Joke's on you, Mike Joy! I looked it up before you said it that Clint Bowyer's 300th start was a 23rd place finish at Kansas in early 2014 where Jeff Gordon won! Ha!

if any of you racing fans who don’t normally watch nascar have ever thought ‘hmm, i wonder what nascar is all about,’ turn on tonight’s race!

a big losing point of nascar is that their commentary is often not welcoming for newbies and it’s very hard to really understand what’s going on aside from “car go fast and left” - i’ve been running into this problem myself, and have had to rely on some awesome people here on tumblr to figure stuff out (hi nascar tumblr! hope you’re doing well <3)

but this broadcast on amazon prime is actually really good! it’s informative, the commentators actually like one another, and it’s good racing tonight!

i swear i’m not being paid to promote this, i just think it’s actually the best form of nascar broadcast i’ve seen (in my short time watching nascar)
