Day Four: Ludus

For those who don't remember, Galen is Jumin's 6'7" Greek boyfriend

Jumin could admit that he didn't have a regular childhood growing up. Between the lines of nannies and tutors and getting sent to an island for character growth, he knew that the average child didn't grow up with his level of privilege.

Galen, on the other hand, was a self described "street rat". Jumin hated when he described himself like this, but Galen would always shrug.

"It's in the past. We're here now." He would say, crooked grin and dimples showing.

"Now c'mon, my star. Let's go play." Galen said brightly, pulling Jumin along. He and Galen were at an amusement park today. Any discomfort created by his casual outfit was put at ease by Galen's hand in his.

When Jumin had admitted that he'd never ridden a rollercoaster before, Galen seemed to take personal affront.

"Even when I was with Yaya there was a shitty little place on the pier." He grinned before whispering conspiratorial. "Me and the other kids would sneak in sometimes."

Needless to say, they didn't sneak in today. The first coaster they had ridden was a calmer one. "No loops or twists" Galen had promised him with a wink.

The ride had been... exhilarating. The wind through his hair and the speed of the coaster had given Jumin a giddy feeling. When they'd gotten off the coaster Jumin could feel Galen's eyes on him.

"Is everything okay?" Jumin asked. Galen blinked in surprise, his face flushing and he scratched his nose.

"It's just. You looked so happy. It was cute." Jumin felt his face flush in return and he took Galen's hand without a word, the giddiness from the coaster returning. Galen was the only one that made him feel this way. Made him feel cute.
