscheduled visit to Lincon City.
The admiral rarely returned. Not unless duty bared its teeth and dragged him back. Too painful. Too empty. The wounds too fresh, even now.
He had once been Colonel Caleb of the Farspace Fleet. Now, promoted to the soulless rank of Admiral, he moved like a ghost through corridors lined with medals and silence. But today… something clawed at him. A compulsion. A tremor from a buried place.
He bought lupines. Tall, excessive, dignified in a way grief never is. The kind you buy for someone who will never see them. And then he walked — alone — to the cemetery.
He had only been here once before. With you.
Josephine’s grave was strangely well-tended. No weeds. Edged clean. A vase of pink lilies — fresh, impossibly so — sat nestled against the stone like someone had just set them down and whispered something soft and final. Her favorite flowers. He remembered.
His first thought: the groundskeepers. Maybe the city did something for the dead on anniversaries. Some quiet bureaucratic kindness. But that didn’t explain the lilies. How would they know?
His eyes scanned the black headstone. “Josephine,” carved in solemn, obedient serif. A name, a dash, two dates, and silence. His grandmother. Gone six years.
She hadn’t died of age. The blast had taken her.
But you — you were different.
Five years. Five years since you vanished. Gone not like a candle snuffed, but like smoke ripped from the air.
He had never accepted it. Not really. Some part of him believed you were taken. That you had been forced to go.
Because the truth — the one that stared back at him in sleepless nights and shattered mirrors — was that you did leave. You walked away. No message. No farewell. Just absence.
The storm was building in the clouds above, heavy and low like judgment. Thunder sat unspoken just beyond the hills, crouching. Caleb stood still, arms at his sides, as the sky thickened.
Why?
It was a question that never left. A question with a thousand answers. Each one sharper than the last.
The scent of wet earth rose in the air. Ozone, crackling like something electric and cruel. His hand twitched toward his wristwatch. He was due back. His itinerary was brutal. The war waited for no one — not even the grieving.
He knelt, placed the bouquet down with the softness of ritual. A last gesture. A futile offering.
Then his eyes drifted. To his own gravestone.
There it was. Cold. Familiar. His name, etched beneath hers, waiting for its second date.
And something else. A white envelope.
Untouched by time. Unsullied by rain or rot. Resting gently, like it had grown there.
His breath caught.
The lilies. The letter. The impossible coincidence.
Then the first drop hit — heavy, warm — against his cheek. A second, on the envelope. Then more.
Drip. Drip-drip. Drip— Draaip.
The kind of rain that doesn’t fall, but descends. Like judgment. Like memory.
Caleb stepped forward. One foot. Then another. His boots sank slightly into the earth, as if the ground resisted.
He reached out — hands trembling, trembling — like the time he pulled an FS-90 out of a death spiral back at the Academy, nose brushing the snow-capped ridges of the mountains peaks.
He lifted the envelope. It was light. Too light. But on it — one word, scrawled in handwriting he knew too well.
Caleb.
Nothing more.
He shoved it into the inner pocket of his uniform, as though it were explosive. As though it might burn through the fabric and into his chest.
And just like that — as if spurred by some instinct he couldn't name — he turned on his heel and walked fast, too fast, back toward the car.
His heart didn’t race. It pounded.
Like thunder.
The drive to the airfield felt like a lifetime, though the roads were mercifully clear. No evening traffic, no pointless delays. The driver, attuned to the admiral’s mood, pressed hard on the accelerator, but still — Caleb tapped his fingers against the armrest with restless urgency, the motion sharp and impatient.
The envelope continued to burn in his chest.
Rain traced thick, winding rivers down the window, a slow, rhythmic descent like tears he never shed for you. When you left, it wasn’t just his heart that broke. It was his soul, his body, his being. Everything cracked and caved inward — except his eyes. Those remained stubbornly dry.
Now, though… he was close. And that made him angry.
Furious, even.
It infuriated him that just as he had begun to stitch some version of his life back together — a life without you, without your voice, your touch, your name — you reappeared. Like a ghost. Too close to ignore, too far to hold.
If you had wanted to return, you would have come back. Not like this. Not through riddles and shadows and silence. You would’ve stood at his door, or on a tarmac, or behind him in some briefing room like the world hadn’t ended. And he — damn him — he would have forgiven you. Instantly. Because that’s who he was. That’s what you had always counted on.
And that was what made him want to scream.
He didn’t want to forgive. He didn’t want to read your damned letter, to parse your reasons, your pleas, your desperate little words asking to be understood.
He didn’t want to analyze your cruelty. He didn’t want to empathize with it.
For the first time in five years, Caleb felt like he could finally, truly erase you. Not forget — never forget — but cut you out like rot. And live with the absence.
The letter pressed against his chest like a bullet. He placed his palm over it, broad and unsteady, as though trying to keep it from puncturing skin. As if it hadn’t already pierced him, deep and final.
The only sane choice would be to throw it out the window. Let the wind take it, let the rain dissolve it, let the world carry it into the dark.
Maybe you hadn’t even meant for him to find it. Maybe this was a confession to no one. A whisper into the void. Maybe it wasn’t meant for him at all — just for yourself.
To ease the weight.
To breathe again.
Selfish.
Selfish to write it. Selfish to hope for release, when he was still walking in agony, flesh and blood wrapped around something broken.
He didn’t want you to breathe.
He didn’t want you to be free of the pain, not when he was still wearing it — every day, every night, every silence between heartbeats.
How dare you write to him?
It was beneath an admiral to take the controls.
But today, Caleb didn’t care.
Protocol could burn. Chain of command, procedure, rank — all of it. He needed to feel the illusion of control again, even if it came in the form of a military jet barely older than some of the crew still stationed on the tarmac.
He didn’t ask the pilots to stand down. He ordered them. One glance at his face, and none of them argued.
The rain was steady now, carving grooves into the tarmac like old scars. The cockpit smelled of steel, vinyl, and cold systems spinning up to life.
Caleb slid into the pilot’s seat. No ceremony. No reverence. Just quiet, deliberate motion. The envelope — that stupid, unbearable envelope — landed in the co-pilot’s seat like a stone slab. Heavy enough, he thought, to drag the aircraft down with him.
And maybe that would’ve been for the best.
He ran the preflight checks by muscle memory.
Fuel quantity. Sufficient. Confirmed crossfeed valve closed.
Hydraulic pressure. Green. Full.
Flight controls. Surfaces free and correct — elevator, rudder, ailerons.
Navigation systems. Online. INS aligned. No drift.
Avionics. Check.
Oxygen. Flow normal, regulators armed.
Engine start. Ignition armed. Starter sequence began. One engine, then the second — turbines spun up with that low whine that sounded too much like a scream if you listened the wrong way.
He couldn’t breathe. But he was going through the motions.
Flight clearance received. Tower approved for immediate departure.
The jet eased down the taxiway, engines rumbling like restrained violence beneath him. His hands on the throttle were steady. Too steady.
Takeoff checklist. Flaps set. Trim neutral. Brakes released.
He pushed the throttles forward.
The aircraft responded like it wanted to run. Acceleration pressed him back into the seat. Rain lashed the windscreen. The moment the wheels left the tarmac, the ache in his chest twisted tighter.
There. He was airborne.
And it didn’t help. Not like it used to.
Altitude climbed. Ten thousand. Twenty. Forty. Cruising.
He stabilized at 37,000 feet and did something he almost never allowed himself: he engaged the autopilot.
The moment the system took over, he tore off the harness with a sharp, frustrated motion. The metal buckle clattered against the seat.
His hand reached for the envelope.
It was still warm from being pressed to his chest. He turned it over in his fingers, letting the edge bite into his skin. He very nearly tore it in half.
But he didn’t.
Instead, he broke the seal, carefully, precisely — like disarming a mine.
And there it was. That handwriting. Your handwriting.
Messy. Crooked. Rushed. Impatient. Every letter a little too hard, as though you’d nearly punctured the page. You had always gripped your pen like it was the only thing anchoring you to the world. You hadn’t changed.
For a long moment, Caleb didn’t read. He just stared at the shapes of the words. The loops and slants. Like he was watching you from the other side of interrogation glass — close enough to touch, unreachable all the same.
And then he started.
Once. Again. A third time.
Each pass scraped deeper, like reading the report of his own autopsy.
His hand trembled. He didn’t even realize he was breathing too fast until the cockpit hissed a low-pressure warning. He ignored it.
He slammed the harness back across his chest and keyed the comms.
“Control, this is Delta-Two-Alpha requesting vector for immediate return.”
There was a pause.
“…Confirm that, Delta-Two-Alpha. Reason for return?”
He took the yoke again, flicked autopilot disengage with a sharp tap. The jet jerked slightly, now fully under his hand.
“Command directive,” he said flatly.
Another pause.
“Understood. Return approved. You’re clear for turn on heading zero-one-five.”
Caleb didn’t wait. He threw the aircraft into a steep bank, cutting through the clouds like a blade.
He knew where to find you. He had known before he stepped into the cockpit. He had known standing at the grave, the envelope still untouched.
But he hadn’t wanted to find you then.
Now?
Now he didn’t have a choice.
The viewing deck of the Linkon TV Tower was nearly empty.
Closing time was drawing near, but the rain had chased away what few tourists and visitors remained. You stood at the railing in a long lavender raincoat, hood pulled deep over your head. The fabric clung to your arms and back, soaked through. Your sneakers were long past wet, the chill of the concrete seeping into your bones. But you didn’t move. Didn’t shift. As if the weather had pinned you here in time, or maybe memory had.
The city below had disappeared — swallowed by fog, by stormclouds, by everything that refused to be seen. No headlights, no stars. Just the endless roar of rain and the cold sting of being the last one left.
Your fingers rested lightly on the metal bar. Your eyes were turned upward, into the vast nothing. Watching clouds drift across an invisible sky. You might have stood there till morning, if not for the footsteps behind you.
Slow. Measured. Not security. Too quiet.
“I would give a lot to know what you’re thinking right now,” said a voice too worn to belong to the man you once loved.
You turned slowly.
Caleb stood a few paces away, still in uniform. The rain hadn’t spared him. His hair was damp, the shoulders of his coat dark with water. But he stood like the storm couldn’t touch him. Like it wouldn’t dare.
“I didn’t think you’d come,” you said.
“I almost didn’t.”
You smiled — not from joy, but from pain that needed a face.
“I thought maybe you’d moved on by now,” you said. “Married. Found peace.”
“I’m not built for peace,” he said flatly.
“No,” you murmured, “you weren’t. But I hoped... maybe you’d become someone who was.”
He took a step forward, his boots clicking against the wet metal. “You hoped I’d forget you.”
“I hoped you’d survive me.”
The words hit. You saw it — the smallest shift in his jaw, the flicker in his eyes. But his voice stayed calm.
“You knew I wouldn’t.”
You didn’t deny it.
“I wrote the letter because I needed to say it. Not because I thought you'd ever read it.”
“You didn’t want me to.”
You hesitated. “No.”
“Then why leave it where I’d find it?”
Another silence. Then: “Because I wanted to believe you wouldn’t come.”
Caleb’s expression didn’t change, but his gaze sharpened. The air between you grew tighter, like a pressure drop before impact.
“I read it,” he said.
Your breath caught. “I know.”
“I know everything now.”
You nodded.
He didn’t shout. He didn’t accuse. But his voice was a blade dragged slowly across flesh.
“You could’ve told me. You could’ve stayed.”
“I couldn’t breathe, Caleb.” You didn’t mean to say it out loud — but the truth had a weight of its own. “You loved me like I was something to guard. Not someone to hold.”
“I was trying to keep you safe.”
“And I was trying to live.”
His lips parted, as if to argue — but nothing came. Because you both knew: you were right. And so was he.
You took a step closer, rain dripping from your sleeves.
“I didn’t want you to be there when it started. I didn’t want you to watch me fade.”
“And now?”
“Now it’s too late.”
Caleb looked at you like you were a puzzle he used to know how to solve. Like something once sacred that had rewritten itself in a language he couldn’t read.
“I’m not asking you to forgive me,” you said.
“Good.”
Your breath hitched — not from the cruelty of it, but from the honesty.
“I just wanted to see you again,” you whispered. “Once. Before...”
You didn’t finish. You didn’t need to.
He stepped closer. This time, the space between you nearly vanished. But he didn’t reach out.
“You always ran when it got quiet,” he said.
“And you never let anything rest.”
He didn’t deny it.
“I hated you,” he said, voice rough. “For five years, I hated you for leaving. For taking my soul with you and vanishing into nothing.”
You closed your eyes.
“And now?”
He hesitated.
Then: “Now I just hate that there’s nothing left to save.”
The rain didn’t stop. Neither of you moved.
But something broke, quietly — not between you, but inside you both.
And maybe that was the beginning.
Or the end.
He stepped closer. Not to you — no. To the railing.
Leaning casually, almost carelessly, over the edge, he stared down into the city’s abyss. The lights below were blurred by fog, rain, and altitude — a slow-motion fall into nothingness. Even resting like that, shoulders relaxed, head tilted slightly as he looked down, Caleb seemed impossibly distant. Removed.
Admiral.
Not just a rank anymore. Not a role. It had consumed him — the strictness, the cold efficiency, the discipline etched into every movement. He was the title now. All calculation, no softness. All control, no warmth. A man weaponized by grief, then sanctified by command.
“Do you remember the last time we were here?” you asked quietly, your voice fragile, almost drowned out by the rain.
He didn’t answer at first.
You studied his face — the years had been merciful to him in the way they only are to men shaped by war. Just over thirty. A trace of silver at the temples. Skin clean-shaven, jaw locked, cheekbones sharp enough to cut glass.
He looked like marble come alive. Cold, perfect, untouchable.
You wanted to reach out. Just to touch his face. To feel warmth. To remind yourself he was still made of skin, not armor.
“We saved a lot of people that day,” you added, almost to fill the silence. “From Wanderer.”
“I remember,” he said, his voice low. “On the train ride here, you fell asleep on my shoulder. There was some romantic song playing on loop — too sweet to ever be real.”
You smiled, barely. It hurt. “Caleb… would you still do it now? Jump like that? Into the void. As if death is something you can bargain with. Something you can command to pause.”
He tilted his head, still watching the city below.
“I can stop a fall. I can control flight paths. Bend gravity to my will. But not death. If I could…” He paused. His voice dropped lower, quieter. “I wouldn’t be here.”
When he turned to you, the change was surgical. A full turn of his body, attention locked on yours. His eyes scanned your face with precision, not feeling.
He looked at you like he was trying to remember.
Like five years had burned away not just the love, but the memory of it.
“Tell me,” he said, “do you think I’ll be able to save you this time?”
The question landed like a shard of ice in your spine. You flinched — not visibly, but inside, where it counted.
There was something wrong in his voice. Not anger. Not desperation. Just… wrong. Like he was rehearsing something he didn’t understand.
“I’m not asking you to save me,” you said. “I never wanted that. I never wanted to be your project. Your fragile rose behind glass — something that, if shattered, would take your whole world with it.”
He didn’t reply. But he looked away. Not down. Not up. Just… away.
And then — a sound behind you.
A door creaked. Footsteps, hesitant. The voice of someone too young, too aware.
“I— I’m sorry— sir— admiral— I didn’t— The tower’s closed, I—” The poor security guard stumbled over every word as he recognized the face that had appeared in military reports, field briefings, and news feeds. The ghost in the sky. The man who never fell.
Caleb turned slightly toward him, not quite sighing — more like resetting.
“Where are you staying?”
You blinked. “Caleb—”
He raised a hand, not unkindly, but final.
“Where.”
You swallowed. “The Midland Motel. Down by the shuttle terminal.”
He said nothing, just nodded once and began walking. You followed.
You knew you shouldn’t. But you were too tired to argue. Too wet, too cold, too broken.
He didn’t offer his coat. Didn’t say a word. Just pressed the call button for the lift and waited in silence.
The car ride was quiet. The city blurred past in gray, streaked neon. His vehicle — black, sleek, military grade but dressed as civilian — moved like a shadow through the storm.
He didn’t look at you. Didn’t speak.
You kept your arms wrapped around yourself in the damp raincoat, your soaked sleeves sticking to your skin.
He brought you to a hotel you didn’t recognize. Modern, expensive, silent. The kind of place that smells like clean money and consequence.
At the front desk, he handed over a card — no hesitation — and said, “One bedroom suite. Highest floor. Immediate check-in.”
No questions asked.
The elevator ride was wordless. The carpet muffled your wet shoes.
He opened the door. The lights came on softly. Beige walls, minimalist decor, glass and brushed steel. Tasteful. Lifeless.
He handed you a folded robe from the closet. “Bathroom’s through there,” he said. “Go shower. I’ll order food.”
You took the robe with slow hands, staring at it for a moment too long.
Then, wordlessly, you turned and walked into the bathroom. The door closed with a quiet click behind you.
Warmth. Dry tile. A mirror.
And, for just a moment — silence. The kind that wraps around you like grief you haven’t cried yet.
The robe was too large. Too soft. Too warm.
You could have wrapped it around yourself three times and still gotten lost in it.
On the small round table near the panoramic window, a meal waited. Caleb hadn’t bothered to order anything you used to love. He remembered, of course — that was never the issue. He simply hadn’t tried. The selection was closer to a field ration than a dinner: high protein, complex carbs, dense fats. Efficient. Precise.
You weren’t hungry. You hadn’t been for a long time.
He’d removed the jacket of his uniform, now down to a crisp white shirt with sleeves rolled up to the elbow. And still, something in the room made it feel wrong to sit without permission. He didn’t even look at you — just gave a practiced gesture toward the chair.
You sat on the very edge of it.
Your gaze lingered on the veins in his forearms, raised and defined — marks of control, of command. Of power. Hands that once cradled you through entire nights, hands that had trembled against your skin as if you were the only thing in the world keeping him human.
Now, all of it felt like a dream.
You broke off a piece of warm bread. Turned toward the rain outside. Watched the world bleed behind the glass.
“Did you see a doctor?” he asked.
Not worry. Not fear. Just curiosity. Clinical, detached. A data point to confirm.
You shrugged slowly. “Yeah. Dr. Zane was the first. Then came the rest.”
“And he didn’t tell me anything?”
“Doctor-patient confidentiality,” you said. “I asked him not to.”
“So I wasn’t worthy of the truth?”
You exhaled — sharp and stung, like you’d been slapped. “Caleb… do I really have to explain this? I was trying to spare you the pain.”
He laughed. Cold. Harsh. Suffocating.
The room, already dim, felt darker suddenly. As though the lights had dimmed in reverence to his bitterness.
“Spare me? Oh, brilliant. You really did a hell of a job. I didn’t suffer at all. You disappeared and I just breathed a sigh of relief, right? Out of sight, out of mind — that’s what you think?”
“It’s not the same.”
He slammed a fist down on the table. Plates jumped. Glass cracked under his hand.
“If you had died in my arms, at least I would’ve known. I would’ve known you didn’t leave because I wasn’t enough. Because I loved you too hard, too deep, too much. I would’ve known you had no choice.”
“You wouldn’t have let me die in peace!” you shot back, voice rising. “You would’ve torn the damn planet apart looking for a cure. You would’ve ripped through every system, Farspace tunnel, shouting that it’s almost over, that we’re so close, just hold on—”
He stared at you. Unblinking. Breathing slow.
The storm inside him didn’t explode. It collapsed, inward — contained by the vice grip of discipline. Of rank.
“If loving you with everything I had — completely, recklessly, overwhelmingly — was a crime…” His voice was low now. Not soft. Deadly. “Then yes. I’m guilty. You pronounced the sentence without a trial, Pip-squeak. And I served it. Five years, no parole.”
He stood, pushing away the untouched plate. The chair didn’t scrape. It moved like a blade being sheathed.
“But let me tell you something.” He turned his gaze on you like ice hardening in place. “Love, when betrayed and ground into dust, doesn’t always fade. Sometimes… it turns into contempt.”
The word hit like a slap across the soul.
You couldn’t speak. Your breath stalled in your throat.
“Eat something,” he said. “And get some rest.”
“And you—?”
“I have too much work to babysit you.”
“I don’t want to stay here!”
He paused by the door. Turned half toward you — not enough to be kind.
“Well, that’s a shame,” he said. “Because I do. Sorry, sweetheart, but tonight? You don’t get a choice. I may be, as you so astutely pointed out, a cold-hearted bastard — but even now, I can’t let you wander the streets in wet clothes, racing to meet your own end.”
With that, he slid back into his uniform jacket in one fluid, dismissive motion and stepped out.
The door closed behind him with mechanical precision. The lock flashed red. Like a warning.
Your only way out now was through the window.
You didn’t remember falling asleep.
Most likely, you just shut down — the body giving out where the soul had already emptied. There were no tears. No breakdown. Just the vast, aching silence of being done. As if the last thread tethering you to this world had snapped soundlessly in the night.
Caleb had been the only family you ever had. He didn’t want to be your partner anymore — that, at least, made sense. But now he didn’t even want to be your brother. Not your anchor. Not your history.
He had become a stranger. And you had made him that.
You had no one to blame. No one to curse. The damage had your fingerprints all over it — deliberate, cruel, irreversible.
You regretted it. You knew it was a mistake.
But what could you do now?
Five years ago, you walked away — selfishly, completely — leaving him alone with the bleeding wreckage of his own love. And you hadn't spared yourself either. You’d just taken the pain and buried it, hoping time would do what courage couldn’t.
And now, with the same selfish silence, you had come back. Uninvited. Unexplained. Unhealed. You didn’t know what you’d hoped for — redemption, maybe. A flicker of warmth. Or just… recognition.
But instead, you lit the same fuse all over again.
You knew, even before boarding the train, that he’d find you. Even if he wasn’t looking. Even if he didn’t want to.
And still — you came.
The knock at the door startled you. You shot up, heart hammering in your throat.
Room service? Caleb? No. Caleb wouldn’t knock.
A second later, the door’s lock blinked with coded lights, and a young man in a tailored aide’s uniform stepped in. He was polite enough to knock. But not enough to wait for a response.
Not Liam. Someone much younger.
“Good morning, ma’am,” he said with crisp formality, almost saluting before catching himself.
He tried — really tried — to keep his gaze level, but you could see the questions in his eyes. He didn’t know who you were, why you were important, or why the Admiral had seen fit to personally house you in a suite normally reserved for political dignitaries.
“I was ordered to bring you a change of clothes and arrange breakfast,” he said. “Admiral Caleb instructed me to return in thirty minutes and escort you to the hospital.”
You blinked. “Tell the Admiral that’s unnecessary.”
The aide offered a tight, apologetic smile. It didn’t reach his eyes. “He also told me to inform you that, if you refuse to come voluntarily, I’m authorized to use force.”
The words hit harder than you expected.
You swallowed, fighting the wave of humiliation. Of course he would go this far. You shouldn’t be surprised. And yet, it burned.
“I see,” you said quietly. “Then I’ll just have coffee.”
The aide hesitated. “Ma’am—”
“You’re not going to shove breakfast down my throat, are you?” you snapped, sharper than intended. “Fine. For the sake of compromise — coffee. And a yogurt. That’s it, Lieutenant.”
He nodded with practiced obedience. “Yes, ma’am.”
And then he left, leaving you alone with your rage and your helplessness.
The coffee tasted bitter. The yogurt was sour. Your taste buds had changed — everything had. Food had stopped being pleasure long ago. It was fuel now, nothing more. You absorbed calories. Not flavor.
Another memory — gone. Another joy stripped from a life grown colorless. Another piece of yourself you hadn’t noticed was missing… until Caleb reminded you it was never coming back.
Some part of you expected they'd take you to Akso Hospital.
It would’ve made sense. Zayne knew your case better than anyone — your body, your history, the long and winding ruins of your health. But Caleb didn’t trust him anymore. Not enough to put your life in his hands.
Zayne had already failed him once — by keeping your secret.
Instead, they brought you to an unfamiliar place. Private, sterile, quiet. Too many white walls. Too much controlled light.
Caleb was already there, standing in the center of a vast conference room surrounded by doctors in crisp lab coats.
Even without a word, he commanded the space. In uniform, he looked taller than any of them. Broader. More permanent. Even the chief physician seemed to defer to him instinctively, as though gravity itself bent slightly in his direction.
You paused in the doorway, watching the way their attention latched to him — every word, every breath, every small flick of his hand. He wasn’t just giving orders. He was delivering truth.
And it made your blood boil.
With silent, focused fury, you crossed the room. Stopped too close. Closer than decorum allowed. Closer than memory permitted.
He didn’t move. Didn’t flinch.
“You’re doing exactly what I was afraid of,” you hissed, voice low and sharp, aimed straight at his throat. “I’m not a lab rat. I’m not your property. You don’t get to manage me. I have a right to my own choices.”
He looked you over slowly, without shame or apology — from your scuffed shoes to the oversized hoodie and jeans that hung loose on your frame. He’d remembered your size, but even so, they fit like clothes left behind by a body that used to be stronger.
“Fine,” he said simply. “You can leave.”
You blinked. Taken aback. Then pivoted sharply. “And I will.”
“Just know,” he said, his voice still maddeningly calm, “if you stay — I’ll stay too. If you stop running, you’ll have the chance… to live what time you have left not alone. Not in silence.”
You froze.
One breath. Another.
Your shoulders sagged. The sharpness in your spine dulled. And slowly, you turned back to him.
His face hadn’t changed. That same cold mask. Not unkind — just unreadable.
“You’d stay?” you asked, barely audible.
He exhaled, finally. A quiet thing. His fingers brushed the edge of a metallic button on his uniform — a nervous tic, barely there.
“We were family once,” he said softly. “No one should die alone.”
Your lips parted slightly, as if to answer — but no words came.
There was no sentiment in his voice. No drama. No heartbreak. Just a statement of fact.
Death wasn’t something that scared him. It was a language he knew fluently — one he had spoken too many times, in too many places, across too many battlefields. He’d seen it. Worn it. Come back from it.
Even now, he didn’t flinch from yours.
It was just another ending. Another line of code. A final set of coordinates.
No pleading. No shaking. No denial.
And somehow — that was exactly what you needed. Not mercy. Not hope. Just someone to stay.
For once, it didn’t matter what you deserved. It mattered that you weren’t alone in this room. Not anymore.
The carousel of tests spun you until nightfall.
Scanners, probes, bloodwork, neurological assessments — round after round until your skin felt bruised from inside out. You were growing irritable, frayed at the seams, more from the dread than the procedures themselves.
They weren’t just gathering data. They were preparing to keep you here. Not for a night. Not even for a week. You could feel it — that low hum of administrative inevitability, ready to steal your time in the name of preservation.
You hadn’t even tied the hospital robe back around your chest when the door hissed open again.
“Oh, do come in. Why not take a piece of my liver while you’re at it?” you snapped, not bothering to turn.
“Your liver’s fine,” came the reply.
Of course. Caleb.
You turned too fast — too defensively — forgetting the robe was still gaping open. Not exposing skin, no. That wasn’t the issue.
It was the mark.
A thick, black web, raised and pulsing, spidered across your chest, the origin rooted deep in the center — where the Aethor Core was housed. Where power should have blossomed. Where your strength was supposed to live.
But it didn’t pulse with life. It cracked. You were coming apart, slowly, precisely, down the middle. Left from right. Light from shadow. Every beat of your heart was a fracture.
You covered your chest too late. He had seen.
He approached, unhurried. Unstoppable. The kind of step he used when nothing in the world could change his mind.
He pulled off one glove with a smooth, practiced motion and pressed his palm to the place where the damage burned hottest.
Right over your heart. Where it splintered loudest.
You closed your eyes. Pain hit like a detonator — sharp, white-hot, cellular. Like a memory of impact. A blade. A bomb. A scream that had never been given voice.
“At any moment,” you whispered, answering the question he hadn’t asked.
He nodded. No surprise. He already knew.
He knew what the Evol had become. That your body couldn’t carry what it was never designed to hold. That the Core — meant to empower — was now the source of slow, elegant devastation.
He knew you were made of chaos. Born to fracture. Destined to burn.
You, who had broken him. And so many others in your wake. Your love had never healed. It had only bled slower.
He didn’t flinch.
He pulled away from your chest, reached for the t-shirt folded over the back of the chair, and helped you slip into it. His touch was clinical. Gentle. Resigned.
Not cold. Not warm. Just necessary.
You swallowed against the lump rising in your throat. It didn’t move.
“Come on,” he said, voice suddenly softer. “Let’s go.”
You blinked. “More tests?”
“No. There's a fair. In our old district. Crowds, noise. Bad music. Terrible food.”
You snorted — just once — but held back the gallows humor itching to spill from your lips. Too early for jokes about death-day parades.
“All right,” you murmured. Pulled your hoodie over your head. Slipped on your sneakers.
You bent to tie the laces, but before your fingers reached them, Caleb was already kneeling before you.
Kneeling.
Your breath hitched.
Just like back then. Just like a lifetime ago.
You shifted your weight awkwardly, as if the floor had gone uneven beneath your feet. The moment was too intimate. Too real.
“An Admiral tying shoelaces,” you said with a weak smirk. “Now that’s more paradoxical than the Colonel ever was.”
He looked up at you. Fingers tightening the knot. A ghost of a smile pulled at his mouth — brief, boyish, and so devastatingly familiar it made your chest ache.
“Let’s agree I outrank your dignity today,” he murmured. “Don’t make me invoke protocol Alpha-Pip-Squeak.”
At some point, it started to feel like time had folded in on itself.
The sounds, the smells, the fireworks, the shrieking laughter of children, the curling smoke from endless food stalls — it all swirled into a surreal kaleidoscope of celebration. A world too alive.
Too bright.
It felt wrong. Your heart was failing, slowly betraying you, yet the world kept spinning, singing, dancing without hesitation.
At first, it stung. The unfairness of it. The cruelty.
You didn’t want to die. You didn’t want to vanish into memory.
You had dreamt of children — your children — running through crowds with cotton candy bigger than their faces, covered in chocolate and ice cream. You used to see your future so clearly: a wide house with a garden and a swingset, and somewhere up in the attic, a claw machine you’d insisted on installing, turning the whole floor into a chaotic arcade.
Your eyes filled with tears.
You blinked them away, catching Caleb watching you. You smiled.
“Smoke,” you murmured. “Got in my eyes.”
He nodded. Didn’t believe you, but let you have it.
He wasn’t wearing his Admiral’s uniform anymore. Jeans. A T-shirt with a stupid graphic. A jacket. A cap. He looked familiar. Almost close. Almost yours.
You walked slowly, shoulders brushing occasionally, hands near but never touching. Neither of you tried to bridge the gap. It would’ve felt dishonest. And you were grateful for that honesty. Even if it hurt.
You took a few shots at the game booths. Your hands still remembered. When you won an oversized plush flamingo, you handed it to a girl with bright red ribbons in her pigtails. She couldn’t have been more than six.
You asked her name. Rolled it around on your tongue. You could’ve named a daughter that.
Caleb noticed when your steps started to falter. Without a word, he led you toward an empty table at the edge of the crowd.
While he went for food, you let yourself sink back into the chair, exhaustion tugging hard at your spine. Your eyelids fluttered, but you refused to let sleep steal this. This might not be happiness, but it wasn’t pain.
And that was enough.
He came back with a platter full of street food. You wouldn’t taste much of it. But you remembered. You knew. And for now, that was enough, too.
“It’s a clear night,” he said. “Wanna ride the Ferris wheel?”
You nodded. You’d say yes to anything that would delay the return to sterile rooms, to IV drips and ticking clocks.
The cabin swayed gently as it rose. Wind cooled your cheeks, carrying away the stubborn tears that kept threatening to fall. But you wouldn’t cry. You wouldn’t let grief ruin this night.
“Are you still angry?” you asked.
“Yes.”
“Do you still… hate me?”
He didn’t answer right away.
His gaze drifted over the glowing chaos below, where lights bled together into a gold-and-rainbow puddle of motion and life.
“No,” he said at last. “And I never did.”
He turned toward you, reached up, and tucked a loose strand of hair behind your ear.
“I said it in anger. I was too furious to mean it.”
“I deserved it.”
“You deserved my anger,” he agreed. “But not this. Not a slow, painful fade. Not the kind of desperation that makes you choose impossible things.”
“Caleb…” your voice cracked. “Please… don’t say goodbye yet. It’s not time.”
“I’m trying to be honest,” he murmured. His eyes dropped to your hands, folded like a small prayer in your lap. He looked like he wanted to reach for them — but didn’t. “I’ve learned what hiding the truth from the people you love can cost.”
You swallowed. “I’m… still someone you love?”
He nodded, steady. “There’s no one closer.”
“Then promise me—”
“No.” The word was sharp. Too fast. Too raw.
“No,” he repeated. “I won’t even try.”
“But you could be happy again. If you let yourself open up—”
“Could you?” he cut in. “Could you promise that if I go first, you’ll find someone else? That you’ll love another man? Hold his hand, kiss him, like I never existed?”
Your answer was immediate.
“No.”
Too quick. Too honest.
And he knew. You both did.
Whatever tied you together was deeper than flesh, deeper than time. You could peel away the skin, erase the past, burn the memories— but your soul would still reach for his in the dark.
And his would still be holding on. Waiting.
Until the next life.
He didn’t take you back to the hospital.
By now, he knew what you had understood five years ago. It was pointless. There was no cure.
You lowered yourself carefully onto the bed, curled up on your side. You looked at him — just a silhouette in the dark, and still somehow larger than life.
“Stay with me tonight,” you whispered.
He didn’t hesitate.
He slipped off his jacket, climbed in beside you. Didn’t touch. Just lay there — facing you.
You stared into each other’s eyes for a long time. Until they closed on their own. Until sleep claimed you.
And the nightmare followed.
The same one, always the same — your body splitting apart, bones breaking under pressure, your chest tearing open as the Core rejected you, gave birth to a creature that looked almost like you. But not you.
Black. Cold. Merciless.
Your body left behind, hollow — a deflated skin, a costume discarded.
You screamed. But you didn’t wake.
You thrashed, fighting against the blanket, clawing at your chest, trying to force the monster back inside, back into the dark where it belonged.
Hands. Strong, steady, familiar.
They caught you. Held you. Rocked you.
Lips brushed your temple. Words — soft, foreign — spoken in a language your heart remembered even if your ears couldn’t make them out.
“No… please…”
Caleb held you like a child, pressing your face against his chest.
Tears — hot, fast — fell onto your cheeks. Not yours.
His.
“I’ve got you, sweetheart. You hear me? You’re not alone. I’m right here. I’m not leaving. I swear to God, I’m not letting go. Come back to me. Please, come back…”
“Caleb…”
“I’m here. I’m here, baby.” His arms tightened, anchoring you in place.
“I’m so scared,” you whispered, fragile.
“I know, Pip. I know.” His voice cracked — raw, guttural. “I’ll take it all. All the pain. I’ll kill every monster in your path. I’ll tear down the night itself. Just say the word, and I’ll burn this world to the ground to bring you peace.”
“I love you…” The words came with sobs now, spilling out, no longer held back.
His lips kissed your forehead. Your temple. Your cheeks.
“And I love you. My girl. My sunshine. My joy. My… Pip-Squeak.”
“I’m sorry I stole this time from us.”
He shook his head, still holding you like you might slip through his fingers.
“I forgave you a long time ago. How could I not forgive you? God, how could I ever stay mad at you? I’ll be here, right here, until your very last breath.”
He kept whispering. Murmuring softness into your hair. As if the five years of agony had never happened.
As if you’d never left.
And slowly, gently, you drifted back into sleep. Held in his arms. Wrapped in his warmth. In his love.
With one thought cradling your soul: If the universe is kind — let me go like this. Let me go in his arms. Let me go loved.
All morning, Caleb didn’t let go of you.
Like he was making up for every moment of distance, he kept touching you — a fleeting kiss, a gentle brush of fingers, little gestures wrapped in warmth and care that tore your heart in half.
You didn’t want to let go of him either.
And when you loved each other, it wasn’t just love — it was desperation.
Through trembling limbs, through broken breath and quiet cries, the pain poured out. The guilt. The fear.
It wasn’t sex. It was absolution.
Then he drove again.
Said he wanted to show you something. You didn’t look out the window. You looked at him. Held his hand. Silence said more than words ever could.
You only grew uneasy when the car pulled up in front of a building — far too official to be anything like a park or a gallery.
“Where are we?”
“It’s… a military lab,” he said, with a small, apologetic smile. Then he kissed you again. “Just need to drop in. Work.”
You followed him inside.
A narrow, impersonal room. Cold lighting. The air too clean.
Caleb gestured to a chair. You sat. He knelt next to you. Kissed you again — too gently. Too long. Something about it felt… wrong.
“I’m sorry, Pips,” he whispered. “I just… I can’t do nothing.”
“Caleb? What are you doing—?”
You saw the glint of metal. Just before the needle plunged into your artery.
“CALEB!”
“Even if you hate me for the rest of your life, I have to try. You have to live, baby.”
You wanted to scream, to shove him, to run — but your limbs turned to jelly.
You slumped into his arms. And everything went dark.
The lab was silent.
Sterile.
Lifeless.
Two rooms. One pane of glass between them — just wide enough for you not to miss a single second of the show.
You were strapped to a hospital bed. Wires trailing from your arms and chest. Your head throbbed.
Across the glass — Caleb.
“No. No, Caleb, stop! This is insane!”
Your voice cracked, but your chest— your chest was… light. The weight, the crushing pain — gone.
You began to thrash. The heart monitor shrieked in alarm.
You pulled at the restraints — raw, bloody skin tearing against metal cuffs.
You didn’t stop. Didn’t care.
Slippery with blood, your wrists finally slipped free — it felt like peeling flesh from bone.
You tore off the tubes. Fell from the bed.
Your legs wouldn’t hold you. So you crawled.
Crawled to the glass.
“CALEB!”
You slammed your fists against it, over and over again.
He lay on the other side — restrained. But the straps couldn’t hold the violent spasms. And the glass couldn’t muffle the sound of his screaming.
“CALEB! YOU PROMISED!”
You forced yourself upright, pounded your fists until your knuckles split open.
“You promised… you said you’d stay… you said you’d be there until my last breath— CALEB— !”
Your voice disintegrated into a scream.
You kept hammering. Like a moth caught in a jar, helplessly throwing itself against the cruel, unyielding glass.
Kept crying.
The door hissed open behind you. A man in a lab coat.
You lunged at him — knocked him flat. Ran.
Another body in the hallway — you shoved them aside.
You found the next door. Slammed your palm to the entry panel.
It opened.
“CALEB—!”
You collapsed onto him, draping your entire body over his, as if your weight alone could stop the process.
Black veins had begun to trace up his neck. The same pattern that once bloomed across your chest.
“How could you…?” Your voice broke into pieces. “You can’t leave me… you promised…”
For a moment, his eyes found yours. His hand twitched. Reached.
You seized it. Gripped tight.
Tried to unbuckle the straps. They didn’t give.
Hands grabbed you from behind. Dragged you.
You fought like a wild thing. Thrashed. Kicked. One of them fell — you crawled back to him.
Then two more came. You were screaming. Your throat raw.
“No! Don’t take him! DON’T TAKE HIM FROM ME!”
And just before you could lunge forward again—
Another needle.
Your body gave out. Everything dimmed. Collapsed.
But even in that final, spiraling moment—
You whispered one last time: “Caleb… please… don’t leave me…”
Beep. Beep. Beep. Beep.
Your heart hadn’t beaten this steady in years.
Beep. Beep. Beep. Beep.
It would’ve been better if it had stopped.
You didn’t open your eyes. You didn’t ask where you were. You knew.
You were in a world where he was gone.
Beep. Beep. Beep. Beep.
You used to live with physical pain — you knew how to endure it. You knew how to die with it. You’d pictured your grave more than once — just beside the one marked “Josephine.”
The one where, for a time, they’d already carved “Caleb.” Now they’d just correct the second date. As if it had all been a clerical error.
Beep. Beep. Beep. Beep.
“Shut up,” you muttered, ripping the sensor from your finger.
Beeeeeeeeeeeeep.
The monitor whined in protest.
You clamped your hands over your ears, buried your head under the pillow.
Beep. Beep. Beep. Beep.
Beeeeeeeeeeeeep.
Beep. Beep. Beep. Beep.
“What the hell?!”
Another monitor?
You pulled the pillow away. Opened your eyes.
On the second cot, just a few feet away— Caleb.
Alive. Awake.
His monitor was singing the same rhythm. And on his lips — the hint of a smile.
“You bastard!”
You flung the pillow at him. He caught it.
“Did you mourn me?”
“That’s still pending! You—YOU!!! You took my Aethor Core?!”
You looked around for something else to throw. He raised his hands in surrender.
“Easy, Pip-Squeak. I didn’t take anything. Your precious Core is right where it belongs — in that merciless, vengeful little heart of yours.”
“I’m merciless? You made me believe you were—!”
You stopped.
Because you knew. God, you knew you would’ve done the same.
You slid off the cot carefully, clutching the IV stand for balance. Crossed the short distance to his bedside, testing each step. Sat down on the edge.
You reached for his hand. Fingers trembling, unsure. But the moment you touched him — he was warm.
Not fading. Not cold. Not gone.
Warm, alive, present.
And it shattered something inside you.
“You weren’t dying because of the Core itself,” he said gently. “It was the energy feedback loop. The Core stopped syncing with your biopattern. Basically, your system crashed, and the power cell started pulling directly from your heart to survive. Which, you know, kinda fatal.”
“So what… you swapped our batteries?”
“In layman’s terms — yes.”
“And that doesn’t kill you?”
“My protocore’s a lazy old tank,” he grinned. “It got a nice boost from yours. Just enough to last me, I think.”
“You swear that’s the truth?” you arched a skeptical brow.
“I do.” He reached up, hesitantly, brushing your cheek.
You didn’t pull away.
“I told you I’d take your pain.”
“And you also promised you’d stay with me till my last breath,” you whispered, lips nearly brushing his.
“And I intend to keep that promise,” he said, pulling you close and kissing you. “And if you try to run again, just so you know — I’ve got a year’s supply of those sedative syringes.”
You let out a small laugh, nudged him gently, then climbed onto his cot, curling into his side, head on his shoulder.
“I’ll keep that in mind in case you pull another stunt like that. Admiral.”
His arm slipped around your waist. His grin widened — softer, familiar. Like the old days. Like he was just your Caleb again.
“Well,” he said, “those are consequences I’m willing to accept.”
Beep. Beep. Beep. Beep.
His heart beat stronger. And yours — yours found his rhythm. Matched it.
Perfectly. Just like always.
Because the truth was simple.
You couldn’t exist in a world where one of you was missing.

Tell Me No {1}
Pairing: professor!Yunho x f reader
Genre: smut, dark academia vibes
Word count: 6.3k
Summary: You'd always been a picture perfect college student. So when Professor Jeong gives you a grade that threatens your flawless track-record, you'll do just about anything to raise it.
Warnings: smut, MDNI, age gap not specified but it's obviously there, reader wants him bad but is kinda in denial, dry humping, heavy petting, lots of praise
A/n: Professor Yunho always hits, I've seen so many fics on here that I've loved but I just had to make my own. I hope y'all enjoy <3 (I'm working on a part 2 and part 3 for this now, lmk if you want to be tagged!)
Part 1 | Part 2 | Part 3 | Masterlist | Read it on ao3
Professor Jeong was remarkably smart, remarkably tall, and remarkably well-liked. There wasn't a thing he could do, it seemed, to upset anyone. His third year as faculty, he was already surpassing all expectations the Dean and Vice President had set. It was a revelation: all his students absolutely adored him, every single one. All, except for you.
It was late fall, and the weather was starting to turn. Leaves were falling in clouds of red and yellow, and the air was crisp in the mornings. The entire week the sky was overcast, not a ray of sunshine to remind you of the warm season just past. It felt gloomy, calm, and focused on campus, and it should have been the perfect start to your favorite time of year.
It should have been. But as you sat in your Contemporary Literature class and read over the marks on your most recent paper, you felt nothing but rage.
63%. That's what he'd given you. That, and a slew of notes in red ink along every margin, telling you just how poorly you'd screwed this whole thing up. You didn't much care for contemporary books, that was the worst part; this was a class you were required to take as a part of your literature degree, and one you'd dreaded taking, no matter how many raving reviews you'd heard about the professor. It was an added slap in the face that he was so damn harsh with grading, when you really couldn't give a fuck about the books you'd been assigned to read.
It only took a week of class before you understood. His good looks, his sense of humor, his easy and flirtatious nature, those were the things that made every student love him. Class itself was a slog, but you'd been expecting that at least, and made it through your first two papers with decent grades. Only three papers and a final exam were graded in his class, and you panicked every time you handed one in, not knowing if you'd be able to pass with at least a 70% and get your much needed credits. But so far it had been fine; you'd never needed to ask him much, never seen a reason to visit office hours. You had no desire to talk to this good-looking professor, even if your mind wandered in his class. It was all too easy to picture him in all his naked glory, but a part of you knew your dreams must be too good to be true, and you'd hate to have the illusion shattered.
It wasn't out of character for you to crush on a teacher. And it wasn't that you hated him. But what good was a hot professor if he was going to fuck up all of your plans?
"Hey, did he screw you too?" a voice behind you asks. You didn't bother turning around, knowing the aggravating man it had come from and exactly the conversation he was hoping for.
"Yes, obviously," you answer. Professor Jeong's a fucking asshole, you add to yourself. Dad's gonna fucking kill me.
Here on Daddy's money, you were that girl. And though it was an obvious perk, it came with one severe expectation. You would be done in four years, and never get below a C. There would be no making up credits, no re-dos. Summer was meant to be spent interning, not making up for stupid mistakes during the year. Your dad's words ring clearly through your mind as you sigh into your desk.
"Wanna go get coffee and bitch about prof for an hour?"
"No, Marcus, I have shit to do," you respond.
"One day you won't be such a bitch to me," he replies, before slinging his backpack over one shoulder and shoving his long hair out of his face. "I'm gonna go to his office hours tomorrow and give him a piece of my mind," he says as he walks past you.
"Good luck with that," you joke, staring down at the floor.
You'd been able to wear your favorite boots today, and your legs covered in black tights were a sight for sore eyes. But none of it could be enjoyed, these little beauties of life that usually brought you peace. The potential of failing this stupid class was looming, and now more than ever you were thankful for the weather, for sunny days always made your bad moods even worse, making you feel almost guilty for your negativity.
"Come to my office hours tomorrow, I have to head home now," you hear Professor Jeong tell a clearly panicked classmate, who sighs with defeat and slumps away. You look up, taking in the small room, a class with only thirty desks, dark and windowless, with bookshelves lining the back wall behind a large mahogany table. The few lamps at the front illuminated the tired and frustrated bodies of your peers as they exit to the front corner, and there is no part of you that wants to join that sad parade. There had to be a way out of this, a way to avoid your worst nightmare. There was no way you'd let your hard work of the last two years go to waste, all to be replaced with beratement from your Dad and a forced position in his company.
You'd never been overcome like this, or so determined. Something in the red ink on your perfectly printed paper had switched a flip. Paper in hand, you sling your book bag over your shoulder and storm to the front of the classroom. The last student had just slipped out, and your professor was turning off the lamp high on the right-most bookshelf, his back to you.
"I need to talk to you," you say. The force in your voice shocks you, and you take a deep breath to recover.
"My office hours are tomorrow, you can co-"
"No, I need to talk to you now."
He turns to you, peering over his shoulder before his chest has time to face you too. Instantly his gaze is piercing, a deepness in his brown eyes that you'd never noticed before. His suit is perfect and sharp and intimidating, and your knees feel wobbly as your guts roll. Who were you to be demanding such a thing from him? You had no idea where it had come from, other than the primal fear of a life lived under your Dad's severe control. Your degree was your chance to escape, and you'd stop at nothing to secure your freedom.
"I have to head home now, I can't talk to you." His voice is stern but soft, and feels like a warm breeze blowing past your cheeks and neck. A shudder runs through you, one you try your best to hide.
"Just five minutes, I'll walk with you out of the building," you reply. He lets out a frustrated sigh through his nose, crossing his arms and staring at you deeply. With a subtle shake of his head he straightens up again, grabbing his own bag off his chair and zipping it closed, before slipping it over his head. He pushes in the chair, and moves to the other lamp, looking back to you once more before clicking it off. For a brief moment the room is blanketed in complete darkness, and all you can hear is the soft rustle of trees outside blowing in the wind.
He opens the door, holding it until you exit, and locks it swiftly behind you.
"I was wondering when you'd finally come talk to me," he says, walking the opposite direction you expect, towards the back of the building. His long strides are hard to keep up with, and you balk at what to say now. There was something eery about his words, but something too that told you to keep going. This may just work, if you were willing to push through your nerves.
"My grades on my last two papers were reasonable, I didn't see any reason to come and argue with you about thos-"
"No, what I mean is, you obviously hate my class," he cuts you off.
"I- I don't, sir, I promise-"
"You don't need to lie to save my ego, I can easily tell when a student doesn't like the work I assign for them," he sighs softly.
"I just don't care much for contemporary books, I'm much more interested in historical literature. And literature written by women tends to interest me more, too," you reply. You'd reached the end of the hallway, the back double doors much shabbier than the front, but still adorned with wood carvings and leaf-shaped handles. Professor Jeong pushes the left door open with ease, holding it in silence until you exit again, rejoining you in your decent of the steps.
"Yes, I have heard this complaint a time or two, and I saw this coming from you, I know your type," he replies cooly, walking fast and still making no eye contact.
"I'm not any type of person, I don't know what the hell you're talking about," you snap, covering your mouth seconds later in regret.
"No, please, lay it all out, I am all ears. It's only about two minutes to the train station, so you'd better make use of it."
"You're seriously going to accuse me of being some "type" of student who complains about how all the books we read are by men, when your main critique of my last paper was that the perspective I took was predictable and the same as so many students before, and that I really should look outside of the box and be more creative with my thinking? When you assign the most boring, predictable, inside the box books known to man? What the hell do you expect, me to invent some deeper meaning to this whiny basic crap I'm reading?"
The words tumble out of you with force, another student you passed looking bewildered, ducking their head down and walking into the grass to avoid you. Adrenaline wracks through you, your heart pounding hard enough you could feel it in your head. You weren't sure what you were thinking, launching into such a personal attack of the books he'd assigned. But once he said to lay it all out, your mind couldn't think to do anything else. You try to walk in a straight line beside him, try to keep up with his strides without completely losing your breath. A distant strike of lightning is followed many seconds later by the low rumble of thunder, and your head snaps up in your anxious state, your whole body on high alert. Seconds stretch by, as the air feels suddenly colder and your sweater far too thin. You were waiting for his professional, academic response, knowing almost surely humiliation was about to greet you. But when you finally look up, his lips are turned up in a smirk. Your eyes go wide, wondering if he was laughing, if he found your statement so pathetic and stupid that all it did was make him chuckle.
"You're funny," he deadpans, looking up to the cloudy sky. "And no, I'm not smiling, not at all." His smirk grows wider, almost to a full smile, before he turns from you and steels his face, his expression back to his typical stoicism as his eyes meet yours.
"You think your paper deserves a second look?" he asks, as you cross the bike path and walk through the strip of pine trees, before starting down the stairs to the train station.
"Absolutely, sir, I just want a second chance, maybe I can explain to you further what I meant in certain sections, help you understand- I- I'll rewrite sections if you'd like, anything for a better grade-"
You are cut off by the man in the ticket booth.
"Heading home, Mr. Jeong?" the man calls jovially, waving a large hand in his direction, a pale yellow ticket between his fingers.
"I'll take two today Mr. Choi, thank you," he replies, smoothly walking up to the booth and slipping the man two one-dollar bills.
"Have a nice ride, enjoy your evening!" the man calls as you both walk towards the platform, your boots scuffing on a crack in the stone tiles, eyes too focused on the tall broad back in front of you to notice the ground.
Already a train was approaching, and by the look of your professor, it was obvious this was his. You aren't sure why you're still following; you pull up for a second, eyes wide as you take in the scene around you. The station ss teeming with people, many students and several faces you think you vaguely recognize, but amidst it all his head of black hair ss visible, so much taller than anyone else around. He walks forward a few steps before looking behind him, noticing your absence and squinting hard, trying to find you. The train was now pulling up, and his eyes were flicking between it and the direction he'd lost you, looking the least bit frantic, if that was even possible for him. As soon as the train stops people launch towards the doors, handing the ticket-man their yellow slips and hurriedly finding the seats they want.
When the crowd thins enough and he can see you again, Professor Jeong makes his way to you quickly.
"Whatever you do, don't you dare get on this train car with me," he utters, slipping one of the tickets into your hand and closing it in his. "Don't get off at Fortsmith station, and don't wait for me by the red phone booth outside."
As he walks towards the door his head turns to meet your gaze one last time, and something deep and mischievous glints in his eyes. As he enters the car, ducking low to fit through the small door, you run up behind him, handing the man your ticket too and slipping inside. A moment later the ticket-man jumps in too, sliding closed the door and locking it, sitting in his designated chair.
"How many stops to Fortsmith station?" you ask him, peering over your shoulder at the nearly packed car, only one empty seat next to a man that looked leeringly at you, in a way that made your skin crawl.
"12 stops, ma'am," the man answers, his accent thick.
"How- how many minutes is that, approximately?"
"About 40 minutes, ma'am."
You sigh, stepping out of his way. "Thank you," you add, nodding to him slightly, before turning back around to find a place to stand. When you turn, though, a different seat is empty, one you could swear had been filled by your professor just moments ago.
When you look to the right, you find him sitting by the leering old man and watching you intently. And quickly you slip yourself into that now empty seat, breathing a sigh of relief for your poor heels.
The ride was smoother than you had expected, but the stops were arduous, and each time as people filed on and off, you felt your nerves growing and shaking you. This seemed so strange, that your professor was letting you follow him, giving you the ticket and directions so you wouldn't get lost. Had your little outburst really piqued his interest? Was he only winding you up to shit on you later, in the privacy of his own home, when it was only you two? Suddenly, you realize you know nothing about this man. You aren't even sure if he lives alone, if he has a family, if anything about this little excursion iss a good idea, or if you're walking right into the den of a lion. A deep shudder runs through you when the announcement for 'Fortsmith' comes through the speakers. Only another minute, and you'll be wobbling your way out of here. You'll be in a completely foreign part of the city, not one person knowing where you were.
The station is much smaller, not underground like the University stop, the train only at a full stop for maybe thirty seconds before whisking itself off again. Only one other person steps off with you two; the woman makes quickly for the north exit of the station and disappears into the pouring rain, the cool outside air hitting you and making your body go rigid.
With a quick glance around, you spot the phone booth. It was just to the left of the south exit, visible through the glass panels of the door. As Professor Jeong exits he opens his umbrella, standing patiently by the red booth as you made your way in his direction, your body shaking. Once you exit he begins walking beside you, holding you close under the small radius of his umbrella, his large hand on your back feeling like it was searing right into your skin.
Its a short and quiet walk to the quaint street he lives on, large trees covering the sides of the small boulevard and ivy covering the stone walls of most of the houses. Each was small, only a few with a second floor, including his; it was exactly the type of place you'd expect him to live, the heavy front door creaking as he pulls it open and walks in ahead of you, quickly closing his umbrella and setting it down, and closing the door with a gentle thud once you enter.
A draft hits your wet legs and causes you to shiver again, and you wrap your arms tightly around yourself. Inside it is dim and hazy, and soon he was pulling out a set of matches and lighting a candle on his mantle, the living room coming into view once the warm light started flickering.
"This is my office, wait in here," he says, opening a door just down the hall. When you walk in there is only the soft light of the early evening to guide you, the floor so hard to see that you reach out your hands and shuffle slowly. Once his desk comes into view you spot the ornate lamp just behind it, and carefully reach around to click it on, the room suddenly awash in a gentle pinkness.
Not unlike his classroom, the walls are covered with stacked bookshelves, but in here it was every inch, not a single bit of free space available. You walk slowly to the closest shelf, your eyes scanning over the spines. Shock rips through you as you see the authors: Dickinson, Austen, Bronte, so many of the historical women you adore. Above that shelf is a collection of more contemporary works: Cline, Hooks, Mock, your eyes just about bug out at seeing the names, breath hitching. Here was a stunning collection of so many of your favorite authors, an entire giant bookcase dedicated to the work of women, and women alone.
"You found my favorite shelf, I see." His voice is low and buttery and doesn't shock you, only makes you feel like melting into the floor. But you can't help turning suddenly and clinging to yourself, the room still feeling chilly. "You aren't in trouble, why are you looking at me like that?"
"Why did you bring me here?" you shoot back, taking in a quick breath.
"Why did you come when I told you not to?" he replies, walking close and handing you a cup of steaming tea, the notes of lavender and honey hitting your nose.
"You- you obviously wanted me to come, you told me exactly where to get off-"
You cut yourself off at the sight of him smirking again, and shake your head, the shock of the situation finally hitting you.
"I shouldn't be here, should I?" you suddenly panic, shoving the tea back in his direction, making for your bag on the floor. But as you crouch and grab it your hands feel like stone, not willing to move an inch. You don't want to leave, not at all, as much as some part of you is telling you to stop this and head back to campus, now. You stand back up quickly, feeling awkward as you smooth down the bottom of your oversized sweater, turning to him again.
"Is this wrong?" he asks, gesturing between you with the mug of tea.
"I- I don't know," you sigh.
"I made you tea because you looked cold, are you sure you don't want it?"
You stare longingly at it, his hand easily wrapping around the entire thing. With a hard swallow you push yourself to take a step, grabbing the tea from him and finally taking a sip, your chest instantly feeling warmer.
"Why did you let me follow you?" you ask, turning around and sitting yourself on the smooth top of his desk , crossing your legs. His legs cross too as he leans back against the shelf behind him, a longer piece of his black hair falling in front of his eyes.
"I've been hoping to get a chance to chat with you, ever since I read your first paper."
"So even though you could tell I hated your readings, even though I'm that type of student you seem to have such great distaste for, you still wanted to talk with me?" you ask.
"I kept hoping you'd come to office hours, but you never did," he sighs. "You might hate my class, but you're obviously passionate about literature. You'd be surprised how rare that is, amongst all my English students."
"You've only had a few like me, then?" you ask.
"I've never had any student like you."
Silence hangs in the air, and you sip at your tea to fill it, savoring the way your body is relaxing. You stare at him, trying to read it all. Why the hell would he say something like that to you? Alone in his house, no indication of another soul residing here, you feel oddly comfortable. It had never crossed your mind that you could possibly end up in a situation like this.
"You're determined to get at least a C, aren't you?" he asks.
"I have to," you reply. "I can't- I just have to."
"For your scholarship?"
"No- well, sort of, in a way," you sigh, thinking of your Dad. "It's a long story, but I have to."
"Let me give you some advice then. Just because you don't much care for an assignment, don't throw in the towel and do the bare minimum. Your other work is too good, it makes it obvious when you've barely spent any time on something."
You stop short, tea clasped tightly in your hands, your eyes wide.
"Do you write, any fiction or poetry?" he asks.
"Yes."
"Good, you have an immense talent for writing, you must nurture it."
It was the last thing you were expecting, and the words send shivers of warmth through your limbs, your mouth hanging slightly agape.
"God, do you have any idea how remarkable you are?" he asks, his head suddenly shaking, his arms crossing.
"What do you mean?" You try to keep your composure, but his last words feel like a metaphorical breaking of a boundary, and suddenly your cunt aches and your feet feel tingly. Were you really that easy to break? Liking praise this much was something you'd always felt shame about; your cheeks redden as your heart rate slowly picks up, and you are sure your flush is obvious, even in the faintly pink light of the room.
"You're just- you're remarkable, there's no other way to put it. Like I said, I've never had a student like you," he says.
"Then why torture me with such a bad grade?" you ask, taking another sip.
"I'm not torturing you, it was deserved," he replies. "You wrote that whole paper the night before it was due, didn't you?"
You turn your eyes away in lieu of responding, not wanting to admit that he was absolutely right.
"I know everyone says I'm a harsh grader, but what about next year? You'll have two semesters with either Haas or Park, and both of them are stricter than I am, both expect near perfection. I'm preparing you as best as I can for next year, so your whole degree doesn't blow up in your face at the final hurdle."
"You really care that much?" you fake pout, chuckling a bit and biting your lip.
"Yes, yes I do. You're too smart to not make it out of that University with a degree." His voice is genuine, not an ounce of sarcasm present. Something about how sure and even it is adds to the heat in your low guts, and you squirm slightly, trying to relieve the pressure building between your legs.
"Come here," you say, setting down your mug and holding out your hands in front of you.
"What?" he asks as he pushes off the bookshelf, uncrossing his arms as he starts walking. In only three steps he's just inches away, towering over you as you spread your legs slightly. You're hit with his smell, something musky and rich that you can't name, and all it does is add to the heat inside you, sweat beginning to form underneath your sweater.
"Will you read my stories and poems, if I show them to you?" you ask, tugging on the lapels of his suit jacket, your eyes locked together.
"I won't hold back in my reactions," he says, sighing deeply to try and keep the growing firmness in his pants at bay. Being this close to you was not something he'd planned for, and his head spins as your soft eyes look up so longingly, his own guts doing somersaults at the precious sight.
"I wouldn't want you to," you say, smiling, unbuttoning his jacket and exposing his white button down, making work of the buttons there too, from top to bottom.
"Hey, hey, wait a minute," he chides from above, but he doesn't move an inch, doesn't do a thing to prevent your movements. You notice quickly he isn't wearing an under shirt, met with the creaminess of his skin as you expose his chest, working slowly down to the lowest buttons. You pull his shirt free from where it was tucked in his pants, loosening his belt to help you, before pulling the sides of the shirt wide and finally revealing his naked torso.
Now you understood. He was a nightmare, but in all the ways you least expected. He was better than your dreams, hotter than you could imagine; the flat plane of his chest was broad, and his tummy was the perfect mixture of muscle and softness, a small dark line of hair snaking down from his belly button and into his pants. And his pants, when you finally look down, you see it; his bulge is straining against the fabric, long and hard and thick, and immediately you start salivating, running your tongue along your bottom lip to collect yourself.
"Good god," he groans from above, his pupils blown, losing the fight to not be affected by you. Your small, soft hands running over his torso feel heaven-sent, and in seconds he's rock hard, shamelessly staring down the low cut of your sweater, letting himself look at you the way he's been wanting to for months.
"This- this is what you want?" he asks, breathless, running a thumb down the side of your cheek, turning your head up further to meet his gaze head-on.
"You- you just kept saying such nice things, and it made me feel all weird right here." You grab his hand and pull it towards your crotch, the warmth and wetness immediately evident even with your tights in the way.
"Fuck," he groans, tipping his head back and sighing. Though he knew it was already risky bringing you here, lines were now being crossed that were objectively wrong. He tries to pull his hand away from your core, but he can't, and when he looks down at you again, your eyes are wide with want and need, conflict screwing all of his thoughts into a tight knot.
But before he can stop himself, his open lips meet yours. The kiss is immediately deep, all the tension and heat you'd just created washing through you both. He starts applying some pressure with his hand, rubbing his fingers up and down against the warmth of your cunt, and you moan into his mouth, suddenly breaking the kiss when he hits your sensitive spot, your mouth falling open. With no support behind you, you grab onto his arms, pulling him closer as you move to kiss him again, his right hand wrapping around your back to hold you up.
His lips are soft and sweet in yours, and you can't help biting at the plumpness of his lower lip, making a quick breath escape his mouth before he dives in harder, the hand on your back moving up to your nape as he pulls your face impossibly closer. You reach your hands out to feel over the bareness of his torso again; his skin feels hot and smooth, his abdominal muscles clenching as he leans into you more and takes all the effort of steadying you both. Balanced on the edge of his desk you feel shaky, so you reach around his hips and pull them closer, forcing him to remove his hand as your cores meet in sudden ecstasy, the hardness of him feeling all too delicious against your soaked cunt.
Immediately you're grinding against him, savoring every bit of pleasure you can get, while his wide torso cages you in and his soft lips move to your cheek, then your neck, trailing down until he's biting at the soft skin above your collar bone. The choked moan that leaves you sounds almost like a cry of pain, but it was really just the shock, the unexpected pleasure you were getting from every little movement of his.
He pulls his mouth away, suddenly nervous he's taken a wrong step, gone too far. His hair falls in his face as he watches you shamelessly grind against him, your eyes still screwed shut in ecstasy, stopping at nothing to get all of the pleasure you can from it. It takes you a few moments to register the absence of his lips, and when you do you look up at him through hooded eyes, wondering why he pulled back.
"What do you want?" he asks, working hard to rip his eyes away from the sight of you grinding on him.
"Just wanna be good for you," you say breathlessly, swallowing a moan. "Wanna- wanna make you feel good."
"You are making me feel good, angel, I'm so fucking hard," he sighs, looking down again and starting to rock his hips slightly, in time with yours. The added pressure and friction send jolts of pleasure through you, and suddenly your head feels a bit fuzzy, your hands and feet tingling with delight. "You gotta tell me to stop, I can't- this, fuck, we shouldn't be..."
"Please don't stop," you cry, holding onto him for dear life, focused entirely on the feeling of him against you, his strong arms in your hands, his hot breath on your face, his hardness giving you more pleasure than you could ever dream of. "I'll rewrite my entire paper, I'll do anything, just please, don't stop."
"You don't have to promise me that right now," he says, holding you tight against him. "You're too good, let yourself have this."
With his permission, you let go completely, all thoughts leaving you as the pleasure becomes overwhelming, your spasming cunt sending shockwaves of pleasure up through your entire core. His lips are on yours again, and he kisses you deeply, savoring every taste he can find, all but devouring you as he keeps up with your pace, rocking his straining cock against you just how you need it. You feel fully enveloped by him, by his smell and his words, by the feelings of complete safety and desire that he's lighted within you. You never expected this conversation with him to go so well, to head in this direction. For the first time in your life a teacher saw what you hoped they would in your writing, and his admission of his admiration for you left you wanting every bit of praise and pleasure he could give.
Finally, you feel it building deep, a volcano about to explode, your core tightening and threatening to snap. The feeling is searingly hot and delicious, your legs starting to shake, his hands moving to hold onto your thighs as you desperately shake and hump against him, chasing your orgasm to completion. You rip your mouth from his to scream, all the glee and nerves of your evening coming to a head, your body going rigid as it rips through you, your climax so intense and long lasting that you can't quite believe it's real.
"Good girl, let yourself cum," he whispers in your ear, helping you through it. His cock is achingly hard in his pants, but the feeling of you coming in his arms takes all his attention, the most beautiful sight he's ever seen. It's hard to tell when it ends, your legs still so shaky, but eventually your rubbing ceases, and he stops his thrusting too, just holding you in place as you pant and center yourself, adrenaline and happiness coursing through you.
"You okay?" he asks.
"More than okay," you sigh, slumping into him, making you both laugh. It's light, airy, the sound an absolute joy to your ears. You look up, face flushed and cheeks high in a smile, and he leans down to kiss you, a soft and patient kiss that makes butterflies dance in your stomach.
"I didn't mean for that to escalate like that," he says, sighing.
"I did," you say, and it makes him laugh harder, his high cheeks and beautiful smile greeting you. You've never seen him look so sweet, so happy; your stomach suddenly clenches with a feeling of utter admiration, and it's so deep that tears spring in the corners of your eyes. You blink them away, not wanting to cry in front of him, but you can't help the look on your face. His smile is gorgeous, and internally you're melting at just how perfect he is.
You stay locked together for a long time, the minutes passing by as you both breath deeply, more kisses planted on your forehead and cheeks that make you giggle and squirm. Eventually you come down, your legs finally not shaking, your body coming back to the temperature of the room. The cool air is making you sleepy, and you yawn as you pull away from him, gently moving him back so you can stand and stretch your legs, gathering yourself.
It's silent, slightly awkward, but nothing in you feels scared. Though your legs are back to freezing, you feel a warmth in your chest and stomach that won't leave, and when you look up to him, his face is soft and still and utterly lovely.
"I really didn't mean for that to happen," he says, clearing his throat and finally breaking the silence.
"It's okay, seriously, I- I wanted it to," you sigh, holding his gaze.
"I really think you're amazing, it's not just that you're beautiful, I- I want you to go places, I want all of your dreams to come true. With writing, and everything else too," he says, running a hand through his hair.
"I know," you respond, nodding and smiling. "I know."
It's all you can think to say, when so much is running through your head. Now that your heart rate is more normal you can actually think straight, and though you don't feel scared, there is some level of uncertainty dancing in the back of your mind. Where would this lead? And what could possibly come of it? Your own hormones and emotions had led the way earlier, and now you weren't so sure it had been the best choice. But you also couldn't fault yourself for doing it, because you knew that if given the chance, you'd absolutely do it again, as many times as he'd be willing to. Class now might be a nightmare, your active imagination supported by this memory. But that didn't sound all bad, either, frankly. It might be fun to make eyes at him and watch him stutter, to see just how much you could affect him in front of all your peers.
"Are you wanting to head home now?" he asked.
"I probably should, I have a lot of homework to do. And I need to get some dinner."
Twenty minutes later, the delivery arrives, and you sit in his living room sipping at your favorite soup, a casual conversation about your other classes filling the air. It had always bugged you when people asked about school, but for some reason with him, you felt giddy to brag, excited to share every grade and project you could. You felt seen, felt actually supported. It struck you over and over how strange it was to be feeling this way with him, of all people.
"Rewrite that paper, you have a week," he says as you stand in his open door, the streets and lawn drenched from the rain, but the sky now clear.
"Rewrite the whole thing?"
"I expect it to be up to the standard of your other two papers."
With all of the other work you had, it should have been frustratingly hard to finish it. But there was something about thinking of his face as you worked, of his hands, of his chest and his abs and his cock....
You finished the paper in record time, turning it in only four days later. And the next day in class it was lying on your desk when you entered, bright red marks along the front again.
91%.
You looked up at him, and though it was subtle, there was no question there was a glint in his eye as he winked.

OH SION AS YOUR BOYFRIEND

pairing : bf!sion x gf!reader genre : fluff, est. relationship warnings : so cute, self insert, crying, kissing, sion da best ever synopsis : headcannons that bf!sion would do wc : 2k a/n : wish debut w my fav ever :D also i got a wee bit carried away #sozz
constant cuteness aggression. sion was fond of so many of your traits, but his favorite was the fact you looked so cute all the time. there would be times where the two of you could be sitting next to each other, watching a movie or something of the sort and sion just completely suffocates you with hugs and kisses because of how adorable you look to him. he thinks you’re the cutest thing in the whole world and because of that he wants to appreciate you all the time.
both you and sion laid on the couch, cuddling. it had been a long day of work for both of you and you wanted the moment to just destress in each other's presence. your head was on sion’s chest as he stroked your hair softly. you picked your head up to look at him, pouting softly. sion smiled, his ears turning a soft shade of pink. “what?” you mumbled and he smiled even more, pulling you even close to him as he smothered your face in kisses making you giggle aloud.
“babe- stop it!” you cried out, trying to hold back your giggles but failing miserably. sion kissed the tip of your nose and leaned back, smiling even more. “my baby is just so cute i couldn’t help it” he mumbled, making your cheeks turn pink. you pushed your palm on his chest, making him smile and lean into you more.
skinship 25/8. one thing about sion is that he was clingy, not in an overbearing way but in a way that made you want to cling to him even more than he did you. if sion is with you, some part of him needs to be holding you to ground him. whether that be your hand or your waist, somehow his touch is always clouding your senses. he always wants to be with you, holding or hugging you. he wants to be right by your side all the time, attached by the hip.
little things. sion was very attentive so randomly when he would notice a shift in your mood, good or bad, he would do something for you. he was doing things for you all the time it seemed but there were little things that added up to bigger things for you. for instance, he could notice your mood is off the entire week and because of that he’ll surprise you with a sweet treat after work or a random dinner date. he knows how much these small things mean to you so whenever he has the chance he’ll do them, even if he doesn’t have the time.
‘open the door’ a text from sion popped up on your phone as you furrowed your brows, walking over to your apartment front door. you opened it, revealing your boyfriend standing there with a bouquet of flowers. he smiled, extending the bouquet out for you to hold. you accepted it, the smell of tulips taking over your senses. “what is this for?” you said, looking up to sion, shocked. he shrugged, “you seemed down this week so i thought the flowers could brighten your mood” he smiled, scratching his neck once more. there his ears turned red once more. you looked at the tulips then him, smiling. “thank you baby” you mumbled, making him smile more. “anything for you” he mumbled back, ears still red as ever.
arguments are almost non existent. like every healthy couple, you and sion disagreed. it wasn’t often but when it did happen the arguments never went anywhere. sion had his fair share of being immature but when it came to you, he was the most level headed person ever. naturally the two of you disagree but when you did he would just talk it out with you and eventually whoever was in the wrong just apologizes to the other. he could never bring himself to be actually mad at you or raise his voice, he thinks it’s wrong to talk to you like that so he never will.
a certain tone reserved for you. sions voice was sweet with everyone, he was a friendly warm person. yet when he spoke to you, that voice was even sweeter than you could ever imagine. he smiles at every word you say and even while he speaks he’s smiling all the time around you, maybe that’s why his voice changes. at first when you started seeing each other you never noticed this tone change but when you started hanging out with him in group settings the sweet voice was much clearer. it made you feel special and loved that something about him was all for you.
“i told you, the toast was terrible!” sion said, laughing loudly with his friends. you watched them engage in conversation about anything under the sun. you joined sion often at little dinners or lunches with him and his friends, they were all sweet to you so at some point you became more comfortable hanging out with them. you smiled as sion laughed very loudly at yet another one of rikus jokes. his laugh was always contagious to everyone around him because sakuya and ryo broke out in laughter as well.
he turned to you, smiling softly. “you having fun baby?” he said, his voice sweet and gentle. a little different than the voice he was speaking in before. you nodded, smiling. sion smiled a little more and kissed your cheek, earning a ‘ewwwww’ from his friends. his ears turned pink as he reached his hand over to yours, intertwining your fingers with one another and placing your hand in his lap, continuing the conversation as he left it off.
holding you when you cry. you weren’t the most emotional person but sometimes life got the best of you and you needed a good cry. in those moments sion holds you tight, like you’re going to fly away. he hates seeing you upset but he also knows that crying is healthy for people and it should happen, which is why he doesn’t stop you. he lets you cry and make his shirt wet with your tears but he doesn’t care, as long as you feel better afterwards. he’ll pick your head up and wipe your tears, whispering soft praises in your ear. his voice grounding you as you sniffle to wipe your own tears away.
“shh i got you, you’re okay” sion mumbled, pulling you into his chest. you didn’t know what had gotten into you, you had been so overly emotional all week long and finally you were bursting into tears over such a small thing. he stroked your hair, kissing the top of your head as you pulled back so he could wipe your tears. your eyes were glossy as you mumbled an apology and sion frowned softly. “don’t apologize my angel, i’m here for you always.” he said, his voice bringing you back as you smiled softly and sniffled. he smiled and wiped the tears away from your cheek, kissing your forehead.
constant praises. it would be random, when you least expect it really. but it would be about anything, from a congrats for getting through the day to a long message of him telling you how proud of you he is. sion always acknowledged every aspect of you and praised you as such, however it wasn’t to the point where it felt meaningless. each word sion said to you never felt empty, but rather full of love. “i’m so proud of you, my love” he would say, after a long day of work. kissing your knuckles as you two sat at the dining table, eating dinner. everything sion said to you always came from the heart, making it even more special.
soft kisses. sions kisses were as sweet as the words he spoke to you. he loved to kiss you wherever you would let him and it always felt so soft and sweet on your body. when he would kiss you, you swore you could feel yourself melting into his touch. it was weird what an effect he had on you. as he kisses your lips, one hand rests on your hip, rubbing small circles with his thumb while the other is holding your neck, angling your head to deepen the kiss as you wish. a warm feeling spreads across as he kisses you, his smile growing more and more by the second until his cheeks begin to hurt. he would only pull back just for a quick breath and go back to it, getting lost in your taste as well as your lips.
doing nothing together. although sion couldn’t sit still for the life of him, there were times were you just did nothing with one another. it could be a facetime call or when he comes over to hang out with you at some point the two of you just sit in silence, doing your own respective things. it wasn’t like you didn’t want to talk to him, it was the fact that you two found comfort in just sitting there, either in each other's arms or being right next to each other.
a soft sigh escaped your lips as you leaned back on the couch, scooting a little closer to sion. he was scrolling on his phone while you were working on something for work. he noticed out the corner of his eye that you moved closer to him so he did as well, his hand finding its way to your thigh, resting it there. you smiled softly and glanced at him, “i’m almost done” you mumbled and sion only smiled. “it’s okay, take your time baby” he smiled, leaning over to kiss the top of your head. and you wonder how you lucked out with a boyfriend like him.
always texting you. as said before sion was a clingy boyfriend, he always wanted to be with you and that meant when he wasn’t with you he was always texting you. you couldn’t complain either because you were equally obsessed with him as he was with you. he texts you about anything he possibly can, mostly because he just wants to talk to you even if it’s dumb.

For me he's only a rival or something else for my heart?

University series: Jake Heeseung Jay
*pairing: Popular pervy student Jungwon x Good girl
*trope: Rivals to lovers
*synopsis: What if the best student in the course was put to work with one of the most popular students? A catastrophe for Y/n, she and Jungwon are so different in everything: Jungwon is one of the most popular kids at the university, he’s so cheeky and takes life too lightly, and for Y/n is the distraction representation. The good girl only thinks about finishing her studies in places from her parents and is a little hesitant about Jungwon’s personality, but what would happen when their two worlds meet and for 4 months they will have to study and spend many hours to create a university project?
*tags: A lot of humor, Jungwon proposes: that he wants to make her relax after each study session (sexual distraction), unprotected sex (don't horny ppl), tension, oral sex (f.m receiving) fingering, corruption, hickeys, fluff, orgasm, possessive Jungwon, pet names (nerd, good girl, honey, sweetnees, princess) +16

The study room was bright and almost aseptic, perfect for working and studying in peace. But after only 10 minutes, you were already at the end of your patience.
Jungwon was late of course!
You were a model, disciplined student, always in the front row, with impeccable notebooks and a natural distrust of people too charismatic like Jungwon, who made trouble from morning to night. When you saw it, you thought it was "too perfect" not to hide some defect and didn't understand how it always had its head in the clouds, but being like you, one of the best students in the course.
Jungwon was the perfect boy, both academically and socially. He was part of the Taekwondo team, the girls loved him, he had a huge fan base, and the professors appreciated him. He didn’t try too hard to get good results, but he was always one step ahead and had that feline look: smart, quick, and mysterious.
During a management seminar for the Hoteleri, the professor announced that you two would be partners in a project that was worth 50% of the final grade. You would have to work together for four months and submit a paper that not only met the academic criteria but was innovative and creative and at the end of the course it would be put in your student and work CV to take more credits at the end of the degree.
You looked at the clock and mumbled loudly: "10 minutes late who knows what excuse will come up this time. It’s typical of Jungwon to arrive late but get away with it only because of that pretty face, when you’re so perfect you probably think the time of others doesn’t matter." you thought.
The door opened, and Jungwon made his entrance with the nonchalance of being at home everywhere. Casual jacket over a flawless white shirt, hair that looked just like it had been taken care of by the wind, cat eyes that looked at you from head to toe, and his usual cheeky smile. He carried two cappuccinos and a croissant.
With a satisfied smile, ignoring your murderous look, he put a glass in front of you from the bar of the university, and after a while, he stretched out like a cat and saw his shirt stand up and your cheeks were slightly colored when you saw his perfect V line and his perfect muscles in beautiful shows for long hours spent training. «Sorry, the barista was slow. Do you want a piece of croissant? It’s buttery to the point! I got you a cappuccino not knowing what you like, i also added sugar to make it sweeter»
You stared at him like he was an alien.
"Sure, because breakfast is more important than the project that is worth half of our final grade to be late for our first study appointment and i don’t like things too sweet for anything."
Jungwon looked at you with a slight grin « A man must feed himself and my favorite meal is breakfast in all senses both sweet and savory. If you may be interested, my plan for the project is already all here in my head, i had to deduce myself that you were a lover of things bitter or sour as your personality but for once you can make an effort and drink this sweet cappuccino just right to sweeten you»
You leaned forward, crossing your arms on the table and gazing at him with a murderous look.
"Oh? So you think your genius boy brain is gonna win us all without having to do anything? And stop saying i’m sour, you’ve arrived late with your usual smile of serial charmer"
«I don’t like to brag, but... yes. In my beautiful head i have a lot of ideas that could work, just relax a little you are always so tense and serious in everything you do, honey»
You bit your tongue to not answer immediately. But in the end, you clattered.
"You know what I don’t understand about you, Jungwon? How do you get such high grades when you don’t seem to take anything seriously and don't call me sweetie, I’m not a fan of yours or one of those girls who would pull their hair out to get your attention"
Jungwon leaning against the chair’s back, with a sneering smile
«It’s a natural talent. And then, maybe the professor appreciates my relaxed style. You should try to relax sometimes there are so many things you could try!»
Closed your laptop with a strong blow and Jungwon looked at you with a small smile
"God, you are impossible how do you get so full of yourself? Here’s the plan: we’ll work together, but I’ll make the planning. You follow the instructions, no improvising, no distractions, and no provocations"
Jungwon stood at the table and looked at you with a diabolical smile «Distractions? You are the one who seems distracted, I saw how you looked at my muscles before or how you’re blushing now while I’m near you with my face»
You blushed imperceptibly, but you quickly recovered and left the study room angry; why of all people had to put you in a pair with him? Jungwon watches you leave, with a satisfied smile. He knows that he has the potential to test your perfection and enjoys this new challenge with you.
The men’s dorm was noisier than you had anticipated. Although it was only five o'clock in the afternoon, laughter could be heard from a room next door, the distant sound of a video game, and someone singing in the shower. It was chaotic, suffocating, and exactly the kind of place you didn’t want to be. Jungwon greeted you at the door with his usual cheeky smile, dressed in a relaxed way: a grey sweatshirt and suit pants that made him look even more casually perfect and with his usual cat eyes that never detached from your body.
"I can’t believe i wasted precious time to come here. We could just work in the library."
Jungwon closed the door behind you leaning against it
«The library is boring. And then, i wanted to show you that i’m good at working even in the middle of chaos you know as a normal person.»
You looked around, noticing the perfectly made bed, the books stacked neatly on the desk, and a pair of headphones hanging from the edge of the computer monitor, There were some records from current and former artists and there was a smell of clean and vanilla that invaded the whole room and was much more neat than you expected.
"For a male dormitory, it’s surprisingly... clean and fragrant."
Jungwon raised a funny eyebrow «What did you think? That I was a mess and lived in dirt? I let you down again, huh?»
You looked up and sat down in the chair by the desk, trying to ignore the way he moved around the room with a cat-like naturalness, as if he was always in complete control of the situation.
After an hour of discussing, it was clear that working there wasn’t going as planned you kept talking, explaining details and strategies but Jungwon seemed more interested in watching you than taking notes.
You were really exasperated and snapped your fingers near his face "Jungwon, are you listening or waiting for me to do all the work for you?"
Jungwon chuckled sitting on the bed with a bent knee
«I listen to you. You’re charming when you get angry, you know?»
You stared at him, but he got up from his bed and leaned over the desk with one hand on the table. He was too close and you felt it immediately: his scent, his piercing look, the way he seemed to enjoy making you uncomfortable.
You backed slightly back into the chair "Don’t try to distract me we have a lot to do."
He looked at you with a cheeky smile «Distract? I would never do that but you know, i think, i have found a solution to our problem»
You looked at him suspiciously, crossing your arms.
"And what is this brilliant idea of yours?"
Jungwon lowered the tone of his voice, with a more sweet and provocative nuance «You put aside your obsession to be the best... Just for these sessions. And i make sure you relax. Physically and mentally»
You immediately blush with your mouth open for surprise.
"What.. what do you mean 'physically'?"
Jungwon giggled, raising a finger to touch your chin slightly «Nothing too compromising, but if you want we could raise the bar just a little is a way to let you off a bit and to make you understand that there are much more beautiful things besides the study. Like a kiss or two, maybe a hug, i could make you feel good with my fingers, you might shoulder or hair massage, but we could make each other feel good to each other. It depends on how tense you are that day, sweetness»
You opened your eyes wide, torn between indignation and...something different something you didn’t want to admit. You stood up, trying to keep calm.
"That’s the craziest thing Ive ever heard. I don’t need... you to relax. I don’t even like you and I just think you’re a pervert and that’s it."
Jungwon smiled, coming close enough to make you feel the warmth of his body «Are you sure? Because you already seem less nervous now.»
Your heart was beating faster, but you refused to let it control you.
"You are unbearable."
Jungwon laughed slowly, tilting his head like a satisfied cat
«Yet you are still here»
He reached out his hand, gently brushing a lock of hair that had fallen on your face you held your breath, your face red, but you did not move «Hey, I’m kidding... partly. I know you are wonderfully good at what you do but maybe that’s the problem you’re too focused on showing it to everyone when you don’t have to do it with me, you can be yourself»
You looked at him with surprise at the sincerity in his voice.
"It’s not so simple for me, we can come back for another hour to study the project and then if i feel comfortable we may not know how to do" Jungwon with a sweet smile, moved slightly back.
«I know. For this i want to help you, we go back to study a little bit nerd but then i want to make you relax a little and put you at ease sweet»
It was almost an hour and a half ago when you had started to throw ideas down again and he had been surprisingly helpful, but after a while, his attention began to fade. Without saying anything, he got up and went to his computer, turning it on with a grin.
You looked up from the confused book "Jungwon, what are you doing?" Jungwon with a cool touch and a mouse movement opened a video game «I’m taking a break. You know, the brain needs to relax every now and then»
"Pause? We’re trying to get a major project going, and you think about video games?"
Jungwon turned to the chair, with an innocent expression: «Hey, what did we say before? I want you to relax. Also, I see you tense as a violin string and it’s been almost 3 hours that we are throwing down our ideas, now enough and come here» You looked at him suspiciously "Why should i come there? There’s only one chair"
Jungwon waving and turning the chair slightly made room for you «Come here and sit on my legs»
Your heart began to beat faster. You were furious, but you didn’t want to give him the satisfaction of showing himself intimidated and with a deep breath, you stood up and walked towards him, trying to keep an impassive expression.
You crossed your arms, standing in front of him "If you think this is a way to relax me, you’re wrong, Jungwon"
Jungwon raised an eyebrow, tilting his head with his usual cat smile« I’m sure i’ll help to relax a bit. Trust me, sweetness»
Slowly youy sat over his legs trying to keep a distance, but Jungwon gently pulled you closer by leaning your back against his chest.
"What now? You gonna play while i stay here as a decoration?" Jungwon laughed quietly, lowering his head near your ear
«Not really» Then, with a naturalness that left you breathless, Jungwon touched your neck with a light kiss, and with his fingers moved slightly a handful of hair on your shoulder should not have intended to kiss you and as a feline sniffed your neck and laid gentle kisses and his big braver smitten you to him.
You whispered slightly, trying to get away not so much because you were annoyed by his kisses or rather they were pleasant but because they made you feel a lot of chills and slight tickling. " Jungwon, what are you doing?"
Jungwon with a mischievous smile continued to give you little kisses on the neck « I’m just relaxing...and trying to relax you. Try to close your eyes and trust me for once, sweetness»
Closed your eyes as he told you and with a voice that trembled slightly, but tried to keep control you said "This is not... professional."
Jungwon started laughing slowly, this time sliding his hands over your hips without squeezing too much «Oh, let’s face it, you’re enjoying it. Don’t look so tense now.» Blush, trying not to give in but unable to hide a small smile. " You’re amazing, you always do what you want, right?" Jungwon finished the session of those little kisses he leaned his chin on your shoulder, with a satisfied smile « Only with you sweetie. But you know what? When you relax a little, you’re even more adorable.»
You looked up but did not move from his legs to get away from him. As much as you hated to admit it, Jungwon knew exactly how to surprise you and at the same time make you feel safe. That night, his plan to distract you worked perfectly.
It was late afternoon and Jungwon arrived on time at the girl’s bedroom door, which in itself was an extraordinary event, and knocked twice, waiting with his usual smile.
When the door opened, he was surprised. The room was a perfect reflection of something you would never expect from yourself: walls decorated with vintage posters of fashion icons, shelves full of glossy magazines, an electronic keyboard near the window and a sewing mannequin in a corner covered with unfinished fabric, and on display were the course books.
«Wow, and I thought all you wanted to do was be the best in class. What is this? Your secret side as an artist? When you told me that you wanted to study in your room I thought "Cabbage will kill me"»
You blush slightly as you close the door behind him. "You might still risk Jungwon. It’s not a secret, I just don’t talk about it. It’s not important for the class, so..."
Jungwon approached the dummy and observed it with curiosity
«Isn’t it important? You make it seem like nothing is important but studying. But this is amazing I bet you’re good at that too, huh?»
You shrugged, trying to hide the embarrassment "I’m not as good as you think. It’s just a hobby, can we start transcribing the various areas where we would like to develop our hotels?"
Jungwon chuckled as she sat down on the chair by the bed and you leaned in your bed
«Always so serious. All right, boss tell me what to do!»
For a couple of hours, something unusual happened: you really studied, obviously Jungwon loved to throw you jokes about how methodical you were with all your notes and you would tease him because he was very messy with his ideas but he loved that mess and understood. You worked on the project with a surprising understanding, almost forgetting the tension that usually accompanied you. But Jungwon looked at you with his languid gaze, a mix of curiosity and mischief.
When you finished studying without wanting to, you stretched and the sweater just lifted up, revealing a hint of light skin over the jeans. Jungwon tilted his head as a cat would be fascinated by something he could not ignore.
«You must relax a little,» he said in a low voice, almost a whisper.
You are slightly distracted, looking at him with suspicion. "I’m fine."
«You don’t look well. You seem stressed and if you relax you concentrate better. Want an example?» You saw Jungwon get up from the chair and lean on the edge of your bed where you were sitting with crossed legs
You looked at him confused and with a slight redness on the cheeks. "Jungwon"
He didn’t answer. He just put a hand to your face, moving a lock of hair behind his ear. His eyes never left yours and that simple touch made you shudder.
«Don’t run away» whispered, his voice a hypnotic call.
Before you could protest, Jungwon touched your lips with his, so gently that it almost seemed like a dream. But he didn’t stop there, his hand moved on your neck holding you with surprisingly gentle firmness, while the kiss instead deepened becoming slower, more intense, and in the room there were only the sounds of your mouths touching and the rain that was beating hard against the windows.
You found yourself answering him without thinking your hands clung to his sweater, Subconsciously pulling him closer and you felt a slight groan from your mouth as he put his tongue into your mouth and you strapped your arms around his neck to keep it closer to you. Jungwon smiled when he heard that little moan and would hear it for the rest of his life.
When you separated, you both had heavy breaths and he smiled at you with his usual cheeky smile, that typical satisfied cat expression.
«See? It’s not so bad to relax every now and then! You want us to continue kissing or we could do something else, always with your consent and with your sweet times» Watched Jungwon take off his sweatshirt and stay with a black t-shirt that made his muscles and biceps stand out
You hit him lightly on the chest, but he couldn’t hold back a small smile. "What would you like to do?"
Jungwon looked at you with a curious look, god how could you ask them such a question? He would do a lot of dirty things with your body but you were so innocent in his eyes that he would treat you like a princess but at the same time he would want to ruin you completely.
«Take off my shirt and try to find out what makes me horny» You watched Jungwon lean on your keyboard and you with slightly cold hands but not trembling took off his black shirt that made his muscles visible and when you took it off a thin but sculpted chest was in front of your eyes and without doing so you lick slightly the lips that still knew from your strawberry lip balm and Jungwon.
«Do you like what you see, sweetie?» He asked knowing that even if you were shy and innocent you could not say that what you had in front of you did not like, you reached out to trace his toned muscles, His abs seemed to form toned valleys until you reached her V line and felt Jungwon tremble slightly both for your light touch but also because your hands were slightly cold and looked at you this time with a serious look.
"Can I. Can I touch you, Jungwon?" Jungwon laughed a little when you asked him but he immediately nodded yes and raised his hips slightly because he thought that you only took off his pants all the way with your fingers, you also slid the boxer shorts and saw his venous length already sticking out standing up fairly, Jungwon hissed when you touch it there, the sensation overwhelming him like electricity as your soft hands contrast with the venous muscle.
«God Y/n, it didn’t have to go so i had to be the one that made you relax not you» You started with a good cat lick on his dick and with his hand flying to hold your hair for you, wrapping it around her wrist like a ponytail. He wanted to be careful and kind, and not scare you but when he heard and saw that you started putting almost everything in his mouth a slight moan came out of his lips, and looked at you with the head saying yes to continue. Your mind is overwhelmed by the way his tip presses down the bottom of your throat and how your pussy felt excited and you felt that your panties became wetter and wetter as Jungwon slowly pushed his cock into your mouth, his big hand never stopped caressing your hair.
«Y/n» his breath stops, he was delighted to see you so busy making him feel good and it was a feeling of well-being but also of perversion for him because even the good girl who did not want distractions stooped to make him feel good by giving them a blow job, the urge to push you even further down on his cock blossoms in his mind but he puts it aside as he looks at his dear, sweet rival bent in bed sucking his dick.
«Honey, you can stop now seriously you have already done too much for me» feeling bad for yourself.
You can shake your head and insist that you could take much more and make him relax. You relax your throat a little, breathing through your nose as you push it deeper; Jungwon groans at the action, and his hips are wailing and pushing awkwardly. Do your best to satisfy him, until he leaves a whiny mess as he reaches his orgasm moaning softly your name, lost in its world of pleasure while you struggle to not choke and spit the liquid that goes down your throat until you swallow it all in your mouth. You raised your head to see him completely red, with the hair unkempt, and pulled you to yourself putting you embraced beside him with his big arms.
"You liked..." Didn’t even finish the sentence and gave you a light kiss on the lips, then on his forehead, and looked at you with a sweet smile until you heard a loud thunder coming from outside the light went away for a few seconds and there were only your breaths that could be felt.
«I liked it and also very much Y/n, who would have said that you were so entrapping and seems that the time has decided to do me another favor, sweetness» commented with his usual relaxed tone, but with a glimmer of malice in his eyes.
"What favor?" You asked without turning away from the window.
«Force me to stay here for the night» he replied shrugging his shoulders and you shoot yourself. "What? Don’t even think about... staying here! You can go home."
Jungwon raised a funny eyebrow as he hugged you even more to himself. «With this storm? Look at the weather Y/n, do you really want me to catch a cold and then you have to double the work for the project? I could get a lot of bad things with time like the kind that makes me drive by some distracted motorist»
You looked up because these were only excuses that he invented to be with you and invade your living space.
"Okay, but don’t you dare do anything weird," Jungwon nodded with an innocent smile and watched you go to the bathroom to change.
You were quiet in your bed, flowing through the various social media until Jungwon came out of the bathroom with his black shirt and his tracksuit pants on and lay down next to you as if it was the most natural thing in the world «It’s funny, you try to be a good girl and be my rival n*1 but you are playing with fire by inviting me here. Are you sure you know what you’re doing?»
You just turned with your faces only a few inches apart. "Maybe I’m not as predictable as you think."
The answer made him smile, but this time the smile was different: deeper, he put a hand gently on your waist, bringing you even closer to his toned chest. «And anyway... you’re still too tense. Let me hug you, at least for one night»
The following week during one of the working sessions, a senior boy came to supervise the progress of the project. He was tall and confident with a charismatic smile, the classic type who did not go unnoticed and Jungwon looked up when he saw Minjae enter your study room.
<< Oh, you two are the ones from the hotel management project I heard a lot of good things about your duo especially about you Y/n>> said Minjae looking at the documents scattered on the desk. You smiled at him and looked at you from the head to the foot and you looked at him softly so as not to appear timid and awkward.
"Yes, we are working on the marketing and area management plan for hotels in different parts of the world. It’s a bit challenging, but we’re getting there and working day by day."
<< Well, if you need help, you can count on me>> said Minjae winking at you, and when he stepped out to see what you were typing on the computer, he put a hand on your shoulder with a gesture that seemed random but didn’t go unnoticed by Jungwon.
He was sitting in front of you and at that moment stopped writing. His eyes slowly rose towards Minjae, a look that was not very friendly.
«I think we do very well even alone, we are the best of the course and they put us together in pairs to surprise everyone with our ideas a little bit conflicting but it will come out really a nice job,» said Jungwon with the tone of cold but controlled.
Minjae chuckled. << No need to be so protective and territorial. I’m just trying to lend a hand>>
«Yes, but we didn’t ask for your help even if you are our supervisor I repeat we’re doing a good job» replied Jungwon, crossing his arms.
You stepped in quickly, trying to calm the tension. "All right, guys. Minjae, thanks for the offer. If we need you, we’ll let you know but right now as Jungwon says we’re really at a good point of work."
Minjae smiled at you, ignoring Jungwon. << Sure. But if you have any problems or issues to talk about...>> paused, lowering the tone of voice, << you can contact me also after hours. >>
Jungwon stood up slowly, putting his hands on the table. «Minjae, I don’t think your advice is so necessary.» Jungwon made a sign of his head to Minjae to leave and raised his hands as a sign of surrender
<< Relax, Jungwon," said Minjae with a smile. <<You don’t have to be like that... I repeat "territorial">>
Minjae left after a while and you watched Jungwon touch his hair and roll his eyes. "What the hell was that? Why were you so hostile to him?" Jungwon laughed for a moment and looked at you with a slightly angry look
«Don’t pretend to be dumb Y/n» he replied, approaching your body and sitting in the chair next to yours «That loser was clearly hitting on you.»
You shook your head a little amused. "So? He was just nice, there’s no need to make a scene like the one you made earlier."
«Kind of you?» he repeated, laughing bitterly and touching your cheek slightly to gently put a lock of hair in your ear
«Honey, there’s nothing kind about the way he looked at you. And if you think I’m going to stand here watching someone else hover around you, you’re wrong.»
You crossed your arms, trying to keep control of the situation. "You’re not my boyfriend, Jungwon. You can’t decide who talks to me or what I do with other guys when all this is over I can do whatever I want."
Your words struck him, but instead of getting angry, his smile changed. It was more dangerous now as if something inside him had snapped.
«Oh, really?» he asked, approaching to reduce the space between you a few centimeters. «So I can afford to show you that you don’t need anyone else, right?» Before you could answer, Jungwon took the chair you were sitting in and pulled it toward himself with a determined movement. His hands were attached to your thighs, firm but not aggressive, and the way he looked at you was intense and overwhelming.
"Jungwon..." you started talking but he interrupted you by putting his finger in front of your lips
«Tell me you don’t want this» whispered, the tone of his voice deep and hypnotic as he approached your neck «Tell me that you don’t like it when I am like this with you»
You could not answer and at that moment he lowered his head, his lips finding your neck with disarming security. The kiss was not gentle, it was bold, possessive, and made you shudder.
«You mustn’t play with me, honey» he continued, his hands now moving along your back tracing slow lines that made you tremble. «Because I will never play clean with you.»
He continued to kiss your thin neck but this time with more fervor and slightly sucked a part of your sensitive neck and moaned his name and drew him closer to you and felt his hand make little circles in your thigh, It was totally dangerous what you were doing because you were in public and when you realized this thing you pushed him slightly but only to look into his eyes, short breath and red cheeks. "You’re impossible, Jungwon" you mumbled
«Yes» he replied, smiling before kissing you on your lips this time with a passion that left you breathless, it was as if he wanted to show you at that moment that there was no one else who could make you feel like that.
When you sat down, you looked at him with eyes still full of wonder. You weren’t sure how you got into that situation, but one thing was certain: you liked the way it made you feel.
It had been a few weeks since Jungwon’s alleged jealousy towards Minjae and now that jealousy was coming back when he saw Minjae supervising your project but the problem was that he wasn’t looking after Jungwon as if it didn’t exist but only Y/n.
<< Really impressive work you’ve done so far>> said Minjae, leaning towards you. << I understand why everyone says you are one of the brightest students in the class. With a talent like yours, you could get anywhere in the hotel world and I would see you as a luxury property manager. And... maybe if you need some guidance, we could work together after this project or I could mentor you for your final thesis. >>
You blush slightly but try to keep control and be professional because you don’t like the flattery that Minjae is giving you. "Thank you, I’ll think about it but now I think our teamwork with Jungwon is going very well and I think it will bring us both good grades and nice references from the professors" Jungwon was slightly surprised to hear good things about him from you, Your n*1 rival was the one to tell it all.
<< Oh, sure your work is going great, you need some tricks but surely tomorrow with your presentation you will make a beautiful figure>> said Minjae, casting a fleeting glance at Jungwon, who was observing the scene in silence. << But you know, with someone more experienced, you could get much more. I could teach you techniques that go far beyond what you’re learning now>>
His words had a subtone that left no room for misunderstanding. Minjae came closer, almost invading your personal space, and he put a light hand on your arm. << If you want, we could discuss your ideas better... maybe over a coffee, just you and me. >> You looked at Jungwon with a straight jaw and slightly red cheeks
"Ehm, thank you so much seriously but now I’m only focused on the project with Jungwon, and" Jungwon moved before you kept answering. He rose from his seat, grasping Minjae’s wrist with a firm but controlled grip.
«I think you’ve said enough, she’s trying to tell you in a polite way that she doesn’t care about you and even your provocations of spending time with her don’t interest her,» Jungwon said, the low tone and tension-laden.
Minjae stared at him, trying to maintain an air of superiority. << I’m just trying to be helpful. No need to overdo it and I repeat as the last time to be so territorial with Y/n>
Jungwon took a step forward, forcing Minjae to take a step back. «Your help is not needed. And I don’t think she’s appreciating the way you’re behaving with her»
Looking at Jungwon with a little smile "Jungwon, it’s all right. We can"
«No» he interrupted her, without taking his eyes off Minjae. «Everything is not all right»
After Minjae left, Jungwon was still furious. The tension in his body was palpable and you didn’t know how to handle it.
“You shouldn’t have behaved like that, I can defend myself you know how many girls have to endure these things every day?” said trying to keep calm and make him reason
Your words seemed to break something inside him. Jungwon came quickly, his eyes dark with dangerous determination.
«Sit down at the desk,Y/n» he said in a low voice.
"Jungwon, I" He gave you a provocative look and you sat down at the desk marrying some books. His eyes were nailed in yours, and you felt your heart beating hard. «You are mine. You know that, don’t you? And now I will make you say I don’t know how many times my name so you’ll remember and I’ll make you come between my dicks and lick your sweet pussy so you’ll understand who belongs to»
You don’t know exactly how it happened, but the next thing you know his fingers finally land on your covered clitoris. Rub some delicate circles, fast and precise, sending shocks of pleasure through your body. «Shit, you’re so wet to me and you still have your panties attached, let’s see if there are already some little strands of your excitement sweetness» The tip of his finger grasps the hem of your not-so-clean panties and Jungwon seriously wanted to know why you were wearing slutty panties if you were being a good girl and you are complaining in your throat about the slight cold that you felt because of the desk below you.
With your legs lightly thrown on Jungwon’s shoulders, his head buried between your thighs, his tongue immediately got to work kissing your pussy everywhere. His tongue moves around your core so fucking well, alternating sucking and clicking on your clitoris to pushing and licking inside your pussy, your unacceptably sinful and delicious sounds were a joy to the ears of your rival n*1.
"Jungwon, pls is so beautiful but at the same time sick we are in public" You tried to hold yourself with your elbows on the desk, and with the other hand, you pulled slightly the tuft of Jungwon that was slightly tickling your body. «You are lucky that there is no one left at this time otherwise what people would think of hearing your moans and irregular breathing. Speak Y/n, otherwise, I stop what would they think?» was literally squeezing and torturing you with his tongue constricted in your pussy and a finger stuck into your clit to massage it.
"They would have thought that maybe I’m not such a good girl" A light laugh came out of Jungwon’s lips and said «Good girl» closes his eyes and enjoys your delicious juice flowing in her mouth, Groaning in your pussy as it is fucking nice to have you so vulnerable and cheeky while you are waving for the various sensations that you feel but it was not yet finished because after a few seconds two fingers entered inside of you, already starting with an unforgivable rhythm, By curling them and finding that spot in you easily.
When you came between his fingers it detached from you both had breathless breath. Jungwon took your face in his hands, stroking your cheeks with his thumbs.
«I will never leave you to someone like him,» he said, his voice soft but still. You smile slightly with your heart beating wildly. "I didn’t think you were so jealous."
«With you?» he replied, his tone that only softened slightly. «I will always be. We go to my dorm to finish fixing the last few tricks that tomorrow our presentation must be perfect, sweetness»
The rain kept on beating against the window panes, creating an almost hypnotic background. After the scene with Minjae, the tension between you was palpable. It was 10 o'clock past and you had reviewed the project at least 3 times and Jungwon didn’t leave you alone for a moment, as if he wanted to reiterate that you belonged to him, and no one else.
When you had finished the project you wanted to keep a minimum distance, but Jungwon had other plans.
«Why are you avoiding my gaze?» he asked, sitting on the edge of the bed and looking at you with that feline and piercing look.
"I’m not avoiding anything" lying by arranging the project documents with shaky hands and red cheeks
«You’re not very good at lying, princess» he replied in a low voice. «You’re wondering what’s going to happen now, aren’t you?»
You stopped by biting your lip. "Jungwon, we can’t..." You began but you hushed when he stood up, approaching you with slow but determined steps.
«We can’t what?» he asked, tilting his head slightly as a curious cat would. «Can’t we be together? Can’t we do what we both have wanted to do for weeks?»
His voice was a whisper now, and the way he looked at you made you feel trapped, but you didn’t want to run. When he took your face in his hands, his thumbs gently caressed his cheeks, your heart seemed to want to go out of your chest.
«I don’t want to share you,» he said in a strong tone. «Not with Minjae, not with anyone else. You’re mine, understand? And now I’ll make you understand even more»
You didn’t answer, but when he kissed you, it was impossible for you to back out. There was too much passion, too much intensity, and you knew that at that moment you were completely giving up.
Jungwon’s hands reached your legs pulling them towards him, before reaching with his arms behind your chest and lifting you like a Koala, and a part of your mind flashed thinking how strong it was, how easily it could lift you up, and how easily it could make you feel good. He dragged you to his bed, laying down where there were his pillows and your eyes waved towards him his look was feline, and looked at you as if you were only his and no one else’s, «I can show you that you are mine, and i’m yours, Y/n?» He leaned down on your neck and before moving his head towards your ear began to kiss you and suck the area that he knew was sensitive, his breath tickled your skin as he continued «Use words, princess» A shiver ran down your back, a trembling breath left your lips as your body finally forced the words out, "Yes. please".
Jungwon smiled when he heard those words coming out of your mouth his lips were so soft They moved slowly against yours as she tilted your head slightly to better access your sweet mouth that she knew from lip balm to strawberry and the contrast of her mouth that still tasted like the chocolate cookie she had eaten before. A slight whimper slipped over your lips, your hands rose to wrap around his shoulders and immediately went to lightly tighten his hair when you felt him wringing around your suit pants with his cock around your center; His hand that was on your jaw moved along your body, His fingers played with the hem of your shirt before he pushed his hand down slowly and took it off you and left only with your bra and even that in a few seconds left your body and began to torture you the bud of your nipple with his mouth and with his teeth and with the other hand she lightly squeezed your other breast.
«God, this body is perfectly made for me» You had Jungwon take off his shirt as well, you didn’t know where to put your hands, they were going from his shoulder, to his hair, to his biceps, a gasp left Jungwon’s lips to the feeling of your cold hands on his warm stomach. Jolts, whimpers, and little moans came out of your lips as he kept giving you pleasure in both breasts, he only moved away slightly but his hand kept on squeezing and stroking the other breast while mumbling, «You’re so beautiful fuck.»
"more," you whined, any appropriate response was now far from your mind because you felt so good with Jungwon, he leaned back and left a kiss trail along your breast, in your belly as his hands roamed before finally resting on the edge of your suit, «Lift up your hips for me for a moment, princess»
You slightly push your hips giving him a way to slowly lower your suit and panties. «You’re even soaker than before t/n, fuck.» You were seriously embarrassed and slightly covered your face with your hands but when he looked at you gave you a little kiss on the forehead «Don’t hide from me, I have already come a few hours ago and with me you can be safe and show yourself for what you are Y/n, relax.» one of his fingers slipped between your folds, a sudden jolt left you, he put two other fingers inside you, starting to pump them, curling them and easily finding that point in you that made you crazy.
You shouted Jungwon’s name and thought that this time you were seriously ready to take his cock, he made you come and tease yourself a little more clipboard and you raised your hips as sensitive as you were, Splashes of slimy cum went around Jungwon’s fingers and when he pulled out from your pussy he showed you that he brought it to his tongue and sucked it slightly and you at that moment could die because it was a scene so dirty but sexy as you had never seen it in your life. He pulled down his boxers in one fell swoop and you saw his hard cock slapping his stomach, the tip was red and slightly dripping, your mouth made an O, You had already taken it in the mouth but fuck that member would ruin you instantly when it was inside of you. He stroked his hand a couple of times and pumped it lightly and with his usual arrogant and cheeky smile on his lips looked at you noticing your reaction. " Are you sure I can fit it all?" Jungwon laughed at your words «Are you ready or do you want to pull yourself up now, sweetie?» You nodded at his words pushed your hips forward and slowly slid, wrapping yourself in your tight warmth.
«Fuck, you’re so tight» When he pulled out but pushed back in faster and you couldn’t think clearly, your mind was confused and completely focused on how well you were feeling at that moment, About how Jungwon was kind to you but at the same time, he was hammering you.
"Jungwon is so beautiful" moan as your hands move on his biceps then go on his back and scratch him slightly things if you were his kitty. «I imagined this moment for months Y/n masturbated and thought of you, when I touched myself I thought of you, fuck you are a fucking witch»
In the room you could hear only the sound of rain and your skin rubbing skin against the skin «I’ll make you come on my dick. I’ll make you forget Minjae, any other guy who tries to get with you», sighed when you felt how it pumped fast inside of you and was completely destroying you; "Jungwon, pls" his hand came down to press on your stomach, your eyes that swirled backward for the pressure « Fuck, I’ll thank that prof for putting me in pair with you, look how well you’re taking my dick, princess» He stopped for a few seconds inside you when he saw that you were closing your eyes.
"no-no-no-no pls, don’t stop".
«Don’t you dare to close your eyes Y/n, you have to see how well your pussy takes my cock, you have to remember who is fucking you and not as a good girl but as a slut» His words got you even more excited and he grabbed your legs holding them there tight around him and started moving again, the new angle made you feel his cock deeper. " Fuck, oh my god", you whined, throwing your head backward against the pillow. had practically locked you under his grip, unable to do anything but take it all and retake it. With a firm push, he made him push against your G-spot, a gasp left your lips as his hand began to torture your clitoris.
"Oh my god, Jungwon is too much," you stammered, trying to hold back the tears and moans that were coming from your mouth, he accelerated more, hitting repeatedly the perfect spot. You felt your high grow and electric shocks of pleasure covered your body and your heat, "I am close to it", Jungwon made small circles in your clitoris stimulating him to the maximum «I also princess, want to fill with my sperm all your pussy» He accelerated his thrusts and you held him so strong «Fuck, sweet hold me so strong. I’m going to come and fill you up to the last drop» his voice was choked and his hips slammed against yours while he shot his sperm inside you while you came at the same time.
When he came out of you he lay down near you and embraced you and filled you with sweet kisses around your face, on your forehead, and in your hair, you were perfect for him and no one would ever have seen you so extremely excited and lost to someone else.
While he hugged you with the sleep that was starting in your body, he said softly «You will remain my rival N*1 but you are the most important and beautiful thing that has happened to me in the last few months, Y/n»
You hugged him even more and you put your head down in the groove of his neck and gave him a little kiss, "You too have become really important to me, but tomorrow morning I don’t want to be seen as your new conquest but something more for you Jungwon" a slight smile formed on Jungwon’s lips and gave you a kiss in the head. «You have always been mine in my head since they put us together Y/n, what did I tell you first? I wanted to be yours and you mine, so don’t worry that tomorrow I’ll still be yours for a long time.»

The LADS Men As Drivers
Caleb
Caleb is a road rager but he’s subtle about it. He’ll squeeze your thigh reassuringly, flash that dazzling smile, and then point to a peculiar cloud in the sky and ask you to guess what he thinks it looks like. He passes it off like it’s just a fun, little road trip game that he wants to play, but really, he’s distracting you so you don’t see him cut off the asshole in the truck and then make the most menacing eye contact with the driver that a human can possibly make as he passes by them. Then he resumes his smiley self shortly after, with you none the wiser. If you somehow manage to discern the slight increase in speed and ask him about it, he’ll simply say he was speeding up to get you a better view of the clouds you were so preciously naming for him.
He definitely loads the car up with lots of snacks before a big road trip and STILL gets you more snacks whenever he needs to stop at a gas station because he loves spoiling you and stuffing you full. And speaking of gas, it’s a while before he has to load up because he already filled up the car the day before the trip so he was immediately ready to go. He’s excited for any time he can get with you; he’s not going to let a low tank ruin that.
If the car gets a flat, you can be sure he’s replacing it himself. You’re not lifting a finger. And if the car needs fixing, you best believe he’ll be splayed out beneath it in an instant, examining all its parts with a keen eye, and in no time at all, it’s good as new. Sometimes you fake that your car needs fixing just to see him all greased up with oil, muscles tense as he cranks away with his tools.
He definitely lets you pick whatever channel you want on the radio. And when you get tired of listening to ads, he passes you his phone and the aux, and reveals he’s already made a playlist for you with all your favorite songs on it. You didn’t even know you had that many songs you liked, but little do you know, every time you even somewhat enjoyed a song, even if you didn’t say you liked it aloud, even if it was just a bop of your head or a swaying of your hips to show you enjoyed it, he’d already saved the song. He can’t have his princess getting bored. Hell, he’s even got all the lyrics to your favorite songs memorized so he can enjoy himself with you.
On a rare occasion, if he somehow gets into a car accident (in which case it’s definitely the other driver’s fault, not his; dude can pilot a plane, there’s no way he’s fucking up a car ride, and especially not when you’re in it), he’s very respectful and responsible about exchanging information with the other involved party, but inside, he’s slowly seething that they had the audacity to crash into him with you in the car. Don’t they know you’re precious cargo?
************************************************************************
Rafayel
Rafayel is a road rager as well, but unlike Caleb, he has no poker face. Or poker mouth. He’ll go on and on about how “they wouldn’t know what a turn signal was even if it got crammed up their butt” and then he’ll call Thomas to continue whining about it. He probably even has their license plate number to give to Thomas. Thomas has no idea what the fuck he is supposed to do with this information but he has to come up with something to satisfy Raf.
He’s definitely the type to roast what someone’s car looks like. “Who thought that shade of bright yellow was a good idea on a rusty, tin bucket like that?” “I hope they didn’t pay a lot of money for that custom license plate because then they’d be stupid and broke.” “Do you think their windows are so ridiculously tinted that they can’t see my eyes rolling? Because that’d be a shame.”
He definitely over uses his horn even if he’s in the wrong. He also never thinks he’s in the wrong. If he hits a curb, it’s the curb’s fault for being there.
He also makes up traffic laws that only apply to him. Like how he’s allowed to go 20 over the speed limit if he’s trying to get a good view of the sunset so he can paint it before it goes down.
He usually lets you be the passenger princess, but when you do drive, he just gazes at you lovingly, tucking the hair away from your face so you can drive safely. He’ll even sketch the way you look so he can immortalize the picture of you smiling as the sun streams in through the window. If you get bored while you’re driving, he’ll entertain you by telling you stories or by describing the scenery on his side of the window. Sometimes, he’ll even combine the two. “Once upon a time, there was a beautiful princess. One day, she went into town and she met an…upside down scarecrow.”
“An…upside down scarecrow?”
“I think someone’s scarecrow just got blown over in the wind. I thought it’d make for a compelling plot point.”
If the weather is bad, he insists on driving. He knows it stresses you out to drive when you can’t see clearly. If you’re at work and the weather is bad, he’ll pick you up. If he’s away on a trip but he knows you’re driving through a storm, he’ll keep you company on the phone to make sure you get home safe. “Just focus on the sound of my voice. Imagine that there’s a big rainbow waiting for you at the end of this storm. It’ll paint the skies in beautiful, bright colors, and you’ll forget there ever was a storm. Just keep talking to me until it passes. Can you do that for me, cutie? You’re almost home, you can do this. And when I get back, maybe we can go look for whatever is at the end of that rainbow, yeah?”
He teased you the first time you got in his car and kept adjusting the settings on his passenger seat, a little higher up, a little lower down, a little farther back, a little farther forward, until it was just right for you, “What are you, Goldilocks?” But once you decided on the most comfortable position to keep the chair in, he didn’t let anyone mess with it from then on. If Thomas or anyone else got in his car and tried to adjust the settings to their liking, he’d tell them to suffer or get in the backseat. He wants you to rely on him more, he wants to be able to pick you up from work or take you out on spontaneous drives, and he can’t do that if you’re uncomfortable in his car, constantly trying to adjust it to the way it was before.
************************************************************************
Sylus
Sylus is a fantastic driver. He has to be; he has a million vehicles at his disposal. And sometimes he needs a speedy getaway.
He definitely knows all the shortcuts and speed traps. And he smoothly weaves in and out of traffic whether he’s on a bike or in a car. He loves when you fall asleep in his passenger seat because he knows it means you trust him to get you home safely and he’s happy he can provide that comfort for you.
He also travels for work, so he has the traffic laws for multiple countries memorized. Just because he’s not a law-abiding citizen doesn’t mean he doesn’t know how to fly under the radar as one, should he wish it. He even knows the languages of the countries he frequents so he can read the street signs with ease and smooth talk his way out of a ticket if a cop decides to pull him over (not that he couldn’t just pay the ticket a million times over in any currency, but he likes to appear unassuming- or as unassuming as one with his height and build can be). He doesn’t draw attention to himself if he doesn’t need to.
That being said, he does love to speed. It reminds him of flying, with the wind flush against him, and the hum of his bike as calming as the beating of his wings. And now that you’ve begun riding with him, pointing out every mountain and valley and river with nothing less than awe and excitement in your voice at every twist and turn, he’s begun to realize he also loves the way the scenery melts all around him like one, big, oil painting that’s just for his and your viewing as you chase the horizon together. He’s even begun to take the scenic routes more frequently on purpose, just to give you something to smile at. Of course, he’ll deny it if you accuse him of taking the long way just to make you happy. He’ll say something stoic like, “I simply had the time to kill and the means to kill it.” But when you thank him and rest your head on his shoulder as you watch the cherry blossom trees fly by, his heartbeat thunders louder than the motor on his bike.
Sylus doesn’t see the point -or maybe he just doesn’t really understand- how roadtrip games work, but he shakes his head and gives you a small smile, as he agrees to a million rounds of “I Spy” just because he can’t get enough of the way your eyes light up with glee when you correctly guess what he’s thinking of. Or maybe he’s just amused that such a small thing can bring you such joy.
Sylus has ONE car that he puts all the stickers you give him on. He can’t very well be driving around town, going to meet his high end associates and business partners, with multiple, doe-eyed crow stickers all over his windows and bumpers, now can he? But he also can’t throw away something you gave him, so what does he do? He deposits them all on one car and uses that car to drive you around, smiling to himself when you’re swinging your feet all cutesy and happy in his passenger seat as you busy yourself examining all the stickers to make sure they’re in tip-top condition.
************************************************************************
Zayne
Zayne is such a safe driver that you sometimes accuse him of secretly being a grandma in disguise. He won’t start driving until he knows you’re seatbelted and if you jokingly refuse to put the seat belt on yourself, he will do it for you. He’s not leaving the driveway until he knows you’re safe.
Zayne almost always goes the speed limit and on the rare occasion when he does speed, it’s only for emergencies at the hospital; even then, he only just barely goes over the speed limit. Even if he’s in a rush, he’s as careful as can be because he doesn’t want to cause an accident that will land yet another patient in his operating room. And if you’re in the car? He wouldn’t dare speed and risk your life. Plus, he’d be embarrassed if he got a ticket in front of you anyway; you’d never let him live it down. Breaking News: Grandma Zayne got pulled over for going 5 over the speed limit.
There is one rule that he will break when driving though. He definitely eats while he’s driving, especially if it’s sweets. He tries to save the snacking for red lights and traffic jams, but sometimes the fresh box of pastries on his passenger seat is just too tempting for him to wait any longer. It’s lucky that as a surgeon he’s so proficient with using both hands, because it’s this skill that allows him to eat with one hand and drive with the other. It’s because of this snacking habit of his that he also keeps his car stocked with plenty of napkins and wipes for when he’s finished eating.
Zayne always calculates how much time it’ll take for him to arrive somewhere including a rough estimation of traffic, and he STILL leaves before the time he is supposed to so that he arrives early. He also gives you advice on your commute, calling you when he notices the traffic is heavier than usual to warn you to leave ahead of schedule.
Zayne almost never carpools on the way to work because he doesn’t know how long he’ll get stuck at the hospital and he doesn’t want you to get stranded, waiting for him to finish. But that only makes the moments where he does get to ride with you all the more enjoyable. He loves the way your nose scrunches up when you’re annoyed that someone cut you off in traffic. He loves the way you cycle restlessly through the radio stations because you can’t decide on one channel. He’s used to chaos at the hospital, but somehow your chaos is comforting.
He’s not that much of a road rager himself. He might mutter under his breath that someone was being “utterly ridiculous” but he usually keeps his thoughts to himself. It’s only a drive and he doesn’t feel like wasting the energy it would take to lash out at someone, and he certainly doesn’t want to ruin the mood for you. If he gets the chance to have a moment alone with you, even if it’s just the drive to the store, he will take that chance and he won’t waste it. He’ll ask you how your day has been, how work has been, how life has been, all while you’re sitting in traffic together. If anything, he might pray for the traffic to last longer so he can steal another minute more by your side.
He loves to tease you about which route is faster. If he tells you to go left and you raise your eyebrow at him and decide to go right because you swear you know better, he will chuckle to himself and just wait for the moment when you cuss under your breath after hitting a particularly large patch of traffic that seemingly came out of nowhere. “You know, I also frequent this grocery store. So I believe I am familiar enough with the road to get there.” He says it so simply, but you know he’s having fun with the whole situation. “I suppose if a certain hunter wasn’t so focused on being right, we might’ve avoided this issue altogether.” A hint of smirk plays on his lips and you decide right then and there that he’s buying all the groceries. Smug bastard.
************************************************************************
Xavier
(There is like one tiny minorly mature not explicit line)
Xavier usually takes public transportation; he prefers it because it allows him to zone out when he wants to and it’s less of a hassle than worrying about gas and repairs. But he’s noticed lately that there are things you want to do and things he wants to take you to that would be much more convenient with a car so he finally ended up buying a car for himself. When he first showed it to you, your eyes lit up like the stars and he knew in an instant that it was the right choice. Of course, once you were actually on the road and he saw you make the same face at someone else’s car, he definitely sulked to himself as he drove. But then you made a comment about what a cool feature his heated seats were and he quickly snapped back, proceeding to show off the other cool features in his car until he was satisfied that you weren’t going to go ogle someone else’s car after this.
Xavier doesn’t usually road rage if he’s driving by himself. He doesn’t have the energy for it. But if you’re in the car, he will glare guns and daggers at whoever dares to tailgate or cut you off.
When you need to get gas, he’ll get out and pump it for you. Partially because he wants to do something for you and partially because once he saw a man hitting on you at the pump when he went in to buy you snacks and he had to restrain himself from getting in the car and running the guy over.
Some people keep a change of clothing in the backseat of their car, some people keep snacks, Xavier keeps blankets back there. Ever since he discovered his car is fairly pleasant to sleep in, he has kept the car stocked up in case he decides to wait for you after work or running errands and sneak a quick nap in while he waits. He likes it even more when he gets to pull up to a lake or a park and lay the blanket out for the two of you to cuddle beneath while you enjoy the scenery. He could never do that when he was taking the train. He even got a car with a sunroof so you could both look up at the sky together.
Xavier also fixes your car for you when you need it fixed. Besides the fact that he doesn’t trust the people at the shop to not scam you for every penny you have, advertising new tires and new windows and new wipers and new filters, he also just somehow happens to have a degree in engineering among all of his other skills and he enjoys taking apart pieces and putting them back together in a more efficient way. He enjoys it even more if it helps you.
Xavier definitely argues with the GPS even though it can’t hear him. “Really? You want me to take a right here? Even though I could’ve sworn there was no right turn here? Interesting. I don’t recall paying so much for a fault system.”
Xavier definitely gets it on in the backseat, front seat, just all over his car really.

in the rain | lh43
requests are open
summary: luke surprises you with a cozy anniversary camping trip that turns unexpectedly magical when the rain rolls in.
You had a feeling Luke was up to something the second he told you to “pack comfy clothes, but not like too comfy, because you’ll still want to look cute.” Which, knowing Luke, could mean anything from dinner at a quiet restaurant to a spontaneous road trip into the woods. He was always full of surprises—your favorite kind of chaos.
He wouldn't tell you where you were going. Just grinned that annoyingly adorable grin and threw your weekend bag into the back of his car.
After about two hours of winding through tree-lined roads and humming along to your shared playlist, Luke finally pulled off onto a gravel path that led to a clearing tucked deep in the woods. A little lake shimmered through the trees, and a perfectly pitched tent sat near the water’s edge. Soft fairy lights were strung between two trees, glowing even though the sun was still hanging low in the sky.
“Luke…” you breathed, stepping out of the car and spinning slowly to take it all in.
He was already pulling your backpack from the trunk, looking overly proud of himself. “Happy anniversary, babe.”
Your heart felt like it grew three sizes.
“You did all this?”
“Yup. Even drove out two days ago to set everything up,” he said casually, then added with a sheepish smile, “Took me three tries to get the tent right, but don’t worry, it won’t fall over in the middle of the night. Probably.”
You couldn’t help it—you threw your arms around him and tackled him in a hug, nearly knocking him over. “This is perfect. You’re perfect.”
He held you there for a moment, swaying slightly. “You deserve perfect.”
You spent the afternoon sprawled out on the picnic blanket he’d laid out. You roasted marshmallows over the small firepit he built (“I Googled it. I’m basically a wilderness expert now.”), ate your favorite snacks, played cards, and lazily skipped rocks on the lake. Luke was completely in his element—laughing, teasing you, gently brushing your hair behind your ear whenever it got in your eyes.
As the sun started to dip lower, casting the lake in warm gold, you leaned against him and sighed contentedly. “This is the best anniversary I’ve ever had.”
“That was the plan.”
But as the sky began to turn a little pink, a cool wind started to roll in. You glanced up at the clouds now gathering above the trees, their fluffy edges darkening with an ominous gray hue.
“You don’t think it’s gonna rain, do you?” you asked.
“I checked the forecast—it said maybe light showers,” Luke said confidently. You raised an eyebrow.
Not five minutes later, the first drop hit your nose.
Luke stared up at the sky. “Okay, in my defense, weather apps lie.”
You both scrambled to grab what you could, tossing the rest of the snacks into the cooler and zipping up the tent. By the time everything was secured, a gentle drizzle was falling steadily through the trees.
You stood just under the tree line, hair damp, watching the raindrops ripple across the lake’s surface. Despite the rain, the air felt soft and quiet. The earthy smell of pine and rain surrounded you, and even though your hoodie was getting soaked, you found yourself smiling.
Luke came up behind you, arms sneaking around your waist. “Sorry about the weather. This wasn’t exactly part of the plan.”
You leaned your head back on his shoulder. “It’s okay. This is still kind of romantic.”
“You think so?”
You turned to face him, reaching up to push his wet curls out of his face. “Yeah. It’s like a movie scene. Except I’m freezing, and you look like a wet puppy.”
Luke made a dramatic gasp. “Excuse me, I am at least a handsome wet puppy.”
You laughed, and then, without warning, he tugged you gently by the hands into the clearing, where the rain was falling a little harder now.
“Luke!” you squealed, trying to resist, but your giggles gave you away.
“Dance with me,” he said, his voice soft but earnest, eyes crinkled in that way that made your heart do somersaults.
“There’s no music,” you whispered, breathless as he twirled you clumsily in the wet grass.
“There’s rain,” he replied simply.
And with that, you let go of everything—your hesitation, the cold, the fact that your socks were probably ruined. Luke swayed with you slowly, both of you dripping, laughing when one of you stepped wrong or slipped in the mud. It was ridiculous. It was messy.
It was perfect.
He pulled you closer, rain slipping down the curve of his jaw as he pressed his forehead against yours. “I love you,” he said, like it was the easiest thing in the world.
“I love you more,” you whispered, wrapping your arms tighter around his neck.
“Impossible,” he murmured, right before leaning in and kissing you.
The kiss was warm despite the chill in the air, slow and unhurried, like you had all the time in the world. The kind of kiss that made your toes curl and your heart feel a little too big for your chest.
When you finally pulled away, both of you laughing again, Luke looked at you like you’d hung the stars just for him.
“Even if everything else today had gone wrong,” he said, brushing your damp hair away from your face, “this moment would’ve made it all worth it.”
You smiled, cheeks pink and heart full. “You’re such a sap.”
“For you? Always.”
Eventually, you both stumbled back to the tent, soaked to the bone but buzzing with happiness. Luke handed you a hoodie that was at least two sizes too big and wrapped you in a blanket while you curled up together inside, listening to the rain tap gently on the tent’s roof.
Outside, the world kept raining. But inside, all you could feel was warmth.

Fingering You - Part 2
Summary: you already know from the title.
Characters: Shanks, Beckman, Mihawk, Crocodile, Doflamingo, Corazon
Genre: pure smut
CW: NSFW // fingering, mentions of penetrative sex, dirty talk, mirror sex, Big Dick Beckman, Rude Crocodile, Sadistic Doflamingo
———
Shanks:
You never know what you’re going to get with Shanks, but you always know you’re going to get something. He’s the handiest man you’ve ever met, always copping a feel. When you walk past him, sometimes he’ll reach out and grab your hand. Other times, he’ll simply brush his hand against your thigh. And sometimes, he’ll drag you over to him and shove a finger inside you, not even warming you up (not that it takes much from him to get you wet, just a, “baby, come here,” in that rocky voice of his and a sloppy kiss that tastes like weed). And when he does finger you, you have no idea if he’s going to lazily stroke your clit until you orgasm, you whining and writhing on top of him while he lounges lazily in his hammock, or if he’s going to take you to the edge and then fuck your orgasm out of you with his cock.
Beckman:
Have you seen this man’s hands? Two of his fingers amount to a small cock. But don’t worry, he won’t be too mean about it. Sure, he’ll expect you to call him daddy, and no, he won’t let you hide your face or cover your mouth to stop yourself from moaning, but he’ll take it nice and slow, stroking your clit until you’re begging for his fingers inside you because you just feel so empty without him penetrating you, then probing your weepy little entrance, gently pushing one big finger in and only adding another when you’re creaming for him. “That’s my good girl,” he’ll tell you as you adjust to the size of his hands, “taking daddy’s fingers just like you’re supposed to.” When he’s not heaping praise on you, he’s kissing you, his tongue pushing into your mouth while his fingers thrust in and out of your cunt. And once you’ve cum, he’ll deem you ready to take his cock. (Big Dick Beckman always preps you).
Mihawk:
He’s something of an expert with his hands. He noticed very quickly what you liked and what you didn’t, making detailed mental notes of how to get you off the fastest. Of course, this means he is also guilty of quickly making you cum so he can satisfy you without investing too much time, which often leads you to beg him to fuck you while his fingers are deep inside you, hitting all the right spots, his thumb torturing your clit. “Please, Mihawk. Please.” You cry into his shoulder as he works your orgasm out of you, and only when he keeps fingering you do you know he’ll soon be following it up with his cock, that knowledge sending another strong wave of arousal through you. By the time he’s licking his fingers clean, you’re about to cum again.
Crocodile:
He has a lot of things that need his attention, you being one of them. But if you want his full attention, you’re going to have to work for it. There are the times he fingers you to be nice, to prepare you at least somewhat to get fucked by that big cock of his, but then there are the times you’re just so needy but he’s working late and you find yourself slipping into his office around midnight, your pussy so wet it feels slippery to walk, your juices soaking through your panties. And he makes damn sure to point that out when you sit on his desk and spread your legs. He’ll sit back in his chair in a cloud of cigar smoke, watching expectantly as you push your panties to the side and finger yourself like you were just doing in your shared bed, and when that isn’t enough for you, you pick up his hand and push his fingers into your aching hole. You grind against his hand until you orgasm, and when you finish, he raises an eyebrow at you, a signal to clean his hand off with your mouth so he can get back to work.
Doflamingo:
He loves nothing more than to put his pretty little pet on display, and his absolute favorite way to finger you is in front of a mirror. He strips you down completely, remaining clothed himself, and sits you down in front of your naked reflection, your back pressed into his massive chest. He hooks your legs over his knees to keep them spread wide while his hands remain free to torture you, pinching your nipples so you can see for yourself how red they get when he has his way with them, spreading your outer lips and making you describe how your folds are glistening wet, grinning like a mad man when you admit it’s all for him. He takes his sweet time with you, sometimes doing this for up to an hour and not even making you cum once. And of course, he can never keep his tongue to himself, so expect him to be licking all over your ears and neck as he works.
Corazon:
He’s actually so nervous the first time. His hands are so big, and you seem so small by comparison, especially your cunt, but you look so desperate, with your brows furrowed and your bottom lip quivering as you grind against his thigh. What’s a man to do? So, he gently slides your panties down your legs and feels your messy cunt for the first time. He can barely breathe as he drags his fingers up and down your slit, and he almost chokes the first time he touches your clit, his heart jumping in your chest when you whine. He does it again, though, and then again, rubbing your clit until your body is shaking and your hanging onto him for dear life, your orgasm tearing through you. Only then does he try putting a finger inside you. And every time thereafter, he does it in that order, knowing damn well that first clitoral orgasm will leave you desperate to have his fingers inside you and then for another orgasm, which is exactly what he wants, you cumming on his fingers over and over again.
———
Hope you enjoyed it! If you want more, you can check out my masterlist here!

2AM Mistakes (Huh Yunjin x M!Reader)
Chapter 2: Something Between the Silence

(Yunjin POV)
The silence in the hotel room wasn’t peaceful.
It was the kind that buzzed under your skin—the kind that came after too much noise. Too many lights. Too many people telling you how to feel, who to be.
Yunjin lay sprawled across the bed, hoodie pulled over her head, fingers curled around her phone. The screen was black, but the song still echoed in her head.
2AM Mistakes.
She hadn’t been looking for it. She wasn’t even looking for music, really. Just… something. She needed a walk, needed air, needed space. Rehearsals were done, her face was scrubbed clean, the makeup wiped away, the smile with it.
The streets outside had been cold but quiet, a relief after constant motion. That’s when the track showed up on her feed—bare title, no artwork, just vibes.
She clicked.
And everything slowed down.
No overproduction. No agenda. Just a guitar, a mood, and that low-end beat that felt like a heartbeat trying not to break rhythm.
She’d left a comment without thinking. Just typed what it felt like: a song for walking home when it’s too cold to care how lonely you are.
She didn’t expect a reply.
But he responded.
Y/N.
No bio. No face. Just a few tracks, all lowkey and raw in the way only someone who wasn’t trying to go viral could pull off.
And for whatever reason… she kept talking.
He wasn’t trying to impress her. He didn’t even know who she was. She wasn’t Yunjin from LE SSERAFIM in that chat. She was just a girl who hummed a melody into her phone, late at night, hoping someone would understand what it meant without asking too many questions.
And he did.
He built on it. Turned it into something fuller. Played it back like it already belonged to both of them.
Now she was lying on her bed, alone, replaying that version again through her earbuds.
Not idol-perfect. Just real.
She scrolled to the last message she’d sent him. A new voice memo. Lighter than the first—less heavy, less sad. Still her.
She typed:
hj_426: this came out of nowhere. but maybe it’s the next part. tell me what you hear in it.
Her thumb hovered over the screen, then hit send.
A knock came from the shared suite door.
“Unnie,” Eunchae’s voice came muffled through the door. “You alive?”
Yunjin blinked, sat up halfway. “Yeah. Just tired.”
“We’re ordering food,” Sakura added. “Want anything?”
“Whatever you get is fine.”
“No complaining if it’s spicy again!” Chaewon warned.
Yunjin smiled faintly. “Noted.”
The footsteps faded.
She loved the girls. They were her second home. But lately, she’d been feeling like her body was in rooms her mind wasn’t. Like she was performing even when the music stopped.
The silence returned.
She opened the voice memo app again. Hit record. Hummed something softer, airy, like light cracking through thick clouds. Just a sketch.
She sent it.
Whatever this thing was with Y/N—it wasn’t normal. But it felt necessary.
Still no names.
Still no faces.
But something was starting to sound like it mattered.
(Y/N POV)
Y/N stared at the waveform looping on his screen.
The new melody she sent floated like fog. Delicate, but not weak. The kind of tune that made you stop what you were doing without realizing it.
He layered in some ambient textures—soft pads, slow reverb trails. Nothing flashy. Just enough to let her voice breathe.
He sat back. Exported the new draft.
Her message from earlier was still up:
hj_426: this came out of nowhere. but maybe it’s the next part. tell me what you hear in it.
He cracked his knuckles, then replied:
Y/N: there’s something in it that feels like… letting go. like the moment after crying where you’re just tired, but okay. i added a bit of ambient stuff. want me to send it?
She replied almost instantly:
hj_426: yes pls i’ve been refreshing like a psycho lol
He laughed quietly, sent the audio, then waited.
A minute passed.
Then:
hj_426: oh wow okay this might be my favorite one it sounds like… if a memory could sing
Y/N read that more than once.
Something about the way she worded things—it was like she was writing feelings without decoration. Just saying them straight.
He let the track loop in the background and typed again:
Y/N: random question but have u ever had a song that made u feel like… you didn’t write it like it was already there, just waiting for you to hear it?
hj_426: yes those are the best ones they come out like secrets you didn’t know you were hiding
He nodded at the screen.
Then paused.
He wasn’t usually this open. Not even with friends. But the more they talked, the less it felt like he was performing for someone. The less he needed to.
He rubbed his jaw, then added:
Y/N: hey speaking of music kinda random but i’m actually going to a concert this week
hj_426: oooh who?
He hesitated for half a beat, then typed:
Y/N: don’t judge lol friend had an extra ticket it’s for this kpop group le sserafim
He watched the typing bubble appear… then disappear… then come back again.
hj_426: lol why would i judge?? they’re good u into them?
Y/N: kinda? heard a few songs but my friend’s obsessed figured i’d tag along haven’t been to a concert in forever
hj_426: nice they put on solid shows should be fun
Y/N raised an eyebrow.
Y/N: you sound like you’ve seen them live or something
hj_426: yeah you could say that
He didn’t think much of it.
Just figured she must’ve seen them on tour or something.
Y/N: not really a “concert guy” but who knows maybe this one changes that
hj_426: maybe keep an open mind could surprise you
Y/N: i’ll let u know how it goes unless u ghost me before then lol
hj_426: not a chance we still got a whole album to write 2am mistakes is just the beginning
Y/N leaned back, staring at the city skyline just barely visible through his window.
Still no name.
Still no face.
But whatever this was—it was real enough to keep him awake.

young, dumb & bwoke | ln4

hi! as u can see i couldn't stop myself from writing about last saturday events in amsterdam with mr norris as main star (he was more popular than the king himself lmao). lando is literally what i always bring to the function and yup, enjoy him being the chaotic drunk bestie while max and y/n are his literal party parents. its nothing crazy and without plot basically, i just added sum to this years' koningsdag so yeah, enjoy!
summary: there is nothing that lando loves more than a good party and his beloved dutch friends so imagine him with drink in his cup surrounded by whole orange nation. it could be nuts and it was
warnings: TONS of alcohol, lando being drunk (and hurted), mentions of blood, basically sum chaos
pairing: fem!dutch!bff!reader x lando norris (ft. max verstappen)

Lando couldn't wait for the plane he was on to break through the heavy cloud cover and land in Amsterdam.
China and Miami, which were the next rounds on the calendar, were separated by two weeks that were nothing else, in Lando's case, than a time of stagnation. Add to this the fact that Lando had bad memories of his performance in China and, what's worse, the sprint he failed so badly and which constantly played in his head like a jammed record, one could go crazy. That's why the Brit was extremely happy when he received an invitation to spend the weekend in the capital of the Netherlands. He was invited to Amsterdam to celebrate King Willem's birthday by none other than his favorite flying Dutch.
The friendship of Y/N, Max and Lando began in 2019, practically from the very moment he entered Formula 1. The kid, who was barely 20 years old but looked like 12, immediately won over the Dutch couple with his smile and sense of humor, who, due to their sometimes severe temperament, could not boast of having many friends in the paddock. Even though the three friends were only two years apart, Max and Y/N naturally became Lando's racing parents, with whom the Brit spent practically every moment, from time in the paddock, through celebrating on the podium, to time away from competitions. So it was no surprise when they invited him to spend the weekend together, to which he, of course, eagerly agreed.
When the plane landed, Lando pulled the hood of his orange sweatshirt over his head and slung his backpack over his shoulder, in which he packed everything he might need for the coming days. As you could guess, there wasn't much of it, he actually had everything he needed on him and the most important part was an oversized orange sweatshirt. Waiting for him at the airport was Y/N, who couldn't wait to see him. She didn't have to wait too long, because a moment later he walked out in front of the terminal. Y/N smiled as she saw her friend walking towards her and she hugged him tightly.
"You knew I was coming, you could have asked the king for better weather," Lando joked, trying to sound serious, which only made the girl giggle.
"If you think that the weather will have any influence on what will happen in the evening, then unfortunately I will have to disappoint you," she replied, getting into the car. "It's already starting to get crowded in downtown, and it's not even noon."
Lando threw his backpack into the backseat and got into the passenger side. He smiled like a child, looking forward to how the weekend would unfold. It looked like he would spend a nice few days, able to finally de-stress and relax, and in the company of friends. But speaking of friends, one of them was missing.
"And where's Max?" he asked as they left the airport and were on their way to the girl's apartment. "I thought he had been waiting for me with the welcome committee since yesterday."
"He's already in town, I dropped him off while I was on my way to pick you up."
"He's fast," Lando laughed and shook his head, "I hope he's still on his feet when we get to him."
At that moment, Lando didn't think about the fact that no one else but himself would be able to stay on his feet. When the Brit set off for Amsterdam, he obviously expected to spend two days drunk, with legs sore from dancing and a sore throat from singing, but he forgot that he has absolutely no immunity to alcohol.
When the three friends were finally together, alcohol quickly appeared in their hands. Y/N and Max started with beer, but Lando had no intention of wasting his time drinking something that would only cause pressure on his bladder. As soon as he boarded one of the barges floating on the Herenbracht Canal, he drank several shots at once. Y/N and Max just exchanged glances as he drank the drink standing on Garrix's console in one gulp, who didn't care one bit about it, being already in a good mood himself.
"I'm a little worried about how this might end," Max said in her ear as she took a sip of her cider, watching Lando jump happily.
"Even if he's drunk, so what," she replied, handing him her bottle and taking away the body paints in circulation, "He didn't come here to be bored."
Max was about to say something, but she pushed his hand slightly, bringing the bottle he was holding to his lips. Max shook his head and took a few sips from it, while the girl started painting flags on his cheeks. When she finished, she waved them up, attracting Lando's attention, who understood what she meant and nodded eagerly. The girl squeezed through the console and stood next to him, leaning him against the barge rails, because Lando had trouble not bobbing to the music for a moment.
The smile that never left his face wrinkled his cheeks, on which she tried to paint Dutch flags. When she finished and turned to pass the paints, Lando took off her sunglasses and put them on himself.
"Have a drink with me!" Lando shouted, holding out his empty cup to her, and she raised her cider bottle in response. He rolled his eyes in dissatisfaction when suddenly a bottle of vodka appeared in the crowd and someone handed it straight to his hands. Without much thought, Lando unscrewed the cap and took a few sips as if the contents were water, which of course met with the crowd's approval.
Y/N took the bottle from his hands, fearing not the amount Lando drank, but the relatively short time it took him to do so. However, not wanting to seem boring, she tilted the bottle herself, letting the liquid burn her throat. Delighted, Lando clapped his hands and hugged his friend, causing some of the alcohol to flow down her chin. She smiled, wrapping her arms around his waist as well, and raised her hand in a toast, which was joined by everyone who had something to drink.
Max also raised his beer bottle a bit. However, somewhere in the background of his mind there was an image of Lando and what he would look like in the near future. However, the Brit himself did not care at all about this. As long as he was in the company of his friends, his plastic cup was full and he could jump to the music and sing along, he was happy. Even the fact that his face was in the wrong place at the wrong time, when someone, completely by accident, punched him in the face, didn't disturb it.
Y/N, who also decided to pick up the pace after drinking her cider, immediately sobered up when she saw blood on her friend's face. She quickly pressed a tissue to his nose, but he tried to assure her that he was fine. His brain didn't encode the impact or the pain, didn't acknowledge that he was bleeding, even when he ran his tongue over his lips and tasted blood on them. People in the crowd started calling out to each other to see if anyone had a first aid kit. Suddenly, out of nowhere, a bandage appeared, and just as Y/N, being drunk, thought it would be a great idea to wrap Lando's face in a bandage, Max started asking people if they somehow had band aids. He couldn't let that dumbass parade around like that for the rest of the evening.
“I've sobered up a bit, I can keep drinking,” he said as Y/N finished clumsily bandaging his face, “I probably look worse that i did when i crashed in Vegas.”
Her friend tried to be serious, but it was impossible to stay serious around Lando. "You have to be careful, Lan," she said, trying to retain some sanity and touching his cheek, looking into his eyes, "I hope it's not broken."
"Bwoken," he repeated in silly voice, giggling "Oh no, it couldn't be bwoken"
"Honestly, i also hope it is not," Max interjected when he managed to rejoin his friends after some time, "Getting to the hospital now would be a near miracle."
"Hey, I'm fine," he said as Max waved the Band-Aids in his face and began to remove the clumsy bandage into which their friend had probably poured her whole heart and a few drinks that she drank earlier.
"I'm glad you don't feel anything, but that doesn't change the fact that I won't look at it," he replied, lifting his chin and examining his nose from every angle. Luckily this one seemed fine.
Once Max had placed two tiny patches on him, Y/N handed him his mug with a fresh drink again. "Brave patient," she smiled at him.
"In a state like this, I'd be surprised if he felt something," Max admitted, taking a bottle of vodka standing nearby. He decided that since Lando had had an accident, nothing worse awaited them and he could allow himself to loosen a bit more. He took a few sips and handed the bottle to the younger one, who smiled, tightening his hand around it. He looked at his friends standing in front of him, slightly drunk but still fully focused on him. He knew he was important to them and that he is not alone in all this madness.
"I love you guys," he said, with a bottle in his hand, pushing himself off the railing and hugging them, "You are the best in the world, simply the best."
The rest of the day and later in the evening took place in a great atmosphere and the party lasted until 3. in the morning. For the rest of Amsterdam it probably lasted longer, but for Lando it began to end after two o'clock, when he was barely able to stand. Partly from being drunk, partly from being tired. He didn't stand still during a single song, so the next day, apart from his face, his legs will certainly be visible. Taking a break for something warm to eat, Max, Y/N, and Lando sat down at one of the wooden tables. While waiting for their orders, Lando rested his head on Y/N's shoulder and closed his eyes. It was obvious that he just needed something to lean on to fall asleep.
"I think it's time for us to go," the girl announced, directing her words to Max. "The baby is only fit for bed now."
"He's been in great shape for a long time anyway, judging by how much he was on his feet today," Max concluded, glancing first at him and then at the girl, "But you're holding up pretty well, aren't you?"
"Yes, I do," she nodded and hugged Lando, who began to slide off her shoulder, "But I'm also getting sleepy."
"Me too," Max rubbed his face with his hands, "At least we can be sure that no one will wake us up first thing in the morning to explore the city."
He said, glancing at Lando, who was dozing with his mouth open on his friend's shoulder. After eating casseroles and fries, which were for Lando and which he was unable to eat, the three of them went to the girl's apartment. Of course, only she and Max were walking on their own, Lando was between them, leaning on their arms. He was muttering something incomprehensible under his breath, so it was obvious that he was alive and everything was fine, besides the fact that he was completely drunk.
When they arrived at the address and crossed the threshold of the apartment, they immediately went to put him in the bedroom, not wasting time in unfolding the couch for him. Max was in the process of stripping him of his shoes, pants, bloody sweatshirt, and all the necklaces and ribbons he had collected the previous day, while Y/N placed a large bottle of water, painkillers, and a bucket by his bed, as if the contents of his stomach had suddenly decided that they wants to get outside. However, there was no indication that Lando was going to have a restless night, because he started snoring softly as soon as his cheek touched the pillow. Max covered him with the blanket and took a few steps away from the bed, standing next to his friend who was looking at the sleeping boy.
"Can you hear that?" Max whispered, glancing at her, and she frowned questioningly, "It's silence, listen to it, because when he gets up, the only thing you can hear will be his lamentations about how hungover he is."
The girl snorted quietly and shook her head, taking Lando's clothes to the laundry.
"The most important thing is that he had a good time. And a little hangover never killed nobody."
The next day, however, did not bring anything unexpected. When Lando woke up, the first thing that hit him was a terrible headache that got worse when he sat down and tried to get out of bed. When he stood in the doorway of the bedroom, Y/N and Max's eyes immediately went towards him and Lando could swear that they looked like they spent the entire last evening on the couch.
"Hi honey, did you sleep well?" Max asked playfully, in the perfect mood for jokes since he himself was fine after last night.
Lando just blinked several times and wanted to wipe his face with his hands and collect some words to answer, but when he touched his cut nose, he cursed loudly.
"What the fuck?"
"A souvenir from yesterday," the girl answered him, getting up from the couch and taking out a frozen package from the fridge, which she handed to him, "I recommend a shower and I'll make you some coffee."
He closed his eyes and put the package to his nose, sighing and grabbing the bathroom door handle. Before he disappeared, Max just shouted after him.
"And don't puke in the shower!"

𖣯 BLUE LOCK FRAGRANTICA
michael kaiser. alexis ness. otoya eita. baro shoei. oliver aiku.
fragrances and specific perfumes that i think blue lock characters would be attracted to based on their personality & preferences.
note 01 ⸻ implied fem reader. apologies if most of the perfumes listed below are more feminine-leaning. i just really don't like most of the masculine-leaning perfumes and so i tend to stay away from them. most of them make my head hurt for some reason.
note 02 ⸻ also named this hc after my favorite perfume website, aka fragrantica : ]
MICHAEL KAISER: ROSES, LYCHEE
𝐝𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐚 𝐞𝐱𝐜𝐥𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐟
Delina is a delicious perfume with a fragrance of roses mixed with the juicy and fruity scent of lychee, and the base note of vanilla which adds a creamy feel. The sweet and slightly tart fruit balances out the crispness of the roses, which gives the floral aspect of the perfume a slight twist. The vanilla, on the other hand, binds the two prominent notes together to give it an almost creamy, velvety atmosphere.
It's canon that Kaiser loves roses, but I feel like just the flower itself is a noticeable reminder of the unhealthy parts of himself despite its typical association with him having power over himself and the people around him. The lychee balances this out by adding sweetness into the mix, and the plushness of the vanilla makes the typically crisp roses to smell more comforting. It makes him think of the petal's gentle caress rather than the sharp thorns digging against his skin.
ALEXIS NESS: VANILLA, LAVENDER
𝐛𝐮𝐫𝐛𝐞𝐫𝐫𝐲 𝐠𝐨𝐝𝐝𝐞𝐬𝐬
Oh, god, this perfume emits a sense of strong and independent. Alexis has always admired the types of people that are able to control their own "loneliness," and the feel of this perfume is synonymous to that.
Although the dominant note in this is vanilla, this is not the sweet and juvenile kind, rather, it is mature and put together. The vanilla is thick and rich, but is balanced out by the powdery-floral scent of lavender. It's clean, luxurious, and slightly bold at the same time. There is a deep and and very slight hint of spiciness in the opening which elevates the perfume's personality.
This is the type of vanilla worn by anyone who silently commands respect.
( note. this is my the perfume i dream to have lolol )
OTOYA EITA: MARSHMALLOW, WHIPPED CREAM
𝐬𝐚𝐛𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐚 𝐜𝐚𝐫𝐩𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫'𝐬 𝐬𝐰𝐞𝐞𝐭 𝐭𝐨𝐨𝐭𝐡
Sabrina Carpenter's Sweeth Tooth gives off a sweet and girly scent. It's light, sweet, and airy like taking you on a trip to cotton candy clouds. The marshmallow note that basically encapsulates the whole perfume mixed with the whipped cream plus the chocolate within its list of notes makes this sweet and perfect for someone youthful. It's sugary and powdery, like drinking sweetened milk with marshmallows on top.
I personally get the feeling that otoya's pretty into girly girls, like someone who likes to wear fluffy, light-colored clothing and likes to style their hair into cute hairstyles. This perfume captures that kind of vibe.
BARO SHOEI: WHITE FLORAL
𝐯𝐢𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐚'𝐬 𝐬𝐞𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐭 𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲 𝐬𝐞𝐱𝐲 𝐨𝐚𝐬𝐢𝐬
Baro loves to clean, so I'm sure that he loves anything that smells clean as well. There are only three notes in Very Sexy Oasis which includes tuberose, orange blossom, and camelia, but the two white florals definitely stand out the most.
The fragrance is white and silky, almost similar to the scent of a creamy shampoo. It blends together to form this smooth and clean scent, like you're showering underneath a waterfall or bathing in a sunny oasis whilst surrounded by an array of white-petaled flowers. It's simple and straightforward—nothing complex unlike most of the perfumes that exist to boast about their beautiful complexity. This one is different—different in a way that is effortless.
OLIVER AIKU: COCONUT, VANILLA

Oliver Aiku. A womanizer. And you know what type of person fits a womanizer? A maneater who knows how to put them in their place—someone who knows out to lift the chess pieces and bring them to a checkmate. He likes a challenge, and this perfume is perfect for someone like that.
This perfume is sweet, warm, and slightly nutty from the coconut which gives it an exotic feel. Kind of like cracking open a coconut, drizzling the meat with coconut milk and vanilla, and inhaling its scent right beside the sea and underneath the hot sunlight. It definitely gives off the vibe of someone sensual and bold, completely unafraid to let go and just feel themselves. No one can ruin their vibe yk?

safe place.
an: ngl, I wanted to hug jude & bukayo through the screen when England lost😔

requested: I remember seeing that Jude said his mom helps him when he gets "too low with the lows or too high with the highs." Can you do a fic where his gf is that way?
pairing: jude bellingham x black!reader
series: lyrically inspired tales.
if my heart aches, you breathe with me at my pace.
song: safe place by ruthanne
warnings: this is most definitely not edited lol.

The stadium lights had dimmed, and the roar of the crowd had faded into a distant memory, replaced by a haunting silence. Jude Bellingham sat in the quiet of his hotel room, the weight of the Euro final's loss pressing heavily on his shoulders. Exhaustion seeped into his bones—physically, mentally, and emotionally he was tapped. The missed shot that could have changed everything replayed in his mind, a tormenting loop of what-ifs and if-onlys.
He felt utterly drained, each breath a reminder of the effort he had poured into the match. The worst part about losing was feeling like he was at his lowest, despite all the hard work and dedication he had poured in for his country. The memory of the silver medal being draped over his shoulder, the relentless flashes of cameras, and the disappointed faces of fans loomed over him like a dark cloud. He had tried to keep his head up, stopping to hug each of his teammates, whispering words of encouragement, but it still hurt like hell. He had forced a brave face, stifling the sting in his eyes, reassuring his family and friends that he was alright. Keeping up the front until he reached his room had been a monumental task, and now, alone in the dim light, the facade crumbled.
He stared blankly at the wall, the ache of disappointment settling deep within his chest. Hours seemed to drag by, each minute stretching into an eternity. His phone was on Do Not Disturb. Although he knew the messages were meant with the best intentions, Jude wasn’t ready to read the encouraging texts sent to him. He hadn't spoken to anyone since the bus doors closed, needing space to process the defeat alone. The team’s efforts, the dreams of a nation, all seemed to hang on that one moment when his shot had veered just slightly off course.
A knock at the door broke through his reverie. Jude ignored it at first, unwilling to face anyone. If he didn’t call out, whoever it was would go away. But then it came again.
A single knock, followed by three softer knocks, a distinct rhythm that was all too familiar. It was a special knock. Your special knock, a signal that meant more than words ever could. It prompted him to rise from the bed and cross the room.
Your interaction at the stadium was still a blur. A rushed kiss against his lips, nose, and forehead, a whispered “I love you so much,” was all he could receive before he was moving through the line of friends and family. In the few short hours that had passed, you had showered and changed.
When he opened the door, Jude found you standing there with your travel backpack pressed against your chest.
Jude paused to take you in, grounding himself by focusing on your familiar features. It was a routine he had built over the last six months of your relationship, a way to find solace in the midst of chaos. His eyes passed over your smooth, deep brown skin, which seemed to glow softly in the dim light. He traced the contours of your face, from your cheekbones to your lips that carried a gentle, reassuring smile. The sight of it relaxed the furrow of his brow.
Your eyes, warm and filled with understanding, were his favorite feature. They held a depth of emotion and wisdom that made him feel seen and understood. Your lashes framed them perfectly, long and curled, adding to the natural beauty that always took his breath away. His gaze traveled up to the soft curls, pineappled at the top of your head, his hand instinctively reaching forward.
As he studied you, taking in every detail—his touch tracing the curve of your jaw before settling against your cheek—he felt a sense of peace wash over him.
"Hi," you greeted softly, your voice a balm to his battered spirit.
Jude managed a weak smile, the corners of his lips lifting. "Hey," he replied, his voice rough.
You stepped inside, Jude’s hand instinctively settling on your hips as the door closed.
The scent of lavender and chamomile wafted from the bag you carried, filling the room with a calming aroma. It was a scent that lingered on the sheets of each hotel room Jude stayed in, his bedroom at home, and even in his shirts and jerseys. He associated it with you, and only you—a fragrance that instantly brought relaxation and comfort. Whenever you couldn't make it to his games, Jude would find the aromatherapy tucked away in his bag, a thoughtful gesture that made him feel close to you even when apart.
“My flight leaves at 9:30 tomorrow,” you began as you unzipped the bag. Gathering what you needed, you started towards the bathroom. “So, I’ll probably leave here at 7. I’m sure traffic is going to be insane.”
Jude listened to your voice, the calm cadence soothing his frayed nerves. You didn’t expect a response; you knew him well enough to understand that after a loss, he needed time to recover. So, you verbally went through your travel plans. The turnaround was quick, but you needed to report to work. While slightly annoying, the plan was simple: report home, get back to work, and into your routine. Jude would soon follow.
As you focused on starting the bath, Jude began to look through the items you bought. His hand paused on something small and familiar, tucked beneath his favorite snacks—a stuffed lion. He picked it up, a wave of bittersweet memories washing over him. The lion had a soft, golden mane and big, friendly eyes. Stitched into the pad of its right paw was a heart. Jude remembered the day he won it for you at the Ice Palace, the way your face had lit up with joy, your smile so wide and genuine it had made his heart swell.
"My lion," you’d giggled, hugging the plush toy tightly before wrapping your arms around his neck, your laughter ringing in his ears. “I can keep him with me when you’re away.”
You paused in the bathroom doorway, watching him hold the stuffed lion. "That always makes me feel better when we're apart," you said softly, a smile finding your lips as the shared memory hung between the two of you.
You began to take out and explain the things you had brought to cheer him up—a selection of his favorite snacks, your iPad full of movies, and some comforting toiletries. "I brought these because I thought they might help you relax. And I know how much you love Shawshank Redemption. So...being the gracious, loving girlfriend I am, I will sit through it for the hundredth time. But, only if you promise to share your sour st-"
You were mid-sentence when he moved towards you, wrapping his arms around your middle from behind. For a moment, you stayed that way, the warmth of his embrace speaking louder than words. Jude buried his face in your shoulder, his breath hitching as he tried to hold back the tears that threatened to escape.
You could feel the tremors in his body, his grip tightening as if you were his anchor in the storm of his emotions.
"It's okay," you whispered, turning to face him, the warmth of your palms against his cheeks lifting his eyes to yours. "You gave it everything you had, and that's all anyone can ask for. I'm so proud of you, Jude. You’ve come so far, and this is just a moment in your journey. It's okay to feel hurt and disappointed, but remember that you are stronger than this. Everything happens exactly when it's meant to."
Finally, the dam broke, and Jude rested against you, the tears he’d managed to keep at bay all night came pouring out. He remained pressed against you until the stress of the past few months drained his eyes dry. He allowed you to lead him to the bathroom, welcoming the warm, fragrant steam filled the room, creating a cocoon of comfort.
He allowed you to help him undress, your movements tender and deliberate, as if you were peeling away not just his clothes but also the layers of his hurt.
"Let's get you in," you murmured softly, as his lips brushed against yours, guiding him into the tub. Jude eased himself into the warm water, letting out a deep sigh as the heat began to soothe his aching muscles and weary mind.
You stepped back to gather the other things you had brought, but Jude's hand gently traced soothing circles into your thigh as you stood by the tub. The simple touch spoke volumes, a silent plea for your presence, for you to stay close.
Jude leaned his head back, closing his eyes as he let the warmth of the bath wash over him. The exhaustion and frustration that had gripped him began to loosen, replaced by a growing sense of peace. He listened as you moved around the room, lighting a few candles and setting out the items you had brought—a fluffy towel, his favorite shampoo, and a soft robe for when he got out.
You joined Jude in the tub, settling behind him. He welcomed the loofah against his skin, the gentle, rhythmic motion of your hands soothing his frayed nerves. You massaged his shoulders, careful with the one that had been previously injured, as he rested back against you. His hand found its place on his leg, grounding him as he watched the movie playing on the tablet propped nearby.
Your touch worked magic, and you could feel his body gradually relaxing. The tension that had coiled within him slowly unwound, and he seemed to be coming back to himself. The voice in his head, the one that echoed with doubt and personal criticism, grew quieter with each passing moment. Each gentle kiss you pressed against his skin, each laugh you shared from the film, chipped away at the walls of his frustration.
By the time most of the bubbles had dissipated, Jude was completely relaxed. His gratefulness showed in the way he gently squeezed your thigh and the soft kisses he brushed against your knuckles. The warmth of the water, combined with your presence, created a cocoon of comfort and safety.
He tilted his head back slightly, letting it rest against your shoulder, eyes half-closed in contentment. "I don't know what I'd do without you," he murmured, his voice barely above a whisper.
You smiled, fingers tracing small circles on his chest. "You don’t have to," you replied softly. "I’m here, always."
Jude sighed, a deep, contented breath that seemed to release the last of his lingering tension. He turned his head slightly to kiss your forehead, a silent thank you for being his anchor in the storm. The doubts that had plagued him earlier were now a distant memory.
The kiss he left against your lips was soft, almost sloppy. The physical and mental strain he's been under from Real Madrid and the Euros suddenly registering. His body begging for sleep.
"Let's get you outta here," you giggled. "I don't think I can carry you to bed if you fall asleep."
You press against the corner of his mouth, the action stopping the closing of his heavy eyelids. "Come on, Jude."
"Mmm...hold up..." Jude mumbled, eyes drifting shut as your lips brushed against his. Brow arching, his smirk prompting your eyes to roll. "...I'm not even tired."
"Uh-huh," stifling your giggle, you watch as Jude nods. His heavy eyes blinking before dropping down to your smile.
"'m not," he mumbled, his kiss missing your lips and settling on your chin.
A series of soft and light kiss lingered against your jaw, drifting to your shoulder. As much as he tried to fight off the comfortable sleeping tugging at him, Jude couldn't resist. By the time he reached your lips, a tired and goofy smile stretched across Jude's lips.
"Alright," he relented. "Let's go, but we gonna finish this in the morning."
"I'm sure we will," you smiled.
You place a final kiss against his lips. The brushing of your nose against his pulling out the smile that left you the victim of constant butterflies and euphoria. Before Jude knew it, the words slipped out.
"I love you," he murmured, the words hanging in the air between you like a delicate promise. "Thanks for this."
The words halted your movement of slipping from beneath him, your eyes widening slightly in surprise. It was the first time he had said it aloud. You had never pressured him for those words, knowing that he showed his love in countless other ways. Just as you did for him.
"I love you too, Jude," you replied as his lips found your forehead.
Letting his lips pass over your nose, Jude pushed himself.

manipulative!boss!sunday x timid!secretary!reader
summary: You accept the dinner invite, but can't shake the feeling that Sunday had alternative motivations. Well—you can't seem to get yourself to ignore it as well as you usually do, at least. wc: 1.3k
part 1 / part 2 / part 3 (nsfw)
---
To say you’re surprised that Sunday knows something almost feels on its way to an insult. Ever since meeting him, you’ve felt the notion that Sunday fills every room he’s in with a sort of omnipresence—a watchfulness that extends beyond his direct gaze, an invisible cloud of eminence curling in the corners of space like steam. Sure, you collect information for him in your manila folders and papers and electronic mails… but you often wonder if it’s merely to organize, not to present. That he is already aware of all things, and only wishes for it to be in proper order.
All this to say: The dress fitting you perfectly is entirely logical. Sure, maybe it’s a bit too perfect, but to show concern feels almost sacrilegious.
Of course Sunday knows. It’s normal for an employer to know such things, isn’t it?
Regardless, you find yourself out of place in this Blue Hour restaurant. Your only companions seem to be the objects in your old clutch: Your phone, and a metal tin of your favorite mints. Bringing along a wallet or even a few credit bills was out of the question, Sunday had assured you. Even at your protest, he insisted it would be taken care of.
You press a mint against the roof of your mouth with your tongue. You had been too anxious to remember the name of the restaurant, only hearing the erratic pace of the jazz music echoing from the band’s main stage. Only seeing the satin of the tablecloth. Only feeling the gnawing pit in your stomach.
“About today’s report, sir—“
Sunday would only keep his clasped fists against the table, maybe his forearms, but never his elbows. He was a man with remarkable, old-fashioned etiquette.
“Please,” he corrects you. “Call me Sunday.” “Mister Sunday,” you reiterate. But something tells you to stop talking anyways.
Your eyes glance around the room, wondering from what other angles he seems to be watching you, ridiculous as it may sound. You curse yourself at how easy it is to ‘pay it no mind’, ‘give it no thought’ in any other occasion. During work, at meetings, or when his presence is invisible to you. The sentiment feels like the most logical thing in the world then, but now? It’s a ridiculous notion.
But you can at least pretend to pay it no mind, and you find that to be enough for the time being. The band plays on, a saxophone wailing out its melody over double bass and the hiss of the drum kit.
"Jazz as a term for Penaconian music is a fairly recent construction," he begins to speak, at first seemingly to nobody but himself. "Popularized by my dear sister, naturally. Do you know what the term comes from?"
You shake your head.
"'Jats', more commonly phrased as 'the jats', also known as spirit, moxie, joie de vivre—Now, it's been corrupted to mean something closer to restlessness," he sighs. "But in its inception, to have 'the jats' was to be blessed by Xipe with a certain euphoria, and the style of music that many associated with such a feeling was said to be played by 'Jats bands'." Sunday takes the smallest sip of his drink before adding "But Jazz rolls off the tongue better, doesn't it?”
You laugh, a rictus showing on your face. “Indeed it does, Mr. Sunday.”
He smiles no wider than he would at any other person. Your certain vulnerability seems to almost leak onto the floor, rivulets flowing down the legs of your chair—Sunday relishes in the image, watery anxiety beading off the skin of your back and running down the curve of your spine. Underneath his gloves, his knuckles pale as he laces his fingers together tightly. The vision before him is everything he’d ever hoped for—what he’d been picturing when he selected the venue, the dress, the time. A plan perfectly orchestrated.
“I worry sometimes that you have the wrong idea of me, [Y/N],” he posits, glibly. “You seem tense.”
You stop yourself from placing another mint in your mouth to look him in the eye. “Oh, it’s nothing, Mr. Sunday,” you lie, “It’s just been a while since we’ve been seated, and we’ve only been given drinks.”
“I have an inclination that our food will be out shortly.” “…But sir,” you question, “We haven’t ordered.” “Our reservation asked for orders at the time of scheduling,” Sunday smiles. “As I said before, everything is being taken care of for you.”
Your eyes drift to the other patrons: A patchwork mass of Halovians here, Pepeshi there, many of which are discussing unknowable things over their large menus. You tell yourself it’s nothing to worry about. Logically, Sunday must know something you don’t. Sunday must know a lot of things that you don’t.
Sunday watches the slight movements of your jaw as your tongue curls around the next mint in your mouth. The first mint in your mouth had lasted two minutes, the next forty seconds, and the final only twenty-five. Perhaps there was something you were trying to purify within yourself—the unease he found so tantalizing at this moment, a symptom of your delicious eagerness to please—that you hoped to extract from each mint, your cheeks sucking in a nearly imperceptible degree as you drained each one dry. Sunday could imagine himself reaching over across the table to open your mouth with his thumb, saliva pooling in your mouth from the way you were siphoning the little white tablets greedily, the delicate muscles in your face spasming and twitching as you shudder beneath his velvet touch.
If he was a lesser man...
"Don't spoil your appetite on those mints, darling," Sunday jokes. He can immediately see you tense up from the name, swallowing the tablet in your mouth. "My apologies, Mister Sunday."
...Boss or not...why the hell were you apologizing to him?
"I told you, Sunday is fine," he smiles. "...Do I frighten you?" "Excuse me?" Sunday tilts his head to the side the slightest bit, his cranial wings drooping. Still, even as he expresses his supposed concern, his smile doesn't fade.
"You seem frightened, dear," he coos. "If I'd known you would hate dinner with me so much, I wouldn't have asked you." Initially, you feel yourself overcome with guilt. He was spending all this money on you just for you to be so skittish... But that was never the point of the dinner meeting, right? You bite your lower lip, mulling over the possibility of getting the topic of tonight's dinner back to that of your work. You look askance, to the lack of plate right before you, and then to him. "It's just a concern I had regarding budgeting for the venue," you lie, "Some of the cost estimates you'd previously requested have changed since—" You stop when you feel something touch your ankle. Sunday has leaned in closer to you to place his shoe between your feet. You look down to where his shoe must be under the table—hidden by the long tablecloth—then to him, with that static smile still on his face. Not a hint wider than he would smile at anyone else. "Isn't it peculiar?" he asks. Sunday hasn't been listening to you whatsoever. "Look around the room. Each and every table here is surrounded by strangers. These figures around us are unknown to us, and likewise we are unknown to them." Even when it's not the point of what he's saying, you can still feel that sense of malice hidden behind Sunday's teeth when he refers to the folk of Penacony. Avaricious, calloused, snobbish and cruel. Corrupt is often the term he uses, with a bite that seems to imply he finds himself distinct from it. Like a single healthy cell surrounded by cancerous tumor. The outer side of his shoe draws a line up your calf, and he continues.
"Don't you find it fascinating that all these people may glance at us—pay us no more mind than what we pay to them—and have no idea what we are to each other? Most don't even know I have a secretary," he grins. "Perhaps I enjoy keeping you as my little secret." What he says is enough to keep you silent until your food arrives.
--- a/n: thanks so much for all the notes on the last installment, everyone! hopefully a bit of worldbuilding isn't a turn-off to any of you, i'm obsessed with penacony's jazz age inspirations just as much as i am with sunday xD just for the sake of keeping things cut up right, we'll end things off here lolol tag list: @j1yu425 @crepezinhos

Y/n and Charles lingered over their wine, and when yn/bff made the signal that they should get going y/n waved her off. Usually she hated social settings, but Charles was so personable and warm that she felt like she was chatting with a longtime friend. "You can go, Pete can get me back to the hotel," she said, glancing to the table in the corner, where Pete and Charles's bodyguards sat. The dining room was private, and she had the feeling that Ferrari had paid to have the restaurant closed to anyone but their small party for the night.
"I will make sure she gets back safely," Charles promised.
Yn/bff relented, excusing herself and leaving. The next several moments YN bid goodnight to the others, smiling sweetly and shaking hands of the Ferrari personnel and members of the team, and finally Carlos, who shared a knowing look with Charles before he left.
"You don't have to stay with me," she said as the waiter came to refill their glasses.
"No, I am having a wonderful time." He smiled, asking the waiter to leave the bottle. "I have wanted to meet you for a long time."
That surprised her. "Really?" she asked, sipping her wine.
He nodded, standing and bringing his glass and the bottle around so he could sit next to her. "I've been a fan of yours since – ah, I'm bad at song titles. The song where it's – I heard that you're settled down. I can't sing, I'm sorry."
She smiled. "Someone Like You?"
"Yes, that one." Charles leaned one arm on the table. "A few of us came to Paris and we were supposed to come backstage after the show, but after what happened…"
"I saw pictures and videos of you and – Lando and Pierre right? I wish I could have met you then – I've been a fan forever, but…" She swallowed hard, glancing down briefly. "I cancelled my post show meetings," she murmured. "It didn't seem right."
"Were you…" He paused, then shook his head. "It is none of my business."
"Was I too upset?" she guessed, taking another sip as the surprised flashed in his eyes. "I suppose I was. You were at the show… Those emotional moments weren't rehearsed."
"I could tell."
"Do you want to know the crazy part?" She didn't know why she was sharing this with him. He was a stranger. Yet she felt so at ease with him. More at ease than she had in a long time, really. "I wasn't crying for him."
"Who were you crying for, chérie?" he asked softly.
"Myself. For the wasted time, the pain I put myself through." Y/n gave her head a little shake. "I'm sorry, you don't want to hear about that."
"I want to hear about anything you wish to say."
"Are you always this charming?" she asked.
"I'm not charming. That makes it sound like I'm trying to make you like me. I am just… Me, y/n."
"You. Charles Leclerc, one of the top drivers in formula one."
"And you are just y/n, queen of music."
"I wasn't always."
"Neither was I."
"Touche," she sighed, lightly clinking her glass to his. "But you are charming."
"Perhaps I am just charmed. I am glad you went with the red." His eyes stayed on her as he finished his wine. Then he glanced to the corner, hesitating before facing her again. "Would you like to go somewhere more private?"
She hesitated. She didn't know him. The last thing she needed was some messy disaster of a fling, or to dive into a new relationship. And yet… "Yes," she whispered.

Blue Lock Boys in: What Natural Hairstyles do they like?
These are my personal thoughts on what hairstyles blue lock boys like on black women, you can either discuss civilly or argue with the wall if you're going to be mean. Examples/ links to each style is included!!
Isagi Yoichi: he likes twist outs! Really, he just likes big fluffy hair and twists outs, wand curls and blowouts reallllly are his fave. He likes the way it crowns your face, how it gives you a bunch of hair to work with and shape. Putting in a little headband? Nice. Side part with a pretty clip? Wow!! You look like an actress!! Half up half down?? You’re literally ethereal!! he likes to lay on it too; that’s definitely his favorite part. It’s soft to lay his head on while you’re sitting together on the train, or set his chin on when he’s just waiting in line. He thinks you’re a little angel with your hair like a cloud. x x
Mikage Reo: wigs, which feels wrong? lol you joke that he must hate your hair because he’s always buying you wigs and paying for installs but in all honesty he loves that you can be a whole new person. Keeps him on his toes. Has an affinity for longer hair, but likes different colors, kinda close in tone to his (what a surprise.) You could show up to his match in oversize sunglasses and a new wig and he’ll be like actually where the hell in my girlfriend. And when he finally sees you he’s like “hmmm idk I have a realllly fine woman waiting for me at home :/" “am I prettier than her?” “Nah, you just have different hair”
Nagi Seishiro: box braids. It’s boring but it was the first protective style he ever saw you wear and it blew him away. like you just suddenly had these long braids he could play with. He’s so weird, he like takes the end and runs it over his cheek and he’s like “feels good. Like a tiny paint brush. It’s soothing.” Like whatever baby genius! he also likes all the hairstyles you can pull off: his fave is the half up in space buns look cause it looks very much like a magical girl transformation. x x
Itoshi Sae: wildly enough, sae likes just the natural curls and coils. He’d like a twist out or a braid out too; anything that makes spirals. Lots of people in Spain had curly or textured hair and it really was the first time he experienced textured hair. It’s so pretty. It takes up space and it’s unapologetic and it really just enhances a woman’s natural beauty. Yeah. God forbid you have a curly up-do or a slick back with your curls out around itoshi sae. He’ll go insane. x x
Shidou Ryusei: Detailed cornrows/ Fulani braids. Can you get a shape in there? Can you get beads? curly strands? The more intricate the better. He likes when it makes sound or fucking defies gravity. He’s legit jealous. LOVES baby hairs too. He tried to cut baby hairs so you could do his edges like whoa ‼️lets calm down!! When he’s being a brat he’ll make you lay your head on his chest and trace your parts like a freak. It’s like a map to him? Like those maze games. He also will give you a scalp massage or oil your scalp down. Plus he loves if you use an actual durag to keep it in check. Calls you a g and chest bumps you. He’s so fucking stupid lol x x
Bachira Meguru: also loves hair in its natural coils, kinks, and curls. He thinks it’s so cool looking. He sees it as an extension of you and he loves that you can twist it and shape it all different types of ways! Will ask you if he can do your hair (do not let him!! at least, please help in out lol.) He loves adding accessories like barrettes, bows, clips etc. He’ll def try to match hair styles with you, like space buns, claw clips, little butterfly clips etc. Will also match said hairstyle. x x
Itoshi Rin: French curl braids. Although I'm a very big believer that Rin Itoshi loves alt hairstyles, this feels right too. They’re pretty and he thinks of them as refined. He loves walking around with you when you have French curl braids. You also buy into the stereotypes of French curl braids and dress and do your makeup accordingly. Rin thinks it’s funny to point of but also loves having you on his arm in public. Like ah yes, I’m Rin Itoshi I’m the best spiker in the world and my girlfriend is the prettiest fucking princess ever. Be warned though, he pulls hair. x x
Hyoma Chigiri: hear him out: y'all have the best hair together when you get a silk press. The INCHES. The silkiness. He thinks it makes your face the center of attention and frames it sleekly. Plus, y'all can do matching styles! He always tries out his signature half braided hairstyle on you and loves when you wear it to matches. He also likes when y'all just brush each others hair. Whatever your maintenance routine for your hair is, chigiri learns it so when you’re extra tired he’ll do it for you. (In return you gotta learn his. It’s the rule.) x x
Tabito Karasu: faux locs. Ohhh girl don’t have faux locs and be thirty feet NEAR this mf. He pisses me off. He thinks the extra long ones are so fucking dope. He likes the styles too, like the giant bun or the half up half down. He just loves how it looks too, like you’re so cool. He likes butterfly locs too btw, thinks you look like a fairy. x x
Eita Otoya: goddess braids. It’s peak baddie hair. He pays for it. Mans has barely ever let you pick another hairstyle. He tells people all types of extravagant lies about you when you get your hair done. It’s stupid. He also will post you on his insta??? his story at least. Damn, he really fuckin launched you cause of some goddess braids. Menacing. x x
Micheal Kaiser: French curl braids. And he’s annoying about it. What else do you need to know? (alright, alright. Kaiser has a lot of romantic imagery around him and he’d love someone with a romantic hairstyle. You’re soooo princess. Adorn yourself with bows and he’ll be at your beck and call. He loves if you’re ultra feminine with it, like pearl headbands and lacy bows and frilly hats. He spams his insta with you, showing off your beauty.) x x
Oliver Aiku: locs. Aiku loves him some originality, and he loves a bitch with locs. Bonus points if they’re dyed a color that’s oh so perfect for you. The styles are always top tier and always in awe of how it can be switched up. He’s seen people do really cool things with their locs, and he’d love to kinda see what it’s like to maintain them. When he realized it wasnt as effortless as he imagined he starts asking a million and ten question it feels like an interview. He’s just excited. He feels smug having you in his arm cause you’re gorgeous, you’re 1 of 1 and he has massive respect for you? He wins. x x
Sendou Shuto: wand curls: blowouts. He likes the big fluffy curls, kinda like these. He wants a Hollywood actress and that floaty hair of yours reminds him of old school glamour. And if you added a pearly headband or a ribbon or a headband? UGH. With a red lip? GAHH!! he’s head over heels. x
Barou Shohei: Fulani braids. Bruh. The designs?? Barou loves that shit. Listen, he’s the king so obviously you’re his queen, and you’ve gotta have the coolest, flashiest hair so ppl know their place if you’re around. Design? yes. Beads? YES!! And if you get anything remotely similar to the design in his hair he’s going to drop to one knee. For fucking real. x x x
