Gave it a try, and as a person in his 60s, it reminded me of something I use to eat as a child that I hadn't tasted in years.

There used to be these inexpensive little spice cakes with a brittle white icing. (don't know the flavor it was supposed to be… cream cheese? vanilla? a lot of sugar? It was something found in little off the wall shops).

Reminds me of that. Guess there might be something new under the sun if you look hard enough, but not on the grocery shelves.

The above is not the mystery cake I write about, but it's the closest I could find.

Randomly picked this up the other day because.... potato.

Well, it WAS the color of potato water...

Ya, it was a milky white color which seems like the color for EVERY "mystery flavor" ever. Can I just say... can we stop doing that? I mean, for candy its not so bad but for a soda???? It looked like watered down milk!

So why did I get it?

ANYWAY

What did it taste like?

Literally every other "mystery flavor" ever.

Wana know somethin funny? "Mystery flavor" is just what comes out when the company is changing flavors in their extruders. At least thats how it started with dumdums. Things like Airheads may have developed a specific flavor for the white ones or they may just use the run between 2 specific flavors as the "mystery" one so its consistent.

So my bottle may taste slightly different than one you would get on the other side of the US/World. But its probably not gonna be too different because all mystery flavor things taste the same. -_-

So was it good???

Eh. It was ok? I will say that my second favorite flavor of airhead candy IS the mystery flavor and this was very very similar. Buuutttt the fact it was a carbonated drink was... odd.

I finished it, obviously, so it was better than the ginger beer from Aldi. If you like "mystery flavor" candy then give this a go. If you dont, avoid it 100%.

Dante is biromantic! Usually they just say "asexual" because that's what the average person will actually understand, but to their friends and in other queer spaces, they spell it all out.

2. Do they enjoy dating or prefer being single?

Being single, tbh. Dante has absolutely no problem being single for the rest of their life, if that's what ends up happening, but they also aren't against dating/being queer-platonic with someone if it happens to feel right. For now they're trying to get a bachelor's degree without dying.

3. Are they in a committed relationship right now? Queer-platonic or romantic? Both?

The thing Dante is the most committed to is the grind their art!

4. If they’re single, have they ever been in a romantic or queer-platonic relationship?

Dante had a few "single dates that were horribly awkward the whole time" experiences in high school, but never anything more significant than that.
