I gotta at least try doing some spntaneous ones sometimes - with a lot of the recent art I've been very direct about the experiences that inspire them rather than leaving cryptic titles anyone can imprint on. those are great for using art to work through whatever I'm feeling and hopefully let it go, but sometimes I'm thinking a bit abstractly

puppy is cute! I wish I could indulge in it more but I guess I'm all about robots and really don't find myself that cute. gotta be realistic about what I can achieve looking the way I do (and yes somehow this even applies to my art pieces where I could theoretically draw things that look like anything).

hear me out but werewolf au AND knight au!!! knight!character who might be chivalrous and upholds his duty well but struggles with his ego and cockiness. he’s overconfident and can sometimes make less than desirable decisions because of that, and he manages to piss off a witch. to make matters worse, this happens whenever he’s tasked with protecting and escorting you, the kingdom’s beloved princess, to meet your betrothed.

for the most part, he’s still basically human, albeit a bit taller and muscular and hairier, but the closer the full moon approaches, the more wolf like he becomes until he can no longer control his cursed animalistic side of him. on the first full moon, he begs you to run away from him for your own safety. you’re a sheltered princess trying to escape from an uncontrollable, hungry beast. it was never going to end well.

instead of attacking you, ends up attacking deer and hurting himself, all to keep you safe. even in his most wild, beast like state, he still kept you safe. somewhere deep inside, there’s still a shining knight within him. you want to save him, but the only way to break the curse, according to that wretched witch, is to say the werewolf’s name, to call for him to come back home, without any fear. the person doing this must truly love him.

here’s the problem. the first full moon? when you ran away? you hit your head on a rock and now your memory kind of sucks. as in, you forgot his name. he’s cursed to be unable to speak his name. and if you don’t break this curse within 6 full moon transformations? he’ll be stuck as a beast forever.
