Runnan stole all my Lavender Nankhatai biscuits and refuses to give it back
He ate seven boxes of my Lavender biscuits. SEVEN
Oh no! I'm so sorry, he's never like this normally, but since he got out of the coin he's had such an appetite!
[Runaan in the background: extremely messy chomping noises]
Ahaha, oh dear. So, how can I make this right? If you have a recipe, I will happily make you a bunch of Lavender Nankhatai biscuits to replace the ones Runaan has, ah-
[more munching elf noises, loud burp]
-helped himself to. Or, if you prefer, I can make you some Moonberry Surprise? As a thank-you-for-your-understanding gift, between friends.

*Gifts a box of Lavender Nankhatai biscuits*
here you go, here are some cookies belonging to my homeland. These cookies are known to be sweet, buttery cardamom infused biscuits.
Let me know if you like them <33
These are extremely pretty biscuits, little shadow. *noms gently*
These are as good as moonberry surprise! *claps hand over mouth* Who said that.
Thank you for this gift. I won't get in trouble if I... have another... will I? *several more vanish mysteriously from the box and disappear into secret assassin pockets* ...For later. In case. Of... things.

Rose/Ronny for that WLW
I just want more content with them -Buster
"What...is it?"
Rose grinned over at her girlfriend like the Grinch Who Stole Christmas and continued nibbling away at her own freshly baked cookie, the shape and size something completely foreign to Ronny, but smelling heavenly.
"Charbi Nankhatai. My version of a sugar cookie from overseas I tried in India. Though you'd never have this over there."
Ronny had already devoured three of the cookies after the first nibble, a bit like a python swallowing down Guinea Pigs one after another, barely managing her next words as she swallowed and picked up a fourth, "Why is that, gorgeous?"
"Because cooking with bacon grease is frowned upon."

Sharing Is Caring

Prompt: 21
Words: 404
The last time you two had an uninterrupted holiday was almost a year ago. You two were pretty big workaholics even if it didn’t seem like it, so it was finally time to get away. And you did, hours on a flight to a house brought by the both of you just before starting at the protocol.
It’s sat around mostly unused, a few family and friends have been able to say for a bit. So the place wasn’t the messist but didn’t seem like home, and Varun wanted to change that. His idea was baking, specifically Nankhatai cookies. Having been raised with them, but there was a lack over the years due to work getting in the way.
So the first thing you did when you landed was go to the store, he walked ahead with its recipe pulled up on his device. Leading you through the store to grab each ingredient, flour, sugar and everything else, along with a few snacks.
After you two returned home and brought everything in, he was quick to start. It seemed quick but actually took hours, as you both got caught up. In both making the cookies and spending time with each other, music was played causing you to get distracted every so often.
But before you knew it the kitchen was a mess, in ingredients, wrapping and cookies. They covered a good amount of the counter space, only now making you realise the amount you made. Which was too much.
“I think we made too much…”
Your words had him looking over while placing the final tray onto the cooling rack.
“Ah! Maybe we did…”
He started to clean up and you walked away, searching through various rooms. Finding a few items left behind, soon seeing just the right thing. A 30 pack of cookie boxes, most likely they forgot to make them. So they worked perfectly.
“Varun, found these!”
Looking over as you entered the kitchen again, seeing you place the pack onto a clean patch of the counter. He reached out and grabbed one, taking his time to put it together.
“I see, we can give them out!”
And that's what you did. Spending even more time in the kitchen, packaging the cookies. Labelling them before setting them aside, waiting until your holiday ends to hand them out. Until then the rest of the day was spent sitting together, doing anything else relaxing.

You can choose just physics bio and maths? Here it’s like pcm or PCB or pcmb or social studies or commerce. Yes.
So I have pcm—for jee (competitive exam for maths) and qualifying through JEE Mains and adv gets you to IIT
For bio we have NEET—yes. So NEET obv focus on bio and all so their physics moderation is relatively less—as for us, it’s like💀 but yes and so true. Academic validation>>>>
My maths wala sir likes me(I think) like def thinks I’m smart- because like always give answers jaldi and all<3
And I’ve not heard of it💀? And my nani ka place ka best imartis fr lmao like. It’s not the orange wala tho—I don’t like that, it’s tad bit diff from the usual kind? But what do I know waha pe kya hai
ooooooo that sounds really interesting lmfao but lowkey limiting idk is it just me? im pretty indecisive so im like so grateful my fam put me in a british curriculum school and our board give us freedom to choose between the subjects (as much freedom as they can lol bc at the end of the day we have to apply to unis with relevant subjects lol but yuh) i took bio maths and phy bc i wanna apply abroad and 3 subjects are enough and those subjects gave me freedom to choose whatever major i want (im still debating between neuroscience and comp sci)
i was deffo my bio sir's fav i think. my phy sir was lowkey a misogynist <\333
omgggg i will actually kidnap u and feed u nankhatais how can u not know them!!! they are like biscuits and they are so velvetyyyyy they literally melt on ur tongue like sooper biscuits idk if u tried those but yuh and they are like sweet but not like jalebi so its like a perfect mix!! u should look for them next time in a sweet shop u will deffo like it i promy 💞💞

what flours etc do you keep on hand??
Iiii always have doves Farm all purpose gf flour and self raising flour, which is a very British answer, but good gf all purpose is good.
I also have masa harina and a tortilla press always! Ditto buckwheat flour for blinis, piadine and The Good Sachertorte. Almond flour for california orange cake and I would say Macarons if I was going to lie about my baking prowess....its not for Macarons.
Teff for injera when I'm making ethiopian food (rarely), gram flour for bhaji and nankhatai, a gf hawaiian mochi cake mix from california which is so tasty, and doves Farm white bread flour for my frequently unsuccessful bread forays

What does the nankhatai cookie taste like? What does it have in it? Mmm cookies in Chai tea, that might not be bad
there are different variations of nankhatai!! some have a cocoa swirl in the batter, some have a maraschino cherry on top, some have cashews or pecans on top, or they can be plain. I'm sure there are other variations, those are just the ones I'm used to
