Summary:
Awareness took hold of Shuri. She stepped back, cheeks hot. Mutual admiration between kingdoms was one thing.
"He took the paper in his hand that he was drawing before - “I have experienced a lot of things in life. Though there was nothing new left for me in this world. I was wrong. You turned my world upside down, Princess. You made me think about the past, appreciate the present, and gave me hope for the future, even if you might not be in it the way I wish to be. I’ll try, but you will be the most beautiful battle I have ever lost.” - Namor said and let go of the paper where he has drawn Shuri’s eyes. "
I’m unsure if I have any Isipili series readers on here but I added a fifth what-if fic since I’m almost done with Igama 🥰 It’s a bit lighter than the others (although there is still some darkness there, I find it more on the humorous side majority of the time) if you read part one, I hope you enjoy!
(Not) Patiently waiting for one specific fic where Namor and Shuri get married to better secure the alliance between Talokan and Wakanda, and despite the evident tension because of everything that went down, everyone can see something is up between the two of them, no matter how many times Shuri keeps saying that it's just for politics, nothing more and she feels for him nothing but annoyance and disdain
Namor does zero-to-nothing to correct anyone and is just very unsubtle about how he truly feels about her (whipped, absolutely whipped, he literally has two thoughts: his people and the princess)
Except that there is an attack and Shuri goes absolute apeshit because she doesn’t know where he is, if if he's hurt, and refuses to calm down until he shows up again because no, the missile barely grazed him, he is fine
Then she proceeds to: smack him, yell at him and finally hug him tightly while muttering under her breath that that was so stupid, never do that again (not necessarily in this order)
Warnings: PWP, mentions of violence; blood; biting, scratching, choking; edging; oral sex (M and F receiving)
A/N: Well… here’s my first lil contribution to this amazing ship 🙈 So nervous, but I hope its somewhat enjoyable. Please like, reblog, comment, etc. if you enjoy!

She could snap his neck like this, if she wanted to. Or crush his larynx. Or rip out his jugular. It would be so easy.
Once upon a time, it had been all she’d thought about. Her mind conjures up a moment in the not-so-distant past when it was a spear she’d held at his exposed throat, instead of her hand.
There was a time she would’ve burned the world, would’ve crushed him beneath her feet and burned him right along with it. But she knows now, that she could no more do that than she could claw her own chest open and crush her own beating heart into dust.
“I will ask you something, and I want you to be honest with me.”
“I always speak the truth, Princess.”
“Not really. You didn’t tell me the truth when I ask you why are you here this late. But anyway, would you kill me if we didn’t run away?”
Shuri’s heart started beating fast, she didn’t even know why. Namor heard the change in her heartbeat.
“Did I leave that impression on you? Do you think that’s why I took you to Talokan? You are the only person from the surface world to have ever seen Talokan and meet my people. Why do you think that was?"
I think everyone knows about the whole situation with Tenoch, no matter which side everyone is on and what they want to believe. That is also good. Everyone has freedom of speech, which they should live out as they see fit. I don't want to participate in the discussion about who is telling the truth and who is not.
I stay out of it completely, but I would like to say that, as a fanfiction writer, it is really sad for me that so many who previously actively commented and supported me on my Namor fanfiction have simply stopped and disappeared. None of the writers were or are responsible for any of this. They write out of their passion and there is nothing reprehensible about that. Some have deleted their fanfictions for various reasons or stopped writing. Either because they have turned away from the fandome or fear a shitstorm if they continue to write, but the FFs have nothing to do with the situation, they are works/books about a fictional character that is not the real person, it is a story the writer created and is theirs. No one has to support Tenoch or anything like that, but be so fair all this not to refer to the writer or the FF you liked until recently. As I said, I'm not going to choose a side of "truth" as I personally know nothing about what really happened between the two except for the things that have been made public, as has everyone else of this fandom.
An accident on the way to Haiti leaves Shuri descending to the ocean floor where her enemy-turned-ally rescues her and takes her back to Talokan for healing. When he discovers that she has no recollection of her former life, he takes this opportunity as a second chance -
For support of his original plan to burn the world.
For a previously interrupted ceremony to take place.
A/N: It’s been a long time… I shouldn’t have left you… without a dope beat to— ok, ok, all jokes aside, I am INCREDIBLY sorry that it has taken me so long to update. I planned to post this chapter months ago, and then my mental health and a bunch of other things just piled on top of me. But my love for these two has only grown, and I hope that this chapter will at least be worth the long wait. Thank you to everyone who read chapter one, and thank you to everyone who is still with me 💜 Please like, reblog, kudos, comment, and share; I appreciate it so so much! I love y’all!

“You’re not as slick as you think,” Shuri mutters, still facing away from him.
Namor can practically hear her eyes rolling, and he can’t help but breathe out a low chuckle. “I never can fool my Queen, can I?”
“And yet you still try.”
“I enjoy a challenge.”
“Clearly.”
The annoyance bleeding through her clipped tone reignites the simmering hunger in his belly. Before she can protest, he reaches out, slides his right hand across her silken, bare skin to hook around her waist. A muffled squeal sounds in the back of her throat when he drags her toward him. It’s unbearably endearing.
“What gave me away?” he murmurs in her ear.
A shudder rolls through her slender frame, and he reflexively tightens his hold around her. “Your breathing,” Shuri whispers, her own breath stuttering at the roughness of his fingers. “I heard it change the second I walked through the door.”
“If you knew I was only pretending to sleep,” he rumbles, teeth grazing the soft flesh of her earlobe, “why didn’t you say anything?”
Shuri hums, and she finally turns her head to face him. The sly curve of her mouth as she flits her gaze down the length of his body threatens to stop his heart in its tracks. He’s almost forgotten his hushed question when she meets his eyes again and parts her full lips.
