"You alright?" Willow had asked. Hunter looked at the ground. He didn't want to worry her, but he didn't want to keep it all in either. He shook his head no, despite the little voice in the back of his mind yelling him it was selfish to say so.

"What's wrong?" She asked. Hunter felt tears pool in his eyes, he blinked them away and cleared his throat.

"I just miss flapjack, that's all." He mumbled, there was a slight wobble in his voice and if Willow wasn't paying as much attention as she was, she would have missed it. Willow sighed and placed a hand on his arm, rubbing it in a comforting manner.

"It's okay to feel upset over that, you know that right? You don't need to hold it all in. Its hard losing someone you love." Her voice was quiet and comforting, Hunter loved her voice, he could listen to her talk for hours.

Hunter felt his eyes water again, but this time he let himself cry. He hiccupped and Willow pulled him close. They sat on the ground together and he nestled his head into the crook of her neck.

Hunters hiccups turned into sobs, and his sobs turned into wails. Willow held him the whole time, her shirt getting tears and drool all over it, but she didn't care. All she cared about was Hunter. She let a few of her own tears slide down her face. Willow rubbed his back and held him as close as she could.

Soon, Hunters sobs turned into hiccups and shuddering breaths. They stayed on the ground for a while, holding each other, not daring to let go for even a second.

Hunter picked his head up off her shoulder, wiping his face with his hand. Willow smiled at him, holding his arm again.

"Feel any better?" She asked, Hunter nodded. Willow cupped Hunters cheek in her hand and rubbed his cheek with her thumb. He leaned into her touch, placing his hand on top of hers. She leaned towards him, closing her eyes and connecting the gap between their lips.

After they pulled apart, Willow pulled Hunter into another hug, this time Hunter hugged back.

"If you ever need to talk, we're all here Hunter." Hunter smiled.

"Same goes for you, captain." Willow giggled, kissing the top of Hunter's head.

"I'm glad I met met you."

They pulled apart from the hug and kissed again, lovingly.

"I'm glad I met you too, Willow. I love you."

"I love you, too."
