Can we talk about Crowley and his crying out to God?

Crowley begins to show his vulnerability. The stress of the idea that Armageddon is actually going to happen, and his fight with Aziraphale has him exhausted.

He ends up crying out to God, asking what he did that was so wrong? Asking questions? Having a different opinion? Telling God, I only hung out with Lucifer and his demons looking to others, trying to find the answers. Wondering why he was cast out so coldly.

He begs God not to test them to the point of destruction. He’s begging God for compassion for Humanity. He understands what it is to be shown no compassion or unconditional love by a parent. He knows ultimately that the Almighty created everything and is in all respects the parent.

Crowley at that moment shows more humanity than even Aziraphale has ever shown. ❤️💔

Alice Nutter

Alice Nutter was accused of attending a witch meeting on Good Friday in 1612. She insisted on her innocence while the other accused pled guilty. She was hung alongside them on August 20, 1612. A statue of her was erected in 2012 in Roughlee and she is also a featured character in Neil Gaimen's novel "Good Omen's."
