Since the middle of the war, we have had to flee our home in Khan Yunis to the supposed safe zone in Rafah but unfortunately, this was just the beginning. We were displaced four times in the same southern region, to escape the death that always surrounds us. At first, we fled to an UNRWA school in Al-Shaboura camp until we had to move to another area. Maraj was our next destination, so we fled to an UNRWA school, where we were staying in a tent, which resulted in the killing of 7 civilians. We had to move again to a tent in Al-Mawasi, but the scarcity of clean water and the spread of epidemics and diseases forced us to move again to an UNRWA school in the Khan Yunis area until now.

UNRWA has provided shelter to hundreds of displaced families over the past nine months in schools that have become vital community centres, providing shelter to thousands of individuals trapped in the southern region. Women and children sleep inside the classrooms, and men sleep outside in tents set up in the courtyard. Our tents have been flooded by rainstorms, and it is very difficult to take care of our basic needs. And now the suffering is in the extreme heat and insects I had many goals for this new year. I was going to achieve my ambitions and succeed in my work, but the war on Gaza stopped me from all the things I had hoped for.

After the destruction of my house, I had to borrow money from a friend to take my autistic child after his mental and health condition deteriorated and to go to the Arab Republic of Egypt, leaving behind my husband and my family in danger in Gaza, and they are in dire need of help to escape the scourge of war. Please, I urge you to share the link to the fundraiser to support their evacuation. Every share is important and participation is for the sake of my child and my family. I need to treat him and enter special centers, but they are expensive. Help me save them all. Thank you for your kindness.

the nabi yahya (prophet john) mosque/maqām in sebastia, palestine. it stands on a site identified since byzantine times to be where john the baptist's body was buried by his followers. now the main mosque of sebatia, the current structure was originally a crusader church built on top of a byzantine tomb for john along with jewish prophets elisha and obadiah. it was modified into a mosque on the order of saladin after his defeat of the crusaders in the battle of hattin in 1187.

The ground aid reaching the north of the Gaza Strip is very, very minimal. It is not enough for anyone.

This assistance comes from two main routes: firstly, Salah Al-Din Street, where there is a roundabout constructed by Kuwait, so it is named Kuwait Roundabout. The other location is the Sea Street at the Al-Nablusi Junction, named after a sweet shop opened by a freed prisoner from the West Bank in the Gaza Strip.

Hungry people gather at these two spots (Kuwait Roundabout and Nablusi Roundabout) hoping to get any food. Bombing of these gatherings of hungry people has become a daily routine practiced by the occupation and witnessed by the international community on their screens.

Hunger will ravage all the inhabitants of northern Gaza. The aid is too little. The cost of a meal could mean certain death.

Help the people of the north; do not leave them prey to hunger, bombing, and disease.

Doctors will die. The nurses there will die. And the world will witness the largest number of victims of hunger in the coming days if you do not act today to save us. We will all die.
