Tumblr media Tumblr media
summary - you are jealous of harry’s new bandmate, when you really don’t need to be
word count - ~1k
pairing - nonfamous!harry x reader
You didn’t think you really ever got jealous.
Not like this.
Sitting in your boyfriend’s room, alone whilst your boyfriend and his bandmates practiced downstairs, you never thought you’d be jealous of their new lead vocalist.
Your boyfriends band - Last Day on Earth - were in need of a female voice to better their music, and after many interviews for someone they came across Shana. She was a brilliant singer with just the right love for this kind of music - indie rock.
She was also out, most definitely, for your boyfriend.
You had come straight from the library to Harry’s house, hoping to spend the evening with your boyfriend.
When you arrived you heard them before you saw them. Harry and the band often practiced in his mum’s basement, as long as they were finished up by 10PM.
“Hello, love!” Anne had coddled you on the way in, taking your jacket from you and hanging it up in her under-stairs cupboard like you were part of the family.
“How are you, Anne?” You asked.
“Doing alright, love, yeah. You?” She pointed towards the kettle. “Cuppa?”
“Oh, no thanks. Just gonna see H if that’s okay?”
“Of course. He’s downstairs with Mitch, Tyler, Pauli and Shana.”
“S-Shana?” You questioned, pulling the sleeves of Harry’s sweatshirt over your hands and crossing your arms over your chest.
“Yes. She’s the bands new lead singer. Bit pitchy if you ask me, but it’s not my band.” Anne shrugged her shoulder and continued making herself a tea.
“Is Sarah here?”
“Yes, she is actually. Mitch is giving her a ride home I think.” Anne said, because apparently she was more clued up on your friends than you were.
“Okay.” You nodded, smiling. “Think I’m just gonna go to Harry’s room for a bit. If that’s okay?”
“Do what you want, Y/N. This house is as much yours as it is ours.”
You thanked Anne and walked up to Harry’s room.
Harry’s room was very stereotypical for a guy going through college. He had his bed with blur bedsheets and duvet. His posters on his walls from famous movies and concerts he liked. His bookshelf filled with Tolkein and Pratchett. His drum set in the corner of the room and his desk in another.
You threw your tote bag to the floor by the door and jumped onto his bed, before laying down.
His whole room smelt of him, obviously, and you absolutely loved it. He smelt so warm and musky. He smelt homely and comforting.
And after a long day studying, that was just what you needed.
You took out your phone and pulled up your text messages.
To Harry: in your room xx
To Harry: just going to lay here for a bit, then i’ll come say hi to you and the band xx
It took you a while to build up the energy to speak to people, especially after a long day studying. Your social battery took a long time to charge up and then drained almost instantly after one use, much like your old(ish) iphone.
You pulled out Harry’s Nintendo Switch and loaded up a new Mario Kart game.
Even though it was Harry’s Switch, you used it much more than he did. Harry much rather prefers his PC for gaming. A lot of the time he’ll game whilst you read, both of your sitting in comfortable silence as you enjoy being in each others presence.
Your phone pinged when you finished scrolling through Instagram.
From Harry: I’ll be up in 5 x
You didn’t expect Harry to stop practicing with his band, especially not for you, but it made your heart swell knowing he cared about you so much as to stop band practice for a little bit so he could see you.
A day apart from each other was too long. You had even packed your toothbrush today with the hope Harry would be okay with you staying over.
You pulled out Harry’s plaid pyjama bottoms from underneath his pillow, stepped out of your uncomfortable jeans and put on his pyjamas. It was a sigh of relief and comfort when you put them on.
You won your game on the Switch with a whispered cheer just as Harry walked into his room.
“Hey, you.” He smiled.
“Harry!” You cheered, dropping the Switch to greet him.
You sat up on his bed, coming to kneel at the edge of his bed with your arms out. He walked over to you and into your awaiting arms, linking his own around your neck and giving the top of your head a couple of kisses.
You hummed in comfort as you took in his homely smell.
You squeezed him a little tighter before letting him go. You moved back just a bit rested your chin on his chest, looking up at him from an unflattering angle.
“You okay?” He smiled down at you, double chins only making him look prettier.
“Mhm.” You tiredly smiled.
“How was the library?”
“Boring. Missed my study buddy.”
“Oh, I’m sorry baby.”
“Kiss? To make it up to me?”
Harry laughed, “Of course.”
He leant down slowly and you tilted your head to the side to let him have room. You captured his lips with yours, softly. It was a slow and soft kiss. Intimate and loving.
You pulled away, only for Harry to chase your lips back to his kissing you again. You smiled into the kiss, before giving him what he was clearly craving; You.
You reached up a hand from around him to bring up to his cheeks and squish them, so his lips could break away from yours.
“Oi, piss off.” Harry sounded silly at he spoke with your fingers squishing his cheeks.
You giggled, letting him go completely, before sitting back on your heels and smiling up at him.
Harry ended up resting his palms on the bed either side of you, bending down to your head height to speak to you.
“Come watch us play?” He asked politely, kissing your cheek.
“But Shana’s there.” You looked down, suddenly finding your fingers far more interesting. You messed with the ring on your finger that was actually Harry’s. The one he’d given to you one random night together, to show you how much he loved you.
“She is.”
“Yeah.” You said, not knowing how to articulate what you meant.
“She’s nice.” Harry added.
“I bet she is.” You huffed, when you had no reason to.
“She’s a good vocalist too, which is the only reason she’s here.”
“How good?” You looked up at him.
“Good enough that her girlfriend recommended her to us.” Harry smirked, knowing he got you there.
“Oh. Cool.”
Harry quickly kissed your forehead before standing up to normal height. “C’mon Little Miss Jealous.”
He held out a hand for you. You took it and he helped to pull you off the bed. He pulled you close to him so you chest hit his with a soft collision.
“Hey.” He spoke to get your attention. You tilted your head up to look at him through starry eyes.
“Hm?”
“I love you.”
You smiled, “Love you too.”
“Who loves me?” He asked for you to be clearer.
“I do.”
“Good. Wouldn’t want you to be anyone else.”
Harry always knew what to say, even when you were being unnecessarily mardy. There was no reason for you to be jealous for Shana, but sometimes you got in your own head too much.
Harry was always there to coax you out of your head though, working through your jealousy until you knew there was no reason.
He always validated you, but he also always reassured you.
“Okay. We can go now.” You nodded more confidently.
“Ready to watch me with heart eyes, baby?” Harry smirked.
“Always do, baby. Can you play ‘Love Her Stupid’?” You gave him puppy eyes.
“Think that’s a great idea, love.”
••••
(bonus)
You made it downstairs with Harry.
You found yourself walking in behind Harry, who went straight to the cookie cupboard.
His mum hit his hand before he could grab the whole packet.
“You can have one, mister. Dinner will be ready soon.” Anne said.
You laughed as Harry groaned and tilted his head back in frustration. His craving for biscuits was a serious one. One that you joked about with him all the time.
“Y/N, tell him he needs to cut down on the biscuits.” Anne tapped Harry’s stomach.
Harry was toned, don’t get anyone wrong, but he also had a little bit of chub there when he wanted. You loved how he didn’t take his body too seriously, but also didn’t neglect himself.
“I do tell him. He just doesn’t listen.”
“Listen to your girlfriend H, otherwise you’ll bloody lose her.” Anne lectured him.
“Lose her?” Harry scoffed. “Y/N’s obsessed with me.”
“In your dreams.” You rolled your eyes, but realistically what he said was the truth. You were obsessed and you were okay with that.

jungwon knew he loved you when...
...he stayed up the whole night talking with you. you and jungwon had fallen into the habit of talking on the phone before going to sleep every night. the two of you could talk about anything and everything. you told each other about your days, your friends, celebrity drama, the weather -- jungwon could chat about any topic as long as he got to hear your voice, your little laughs, your yawns, your soft sighs. that night after you'd been chatting for a while, he heard you gasp. "oh my god, it's 4am!" jungwon looked at his phone and he smiled to himself. he enjoyed talking to you so much that he completely lost track of time. with you, hours felt like mere minutes. that's why, as he wished you goodnight, he said "i love you" for the first time.
...more under the cut!
heeseung knew he loved you when...
...he saw you wearing his hoodie. in the few months since you started dating, you became a familiar presence in heeseung's apartment. it was early one morning, and heeseung slipped out of bed early while you were still asleep to get food. as he sat quietly in the kitchen eating his breakfast, he heard you walk into the room, your footsteps soft on the floor. when he looked up, he was met with the sight of you wearing one of his hoodies. he melted in an instant. it was adorably huge on you; the sleeves covered your hands and the bottom hem hung well past your waist. as he stared at you, his heart bursting at the fact that you were in his clothes, he knew you were the one.
jay knew he loved you when...
...you fell asleep on his shoulder. every so often, you insisted on dragging jay out of the house and spending hours shopping at the local mall. the two of you walked around the whole day, stopping at every shop, trying on everything, and getting snacks at the food court. when your adventure together finally drew to a close, you both took the subway home, taking seats next to each other. the gentle sway of the subway car seemed to slowly rock you to sleep. eventually, you rested your head on jay's shoulder, taking your boyfriend by surprise. he peered down at your sleeping face, your lips parted slightly as your breathing slowed. in that quiet, peaceful moment, jay realized he was irrevocably in love with you.
jake knew he loved you when...
...you cried while watching a kids' movie. movie marathons were a common activity on your and Jake's date nights. that night, you both settled on coco, snuggled together under the blankets. you always had a soft spot for disney movies, and the scene at the end when miguel sings to his grandmother always hits you right in the heart. you sniffled and the tears began to flow down your face. jake giggled softly, surprised that a kids' movie was making you so emotional. "it's so sad!" you said. "how are you not crying?" you buried your face in his chest and he combed his fingers through your hair in an attempt to soothe you. jake loved how big your heart was. jake loved how you felt every emotion so strongly and so genuinely. and most importantly, jake realized that he loved you.
sunghoon knew he loved you when...
...you communicated without speaking. it was saturday night and you were at a friend's party. the bass of the speakers thrummed and countless people filled the house, laughing and dancing and talking. sunghoon, forever an introvert, was beginning to reach the end of his social battery. he spotted you from across the room, chatting animatedly with a group of your mutual friends. you looked up, making eye contact with your boyfriend. you quickly excused yourself from the conversation and made your way over to him. "let's go home, i'm tired too," you said. "how'd you know i was tired?" he responded. you smiled. "your face said everything, hoon." sunghoon smiled back at you. right in front of him stood a person who understood him more than anyone, who he could speak to without saying a word. sunghoon was in love.
sunoo knew he loved you when...
...you beat him in MarioKart. the two of you had decided to spend the evening in, nestled together under a warm blanket on the couch with MarioKart on the TV. sunoo had beaten you in the previous four races and you were determined to secure a victory over your boyfriend. competitiveness was definitely a recurring theme in your relationship and MarioKart was essentially life or death. you and sunoo yelled at the screen, playfully shoving each other in an attempt to sabotage the other. as the final lap drew to a close, you finally surpassed him, ending in first place. when you leaped up from the couch, jumping and laughing in victory, sunoo took one look at your overjoyed smile and he immediately knew he was in love.
riki knew he loved you when...
...you two danced around the kitchen together. that night, everything in the world seemed to be silent except for the sound of your voices floating through the kitchen as you talked. music played softly from a speaker and riki had taken a seat at the counter, watching you fondly as you stood in front of him and divulged the events of your day. then, your favorite song came on shuffle and you grabbed his hand, pulling him in and twirling him around the room. the two of you danced together, your laughter mingling with the music. riki couldn't help but be starstruck by the sight of your smile illuminated by the glow of the refrigerator light. he knew in that moment that he wanted every night to be spent with you like this.

[Girl to Femboy Transformation] Coming Out Of His Cocoon.
“Goddammit! No service, still!”
Stacey was holding up her phone into the air, desperately trying to get some sort of connection to the outside world.
Stuck in the middle of the A Thousand Eyes Forest, with no connection to the internet, no way to call anyone, and no way home, this would be a nightmare for the average person. But this was pure hell for Stacey, a popular social media star, who was used to her millions of adoring fans - and haters - watching her every move, either judging and mocking her, or cheering her on and defend her her at every turn. That was company.
Not that she cared about any of them that much, anyway. Blind hate or love was all the same, as long as she kept up her good-girl schtick online and kept growing her audience, it didn’t matter what people online thought. Even her shallow fellow-influencer “friends” only tolerated her so that they could get numbers off of her and vice-versa. Purely transactional. She didn’t need true friends or companions, all she needed were the increasing views and followers, which made her more money, which made her Mom and Manager happy, and that’s all that mattered.
Well, until recently. Stacey wanted to stop being online all of the time for the sake of her mom’s praise, and wanted to go out and find herself. Get a hobby that she liked, go on dates with cute boys - stuff any nineteen-year-old would do.
Let’s just say… her mom wasn’t too happy with her daughter’s newfound sense of self, with her kicking her out of the house indefinitely. So, Stacey would, after joining her “friends” on this camping trip, she would leave her campsite and never come back.
In any case, she didn’t even have them to comfort her. And making matters worse, her phone died, due to the lack of battery.
In the middle of the night.
“Ugh, well isn’t this just terrific!” she yelled as she kicked a rock, which bumped off of a large, nearby tree, scattering a few animals - birds, rabbits, raccoons, and squirrels. Unknown to her, however, her careless actions made this old tree spirit unhappy with her.
“I’m stuck here alone with little food and water, in the middle of some…disgusting forest, walking in circles in the dark. And I can’t see shit! Who even names a forest A Thousand Eyes, anyway?? So creepy…” she said as she ate the last of her chocolate bar, which she then tossed onto the lush, green grass. “And my boots are all dirty, too!” she pouted, gesturing to her $5,000 pink glittery boots, covered in thick, brown mud.
“Know those bitches are gonna have a blast with me out of the picture. They’re probably already making their sad little videos about ‘HoW muCH tHeY mIsS StAcEy’, then a week later they’ll post some expose about me or whatever.” She laughed.
She sat down at the bottom of a large, ancient tree, and sighed. It was starting to rain, and she started to cry with the sky above.
“I guess this is what I get for not getting you enough views, huh, mom? You got what you wanted. Now, you don’t even have to face me! God, you’re so…arghh!! I HATE you!!” She yelled, breaking down in tears.
“I wish I could have seen you for who you were before! But it’s too late for that now. Maybe this is just what I deserve. Not like I’m a saint, or whatever.”
She closed her eyes and decided to at least get herself some shut eye.
Stacey awoke to a voice, one that was deep and ancient sounding.
“Stacey Steinberg. You and your companions have desecrated our home, the Forest of A Thousand Eyes.”
It was morning now, and the rain had long since subsided. “Is the tree… talking to me? Through my head? God, I must be going crazy…”
She knew what this tree was talking about, though. Her and her friends did make a mess at their campsite, leaving all sorts of junk - wrappers, water bottles, and even food.
“So that’s why it’s called the Forest of A Thousand Eyes.” Stacey thought, feeling both embarrassed and fearful of this forest that watched her every move.
She turned to face the tree, and crossed her arms over her chest. “Y-you know, being stuck in the middle of this stupid forest is punishment enough, so if you think-“
“We were thinking of a punishment, yes. But sensing your pain, your frustration, and your anger against your fellow humans who have wronged you - and us - we thought it would be best if you could join us in our great battle against your kind.”
She sighed. “I have literally nothing else better to do so, what do you want me to do, hive-mind?”
“Let yourself be renewed by the vines, and let us mold you into the Protector of the Forest of A Thousand Eyes.”
“Protector?? Of this forest? I hate this forest, but…not gonna lie, I like the title though. Protector. You know…I don’t dislike the sound of that”, she said with smirk.
“So be it.”
The clouds parted, and light beamed down onto the spot Stacey was sitting. The green tree she was sitting on glowed green, its layers in its bark shining brightly. Stacey took a step back, closed her eyes, and turned her head away from the tree, shielding them from the light by holding her hands out.
“Our vines will mold your body to your liking. You will have all the powers of the forest, and will protect all life within it, with your life. Now, remove your clothing and lay on the Home Tree. You will be gagged with the vines as well. This is done so that you can be as connected to nature as possible. But, you will be able to communicate with your voice and your thoughts if you want us to terminate the modifications at any time.”
“…you guys are bunch of perverts.” She said with a disgusting look on her face, opening her eyes as the light dimmed. “But hey, I’ve got nothing more to lose. And…hm, it would be nice to exist in a different body.”
She did as they said. First, she took off her pink and purple backpack. She then took off her clothes - a pink leather jacket, her pink boots, white sweater crop top, her light blue skirt.
Then, she took off her pink panties and bra, and her white socks, and laid on the tree trunk.
Then, the tree glowed again.
“Ugh…I feel so warm-agh!”
She saw as she was being covered in vines, as they one by one started to wrap around her hands, arms, legs, neck, and torso. The vines restrained her arms and legs, pinning her to the tree.
“Eww!” Stacey said, disgusted as more of the vines wrapped around her body. The vines covered up her eyes and shoved themselves into her mouth, gagging her, and squeezed and wriggled around her head and throat, making her face change somewhat, although she didn’t know in what way, but it felt…good, nonetheless. Her straight, neck-length blonde hair felt longer and free.
Meanwhile, she heard her voice deepen, sounding more boyish.
“Mmm..ohh..” she said with her new voice as her muscles began to relax.
“Oh! hah….” The vines squeezed around her chest, pushing down on her breasts, as if they were massaging them. Her shoulder and arms felt like they were pushing out of her body, as if like bubbles of stress were popping out of them.
She felt the vines tighten around her waist and hips, massaging them as well.
“Are you enjoying the changes so far?” Home Tree asked.
”I can’t believe I’m saying this, but…yeah, the feels so good!” She thought, while also nodding in between her muffled moans.
“We have one more change we need to address - would like us to give you a beautiful gift?”
”Mm-hmgh!” Stacey agreed.
With that, she felt the vines quickly spread her legs, as something warm and slimy ran down her thighs from her crotch. Something started to tickle her clit, making Stacey’s body tremble and moan with great pleasure.
After thirty seconds, the teasing stopped.
”H-hey, what’s the hold up—AH!”
After the teasing, it felt like two large vines were inserting themselves into her pussy and her anus, each one taking turns fucking her.
”Oh, fuck yes!” Casey thought, her moans getting loader and loader, the penetrations becoming faster and faster, harder and harder until she finally felt herself squirt.
”Wow…I’d never thought my first time would be with a tree, but…fuck! I don’t care anymore! This feels great!”
Then, she felt the vines, tugging, pulling…something in her vagina.
”Oh god, what’s happening nOwW?!?”
As the vines kept pulling whatever was inside of her out of her, she felt it growing, expanding…twitching. She also felt two other, smaller things being pulled after it, growing size as well.
The vines then wrapped around those unidentified things, then pulled them even harder.
”Gagh!! Ooh!!” Casey groaned. ”What is that thing??”
As the vines kept pulling, the faster those things grew. Faster and faster, bigger and bigger did they grow, until they were…pulled outside of her?
The vines tugged on them three more times, with more and more of them wrapping around it, until they seemed to reach a large enough size.
The largest of them, already feeling like it was about to burst.
Long and hard, twitching and throbbing, Casey didn’t care what it was, as the sensations coming from it were too much for her to bare!
”Oh god! Whatever that thing is, it feels like it gonna explode! Please, do something!” she begged.
The vines answered by rubbing it, the feelings almost pulsating from her crotch, Casey’s body shook as she moaned loudly, her head throwing itself back, reacting to the new feelings down there, as the vines also started to penetrate her ass again.
”It-it feels like lightning…exploding all over my body!”
As the vines kept rubbing it faster and faster, penetrating harder and harder, she could feel the sensations increase, higher and higher, faster and faster, until suddenly-
”Aahmngh!!” she moaned, feeling whatever that was welling up inside of her finally released themselves, as warm, thick liquid shot out of her and onto the vines, and dripped down onto her.
She hadn’t even begun collecting herself, when she felt the vines moving across her body, shuffling and flexing, wrapping tightly around her torso, and getting looser at her thighs and legs. Some of them didn’t even feel like vines anymore, most of them felt like…leaves? And a few twigs?
Afterwards, she felt the leaves release from her body, as they returned to the tree.
“Ack! Hack!” She gasped as she felt the vines leaving her mouth. She pushed her long, brown hair out of her eyes as the vines over her eyes lifted. “Hah, hah...wait cough, cough, is my hair…long again? And why is it- my voice? It sounds so weird now! What the fuck happened to me—oh, my god!!”
She looked down, as her eyes revealed to her her new body: She was wearing nothing but a almost skintight, shoulder-less, and sleeveless green dress, which was made up mostly of leaves and a few brown twigs, the lower parts being shades of a darker green, the edges of which shaped into cute triangles. A few pink and white flowers sprouted on the dress, too. Save for her nipples poking out of dress, her boobs were gone, her shoulders were slightly wider, her arms a little longer, and her hands were bigger. Complete with soft, pale skin, it replaced her fake tanned skin. Her curves smoothed out, and her butt was slightly bigger. And there was something, something hard and leaky poking out under her tight, green dress, between her soft, thick thighs-
“I’m…I’m a boy?? You…you turned me into a…a femboy??"
“This isn’t our doing. While we might have assisted in giving you this body, this is the body you wanted, is it not?”
“A-a mirror! Where the fuck did I put my mirror?!” She looked around for her backpack, but it was gone.
“You wanted to leave your old, filthy life behind, so we removed all of your material possessions that reminded you of it. But, if you want a ‘mirror’, we suppose we do have those here. Go to the nearest lake and see, yourself.”
After she ran to the lake, she bent over to see how much she had changed.
“My…my face…” she said as she touched her more androgynous face, its edges more defined.
She looked at the rest of her newly minted body, and blushed.
It had tiny freckles that danced across her nose and under her eyes. She saw how her nail polish now alternated between green and brown on each nail. She touched her hair, which was finally in its natural color again, brown, something that her mother never liked.
But he did.
Tears started welling up in his eyes.
“H-holy shit…I’ve never really considered being a boy, or any of this ever happening, but now I…think I can totally get used to this.” He smiled, wiping a tear from his face. “God this is…so weird, so confusing, but I also feel…amazing. Thank you, so much!”
“It pleases us that you enjoyed the changes. Now, the real work must be done.”
The animals - deer, birds, rabbits, raccoons, squirrels, butterflies, ants - all moved in around him. He stood back, scared that they might attack him.
“What, what’s happening now??”
“There is no need to fear. These are your fellow members in the animal kingdom. They are the ones you are going to protect.”
He looked at them, now seeing the little details he had never seen before. The way the ants moved together, they way the birds protected their nests, and the way the caterpillar hatched from its cocoon, turning into a butterfly.
That butterfly landed on his hand, softening his tense stance as he recognized himself in its transformation.
“Wow…you are all actually beautiful, in your own…weird way. Like, I-I’m still not completely sold on the dirt and the elements, but…maybe I was a little too quick to judge you guys.” He said, almost about to tear up again.
Casey turned to the tree once again, which seemed teleport wherever he went. He smiled and put his hands on his hips. “I think I’m definitely ready to be the protector of this forest. Now, where do we begin?”

New Fisher-Price Infant-to-Toddler Rocker, it's time for you and your baby to have fun
Tumblr media
With a new Fisher-Price Infant-to-Toddler Rocker, you can get more use out of your baby gear. This versatile rocker grows with your child, from 0 to 36 months old. It’s a great choice for busy moms on the go. Learn more about this must-have baby item. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r54D2m2jkpo Infant Toddler Rocker Review Hey guys, welcome to my channel. At least online I'm Alyssa. And today I'm going to review the Fisher-Price infant to toddler rocker. There are two basic reclined positions here, an additional bonus feature. So here we have it more reclined. Good for a young baby. Once the baby gets a little older, there are two blue buttons on either side, you push them in and you lift the back. That makes for a more upright position. Now, what I didn't know about, but really wish I had is the kickstand feature here, which is this bar at the bottom that you just pull out and it stops any rocking motion from the chair. And what I believe they realized was that for a younger baby, this is a great position for them because when it's more chair-like, and they can't sit by themselves yet, they kind of slumped to one side or the other. So we would try to compensate and put things on either side to prop them up. But I think that if you have this kickstand out, you don't need that. And they can just look at the characters and just chill. So I think that would be amazing for a newborn, right? So I mentioned these characters in the art. So these characters are maybe the best things about this baby Dee loved them. She would be entertained for, I don't know how long, just steer and get them talking to them from a young age to just got her social site going, fever, her friends. And it's very easy to remove as well. There are just these levers that you squeeze in at the bottom and he just lifts it straight out. So if you want your baby to see what's going on, they could just remove it. If they want to play with a different toy, it's very simple to remove it and to stick it back in.So a vibration option here on the side, it requires batteries, but if you don't want to use it, then this rocker doesn't need batteries. NEC we never use it. I find it to be an annoying thing. Dee never really responded to it. So we don't really turn it on. What's also nice about this chair is that it really is an infant from a toddler. So even more than I thought because apparently, you can lay this out pretty nicely for a newborn. It's great for a newborn. And it's great up to toddlerhood D use it a lot when she was younger lately, she's kind of cooled on it. Um, just because there are more interesting things going on, but I imagine that this will come in handy once again, when she's a little older and she wants to go look for a place to sit down and it's called her own, I could just envision her like having a snack or something and coming to sit on the chair.Um, so I'm really, I've been having it so far. And I look forward to seeing how it can come in useful in the future. I do want to point out that this doesn't rock by itself. It is not a self-rocker. It's not even like a bouncer that bounces by itself. Um, if she got really excited, it would move a little bit and that would move the characters. In fact, it seemed like the characters were moving a lot. She was fine with it. She never got scared. I'm excited about her. So it moves a little bit. You could rock it by hand. I never really did. Um, but really for us, it was more just a place to put her. It was a seat. It was something interesting, something different from the swing. The swing that we have is a snuggle puppy. Fisher-Price swing and it's big and it stays put this. I just, I would pick it up with her in it and move it around the house, different rooms. Um, we easily brought it places with us when you were going overnight, somewhere, even use to feed her when we didn't have our high chair, speaking of feeding. And as this is for a baby, it does get soiled, but it's very easy to wash. And there are prongs all along the side and you just have to lift them up. You'll know this from putting it, you just lift them all the way around. Once all the prongs are removed, you just slip this part off. There's a pocket in the back of that, but while your frame goes on and that's it very simple. Now I mentioned both a swing and a bouncer before this is very different from a swing. This I did not find particularly soothed deep, but it was good to entertain. It was a good place to put her so more for soothing purposes. Um, I would put her in the swing. A bouncer never had a, it was initially contemplating a bouncer or maybe a compact swing. I don't think I knew about this rocker option. We got it as a gift. Thank you, Duda. But in the end, I didn't feel a need to go get a bouncer because we were perfectly content with this D was perfectly content with it. It's a simple piece. That's comfortable for a baby and it works. So I didn't need to go searching for something else. Thanks so much for watching. Read the full article

There is a pixelated game called pony town and I love to play it. In this game you can explore an open world and role play with your friends. Or if your social battery is low you can build your own Island in peace and quiet.
The game throws new players in without any direction though. It's basically the wild west, a free-for-all, and has no directions. (Safe servers have a no swearing rule, or you will be kicked. You can go right back in, but safe servers are generally for younger audiences.) (Other than that there are no rules.)
If you have a friend or someone that's wanting you to play the game with them, you have to be prepared for a little bit of learning. You don't have to learn everything all at once, heavens no! If you like the game you can learn at your own pace, and if you don't that's fine.
The most common question is how to get to your personal island. I'll try my best to help though I'm not good at giving out tips. It's a simple jog down and left from Ponytown Spawn to the docks. Here's how to do it.
Tumblr media
This is the pony town spawn. It's where all new ponies come in. Every time you make a new character it spawns right here. You can put it in an option while you're making a character to always spawn in at this point when you leave the game or not, or you can turn that option off.
To get to your Island follow the road down from Spawn.
Keep going down until you see the bakery on the right and the marketplace below you. Stop at the crossroads. There should be a little road sign right in front of you, (next to two big rocks and a couple of flowers.) There are road signs along most of the major roads in pony town. If you're lost it's always a good bet to travel the roads and find a road sign.
Tumblr media
It's always better to go into pony town with a friend in case you do get lost, that way they can help you get around a little bit better.
Once you've come to this crossroads go left. You know you're going the right way when the marketplace is right below you, it's very big so it really shouldn't be that hard to miss. Stay on the main road going left.
Tumblr media
A short walk away should be a little dock with two boats and a stone patio. The stone patio is just there for decoration, but the two boats on the dock take you places!
Tumblr media
The bottom boat, (pictured below) takes you to a different part of the main pony Town Island. It takes you to one of the beaches. It's basically a fast travel to that point of the island.
Tumblr media
The main boat with the sale (pictured below) takes you to your own personal island! No one else can get on this island except for people you invite to your party. Here you can build the island however you want, with an object limit of 600 items for free players. You can do a lot with 600 items if your creative enough, so experiment!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
I might make another post on how to invite people to your party and other common questions, I'm not sure, but I hope this helps? @jokerislandgirl32 I don't know if we're planning to hang out in ponytail or not, but I thought you might be interested?

Hello!! I was hoping if match-ups are still open, I'd love to give it a shot! ⭐ I'd say it's a little tricky to describe who I am since I'm very used to just taking to heart how other people describe me- usually people say I'm very bubbly, outgoing and extroverted and while I do have a very long social battery I only like spending a lot of time with close friends and families and I don't like going out of my way of switching up my routine. I would also say I'm not adventurous on my own since that stresses me out. I'm SHORT (4'11") and I dress VERY femininely and it's very easy for anyone to spot me because they see a pink/pastel blob approaching from the distance. I always love wearing bralettes and skirts and glittery make up. Also I'm not very self-aware of my body ONCE I'm out and oh man there's been a lot of times where my skirt was blowing or my shirts ruffled. My friends (or strangers) always have to let me know about fixing that whoopsies. So if there was a bimbo element to me it'd be that. In my free time I focus mostly on drawing and creative writing, I also like focusing a lot on listening to my music and creating playlists or reading poetry. I also like rotating my hobbies with crafts, I like making jewellery, sewing clothes, etc. and I'm also a very generous gift giver for my loved ones and I always try to add a handmade element to gifts every year. In terms of my background, I'm (almost) done my bachelors degree in Communications and I major in a specialty program that focuses on humanitarianism with digital design, I also took a couple of background courses on psychology (focusing on mental illness, neurodivergence and theories of personality) to help out what I need to know in my program. I've also spent a long internship on helping out with some non-profit organizations and learnt a lot there. I often find myself around a lot of 'introverted' people and I like being around those that are strong conversationalists, I like speculating about the world and thinking about niche things in detail. I also like trying to put in my best effort to help improve the lives of my loved ones and I want to see them flourish (unfortunately it does take out a lot of my social battery than I realize). If I had to put myself as a civilian IN the MHA world, I'd be someone that's awfully perceptive on how hero society has failed a lot of vulnerable people and that there's this large misunderstanding (and lack of support) for villains and why they do the things that they do. I'm heavily concerned how that doesn't seem to be changing any time soon and it results in ME feeling like I should be doing something about that instead. I guess I have a natural yearning and calling to help those that don't have a good support system because I know what it's like to feel at rock bottom, as I grew up with anxiety and depression (luckily I know how to take care of myself now and how to handle that). Despite all that, I feel a lot of people describe me as someone that's optimistic and it helps push them forward. Hmmm I guess some other things about me is that I do have a decently big friend group where my girls are pretty protective of me since they kNOW I'm inclined to find the most emotionally-damaged blorbo ever. If I ever had to introduce my partner to them, they'll tear them to shreds (in a good way) but oh man are my friends sassy. hgoiwehgew sorry I realized I went on a tangent there, anyways thanks in advance if you get to this question! I also love reading all the match ups you've already done for everyone they're fantastic :))))
(I really appreciate the love from everyone that gets these. It’s me that should be thanking ya’ll instead haha. Sometimes I feel they’re a little repetitive in their format so it does my anxiety good to know I’m still making people happy with the content haha)
Match-Up #10
-I match you with Jin Bubaigawara-
Tumblr media
headcanon|scenario|imagine|match-up
-Every time without fail you were going to see this man at the same time on the same days during the week. You met him at your favorite corner store (and likely the only store in the city that held a special snack you discovered by accident when you stopped in there one faithful day. Well you suppose it must be his favorite store too right? The man that came in here to buy his cigarettes. One day you ended up talking to each other. Your hand reached to grab the last snack from the shelf and bumped into his hand lightly. “Huh?” He paused and pulled his hand back before looking at you for a second. “Ah, my bad. You eat these things too?” He asked as he reached to grab the pack off the shelf and hand it to you. “Don’t blame yah. These things are damn good. Caught them by accident last weekend when I was hungry and bored.” He spoke to you. “Oh uh yeah...these are really good. I didn’t know you liked these. I see you a lot and usually you’re buying a pack of those smokes back there behind the counter. I’ve never seen you grab anything else before.” You smirked at him and he chuckled. “Yeah, that’s because you haven’t seen me at night. The names Jin by the way. Jin Bubaigawara. And you?” He reached out to shake your hand. “Y/N.” The two of you ended up sitting at one of the tables outside of the store and chatting with each other. To him you seemed a lot more energetic about stuff than he’d be himself. It was a little funny (and cute) watching and listening to you go on and on. Eventually you two became rather good friends with each other.
-He admitted he liked being around you. He knew it was a big deal when you offered to hang out since it was a switch in your routine you’d otherwise ignored had it not been for him. Often times the two of you would just meet up to talk around some pond or lake somewhere or maybe even just sitting in his car in the parking lot and listening to music while munching on snacks together. Other times he’d be over at your place doing his own thing while you worked on art or writing. Sometimes the two of you would call-in for dinner and watch some dumb show on your couch (or mostly on a blanket pile on the living room floor. At first he was comfortable being just friends with you. He felt like there was a protective aspect to it somewhere. Sometimes he’d have to fix your clothes riding up in public and he got genuinely angry if some asshole tried to holler (hit on you). He became rather defensive of you, often waiting for the day to knock some loud mouth out if they commented on your height or your cutesy fashion sense compared to him. Probably about a week or two after your last hang-out session he was tossing and turning in his sleep. He woke up with a start and realized that he had feelings for you. After a wild argument with himself he finally decided to confess to you over text message. You read the message and didn’t send anything back. He was devastated until the next day when you showed up at his door with a handmade bracelet just for him. You accepted his feelings and he was over the moon after that!
-Although he can tend to be a little odd sometimes it was still really nice being with him. Dating him was like dating two (or maybe even three) different people at a time all in one body. Sometimes he was introverted, quiet and hard to read. You could never know what he was thinking as he stood by the window smoking and staring at the birds making a nest in the tree nearby. Even if he was quiet, you still knew you could talk to him and he’s quickly respond back. Other times he was all over the place, bouncing with excited and talking off the walls about different things here and there. Then came the more interesting conversations he had when his personalities seemed to be at debate. Those were rather funny to witness when he was in a good mood of course lol.
-He liked who he was when he was with you. You listened to his gripes and complaints about how society has treated him. You went as far as to offer your help in the League movement but you know he wasn’t going for that! You responded to him like he was a person and not just some filthy villain on the streets. You treated him with such kindness that his heart felt like it would swell and burst at the seams any minute now. You read poetry to him, sewed up his ratty and tattered clothes, loved him in all the ways he didn’t know he needed or that he thought he didn’t deserve. He tried his best to return the favor. He was affectionate with you (all of him), and he supported you even on your worst days. Sometimes if you maybe come home stressed or tired from your school or work he tends to communicate with tight hugs that take your breath away. He also makes sure to motivate you to continue your studies till the finish line, but he won’t put down on you if you EVER needed to take a break between then too.
-The only thing he has a rough time with at first is meeting your friends. He’s not angry or sensitive, but somewhere oddly in between. You take him to meet them at first when he’s mostly...himself. No mask or anything on his face. He can handle it for the majority of the lunch date but he definitely has a hard time understanding the vibes they put off. “Do they hate me or not???” He questions you later that evening when you get home and you just laugh before reassuring him. The next time he meet them is when he’s more energetic and bubbly. Maybe then he does a little better with the sass. He can give it back 10 times better and he also takes jokes very well too. Lucky you to have a guy like this at your side!

Interview Story
Trust the Process
The ongoing pandemic was a phenomenon that no one ever expected to doom upon the year 2019. It caused economies to fall, societies to struggle, and people to lose those who are dear to them. However, to one specific person, these years wherein we were all locked up inside our houses had pushed them to enter into a drastic positive change. Perhaps, this is all part of the process this survivor continues to believe in despite the difficult times.
Michaela “Mykee” Medina was easy to find in a sea of people because of their booming laughter, loud voice, random jokes, and wholesomeness. They are a nonbinary person who prefers the pronouns they/them. The 17-year-old was already a ball of energy ever since the moment I first heard them. I remember going down the stairs, cramped in a swarm of chattering students, when someone suddenly laughed out loud, enough to get the attention of everyone nearby. It was not simply a laugh as it got on my nerves due to how deafening the person was. It turned out to be Mykee. I was not aware of their name at that time because they were a transferee, but they certainly left a bad impression on me. But maybe first impressions do not last because a few months later, Mykee became one of my closest and most trusted friends. I knew from the start that they were a person who had their social battery filled up to the brim. What I did not know, though, was behind all those hearty cacklings, they were the complete opposite at home.
It was last year when the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic started globally, and most students in the Philippines were forced to adapt to the distance learning setup. Many of the student population enrolled in online learning and Mykee was one them. Unfortunately, the pandemic also deprived the goofy person of their coping mechanism. “Inconsistent yung toxicity sa bahay namin. Yung coping mechanism ko nung face-to-face is gumala lagi or makipagdaldalan sa school kaya never ko naging priority yung academics kasi nag focus ako sa mental health ko, kasi dati pa hindi maayos sa bahay. Pag nasa labas ako parang mas gusto ko magsaya kaysa mag-aral. Dahil pandemic ngayon, hindi na pwede lumabas at hindi ko na nakikita mga kaibigan ko.” They were also compelled to attend online classes, to which they had a really hard time adjusting to since they were getting consumed by the mentally damaging environment. This led to periods of anxiety, especially when they had to attend synchronous classes. I also came to an understanding that the reason why the adolescent seldom attended synchronous classes last academic year for they chose to protect their peace of mind. The year 2020 was when Mykee’s mental health hit rock bottom.
The year 2021 is when students are already at their second time taking online classes, and Mykee was now familiar with the said setup due to being able to adjust to it in a year. Moreover, the teenager had also been attending more synchronous classes this academic year than before, and finally dared to recite from time to time despite the lurking anxiousness. The online learner was not able to keep a perfect attendance in all classes as there are still some courses wherein they do not feel comfortable attending. Still, they were able to maintain good grades in those courses so it is not an issue for them. The carefree individual, who did not pay attention to their academics pre-pandemic, is now taking their studies seriously and even earning remarkable grades. “Proud ako sa sarili ko kasi kahit nahihirapan ako, nag honor pa ako. Kahit sobrang pangit nung mental health ko nung 2020, nag honor pa rin ako sa MCL,” said the Academic Excellence Awardee. This year, the extrovert was also able to depend on a new coping mechanism which is playing games such as Call of Duty Mobile (CODM) and watching on Netflix despite the suffocating atmosphere inside the four walls of what is called a home. They also realized that the reason why they like playing CODM is that they were able to bask in the presence of their friends even through virtual means only, which is quite similar to their old coping mechanism.
This improvement is not possible without any effort exerted by Mykee. It may be cliché, but it is indeed true when people say that at the end of the day, you only have yourself. Thus, Mykee went through all the hardship by allowing themselves to rest. They never pressure themselves whenever they feel like their mental health is hard to handle. They are not the type to organize a schedule of when they should do their tasks because it is more important to assist their mental health. “Mayroon akong own pace kasi alam ko naman na magagawa ko lahat ng kailangan kong gawin kahit hindi ako sumasabay sa ibang tao.” This pace that Mykee set for their good enabled them to give sufficient attention to their mental health and at the same time, pass a much better quality of their activities.
However, growth does not come overnight. Once it is started, it must be continued for a long time. Mykee had already formed a plan that would have happened if not for the pandemic. They are planning to find a job at their age. This is to avoid being dependent on their parents and if ever they get to accumulate a large amount of savings, they will move out of their draining household. The achiever also noticed that back when there were still face-to-face classes, they barely contributed to group tasks and stayed that way for years. But this completely changed since the start of online classes for they were pushed out of their comfort zone. “Nung online class na, yung mga madalas kong maging kagrupo is yung mga kakilala ko from my previous school. Dahil doon, yung comfortable feeling ko na wag tumulong is nawala kasi ayoko maging pahirap sa mga kaibigan ko, kaya first time ko lang din naramdaman yung pressure na tumulong. Namomotivate ako na mag keep up sakanila. The person I like, matalino rin siya kaya ayoko mapahiya.”
Mykee is not a hundred percent okay at the moment, no one could ever be. There will always be problems thrown to our faces as days go by. What is important is we always choose to improve and not stay in the same spot. This year has been a bit better for Mykee but if they were to go back to the past and change something, they would like to immediately cut off people who were bad for their mental health. “Noong 2020 kasi, may kaibigan ako na toxic. Yung number one regret ko noon hindi ko agad siya cinut off, kaya kung kakausapin ko yung sarili ko last year, i-cut off ko na agad yung taong yun once mafeel ko na toxic na. Kasi halos two years rin ako nagtiis sa ganung katoxican kaya lumala traumas ko.” Moreover, Mykee would also like to tell themselves to trust the process, as they always kept it in mind until the present time. The process may be a bumpy road but in the end, they will always trust to be a hundred times better.
Trusting the process was always something I heard from my dear friend, but had never quite believed in myself. It was because I thought we are always in control and responsible for what happened to us. However, Mykee’s story has taught me that even in difficult times, there will still be a light at the end of the tunnel. This process they had been talking about from the start will certainly never bring us to the bad. The desperate straits are part of it, all of which will help us reach the destination that was always meant for us. This destination will always be in favor of me, for Mykee, and everyone. We do not have the same experiences in life but I affirm that each one of us may blindly put our faith in the process we are undergoing, just like how my perseverant friend did. We may not know what is ahead of us but that does not mean life will never get better someday.

Meant To Be: Part 8
Pairings: Machine Gun Kelly x Reader
Warnings: Swearing, drug use
Word Count: 5,139
Part 1 / Part 2 / Part 3 / Part 4 / Part 5 / Part 6 / Part 7
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
“Do you have everything we need?” Colson asked as he walked off stage in Japan after his last of four shows in the country.
“It’s all waiting in the car.” You said with a nod as you popped the locks on Gage’s stroller and turned it toward the exit door. “We gotta hurry.”
“I’m there. I’m there.” He said as he ripped off the battery pack to his headphones and tossed them on top of a speaker on his way out the door.
“Here.” Ashleigh said as she ran up with a small bag that had a change of clothes, a package of body wipes that had decent reviews on Amazon, and his wallet, passport, and cellphone. “Flight leaves in three hours and it’s still on time.”
“Where’s Sawyer?” You asked as you paused at the back door and turned around to look for her.
“I’m here!” She yelled as she came running from the bathroom while fixing her belt as she went. “We’re good.” She said with a nod as she pushed open the back door and stepped out of the way for you.
“Lawyer will be waiting for you at the airport in NC to go over your case.” Ashleigh continued as she followed you out to the waiting car. “I put all the paperwork you need in the diaper bag.”
“And our clothes?”
“I’ve got them in the back.” You said as you stopped at the back door of the SUV and pulled your sleeping son in his carseat off the stroller.
“Here, you don’t need to be lifting that shit.” Colson said as he took the carseat out of your hands and climbed into the back seat with it while Sawyer folded up the stroller and pushed it to the back with your bags.
“Good luck, guys.” Baze said as he stopped at the door and helped you and your slightly significant, 10 week along bump into the car. “We’ll see you in the UK.”
“Don’t kill anyone.” Slim laughed as he shot you a look. “And take care of our babies.”
“As opposed to what, leaving them on the tarmac?” You teased as you buckled in the carseat.
“You got this.” Rook said before kissing his girlfriend goodbye for a few days. “We’ll see you soon.”
“Alright, they gotta go.” Ash said as she pushed everyone back a couple steps to close the doors. You all said your goodbyes, and settled back into the seats for a moment as the driver pulled away from the venue and headed toward the airport.
“OK, check the paperwork again.” Colson said as he pulled open his bag and grabbed the body wipes to get the post concert sweat off his body without a shower.
“It’s all there.” Sawyer said as you turned in your spot and grabbed the diaper bag from the back. “And I threw copies in my bag as well. We’re gunna be…”
“Don’t say we’re gunna be fine.” You snapped as you looked up at her through your lashes as you previously calmer self completely unraveled. “Fuck, can everyone just stop saying that shit. I could lose my fucking son tomorrow and I could be signing my second child straight to my mother’s arms in the same fucking swing. Nothing’s fucking fine, here.”
“OK.” Sawyer said softly, not taking offense to your anger in that moment as you pulled out the paperwork and the outline you had meticulously written out for yourself to go over them again.
“Where are we starting?” Colson asked as he wiped his arms down roughly, to keep himself from shaking with the nervousness you had both felt for the past three weeks since you got the custody papers.
“The DCF case.” You said as you pulled the list free of the paperclip and set it on Gage’s lap between you and Colson. “I have the case notes from the investigator and our social worker and the screened out letter and copies of all of it.”
“Our social worker’s number is on there, right?” Kels asked as he pulled off his jeans and set them aside to ‘wash’ from his hips down.
“I have a copy of her card stapled to both copies of the case notes.” You said as you checked both copies to triple check that the cards were still there.
“Medical’s next?” Colson asked as he glanced at the back of Sawyer’s head to make sure her attention was elsewhere before stripping off his dirty boxers and grabbing clean ones.
“Birth certificate…” You started with a sigh as you moved the DCF paperwork to the bottom of the pile for the next group. “NICU records, hospital records, Cali pediatrician records, North Carolina pediatrician record and notes, Cali number two pediatrician records. Check, check, check, and check.”
“And the records for the new baby?”
“Got those too if the judge needs them.”
“OK.” Colson sighed with a nod as he pulled on his clean shirt and used another one of the wipes to try and get the sweat out of his hair and off his flushed face. “What’s next?”
“Next is Sawyer and her records. Then the video files, and after that is your tour schedules for last and this year, the tour photos, and the receipts for the house and the bus baby proofing.” You looked over at the father of your children as he sighed and let his hands fall into his lap.
“Fuck, man… please don’t take my fucking kids.” A sob caught in your throat and you looked out the window as he reached across to hold your hand on Gage’s stomach. You couldn’t say anything to comfort him, same as there was nothing more he could say to comfort you, and Sawyer simply stayed silent in the seat in front of you. Colson smoked a quick joint, making sure to blow his smoke out the window for you and Gage, and chain smoked two cigarettes in the few minutes it took Sawyer to check herself, you, and Kels in to your flight. With the carseat in one hand and the other on your back, he lead you through the airport behind his body guard, through security, and to the plane.
“I won’t get on another plane without him.” Colson said after nearly an hour of silence as he sat down in his first class seat with Gage in his arms. You looked over at him through stress related exhausted eyes as he brushed his thumb across his son’s cheek. “I’ll cancel the fucking tour, I’ll even fucking catch a charge for murder and live in a third world country with you for the rest of my Goddamn life. But I will not lose my family again. I won’t fucking make it.” You nodded with tears in your eyes as he looked up at you with a shake of his head.
“I’m with you.” You whispered as you put your hand on his knee with a nod. “Even if we have to Bonnie and Clyde the fuck out of this situation, I’m with you.”
“I love you.” He whispered as he shifted in his seat so you could lay your head down on his shoulder to cry yourself to sleep.
“I love you, too.”
——
“Hey, stay with me.” Colson said softly as he reached over and gently pushed on your jaw with his fingers so you would focus on him and not your mother at the next table as you waited for the judge. “Right here, baby girl.”
“I wanna just jump over this fucking table.” You growled under your breath as you held Gage on your lap as he bounced up and down on your slack covered thighs.
“And we’re not doing that because of the kids, right?” He clarified as he moved to purposely catch your eye as he himself fought his own urge to strangle your mother. You both startled the slightest bit when the bailiff told everyone to stand up, and you took a deep breath as you got to your feet for a moment.
“Be seated.” Judge Kevin Bosch said as he took a seat behind the raised bench in the corner of the small room. “We’re here today for a grandparent custodial claim?” He clarified as he looked at the court documentation your mother had submitted.
“Yes sir.” Her lawyer, whose name you didn’t catch, said with a nod as he organized his papers at his table. “We have documentation proving that Mr. Colson Baker, aka Machine Gun Kelly, aka Kels, aka MGK and Ms. (Y/N) (Y/L/N) have severely neglected their son, Gage Michael Baker since they have left North Carolina and the safe environment my client had offered the child.”
“What evidence?” Judge Bosch asked as he looked up from the file on his desk when Gage started to ask for his juice. Sawyer, who was there to be a witness for you, jumped to her feet behind you and carefully took Gage from over the partition with a smile so that he wouldn’t disrupt the trial.
“She is their nanny, sir.” Your lawyer, Ally clarified for the judge with a smile as she sat almost perfectly still, biding her time until it was her turn to speak because she knew with all of your paperwork there was no way she was losing. The judge nodded his head and took the evidence your mother had brought with her.
“What am I looking at?” He asked as he looked away from Sawyer and Gage as they slipped out the door and down at the photos in his hand.
“Those are the living conditions of my daughter’s apartment.” Your mom said as she sat up a little more in her chair for her turn on the soap box. “Theres a few photos of a bruise on my grandson’s thigh from his father… who he lives with now. And there are a few photos that I had to find on the internet because she refused to let me see my grandson to check on his well being and instead, took him to rock show in the middle of a heat wave where there were drugs and drinking present. You can see my grandson’s father smoking marijuana in most of those photos and doing who knows what other drugs near my grandson. They are not fit parents, your honor.”
“If I may, your honor.” Ally said as she picked up your stack of paperwork. “The apartment that Mrs. (Y/L/N) is referring to is an apartment that my clients have not lived in in four years. I do, however have photographs from an unannounced DCF visit and from the professional company that installed their baby proofing in the house my clients and their son live in now. As far as the bruise Mrs. (Y/L/N) is referring to, I again, have documentation from a pediatrician here in North Carolina and a cell phone video that showed the incident happening.
Mr. Baker was holding his son in the hotel room they had been staying in as my clients were working out some personal issues. Mr. Baker was dancing with his son and turned a little too sharply and Gage’s leg hit the edge of the bathroom door. Ms. (Y/L/N) and Mr. Baker immediately took their child to his doctor because they were both scared something bigger had happened besides just the simple bruise the child received, which wasn’t the case. We have the rest of the child’s medical records here as well for you to peruse if you so choose showing that there is no other incidents or any indication of physical abuse and that my clients have made and kept every appointment to date with their son’s pediatrician.”
“Let me see those.” Judge Bosch said as he set your moms photos to the side and held his hand out for your paperwork. Ally nodded and picked up the top two and the bottom sections of paper clipped papers to hand to the bailiff.
“The tour…” Colson tried to say but Ally shushed him softly and tapped his arm.
“Just wait.” She whispered as she pat his arm briefly. He nodded his head as you reached out and grabbed his hand when the judge started flipping quickly through your paperwork. Ally waited until he made it to the last packet before continuing. “Now, as far as Mrs. (Y/L/N)’s last point, along with the photos of the work my clients have done on their house, they have also done the same work on Mr. Bakers tour bus.”
“How often do you go on tour, Mr. Baker?” The judge asked as he looked up at Colson.
“It varies… sir.” He said as he sat up impossibly straighter beside you. “I… we actually flew here from Japan where I am on tour right now. Tours last between two and three months… I have a schedule…”
“He goes on tour once maybe twice a year.” You said for him as solidly as you could. “In between tours, occasionally, he makes an appearance at a music festival and he also sponsors his own festival in Ohio. That festival is where I assume the photos my mother found are from. But I also have photos from that weekend that I had put up on my personal Instagram account.” Judge Bosch nodded and held his hand up for the photos, which you and Colson scrambled to grab, along with the tour schedules, copies of all the checks you wrote to Sawyer for watching Gage for you so that there was a paper trail, and the USB drive you had of nearly every home video you had on your and Colson’s phones that involved your son.
“Our son was never in harms way at that festival.” You continued as you reached for Colson’s hand under the table because you had nothing else left for your case. “Cols… Mr. Baker and I made sure that he had sunscreen applied every hour and a half like the bottle said. We made sure he had fans on him at all times if he wasn’t playing in the RV, he was given juice and water mixed so that he wouldn’t get dehydrated, when I had him in the carrier so that we could see C… Mr. Baker preform, he had noise canceling headphones on the entire time so his hearing wasn’t affected at all…”
“And we have had his hearing checked twice since we got back just to make sure and so we’d know for future shows.” Colson said as he held on to your hand as tightly as you were holding his. “Sir, we are not bad parents. Sure, we have tattoos, and we don’t work your typical nine to five gig. Yes, she used to model for Penthouse and I have a recording studio in my house that I sometimes spend a little too much time in… but Gage isn’t in any danger with us. In fact, that kid is probably safer with our crazy, over protective asses than he would be with anyone else…”
“Please watch your language, Mr. Baker.” The judge said as he set down all the papers and looked up at the two of you. Colson nodded his head and you sat forward as a single tear spilled over on your cheek.
“Sir, please. Please don’t take our son away from us. I am not the horrible mother my own mother is trying to make me out to be, and Colson is not an abusive father either. Our only fault here is we smoke a little weed after Gage goes to bed or when we know someone else is with him that can be more responsible than we can be for a few hours since it’s legal in California. But sir, we have both fought through a lot of personal shhhhh… stuff to make sure that he is a safe, healthy, loved little boy. Please… just watch the videos. Watch them and then tell me that we have not done everything we can to be the best parents we can be. Please…”
“We’re gunna take a short recess.” The judge said as he collected all of the documents you had brought him. “I have a lot to look over.” You bobbed your head in agreement and only made it part of the way out of your chair when the judge exited, before you simply collapsed back down in your chair.
“I can’t fucking do this.” You sighed, before your head whipped up at your favorite ‘Mama’ in the entire world. You forced a smile on your face and stood up as Sawyer walked down the far side of the benches in the back of the room with Gage on her hip.
“Hey baby boy.” You cooed as you took him from your friend and sat back down in your chair. “Did you have your juice? And did you get it all over your nice shirt?” You laughed as you turned your son around to face his dad. “This is all you.”
“Oh, that is so not all me.” Colson huffed as he held on to Gage’s hands so he could walk down your thighs and onto his. “Have you ever seen you eat ice cream in bed?”
“We watched the ducks.” Sawyer said with a giggle as you scowled at your boyfriend. “And we had juice and one of the ladies at the desk gave us a package of those cheese crackers he loves.”
“You mean the ones you love that you give my son so you can eat them?” You teased as you sat back in your chair and folded your hands on your bump.
“Yea, those ones.” You nodded your head slowly and slowly rocked yourself back and forth, while trying to force yourself not to look over at your mother.
“Can I ask how it went?”
“It went.” Colson sighed as he stood up to grab a book from the diaper bag beside your friend to pass the time.
“We gave him everything we had, shy of getting on our knees to suck his cock.” You said as you looked over at her. “And now all I can think about is what more we could have done.”
“You can’t think like that.” Ally said as she scooted her chair back and turned toward you. “We have a very strong case here. You and your lawyer did a very good job of setting it up.”
“Yea, but we’re tattooed parents that travel the world and take our clothes off for a living.” Colson said as he flipped the page so Gage could keep ‘reading’ to the pair of you.
“And that doesn’t make you bad parents.” Ally replied. “Especially with what I have seen the last couple days going over everything you sent me.”
“Guess we’ll wait and see.” You sighed as you propped your head up on your fist and moved your eyes to your son’s cherub face until they told you that you wouldn’t be able to look anymore.
——
No matter how hard you tried, you couldn’t get your legs to move to bring yourself vertical. The only thing you could do was shake your head and cry, like you had been doing for nearly thirty minutes since you saw a man from the North Carolina DCF walk into the back of the court room to sit and wait.
“Be seated.” Judge Bosch said as he sat down with the stacks of papers you and your mom had given him in one hand and the USB stick in the other. “Give that back to them.” You looked up for a moment at the bailiff as he returned your flash drive while the judge looked at Gage, who was contently eating goldfish one at a time at a nearly glacial pace because he was distracted by ‘Word World’ on your old iPad to keep him calm. Colson nervously reached out and held on to your knee under the table in preparation for the worst.
“You know… I have been doing this job for thirty seven years. I have seen thousands of family walk through those doors for so many different reasons, and hundreds of them were grandparents looking to give their grandchildren a better life than the one they have. But usually, the cases that are presented to my court room are worth my time. This is not one of those cases. This…” He sighed as he held up all the paperwork in his hand. “Was easily an open and closed case in my eyes.” Your heart felt like it stopped in your chest and you buried your face in Gage’s hair while Colson’s grip tightened even more on your knee as his hands started to shake.
“Now, I may not agree with your choice of lifestyle, Mr. Baker, but after looking at all the paperwork and all the videos and photos you and Ms. (Y/L/N) have presented, I honestly had to wonder if my own children would be considered neglected by the impressive parenting style the two of you have.” Your heart started beating faster and your hand flew out to hold Colson’s wrist as you both waited for the other shoe to drop. “Mrs. (Y/L/N), I don’t know what your intention here was, but my assumption is you have successfully managed to sever any familial ties you had with your daughter and your grandson after this. Mr. Baker… Ms. (Y/L/N)… I won’t waste any more of your time here. Take your son home.” The moment the words left his mouth, you let out a strangled, choked sob and hugged your son even closer to your chest. Colson whipped around in his chair and fell over with his head on your shoulder.
“Oh, fuck.” He choked as he kissed the side of Gage’s head. “Holy fuck.”
“You can take him home.” Ally said softly as she crouched down beside you to say good bye. “Your case is closed. She can never take him from you.”
“Thank you.” Colson choked out as you started planting kisses on every inch of Gage’s face that you could reach.
“Mama!” He screeched as he tried to push your face away, annoyed with you at the moment and just wanting to watch his show.
“Hey guys, we gotta flight to catch.” Sawyer said softly behind you as she put your and her purse and the diaper bag on her shoulder. “And a crew to update.”
“OK, we’re coming.” You said with a sniffle as you finally found your feet and stood up. There was a little shuffle of putting away the goldfish container and the iPad away, which your son was not happy about.
“Hey, you’re getting fuckin’ spoiled with all this TV.” Colson huffed as he took Gage from you so he wouldn’t hurt the baby with his flailing kicks. “We gotta get you back outside… oh, you can quit with the whiny bullshit, bubba. You know Daddy ain’t playin.” He blew a raspberry on his son’s cheek, startling him mid-cry, before he tossed him up in the air a few inches. Gage squealed and forgot all about his show as you took your purse from Sawyer and headed out of the court room while wiping the tears off your face. Your mother managed to catch your eye in the main hall and she daringly took a couple steps toward you.
“Do not speak to me.” You said evenly with a shake of your head. “How fucking dare you.”
“Fuck you, Marie.” Colson said as he put Gage on his hip and stepped back to push you in front of him. “Fuck you.”
“That boy deserves to have God in his life.” She called out after you. “He doesn’t need to grow up worshipping Satan!”
“Excuse me?!” You screamed as you came to a dead stop and whipped around toward her. “I know you did not just fucking say that to me.”
“Let me raise him in the church.” She begged as Colson quickly passed off Gage and grabbed your arm. “He’s better off.”
“He’s better off with his mother.” He growled through his teeth as evenly as he could, despite the fact that he was literally shaking with rage. “He is better off as far away from you as physically possible.”
“How could you even think this would go over well for you?” You asked as Ally came running over from where she was talking to her next client about his case. “What, did you just expect that I would come running back home, that I would run away from Colson, to be with my son after you stole him from me? Bitch, you must be fucking damaged.”
“OK, let’s just walk away.” Ally said as she took a couple steps in front of you, which only made you lean to the side to keep glaring at your mother.
“Even if we had been the worst parents in the world, I would fight every fucking day for the rest of my life to get my kids away from you. And if it was just Kels that was the issue, I’m sure he would agree with me that we’d go our separate ways if it was what was best for our family. But after what you try to do to dad because of Anne and then to your own daughter?! Bitch, you are the last fucking person I would let raise my kids. I’d even let Junior’s dumb ass raise them before you did.”
“Come on, we need to go now.” Sawyer tried as she pulled back on your arm to try to turn you around.
“Expect a fucking restraining order, bitch.” You barked as you finally caved in and turned away. “Because you will never see my babies again. Fucking Satan worshipers. Are you fucking stupid?”
“I’m gunna fucking hit her.” Colson said as he shot your mother one last look before turning to follow you out of the court house.
“She ain’t even worth the charge you’d catch.” You sighed as you reached out to take Gage to calm yourself down. “Right? Say I just don’t have a grandma anymore. Simple as that. Wanna go bye bye?”
“Still wanna fucking hit her.” Colson grumbled again as he held your arm to help you down the narrow stairs in heels.
“Not if I kill her first.” You cooed in a sing song voice and turned to head toward your rental car to head to the UK for the next week.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
You only lasted a week on tour, before switching time zones with a toddler while pregnant became to much to handle. So with a ‘quit while you’re ahead’ attitude, you flew back to LA with Sawyer, who was working hard to meet a strict deadline anyways. But that move was apparently not one of your smartest.
“Look, it’s Daddy!” You cooed to your son over his tears as you laid with him in your bed, trying to convince him to go to bed while he fought bed time tooth and nail through his exhaustion. You held your phone up in front of his face with the FaceTime video playing as loud as it would go, as Colson wiped the sleep from his half opened eyes to try to help.
“Main man Gage.” He croaked before clearing his throat. “Hey, buddy. What the fuck, man? It’s bed time. Hey...”
“No!!” You son screamed as he tossed on the bed beside you.
“I’m just waiting for the sleep gummy to kick in at this point.” You sighed as you whacked your son’s feet away from your stomach. “Quit, you little shit.”
“We’re such good parents.” He huffed as he propped his phone up on the pillow beside him so he didn’t have to hold it. “I think you should just come back here. I’ll get him to fucking sleep. Just knock him upside the head.”
“Is that an option now?” You joked with a tired smile. “Should I try it? My Harley Quinn bat is somewhere around here.”
“Do not knock my son upside the head.” He laughed as you reached out and pulled your child up to your chest in a vain attempt to stop his tantrum. “Or should I say don’t do it unless I’m there to witness it.”
“‘Bout to smother his ass with your pillow.” You muttered as you kissed your now simply crying son’s head. “He’s been pulling this shit since we landed three hours ago.”
“Why are you just now calling then?” He asked as you propped your phone up with a pillow so that Gage could see his dad, too now that he had stopped thrashing.
“Didn’t wanna wake you until I knew he was about to pass out. Cause we both know Daddy needs much more beauty sleep than Mommy does. With those bags, and all those wrinkles startin’.”
“Fuck you.” He laughed with a shake of his head. “Your ass is the one that’s got wrinkles.”
“My ass is perfect, thank you.” You huffed as you adjusted your head on the pillow. “And I grow people so I’ll always be more beautiful.”
“OK, so you got me there.” He conceded. “Hey little man, you ready for sleepies?” You felt your son nod slowly against your chest, and you picked up your head to look at him while Colson sat up the slightest bit. He started singing ‘Good Night, Gage’, a song he wrote specifically for your son, that was guaranteed to knock him out completely, and sure enough, he didn’t make it to the chorus before your son was finally passed out in front of you.
“You’re a miracle worker, Colson. Swear to God.”
“I try.” He sighed as he laid back down to go back to sleep. “I miss you two.”
“We miss you, too.” You said with a nod. “And we love you.”
“Love you guys, too. I’ll call you in the morning, ‘K?”
“We’ll be here. Hopefully well rested.”
“I’m sure you will be. He’s had a hell of a time switching time zones like we’ve had to.”
“I know.” You sighed with a nod. “Which is why we came home.”
“I know. Alright, I love you. I gotta get some more sleep.”
“I know, Love you, too.” You blew him a kiss, which he returned to you before taking one last look at the loves of his life and hanging up the call for the night. You lasted just long enough to plug your phone in, turn off the light, and move your son to his spot in the middle of the bed before passing out for the most glorious ten hours of sleep you thought you ever had.
