The drama I went through at church last month I recently realized was tremendously similar to what I went through in my gender crisis several years ago, complete with shattering despair and anxiety within and harrowing repercussions to relationships without.

It proved to me how enormously important it is to be fully true to yourself in this life, and also how imperative it is to have people around you who will accept you as you are, even when you are flailing around trying to find your footing.

There are those who will always push back and relationships that will be lost but there are in fact also those who know and can see what you are reaching for.

My ask box is always open to talk about these things, whether gender or sexuality or faith.
