Tumblr media
During the middle of the night, you almost always find the best comfort in the midnight breeze, the way the winds caress gently upon your skin and there’s nothing other than the forest-life around you to catch in your ears.
It’s why, more often than not, you find yourself sat in the middle of your tent, weaving random little things as you kept your mind occupied. Sometimes you struggled to succumb to sleep when your thoughts were so raging, and sometimes you sought out the idea of staying up later just so you could experience this.
There was something about being completely free with it all, too, of being vulnerable. You shared your tent with your mate, Neteyam, and after being mated now for years, there was nothing that couldn’t be shared between the two of you, nothing that could stop the love for one another.
So, going to sleep naked, and waking up and completing small chores before your day truly began, was normal for the two of you. It brought about a vulnerability that could only be shared between two mates than irrevocably loved one another. There were no fears, no insecurities - just pure, gentle love.
And, now, as time seemed to slow down just a little, soft caresses against your skin whilst you smoothly hummed your songcord to yourself, you didn’t take notice of the other noises shifting behind you.
Except, when a small grunt sounded out, extremely close to you, and then an entire figure sitting directly behind you, pulling you flush against his front did you realise what was happening. Neteyam had woken up and spotted your disappearance. He wasn’t clingy, per say, but one of his favourite things would always be to fall asleep with you tangled in his embrace, so unbelievably close, you simply couldn’t be two separate people.
That’s why you’re not entirely shocked when he presses you up against him, forcing his face between the dip of your neck, inhaling deeply. A soft chuckle escapes your lips at your mate’s antics, loving the feel of him being so clingy. You bring your hand up to caress the side of his face, inadvertently bringing him closer, whilst his own arms wrap themselves tight around your waist.
“I didn’t wake you, did I?” You question, knowing that such a situation has occurred before. You hope it was the reason this time, as Neteyam needs to be up fairly early in the morning to meet his father.
A sigh breathes against the skin of your neck, sending shivers down your spine. “No,” he pauses, no doubt too sleepy to really understand his surroundings, “I missed you…”
His words resonated within you and cut deep within your core, wanting to tattoo them on your skin and never forget them. Still, even when they were so incredibly loving, you couldn’t help but laugh at him. “I haven’t been out of bed for long.”
“Still,” he’s adamant, squeezing you tighter within his embrace. Then, his fingers start dancing against your skin, sending gentle patterns along your stomach. They travel higher and higher at an agonisingly slow pace, until they’re so close to your chest, you can practically feel his phantom touches.
For a moment, you think he’s just teasing you like he loves to do to you, but it’s obvious how truly sleepy he is when he takes both of your boobs within his grasps, and squeezes them. Before you can help it, a soft moan falls from your lips, closing your eyes in bliss at his sudden actions. “You have the most perfect tits.”
His voice is nothing but husky and guttural now, full of both love and lust all for you. Your insides are churning, a knot that feels so unbelievably amazing forming at the bottom of your stomach. So badly do you want to give into him, but you know there’s a possibility he’ll regret it in the morning if he doesn’t get enough sleep.
“‘Teyam…” you start, wanting to sound confident and strong, but it comes out like you’re moaning his name. It’s obvious he’s enjoying himself, too, by the way he squeezes you tighter and a low growl sounds from the back of his throat. You swallow deeply, “‘Teyam, you need to be up in the morning…”
“That’s okay,” he whispers, now starting to pepper sultry kisses against the skin of your neck. “I don’t mind being a little late if it means I get to devour you whole, yawne (beloved)…”
Another moan sounds from your lips, and that’s when he knows you’re putty in his hands.

Helloooo
Can i get a neteyam x human fem reader one? Reader has piercings. Doesn't matter if it's belly piercing or tongue. Whatever you want. But Neteyam is quite fascinated and amused by it and playfully pulls at it
Tumblr media
Title: Shiny Thing
Pairing: Neteyam x Human!Fem!Reader
Word Count: ~3,700
Genre: Flirtation, slow-burn tension, hurt/comfort (light), mutual pining, emotional intimacy, a little heat
Rating: T / Teen (for romantic tension, suggestive dialogue, emotional vulnerability, and light physical intimacy)
Aged-Up Character: Neteyam is aged up (18+) for the purposes of this story.
Don’t like, don’t read.
Synopsis:
It starts with heat and sweat and a teasing glance toward your belly button. You’re just trying to survive a broken AC on a planet that doesn’t let up but Neteyam shows up with curiosity in his eyes and a little too much focus for your already-flustered brain.
Author’s Note:
This one was such a fun blend of softness, curiosity, and tension. I wanted to explore the idea of cultural fascination turning into something deeper how attraction can grow from little moments of connection and shared vulnerability. Neteyam is gentle, curious, a little bold when it coun
Pandora heat was no joke.
The air shimmered with it heavy and damp, clinging to your skin as you dragged another supply crate into place outside the lab. The AC had been down for three days straight, and even in the shade, sweat trickled down your spine, soaking through your tank top. Your exopack fogged slightly with each breath, blurring your vision just enough that you didn’t notice the silent shadow stepping out from the treeline.
“You look like you’re dying.”
You yelped and whirled around, nearly dropping the crate. Neteyam stood a few paces away, grinning, head tilted in amusement.
“Don’t sneak up on people like that!” you gasped, pressing a hand to your chest.
He chuckled. “Maybe you should listen better.”
You narrowed your eyes at him, wiping your forehead with the back of your hand. “Easy for you to say. You’re, like, Na’vi forest royalty. I’m just a sweaty human trying not to melt.”
His golden eyes scanned you slowly, a flicker of interest in his gaze especially as your shirt lifted a little when you bent for another crate. He stilled. His focus sharpened.
“…What is that?”
You followed his gaze, confused then realized. “Oh. My piercing?”
He stepped closer, curiosity lighting his face. “You have metal… inside your skin?”
“It’s not just random metal,” you said, laughing. “It’s jewelry. Decorative.”
Neteyam crouched slightly, studying the silver barbell in your belly button like it was some rare artifact. “Why would you… do this to yourself?”
“I don’t know. I liked it,” you shrugged. “I was sixteen and thought it was cool. Still kinda do.”
He tilted his head, clearly still puzzled. The without warning he reached out and tugged it gently between two fingers.
Your breath caught. “Hey!”
Neteyam laughed, amused by your reaction. “You let someone stab you with metal. For decoration?”
“Well, when you say it like that, it sounds weird,” you muttered, brushing his hand away.
“It is weird,” he teased, though his eyes were still fixed on it. “But… interesting.”
“Humans do all kinds of weird things,” you said with a smirk.
He looked up at you, something thoughtful flickering behind his expression. “Apparently.”
Then, quieter: “…It suits you.”
You blinked. “Wait .. what?”
He shrugged, as if it were nothing, but his smile lingered, warm and just a little smug. “The little shiny thing. It catches the light. Like you.”
Oh.
Your brain short-circuited for a second.
“That was… oddly smooth, forest boy.”
“I’m learning,” he said, voice low.
He straightened, turning as if to go but not before his fingers ghosted across your stomach, just beside the piercing. Not accidental. A brief, deliberate brush of warm knuckles against overheated skin.
The touch sent a spark straight up your spine.
You tried to play it cool. “Next time I’ll show you my ears. I’ve got three more piercings there.”
Neteyam raised an eyebrow, clearly intrigued. “Are humans made of metal underneath?”
You grinned. “Nope. But maybe I’ll keep you guessing.”
He flashed you a sharp, playful smile. “I like guessing.”
And with that, he turned and slipped back into the forest leaving your heart racing, your skin tingling, and the heat suddenly feeling a lot less like the worst part of your day.
Shiny thing, indeed.
You thought the moment might end there. A one-off flirtation. A harmless brush of skin in the heat.
But two days later, Neteyam was back.
You were sorting medical kits on the lab’s porch when his shadow passed over you tall, quiet, unmistakable.
“Came to guess some more?” you asked without looking up.
“I came to learn,” he said, voice rich with amusement. “You offered to show me your ears.”
You blinked, startled and maybe just a little pleased that he remembered.
“Well,” you said, sitting back on your heels, “I did say that.”
Neteyam crouched beside you, far too close for your brain to function properly. His scent—woodsmoke, sun-warmed leather, something distinctly Na’vi settled in your senses before you could brace for it.
“Turn your head,” he said.
“Excuse me?” you said, arching a brow.
His lips quirked. “So I can see.”
“Oh.” You tried not to sound breathless. “Right.”
You tilted your head, brushing your hair aside to expose your ear. Three tiny hoops gleamed along the cartilage, their silver catching the afternoon sun.
Neteyam leaned in closer than necessary, if you were being honest. You could feel his breath warm against your skin as he examined each one, gaze intent.
“You really like shiny things,” he murmured.
You swallowed. “I guess I do.”
One of his fingers rose, hovering just beside your ear. He didn’t touch just traced the air near your skin, following the curve of the jewelry.
“These are smaller than the one on your stomach,” he said softly.
“They hurt less too,” you said. “Not that it stopped me.”
“You’re very strange,” he said, but his voice was oddly fond.
“I’ve been told,” you smirked.
He paused, still close enough that his hair brushed your shoulder. “Do humans do this to make themselves more beautiful?”
You blinked. “What?”
He pulled back just slightly, eyes meeting yours. “The metal. The piercings. Is it for beauty?”
You hesitated, suddenly aware of how fast your heart was beating. “Sometimes. Sometimes it’s just for fun. Or to feel… like yourself.”
Neteyam considered that, head tilted.
“You do not need them,” he said quietly. “But they are… interesting.”
Your cheeks heated. “You’re kind of bad at compliments.”
“I am learning,” he said again, with a smile that was all teeth and confidence.
You rolled your eyes, laughing trying to shake off the way your pulse leapt every time he leaned in. “Anything else you want to examine while you’re here? I’ve got a nose ring, too.”
Neteyam’s brows lifted, clearly delighted. “You’re full of surprises.”
You leaned in this time, chin tilted. “You have no idea.”
For a second, something charged hung between you heat, interest, tension that hadn’t quite decided what it wanted to be yet.
Then, mercifully or maddeningly, a voice crackled over your headset, asking for help unloading more supplies.
You sighed, standing. “Duty calls.”
Neteyam rose with you, lingering just a little longer than he needed to. “Next time,” he said, with that same low promise.
You gave him a look over your shoulder as you walked away. “Better be ready. I’ve got a lot of shiny secrets.”
He grinned. “I’m looking forward to finding them.”
And somehow, that felt like more than just a joke.
You hadn’t expected to see him that night.
The lab had finally cooled enough for you to sleep, and you’d slipped out to stargaze just you, the still of the forest, and a ratty old blanket laid over the warm roof of a rover.
You lay back with your exopack set beside you, breathing the filtered air through the thin mask fitted to your nose. The sky above was impossibly vast, stars scattered like dust across velvet. Peaceful.
And then, a quiet rustle.
“Shouldn’t you be patrolling or something?” you asked without opening your eyes.
A low chuckle. “You sound disappointed.”
You smiled. “Maybe a little.”
Neteyam dropped down beside you, his long limbs folding with casual grace. He tilted his head back to study the stars, the soft bioluminescence of his freckles flickering like they were trying to echo the constellations.
You were quiet for a moment.
Then: “So. You came to see more shiny things?”
“Maybe,” he said, voice lower now, almost thoughtful. “Maybe I came to see you.”
That threw your heart into a tailspin.
You tried to cover it with a dry laugh. “Careful. That almost sounded sincere.”
He didn’t smile this time. Just looked at you.
“I am sincere.”
Something in his voice quiet, sure made your stomach flutter.
You sat up slowly, hugging your knees. “Okay, forest boy. You want to see another one?”
His ears twitched, eyes narrowing playfully. “Another what?”
“Piercing,” you said. “My last one. It’s… not usually on display.”
Neteyam blinked, clearly intrigued—and possibly a little wary. “Where?”
You smirked, savoring the rare moment of him being off balance. “Tongue.”
You stuck it out just slightly, revealing a small silver ball resting at the center.
His eyes widened. “Why.. how does that work?”
“Very carefully,” you said, laughing. “And no, it didn’t hurt that much. Yes, it made eating annoying for a week. And yes, some people think it’s hot.”
His gaze flicked to your mouth and stayed there a little too long.
“Do you think it is?” he asked.
Your pulse stuttered. “I don’t know. Do you?”
Neteyam didn’t answer right away. He reached out, fingertips brushing your jaw. His touch was featherlight, a question unspoken.
“Everything you do surprises me,” he said quietly. “You’re so small. Soft. But you wear these things like armor.”
You blinked, caught off guard by the shift in tone.
“They’re not armor,” you said, more softly. “Not really.”
“No?” he asked.
You shook your head. “They’re just… me. Pieces of me I chose. I didn’t get a say in much when I was younger. But this? This was mine.”
Neteyam studied you like he was trying to learn a new language written only on your skin.
“I like that,” he said finally. “That you chose it.”
You looked at him, heart thudding loud in your chest. “Do you want to touch it?”
He blinked, startled and blushed. His ears flicked back and then forward again.
“I meant the piercing, Neteyam,” you teased, laughing.
He groaned and dropped his face into his hands, laughing too now. “You are terrible.”
“I am,” you agreed. “But you’re curious. Admit it.”
“I am many things,” he said, recovering with a grin. “Curious is one of them.”
You stuck your tongue out again, letting the little silver bead catch the moonlight.
Neteyam leaned in, closer than he had ever been, his eyes locked on yours.
“May I?” he asked.
The word sent a shiver down your spine not because of the piercing, but because of the way he said it. Gentle. Reverent.
You nodded.
His fingers brushed your chin, steadying you as his thumb traced your lower lip. Then, slowly, carefully, he touched the piercing with his thumb cool skin meeting cool metal.
You swore the world tilted.
He pulled back after a moment, but the air between you stayed charged.
“That…” he said slowly, voice low, “was interesting.”
You swallowed hard. “Glad I could expand your cultural knowledge.”
He tilted his head. “I’m not sure that’s the only thing you’re expanding.”
You stared. “Neteyam.”
He smiled, wicked and warm.
“Still terrible,” he added.
But he didn’t move away.
And neither did you.

I can’t stop thinking about how neteyam n lo’ak would be with pregnant reader☹️ like they’d be the best mates ever, holding your stomach when it gets too heavy, giving you food and water, giving you scalp massages, bathing with you, whatever you need they gotchu.
But obviously, they still have duties to fulfill since they’re sons of the olo’eyktan, so whenever they get too busy that leaves you all alone. And when they finally come home, whew. Your clingy ass is all over them. Hugging them, holding their hands while smothering your face into them, whining about how much you missed them and how mean they are for leaving you by yourself.
Neteyam melts at your clingy demeanor, feeding into it with kisses and responses like “I know, babygirl. But we’re here now, do you need anything?” And you would just respond by hugging his large frame, your belly preventing you from pressing up against him more than you are.
But Lo’ak would just teases you, saying shit like “awh, what a needy little baby. Can’t leave our girl alone for a couple hours? Poor girl.” While he places his big hand on your head as you hug teyam. But all that gets from you is a little huff of ‘leave me alone..’ as you shove your face into teyams chest more. And ofc his smart ass js says sum “yeah, we did, mama. And look how that left you.” With a shit eating grin on both of their faces, and even a lil smile on yours.
All bc of this ask😭 ty @aperiraa for sending that in😩

"Sugar, Honey, Iced Tea
Bumble-bee on the scene.
Yeah, I'd give up my bakery to have a piece of your pie"
- See You Again, Tyler the Creator ft Kali Uchis
Life in the village is always busy. Constantly bustling with life and movement as everyone; human scientist, Avatar and Na’vi alike, rush to keep things afloat.
High Camp is so different then Home Tree had been, the rage of war adding a constant edge to long days and restless nights. You miss the comfort of a slow life, of hazy days down in the jungle. The jagged cliffs of the Hallelujah Mountains still don’t quite feel like home to you.
Still, you go about your daily duties.
Being a Pandoran raised human had always given you a different insight, the two massively different cultures you we’re brought up in clashing and mending to create a skill set that was like no other- it had taken many years of painful trial and error to find your place within the Omiticaya, but healing had always come naturally.
Both holistic and surgical alike. You’d spent years shadowing Mo’at and learning the ancient herbal ways of the people, while well as taking advantage of the many PHD toting scientist back at Hell’s Gate. Medicine had no boundaries, was a way for you to feel close to both sides of yourself. To broach the gap between human and clansman.
You find your skills being needed more than ever. The ever constant raids against the RDA means your hands are rarely idle, forever in movement as you tend to the wounded. Some days you sit in the big Healers Tent with Mo’at and the other Taskarem, and others you’re in the makeshift Medi Bay, which is really more of an Avatar Pod Trailer turned OR, with the handful of human surgeons.
The long hours spent on your feet leave you sore and exhausted, but you have to pull your weight.
Even if said weight is far heavier than usual as of late-
“Y/N” you’re broken out of your thoughts by Max- as he enters the trailer with a holo-tab in hand and a concerned look in his dark eyes “What are you still doing here?”
“I was just finishing up inventory- our antibiotic stock is back way up. Jake was right, those helicopter raids were more than worth it” you’d sorted out the tiny vials of vital medicine by hand, not wanting any to be misplaced or mislabeled.
“You don't think maybe you should head home?” He continues and you sigh.
You miss your tent, and the soft bed of furs that lay inside the secure warm flaps. And the man that waits for you inside of the patchwork leather walls-
“I’m fine” you assure. And really, you are.
It's a fact you have to keep reminding people of.
Yes, you’re as big as a Strumbeast, but you are no less competent. No less able bodied.
Pregnancy is one of the most natural parts of life, a base staple in all’s existence. There are plenty of pregnant Omiticaya women who were expected to play their roles, even as the battle raged outside the safety of the mountain cave system.
It was the nature of your pregnancy that was more…fragile then average. Inside your womb grew a child that would be the first of it’s kind. A scientific mystery: no one had even known it was possible for Na’vi and humans to procreate.
And yet all of the evidence now lies under your shirt. Your stomach round and pronounced, full of growing life.
Full of the love between you and the Olo’eyktan’s eldest son.
Neteyam had left his permanent mark on you. Had part of himself growing inside of you. The thoughts we’re enough to make your knees buckle if you focused on them too hard.
“You’ve been here since 6am, you really should get some rest. Take one of the empty bunks if you want. Have you checked your blood pressure-”
You’re a grown woman. You’re not going to huff and puff and roll your eyes, but fuck, do you want to.
Everyone was so overbearing lately.
Norm and Max we’re constantly breathing down your neck; “The baby has a different growth rate then a human child, we need to monitor the way that your body is responding” Followed closely by Jake who watches you with sharp eagle like eyes and Neytiri, who used to all but ignore your presence, constantly checking in on you throughout the day. Mo’at’s always poking and prodigy, and Kiri almost always has her hands on you in some way shape or form.
You are glad for the support, happy that this baby would be so loved.
But really, you missed being treated like the competent, independent woman you knew you we’re.
“My blood pressure is fine. I thought since we ruled out preeclampsia we weren’t going to worry about it anymore” you know that it’s not going to silence his worry, but still. You can try.
Max goes on one of his science mambo jumbo spiels, and by the end of it you’re waddling out of the lab and back to your hut, annoyed as shit but placating your pseudo father figure all the same. Only a month and a half mor of this and then things could go back to normal.
Everything had just…changed so quickly.
You 're a caretaker by nature. Caring for others is easy, feels right. You’d tucked the much older scientists into bed when you we’re just a pre-teen. Made dinners. Looked out for Spider and the other Sully’s-
And the role reversal still didn't quite sit right with you. Your control freak ways didn't do well with not being the one in charge- you’d been stripped of your title so to speak. You we’re supposed to relax into your new role, enjoy being doted over before the nine month’s we’re over.
You and Neteyam’s shared tent is in the centered in the cave, close to his families, but standing on its own. As private as anyone could get in the busy, close quartered camp. The walls of the hut are familiar, adorned with your combined belongings. Cozy and familiar.
You shimmy free of your confining bra, step out of your cargo pants, then toe off your boots, releasing your swollen sock covered feet with a groan before collapsing into your well loved bed, the soft blankets and familiar scent of your mate lulling you into a deep state of peace.
It’s kind of wild how quickly you can fall asleep these days. Growing a little person from scratch tends to burn a lot of energy and the moment you relax, you’re out like a light.
You don't wake up, even when the horns are sounded for the return of the War Party.
Not when Neteyam makes his way through the camp and enters the tent. He’s wearty, grime covered and hunched over. He only softens when he sees you, tucked safely, into his bed. Your eyes still closed and face still scrunched up as he strips out of his battle band and shin covers. He’s quiet, washing off with the large freshwater basin in the corner before making his way over to his much-missed bed mat.
It isn't until he's crawled under the blankets and wiggled his way as close to you as possible that you begin to stir. His large cat like snout nuzzles into the vulnerable crevice of your neck, chuffing hot breaths against the smooth skin.
You’re not upset at him for waking you up, a drowsy half alert smile stretches over your lips as your hands run up his strong back. Gently working the tense muscles.
He gets so greedy when he comes back from the War runs. He needs to be comforted, to be held and you are all too willing to comply.
Everyone else infantiles you now, and yeah, Neteyam could get a little intense and overprotective, but your relationship had always worked because you were the one person in all of Pandora that babied the future chief.
He was such a sweet man, with so much responsibility on his plate. You loved nothing more than holding him in your arms. Letting him release any and all tension because you had him. You, a tiny soft skinned human, were the barrier between him and the ruthless world.
You’d be such a great mother to his children. His hind brain purrs at the thought. That even through all of the controversy, he knows he’d chosen the right mate. Little and fierce, he hopes the baby is just like you.
“Are you okay?” You ask, tone hushed in the darkness of the tent. The only light coming from the small dying embers of the firepit in the center of the space. Hypnotic shadows dance along the canvas walls and Neteyam's breathing grows shallow as he sinks into it.
The way you smell. The way your heart beats, strong against his cheek. The way your plump body feels so good under his wandering hands. He hadn't been okay, just moments ago. He was delirious, so sick of the fighting that he felt ill with it.
But how could any of those bad feelings exist when he had you waiting for him? Ready to welcome him into your body, your heart, your mind. He doesn't think he could survive without knowing the solace of your love.
“I’m okay, narlor(beauty). Just missed you” he mutters, still trying to dig his face deeper into your skin. He wants to escape inside of you, you chuckle at his futile attempts to mend you both into one entity. His large palms rest against your bloated belly, tenderly and your heart flutters “Missed you both so much”
Being so loved is overwhelming.
You wouldn't have it any other way.
“I missed you, my sweet baby. I missed you all day” you assure him with the words you know he needs to hear. “Our son here thought it would be fun to jump on his sa’nok’s bladder all day. It was like was playing the wokau(pendulum drum) all day long- I spent hours in running back and forth to the bathroom”
Neteyam's laugh is deep and rich. Thoroughly pleased to listen to your stories of your day, eager to hear every minute detail. Desperate to drown out visions of blood and gun smoke with your voice.
“Ah, you have to be nice to your momma, little one” he chastises the bump, raising your shirt over your head, wanting that flimsy barrier gone. His lips trail over the tight skin of your bulging belly as he speaks to his child.
Your son, still safe inside your soft body, knows his fathers voice already. Recognizes that slightly accented cadence, and squirms inside of you happily.
Neteyam usually speaks strictly in Na’vi to your unborn child-
“He needs to know the language of our people, first and foremost”
-he’ll spend hours whispering his mother tongue into your flesh. It always leaves you boneless and shaking. Feeling so special and cared for. Na’vi, though your second language, is familiar to you. You’re fluent in the language- but fuck. The way your mate speaks it is the most beautiful thing. It’s musical, he tells sprawling stories with his colorful words.
There is one English he’s very fond of though. Every time it leaves his plush mouth it makes you grin, sharp. Knowingly.
“Are you gonna be nice to momma, Neteyam?” you question him after a while. His ears quirk, swiveling on his head and his tale flicks once, in obvious excitement.
You know what he’s wanted, ever since he woke you up by nuzzling at your chest. Ever since he peeled off your top and left your heavy breasts bare. Did he think you missed the way his golden gaze would flick to them, eyeing them hungrily.
He needs this as much as you do, but as usual, your sweet boy is too selfless to ask. Won't trouble you with his wants unless you bring it up first.
You reach for his big hand that rests on your belly, and drag it to where you need him. His palm enveloping your tits, the rough callus’s catching on your sensitive nipple just right-
Your pregnancy had been different than regular humanoid pregnancies. Your body worked hard, thrown into overdrive in an attempt to keep up with the fast growing fetus in your womb. You’d started lactating months ago, far earlier then normal. Your breasts firm, full with milk. Ready to feed the child that had not yet come into the world.
At first it had been both painful and embarrassing. You had no child to drink what you were producing and the other breastfeeding women in the tribe we’re hesitant to feed their babies your tawtute(human) milk. Already over emotional due to the hormone change, you’d wept at the fact that you had no one to give what your body readily made.
The fact that you couldn't be a bigger part of your community due to your human heritage, combined with the intense pain that came from having backed up ducts had been too much,
Eventually you’d turned to Neteyam, both your eyes and shirt soaking wet. Begged him to help you. And of course, as always, he did.
It should be awkward, or shameful- but connecting with him on any level is something you cherish. Why would this be any different?
“I’m always nice to you, aren't I, love?” Neteyam gruffs as he gently works at the breast in his hands. Its firm and full of milk, his mouth waters “Do they hurt again?”
“Mhmm” you whine pathetically, and you’re not lying. The skin of your chest is now marred by stretch marks and you’d had to stuff precious, hard to come by toilet paper down your bra all day to keep them from spilling over “They’re so full, Nete”
“Oh” He hums, thumbing at your nipple “Poor momma, I’ll help you. Don't worry” his lips are wet against your skin as he kisses his way to your breast, his tongue peeking out to circle your puffy nipple. A pearlescent drop of milk tops the rosy bud and he groans as it hits his taste buds.
He tells you that you taste good, often. The juices of your pussy, your spit soaked kisses. He’s always been greedy for it, his tongue bullying its way into your holes, desperate for your essence. Your milk is just as delicious as the rest of you.
It quickly goes from kitten licking, wide wet stripes against your pebbled nipple to sucking your big breast as far into his mouth as he could. Careful of his fangs as he gorges himself on your flesh.
He’s loudly appreciative as he suckles on your nipple. Grunting and humming and moaning at the flavor. Your arms come around him, cradling his head to your bosom because it feels so good. Having him this close, knowing that he'd do anything to take care of you. That he truly loved the way you tasted-
Many people thought you and Neteyam would never last. It was lust, they’d claim. Curiosity. A childhood friendship that would fizzle out eventually. Na’vi needed Tsaheylu, it was the lifeblood of all their relationships. Why would the much desired future Olo’eyktan stay with you if he couldn't even properly bond you?
While you couldn't deny that there we’re doubt filled moments that you yourself wondered why he’d chosen you and stayed so loyal to you…you still felt your own form of connection to him. While you’d love to make that sacred bond with him, you didn't feel any less close to your mate.
You never thought that you could be so intertwined with another being.
As Neteyam takes his fill from your breast, you massage the base of his Kuru, firm enough that it makes him hiss. You have no special braid of your own, but he’s always been very free with his when it comes to you.
You can do with as you please. Stroke it. Lick it. Massage it. Hell, he’d even let you touch glowing pink tendrils at the end of it before. Let you feel his exposed nerves, so vulnerable and raw in your hands that he had shed tears as you explored.
Nothing was taboo in your relationship. There was no space undiscovered between you.
Your bodies we’re so very different, and yet you knew his like the back of your hand. All of the strong muscles and hard sinew. The cobalt expanse of his skin didn't have one blemish that you haven't memorized. You could point out his striped pattern in a sea of other Na’vi.
And he knows you right back.
Loves to dig his fingers into your doughy hips, into your pillowy thighs. Your wide ass and ample chest. He loves your form, goes crazy for all of your alien curves. He never cared for your human modesty, he’d wanted to part your ass cheeks and stare at plump of your pussy for as long as he could remember. Wanted to strip you of all of those clothes and just stare.
The fact that he gets to do just that, for the rest of your lives, is his favorite, favorite thing.
You watch him eagerly as he slowly nurses. You can't get enough of the sight of him, his hollowed cheeks, the bob of his throat as he swallows your free flowing milk. He's so strong, his muscles flex in the dim light. All of that strength, and yet he’s so very gentle with you, his rough tongue laving at your sore buds every couple minutes. Soothing and tickling you all the same.
You giggle at a particularly quick swipe, letting out a small squeal as Neteyam’s tongue plays with the flesh in his mouth. His eyes peek open, glittering with mirth and low boiling heat as he meets your gaze. Whin his lips split into a smile, a dribble of translucent white milk escapes. Trickles down from the corners of his lips.
Heat pulses between your legs and you know he can smell how aroused you are.
Neteyam has always been able to turn you on without even trying. A well spoken word, or even a pointed look could get you running your thighs together. All desperate to get him alone and put your hands all over him.
You hate that you cant kiss him the way you want to, your Exo Mask, while necessary to your survival can be suck a fucking menace sometimes.
Your thumb traces his lips, the ones you want pressed against your own so bad. You rub the spilled milk from his chin. Cleaning him up in a way that's so simple, and so beyond erotic.
He breaks eye contact first, like he just can't look at you anymore. His brows all scrunched up, his chest raising and falling rapidly. He releases your sloppy nipple, completely covered in his saliva, and presses his face against the damp skin. Making a sound of distress.
Your fingernails skritch at his scalp, tangled in his many braids “What is it, baby?”
“I wanna fuck you so bad. Eywa, do you even smell yourself, Y/N? So good. I have to-”
“Yeah, yeah, okay” You nod, agreeing blindly. He can have whatever he wants.
“Fuck you hard, though. Gotta pound you. I know I shouldn't but it’ll be alright, huh? Won't hurt the baby?” his face is still buried in your skin, you cant even see his expression as he pleads for your pussy. It makes you so hot.
You push at his chest, needing him to get off of you for just a moment. He’s heavy as shit, a dead weight- doesn't really move until you're pouting and demanding for him to just give you a little space.
Enough that you can wiggle out of your panties and spread your thighs wide for him. Your swollen, sticky pussy on display for your mate.
His nostrils flare, and his thin tail whips wildly behind him.
When he swings your thick thighs up onto his broad shoulders, you let out a low, appreciative moan.
“Such a good boy for momma” you praise him the way the people praise the Great Mother. The cradle of your thighs a sanctuary where you both come to worship.

Tumblr media
It hasn’t been very long since you left the healer's kelku, a month, maybe two. Honestly, you weren’t sure, your sense of time was messed up, along with your sleep schedule. You had just given birth to your first baby boy. You and your mate, Neteyam were beyond excited. Everything felt like a dream, ever since you found out you were pregnant.
It wasn’t long after you mated either, you come to learn neteyam is a very active man, He wanted it no matter what time of day. You remembered tons of times before you moved into the kelku neteyam built for you both, when you lived together at his parents, no matter what time he got to put it down on you he did, not that it was anything for you to complain about. He never disappointed you.
It's safe to say everything is very different now, new baby, new kelku, and a new routine which was definitely something to get used to. Neteyam was a very big help and still is when it comes to the baby, and just generally everything else. He makes it a point to remind you how grateful he is for giving him the most amazing gift he could have ever received, his son. Not to mention all the other children he wants you to have for him as soon as your good and ready to start bouncing on his cock again.
Truthfully, you had already expressed the want and need to have sex, you believe your body has adjusted well in the past couple months, your once round stomach had gone back down to before you had started showing already, your hips had gotten slightly wider but you can’t say you didn’t like them, and your breast.
Your breast had swollen into balloons from their once small size. You had never complained about them before but now, you can’t imagine looking at yourself in the mirror and not seeing this new addition to your body. It’s not fat which make them firm and perky. You simply loved them. You learned early on in your pregnancy that your son may breastfeed for about a year maybe even longer. So, you were definitely going to get used to how this looks.
You aren’t the only one who seems to like how pretty and full your heavy tits are, your mate certainly enjoys the view, and he makes no move to hide it. Neteyam loves sneaking glimpses and light touches on your skin, he’s so soft when it comes to you like he’s holding himself back. You can feel it when his hands are on your body, like he doesn’t want to hurt you which only makes you want him even more.
You can’t count the amount of time neteyam has gotten distracted watching your tits. Whether you're just sitting in front of him or moving around all your words go in one ear and out the other. You tend to have to repeat yourself more often. You can say you dislike the way he looks at you, it really makes you feel good about yourself and your body how attracted he is to you, you want nothing more than for him to just fuck another baby into you every time he looks at you like that.
His eyes appear darker somehow and his tail lashing slowly, almost sensually. His head tilts just slightly and his brain goes on autopilot answering you without listening, sometimes his hand even runs down to his cock over his tweng and he lightly strokes it as if to find some relief. You want to give him some relief but anytime you approach him with the need for sex he tells you he doesn’t want to hurt you, that you are fragile now after birth and he doesn’t want to put you in any discomfort.
It was late at night now, Neteyam had gone on a hunting trip with his brother and father something they did often, he’s a bit later than usual but you think nothing of it. He always comes home. You didn’t hear him at first. You sat in the rocking hammock in front of the fireplace that was a couple feet away from your bed. You had a view of the front entrance, but you were focus on your baby boy. He laid so peacefully in your arms, but his eyes were wide open as you sang your song cord to him softly while rocking. This was normally how he ended his night, sleeping peacefully in your arms before you transfer him to his cot next to the bed you and Neteyam sleep on.
Behind you but the makeshift stove water boiled as you prepared tea for Neteyam’s return. You had grown to realize how much he appreciated all you did to help him wind down at the end of the day after a long day like today. As he entered the kelku, his eyes immediately searched for you both. When he did find you, he couldn’t help but be in awe of how relaxed you looked, he took in the way you body was so cozied up in the hammock with you blanket and how his son was wrapped up in your arms taking in all your love.
Slowly you shift to stand up to walk over to the stove and then you see him, standing against the door frame his gaze was on you but you could see the tiredness melt as you light up at him, “Ma Teyam, you are home” you smile sweetly. He mirrored your smile leaning his bow up against the wall next to the makeshift door and entering. His steps were soft but not slow as came straight at you, “how was your day baby?”
One of your hands moved from around your son closer to him as he stepped forward, his hand reached for yours as he stood in front of you and you hand ran up his arm to his muscular bicep.
“It was a successful hunt...but I missed you kalin” Neteyam said softly, and you could just feel yourself melt. His gaze drifted down to the small baby on your arms, “we missed you too, didn’t we” I giggle and raise our son up slightly. I lean in and up kissing Neteyam on his check, our baby who was situated between us cooed slightly at the closeness, he knew his father well.
Neteyam took him out of your arms, and you smiled at the sweet sight before going to finish up preparing the tea for him. Neteyam had moved to sit where you once were in the hammock and softly played with his son. Your carry over to cup to him and slotted yourself next to him bigger frame. Your body was pressed against his as you leaned into his warmth in the cold night.
“Tey, he needs to go to bed” you giggle as you look down at your son in his arms, “and he has to nurse.” Neteyam handed him over and wrapped his arms around you to hold you both close to him, “tell me about your day kalin” he kisses your head softly as you adjust yourself to breast feed. “Let’s see, we went for a walk this morning into the village to see your grandmother and Kiri, we picked up some fruit from the harvest station then we came back and took and bath and a long, long nap and- can you untie me top?” You spoke softly and leaned up for Neteyam to help you.
“Absolutely” he teased with a smile as his fingers made quick work of removing your top you sigh in relief as the fabric shifts off and falls and he removes it tossing it somewhere behind you. It wasn’t uncommon for you to be naked and free in your shared home, but you only normally did it when Neteyam was home. “Sounds like you both had quiet the day” he smiled as his eyes darted down to your now exposed chest.
“We did it was eventful” you smile softly. You heard the shift in his tone, you know he’s looking down at your chest, you know he wants you. Your son latched onto your breast and suckled away hungrily. Neteyam’s arm draped lazily over your shoulder his fingers drew small patterns on your skin. His other hand that rested on your thigh moved up towards your stomach splaying on the entire span of it, as if he was still in awe of what your body has done.
You smile without looking at him, “you’re staring”
He huffs a quiet laugh, his breath warm against the skin of your shoulder, “And?”
Your glance up at him amusement dancing in your eyes, “and you always do”
Neteyam doesn’t deny it, instead he shifts impossibly closer his lips brush the side of your neck, “I can’t help it” he murmurs.
The hand that was on your shoulder shifted around your chest holding you close to him, and he lightly brushed over your skin, over the top of your breast. By now your son had fallen asleep but you still felt him suckling so you didn’t pull away. Neteyam’s touch lit fire in you, so you took a deep breath.
You glance up at him softly, “Neteyam…”
His gaze doesn’t meet yours; it stays on your nursing son. You can see the look in his eyes a mix of love and devotion, and something darker, something restrained. His voice was low and rough, “you’re incredible” his thumb idly stroked your skin, “strong and beautiful. I watch you with him and all I can think about is how much I love you”
You swallow, your heartbeat picking up. There’s no rush in his touch, no urgency—just warmth, quiet admiration, but underneath it, you can feel the tension. The barely contained desire.
You shift, slightly pressing yourself into him, “is that all you think about?”
Neteyam pulled your son’s day cot closer and takes him out of your arms, his mouth detached as he places in into the cot and settles him to sleep before pushing it back where it was, still within view but not right next to you. His attach is brought back to you immediately and he takes you in. Your hair was slightly a mess from leaning onto him, blush scattered on your pretty face. And your chest, rising up and down, where your son was previously attached against your nipple milk dripped slowly from the harden nub. Neteyam almost lost it.
He slotted himself back into the position he was in holding you impossibly close to him. His voice was hushed, thick with something unspoken, “no…. that’s not all I think about” how lips graze the shell of your ear.
A slow, knowing smile tugs at your lips, you tilt hour head slightly, just enough to feel the heat of his breath on your skin, “then what else?” You whispered into the air.
His fingers shift, the ones on your stomach shift lower and the on your chest as well, slowly he cups one side of your full breast, “fuck…” you whisper as he slowly kissing your neck and his other hand toys with the tie of your tweng. “I think about how full you are, how soft… how perfect you feel in my arms kalin”
The weight of his word settling deep inside you. Neteyam has never been one to hide his feelings from you but this is different, “you give out son everything, I can’t stop thinking about it, how much of a perfect mother you are, best thing I ever did for you was give you a baby…I just wanna show you how much I appreciate it.” He unties your tweng now but doesn’t pull it off, it just sits loose on your hips.
Your voice was teasing, but soft, “you sound almost jealous”
Neteyam let out a low chuckle, pressing his face in the crook of your neck, “maybe I am” he inhaled deeply, “maybe I just miss the taste of my sweet muntxate.”
You let out a sweet sigh after you hear his soft words, you always liked it when he called you that, a habit he developed before you were even mated officially, “I have been trying to give you a taste muntxatan, you one the one who keeps turning me down.”
You feel his warmth breath on your skin, “I am trying to remind myself to be patient.”
You let out a soft giggle, "Patience was never your strong suit when it came to me.”
Neteyam huffed softly, “I do not want to hurt you, you are sensitive... so sensitive and healing and I…” he cut himself off, his eyes were glued to your perky tits.
“You could never hurt me” you bit your lip looking up at him softly. You could always hear the way Neteyam growled and stuffed his face back into your neck taking a deep inhale of your scent. “I missed you so much baby...” he whispered as he nibbled on the lobe of your ear sweetly.
“Let me make you feel good…” his hand that was on your stomach moved down until he slotted his fingers between your thighs under your tweng. He felt the way your thighs squeezed around his hand, but he was more distracted but the slick the coated the outside of your core, almost dripping onto the hammock below. You gasp softly and your mouth remained open as you leaned into him, his fingers found your clit and started rubbing small circles.
It’s been so long since he touched you like this you almost forgot his amazing it felt when he treated you like this. “Nete...” you whispered into the air as your head rocked back onto his shoulder. His other hand that tightened around your perky tits and you started to drop milk.
Neteyam almost lost it when he saw that. “They’re always so full now, so soft and heavy…” he whispered, “I can’t stop thinking about them” his fingers brushed against the harden nipple and you shuttered under his touch from the sensitivity. “So fucking sensitive, I don’t know how I managed to keep my hands off you for so long…off these pretty full tits”
His words make you moan softly into the air as he softly played with your body, “you know I watch you feed him and it…stirs something in me I don’t know how to describe it, pride...need”
He exhales deeply as his hand on my chest cups and squeezes it again, “I know they are for him, but I can’t lie kalin…I want them too”
You tilt your head up to look at him, “because they are full?”
He leaned in and whispered in your ear softly, “because they are yours”
His words send shivers up your spine, he didn’t waste much time after that his arms shifted turning your entire body around by lifting you up and settling you on his lap, straddling his thighs. His arms wrapped around you bringing you in closer to him. Your tweng had fallen when he lifted you leaving you completely exposed on his lap.
Neteyam could help but admire the state he had you in, hair messy, purple blush spreading down your neck just deep on your cheeks, your chest messy with milk dripping from your garden nipples as they rise and fall as if he had knocked all the air out of your lungs. You were fucked out before he even fucked you.
“You want them too” you whisper to him. He nodded softly as his hands started to explore your body as if he’d never touched you before. His hands moved quickly touching as much skin as he could from your thighs to your hips up to your neck. Neteyam was gripping you so much he involuntarily moved you around on his lap dragging your bare clit over his cock that was covered by his tweng.
Only now you realized he’s still fully clothed. Neteyam loved having you like this with him, it always turned him on how much you trusted him with your body. “Yea baby I do” he matched your tone.
You leaned down and kissed him your arms wrapped around his neck pulling him closer to you, his hands still moving all over your body pulled you in as well. Your hands slot through his braids as he moves his hot mouth down to your neck leaving deep purple marks in his wake. He moves downwards towards your chest licking and sucking at the milk stained skin, “you taste so sweet baby” neteyam moans.
Neteyam wasn’t much of a noise maker, he’d grunt here and there during sex but other that his sweet words he’d whisper to you about how good you were to him when he fucked you, he never really moaned. You felt your eyes roll back when he took one of your leaking hard nipples in his mouth making you moan in unison. His tongue rolled around your nipple, flicking it up and down as he enjoyed your sensitivity.
His actions had you shuttering, rubbing your body against him, even grinding down on his covered hard on. Neteyam felt like his cock was gonna explode from how hard it was, he swore in this moment he could cum untouched. “F-fuckkk nete!” You throw your head back shivering slightly.
His next move was something you didn’t expect, he latched onto you nipple and started sucking. It felt so much different from when your son did it you don’t know. Your eyes shoot open, and you let out a squeal before you started panting heavily. “You’re so good for me muntxate…you taste so…so good”
His words come out in pants, he didn’t wanna stop to talk to you but he wanted to tell you how good you were for him, letting him touch you like this, trusting him with something so intimate he loved it, he loved you.
Your breathing picked up making it hard for you to catch your breath as he moved onto you other nipple, following the same steps you felt like he’s suck you dry, you almost wondered if you’d have enough to feed you son when he wakes up in a couple hours.
“N-nete…ah” you moan not being able to form much words. Your slick was leaking between your legs, soaking his tweng. Your finger quickly ran down any part of his body you could reach looking for the knot holding his tweng together. You quickly untie it basically tacking at the fabric to get it off which make him chuckle against your skin.
Eventually you do get it off raising yourself up to rip the fabric away from his body, accidentally disconnecting your nipple from his mouth. You heard him make a small whine of protest before his cock shoots up hitting the skin below his belly button. It make you giggle seeing him so needy for you, just like he always liked seeing you get all hot and horny for him.
Neteyam was a sight to take in you almost forgot what you were doing when you looking up at him. A purple blush covered his cheeks as he took quick deep breaths to help him catch his breath. His hair was messy you’d definitely need to rebrand it in the morning before he left for training, and his mouth, oh his mouth leaked milk, to say Neteyam looked drunk off you was an understatement. Your sweet syrup dripped from his lips, and he darted his tongue out to catch it, he didn’t want to waste it. “Come back baby ‘m not done” his voice was low as his hands gripped your wrist pulling your chest back to his mouth.
Your hands stopped him resting in his chest and pushing him away, “fuck me..fuck me and I’ll give you all the milk you want” your voice was soft and needy, you didn’t mean to sound so desperate for cock but you couldn’t help it, it’s been months now since he put his cock down on you.
Neteyam rocked his head back with a laugh, “oh baby, your gonna keep it from me if I don’t fuck you?” His sweet tone made you bite your lip, “you know you like it, doesn’t it feel good?” He pulled you in slightly whispering.
“Y-yes but I want you to fuck me…I miss you, I miss your cock! Please…please Nete…I’ll give you all the milk I have” you bit your lip hoping to convince him. You knew Neteyam could only deny you so long. You knew he wanted this as much as you did.
“Fuck okay..” he whispered as he raised your body you lining you up with his harden cock. The stretch was beautiful your eyes rolled so far back you thought you started seeing through the back of your head. It felt amazing. You moaned loudly as he fully sat your down on him. His grip on your body was tight, it’s been so long since he fucked you, and even after you just brought his baby into the world, your still so tight.
Neteyam didn’t waste anymore time immediately dropping his head down to your harden, wet nipples. He suckled against them as you grinned on his cock inside you, you were making yourself come on him and he couldn’t be happier. It did take you a second to get used to his size but in a matter of less than a minute you couldn’t wait to use him to get off.
It didn’t take long for you to release the first time, he practically built you up, especially with all the sucking against your sensitive nubs. By the time Neteyam was finished with the one side your nipples we’re purple and sore, the feeling of his tongue reminded after he pulled away, “you came baby, you got one more in you? I want you to cum again” his lips felt hot against your neck as he spoke. You felt your body drop in tiredness but you didn’t wanna give up the opportunity of getting fucked so easily. You wanted him to make you cum until you fell asleep.
So, you nod desperately letting him know you’ll do it again, your ready to cum on his cock again. He let out a small chuckle at your completely fucked out response but he couldn’t say he didn’t enjoy watching you like this. His hands came down to grip your slim waist as he started to move you up and down on his hard cock.
“Oh great mother..” you whisper into the air was he bounced you up and down, gradually he increased his speed and grip. Your tits bounced in his face and every time he slammed you down onto his lap your tits would squirt a few drops of milk like you were shaking a bottle that was almost empty. His tongue caught your other nipple, flicking at it as you moved up and down. His teeth grazed it before he bit down sending your tail lashing about knocking over and few small things behind you, but you didn’t have the time to care.
“Ffuckkk Teyyyyy!” You dragged out the nickname you called him, “gonna cum, gonna cum!” You started repeating over and over each time getting louder until you were cuming hard around his cock. You clenched down on him making him moan against your skin and suck harder. Your fingernails dug into the skin of his arms as your tried to stabilize yourself.
“Fuck yea baby just like that” Neteyam said against your skin. He eventually slowed his movements until he came to a stop and pulled you off his cock quickly. You protested not wanting to lose the fullness so fast but when you did realize what he was doing you didn’t protest.
Neteyam put you on your knees in front of him admiring all the purple bruises he left on your skin, the fucked-out expression on your face, “gonna make me cum now kalin?” He said softly but you heard him.you didn’t much process what was happening until he slotted his wet cock between your tits bringing your hands up to squeeze them together around him. The section made you leak milk even more and it ran down your fingertips to his thighs.
He didn’t care much about the mess he always liked it messy when he fucked you. You started to lift your chest up and down on him sticking your tongue out to touch his tip when it came up to your mouth. Neteyam was loving the sight, his pretty wife in her knees messy and sweet all for him, it was gonna make him cum fast.
“Fuck muntxate…” neteyam moaned, “so fucking warm and pretty fuckkkk” he was losing it. His head rolled back with a moan as your tongue circled his head tasting yourself on him, “oh eywa I’m gonna cum…make me cum muntxate” his voice was strained, one hand gripped your hair and the other gripping your upper arm as he started thrusting harder.
He came quickly after that with just a few hard thrust spraying his cum all over your face and chest. Everything was messy, everything was sweet, even the smell of the room wasn’t normal it was mixed with the smell of your sweet milk.
You let go of your tits which released his cock, still standing hard Neteyam swipes his cum off your eyes so you could see him, “I’m not done baby” he stroked his hard cock in your face, you were in for a long night.

neteyam x fem!reader
contains: extremely short smut, established relationship (like always), neteyam in rut, p in v, dirty talk, gentle choking, a hint of degrading (he calls u a slut like once lol)
wc: 514 unedited
Tumblr media
You wake up with his cock ramming in and out of you, your eyes still blurry and trying to process what’s happening again. He had been at this all night, his rut seemed to be never ending as he just kept fucking you in and out of sleep. You could hear how wet you were, you could feel how wet you were. You wondered how long he had been fucking you before you woke up or if he had managed to cum inside you before you woke up and that’s why it was so wet.
You reach for your mates muscly shoulders as he pounded into you, his nose coming down to sniff your neck, inhaling your scent deeply before exhaling with a grunt. He never wanted your scent to leave his senses. He wanted to hold you and cherish you forever, he wanted to smell you for the rest of his life and never let you go.
But he also wanted to mark you and pump you full of his cum. He wanted to impregnate you and show everyone who you truly belonged to. His cock twitched when an actual coherent thought appeared in his mind and it was you pregnant with his child, tummy swollen with his offspring.
His mind was foggy as his cock began to bruise your cervix harder; he was so far gone that he could barely hear his own thoughts anymore. All he could hear was your sweet noises that he couldn’t get enough of.
“T-Teyam!” You whine in pain and pleasure, and he hums, licking all over your neck before biting down onto your shoulder, marking you for all to see (as if he hadn’t marked you enough already.)
“ ‘M sorry, baby. Needed you so bad, couldn’t help myself.” He groaned against your skin, licking a long stripe up your neck to your ear. “Y’look so pretty when you sleep. So peaceful. N I promise it’ll all be over soon, j-just let me…” He closed his eyes, moaning into your ear as he felt his millionth orgasm of the night approaching.
“I-It’s okay, I- Oh, eywa!” You clench around him desperately, moaning loudly the best you could with your sore throat as you throw your head back. Your whole body felt so weak, so tired. He had used you so much that it was unbelievable that he was still going. But you let him fuck you dumb because he’s your mate and you’d do anything for him; just like if you were in heat, he would take everything and anything just to make you feel better.
His hand is quick to wrap around your marked up throat, squeezing gently. He pulls your head up by your throat, bringing your forehead to his, staring into your half-lidded and hazy eyes with lust and heat swirling in his amber orbs that seemed to grow darker as he stared at you. “Don’t call to her, call to me. Call to your mate. Go ahead, scream my fucking name. Let everyone hear who’s fucking you like a dirty little slut.”

Your best friend, Neytiri, gave birth to her beautiful baby boy, Neteyam months ago and she and Jake have been spending their days as first time parents nurturing and loving on their child. Parenting an infant has been taking up all of the couple's time but since they’ve been able to learn and adjust to their son’s schedule, they are finally able to spend time with their best friends. While Jake and Tsu’tey are wandering the forest, foraging for some fruits for you all to munch on, you and Neytiri are sitting together with your feet resting inside the nearby river.
As the water gently flows over your feet, you look over to Neytiri with a proud smile, loving to see her in the new light that motherhood has bestowed upon her. You know how long she’s been wanting a child with Jake so when she told you she was pregnant you were so happy for her and her mate. While Neytiri sits beside you, cradling Neteyam as he’s sleeping peacefully in her arms, you can’t help but notice the faint shadow of exhaustion in her eyes. You know that having a child isn’t easy, all the sleepless nights and having to give the baby all the energy and attention isn’t easy but as always Neytiri excels.
“He is so precious.” you say softly as you lean closer to admire Neteyam. “Eywa has truly blessed you, Neytiri.”
Neytiri smiles, her gaze fixed on her son. “Yes, she has. He is my heart… but it has been so long since Jake and I had time together. Just the two of us.” Her voice carries a wistful undertone, missing the days when she and Jake could just be together lovingly as a couple instead of feeling the need to be in parent mode all the time. She can barely remember the last time she and Jake had a date night, spent the night in each other's embrace, or were able to be intimate with one another. As much as she loves her son she needs a break, just a few hours of alone time with her husband so they can reconnect.
Hearing the tiredness in Neytiri's voice and the yearning coded in her words makes your heart slightly ache. It’s clear she desires a chance to spend quality time with Jake, to remind themselves of who they are as mates beyond their roles as parents. “Neytiri,” you say softly, placing a comforting hand on her arm. “You and Jake deserve time to alone. You both have given so much of yourselves to Neteyam, but it’s just as important to nurture your bond with each other.”
She glances at you, her expression uncertain. “But who would watch over Neteyam? I cannot ask that of anyone.”
A playful smile graces your lips as you gently tap her arm. “Who said you have to ask? I’m offering.”
Her eyes widen in surprise, and she sits up a little straighter, shocked that you’re willing to babysit her son. “You would do that? Watch over him?”
“Of course!” you reply, laughing softly. “I love spending time with him. And honestly, I think you and Jake need this. Have the night to yourselves. Go for a walk, watch the stars, enjoy each other’s company without worrying about feedings and nap schedules.”
Neytiri hesitates for a moment, looking down at her son. Neteyam stirs slightly in her arms, his tiny fingers curling against her chest, and her gaze softens with adoration. But then she looks back at you, a flicker of hope in her golden eyes as she begins to think about what the night could hold for her and Jake if she agrees to let you watch him. “Are you certain? I don’t want to burden you.”
You nod firmly, sticking with your offer to take him off her hands for a while. “I’m positive. I will take excellent care of him. Besides, he’s perfect, Neytiri. He’ll probably sleep the whole time and won’t even notice you’re gone.”
A laugh escapes her lips, light and melodic as she places Neteyam in the baby carrier that’s wrapped around her body since her arms are starting to grow tired. “Very well.” she says, gratitude evident in her voice. “Thank you, sister. This means so much to me.”
You smile warmly, squeezing her shoulder gently. “You don’t need to thank me, Neytiri. I’m happy to help,” you say softly. “Just bring him by tonight, and enjoy your time with Jake. I promise, everything will be fine.”
You and Tsu’tey are currently at home, preparing your space for Neteyam’s arrival. Your cozy mauri is filled with the faint glow of bioluminescent plants you’ve carefully placed around the room to add some more light. Your mate is seated near the fire pit, carefully sharpening his blade while you gather soft woven blankets and toys, ensuring everything is perfect for little Neteyam’s visit.
“You are certain this is a good idea?” Tsu’tey asks, his deep voice breaking the comfortable silence. His hairless brows furrowed, though not out of worry for the child but more for you. Tsu’tey has seen firsthand how much energy a baby can require and he knows you’re doing Neytiri and Jake a kindness and allowing them several hours of peace but he wants to make sure you won’t get overwhelmed.
You chuckle softly as you arrange the blankets into a cozy nest for Neteyam when he decides he wants to crawl around and play. “He is just a baby, Tsu’tey. How much trouble could he possibly be?” You’ve had your share of babysitting, especially when you were younger and would help your mother take care of your siblings so looking after sweet little Neteyam was practically light work for you, you weren’t worried about how the night would go at all because you know things will go smoothly.
Tsu’tey snorts, setting his blade aside and turning to face you fully. “That small warrior may not walk or speak yet, but he already commands the attention of two of the finest hunters I know. Do not underestimate him.”
You laugh at Tsu’tey’s words, shaking your head. “I don’t underestimate him. I’ve spent enough time with Neteyam to know how strong he’s going to be someday but he’s just a baby for now.” You respond playfully while moving any items that are hazardous for a baby to get ahold of in a place Neteyem wouldn't be able to reach. “Besides, if he does decide to pull off some little surprise trick, I’ll handle it.”
His eyes soften at the warmth in your voice, though his protective instinct still lingers. “If you need me, I’ll be right here. And if that little warrior starts causing trouble, I will gladly take over.”
“I’m not worried, but thank you.”
Tsu’tey lips slightly curl into a halfway smile, glad that you’re confident. “Just don’t say I didn’t warn you when Neteyam tries to take over the whole place. He is a Sully after all.”
“Oh, I’m sure he’ll be just like his father. A bit of a handful but with a heart of gold.” You pause and look at him affectionately, enjoying the back and forth banter. “And we both know you wouldn’t have it any other way.”
As you finish your preparations, you look forward to spending the evening with Neteyam, knowing that you’ll have his tiny giggles and quiet coos to keep you company. And, more importantly, you’re glad that Neytiri and Jake will finally get to enjoy a peaceful moment together.
Once eclipse finally comes, the sound of footsteps approaching your home draws your attention. Moments later, Jake and Neytiri walk through the entryway and into the common area, Neytiri cradling a sleeping Neteyam in her arms while Jake carries a small woven bag filled with baby essentials.
Neytiri’s expression is a mix of gratitude and hesitation, while Jake’s face lights up at the sight of you and Tsu’tey, thankful that he’s getting a little break. “Hey,” Jake greets, his voice a little softer than usual so he doesn’t wake up Neteyam. “You sure about this? Once we’re gone, there’s no turning back.”
“Go,” you say with a smile, rising to meet them. “Spend some time together. Me and Tsu’tey got this.”
Neytiri gently hands Neteyam over to you, her hands lingering for a moment as if she’s reluctant to let him go. This is the first time she’s leaving Neteyam alone with someone other than Jake or her mother since he took his first breath so she’s a little nervous about giving him up. “He has just been fed and should sleep for at least a couple hours. But if he cries—”
“We’ll handle it.” you reassure her, cradling the baby with practiced ease from taking care of your younger siblings when you were a child. “You trust me, don’t you?”
Neytiri’s lips twitch into a small smile, nodding her head and allowing herself to relax and not worry because she knows her son is in good hands. “I do.”
Jake steps closer to Tsu’tey, placing his hand on his shoulder. “Thanks, man. Appreciate you doing this. If anything goes wrong—”
“It will not.” Tsu’tey interrupts with a firm and confident tone. He knows that you and him can handle taking care of the small warrior so he isn’t worried one bit. He crosses his arms and gives Jake a pointed look, one of his usual stern expressions. “Go. Your mate needs this time.”
Jake raises his hands in surrender, a grin spreading across his face as he realizes that his best friend is right that he and Neytiri definitely need these next few hours alone to spend time together as mates. “Alright, alright. We’re going.”
As Neytiri and Jake head off into the forest, their hands intertwined and their voices fading into the distance, you glance down at the baby in your arms. Neteyam stirs slightly, his tiny fingers curling around the edge of your necklace, and your heart melts at the sight. Tsu’tey moves to stand beside you, placing his arm around your shoulder as he gazes down at the baby. “He is… small.”
You suppress a laugh, leaning into him and resting your head on his shoulder. “Yes, and perfect.” Neteyam lets out a soft coo, his tiny face scrunching up before drifting off back to sleep.
Tsu’tey watches him intently, his fierce expression softening as he places a soft kiss on your temple. “We will do well.” he says, his voice quiet but filled with certainty about his and your capabilities.
“Yes, we will.” The two of you settle in for the evening, the peaceful sounds of the forest surrounding your home as you take on the role of caregivers for the night.
As Neytiri said, for the next hour or so Neteyam was sleeping peacefully but after a while he woke up energetic as ever. He was crawling around the marui, playing with some of the toys his parents brought for him so he could keep himself entertained, and every so often he wanted to be held, like right now.
While your preparing a snack for you and Tsu’tey, Neteyam makes his way over to you, tugging lightly on the decorative strings of your loincloth, communicating to you that he wants to be picked up. You gently set the knife down on the surface next to you, a soft smile forming on your lips as you glance down at Neteyam.
His bright golden eyes meet yours, and his tiny hands tug once more at the colored thread, clearly eager to be picked up. “You want to be held, hm?” you say softly, your voice warm and affectionate as you extend your arms to him, and with a delighted giggle, he crawls closer towards you, his small hands reaching for you.
You scoop him up gently, cradling him in your arms. He snuggles against you, his tiny hands grasping at your fingers as you stand up, carefully adjusting his position in your arms so both you and him can be comfortable. Tsu’tey watches you for a moment, a soft smile on his face as he sees how easily you slip into this nurturing role. “You make it look effortless.” he says, his voice calm as he leans back against the wall, watching you with an appreciative gaze.
“It’s not hard when he’s so sweet.” you reply, bouncing Neteyam gently in your arms, tickling his belly every so often which draws a few soft giggles from him. “He’s so full of energy, though.”
Tsu’tey nods in agreement, his eyes softening as he looks at Neteyam. “The way you care for him… it’s like you were born for this.” You feel your heart flutter at his words, but before you can respond, Neteyam starts to babble happily in your arms, reaching for the bowl of fruit you were preparing earlier.
“Let’s get you something to eat, little one.” you laugh, shifting to grab the fruit you had chopped in smaller pieces earlier for him on the table. You balance Neteyam in one arm as you grab a piece of yovo fruit, offering it to him in small amounts so he’ll be able to digest it safely. He takes it eagerly, his bright eyes lighting up as he tries to gnaw on the soft flesh of the fruit and the new flavor dances on his palate.
Ever since you and Tsu’tey started courting he’s known he wanted a family with you, but seeing you like this, so natural, so nurturing, makes that desire all the more real. The thought of little feet running around the marui, tiny voices calling for their sa’nu [mother] and sempu [father], and their little faces with a mixture of you and his features feels closer than ever, not just the distant dream that once played in his mind.
Tsu’tey comes and sits down at the wooden table with you, his gaze lingering on you as you gently bounce Neteyam on your thigh while your hand is wrapped around his stomach to make sure he stays upright, his tiny fingers wrapped around yours. “You look at peace.” he murmurs, his voice low, starting up a topic of conversation that he hopes both of you can see eye to eye on.
You glance up at him, a soft smile gracing your lips. “I suppose I am.” you say, brushing a hand over Neteyam’s head full of hair, feeling his little tail brush against your skin.
Tsu’tey brings his chair closer towards you, watching as Neteyam slowly begins to drift off in your arms after burning off all his energy and filling his belly with fruit. He is quiet for a moment, as if weighing his words and trying to figure out how to phrase them. Then, in a voice that holds a sense of hope, he asks the big question. “Have you thought more about our family?”
You blink, a little surprised by the sudden question, but warmth fills your chest at the thought. “Of course,” you say, looking up at him. “I always have. I just… I thought we would wait until the time felt right.” The topic of starting a family has come up multiple times over the course of your relationship and you both knew you wanted a family but neither of you put a timeframe on it, not wanting things to feel rushed or forced when there wasn’t any reason to be.
Tsu’tey reaches out, brushing his fingers gently over the back of your hand, looking directly into your eyes. “And what if that time is now?” His tone is steady, but there is something deeper beneath it, vulnerability, the side that only you and your future children are allowed to see. “Seeing you with him… I know now more than ever that you will be an incredible mother. Our children will be strong, loved, and safe.” He pauses, searching your face, trying to read the emotions behind your expression. “If you are ready, I am.”
Your heart swells at his words, at the sincerity in his voice. For so long, starting a family was a ‘someday’ thought, but now, with the love of your life looking at you with such devotion, such certainty, you feel a shift, the readiness of becoming a parent settling into your mind and heart. You smile, reaching up to cup his cheek, your thumb grazing his strong jawline. “Then we will begin trying.”
Saying those words makes reality set in to what your future can hold. A child growing in your womb, your belly expanding the further your pregnancy progresses, Tsu’tey treating you with the upmost care during the whole experience, and bringing your baby home for the first home, a physical form of the love you share for each other. Thinking of all those moments makes your heart flutter with what’s to come and you’re ready, ready to start a family with the man of your dreams.
When Tsu’tey hears that his smile grows, his chest swelling with love as he leans in, pressing a tender kiss to your forehead. “We will be great parents.” he murmurs against your skin, his voice filled with unwavering belief. He’s confident in your and his abilities, that whenever Eywa decides to fill your womb with a child that both of you will be ready for the lifetime responsibility.
The moment lingers, warm and full of quiet anticipation of the future as you and Tsu’tey begin sharing stories of what you think your children will be like. Neteyam shifts slightly in your arms, his tiny sigh grabbing both you and your mate’s attention. You glance down at the little warrior, then back up at Tsu’tey whose eyes are filled with unwavering affection for you, and in that moment, you know that your relationship is evolving into something greater.

neytiri wore her emotions on her sleeve. if she was upset, you'd know it. you'd see it, hear it, feel it. thankfully, all of her children were the same and it made for easy parenting. at least, when knowing something was wrong was concerned.
for the last few days, a cloud of despair followed tuk wherever she went. she was snippy with everyone, especially when the sun fell. neteyam tried to cheer her up by making the other siblings play the games she wanted to play, but even that wasn't sufficient for the youngest.
neytiri's eyes followed tuk as she entered the marui behind her older siblings to clean up for dinner, passing by without so much as a 'hello.' for a bubbly and talkative child, the dip in her mood was heavy on the rest of the family.
"what happened?" she whispered to jake once the kids were out of earshot.
jake looked up from where he was lighting the fire pit, pursing his lips in confusion. "what happened with what?"
"tuk."
he furrowed his eyebrows, his gaze briefly flickering to where the kids were bickering in the corner. "i'm not sure. she's been in a mood for the week, but she's been playing and going out with the other kids just fine."
neytiri dropped beside him just as the kids sat around the fire to eat. she cleared her throat expectantly. neteyam, kiri, and lo'ak looked up in anticipation and maybe a little bit of fear, but tuk's gaze remained trained on the floor.
"tuk." neytiri called her gently but firmly. "what is the matter?"
tuk's eyes flickered to her mother's, an answer on her lips; her eyes then passed over to her brothers and sister's warning looks and promptly zipped her mouth shut.
neytiri's eyes narrowed, noticing every micro-expression and unspoken message. she turned her interrogation onto the others. "what? what is that look for?"
"nothing, mother." neteyam spoke up, hoping to put the line of questioning to rest.
jake's suspicion grew, and he leaned forward to read the room better. "you're hiding something."
neteyam sighed. "we're not. we don't know why tuk's so upset, she's been fine all day."
jake's gaze swept over kiri and lo'ak. "nah, look at those faces. partners in crime, huh? what've you been up to that's got your sister like this?"
lo'ak and kiri straightened up, passing each other questioning looks before neutralizing their expressions.
"we've been out with the other kids, like every other day? not like there's anything else to do around here." lo'ak muttered.
"and yet, you always seem to find a way to shake things up." jake shot back, resting his hands on his hips. lo'ak not-so-discreetly rolled his eyes, which jake had the maturity to overlook. "now, is one of you gonna come clean or do i have to supervise you while you're out there?"
kiri groaned, slamming her food down in protest. neytiri scolded her, but the warning went in one ear and out the other. "has it ever occurred to you that we're doing benign private unremarkable things when we're not with you?"
"no." both neytiri and jake deadpanned at once.
kiri scoffed and crossed her arms. a pregnant pause occupied the conversation before jake sighed.
"fine, don't tell us. but you better fix my baby girl," he pointed to tuk. "or i'm forcing whatever it is out of you, understand?"
"yes, sir..." they all mumbled, picking at their food.
in the tense quiet that followed while everyone ate dinner, tuk wasn't spared the full force of her siblings' exasperated and annoyed glares.
keeping secrets was hard for her! she'd never been beyond the village boundaries, but all of her siblings routinely waited among the rocks where lo'ak first found you just in case that was the day you decided to visit. was it her fault she didn't want to be left out? she wanted to see you too! it was just... so far from the village... and dad got so mad at lo'ak for breaching the reef borders the first time...
the only reason they let her come along in the first place was because they made her promise—seriously promise—not to spill anything to mom and dad. here she was, trying her best to keep the secret and inadvertently breaking her promise in the process.
she sighed.

tarsem barked orders to his fighters rapidly, snatching his bow from its resting place and gathering whatever remaining ammo they had from the previous supply run.
you emerged from your tent, coaxed by curiosity at the increasing chatter, dodging an arrow as a fighter swung it in the air to align it in her bow. you automatically donned your own gear, searching for tarsem among the crowd.
"did something happen?" you asked when you found him.
he looked up from his maps briefly and locked eyes with you. "another supply train is making its way to the demon base."
memories of neteyam's and lo'ak's first supply run echoed in your mind. "let me get katir, and i'll—"
"ha," his lips twisted, standing to his full height and crossing his arms. "you are not coming."
your eyes narrowed. "the only thing that stopped me from joining the fight before was not having an ikran. i have katir."
"that is not the issue, ngatsyìp."
you ignored him, continuing, "you could use aerial support, especially if helicopters respond to your attack. they did last time and you lost a few good men. katir would easily overwhelm them."
tarsem scowled, his annoyance at your sound logic shining through. "i cannot let anything happen to you, and you have shown time and time again that danger is your most treasured lover."
you threw your hands up in exasperation. "tarsem. do you trust me or not?"
"i trust you, of course." he shot back hurriedly. "i trust you to be reckless. i trust you to be flippant with your own life."
you rolled your eyes. "you know i'll follow you anyway. you either let me in on your plans, or let me loose on the field."
tarsem growled in annoyance. "nga tspang oe. (you kill me.) fine." reluctantly pulling you closer to the war table to take in his strategies, he muttered, "the lightning bug can patrol the skies."
you smiled, not missing the roll of his eyes at your triumphant expression. what could go wrong?
/
you heard the distant alarms of the RDA airfield within minutes of the clan's hit to the train, no doubt calling pilots to their birds. it seemed like none of the sully kids could escape scouting duty in times like these, because like your brothers, you were stuck to soaring above the action with katir.
the train cars were dismantled of their tracks, and those with the fastest ikran carried the boxes of weapons and ammo back to high camp. you tuned in for any sound of beating propellers.
katir turned before you; in the distance, you saw five samsons cutting through the air towards the fallen train. you pat katir's neck to signal that it was okay to go crazy.
he dove almost immediately. you clung low to his neck as the wind whistled past your ears, your arm sliding down the contours of your body to stabilize your quiver.
with a deafening screech, katir drove his barbed tail through one of the samson's propellers—it spun out of control, taking the two closest down to their demise along with it. the remaining two broke formation and went around the commotion, beelining it towards the clan.
just as they sped beside you, you leapt from katir's neck onto one of the helicopters. swinging into the cabin, you dodged the pilot's bullets, grabbing their wrist and directing their gun to the ceiling. with their torso exposed, you delivered a swift killing blow to their neck.
without human control, the aircraft started to wobble. in a moment of adrenaline, you seized the handles and pulled up with all your might. overestimating the amount of strength needed to move the control stick, the helicopter shot up in the sky, perpendicular to the ground below—your hand on the stick was the only thing stopping you from tumbling out the samson.
you managed to nick the last remaining aircraft in your wild flight path, but it did more harm to the plane you were on than the other. you quickly abandoned it, jumping out of the helicopter into katir's waiting talons. scaling his body to his back, he provided stable ground for you to ready, aim, and fire your bow right at the last pilot's chest.
you let your arrow fly, watching with satisfaction as the last samson plunged to its rocky grave.
your moment of fulfillment was short-lived—katir cried in warning, his muscles flexing underneath your knees, and then you felt it.
a bullet piercing your side.
another aircraft emerged from the cover of the forest. you couldn't afford the time for questions like how did i miss this one? though the answer was painfully clear—a new model of RDA weaponry, camouflaged to the forest and completely silent.
pain flared its way up your body; this was nothing like the bullet graze you got the first encounter with quaritch. it rooted deeper, like a thick needle taking it's sweet, sweet time puncturing all layers of your skin.
you stumbled onto all fours, blood leaking onto katir's dusky blue exterior. as if sensing something was wrong, he evaded the incoming aircraft on his own volition. his pained and panicked squawks tugged at your heart.
"kat," you croaked, rubbing a soothing hand over his skin. "mawey, katir."
he must have noticed the weakness in your voice, the way it gargled on the blood flooding your system, because he did not calm down. he drove himself to an altitude where the samsons couldn't follow.
but the aircraft following you was no samson. it matched katir's height and speed, firing its guns in your direction.
as long as its fire is not on the na'vi, i'm winning. you reminded yourself. "katir, get away from here, understand?" you told him with finality. you pat him in farewell before leaping off of his back to the new aircraft.
the wonders of adrenaline. it was like you weren't in control of your body, and you were just barely aware of what you were doing. there were three soldiers—you shot your prepared arrow at the farthest, quickly grabbing your knife and stabbing the next. off-balance, they fell to their knees. you sliced their neck and kicked them off the plane.
you reacted too late to the third. abandoning their pilot's seat, they put you in a headlock. you thrashed against their grip, momentarily overpowering them before they drove their knee into your side wound. you cried out, blood gushing down your leg and draining your energy along with it.
your resistance grew weaker. your eyes began to droop. you felt hollow and drowsy. you couldn't breath with the constraint the solider had on your neck and in a blink, everything went black.
you faintly heard the soldier report, "target secured."
/
tarsem watched as the last of his fighters mounted their ikran and made their way to high camp. in the distance, he saw the smoke of RDA helicopters, a smile on his face as he acknowledged your carnage.
his eyes drifted upward, searching for signs of katir. he didn't have to look too far as your stormglider crashed to the ground, antsy.
he frowned, discomfort swirling in his stomach as he approached. offering his hand in greeting to katir, the animal allowed him to stroke his head as he assessed the state of him.
tarsem's heart dropped when he saw the blood on katir's back. the stormglider snorted, shaking its wings in fright—the blood scattered through the air, dotting tarsem's deep blue skin with spots of red.
he assured katir he would return before jumping onto his banshee, zooming to the crash zone for any sign of life. as he approached the scene of your battle, he caught the retreating aircraft in the far, far distance.
the smell of your blood was potent. it hung in the air, clinging to the flight path of the helicopter. you were still alive. bleeding and severely injured, no doubt. but alive. that was all he needed.
his hands curled into fists, rigid with rage. the sky people would learn that jake sully’s absence did not mean the clan had lost its strength. he was your olo’eyktan; you were his responsibility, his to protect. and he would bring you back. he swore it.
for now, he bottled up his anger and retreated home.

Another world (Neteyam x reader)
Tumblr media
Masterlist
Description: Falling into a world you only knew from a movie wasn’t in your cards, but falling for Neteyam - maybe life dealt you the right ones this time.
Warnings: smut, oral (f receiving), p in v, breeding kind, talk abt getting pregnant, small wounds and blood, talk abt dead parents/grandparents (readers)
Neteyam is aged up to like 21, reader is abt 19, the humans never came back and there’s no spider bc you know I don’t like him ahaha
15716 words
It had been a normal day for you - until it hadn’t. You were on your way home from work, your shift in the dingy little kiosk finally over, and your small apartment was waiting for you. You thought of the empty room that was once your grandmas, who would’ve been waiting for you a few months prior, but now she was gone and you had no one left. She and your grandpa had raised you, when your parents had died in an armed robbery. You were so small you didn’t really remember them, and your grandparents didn’t like to talk about the horrible day their daughter and son-in-law were ripped from them but you saw the newspaper cutouts they kept, and your heart broke everytime you caught a glimpse of them.
They did the best they could with their limited resources and their old age, even if money was tight most of the time, you never once stayed hungry and always felt loved. But now that the both of them were gone, you were all alone in the world and without being able to afford a college education, your future looked really depressing. The only thing you were looking forward to after working was watching your crime shows and crocheting.
You turned left, only needing to cross through the small park now and you would’ve been home, but when you started to descend the stairs at the entrance you were startled by a bright white light at the bottom. Being your clumsy self, you missed a step because of the distraction, your hand not grabbing the (probably disgustingly dirty) handle quick enough and you were falling forward.
Cursing you squeezed your eyes shut, bracing yourself for impact and hoping that the light you saw wasn’t some kind of new human trafficking tactic. But instead of landing on the hard concrete, everything around you turned so bright you even saw it though your eyelids, and when the light suddenly stopped, and you were still falling and falling and falling, you forced yourself to open your eyes.
Your scream got stuck in your throat, on one hand from all the air that was blowing in your face, and on the other from the view that revealed itself. For a moment you forgot that you were falling towards it, and just admired what seemed to be an almost endless jungle, that glowed like the bioluminescent algae you once saw on discovery channel.
But then your brain seemed to catch up after all and you let out a bloodcurdling scream when you realized that - as beautiful as the sight was - it was also coming closer and closer really fast. The only question bouncing around in your head was ‚What the hell was happening here?‘
The canopy came closer and closer and just before you hit it, you squeezed your eyes shut again, shutting your mouth out of instinct and shielding your head with your arms. It hurt like a bitch, the twigs and leaves scratching and slapping you on your way down, but simultaneously you were glad you hadn’t hit the ground or a big branch yet.
The trees were slowing you down quite a bit, but suddenly you did hit the ground with a thud. You just stayed there for a moment, contemplating if you were dead, but then you noticed that the „ground“ you hit, was moving and making noises, and suddenly you were hauled up by your upper arms, and sat on the real ground.
„What the hell?“, someone grumbled from the left and you finally opened your eyes, the adrenaline in your body blending out the pain from your injuries. What the fuck. What the actual fuck! You were sitting on the ground, surrounded by what seemed to be characters from the movie Avatar, but this couldn’t be real, could it?
You had of course seen the movie, it had been a huge success when you were like 13 or something, but that was a fictional world! This had to be a dream or something - nope it wasn’t, you were pinching yourself so hard you were sure you would bruise and you were still there - or maybe you died when you fell down those stairs? Oh god, oh god they were staring at you and damn they were tall what were you supposed to do oh-
„Who the hell are you?“, asked someone you immediately recognized - your brain was digging for the right memories. „I-I’m (Y/N)“, you stuttered out, your eyes wide opened as you scanned the people around you. The one who asked your name was Jake Sully if you remembered correctly and next to him should be…Neytiri. You didn’t recognize the others, but they liked a lot younger, there were a girl and two boys, the older looking one sat on the ground next to you and you realized you must have fallen on top of him. Your brain wasn’t really catching up to what was happening, and they seemed just as confused.
„Where did you come from?“, Jake’s eyebrows were now furrowed like he wasn’t sure what to make of you. „I’m from…I’m from Chicago? I really don’t know what happened I swear, I was just walking back from work and there was t-that light and I fell down the stairs and then I was falling and falling and oh god this can’t be happening, this is only supposed to be a movie-”, you were panicking and rambling on and on until Jake and Neytiri exchanged a look, and he bend down, effectively shutting you up.
„Okay take a deep breath kid“, he urged you and you did your best to force air into your lungs, suddenly wondering why you could even breathe here. If you remembered correctly the humans couldn’t breathe on the planet in the movies, and almost out of reflex you looked down at yourself, a helpless and kinda pathetic squeak leaving your mouth when you saw you were blue. „What the hell, why am I blue“, you didn’t even care about all the scratches that adorned your skin, the only thing that registered in your mind was that you were the same color blue as the people around you, you were even wearing the same stripes, just your clothes remained the same.
Your breathing picked up the more you panicked and before Jake could try to calm you down again, you passed out.
—————————
Neteyam watched the girl fall unconscious, and caught her quickly before she hit her head on the ground. It was weird, almost like an instinct. Since she fell on top of him he was a bit dazed - partly because he was questioning where she was coming from - but also because he was charmed by your beauty.
It was confusing, there were lots of beautiful girls in his clan, but the one that seemingly fell from the sky (from a weird place called sheekago?) and laid in his arms, made his heart pound in an unknown way. Before he could dwell on it, his family interrupted his thoughts and he finally snapped out of it.
„You think the sky people came back ma Jake? Is she with them?“, Neytiri looked at the young woman with suspicion, but Jake only shook his head and slowly pointed to the atokirina floating down from everywhere, landing on you for a moment before spreading into the forest again. „Eywa“, Kiri whispered, and looked at the girl with a small knowing smile.
————————
You woke up and the first thing you noticed was the dull pain all over your body. You were confused for a moment, wondering if something happened at work for you to wake up like this, but then you opened your eyes and saw the brown ceiling of a tent, everything came rushing back to you. Oh my god, you were blue, you were a blue alien!
You contemplated just laying there, staring at the ceiling some more and maybe this would all turn out to be alright, but a head popped into your focus. „You’re awake!“, the girl grinned and you cleared your throat a bit, taking a deep breath (as not to panick again) and sat up with her help.
Your body resisted because of all the cuts, but you managed and noticed they had all been treated with some kind of ointment that was a bit cooling. „My name is Kiri“, the girl introduced herself and you mustered a smile, looking around the tent curiously, „How are you feeling?“
„Kinda hurts“, you sighed and she smiled at that. „Considering you fell from who knows where, you’re pretty lucky! Also lucky that Neteyam cushioned your fall“, she grinned a bit, and you figured he must be the young man that sat next to you in the ground earlier. „Ugh that must’ve hurt too, is he okay?“, you worried that your first impression in this new world (or parallel universe or whatever) was already a bad one.
„My brother’s fine don’t worry“, she reassured you, „I’m going to get my dad, he said to tell him when you wake up!“ She gave you one last nod, before disappearing out of the tent and leaving you alone with your thoughts. This really didn’t feel like a dream, and you were starting to feel like it was a more permanent thing, but you were forcing yourself to stay calm.
Was ist really so bad? You didn’t particularly enjoy your life back in your universe or on your planet or whatever, so maybe this would be okay? Of course you had a few friends, but you worked so much to make ends meet, that you barely saw them, but other than that there wasn’t much.
You sat there and tried to rack your brain for any helpful details from the movie you would need, but you felt like the plot itself must already be like 20 years in the past here if your guess that Kiri is Jake’s daughter is right. You remembered the people living here were called Na‘vi and that they won a war against the humans and most of them left except for a few allies (you remembered the face of that one science guy that came here with Jake in the movie).
And of course you remembered the love story between Jake and Neytiri, which means if Neteyam is Kiris brother, he is also their son. „Hey there“, you were startled out of your thoughts by Jake, he was already kneeling next to you, but you must’ve been so lost in thought that you didn’t notice. „Oh! Hey“, you smiled timidly, not sure what would happen now, and suddenly well aware that you were practically defenseless and they could just abandon you in the jungle.
„I hope you feel a bit better?“, he started the conversation and you just nodded, a bit shy under the leaders gaze. Suddenly another woman entered the tent, and after a second your brain pulled out a name that sounded right - Mo‘at. „Is she feeling better?“, she asked Jake, a strict look on her face, making you shrink a bit.
„She hadn’t got a chance to answer yet“, he grinned and you immediately relaxed with his layed back attitude. „I do“, you nodded and hugged your knees to your chest for comfort, „still hurts a bit, but it’s better, thank you.“
„Do you think you can walk? Maybe we can figure out what happened over dinner, hm?“, Jake rose from his squatted position and held out a hand for you, and you nearly flinched when you saw that your own hand reaching for his was blue. You definitely had to get used to that, and you also would like to look into a mirror sometime soon.
You silently followed behind him, you knew he probably adjusted his pace to yours, you were really slow and limping a bit. Plus you were simultaneously taking in everything around you in wonder - it looked just like in the movie, but even more beautiful and majestic. It seemed to still be nighttime, so you couldn’t have been passed out for long, and you were overwhelmed by the glowing flora and fauna.
You were so distracted that you didn’t notice Jake stopped and you ran straight into his back. „Oh sorry“, you blushed and looked down, god could you make any more of a fool out of yourself? „Don’t worry kid“, he reassured you, and then pointed upwards into the big tree you were standing infront.
„For familydinner we have to climb up there, you think you can manage? Just follow my footsteps okay?“, you wondered if that was the military man speaking - wanting you to climb a tree when you had just fallen from the sky - but you had no choice, so you did your best. Jake was way quicker than you, but you did make it at least halfway before you cuts and bruises were taking too much of a toll on you.
„I’ll get her“, you heard quietly from somewhere above, Jake was already out of sight - it seemed like his muscle memory kicked in and he forgot about you until he was up there. You didn’t dare look down, you had always been a bit frightened of heights and were trying to hold on to your courage. Your heart was still thrumming in your chest and almost leapt out of it, when suddenly a tall Na‘vi landed next to you.
You bit back a frightened squeak and looked up at the familiar figure with big eyes. Neteyam. The one you fell on top off. Ugh, talk about embarrassment. „Are you alright?“, he asked, and it was the first time you heard his voice, since you passed out in the forest before you could. It was rich, dark but more sultry than his dads and made a shiver run down your spine involuntarily.
„(Y/N)?“, he smirked a bit and you couldn’t help but notice he remembered your name. But then you realized he was waiting for an answer and you were staring at him like an idiot. „Oh sorry! Uhh yeah, I’m just not used to climbing trees, plus I still kinda hurt all over“, you grimaced and looked up at him. It was crazy how you seemed to be in a Na‘vi body yourself now, but he was still towering over you by more than a head.
„Yeah my dad is like that sometimes, he forgot he was supposed to help you up until he was already at the top“, he chuckled making, „I’ll help you.“ You agreed and thought he would just pull you up now and then, but instead he firmly but still mindful of your injuries, hauled you onto his back and climbed the tree with you clinging onto him in shock.
You were up there three times faster than you were climbing before and he carefully set you down in the hut that was build in the tree. „T-thank you“, you were beyond flustered, you remembered - and saw here - that the Na‘vi had no problem with lots of naked skin, but only wearing a torn up summer dress and being pressed to Neteyams muscular back made you blush.
„You’re welcome sevin“, he grinned, but before you could ask what that meant, you were interrupted by his family. You swallowed and shrunk under their gazes, but you kind of felt safe with them, so you settled down around the food and started taking.
—————————
„That is crazy“, Lo‘ak was the first to break the silence you ended your story about what happened. And god was he right, it really was crazy. „Like I told you, it was Eywa“, Mo‘at looked a bit smug that she had been right from the start it seemed. It made the most sense that Eywa sent you here - considering the light, that you didn’t fall to your death and the atokirina the Sullys told you about.
You knew all their names now, Jake and Neytiri had Neteyam, Lo‘ak and Tuk, and Kiri was Grace‘ daughter - adopted by them. They were still speechless from what you had told them, reciting a summarized version of the movie to prove you were telling the truth and they didn’t know what to say.
„I think we should all probably sleep on this, it was a really long day“, Jake pulled everyone out of their thoughts, earning nods from everyone and and uncertain expression from you. Where would you go?
„Come on, you can sleep in my hut for now“, Kiri beckoned you to follow her and you were relieved they didn’t move you somewhere else, somewhere you would feel even more alone than here. „Thanks“, you told Kiri and then turned to the other Sullys, „and thank you for dinner and helping me!“ The Sullys wished you a good night, but only one particular pair of eyes on you made your heart speed up.
—————————
You had tried to keep it together the first few nights, thankfully falling asleep as soon as your head hit the hammock, because you were so exhausted. But it seemed like today it really sunk in that this would probably be your life from now on and you’d be here for the rest of it too.
You had been turning in your hammock too many times already trying to find sleep, so you finally gave up when the loud jungle noises drove you crazy and as quietly as possible snuck out the hut and onto the small platform in front of it, sitting down with your legs dangling in the air.
And then came the tears. It wasn’t that you were overly sad or missed your old life, it was just so so much to take in and so insanely overwhelming (you were blue for gods sake!) that you just couldn’t keep it together in that moment. And maybe you were mourning your old life a bit, but who could blame you for that - all the memories connected to your grandparents possessions, and maybe even your shitty job and apartment.
Trying to cry silently, you winced when someone sat next to you. „You okay?“, Kiri asked, bumping you gently with her shoulder in sympathy. „Yeah“, you tried to wipe your tears away, but she already saw them.
„And now again, but with an honest answer“, she squeezed your arm in encouragement and the tears were falling freely again, „are you okay?“ „Not really“, you sobbed, and to your surprise she immediately took you into her arms, making you feel comforted.
„You miss your home?“, she asked quietly while looking out into the glowing forest. „A bit, but not really it wasn’t a nice life I had there it’s just…a lot of change“, you mumbled and she hummed in understanding, continuing to hold you til you had cried it all out. Maybe that was what you needed in the first place - just to let it all out once and for all.
—————————
It had been almost two months already, and you were settling in as much as you could. You didn’t really miss your life back where you came from, putting your handcraft-skills to use was so much more fun than working in that dingy little kiosk. Plus, eventhough you didn’t have that many friends here, you were really close with Kiri and she was a much better friend than yours back at home. You two bonded over being kind off the weird girls of the clan, her with her deep connection to Eywa and you being the demon girl who fell from the sky.
It took some time getting used to your new body, you had looked into a mirror the second day you were here, and it surprised you that you still kinda looked like yourself, but you also didnt. You liked it though. The tail took some more time, as did the ears, because they more often then not acted without your permission and betrayed how you felt. But in true Omaticaya fashion, you were wearing the traditional tweng and chest covers (eventhough you felt a bit exposed at first), first borrowed from Kiri, but she quickly showed you how to make your own.
Other than Kiri, only Lo‘ak, Neteyam and of course little Tuk were honestly nice to you. The other Omaticaya girls your age either thought you were weird because of where you came from, or they seemed to dislike you because you interacted with Lo‘ak and Neteyam a lot - at least that’s what Kiri told you. You had just laughed at that, they were both nice and handsome of course and you might even have a little crush on the oldest Sully, but from what you’ve learned over the last months, he was the most sought after bachelor of the clan, so no way would he be into some former human who spend her day weaving with his little sister.
The Sullys (weirdly enough even Neytiri) took you in and Kiri didn’t mind sharing her hut with you for now. All the older Sully kids had their own smaller huts in the trees surrounding the family’s main one, so they had privacy until they moved out once they found a mate. They were all old enough to choose one already, but neither had picked one yet.
You on the other hand were reluctant to think about a future here, because you never knew if one day you would encounter that bright light again and be swept off back to your own world. You tried to blend that out in your everyday life here, but it was always looming over you.
The only thing you were missing from earth were books. Like, you loved going swimming with Tuk, foraging with Kiri or strolling through the forest with Neteyam when he wanted to show you something. But when you were alone, you really missed reading a good book. Which was why you were currently one the way back from the human outpost, having exchanged the book Norm gave you a week ago for a new one. Weirdly enough they actually did have quite a lot physical copies of books, curtsy of Grace from what Norm told you.
It was almost eclipse now, the forest starting to awaken in bioluminescence. Uh oh, this wasn’t good, considering you went alone when you shouldn’t have (but you didn’t want to bother anyone) and now you weren’t even halfway back to the village with nothing to defend yourself if you stumbled upon a predator.
Clutching the worn out copy of ‚Twilight‘ to your chest, you hurried along the familiar path and just crossed your fingers you would be fine and no one would find out you went alone. Eventhough your ears were alert, you were still tremendously startled when Neteyam suddenly landed infront of you. You stopped in your tracks as not to run into him and let out a frightened sound, before realizing who it was.
Oh no, he looked kinda angry. „What do you think you’re doing syulang?“, he sounded accusatory and eventhough you started to get a hang of the language, he refused to tell you what the little nicknames meant he called you. Consequently his siblings refused to aswell when you asked them, but not without giving you a stupid grin.
„I-I just wanted a new book?“, it sounded more like a guilty question then the innocent answer you wanted it to be. „Alone?“, you could see he was gritting his teeth trying to stay calm. „I didn’t want to bother anyone, it’s not that far! You didn’t have to come looking for me we’re almost there anyway“, you tried to protest weakly, eventhough the thought that he noticed you were gone and came looking for you (and knew you good enough to know where to look) made your heart race pathetically.
„Good thing I did though“, he raised an eyebrow and suddenly threw a small knife into the bush next to you, an animalistic howl ringing in the air before it was silent, „there was a stray viperwolf following you the last few minutes.“ Okay, maybe he was right after all and you really shouldn’t wander of too far on your own, especially not in the dark.
„Thank you“, was the only thing leaving your lips and Neteyam just rolled his eyes. He could never stay mad at you, even if he was angry with you for being so careless with your safety. Eywa, he really had a weak spot for you. Even now, looking so guiltily with your eyes glued to the forest floor, he thought you were the most beautiful woman he had ever seen. Ever since you fell on top of him, his heart felt like it was fate that you came into his world. He could see his siblings were suspecting his infatuation with you - considering their glances and smirks. But he couldn’t help that he was protective, even if his siblings giggled when he told them he was going to search for you earlier.
He was glad he did though, he didn’t want to think about what could have happened to you. Plus showing off in front of you was an upside too. „Come on, let’s get you home“, he ushered you forward, not able to resist his tail slipping around your thigh. Your own tail swaying behind you restless as a reaction made him smirk.
—————————
„That’s really what the book is about? That’s crazy“, Kiri laughed while you two walked to communal dinner. Most of the time the Sullys ate here with the rest of the clan, only sometimes would they eat in private. „Don’t judge before you read it“, you chastised her with a grin, but you got her - especially in this world a love story about vampires must sound insane.
You two settled down in your usual spot at the edge of the busy clearing, waiting for the hustle to calm down a bit before getting your food. „Yeah, no I’m defiantly judging. But to your credit, if you read something like that you must really be a hopeless romantic“, she dramatically held her heart and fanned her face in mockery, making you giggle and pinch her side.
„Who’s a hopeless romantic?“, a familiar voice interrupted your conversation, making you blush immediately. „Not me“, Kiri said with a grin, and when she saw what her brother was carrying it got even wider. „It’s nothing“, you just shook your head and your heart jumped a bit when Neteyam sat down next to you. He normally ate with the other hunters or his friends, and sitting next to him made you incredibly nervous. Especially because of all the eyes on you.
To your relief everyone minded their own business relatively fast again, and you noticed Neteyam was looking at you. „What is it?“, you were curious now, looking up into his kind eyes, ignoring Kiris chuckles. „Here, I brought you dinner“, you only now noticed he had two leaves with freshly cooked meat on them in his hands.
„Oh thank you!“, you were suprised, but kinda glad you didn’t have to make your way though the crowd yourself. „It’s from the hunt today, I brought the sturmbeest down by myself“, he smirked, and you nodded trying to seem impressed. You weren’t really in the hunting game plus you weren’t even sure what a sturmbeest looked like yet, but it was cute how proud he was.
„Wow, that’s cool! Thank you“, you smiled at him in appreciation and he gave you a blinding smile. „Nothing for me brother?“, contrary to what she said, she didn’t look mad - she was wiggling her eyebrows with a grin. „Ahh get lost Kiri“, Neteyam waved his hand in a dismissive gesture, but he actually seemed a bit embarrassed - was he blushing?
Kiri just rolled her eyes and left to get food, leaving you two alone. „What was that about?“, you smiled and he gave you a roguish little smile. „Nothing yawne, just eat“, he urged you with a gentle hand on your elbow that made your skin tingle. Huh, that was a new nickname, you wondered what it meant.
—————————
You shouldn’t have let Lo‘ak convince you. But you wanted to see an ikran so bad! You hadn’t wanted to ask anyone in case it was like something private or sacred not to be shared, but when Lo‘ak offered to take you to see his ikran when you were both in the village bored out of your mind, you had only needed a bit convincing to leave without telling anyone.
You werent sure if you really weren’t allowed to go, but Neteyam always seemed hell bent on keeping you from each and every risk possible, so you assumed that extended to encountering an ikran.
„Come on (Y/N) don’t slow down!“, Lo‘ak always seemed to have an infinite amount of energy and you did your best to keep up with him without falling on your face. „Are we almost there?“, you called ahead, just narrowly avoiding a branch that would’ve knocked you in the head otherwise.
„Yeah just a bit ahead“, he called back and you rolled your eyes - this was the fourth time he said that. But it seemed like he was telling the truth this time, because you broke out of the treeline and stopped on a wide open cliff, looking out onto the hallelujah mountains.
„Wow“, you were amazed by the sight, Lo‘ak grinning cheekily at your stunned face. „Pretty cool, huh?“, he asked, bumping you with his shoulder and you only nodded. Your brain couldn’t make sense of the flying rocks, making it even more magical.
Lo‘ak suddenly whistled and after a moment or two, a mighty beast shot upwards from the abyss infront of the cliff, startling you so much you let out shocked yelp. Lo‘ak snickered at his successful attempt to mess with you - and then his ikran landed infront of you.
It was towering over the two of you, screeching at Lo‘ak like a greeting and eyeing you with alert. „He’s a sweetheart, just don’t look into his eyes“, he was already petting the dragon-like creature. You immediately averted your eyes towards the ikrans body rather than his head.
„Come here slowly“, Lo‘ak motioned for you to move closer and you did, trying to keep calm as not to startle the creature who could probably eat you with two bites. „Here“, he smiled when you were standing next to him, taking your hand and laying it onto his banshee, the creature not startled by another hand on his back.
It felt similar to a snakes skin, but the colors were even more intense up close. „This is so cool“, you breathed and could almost feel his proud smile. You knew it wasn’t always easy for the younger Sully, but it made you happy how carefree he seemed in moments like that.
„Neteyam might kill me when he finds out, but you wanna go for a ride?“, he grinned mischievously. „Are you kidding? Hell yes!“, you nodded in excitement, infected by Lo‘aks troublemaker vibe, the thought of messing with perfectly correct Neteyam a bit (even if you thought that part of him was adorable) making you grin too.
„Come on then!“, he hopped into his ikrans back with ease, pulling you up behind him. „Hold on tight!“, was the last warning he gave and then you were off, flying and maneuvering the hallelujah mountains with excited squeals and shocked gasps when Lo‘ak wanted to show off.
„This is amazing!“, you called, taking in the otherworldly view around you and the thrilling feeling of flying on a banshee. Lo‘ak only laughed, and suddenly dipped down straight, making you squeak in terror.
It had been about an hour or so, when he suddenly stiffened a bit. „Uh oh, the fun police“, he groaned, and when you looked over his shoulder you saw Neteyam on his ikran, a bit farther away.
With a sigh, Lo‘ak was making his way over to the cliff where you started from, landing there and helping you down before bidding goodbye to his banshee. As soon as he was gone, Neteyam landed. His ikran was a mighty beast, even bigger and a bit meaner looking than Lo‘aks and the rider himself looked just as mad.
„What are you two doing here?“, Neteyam was addressing Lo‘ak right away, not even looking at you, and to your shock he was basically seething. „We were bored so I offered to show her my ikran“, to his credit Lo‘ak didn’t even flinch under his brothers angry glare, only rolling his eyes.
„Why do you always have to do the things you’re not supposed to?! Take things that aren’t yours?! Putting others in danger?!“, Neteyam was basically shouting, and even Lo‘ak looked a bit startled by his brothers intense reaction.
„Neteyam it wasn’t his fault“, you tried to calm down the older Sully, but it only seemed to work a bit when you gently squeezed his upper arm. „Yeah sooo I’m gonna go“, Lo‘ak took the chance to dip now that Neteam was distracted for a second and Neteyam almost went after him if it hadn’t been for you hanging onto his arm.
„Don’t be like that, he just took me flying. I don’t think I was ever in any real danger“, you tried to look as innocent and sweet as possible as not to get yelled at too. Neteyam looked down at you for a moment, scanning you over once and then sighing, losing all the tension he previously had.
„Yeah you’re right, it’s not really about the risk, it’s just that…“, he started but let the sentence hang in the air, turning his head away from you and you were wondering what was happening. „Come on, you can tell me“, your hand slipped down his arm almost on its own, taking his hand in yours and making him look back at you.
„If you wanted to see an ikran why didn’t you ask me?“, he looked a bit embarrassed when he finally spilled what he was bothered by and you were taken aback for a moment. „I didn’t necessarily want to see an ikran, I was just bored and Lo‘ak was free - if you would’ve been around I would’ve asked you Neteyam“, you didn’t know why exactly he was so bothered by Lo‘ak taking you to fly.
„You…wanna meet mine too?“, he motioned to the beast behind him with his head and a hopeful glint appeared in his eyes. „I‘d love to“, you agreed, happy to see his spirits lifted again, „but makeup with Lo‘ak later okay? And don’t be so hard on him.“ He begrudgingly agreed while pulling you over to his banshee, who didn’t look so mean anymore now that his rider wasn’t angry either.
—————————
Every once in a while the Sullys had family dinner together in their hut and not in the communal area with the rest of the clan, just like tonight. It was a bit chaotic but you loved it - and you especially loved that they naturally involved you as part of it.
Everyone was there already except Neteyam, and you were settling down in the middle of the hut, the food laid out in the middle. Lo‘ak was still in the corner, filling his waterskin, and was about to make his way to sit in the free place next to you, when his older brother came in, a bit out of breath.
„Sorry I’m late, incident at training“, he explained, and you had to look away quickly before your gaze would get caught on his flexing muscles as he laid down his bow. Kiri next to you snickered - she had known about your crush on her older brother ever since she saw you ogling him when all of you were at the river.
You didn’t really catch what happened next, only seeing Lo‘ak who was almost standing next to you, about to sit down, and suddenly it was Neteyam who sat there (closer than his brother would’ve ever sat), and a grumbling Lo‘ak was walking away to sit down next to his mother, who seemed amused by her eldest behavior.
Before you could dwell on it too much, your train of thought was interrupted by Jake, but the way Neteyams thigh brushed yours when he helped you to some food (he was such a sweetheart), before helping himself to some, distracted you significantly.
„So (Y/N) tell me, as a former human yourself, what do you miss most about earth, like foodwise?“, Jake addressed you with a grin. The topic of earth was the thing the both of you bonded most over and next to the actual humans here, it was nice to have someone who could empathize with your situation a bit closer. Plus, Jake loved playing these little games with you, even if you were kind of from the past - at least from his perspective.
„Uh that’s a hard one“, you had like a million foods and drinks you missed from earth you missed, „if I had to pick like top 5 I’d probably say Ice cream, Sushi, cheesecake, coffee and maybe a nice cold coke.“
Jake nodded like he approved of your choices and then added, „only thing I’m really really missing is an ice cold beer.“ It was so funny to see the confused looks of the other family members, and maybe that was what actually prompted Jake to talk about this, you thought with a grin.
„Or a bag of chips and Guacamole“, you added and the both of you were laughing while Neytiri fondly rolled her eyes and the siblings just continued eating in confusion. „I’m glad you have someone to play your stupid little games with other than the sky people ma Jake“, Neytiri acted like she was annoyed by Jake’s antics, but you could tell she loved exactly that about him.
The conversation shifted from human food to the training incident Neteyam talked about earlier, but you didn’t really listen, because you were concentrating on eating your food without chocking when Neteyams tail wrapped itself around yours.

„Come on (Y/N)!“, Tuk beckoned you into the water she was already splashing around in and with a grin you joined her there. All of the Sullys were busy today, so Neytiri had asked if you could accompany Tuk to the Lagoon she was begging everyone to go to for days. It wasn’t that far, so it was safe, Tuks mother reckoned.
„Wanna see how good I can jump?“, Tuk was so excited to finally come here, that she was bouncing around like crazy, but her enthusiasm infected you too. „Of course! Show me!“, you laughed with her, sitting on a rock that was only a little submerged in the lagoon - you could see her jumping from the boulder perfectly from there.
It went on like that for a few hours, the two of you hanging out by the lagoon, talking, laughing and you even decorated her hair with little flowers. It made you a bit nostalgic, back on earth - if you would’ve had the money for college - you would’ve loved being a kindergarden teacher and hanging out with Tuk kinda made you wonder if you were to have your own children some day. You tried to bury the thought of her older brother as their father just as quickly as it came.
„Hey you two!“, as if you had summoned him, Neteyam strolled out of the bushes and Tuk excitedly leapt of the rock you two were sitting on, swimming over to her brother. „Neteyam!“, she threw herself into his arms wet as she was, but he didn’t seemed to mind and only caught her with a loud laugh. Damn, that didn’t really help stifle your previous thoughts.
„You’re having a good time?“, he smiled at her and she nodded vigorously, already moving around to be let down from his arms. „Yes! I wanna show you how good I can jump now!“, before he could even answer, she already ran over to the boulder she was jumping from the last few hours. „Give me a second, I’ll watch from over there“, Neteyam called out to her and when he pointed to you, and dived headfirst into the water like a pro, you had to admit you got a bit wet in your tweng.
He surfaced right in front of you and you could only look at him with a flustered expression - you didn’t think you would ever forget his smirking face right in front of your slightly spread legs. Before you could slip further into a naughty fantasy, he moved to the side and pushed himself up and you had to force yourself to move your eyes as to not ogle his wet and muscular body.
„Neteyam! Neteyam look!“, Tuk screamed before jumping into the water head first and the both of you laughed at her enthusiasm. „I don’t get how she has so much energy, she’s been doing that for hours“, you smiled and shook your head in disbelief. „Yeah, sometimes I wish I had that much energy too“, he grinned and playfully bumped your thigh with his.
God, the size difference between your kinda squishy one (you reckoned you had some human features because the female Navis were all corded muscle) and his thick muscular one was making you flustered, especially when he didn’t pull it away, instead keeping it pressed to yours.
„You did great Tuk!“, Neteyam called over to his little sister who had just emerged and tried to calm his racing heart at feeling you pressed up right next to him. He had waited for you to settle in fully, and it took some time for him to sort out the things you made him feel, but he decided he couldn’t wait anymore and started courting you when he heard the other male hunters talk about making a move on you. The thought alone made his tail move over yours.
Tuk continued showing of her jumps, while Neteyam worked up the courage to give you his gift. You had accepted the meat he gave you at dinner yesterday, the one he had hunted for you, so you should also accept the necklace he made you, but he was nervous still. Taking a deep breath, he fished the jewelry out of the little bag that was strapped to his loincloth and turned a bit towards you.
„I made something for you“, Neteyam said next to you and you averted your eyes from Tuk to look at what he meant. In his hands laid a beautiful necklace out of thin leather stripes with what you identified as gemstones braided in, and it looked almost identical to the one he was wearing. „Really? You made that for me?“, you looked up at him .
Neteyam had to remind himself that his little sister was still jumping around happily a few feet away, otherwise he would have kissed you on the spot. „Yeah“, he was breathless from the way you were staring up at him and the anticipation of your answer to his offering. „It’s beautiful 'Teyam. Can you help me put it on?“, you smiled at him and he almost lost his grip on the necklace when you called him that nickname.
„Of course“, the grin his face was sprouting was making your heart feel like it was expanding in your chest, so you quickly turned around for him to fasten the necklace. His fingers gently brushed your hair to the side and left a path of tingles in their way. The necklace was more like a choker and considering it was a gift from him, the thought sent a slight shiver through you.
When you turned around again, the way his necklace sat snugly against your pretty throat satisfied some primal side of him. Everyone could see who they had to answer to now if they decided to make a move on you, he thought with a smirk. „Thank you“, your pretty blush made him go feral and when you took his hand and squeezed it, he would’ve kissed you - if it hadn’t been for the water suddenly showering you two. „You aren’t even watching!“, Tuk complained, pouting in the water a few feet away.
——————————
„Pretty necklace you got there“, Kiri was smirking at you the next morning, when her, Tuk, Lo‘ak and you went foraging - but instead sat on a clearing and talked. „Oh thanks, 'Teyam gave it to me“, you smiled, your hand automatically reaching for the chocker like it had done many times til he gave it to you. „Teyam?“, Lo‘ak was grinning mischievously and you could feel yourself blush.
„You’re so in love it’s almost disgusting“, Kiri laughed, and you were rendered speechless for a moment. „I think it’s cute! When you two are mated, you’re our sister, that will be so cool!“, Tuk seemed excited, but you looked at them with wide eyes. „Why would we be mated?“, you pressed out and they all paused in their teasing.
„What?“, Kiri asked confused, „what do you mean? He’s been courting you for the last two weeks.“ She was looking at you like it was selfexplanatory. „He’s been what?!“, your voice took on a shrill note and you sat ramrod straight. „He hunted that sturmbeest for you and brought you the meat, sits with you at dinner even if he almost has to take me out for the seat, made you that necklace, took you flying after getting insanely jealous over me taking you for a flight and is way over the top protective over you?“, Lo‘ak looked at you as if you were stupid, but now that they labeled what had been happening as courting, every interaction with him ran through your mind with a different filter.
„You’ve broken her“, Tuk whined and snapped you out of your trance. „He’s…he’s been courting me? Why didn’t he say anything?“, you whispered and were surprised they heard you. „You really didn’t know?“, Kiri looked a bit shocked. „No! I’m not from here, remember? How would I know that? 'Courting‘ in my world is vastly different!“, you started panicking a bit.
„But you like him don’t you? I mean it’s quite obvious you two are into eachother“, Lo‘ak shrugged and didn’t really seem to see a problem here. „I-I do, a lot, but I still can’t mate with him“, you blushed when suddenly you realized what that mating would include but pushed the thought to the side.
„What? Why? Don’t you wanna be my sister?“, Tuk climbed over her older brother in order to sit in your lap, hitting him in the face with her tail in the process, making Kiri giggle. „Oh Tuk“, you cuddled her close, „I’d love to be your sister. I’m just worried about the possibility that one day the light that brought me here will take me back again - and I’d be gone just like that. It’s better not to form such permanent attachments as mating, no matter how much I like your brother.“
„Eywa brought you here for a reason (Y/N). You said you didn’t like your life on earth and I think she sent you here to live a happier life - a life with my brother“, Kiri tried to reassure you, but you still weren’t convinced. „Yeah (Y/N), he’s so in love with you, he’s never acted like that before. There are so many willing females throwing themselves at him, but he doesn’t even glance at them, because he’s only looking at you“, Lo‘ak looked as serious as you’ve never seen him before.
„Promise me you’ll at least talk to him? Soon? But knowing him I can tell you that much - he’d rather take all the time he can get with you even if it’s limited, than not having any time with you at all“, Kiri wisely told you and you sighed, nodding and hugging Tuk closer to you.
„Plus, I really hope you’ll stay here too“, Kiri almost seemed a little bashful, „you’re the best friend I’ve ever had.“ You looked at her and tried to stop yourself from tearing up. „Come here“, you opened your arms and beckoned her to join yours and Tuks hug, hugging her tightly when she finally moved with a roll of her eyes. „You’re the best friend I’ve ever had too Kiri“, you smiled and she squeezed you gently as a response.
„For what it’s worth, I think you’re pretty cool too“, Lo‘ak chimed in from next to you with a grin and after exchanging a mischievous grin, you and Kiri pulled him into the hug too with a laugh, ignoring the groaning Tuk (and Lo‘ak).
It seemed like you really had found a family here too. And it was weird to think that Neteyam really returned your feelings, for gods sake he was courting you! Your heart wanted to jump out of your chest and you just prayed that Eywa would give you a sign or anything else to let you know you would never have to go back and could spend your life here - and that you could accept his advances and stay here with all of them.
————————
Neteyam decided he couldn’t wait anymore and would ask you to be his mate tonight. You seemed to accept his courting and he just wanted you to be his. So he decided to talk to his parents about this, eventhough he was sure they had already heard through gossip that he was courting you - and by gossip he meant Kiri and Lo‘ak.
„Mom, Dad, can we talk for a moment?“, he weirdly enough had found his parents in the same place - they were at home sorting through herbs. He could only guess they were told by his grandmother to do so. At his appearance they stopped their work and he settled down with them. „It’s about (Y/N)“, his mother guessed and gave him a knowing smirk and he was almost offended by how easy he was to read.
„(Y/N)? What about her?“, Jake was confused and Neteyam was reassured that it seemed to at least be only his mother that could see right through him. Then again, his dad was generally pretty clueless about things like that. „Ma Jake, he’s been courting her for two weeks now“, Neytiri rolled her eyes at his dads density.
„What, really? And does she know that?“, Jake asked and Neteyam and his mother were looking at him in question. „She accepted my gifts and the meat I hunted for her, and my offers to spend time with her if you mean that“, Neteyam shrugged and his stomach fluttered when he thought about you.
„No, what I mean is, that she’s not from here, humans don’t 'court' like Na‘vi do, are you sure she knows what you’re doing is leading to you two being mated?“, his father explained himself, „Because I’m not sure anyone ever explained that part of our culture to her.“ Mother and son were in thought for a moment, as they had to grasp the concept that she was from a completely different world - she had adapted so well they forgot about that sometimes.
When none of them said anything, Jake cleared his throat and continued. „I don’t doubt she likes you, even your daft old dad sees that, and I’m not telling you she will say no or anything - just be patient with her because she might not expect it, okay?“, he reassured his oldest son. „Thank you Dad“, Neteyam nodded gratefully and then looked over to his mom, „but the reason I came here for originally was to ask for both of your approval and permission to ask her to be my mate tonight.“
His parents exchanged a fond glance, proud of the man their son had become and proud of his choice. „Of course you have our approval. (Y/N) might not be able to become Tsahìk without training, but my mother and I talked to Kiri about this possibility - and she is more than suited and willing to take on that role when the time comes, Neytiri smiled encouragingly at her older son, happy that he found someone to spent his life with.
„Your mother is right, you’re perfect for eachother“, his dad clapped his back proudly and Neteyam felt significantly lighter than when he arrived in the family’s hut. „I think you should know that you might need to keep a closer eye on her if you announce your bond though“, his mother looked a bit thoughtful, „I heard that some of the other woman already suspect your affections for her and they don’t seem to be happy about being overruled by what they perceive as an outsider.“
Neteyams previously light mood, darkened in record time. His mother thought they would compromise you somehow? He couldn’t even fathom the thought of you being hurt, but he knew you weren’t the best at defending yourself so if they caught you alone it was absolutely possible. „Don’t worry Neteyam, we’ll all keep an eye on her“, his Dad try to calm him, the dangerous glint in his eyes unsettling him. „Thank you, both of you“, he gestured a goodbye to his parents, „I’m going to find her now.“
—————————
He had been searching for you a while before he found Kiri who told him you were off reading again, on the small Plattform he had showed you weeks ago that was high up in the trees. With a grin he had run off, that actually fit perfectly into his plans. The platform was private and cozy, just right to ask such an important question.
When her reached the tree, it started to get dark slowly and he quickly climbed upwards. He could hear you turn a page when he was close and when he could finally see you his chest got all warm. You were so beautiful, tucked into the corner with the blanket you brought and completely immersed in your book.
„Hello yawne“, he grinned when you were startled and looked at him in surprise. „Don’t scare me like that 'Teyam!“, you playfully scolded him and sat upright, closing your book after marking the page. With a soft smile, he moved onto the platform and sat down on the bouncy material next to you, so close he could see you blush a little - but when you seemed to automatically lean into him a bit, his heartbeat quickened ridiculously.
He didn’t know where to begin. „What is it?“, you looked at him in worry and carefully took his hand, yours so small and delicate in his. He immediately cradled it lovingly. „You always asked me what the nicknames I called you meant“, he started and stroked the back of your hand with his thumb.
„Yes“, you were a bit breathless at the affection he was showing you. „Syulang means flower, because you’re just as unique as every single one on this moon“, he gently pushed a piece of hair out of your face and your eyes widened in wonder. „Sevin means beauty, because you are the most beautiful woman I’ve ever encountered“, he whispered, his tail moving to tangle with yours and your breath momentarily stopped.
„Neteyam“, was the only thing you could whisper, not knowing if you wanted him to stop or to keep going. He sent you a shaky smile and moved his head closer to yours, almost touching your forehead to eachother. „Yawne means beloved“, his breath hit your face softly and you could guess what came next, closing your eyes in agony, „because I love you. Eywa (Y/N) I love you so much and I see you. Oel ngati kameie. I’m yours, if you’ll have me. Be mine? Be my mate?“
You wanted him so bad, you wanted to love him and you wanted to let him love you - but you couldn’t. You couldn’t bare the thought of leaving him behind if you would encounter the light that brought you here again. And you had every intention to tell him, but when you opened your eyes and looked into his golden ones, so full of love and desire you were left speechless.
His hand slipped to your cheek, and you noticed how he moved in even closer - just a tilt of your head and you would’ve been kissing your love. Closing your eyes again, you couldn’t bear to see the heartbroken look on his face as you pulled away from him. „I can’t Neteyam“, you had to force the words out, your heart not wanting to say them at all.
It was silent for a second and you thought maybe he was gone as quickly as he came, but a big firm hand pulling your face back around proved you wrong. „Did I do something wrong? I thought you accepted my courtship, did I read you wrong? Please (Y/N) look at me“, he pleaded with you, the desire and love in his eyes now overridden by panic.
„No! No you didn’t do anything wrong and you didn’t read me wrong I do…I do love you“, your heart couldn’t take hie broken expression, even if you couldn’t be with him you had to atleast make sure he knew it wasn’t him. He brightened up a little at that, but his ears were still low and close to his head. „What is it then? Talk to me yawne, please“, he looked so concerned for you and was so gentle still, that you were sure he would be the right choice if you could let yourself be his.
„I didn’t…realize you were courting me at first, not until your siblings pointed it out to me“, you started to explain yourself, trying to keep your composure. „When they told me I was elated at first that you returned my feelings, but then…then I realized I could be pulled out of this world any moment again, we can’t be sure it won’t happen and I can’t bear the thought of leaving you, especially not after making the bond“, you continued, „not to mention that you’re the next leader of your clan and some people still see me as a demon, it’s not an appropriate match anyway.“
„Bullshit“, Neteyam blurted out after a moment of silence, repeating something that his father said when he’s frustrated. You just looked at him with wide eyes. „You’re perfect for me, the clan will have to deal with that, most of them have accepted you already. I already talked to my parents and they approve yawnetu, Kiri will be Tsahìk when the time comes and they love you, they couldn’t think of someone better for me either“, he ranted on and you had to smile at his vigor to convince you, your hand gently stroking his cheek.
„You forgot the most important part“, you sighed, letting your hand fall down. He caught it and pressed it back to his cheek, not willing to lose that feeling. „I don’t care. I’d rather have only a year, a month or a week with you than not have you at all“, he was desperate, wishing you would just let him love you. „I can’t“, you were on the verge of tears, he could see it and his heart broke even more. „Maybe Eywa sends a sign, letting me know I won’t ever go back, but we don’t know that will happen“, this was worse than all the scenarios he thought about, knowing you wanted him too, but feeling like you couldn’t was torture.
„Do you want to? Go back I mean?“, he suddenly asked, catching you off guard. You were lost in thought for a moment. Back home? Was it even home anymore? You missed your true crime and your crochet, and going to the bar with your friends once in a while, but that was nothing compared to what you’d miss if you would go back. You couldn’t even fathom how much it would hurt to leave all of this behind.
„No. Never“, you shook your head decisively.
—————————
You were essentially hiding from Neteyam the last two days. He was somehow convinced if he would just dote on you enough he would get Eywa to send a sign and you to agree to mate with him. It was probably not working on Eywa, but your resolve on the other hand was crumbling with every sweet gesture and every gentle touch. That’s precisely why you were avoiding him, trying to stop yourself from falling into his arms.
But you couldn’t run forever and Kiri had bullied you into attending communal dinner tonight, so there you were, making your way to your usual spot to meet her. „Evening (Y/N)“, someone greeted you from behind and you stopped in your tracks, and turned around. To your surprise it was Au‘tel, one of the hunters from the clan - not nearly as impressive as Neteyam though. You had to reprimand yourself for thinking about him.
„Good evening“, you smiled at him politely, still wondering what he could possibly want from you. He had never talked to you before now. „I brought you some of the food“, he grinned and held out a portion of cut up fruits, and your eyes widened. Now that you knew what it meant, you couldn’t possibly accept what seemed to be a courting gesture.
You were raking your brain for an acceptable rejection, when you felt him before you even saw him. His hand possessively went around your waist and you could feel your heartbeat in your throat. This wasn’t good. „She doesn’t need you to provide food“, he was basically growling at the other man, you had never heard Neteyam sound so venomously, Au‘tel shrinking visibly under the larger man’s glare.
„Sure, I apologize“, he was gone as suddenly as he came, and you were glad he scurried away instead of talking back, because you were sure Neteyam wouldn’t have hesitated to hurt him. Suddenly you were very aware of how quiet it was around you, the people eating dinner pausing and looking at the scene unfolding infront of them.
Oh god, that were definitely way too many eyes on you, and they were looking curiously at the way their future leader was still holding you closely. And the way some of the other young women were eyeing you with murderous envy was making you panic, pulling yourself out of Neteyams grip hastily and disappearing into the forest quickly. You would apologize to Kiri later.
You were blushing massively and breathing too quickly, not even knowing where you were going. You had to admit it was kind of hot how he staked his claim on you, but then you remembered all the people looking at you, judging you and you were so blinded by the tears that were suddenly running down your face from your feelings that were pulling you into all different directions the last few days, that you nearly missed the steep cliff that suddenly opened up infront of you.
You gasped, trying to stop yourself from falling down into the dark abyss, but you couldn’t catch yourself anymore and you were sure you would’ve fallen hadn’t it been for Neteyam. You didn’t even notice him following you, but thank Eywa he did, pulling you back from the cliff and into his chest safely.
Neteyams heart almost fell out of his chest when he saw you nearly fall down that cliff, holding you even tighter at the thought of what could’ve happened. „You’re okay, you’re okay“, he tried to soothe not only you but him, turning you around and pulling you into a tight hug.
You let yourself be held for a moment, just enjoying the close proximity you had forbidden yourself the past days, before pulling yourself away from his chest and wiping your tears away. He reluctantly let you go, not looking happy with having you leave the safety of his arms. „Thank you 'Teyam“, you mumbled, looking to the ground and trying move around him to go back to Kiris hut to just sleep. You really lost your appetite anyway.
„Don’t go“, he pleaded, trying to hold you back, but you shook him off. „I told you we can’t. You shouldn’t have done that back there, everyone saw“, you looked up at the taller Na‘vi in desperation. „Good. Let them see who you belong to, so no other skxwang will try to make a move on you“, he was basically seething at the thought of that idiot trying to court you back at dinner.
You were stunned at the intensity of his possessiveness for a moment, some primal part of you was urging you to lay down and mate with that perfect male, but you quickly squashed the thought. „Don’t…don’t say that“, you whispered, and Neteyam seemed to realize all too quickly what effect he had on you and stepped closer.
„Why? Does it make you want to mate with me?“, he was smirking, something rumbling deep in his broad chest, his pectorals flexing under your gaze. You knew if you would’ve stayed only a second longer you would’ve given yourself to him - so you ran.
—————————
You knew it was childish and you had to talk about it, but you just needed a day to have some peace and quiet. In the morning you had immediately fled the trees that housed the Sullys huts and settled in a small clearing with a basket to weave and keep you occupied until you were ready to go back.
You were seriously contemplating giving into your heart and accepting Neteyam, but you just couldn’t shake the image of a heartbroken Neteyam if you really would be taken back someday. You knew what happened to Na‘vi when their mates died (and you doubted disappearing would be different), and you didn’t want Neteyam to wither away slowly because of you. Not if he could’ve had a chance to live a happy life with someone else some day if you were sent back - but mating with him and making the bond would rob him of that.
It was already getting dark and you knew you had to go back, so you slowly made your way through the forest, holding your finished basket in one hand. You were a few minutes away from the Sullys huts, when you encountered Saelia, Nes‘ti and Tizon, three of the women who were thought to be picked as Neteyams mate - if it hadn’t been for you.
„Look what we’ve got here“, Nes‘ti laughed when they spotted you and you just looked at them like a deer caught in the headlights. „It’s the demon“, Saelia chuckled darkly, „probably coming from a secret date with Neteyam.“
Oh no, this wasn’t going to turn out pretty, you thought as they stepped closer to you. „I don’t see it, do you?“, Nes‘ti was eyeing you in mockery. „No, no I really don’t“, Tizon cackled, and they exchanged glances. „See what?“, you had the courage to ask, but realized immediately that was stupid. They suddenly dropped the fake humor and looked at you in rage.
„See whatever the hell he sees in you!“, Saelia spit out, taking a step forward and startling you. „Yeah we have been wondering what it could possibly be, you’re not even one of the people, and you managed to take Toruk Maktos eldest son“, Tizon pushed you back by the shoulders, and you stumbled back, luckily catching yourself.
„Yeah, he’s been completely ignoring us ever since you fell out of the fucking sky!“, Saelia seemed to be seeing red and suddenly pushed you back way harder than Tizon did, making you stumble and you turned trying to catch yourself. Your foot got caught on a root, and you fell head first against a rock laying on the ground, effectively splitting your forehead open.
„You shouldn’t have done that!“, you heard them bickering behind you. „What?! You did it too!“, someone hissed back, and you felt them scurry away quickly, now that they realized they injured you. Groaning you sat up, already feeling the blood running down your face. Great. This was just great.
——————————
„Ouch“, you hissed as Neytiri cleaned the cut on your forehead, but her grip on your chin stayed firm. „Now, tell me how this happened, and no lies this time“, she berated you. Maybe trying to sell that you only fell wasn’t the smartest idea with her - would’ve worked with Jake though. „It was just those stupid girls, pestering me about Neteyam“, you sighed and she looked down at you in concern.
„They hit you?“, she inquired further, putting some paste on the cut now that it stopped bleeding and it immediately soothed the stinging. „No, they pushed me around and I tripped“, you recounted the events from earlier, and looked up at her. She finished up with your cut and sat down next to you in her family’s hut.
„And now tell me what else is bothering you child“, you rarely saw her this gentle and took a deep breath. „It’s just… Neteyam and I-“, you were suddenly interrupted by Neteyam and Lo‘ak coming into the hut, and your eyes immediately found his.
„What the hell happened“, against your expectations Neteyam was deathly calm while looking at the cut on your forehead. This seemed to be even worse than his anger, considering his mother and brother left the hut immediately. You were scrambling up, standing on the woven material the floor was made out of, and tried to think of something to say.
Neteyam crossed the space between you in seconds, cradling your face gently despite his obvious anger simmering underneath the surface. „What. Happened.“, he asked again, and as if he could sense you were trying to think of an excuse he added, „and don’t even think about lying to me.“
„It…it was just those girls“, you started, but his eyes told you his anger was flowing over. „They didn’t mean to! The were just pushing me, I fell by accident“, you tried to calm him down, because eventhough you didn’t like those girls, you didn’t wish Neteyams wrath upon them either.
„Nobody hurts you“, he hissed, his jaw clenched tightly, letting go of you slowly and turning towards the door. „Wait, don’t do this Neteyam“, you tried to hold him back, but he was walking towards the entrance with purpose, and you just stood there helplessly thinking of things that could convince him to stay.
„Neteyam! Please!“, you called for him, but it seemed like he was in tunnel vision, not snapping out of it. So you did the only thing that came to your mind right then. „Kiss me!“, you blurted out, and that indeed made him stop in his tracks.
„What did you say?“, he sounded agitated still, his back to you, but at least he stopped moving. „Kiss me, please“, you whispered in a desperate attempt to keep him there - and also because you finally let your heart speak its mind.
He turned around slowly, like a predator not wanting to scare its prey, and looked into your eyes for a moment. He seemed to find what he was searching for, because in seconds he wrapping one arm around your waist pulling you close, while the other gently cupped your face - then he bend down and his lips were on yours.
It was passionate and needy from the start, his lips were slightly rough against your soft ones, but it was the perfect fit. They moved in sync, his tongue carefully finding its way into your mouth, and you couldn’t hold back the whimper that left your throat at the animalistic way he claimed you right there.
Your little sound egged him on even more, greedy hands pulling you closer, because now that he finally had you in his arms, so soft and pliable, he was gonna make damn sure to show you how much he loved you - how much he wanted you. His tails possessively wrapped around your thigh, while he felt like for the first time in his life he was complete. Like this was where he needed to be.
The kiss turned softer, full of love and desire, his hands roaming your waist, grasping your hips while you clung onto his biceps, his muscles flexing under your grip. He was basically kissing you senseless, you didn’t know up and down, you only knew where he was. The feeling of his lips was exhilarating, and you wanted nothing more then to give yourself to him fully - but you couldn’t .
Finally needing to breathe, you pulled back slightly, smiling when the tall warrior chased your lips desperately. „Say you’re mine (Y/N)“, Neteyams voice was husky, a raspy, primal edge in his words. „I am 'Teyam. I always was“, you sighed, not being able to lie to him anymore, he deserved to know, even if you couldn’t make the bond with him yet.
Hearing your say that you were his made a growl rise in his throat that seemed almost instinctual, acknowledging that he had you, not only in his arms but he had your heart. „Just…just hold me tonight?“, your breathless whisper made his heart swell. „Of course, yawne“, he smiled happily, knowing this was a step towards mating with you, even if you wouldn’t tonight.
He swept you off your feet, grinning at the little squeak you let out at his sudden action, and carried you quickly into his hut. It was in a tree close to the Sullys, but from all of his siblings it was the farthest away. You had your face buried in his neck, and the way he could feel your lips ghosting over it distracted him like crazy.
There were no words exchanged between you two, Neteyam laid you down on his bed gently, pulling you into his arms immediately and wrapping his tail around your waist for security. Having you in his arms, all safe and warm and smelling so good, made him feel a bone deep satisfaction that almost scared him - he could never lose you.
————————————
It wasn’t as hard as you would’ve thought to resist Neteyam the next day, because he was gone for an out of the ordinary hunting trip until dinner was almost over. When Jake had told him in the morning he had to accompany the hunting party, he had almost refused to go because he wanted to stay with you. But with a bit of sweet encouragement (and the promise of more kisses when he returned) you were able to convince him.
After the events from last night, you had been praying to Eywa regularly throughout the day to just please, please send you a sign so you could fully be with the Olo‘eyktans son. But there was nothing so far, dampening your mood significantly.
You were pulled from your thoughts, when suddenly someone sat next to you, pulling you into his arms. „'Teyam“, you giggled when he kissed your cheek gently, turning so you could look at him better. Eywa, he looked so handsome with his visor and bow still sling over his back. „Hello syulang“, he mumbled into your ear and you hummed contentedly.
Before either of you could get any more handsy infront of the clan, your ears were assaulted by a loud 'woosh' sound, the fires that were burning blown out and in the middle of the clearing was something that made you heart stop. The white light that had brought you here.
Everyone was frozen, staring at the slightly pulsing and swaying white orb, that looked otherwise harmless, when you were pulled out of your rigor by Neteyams arms tightening around you. You looked at him and could see the horror in his eyes, knowing exactly what that was from the description you had given him.
You felt like this was it, this was your sign, and somehow you had the urge to get a bit closer. You were wondering why Neteyam let you go so easily, but you felt like you were in trance, having to face the thing that changed your life.
Everyone else didn’t move, looking either at you or still at the light, and you slowly moved through the crowd. Did this mean you had to go back home? Your thoughts strayed to your apartment, your books probably still sitting on the side table. Your crochet blanket abandoned on the couch. The little dingy kiosk you worked in, your rude neighbor complaining about going up the stairs too loud.
You stopped infront of the light. Was that home? You raised your hand a bit. But back where you came from, that wasn’t really home.
Home was gossiping with Kiri while weaving baskets, and trying to talk Lo‘ak out of whatever stupid thing he had planned again (but going along with it in the end). It was swimming with Tuk and reading in that hammock above the trees. It was laying in Neteyams arms, falling in love with him.
This was the sign you had been praying for, Eywa was giving you the choice to stay here or to go back. You smiled for a moment, lowering your hand and turning to where you knew Jake and Neytiri were sitting. „I’d like to stay if that’s okay“, you were talking quietly, but going by the leaders grin, he heard you loud and clear.
As if the tension snapped, the light disappeared into the sky as quickly as it came, the fires mysteriously burning again, and then you were engulfed by a happily sobbing Kiri. Tuk was clinging to your leg and even Lo‘ak joined the hug making you laugh in relief. „I’m so glad you stayed tsmuke“, Kiri grinned, before letting go to let her parents step forward. [sister]
To your surprise, Neytiri pulled you into a hug too, followed by Jake and you were smiling but also blushing a bit from all the attention. Not to mention the clan cheering around you. „Thank you (Y/N), thank you for staying“, Neytiri said, Jake squeezing your shoulder in gratitude and you know they meant 'thank you for not breaking our sons heart’.
But where was said son? Kiri pulled you close, seemingly knowing what you were thinking when you were looking around searching for him. „When he saw you raise your hand he took off, I don’t know where he went“, she looked concerned, and you knew why - Neteyam probably thought you were going to take the chance to go back home when you had raised your hand for a moment.
———————————
He didn’t know how long he had been running through the forest, he didn’t feel the leaves hitting his face or the bark scratching his body when he passed the trees to close. He was panting, trying to suppress the feelings that would be his downfall, but when he arrived in the hammock you were always reading in - his brain leading him there instinctively - and the last book you’ve read laid there forgotten, he broke down.
You reached out for the light, you left him, leaving him alone in this world while you went to another. He couldn’t even bear to watch you disappear, his heart feeling like it was shriveling up and dying at the thought that he would never get to see you again. Hold you in his arms, feel your lips on his like last night. He couldn’t even blame you for wanting to go back, if he would be thrown into another world he would probably want to too.
He could feel tears streaming down his face and the way he began to panic, the book you were holding in your hands just two days ago taunting him, and he felt like he could hear you call his name. 'Teyam!' he was sure he was hallucinating your voice, kneeling down infront of the book in anger, begging Eywa to make it stop.
The pain mixed with your soft voice drove him insane and he was about to rip the book apart in anger, when your voice suddenly sounded a lot closer and a lot more real.
„Don’t you dare destroy my book 'Teyam“, you had known exactly where he would go when he was this upset about you, finding him in the hammock just like you thought. Your heart was breaking for the man you loved, he seemed to be so broken thinking that you were gone.
But when he heard your voice so close, he finally seemed to snap out of it, his eyes meeting yours and a sob left his mouth. „You’re not real“, he whispered, shaking his head in desperation and you immediately scrambled closer with a concerned look on your face.
„I didn’t leave, I’d never leave you Neteyam“, you promise him, your hands settling on his cheeks and making him look into your eyes again. „But…but you reached out to the light…you left“, he whimpered, not sure if he should believe you or not. „If you would’ve stayed two seconds longer, you would’ve seen I decided to stay, stay here with you“, you smiled, wiping away his tears, but he still seemed reluctant.
„This can’t be real“, his eyes moved over you in wonder, seemingly trying to decide if you were really here or just a bittersweet trick his mind was playing on him. Until he felt a sharp pinch on his biceps, looking at you slightly offended. „You believe I’m real now?“, you grinned, and when it sunk in that you really were here, that you stayed for him, he tackled you to the floor (carefully of course) and pressed his lips to yours.
Now that you knew you would never have to leave and could be with him fully, the kiss felt different than before. Less desperate and more on the deeper side, your emotions running at an all time high. You pulled back slightly, blushing at the way he was laying on top of you and looking at you with hooded eyes full of passion.
„This sign…it means I’ll never leave 'Teyam“, you whispered, a bit flushed from the kiss and from what you were trying to insinuate. His eyes immediately darkened in understanding. „Please say it. Please say you’ll be my mate“, his voice was husky, and as if that wasn’t enough, with the way he was laying between your legs, you could feel a very prominent bulge pressing right up against your moist tweng.
You nodded your head with a gentle smile. „I’m yours if you’ll still have me. Please take me ma 'Teyam“, you bit your lip in nervousness, not usually this bold, but the way a punched out groan left his mouth made it worth it.
He couldn’t hold back anymore when you called him the pet name usually reserved for mated couples, pulling you into another kiss immediately. You were finally his, and he would make sure to show you and everyone else that you belonged to him - some primal side of him set free at the permission to finally bond and mate with you.
He kissed you senseless til you both needed to breathe, his lips then trailing down your delicate neck, leaving marks along the way and leaving you breathless. You were so perfect, the way you were completely giving yourself to him, trusting him and being so pliable, it made him almost cum into his tweng. You would be the perfect mate, and perfect mother. Eywa, he was so in love.
His large hands freed you of your chest covering, his eyes never leaving your breasts, your nipples peaking under his intense gaze. „Don’t just stare“, you whined, already desperate for his touch and with a predatory grin he took you into his mouth. You chocked on our moan, his tongue a rough texture that felt oh so good on your nipple, sending shockwaves of pleasure right to your pulsing core.
Neteyam was lost in your soft and heavy breasts, clearly your human DNA had an influence there, considering they were bigger and softer than normal Na‘vi breasts. But he was loving it, and he was especially loving your sensitivity, arching your back and pushing your chest into his mouth.
He switched to the other nipple, grazing it with his teeth, and you swear if he wanted to he could’ve made you cum just from that. But you needed more. „'Teyam please, I need you“, you begged, your thighs trying to clench in order to get some friction, but his massive body blocked them.
He finally pulled himself away from your chest in order to take of your tweng, and shuffled down your body, so that he could bully his way between your thighs with his broad shoulders and expose your wet and swollen pussy to him.
„Eywa you’re so perfect ma yawne“, he groaned when he saw the way you were clenching around nothing, your smell making him dizzy in the best way, and before you could plead with him to touch you, his hot mouth was already on you. He was stroking your clit with his rough tongue painstakingly slowly, pulling your legs over his shoulder and holding you so firm by your hips that you were sure you would be sprouting bruises later (that you would wear around the village with pride).
You could only take what he gave you, his vice grip not giving you much space to do anything else, but the way he was in control scratched something primal inside you, making you submit to him even more. Suddenly he pushed two fingers into you, slowly fucking you with them and making sure you’re prepared to take him.
Your tail subconsciously wrapped around his arm, making him groan into your pussy and you squeezed around his fingers at that. But when he started sucking on your swollen and sensitive clit, adding a third finger and hitting that spongey spot inside you perfectly, you came without warning, breathless moans and whimpers leaving your mouth.
He growled at the feeling of you cumming on his tongue, your pussy sucking in his fingers desperately and he couldn’t wait for them to be replaced by his cock. He only stopped when you were pushing him away in oversensitivity, unhappy with having to stop tasting your sopping pussy.
But then you pulled at his arm to get him on top of you again and quicker than you would’ve thought possible he was kissing you again. He tried to pour all his adoration and love into that one kiss, telling you all the things he currently couldn’t form into words.
He pulled back panting, a loving smile adorning his face. You were breathless with anticipation when he pulled his kuru over his shoulder, urging you to do so too. „Are you ready yawne, ready to become mine forever?“, he asked in a husky voice, the anticipation killing him. „Of course I am ma 'Teyam“, you smiled and then the two of you were already exposing the sensitive tendrils at the end of you braids.
Slowly you were moving them towards one another, letting them wrap around eachother, joining you both forever through the sacred bond. A shudder ran through the both of you, your tails and ears moving in ecstasy. You could really feel him, feel your souls joining eachother, effectively making you one, making you mates.
„Ma muntxa“, Neteyam growled right next to your ear, not being able to hold back his primal urges anymore. So he got rid of his loincloth quickly, hissing when his hard cock slid between your pussy lips, covering him in your essence. You whimpered when his head caught you clit, effectively spreading around his precum on your already weeping cunt.
„Please ma 'Teyam, need you“, you pleaded, moving your hips in an effort to catch his head in your entrance. Seeing how desperate you were, he didn’t waste anymore time, bracing himself onto of you more securely, before carefully sinking into the hot cradle between your thighs.
He had to refrain himself from pounding into you right away, reminding himself that this was your first time. You were holding onto his biceps for support, the feeling of fullness spreading through you like wildfire. It was overwhelming, feeling the bond and then feeling him so deep inside you physically too, stretching your poor pussy almost past its limit.
He was thick, his cock adorned with ridges that rubbed your sweet spot just the right way with every inch he pushed in, until he was finally bottomed out. His heavy balls were resting against your ass, basically pulsing with all the seed he had ready to fill you up.
Neteyam was growling next to your ear, his muscles tense in struggle to keep still and letting you adjust. But your tight, wet heat was pulling around him like a vice, trying to suck him in and he felt his hips start moving on their own account.
He started dragging back his hips more with each thrust, your walls clamping down tight and breathless whimpers leaving your lips. The way he was moving above you, all coiled muscle and pleasured expression was making you feel some type of way - especially the way he was so dominating and primal, starting to lose control and pound into you with vigor.
He gripped your thigh with one hand, angling his hips different, and then he was thrusting into your sweet spot with every move of his hips. The moans and whines were falling freely from your mouth, spurring him on further and when he thought about how you were finally his, his mate, he pulled you into another deep kiss.
„Oh god 'Teyam I’m g-gonna-", you tried telling him you were about to cum, but he interrupted you with another kiss, his hips never faltering. But it seemed like he knew what you were saying, one of his hands moving between you and firmly circling your clit, pushing you over the edge so suddenly, you could only open your mouth in a silent scream.
Neteyam groaned in despair when he felt you tighten around him, almost blowing his load right then, but he was determined to have you cum a third time so he continued fucking you through your orgasm until you were whining from the overstimulation.
He slowed down a bit, but never ceasing his thrusts entirely, letting you catch your breath for a moment. „You okay yawne?“, he kissed your cheek gently, making your eyes open with a satisfied smile. „Yeah, perfect“, you answered, and his heart melted at the way you looked at him with so much love.
With a grin, he picked up the speed and force of his thrusts again, suddenly overcome by the reality of getting you pregnant. He let out a loud moan, the thought of you swollen with his child, the evidence of your bond and the way everyone would know to keep their hands off of you, made him slide in and out of your tight heat with determination.
„Eywa, I’m almost there ma yawne“, your mate groaned above you, „gonna fill you up so good love, gonna make sure you’ll carry my child.“ The suddenly carnal desires spilling out of his mouth awakened something deep inside of you, and you whined pathetically, clinging on to your mate while your next high was - to your surprise - already approaching.
„Fuck, you just got so tight, you want that mhm? Want your mate to fill you up? Get you pregnant?“, he panted above you, abs flexing against you and cock still relentlessly abusing your sensitive cunt in just the perfect way. „Yes, please ma 'Teyam“, you gasped, feeling his urges through the bond intensely.
And then he changed his angle a bit, his lower abdomen grinding into your clit just slightly with every harsh thrust he gave you, and it didn’t take long before the breath was knocked out of you with your next orgasm.
You were gripping him so tight, your whole body begging him to breed you, sucking him deeper than you thought was possible. He only managed a few more thrusts before burying himself as far as possible inside you, almost painfully hitting your cervix, before spilling his seed into you with a loud growl.
He was grinding into you a little still, his cock so tight inside of you that his cum seemed to flow directly into your womb, making you feel oh so deliciously full - and also prolonging your high significantly, your body trying to take all it was given.
When you were both slowly coming back to yourselves, Neteyam carefully turned you around, laying on his back with you on top and making sure his cock stayed inside of you so nothing could spill out. „Ma (Y/N)“, he sighed dreamily, pushing your hair away from your face and kissing your forehead gently.
The satisfied but tired smile never leaving your lips, you looked up a bit with hooded eyes. „Are you okay yawne? I didn’t hurt you?“, the man who had been mercilessly fucking you stupid just a few minutes ago was suddenly the sweet and caring male you knew.
„No you didn’t my love, everything is just perfect“, you sighed happily, feeling safe and whole in his arms, the soft kiss he pressed to your lips only intensifying that feeling. „Promise me you’ll never leave?“, you almost didn’t hear him, your mate suddenly sounding so insecure it made your heart break. „Never. I’ll never leave, I love you so much 'Teyam“, you kissed him again, humming a bit when his (somehow still hard) cock moved inside of you.
„Oel ngati kameie“, he whispered, holding you even tighter and your burrowed your head in his neck softly kissing it. „I see you“, you whispered back.

Mama's Boy | Part 6 (final)
Tumblr media
Pair: Jake x neytiri x human reader (trio couple) x sully children's
Warning: conflict, family problems, soft moments.
Note: You don't know how difficult it is to do something again that you already had done. I tried to make it like the previous one, but I think I'm missing some parts. Still, it's quite long. And I feel like it was lacking in the end… I wish it was the work I had already done, because that was great. Still, I hope you like this part a lot. Thank you very much for your support with this mini-series. There are many more coming!! btw I recently opened a KO-Fi…. if you want to leave any tips or support I would appreciate it (it would help me to buy real coffee xD).
AVATAR MASTERLIST | Part 1, Part 2, Part 3, Part 4, Part 5, Part 6(final)
Tumblr media
You had to live with the continuous rejection since you agreed to be a couple with jake and neytiri. That was something you knew was going to happen. But when it was just you, everything was cool, you never cared. You always ignored the bad comments and went on with your life as if nothing had happened. But as soon as you became lo'ak's mother, things changed. Now you were a mother, one who wanted to be accepted among the group of mothers in the clan. When it was only neytiri who had neteyam, you used to accompany her. And nobody said anything…but now it was difficult. They were always saying comments about you and lo'ak. How they didn't believe that you were his mother, or that you weren't good enough for him and your family. Somehow this started to get to you. Trying to protect lo'ak was always difficult for you, but you always managed to find a way. But now you felt you weren't…much less in your current state.
You hadn't seen your family for months, now you have the chance to be reunited with them. And it seems that since you arrived things have gone from bad to worse. Or so that woman says…ronal. You didn't want her words to affect you, but hell…they were. You felt bad for your family, for lo'ak and even for the child that was on the way. It would have been easier if you had never involved yourself with Jake, and that your children could have a normal family, that lo'ak could have a normal family. He would have been happier.
You had left Ronal's hut, you were walking slowly. You still didn't want to go home, you knew everyone already knew the news. And even you didn't know how to react. You just passed by the shore, and you noticed that in the distance you could see lo'ak. He was alone…you knew from his posture that he was sad. You carefully descend the woven paths, and jump down to the sand. To now close in on your child. -"Hey…" you speak, watching as the boy turns and smiles softly. "Hi..mom" lo'ak turns, to stretch out his hand. Helping you to sit next to him, you settle in. Pulling your knees to your chest, the night was cold for your liking. "Mom, are you feeling better? Neteyam said you are in serious condition" says lo'ak you could see the worried eyes. You stroke his arm a little, holding it now to make him come closer to you. "I'm fine…I'm just a little sick, that's all," you explain.
"mom said you were pregnant, is that true?" asks lo'ak, you look up to see him. You could notice how his little ears pinned back. - "I see the news is spreading fast around here….but yes." You touch your stomach, then look up at lo'ak. - "There's a baby here," you say, looking back out to sea. Lo'ak notices this reaction of yours, something was happening to you. You weren't his mother as usual…you looked sad.
"Aren't you happy?" asks Lo'ak. -And you? What do you think?" you ask him back. Lo'ak was silent for a moment, looking sideways. He thinks carefully about his answer. "Well… I feel jealous" says lo'ak pouting a little. This makes you chuckle a little, he looked so adorable. "Well… yes I'm happy, I just feel even bad and…nothing" you didn't want to worry lo'ak anymore. He was still so young, you didn't want him to carry your stupid traumas. He had been through so much at such a young age, and telling him your problems wouldn't help him much. -Mom… will you still love me?" lo'ak looks at you with wide eyes. - "My baby… the arrival of this baby won't change anything… sure, he'll get a little attention because he's the youngest. But you will always be my prince" you pull lo'ak to you, watching the boy. He settles down, to lay his head in your lap. Settling down in the sand. - "mama loves you so much…so so much" you speak, stroking lo'ak's hair. You look down, to see him. He was growing so fast, you still couldn't believe it.
After a while, you and Lo'ak decide to go back to the hut. When you enter you can see that everyone in the family was there, it seems that you were waiting for you. - "Hello" you greet, stepping carefully inside. While lo'ak was in the back making sure you were okay. You were still a little weak. Neytiri gets up from where she was, approaching you towards her. -"you're supposed to be with ronal" says neytiri, seeing you roll your eyes.
. -I'd rather die at home," you joke, but you see kiri and tuk's little face is one of worry. "are you going to die?!!!" tuk starts to whine. "No, no honey…it's a joke" you try to apologize to the little girl. -" No, she gave me this medicine and told me I could come back…I'm better" you speak, but you can see neytiri's and jake's face. It was one of happiness, they were waiting for you to say something about the creature that was on its way. -"Besides…I heard that you had already come with the news that I was pregnant" you cross your arms. Neytiri laughs nervously, "I'm sorry, I'm excited." You give Neytiri a smile.
You knew how exciting this news was for everyone. You had hoped to be pregnant for so many years, and it never happened. After lo'ak you wanted to have a baby two years later, but nothing. Neytiri was always there for you. As much as you, she also hoped that you would have a baby. But hopes were lost with time. Even when neytiri announced that she was expecting tuk, she felt bad for telling you the news, neytiri felt that she had betrayed you. You responded to her, telling her she was a fool, you were so happy for the arrival of little tuk. You were so happy about the arrival of the little tuk that you eventually forgot the idea of having another child. But here you are… you finally got what you were looking for. And you felt so guilty at the same time.
That night everyone had a quiet dinner, no one argued and everything was peaceful. Celebrating the news of a new member. Neteyam was teasing lo'ak, saying that he would no longer be your baby. While kiri was playing along. Meanwhile, tuk put his ear to your stomach, hoping to hear something -" I can just hear your guts mom" tuk pouts in annoyance, and you start laughing." Baby…it's still too small" jake says, he was next to you, he had you wrapped in his arms. "But I'm supposed to be able to hear him…he doesn't talk" tuk complains, she didn't know much about babies. "Don't worry…when he's born he's going to talk to you a lot" says neytiri, taking tuk on her lap. "I want it to be a girl…so she can be my best friend" tuk settles down on neytiri's chest, looking for the sleep. "Well…whatever it is, she/he is going to be your best friend, I promise" you watch as tuk smiles softly. And begins to drift off to sleep. Eventually all the children begin to go to their beds. Leaving only the adults awake.
Neytiri settled tuk in her hammock, and went over to where you and Jake were sitting. You were both outside the marui, talking. "Well…they're finally asleep," jokes Neytiri, sitting down next to Jake. "And wait till this little kid gets here…. the calm will go away" jake laughs a little, touching your stomach. But he can tell how serious you were. Jake looks at neytiri, to make sure she noticed your behavior too. You didn't used to be like that, you looked sad. Like something was wrong with you. Jake thinks you are still upset with him…but you had said that this discussion was going to end. -"Ma y/n…is something wrong?" asks Neytiri, getting up from Jake's side to sit on your right side. Bringing her whole body closer to your side. -" Yes…just, I feel a little sick" you speak. You don't want them to start asking questions.
"You're sure…because you looked fine a while ago" Jake knows something is wrong with you. You sigh loudly, taking a deep breath -" I think it would be best if I went back to camp" you begin to speak. -" Y/n…you can't go back to camp. They know who you are…they are looking for us and they can hurt you. No…you stay here with us" jake was getting a little agitated, it was too dangerous for you to go back. The situation with the RDA was quiet, but that didn't mean they wouldn't attack. Neytiri touches Jake's shoulder to calm him down. -"But why do you want to come back, don't you want to be with us?" asks Neytiri, she seemed to be calm. "Of course I want to be here…I love all this…but I feel that I am a problem for you. You guys were peaceful before I was here. Since I've been here it's been all arguments and problems. I want to go back and leave you alone" you had started to cry, you felt so silly. Here making a drama out of something so stupid.
"Why do you think that? Ma y/n you are not a problem for us, never say that" neytiri hugs you on her chest, giving you a kiss on the crown of your head. -Y/n look at me" jake takes your chin to look at him a little. " We have arguments like any other family, and that's normal. This whole situation of a new home…I know it must be hard for you. If it's hard for us, it must be twice as hard for you." Jake speaks. -" But you're not the cause of any of our problems…if we're talking about someone causing problems, it would be me. Because I bet if you two were alone, you'd be happy" that comment from Jake makes you laugh a little. Neytiri wipes the tears from your cheeks. "I know that being a sky people…and the whole acceptance thing has always made you uncomfortable and maybe it's a problem for a lot of people. But not for us, not for me. You are our family…and we will always be united," says Neytiri as she caresses your cheek.
"Let's stop crying, it's not good for you. Neither you nor our baby" Neytiri pulls down a little, and gives you a soft kiss. "See…I'm the one who's left over here" jake jokes, making you both laugh, breaking the awkward moment. You take his hand, inviting him to join you. -"By the way…why were you thinking those things?" neytiri asks. You pull away from her a little. "Ahh it was a comment ronal made…but never mind" you watch as neytiri's ears perk up and her nose wrinkles. "calm baby" jake says, looking at neytiri. You knew what neytiri thought of ronal. They had been in the metkayina clan for a while and she still couldn't tolerate that woman. But she would deal with this, neytiri wasn't going to leave it at that. ++++ The next morning, you felt a little better. Better in health and in spirits. You needed to have that talk with Neytiri and Jake. Their opinion was very important to you and setting the record straight helped you feel better. Jake and neytiri left early for a day of hunting that tonowari and ao'nung invited them to, while you stayed at the marui with lo'ak, kiri and tuk. Neytiri had gone for a 'walk', she didn't tell you exactly where she was going. But you didn't think much of it, Neytiri wasn't a troublemaker, so you stayed calm. -"Good morning mama" lo'ak just got up, sitting down next to you. You were humming, while tucking one of his braids behind his ears. "Are you hungry? Here's some fruit" you hand him his portion of fruit. The boy was snoozing, still sleepy. "Ahh my poor baby" you hug lo'ak. -"A giant ugly baby," says Kiri. The girl had been sitting next to you. Lo'ak pulls out his tongue at his sister, they were about to start arguing, when you scold them.-"Hey, it's too early for you to start with your stuff, let's eat" you say, taking Kiri's hand so that she sits next to you and starts eating. Tuk was still asleep, so you leave her alone.
"Lo'ak…after you finish eating, could you please go get some more fruit." you speak, you see lo'ak nod his head, the boy had his mouth full. "Kiri…you should go and join your brother" you can hear the girl complain, "ahhh mama!!!" kiri complains, lately she wanted to stay all day at the marui. You knew she missed spider, but it wasn't right for her to do nothing all day. "You're going to go and stretch your feet and hands and your whole body, yes?" you look at Kiri, she was grim-faced. Sometimes she looked so much like grace, you adored her. "Ok, I'll go…but I'll come back quickly. I want to be with you" kiri rolls her eyes, and keeps eating. After eating kiri and lo'ak walked out of marui, leaving the place still and quiet. You hope that this day will continue to be quiet. But you are not aware of what Neytiri was about to do.
Neytiri had a mission when she woke up that morning, and she was going to accomplish it. No one was going to talk about her partner, no one. And for Ronal to say those words to you, it hurt her very much. Neytiri knew that she was not very welcome in the clan, and the only reason they were still there. It was because they needed it and because Tonowari had accepted it. She arrives at where ronal was, the woman was on her way to her marui when she met neytiri. "hello," says ronal. And neytiri greets her, insisting that they should talk. Ronal thinks for a moment, she had already dealt with Neytiri. And she knew she was a strong woman, and that the only reason she would talk to her is because something had happened. Ronal invites Neytiri into her marui. Neytiri sits down, analyzing the whole situation around her. -"So what brings you here?" asks Ronal.
"First I'm grateful for the help towards y/n, thank you" says neytiri. Seeing how ronal lowers her head and laughs to herself. -"Yes, you're welcome, after all that's my job," says ronal.
"yesterday… when y/n came out of your marui, she told us that you had told her that it was better for her to go back to the jungle, and that we were better off without her. I'd rather you stay out of our business and save your opinions," says neytiri, and from the tone of voice it didn't sound kind. Neytiri didn't care what position Ronal had, no one was going to meddle in her business. -"I don't think I said anything that wasn't true, or am I wrong?" ronal knows how to get neytiri out of her mind. "Our life as a family is not your business," neytiri says.
"What family? The strange inter-species gathering you have, because you yourselves became a point of opinion when you accepted that demon into your family" spits ronal. Neytiri takes a deep breath, clenching her hands. "I recommend you keep quiet…" says neytiri, trying to control herself. "I thought it was a joke when they said that demon was your mate, but now it turns out you have a half-Na'vi child and another on the way, who knows how I will come." Ronal doesn't know what she is provoking. Neytiri is holding back, but it is driving her point across. "She will still be a demon, and everything that comes from her will be" those were ronal's last words, until neytiri got up from the ground. Pulling out her knife in one swift movement. Approaching ronal, she curled her up in her seat.
Placing the weapon to her neck. "Let this be the first and last time you talk about my family like that…you don't know how things happened. I WILL NOT ALLOW YOU TO TALK SHIT ABOUT MY MATE AND MY CHILDREN, EVER!!!" neytiri screams. The woman is furious, neytiri had been through a lot of anger with you, and it wasn't because of you. It was not because of you, but because of the people around her.
Neytiri was not a fan of humans, if she could be away from them so much the better. But she loved you, you were different for her. She saw you as a creature and not as a human. You and neytiri have known each other for years, since grace school. You know everything neytiri has been through and you have always been there for her. It was painful for her when you two had to move away from each other, it was almost like another loss for her. But since you two became a couple with Jake, her anger about the comments made to you had grown. The na'vi saying nasty things about you, no matter that your children were there. Saying that you were too extra in their family. But when neytiri was going to react to those comments, you were always there to stop her, telling her to ignore them. But yesterday, it was the straw that broke the camel's back. Neytiri had gone through so much these past few months, and when she finally felt a little happiness with the arrival of you and a new baby, this idiot comes to ruin her life. This idiot came to ruin it, she was annoyed. Why weren't you here to stop her. -"I recommend you put down that knife," says Ronal, looking into Neytiri's eyes. These were black with fury.
By coincidence or by pure luck. Kiri and lo'ak were passing by ronal and tonowari's marui. When they saw the situation forming, lo'ak and kiri immediately run to stop their mother. Lo'ak grabs neytiri from behind, pulling her off of ronal. -"Mom, what's wrong? Calm down!!!" says lo'ak, while kiri stands in front of her mother hugging her. Neytiri is a little upset, screaming to be released. But her children were holding her back, they didn't understand what was going on. -"Kiri goes and gets dad," lo'ak orders Kiri. The girl runs off as fast as she can to look for her father. While lo'ak tries to reassure her mother. -Mom calm down, why are you acting like this?" lo'ak is confused, he has never seen his mother act like this before. "Don't you dare say a damn thing about my family!!!" shouts neytiri.
In the family marui…
Jake arrived with neteyam, carrying a basket full of fish. "Love…look at all the stuff we brought, neteyam was amazing. Next time I'm going to take lo'ak with me" jake was so happy, coming up to give you a quick kiss. "mmm I see, congratulations" you kiss him back. Moving closer to neteyam, to help him. "Thank you mom," says neteyam. - "Honey…go and eat your breakfast, yes?" you say. Handing him his fruit packet, your poor boy had left very early and you know he hadn't eaten. "hey, where's neytiri and the kids?" asks jake, sitting down next to you. "Neytiri told me she was going for a walk and told the kids to go get more fruit" you say. -Perfect" says Jake getting down to give you a kiss on your shoulder. "I love you…I don't like it when you're mad at me" Jake speaks in your ear. You laugh a little, because you were still mad at him. But he knew how to play your game.-"mmm we'll see…I love you too" you look up, waiting for jake to give you a kiss. When an altered kiri runs up to marui. "DADDY I NEED YOUR HELP WITH MOM, SHE IS DISCUSSING WITH RONAL, SHE HAD HIS KNIFE ON HER NECK" kiri yells, the girl was so upset. "What?" you guys stand up quickly. Following the girl. "Neteyam, kiri stay with tuk, please" you ask that favor, and walk out behind jake.
Tonowari had arrived on the scene, trying to calm everything down. "SHE was the one who started saying all those things!!!" neytiri is defending herself. "I told the truth!!!" ronal on the other hand defending her point. While tonowari was trying to understand what happened. He had in front of him two women with a strong character. Jake approaches and you were behind him. "Mom" lo'ak walks up to you, holding your hand. "What happened?" you ask, this was crazy. Lo'ak looks at you, lifting his shoulders. Neytiri was screaming and so was ronal. And on the other side was Tonowari and jake. - "mom come on, let's go!!!" lo'ak was dragging you with him. The boy didn't want you to be there, he thought it was a dangerous situation. Little by little you move away from the group, and you decide to listen to lo'ak. And you both walk towards your marui.
You were nervous, because lo'ak didn't know what had happened, much less you. And the best thing you did was to walk away, you are getting really sick. Suddenly you see how jake and neytiri enter. - "neytiri all that…" jake starts. - "Nobody is going to be talking about my family, my children…nobody." neytiri was so upset. "What's going on?" you get up from the floor, looking at jake. - "listen to me…we will stay here until the baby is born, then we will leave" says jake. What was going on, this was a lot of information to process. But with the look Jake and Neytiri were giving you, you knew they were serious. This was a choice they had made, and they had no intention of changing it.
When the dust settled, Jake explained everything. This agreement he made with Tonowari. After all the discussion was calmed down and explained. Tonowari knew that Ronal could be cruel when he spoke and didn't mean what he said. So he didn't blame neytiri too much for reacting that way, but he also had to defend his partner. Jake couldn't believe what that woman said about his partner and son. This was the limit, he was grateful for everything they had done, but everything had a limit and Ronal had passed it. So it was decided that when you gave birth, they would go somewhere else. Tonowari insisted that they stay, but jake refused. -"But we could leave now," you say. -"I think it's best to wait for the baby to be born, and for you to be healthy. Then we'll go" Jake looks at Neytiri. She was the one who had the idea, she couldn't stand to be around that woman anymore. -"It's for the best!" says Neytiri.
That same night, jake approached lo'ak. The boy had done a great job, defending his mothers. Jake was proud of how he had acted. Lo'ak was cleaning some fish, as Jake had told him earlier. Jake went over and started to help him. "You know… I'm proud of you. You were very brave out there, thank you for helping" says jake, noticing how lo'ak's little eyes widen with excitement. Lo'ak thinks it's the first time his father has ever told him he was proud of him. After the encounter with the RDA, things between them had mended somewhat, but not for long. And seeing that his father was now trying to get closer to him was pleasing to him. "That's what you should do, sir," says lo'ak, lowering his head. "dad…you can call me dad" jake smiles at lo'ak. " dad" lo'ak speaks, leaning closer to his father.
Neytiri and you were watching everything from afar, both of you shared a few glances. You were happy, that finally their relationship was at a good point.
8 months later…
Your pregnancy went normally, no problems had occurred. Although the atmosphere was a little heavy, nothing happened. You always had someone by your side, and there was always lo'ak behind you. Since that accident, lo'ak never left you alone at any time. And you were also grateful for the company of your child, the pregnancy had been very tiring for you. After long months, liuk was born… a beautiful baby girl. A girl with human appearance, but with na'vi characteristics. Na'vi ears, with a tail and her distinguished Queue. She was also of human size, she was very strange. But precious and unique at the same time. Everyone in the family could not believe what they were seeing, this was very strange.
"Mom…no wonder your belly was so small" says neteyam, looking at her newborn sister. Compared to when you were pregnant with lo'ak your belly was bigger than normal, but with liuk…everything went like a normal pregnancy. -"Yes" your voice sounded tired, the delivery was quite fast, but painful. Neytiri at your side, taking care of you. She had attended your entire delivery, along with Jake. She said she didn't want Ronal's help, she wanted to leave this place as soon as possible. On the other hand Jake looked worried, you looked very weak. In a week they were supposed to leave for somewhere else, but on second thought, he doesn't think it's right. He thinks it's not the right thing to do.
Lo'ak was sitting on your right side, holding your hand. Drawing circles on your palm, while his sisters watched and carried the baby. He hadn't been holding her, he was worried about you. It had been a couple of hours, and you still felt very tired. "lo'ak…love why don't you say hello to your little sister" you look at him, laughing a little. You knew he was nervous, telling kiri to hand the baby over to lo'ak. He holds her carefully, - "she is…very small" says lo'ak. You laugh, you were watching your baby holding your new baby. You wanted to die of tenderness. Lo'ak touched the baby's nose, and then her tiny feet. His baby sister was so tiny and adorable. -"She looks just like when lo'ak was a baby, doesn't she," said Jake, moving closer to lo'ak to take a closer look at his daughter. "Yes… they look just like each other," says Neytiri. Jake takes the baby in his arms, to put her on his chest. He was afraid… very afraid to leave.
Leaving this clan was dangerous, very dangerous. And now he felt much more afraid… they had a new member in the family. And one who was very weak, you had to hide and not expose yourselves in this way. He knows what had happened, but you could all come to an agreement. Jake had to talk to you and Neytiri about it. They had a safe home, their children had already adapted and they had a newborn. They had to stay. That same afternoon, without wasting any time, Jake decided to talk to Neytiri and set the record straight. He made her understand that the best thing to do was to stay in the clan. Neytiri did not take this well, she wanted to leave. But she also understood Jake's point, things could get worse. Neytiri apologized to Ronal, and the woman apologized to her. Tonowari and Jake argued and left everything in a good state. After all, nothing had happened between the families, just that misunderstanding. Although neytiri prefers ronal to stay away from her family.
After three months, life seemed to be calmer. Things seemed to be back to normal. There were no arguments and everything was harmonious. You were on the beach, with lo'ak. You were still healing, but you were feeling better. Meanwhile lo'ak was holding his baby sister on his chest in a kangaroo that you and neytiri had made. The baby had grown a little, but still looked human-sized. You had talked to Norm, who told you that in a couple of days he would see the baby. Everything about her was impressive. -"Mom…I think she's heavier," says lo'ak, stroking his baby sister's head. "mmm I think a little…but that much" you were looking for some snails to make something nice for the baby. - "mom look at that over there" lo'ak points to the sand, watching you reach for it. Without noticing ronal's presence.
The woman had approached you, silently. She felt like she owed you an apology. After talking to jake and neytiri. And even with Tonowari…she owes you an apology. It was very wrong of her to say those things about you and your children. She had not taken the task of knowing you, and she only judged you. – “Hello,” she says slowly, seeing how you look at her with surprise. It had been a long time since she last approached you. –“Hello” you speak embarrassed. Lo'ak holds her sister tightly against her chest, protecting her from her. If something happened, he was ready to defend her. –“I come here to apologize…I know that how I have expressed myself towards you, it is not the best way. I hope you forgive me” she says ronal, she still sounded a little smug. But you decide to accept her apology, you wanted to keep the atmosphere as it was at the moment. –“don't worry…everything is fine” you say. You felt so uncomfortable right now.
“Well…take this” Ronal hands you some kind of drink. She looks at you with concern and then you look at her. –“don't worry…it's nothing bad. It will help you heal faster, the recently given birth women of the clan use it” Ronal laughs a little. You accept her gift, and thank her. Ronal says goodbye and continues on his way. Out of nowhere you feel someone take the drink from your hand. “Mom, don't take that…it could be poison,” Lo'ak says, pouting. Caused you to laugh a little. You take a moment to look at the little people in front of you. They were amazing and you had created them. “I love you so much” you touch Lo'ak's face, he laughs a little at you. And he looks at his little sister again. You knew that your children's lives were not going to be easy, but they would always count on your help.
p.s omg, why do I have so much trouble finishing this series, ahh I feel like something is missing!!! ahhhhhh cries in a corner

Together pt. 1 | Neteyam Sully
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
summary: [Request by Anon] Could you do a Neteyam x f!reader where she is the eldest child of Ronal and Tonowari? Being the eldest of two Olo’eyktan, they understand each other so much. One night, they confide in each other, Neteyam how he longs to come back to his home but can’t say anything as the perfect golden child and always have to watch out and take the blame for his siblings, even though he loves them more than anything. Reader confesses how much pressure and feels like a failure to her parents, and she is so deeply scared to death about her siblings that she loves more than anything. One thing leads to another, and they spend the night together (no smut, please). Comes the day after, and they do not speak to each other, so confused and refusing to acknowledge what happened. For fuck sake they are young and not mated. But Ewya has other plans for them and reader is pregnant. She tries to hide it especially from her parents as Neteyam and his family will probably be outcast and she will disappoint them so much.
genre: angst, hurt/comfort
pairing: Neteyam Sully x fem!metkayina!reader
warnings: characters are age up (18 years old), so I changed Neteyam’s age, allusion to sex, but NO SMUT, mention of young adult/teenage pregnancy (no romanization). Use of "y/n" maybe like three times.
a/n: my first request! And I took too long to write it (I'm sorry), that's why I have divided this in two parts. I have been a little stressed and feeling down, but I'm here. I hope anon and everyone enjoy this one. English is not my first language, please be kind <3.

“Where were you?” Neytiri asked her eldest son.
“Yeah. What happened to ‘keep an eye on your brother’?” his dad followed.
“Sorry, sir.” That was all Neteyam could say, even though his own answer was physically hurting him.
All the time, 24/7, he had to take care of Lo'ak. Maybe he didn't have the pressure of being the next Olo’eyktan anymore, but now, in a whole new clan, he had to prove everyone he was the mighty warrior, son of Toruk Makto. But his siblings didn't help. He loved his family, but he hated the way he had to be a third parent, especially when his younger brother almost died (which was definitely not his fault).
After the incident with Lo'ak, Neteyam decided he needed a break, so he walked, and walked, and walked until he found a spot where he could hide enough time until he felt better.
He liked the depth of the island because it reminded him of his home. The metkayina were mostly on the shores of the Island, so there was almost always no one in the forest. That's why Neteyam thought he had no company in the woods. Surprisingly, when he was enjoying his time alone (still upset) he heard a slight ‘thump’. It sounded like someone threw something at one of the trees.
Unlike home, this forest was not as full of vines or places to hide, but the green leaves didn’t allow to see around him easily. He forgot to bring his bow, but he always carried his knife, so he got into a defensive position and slowly, sharpening his hearing, he waited to hear another sound.
“Damn it.” a voice said.
Neteyam got closer carefully. The moonlight snuck into the middle of the treetops straight towards the person who was keeping him company, so he finally saw you.
The first thing he noticed was your beautiful hair braided on top and decorated with shells and ocean rocks, not forgetting your hairpiece, the one who reflected your status among the people. He recognized the elegant pearls your top had and the songcord that was hanging gracefully from your loincloth.
What was unusual and a little confusing was seeing your upset and distressed expression, since whenever he observed you from afar he looked at the relaxed and kind expression you gave to your people. Not like he was looking at you all the time.
Yo started to walk in circles, murmuring things he couldn't listen to. Apparently, his trained capacity of moving smoothly was so good you didn't notice his presence. When you turned around you immediately hiss and show your long sharp nails in a defensive way. When you recognize him, you let out a tired sight.
“Neteyam, you scared me.”
“Y/n, I see you.” He did the sign showing respect. “Sorry about scaring you, that was not my intention.”
Even if both of you were formal, actually, you guys were pretty familiar with each other. Because, of course, as the oldest daughter of the Olo’eyktan, you were there helping the Sullys when they arrive to the village and most of the time, when you weren't training with your mother, you liked to trained with them or just have a good time with them and your siblings.
“You seem pretty upset.” Neteyam talked first.
“Well, you too.”
Nobody said anything because no one wanted to show vulnerability. A thin tension started to build until you decided to let your guard down a little. It wasn't that you didn't trust Neteyam, but you weren't used to showing people when something was wrong. On the other hand, Neteyam wasn't used to talking with others when he wasn't feeling well.
“It's just… it sucks, you know?” You said, sitting on top of a big rock.
“I know, it does.” Both of you chuckled. “If you need to talk with someone, it would be just between us.”
“I don't want to bother you, it's stupid.”
“If the future Tsahik is upset, it should be pretty serious.” He said with a teasing smirk. That made you smile a little bit.
After a little silence, you started. “First of all, I love my siblings with all my heart. I don't have anything against them and I don't know what I would do if something happens to them. I also love my parents, but sometimes mom and dad put so much pressure on us, especially me. I mean, sometimes I get it, I'm the future spiritual leader, but I'm their daughter too, you know?”
“Yeah, it's like they forget you are still a child who wants to go home too and suddenly you are the third parent.” You looked at him with worried eyes, knowing why he was saying that and feeling someone was finally understanding you. Neteyam was now sitting next to you.
“Ao'nung acts like the king already when he has a whole pad to follow until he becomes Olo’eyktan. He's mean to your siblings at the point he almost killed Lo'ak today.” You said, upset. “Sorry about that, by the way.”
“You don't have to be sorry, it's not your fault. That's the problem, it's not my fault either. Why do we have to take responsibility just because it involves our younger brothers? Lo'ak is old enough to know what is right and wrong, but I have to take responsibility for his skxawng ass.”
“They might really think we are the third parent. Apparently we are always with them and we can control everything they do.”
“Like if we were some kind of psychics.”
“What's a psychics?” You asked a little bit confused. Neteyam saw your cute face, trying to figure it out if that was a good thing.
“Sorry.” He laughed. “They are people who can see the future.”
“Oh.” You whispered. “Yeah, like if we were some kind of psychics!” You said, this time a little bit more upset. “Wait, isn’t Tsahik some kind of psychics?” You looked at each other and then burst into laughter.
Minutes passed and you started to talk about other things. It was magical how you two had so much in common and understood each other. Neteyam was so happy he could finally get close to you, well, closer than all the days and nights all of you (metkayina and omaticaya siblings) swam and trained together.
Under the moon, surrounded by beautiful plants, you lay on the ground and start joking. Like that, Neteyam looked more relaxed than you've ever seen him. Most of the time he was the “Mighty Warrior”, but you liked to see him like that, like his true self.
“You know you look handsome when you smile?” You said all of a sudden.
“What?” Neteyam thought he imagined your sweet voice saying that, just like in his dreams.
“Sorry.” You said a little embarrassed, sitting down.
“No, no. It's okay.” He smiled. “It's just… Nobody has ever told me something like that.” You two blushed. “You are beautiful, you know that?” You looked at him surprised. “Oh, c'mon, don't tell me it's the first time someone tells you this.”
“Boys always want to be close to me so they can court me in the future. They want an opportunity with the future Tsahik, not with the real me.”
“Well, they are stupid.”
Neteyam was sitting down already, so he took his time admiring your face closely.
“Don't do that, you are making me nervous.”
“Oh, you are always making me nervous, pretty lady.” You smiled. “Every time you are close my heart can't take it, it feels like I'm gonna faint.”
You began to get closer too, watching his lips with attention. You felt very nervous, but that didn't stop you from closing all distance and kissing him shyly and sweetly. Neteyam was surprised, but he couldn't deny he was waiting for this moment since the day you helped him with his breathing teaching, realising he liked you too much.
His hands rested on the sides of your jaw, deepening the kiss, while you played a little bit with his hair. That triggered something in Neteyam, making the kiss no longer sweet, but a little hungrier. You let out a surprised little noise. He guided you, leaving you lying on the floor again, with him on top of you.
“Can I…? You know we don't need to do this if you don't want to.”
“Please…” You whispered before he kissed you again.
The next day you flatly refused to talk to or even see Neteyam, because you were confused and angry with yourself. You weren't going to lie, you enjoyed every second of the night you spent with Neteyam. You felt comfortable, loved, and safe, but the problem was that you two weren't a couple and you weren't even courting. Your mother had always told you that the first time had to be special because Eywa was the one who unites all mates and your father had assured you that you should not give yourself body and soul to someone unless you truly loved each other because, otherwise, you could get hurt.
“I'm stupid, I'm so so so stupid.” You scolded yourself alone after Neteyam greeted you from across the beach while he was fishing with his father, and you walked away completely ignoring him.
Neteyam was so happy when you two woke up that morning and greeted each other with a smile. But when you got away every time he tried to talk to you, he realised maybe something bad happened.
“I hope you don't think we didn't notice you were not in the marui last night.” His father scolded again, when they were preparing their knives.
He told him he had fallen asleep by accident while searching for beads for his mother, like the first time he arrived in the morning when the only one awake was his dad.
All day and night he felt bad about what happened with you. He thought about it a lot and came to the conclusion that maybe, even if it was the best thing that happened to him in his short life, it was a mistake not to have done things right with you. He should have asked your parents for permission, he should have courted you and given you gifts until you said yes. And now he messed up.
Three weeks passed in which you filled yourself with tasks to avoid going out with your siblings and the Sullys. You felt bad. You missed singing with Tsireya, hunting with Ao'nung, walking to the shore with Rotxo, joking with Lo'ak, swimming with Kiri and feeding ilus with little Tuk, but what you missed the most was Neteyam’s warm company. Still, you refused to approach them fearing that Neteyam would try to talk about what happened that night and that the others would notice that something was wrong.
“Aren't you gonna eat your breakfast, little fish?” Your father asked.
“I'm okay, I need to go to the shore. The best shells are usually hidden deep in the sand, so I prefer to look now so as not to miss the daylight."
“But, we don't need too many shells.” Tsireya said, helping her mother with the sleep mats.
“We might not need too many, but we need the best for our clothes for the mating ceremony of Ae'k and Payu next week.”
You lied, so you didn't have to accept the fact that the food smelled bad for you. You didn't want to offend your parents, who spend so much time cooking together, especially when you were the only one who seemed to have that issue. When you were out of the marui, your little sister caught up to you before you got any further.
“Wait, sister. Is everything alright?”
“Yes, why?”
“I don't know. You seem distant since a couple of weeks ago, even Ao'nung noticed. You don't have time to hang up or train with us, but I was hoping you weren't mad at us. The Sullys asked us what we did to you.
“Oh, Reya, I'm so sorry. I'm not mad or something like that, I just have a lot of responsibilities lately, but as soon as I have time I'll go with you guys, okay?”
“Okay.” She smiled, still a little worried.
Neteyam saw you on the beach, searching for something in the sand. He considered approaching you, but decided he didn't want to bother you.
“What's happening between the two of you?” Kiri asked after a few minutes where Neteyam would peek at your direction every so often.
“What? What are you talking about?” Neteyam asked, clearly avoiding the topic.
“Come on. At first I thought Ao'nung and Tsireya did something to make her mad, like Lo'ak and Tuk, but I can see the way you want to talk to her and she's… basically ignoring you.”
Kiri's words hurt him a little, but he knew she was right. He hesitated. He didn't want to talk about what happened, he felt somehow he was disrespecting your privacy, but he couldn't take it anymore.
“Sorry, Kiri. I have to talk with her.”
He decided he had to talk to you since her sister noticed something was wrong. Now it was just her, but it was a matter of time until the other ones noticed.
Neteyam walked to your figure kneeling on the sand. You were so invested with your shell searching that you didn't notice him approaching.
“Y/n, can we talk?” He asked not wanting his voice to tremble.
“I am kind of busy right now. Sorry, Neteyam.” The tone of voice you used wasn't rude, but a little bit cold.
“Please, we need to talk about what happened that night.”
“Nothing happened that night.” You answered, stopping your movements, but not looking up at him.
“Really? Nothing happened?” He asked, now hurt.
You sighted tired and frustrated. You weren't feeling good, but that wasn't an excuse to hurt him. “Sorry, I didn't mean it like that. It's just… it's complicated and now I don't feel like talking.” You answered, standing up. When you were on your feet, you trembled a little, noticing the way your vision got blurry.
“Wow, are you okay?” Neteyam asked, worried, holding you by the elbows to keep you from falling. When you looked at his beautiful golden eyes you almost gave up. Somehow you felt the need to take refuge in his arms.
“I'm fine. Thank you.” Like that you walked to the marui where the clan kept the materials needed to make clothes. Fortunately, it was empty.
“Please. It's okay if you feel uncomfortable, it's completely understandable. But we can't avoid the topic forever.” He said, unaware of how your world started spinning. You kneeled on a mat, distracting yourself by organising the shells in the right place. “We need to talk. Whenever you are ready, but, please. Kiri already noticed something.”
“Neteyam…” your view turned black for a moment and you didn't know how you ended up lying on the mat with Neteyam kneeling next to you, holding your head.
“Hey, hey. Y/n, please wake up. Open your eyes for me.”
“What happened?”
“I don't know. You fainted for a few seconds. Did you eat this morning?”
“Not really.” The light was hurting your eyes, so it was difficult to open your eyes completely.
“Damn it. Why? You can't be doing things like that. You need to eat, otherwise you are gonna feel sick.”
Then everything made sense. No, you weren't feeling like that because you didn't eat. It was the third time in the week you felt like that. You puked once, when taking care of the youngest ones of the clan, after you played with them. Gladly no one saw you because you ran to the woods on time.
Your disgust for the food was definitely new. You never felt rejection of your mother's food. Not even when you were sick as a child. At those times you eat different things, but never you decide not to eat.
Your mother… Your mother was feeling like that now that she was expecting…
“Oh, my Eywa.” You whispered, sitting down and covering your mouth. “No. No. No. No.”
“What? What is it?” Neteyam asked, now worried to death about your sudden change of mood.
“Neteyam… I think I am pregnant.”
Neteyam and you talked in that marui for hours, sitting down a little far from each other. You knew you wouldn't have privacy in any other place, besides the woods, but you didn't want to go there, for obvious reasons. The metkayina didn't enter the marui because it wasn't the day of the week to make clothes. So you two had plenty of time to discuss your little... situation.
“Are you completely sure?” Neteyam whispered, looking at the mat.
“Well, we just can be completely sure by asking my mother, and we are not gonna do that.” You bit your lip, anxious. “But I had the symptoms and I had never felt like that, not until… until you.” You said, hugging your knees embarrassed.
Neteyam looked at you at the mention. He knew it wasn't the right moment, but he liked how you had said that. And you looked so beautiful like that.
“Well… then, we are gonna take responsibility for our actions.” He said, decisively. “Do you want to?” He asked, changing his tone, now nervous for your answer.
“I don't know… I mean, what other option do we have? But I don't want to have them just because that's how it should be. I feel bad.” You said, rubbing your now flat belly. “And I don't know if I am prepared.”
“I know. I don't feel prepared either.”
“Wait, you wanna… you wanna be with me in this?”
“Of course I want to.” He stood up and sat next to you. He took your chin so you could make eye contact. “I would love to if you want it and if you let me.”
All you could do was hug him tight. He embraced you and his scent was everything you needed to feel safe and calm again.
“Now… What's our plan?” He asked.

Fleurr, can you do one where the reader is slowly developing memory loss?
here you are, love!! this is a really angsty one that made me shed a little tear just thinking about going through this, but i hope i did it justice <3
pairing ; neteyam x fem!reader
synopsis ; your mind is slowly beginning to dwindle, but neteyam is forever by your side.
themes ; angst!!! with a little fluff, memory loss
Tumblr media
Forgetting things was a part of your life now, as permanent as an extra limb.
You don’t recall the first time it happened, the first time you stood there, mouth agape and confusion etched into your eyes, as your brain tried its damned hardest to recall something in particular.
There’s something ironic in that you can’t even remember that.
At first, you knew you’d brushed it off as just a simple mistake, one of those moments, one of those days. But, as those days crept on, it slowly started to diverge from a rare occurrence into a common one.
Sometimes, it would be the smallest of things, things that you could argue you were bound to forget at some point — where you last left your hunting knife, what you had for dinner the night before, little things like that.
It wasn’t until you couldn’t remember someone’s name, where it really started to hit you hard.
And, unfortunately, that it was one of the things you do remember. Probably because of how embarrassed you were about it.
Nothing about that day was any different — you felt the same, you were happy doing the same things, everything was normal. When night had descended upon the clan, and you spotted a group of Na’vi in the near distance, one of them doing a stupid impression of another hunter from that day, that was when things had changed for you.
Turning to Neteyam, who sat beside you as he started to gather your food for you, you had laughed, enjoying the impression, and began to show it to Neteyam. But, the name wouldn’t come to you. You knew that boy, because you’d been hunting with him for what felt like a million times, talking and laughing, so how could you forget his name?
Your laughter had subsided in an instant, a frown creasing your brow, and Neteyam knew almost immediately what happened. Unbeknownst to you, your mate had been keeping an eye on you since the first time he’d noticed you forgetting things. He supposed it was only a matter of time before it would start to get serious.
Tears had welled in your eyes when the slow realisation that this was truly happening to you knocked you back harshly, turning your head away as you slumped down, mentally exhausted. The comfort Neteyam offered was nice, was appreciated, but even he couldn’t fill in the gap that was your fading memory.
One of the hardest things was coming to terms with it all. At first, you’d refuse the notion, your stubborn self adamant that these little random blips were just one-time things, but a little part of you knew that was never the case.
You’d think, after years of living such a way, you’d be somewhat used to it. But, it never gets easier, despite the help those around you offer.
Today was a particularly bad day. Not in the sense of forgetfulness — throughout, you’d managed to not forget anything, with is a miracle in of itself — but, you just felt… off. Your reality was just a constant nagging sensation in the back of your mind, nothing able to coax your thoughts away from it, not even spending time with your mate.
The two of you are sat close together, hidden within the depths of your kelku (home), the materials draped down so as to give you some privacy. Privacy was something you relished in nowadays, thanks to your… situation.
As you huddled with your mate, hands deftly toying with strings and beads as you continued on with making a new necklace for yourself, you began to wonder down into your thoughts, eyes slightly glazed over and unseeing.
When Neteyam noticed your fingers had stopped in their movements, his gaze pointed at you. His heart all but dropped at seeing your expression.
With a deep sigh, almost as though to prepare himself, he gently nudged against your shoulder so as not to startle you. When you bring your attention back to him, he nods down at your almost-formed necklace. “It’s beautiful,” he says, voice gentle, patient, as always.
A faint smile graces your lips, but it doesn’t reach eyes. Your head drops down. “You’re just saying that.”
Neteyam’s instantly there to care for you, a heartbeat barely gone by. He reaches out, brushing a stray strand of hair out of your face. “I would never.”
But, he would, and you know he has done. There’s nothing malicious to it, of course — Neteyam does it to make you feel better, and you’re immensely grateful for it.
He’s not right, though — the necklace can’t be beautiful because it’s wrong. Something’s missing, something important. You blink repeatedly, hoping your mind might change the way it looks, but nothing happens. As your fingers move the necklace between your hands, you try to notice something off — this was a pattern you know you’ve done many times, on many different pieces of your clothing, and yet, you can’t remember.
You can never remember.
This was supposed to be a little gift to yourself, but now it just feels foreign.
“Neteyam,” you whisper, voice nothing more than a caress, shaking. “How do I normally do this? I can’t remember.”
And, there it is — the inevitable.
He can feel his heart clench within its cage at your words, doing his upmost best to keep his face from betraying how it truly makes him feel. He knows you more than likely know, but Neteyam will always do anything to keep you from feeling anything less than you should.
Despite this being nowhere near the first time it’s happened, it’ll never fail to feel like it is. Every time you forget something, it feels as though he forgets it, too. The two of you are in tune together, two bits of invisible string wrapped tightly together. Whatever you feel, he feels, and every time your heart breaks with disappointment, so does his.
With a tight smile upon his lips, his large hand covers yours, gently moving them around as he guides you through. “Here,” he murmurs, allowing the two of you to work together as he swaps some of the beads around, creating the pattern that is oh-so you. “Like this — how you always like it.”
Neteyam shouldn’t be surprised when you lift your head to find tears pooling within your eyes. “I don’t remember,” you choke out, shaking your head in denial. “It’s like… it’s gone. Like a piece of me is missing. It always feels this way, but it never gets any better.”
Ewya, if Neteyam could wrap you up within the safety of his arms for the rest of your lives, he would. He’ll just have to settle for now. And, when he does, your body instantly melts into his, head falling onto his chest as you begin to hear the steady drum of his heart, a lullaby to your ears. “It’s okay. I’ll remind you, every time, you know that.”
The one question that’s always nagged in the back of your mind since this all started years ago forces its way to the front, and you can’t hold it back any longer. Not with the worries always crossing over one another. “What if I forget you one day?”
Neteyam stiffened. He won’t lie, he’s thought of that, too, but, in the middle of the night, when he awoke tossing and turning as he worried more about you, he realised he’d do everything to make you remember him.
He pressed a kiss to the top of your head, hearing you sniffle away your cries against him. “Then I’ll remind you who I am. I’ll do it every day if I have to. No matter how long it takes.”
There’s silence for a moment, before your arms wrap tightly around him, squeezing like your scared his disappear completely. “Promise me.”
“I promise. I won’t ever let you face any of this alone, yawne (beloved).”
You don’t know how long the two of you stayed like that, wrapped within one another’s embrace and the promises between you. The necklace was long forgotten, memories of your past together flitting in and out, relishing in the love for your mate. And, you would hold onto those memories as tightly as you could, with Neteyam on the other end of the cord, guiding you home each time they dared to slip away.
All you could hear was the almost-drowned-out noises of the clan outside your kelku (home), but Neteyam could hear nothing but the vows he made both to you, and to himself. If you ever got to that point where you forgot, he’d always be there to remind you of who he was. And, he vowed that he’d always be there to fight this slow battle with you everyday, day in and day out. Even if it drained him. Even if it killed him.
Because to Neteyam, you were worth all the hard work, worth all the pain, as long as there was a smile on your face.
Always.

So there's this thing for couples where a husband will gently lift their pregnant wife's stomach to make them comfortable and take the weight off them. If you're ok with it a Neteyam x reader where they're adults he finds this trick out and tries it and she loves it, she'll just come up to him all time and nudge him to hold her like that. His family thinks it funny how she paws at him almost like a cat to held. If you don't want to write this that's ok❤️
A/N: okay so I it’s not a full fic but I hope you enjoy the Drabble

Neteyam watched from the entrance of your corner of the tent as you stretched in different ways trying to relieve some of your pain. He walked up beside you waiting for you to finish. You gave up with a defeated sigh. He reached out putting one hand on your back and the other one on the swelling of your stomach. “ what’s wrong syulang “ he asks you softly . You let out a soft whine “ everything hurts teyam, but my back is the worst with the pulling pressure “ he hummed listening to you gently rubbing your bump when he suddenly remembered something he had read a while ago when you had first told him he’d be a father in a few cycles time.
He looked into your eyes “ I think I have the thing t help with ma syulang , but you must trust me “ you huffed softly “ I’ll always trust you yawntu “.
He moved to stand behind you, he grabbed you pulling you to his chest. He moved his hand underneath your bump and slowly lifted it . You immediately felt relieved you moaned gently as you no longer felt like your back was about to snap with the weight of your child. Neteyam helped you as long as he could before slowly letting go. You sighed gently turning around again laying your head on his shoulder “ thank you Yawntu “ you mumbled into his neck. He smiled at this rubbing your bump” you don’t have to thank you syulang, I will do anything to help you.”
You both stayed holding each other for a few more moments before joining the rest of the family for evening meal.
Over the next few days this was your routine when he came home from his duties of that day he’d come over and help you with the weight. Today he arrived later with the rest of the sully men . Neteyam walked over to where you were sitting on the ground , helping you stand before bringing you into his arms. You quietly greeted each other afterwards you gently pushed his hands downward to the bottom of your bump . Neteyam tried to hide his smile before moving behind you and gently lifting your bump.
Jake lowly chuckled as he watched you paw at Neteyam, he nudged Neytiri gesturing towards you both. She looked up gently smiling at the once familiar sight that was once them over the years.

Neytiri x Fem!Omatikaya!Reader (minimal Jake x Reader x Neytiri)
kinkmas masterlist
Tumblr media
warnings: 18+ MDNI, claiming, protective!Alpha!Neytiri, clueless!omega!reader, himbo-type!alpha!Jake, P in V, A/B/O dynamic, threesome/throuple. The kids are in this but very briefly (mainly Lo’ak.) and they are aged way down. (Lo’ak is 5, Neteyam and Kiri are 6)
Translation:
Sa’nok - Mom (Neytiri)
Sa’nu - Mommy (Reader)
Muntxate - Wife/Female spouse
Jake was fucking into you relentlessly, all while Neytiri laid your head in her lap, pushing your sweaty baby hairs off of your forehead.
“I’m sorry!” You gasped out
“Oh you’re sorry?” Neytiri scoffed “Do you even know what you’re sorry for?”
You could only whine, Jake smirked down at you. Everything was overwhelming, you could smell both of them, they surrounded you. Not to mention Jake’s overly sized cock fucking your brains out.
“Aw, you gonna cum again?” Jake asked, beginning to quicken his pace, making your head lean farther into Neytiri’s lap
“Ah! I can’t!” You whine, almost thrashing against him “it’s too much!”
“Don’t fight it now.” Neytiri berated as she straightened you out, making you look at Jake as he fucked you
Jake moves with purpose, thrusting deep and hard, driving your pleasure higher and higher. Neytiri continues to scold you, her words like a whip that makes you moan even louder with each stroke.
He pushes you closer and closer to the edge, and you can’t help but to cry out in pleasure. You feel your whole body quivering with pleasure as you reach the peak. You collapse against Neytiri, exhausted, your body still tingling with pleasure. Neytiri releases you from her grip, her face still stern and unyielding. You lay there, spent and overstimulated.
“I should let him get you pregnant…” Neytiri chided “Then there would be know doubt of you belonging to us.”
You whined, trying to push away from Jake’s unruly thrusts.
“Oh you don’t like that? Maybe you shouldn’t flirt with other men of the clan and we wouldn’t have to do that.”
“I wasn’t flirting!” You whine
“Neytiri, give her a break.” Jake tilted his head, slowing his thrusts down.
Neytiri’s eyes snapped up to him, then back down to you. Her eyes softened just a bit. “Whatever you say.” She scoffed
Jake continued his thrusts until he was about to cum, which he then pulled out and released on your stomach.
Neytiri then pulled you up, sitting you in her lap. She began to nuzzle her head into your neck and shoulder, silently marking you as hers.
Jake had gotten up, getting a cloth to wipe his cum off of you.
“Thank you.” You sleepily sighed against Neytiri’s skin.
-
You were left alone the next morning, woken up by Jake with a kiss to your forehead and Neytiri was already gone.
All that you could smell was Jake and Neytiri.
Her sweet smell engulfed you, and his muskier smell comforted you.
Jake hadn’t cleaned up very well, his sticky cum still painted your thighs.
You thought about Neytiri’s words. Her threats of pregnancy… You felt yourself throb at the thought of Jake getting you pregnant. The thought is wiped away with Jakes cum, on a clean cloth.
You pull on your loincloth and adjust your top once again.
“Agh! Get off Neteyam! Sa’nok!” Lo’ak screeched from outside, they’d been up earlier than anyone else.
Lo’ak screamed for Neytiri, but she never intervened or said anything. You thought that she had left to attend other duties, but either way she seemed occupied right now.
Suddenly Lo’ak runs into your shelter that you shared with Jake and Neytiri. “Sa’nok! Neteyam was- Sa’nu?”
Your eyebrow raised at him. “What is it Lo’ak?”
“Sa’nu… I thought… I thought Sa’nok was in here…” Lo’ak looked around, his plan to snitch on Neteyam was foiled. “I smelled her…” He mumbled but you didn’t acknowledge the low spoken words.
“Sa’nu!” Lo’ak remembered that he could snitch to you as well “Neteyam was pushing me around! He sat on my head!” He whined to you, his little arms wrapped around you, seeking comfort
“Oh, come here my little Lo’ak.” You reach down to him, hugging him tightly in your arms
You sink down on to ground to speak to him on his level. “What else did mean ol’ Neteyam do?”
Lo’ak’s lip quivered as he held his arm out for you, a scrape on his elbow. “When he pushed me, my arm dragged on the ground.”
You frown at him, “It’s okay, Lo’ak.” You lean down, giving his small scrape a kiss
His hugs you around the waist again, Lo’ak was always a snuggly one.
“Sa’nu…” Lo’ak whispered to you
“Yes my little baby?” You answered, your hand gently petting his head
“Neteyam… he was also making fun of me because…” He hesitated, looking up at you to meet your eyes
“What? What did he say?” You asked, concern clouded your eyes
“He said that you were having a baby and that- that I was going to stop being your favorite.” Lo’ak cried to you as he buried his head in your stomach again
“Oh that’s not true.” You reassured him
“But I want a little sibling!” He whined “I want a brother, because I think Neteyam is broken! But I want to be your favorite!”
You laughed, hoisting him up to sit in your lap. “Lo’ak, nothing could ever push you out of the spot you have in my heart. If I did have a baby, you’d still always be my special boy, alright?”
Lo’ak smiled and nodded, hugging you once more before running back outside to play with Neteyam and Kiri again. You followed him out, finding Neteyam with his head pushed to the ground, and Kiri held his little hands behind his back while Lo’ak stood back with you in shock.
“Kiri! Get off of him!” You called to her, making her little determined face drop. She let Neteyam go, and he scrambled over to you.
“Sa’nu!!! Kiri hurt me!” Neteyam whined up to you
“Sa’nu!!! Neteyam broke my banshee!” Kiri also whined as she brought you the broken toy
“I didn’t mean to!” He cried back
“Stop!” You calmed them both. “If you three can’t behave together, I’m going to separate you and put each of you on opposite corners of the forest!”
“No!” All three cried at you
“Then behave!” You warned
Neteyam clung to you as Kiri and Lo’ak stalked away.
“You’re causing so much trouble this morning, Teyam. What is the matter?” You kneel down to him
“I don’t know…” Neteyam shrugged “I didn’t mean to.”
“If you say so…” You sigh, “Go play, be nice!”
Without you noticing, Jake had come back. He snuck up behind you, his arms wrapped around your waist, taking you completely by surprise.
“Such a good mother…” He muttered in your ear softly
“Mmm.” You grinned leaning back into him “You know I love our children.”
“I know, I know.” He kissed your neck. “You love the babies.”
You giggle as his hands venture to your hips.
“Should’ve let me put one in ya last night.” He nipped at your ear
“You’ve been talking to Neytiri about that too much.” You grumbled
Neytiri came back soon after that, the handle of her knife had unwound and she came back to fix it.
“I need to head up Kreyo’s.” You spoke to her
Neytiri and Jake shared a knowing look, making you scoff.
“What?” You ask, exasperated
“I don’t trust Kreyo,” Neytiri crossed her arms “Not as far as I can throw him.”
“Neytiri…” You begin, but you were cut off just as quickly
“What is the reason for this visit?” She asked, circling you as if you were her prey
“Neteyam broke Kiri’s banshee. And Kreyo made their banshee’s, remember?” You explained, retrieving the broken toy
“You spoil them.” Neytiri waved you off “She doesn’t need a new one, give her Neteyam’s, it is his fault hers was broken, so he should give her his.”
“I’m not getting her a new one, I’m getting hers fixed.” You gestured to the broken thing, “I’m not going to punish Neteyam for an accident, Neytiri.”
“I’m coming with you.” Neytiri declared
You shrugged, already turning around to continue your walk up to Kreyo’s
“I got the kids!” Jake grinned, practically running off like a he was a little kid as well.
The walk started off silent, but you could practically feel the anger radiating off of Neytiri.
“I could’ve fixed the toy, you know. There’s no need to go out of your way to go to Kreyo of all people.” Neytiri seethed
“I don’t understand why you are so upset.” You sigh
“You know I don’t trust Kreyo!” She growled
“I know! Why can’t you trust me?” You growled back
Neytiri was taken aback, stopping deaf in her tracks.
“I do trust you.” She scowled, “I don’t trust him.”
“Neytiri-“
“And I don’t like him, I don’t know why.” She snapped “You should trust my judgment.”
“You don’t like or trust anyone.” You scoffed
“Muntxate.” She sighed “Why is this toy a problem for you? I can fix it.”
“You know what Neytiri, never mind, I won’t go to get our daughter’s toy fixed, you can deal with it, I don’t care.” You shove the broken toy at her
She lets it fall to the ground, just simply staring at it.
“Muntxate.” Neytiri sighed softly once again “I am sorry.”
You feel as if your eyes are welling up, stepping towards her. “I’m sorry too…”
“Come here.” She held her arms out for you
Neytiri was overwhelming, her arms wrapped around you tightly. She patted your head down into her neck, still apologizing, you knew what she was doing, but you didn’t care at this point.
She lets you go, picking up Kiri’s toy and handing it to you.
“You should go get the toy fixed, I will see you at home.”
She turns, stalking away. You sigh, knowing she purposefully did that to rub her scent on you.
The visit to Kreyo mainly consisted of silence as he fixed up the toy, his nose twitching in your direction every so often.
“Are you with child?” He randomly sputtered out
“Excuse me?” Your looked at him, a small fire beginning to burn
“You just- don’t smell like yourself.” He shook his head “Forgive me, I didn’t mean to assume.”
The rest of the time was an awkward silence, he handed you the now fixed toy and waved you off.
You could practically smell Neytiri on yourself, you were like a walking cloud of her pheromones. Only now realizing that Neytiri rubbed off on you last night as well, which is probably why Lo’ak mistook you for her, her smell so strongly on you confused him.
But, Kiri was happy to have her banshee back.
Every thing was going pretty well until you heard a small whistle. You turned in the direction of the whistle, finding jake there. He calls you over with a simple nod to his head.
Fuck, here we go again.

Your friend Kiri is your best friend in the entire world, you have never met a girl quite as unique and caring as her, and you love her extra fingers and toes. Kiri was one of the most trusted healers in the clan, you on the other hand were very reserved and shy, your parents kept a hold on you even after all these years. You are now 19 and still you do not go anywhere alone.
Yours and the Sully family have been close ever since Jake Sully joined the clan years ago, you spent a lot of time with the children hence how you and Kiri are so close. The handful of people your parents trust you with sleep in the Sully house hold. Your parents often allow you to spend time, even nights at their house knowing someone they trust is with you.
You have never had any friends outside the Sully siblings in your entire life because if someone approached you, someone is always with you to scare them away. They do not want anyone to ruin your innocence, they do not wish for anyone to hurt such a fragile girl. Now, the protectiveness everyone has is not for no reason, when you were born you were your parents miracle child. After you, your mother couldn’t conceive another child and it was hard enough for her to conceive you.
Then when you were born, they thought you would lose you after you contracted an illness and got incredibly sick. The Sullys stuck with your parents the entire time and saw them through it so why wouldn't they trust them. Thank Eywa you recovered and grew into a very beautiful young woman.
For a while now you have been sporting a crush on your clan’s leader and your best friend’s father, Jake Sully. He just made your heart race in ways you didn’t know possible so what other emotion could you feel for him besides love? You always felt strange when he would touch you even in the smallest ways, like if he helped you with your archery stance, or when he cut up fruit and feed it to you so you wouldn’t have to get your hands sticky, even at your big age of 21.
You were not stupid, you understand that Jake is a mated man, you know he made the bond with his wife and that’s how he had children. You also know one day you will make the bond with someone and they will be your mate forever. Thought further than that, you have no idea. You know boys and girls have different private parts and only girls can have babies but you were under the impression only when you bond you get pregnant and your parents preferred it that way, because they know you would never bond without their permission.
There was recent talk between your families that you and Lo’ak are meant to be a mated pair so your parents can stay close to you and you will mate with someone you trust. Lo’ak as am amazing young man, he is an exceptional tracker when it comes to hunting, mating him is not the worst thing in the world but your tummy doesn’t flutter the same way when he is around than when you are with Jake.
You were meant to stay at the Sully household this weekend. Your parents and Neytiri are going hunting with Neteyam and Lo’ak. Jake volunteered to stay back with the girls while they went. The hunting trip was meant to last 3 days. You pack up your bag and you walk over to the Sully kelku and you say goodbye to your parents and settle yourself into Lo’ak’s room. You eat dinner with the family talking about their day and Tuk told you about the bracelet she made for her mother.
Kiri and Tuk quickly retired to their room and Jake turned on a human movie on the big screen tv in their common area. He prided himself in having time to use it as Neytiri doesn’t like that it is there. He turned on a movie called The Proposal, he thought it might be a good innocent movie to watch with you and he ended up having to explain the entire movie to you as you both watched but he didn’t really mind, his kids never cared to watch movies with him so he enjoyed your company.
When the boy and girl kissed in the scene in front of his entire family you gasped and covered your mouth, “They’re having a baby Jake, in front of everyone? Humans do that?” Now Jake knew your parents kept you on a tight leash but he had no idea you were this innocent. Jake glanced at you and saw you covering your eyes and he paused the movie. He double checked to make sure Kiri and Tuk’s room light was off so he knows they are asleep.
“Babygirl, that’s not what happens when people make babies, that’s not how girls get pregnant.” he said in a low voice. You drop your hands and turn to face him, “Well I know na’vi have to make the bond first but they are kissing that is forbidden unless you are mated, that’s how na’vi get babies”
“Ok I see your logic and to a point your right, but kissing is not all that happened when someone wants to make a baby.” you were confused, “So what happens?” you look at him with doe eyes. “Well after you make the bond, you and your mate will touch each other's private parts, you know, like you do by yourself, your mate will do it.” Jake tries not to think about what you might look like while you touch yourself but he couldn’t help but trail down your body with his eyes.
“Touch myself? I supposed to touch myself? How?” your question but him in a tuff spot, should he drop the conversation? Or should he tell you? Maybe even show you. “When you are alone, you’ve never felt a little different down there and let your hand help you?”
“I've felt different but I never knew what to do, happens almost every day, but I wasn’t sure I was allowed...” Jake squeezes his eyes shut and lets out a deep exhale, he can’t pass this up. “You know I take show you how to help yourself if you want? But you cannot tell anyone” you nod your head silently at him and wait for him to tell you what to do.
“I won’t tell, show me” you look so innocent he almost rolled his eyes back; it’s been years since the last time he took someone’s virginity, his wife’s. Jake told you to relax and he pulled you closer to him, his beefy right arm wrapped around your waist and sat on your thigh, his large palm covered the entire space. His other hand came to hold yours as he asked again if you are sure you wanted to do this. When you nodded once more, he pulled you up on his lap, and spins you to face him. You straddle his legs and Jake turns the move back on for some background noise.
You pay no mind to it as your attention is focused on Jake entirely. You’ve never been this close to him before; you can smell his musky forest scent. Jake asks your permission to take your clothes off and you allow him. His eyes dart back and forth from you to the doorway separating him from his children. Jake untied your top and your loincloths dropping them to the side next to you both. He takes in the sight of your body, so small and untouched, you look so beautiful. His hands run up your thighs to below your tits and back down.
“Ok firstly you have to want me to do this, are you sure?” you roll your eyes at his words he keeps asking if you are okay with this when the truth was you wanted nothing more, “Yes Jake, wanna kiss like the movie” you said softly, you feel how your body was responding to his eyes on you, how your skin felt hot and you blushed. Jake took a deep breath before he pulled you close, his eyes dart to your lips and back to your open eyes, “Close your eyes girl, follow my lead” he said before he pressed his lips against yours.
Your eyes flutter shut and your hands instinctively held onto his big shoulders, you let out a little hum when he pulled away from you, your folds were slick and without thinking you bring one of his hands to your cunt, “Is that normal?” you asked softly.
Jake dropped his head on your shoulder and groaned, one little kiss soaked you, how has he never done this before? “Yea babygirl, that’s normal” his finger glided through your folds slowly and gently making sure not to hurt you, his index came up to find your clit moving small circles on your nub. You moan and wiggle in his grasp and his other hand came around your waist to hold you still on his lap. He switches his index for his thumb and brings his middle finger down to your clenching hole. Your eyes move between his arm moving back and forth between your legs and his face that now has a light blush, he looks so pretty. You lean in and give him another kiss on the check and when he looks at you, he pulls you in for a kiss on the lips.
You moan into his mouth as his fingers work magic for you before he pulls away, he doesn’t stop his movements, only whispers against your lips, “I’m gonna do something ok? It might hurt a bit at first but after it will feel good, ok?” his voice was calm, he helped you feel your nerves in check when he slots his finger slowly into your cunt. Jake’s entire finger soaks in your pussy before he pulls out and starts pumping slowly, “You see what I’m doing babygirl? This is how you touch yourself, curl your cute fingers inside you like I’m doing, and it feels good right?’ his voice was so pleasing to hear.
Jake had the perfect voice to coach you through your new discovery, you shut your eyes and bit your lip when he asked you to insert another finger, you nod your head quickly and the stretch is almost too much for you. Jake feels the way your clamp down on his fingers you’re so close already but you don’t even know that, he swears he’s about to cum in his loincloth from how fucking sweet you look right now.
“J-jake, I feel weird, something is happening!” you squeal out in a low tone, his lips came down to kiss your neck making sure not to leave any marks as he does so, “You’re gonna feel even better baby, just let me keep going yea?” he whispers in your ear. “Y-yea, don’t stop!” your voice is pitched as you talk to him, he feels your body convulses when your clench on his fingers and gush on him. Your fluid drips down between your thighs leaking down his hand onto the floor.
Jake slows his movements until he stops and pulled out of you admiring the string of cum connecting his two fingers. His hand was a mess, but you were an even bigger mess. Your body was swaying on his lap, your head dropped down on his shoulder as if you were falling asleep and you were, you have never felt so good in your life. You question yourself as you drift out of consciousness how you have never done this before but you come up with nothing besides you will definitely be asking Jake to do this for you again.

🌸 I hope you all enjoyed reading! I feel like this was kind of rushed but I still enjoyed reading it. I thought about what it’ll be like when she mates with Lo’ak months from now and she’s fucking like she was pretending to be innocent all this time 🌸 Reblogs, comments and likes are always appreciated!
