I’m Calling It Now…

Y’all out here writing these sweet and fluffy fics about a rich and loving Harry Castillo like he’s the “unicorn” they make him out to be in the Materialist trailer.

The trailer continuously emphaszies how he’s the perfect catch. Almost too perfect. I’m calling it now. There is something WRONG with him. I don’t know what it is - maybe he’s a con artist, an identity thief, or he has someone locked in his basement. I’m not sure…but I feel like a major twist is coming.

Or, it’s the only logical explanation my brain can conjure up to justify that someone would choose Chris over Pedro. Whatever… I’m sticking with it.

I’m mean look at this face. It just screams SNEAKY LIAR. 👀

Adding...maybe his name really is Randy. Maybe Harry is his fake name. The one that he stole from the guy that's locked in his basement. Also, as @iknowisoundcrazy kindly pointed out, it's an A24 movie. They aren't exactly known for sweet and fluffy happily ever after type movies. 👀

EDIT: I feel I need to clarify. I obviously took the unhinged route on this. My point is…he will obviously have some type of major flaw. No one is perfect. It will probably be some stereotypical boring rich man character flaw that they do in all these movies like being emotionally constipated or he doesn’t know how to make time for anything other than work. I don’t really think he has someone in the basement. That would be a fun twist though. 😅

Not that any of this matters…I still wouldn’t turn him away.

Sigh…another reason a03 pisses me off. 😒

AO3 has been scraped, once again.

As of the time of this post, AO3 has been scraped by yet another shady individual looking to make a quick buck off the backs of hardworking hobby writers. This Reddit post here has all the details and the most current information. In short, if your fic URL ends in a number between 1 and 63,200,000 (inclusive), AND is not archive locked, your fic has been scraped and added to this database.

I have been trying to hold off on archive locking my fics for as long as possible, and I've managed to get by unscathed up to now. Unfortunately, my luck has run out and I am archive locking all of my current and future stories. I'm sorry to my lovelies who read and comment without an account; I love you all. But I have to do what is best for me and my work. Thank you for your understanding.

WIP Wednesday

Nerdie has WIPs!!! What else is new! 🤭 I dropped a modern Din and Benny series yesterday. There’s an Ezra interlude today. I’m also starting a Frankie Series because I didn’t like my old one and I had a spark of inspiration (THOTS) thanks to @rhoorl and @mysterious-moonstruck-musings ❤️❤️

WIP one: Chapter two of “This is the Neighborhood Din.”

“I’m Din. Your aunt, Ms. Harris has been so welcoming to me and my son Grogu. It’s our first day here. Pleasure to meet you Sierra.”

He is taller and broader up close and his hands are….this man appears to be massive in every sense. Even his voice feels like it’s wrapping around me. Am I okay? My shorts are halfway in my crotch and I know my eyes are puffy and red along with my entire face. This is one of the days, I wish I had more melanin so everything from earlier in the day wouldn’t be on my damn face.

FYI for chapter two, pay special attention to the warnings! Some will be in bold.

WIP two: Chapter 5 of “Weddings 101 with Dieter”

“You know damn well I’m not. Dieter, can we move to the bed now?” Feeling the rumble both in his chest and against her skin as he released a purr from her touch, she gasped.

“Give me one more thing.” He whispered as he tugged her dress down and moved the both of them forward toward the mirror only a few feet away, “Well, two things.” Dieter crouched down and slowly peeled her panties down.

WIP three: Section one of “Only Parts of you Mr. Morales.” (I guess I’ll call them sections? I didn’t number them. 😋 They’ll be ficlets, I think.)

While skillfully using his fingers inside of her core, the index finger of his opposite hand is in her oral sleeve for her to suck on. His thick digit is on her tongue, so she does what he wants and closes her lips around it. Frankie’s finger presses on her tongue while she takes it deeper along with a second finger. Whimpering after his fingers finish with her folds and wet canal.

Mysty and Jess, I used the special term. 😉

So…thanks happened. Thots happened. Nerdie happened. This is what we have. 👀

I don’t really have a good answer to this. I usually start with a scene or an idea and build from it. I’ll start an outline with all the highlights of things that I know I want to happen (scenes, quotes, etc). If research is needed, I’ll then fill in important details on the outline after researching. And then I just sort of start writing and figure how to get from one point to another as I go. Given that most of my fics have been pretty lengthy, I don’t know how I haven’t written myself into a corner yet. 😅

So yeah, I wing a lot of it and make it up as I go aside from the main points. I do love me a good outline though. It helps a lot.

Hello, I was wandering if anyone had tips on writing a series? How do you all plan and write each chapter? My problem is I don’t know how to pace it because I don’t want to drag it out or make it seem rushed. I also have trouble with planning what is gonna happen along the storyline. I would really appreciate anyone’s advice because I would love to start posting works on here. Thank You. 😊
