Tumblr media
It was just a scratch.
A faint trail of blood marked a delicate line across the expanse of your torso, a disquieting contrast against your azure skin. A burning sensation flared up on your sides and yet, in spite of it, you pushed yourself off of the tree's trunk, grabbed your basket of herbs and trudged back towards your village.
At your sudden movement, the scratch stung harder, sending a searing hot, white pain up your torso. Gritting your teeth, you bit back a hiss of pain.
You were fine. It was fine. You had probably just pulled it when you stood up.
As you approach the village, you notice how a few of your people turn and gasp at your state. A cool shiver ran up your spine as you drop your gaze—Was it that bad?
Then comes a startling onslaught of dizziness that engulfs your consciousness. Before you could comprehend what was happening, your cheek meets the coarse texture of the earth beneath you, a jarring impact that sends your basket tumbling from your grasp. With a grunt, you strain your head up to see the herbal leaves scatter about.
As you fall, a wave of panic ripples through the crowd. Faintly, you register multiple pairs of hands coming to your aid, hoisting your limp body onto a woven mat.
"Call for the Olo'eyktan!"

TARSEM
"If we strike from here, the trees will provide us with ample cover," Tarsem remarked, his fingers gliding across the aged parchment of the map, tracing the landscapes with a keen eye.
Warriors and spotters encircled the table, their gazes fixed on his every move, minds soaking in every detail of the strategy unfolding before them. It was due time they began planning for their next attack on the RDA bases, it had been months since then.
Before the next words could be uttered, the room was thrust into chaos as a young girl burst through the door, her arrival punctuated by ragged breaths and a wild panic etched across her face. The warriors instinctively parted, creating a path through the sea of bodies, granting her passage toward Tarsem.
"Ma Olo'eyktan!" she panted, her voice trembling as she clutched his forearms tightly. "The Tsahìk was discovered unconscious deep in the forest. The healers are calling for you!"
"What?" Tarsem's expression tightened, a flicker of worry crossing his eyes. He swiftly surveyed the assembled warriors and spotters, his tone strung but composed as he addressed them.
"Continue the preparations," he commanded. "But be ready to adapt the plan if necessary. I will go and check on my mate. Until I return, Osek, you will be in charge."
Osek, a respected warrior renowned for his leadership abilities, nodded with a solemn expression. The rest of the group echoed their understanding, their voices hushed with concern. With the meeting taken care of, Tarsem turned his attention back to the young girl.
"Take me to her," he murmured, ears flat against his head as his posture turned rigid.
The young healer, with her face flushed and brows furrowed, nodded. Taking his hand, she began to lead Tarsem out of the tent, her steps matching his swift pace as they traversed the winding paths of the settlement.
As they ventured closer to the outskirts of the settlement, the ambient noises of the bustling camp faded away, replaced by the serene symphony of nature. Approaching the clearing where you had been laid to rest, Tarsem's steps grew cautious as he gently parted through the small crowd of healers, making his way towards your side.
"Ma'yawne," he whispered, his voice affectionate yet worried at the same time. The Na'vi knelt down beside you, brushing your damp hair away from your face. His gaze, a pool of tenderness, drank in the sight of you lying on the woven mat.
"What has happened?" Tarsem questioned those around you, only for them to shrug. They were just as clueless as he was.
Tarsem sighed, his frown deepening as he took in your appearance once more, noting the dizziness in your eyes and the pallor on your cheeks. However, it was the deep, crimson gash marring your side that captured his attention the most—a wound he guessed was inflicted by either a sharp branch or an encounter with Pandora's many wild animals.
"I…I am alright," you murmured, your voice a fragile reassurance, as you ran a hand over the wound, hissing at the touch. "It is not as deep as it seems. A few bandages will suffice. Return to your duties. The warriors need you."
"Nonsense," Tarsem shook his head, moving to tuck his arms beneath your back and knees. "I cannot leave you like this," he insisted, his voice firm yet gentle. "Your well-being is of utmost importance. The meeting can wait. Right now, you need proper care."
The look in Tarsem's eyes left no room for argument, reaffirming that his mind was made up.
Heaving a sigh, you gave in and nestled into his embrace, placing your weary head atop his chest, finding solace in the rhythmic beat of his heart. With ease, Tarsem carefully stood up with you in his arms, cradling you against his chest. Your mate began carrying you back towards the settlement, calling out for a few of the more experienced healers to follow along.
Once you had arrived in your shared kelku, he set you atop a hammock, staying close to your side but making sure to clear the way for the healers who would attend to you.
Turning your head back, you smiled up at him. "Thank you, Tarsem."
Tarsem simply hummed and lowered his head, pressing a gentle kiss against the side of your temple, lips a feather-light caress against your skin.
"Of course, yawne," he murmured, his voice a hushed vow. "I will always be here for you."

NETEYAM
"Kiri, it's nothing," you sighed, pushing yourself off the hammock, arms trembling. "I swear to you, I feel much better now."
Kiri clicked her tongue disapprovingly, shaking her head as she pushed you back down. "I am not even finished with your bandages, and the healing paste hasn't taken effect yet. You must rest, tsmuke."
You wrenched a hand into your disheveled hair as you let out a frustrated sigh.
"The herbs I gathered earlier—moonflower, healing rose—they're all gone, they lay wasted on the ground," you lamented. "We need to restock our supplies before the ambush in two days. It's absolutely crucial. Without fresh provisions, we'll be ill-equipp—"
"I will have the trainees gather the herbs, and I will inform Neteyam about your injury so you can rest easy. I am very sure he will understand," Kiri interrupted your rambling, her tone firm as she began wrapping bandages over your torso. At the mention of your mate's name, a pang of apprehension shot through you.
Oh Eywa, how would Neteyam react? He was already so protective of you, and this injury would no doubt only amplify his vigilance. You won't be able to leave the house for a month without him tailing after you like a second shadow.
"There's no need to involve Neteyam," you hurriedly interjected, forcefully pushing Kiri aside as you mustered the strength to stand on your feet, despite the pain. "I'm fine."
Before you could take another step, the tent curtains were abruptly thrown open, and a figure rushed in. A pair of amber eyes widened with concern as they locked onto your limping form.
Neteyam.
As he approached, his typically composed and reserved expression cracked, revealing the deep worry etched on his face.
It seemed like he ran all the way here. The Na'vi was in a frantic haste, sweat cascading down his furrowed brows while beads of perspiration clung to his jawline.
"By Eywa, what happened?" Neteyam's voice quivered with panic as he reached out, hands trembling slightly while he steadied you.
You tried to muster a reassuring smile, but the pain coursing through your body made it difficult. "Neteyam, I… I'm fine," you managed to say, your voice strained.
"No, you are not fine." Neteyam's distress was palpable, his hands gripping your shoulders tightly. "Look at you!"
Now he could properly see the swelling and gash on your torso, haphazardly covered by the unfinished leaf bandages clinging to your skin. A surge of horror washed over his face as he beheld the sight, eyes blowing wide open. Quickly, you wrapped your arms around yourself, trying to conceal the extent of your injury.
"'Teyam," you attempted to calm him, shaking off his iron grip. "It's not as bad as it looks. It's just a scratch."
"A scratch?" he repeated, shaking his head in disbelief. "What are you talking about, syulang? That is no a scratch. Why are you even up? You need to rest."
"I have responsibilities to fulfill, Neteyam," you huffed, stomping your feet in frustration, your actions mirroring those of a stubborn child. "You, of all people, should understand that."
Neteyam's tail lashed by his feet, a clear warning tinged with a touch of anger. Protective instincts, ingrained deep within, surged forth like a tempestuous storm.
"Do not argue with me," Neteyam's voice turned firm, his tone low. "I understand your position as Tsahìk is demanding, but this stubbornness will not aid your recovery. Do you really think you can heal in such a state?"
His stern words struck you hard, causing you to flinch involuntarily. The weight of his concerns settled heavily upon your heart, and yet your unwavering determination refused to give in to his protectiveness.
"I know why you're worried," you sighed, gently placing a hand over his chest, hoping to soothe him. "But I cannot remain here while important tasks await me. There is work to be done!"
Neteyam heaved a sigh, pushing you back down. His hands, roughened by countless battles, reached out to tenderly cradle your face. With a gentle motion, his thumb traced delicate circles onto your cheeks, the soothing caress speaking volumes of his love. His intense gaze then softened, those golden eyes losing their fiery edge as he allowed his anger to dissipate.
"I know you have an unwavering sense of duty, sevin," Neteyam murmured, the endearment rolling off his tongue like silk, a term reserved only for you. "And I love that about you. But sometimes, the best course of action is to prioritize your own well-being," he continued, peering deep into your eyes.
His warm, tender affections began to gradually chip away at the walls of your stubborn resolve. Though you initially resisted, deep down, you couldn't deny the truth in his words. Neteyam always knew how to get you to back down.
A bitter sigh slipped from your lips, laced with a hint of snark that thinly veiled the vulnerability simmering beneath.
"I hate admitting defeat," you grumbled, your tone tinged with reluctance, "But fine, you win. I'll rest."
As your words reached his ears, the corners of Neteyam's mouth curved into a grin, a blend of relief and amusement dancing in his eyes. In that moment, he couldn't resist the urge to draw closer, resting his large hands on your waist as he leaned in to press a tender kiss against your lips.
"Thank you, yawne," he chuckled softly.

TSU'TEY
(context: spider is your adopted son; although i decided to hint at him being an avatar in this scenario, you may also choose to perceive him as human instead.)
"Call for the Olo'eyktan!"
As you lay upon the bark floors of the Hometree, your mind spun, dots of black tainting your vision. With a low whimper, you attempted to raise yourself from the ground, only for a pair of hands to push down on your shoulder. You watched as your son's face came into view, twisted into a panicked expression as he took in your injury.
"Ma? Hey, hey, stay with me," Spider rasped, tenderly running his hand over your damp forehead. Eyes narrowing, you found yourself struggling to focus on his face, barely catching the look of worry in his eyes, and the lines of fear etched on his brow.
"Spider…" you managed to whisper, your voice barely audible. "I-It's okay. I can get up."
He shook his head, his grip on your shoulder tightening. "No, Ma, you need help. You can't push through this on your own."
You wanted to protest, to insist that you should be able to endure such trivial injuries, but your body betrayed you, the pain overwhelming and disorienting. As a healer, unlike your son and mate who were seasoned warriors, you weren't used to such levels of pain.
The stinging on your torso intensified with each shallow breath, making it difficult to form coherent thoughts or speak. Noticing your distress, Spider hurriedly reached a hand up to his communication device, paging for his father.
"Dad? You there?" Spider's voice cracked, laden with worry. "It's an emergency."
A familiar voice crackled through the communication device, filled with concern. Tsu'tey spoke, the rush of wind howling in the background. He must have been out on a ride with his ikran. "Ma'Itan, what has happened? Is everything alright?"
Spider's voice trembled as he responded, his distress palpable. "No, Dad, it's not alright. Mom is hurt. She fainted while gathering herbs, and she's in pain. There's a gash on her side. I…I don't know what to do."
Tsu'tey's heart plummeted, his entire being consumed by an overwhelming fear that gripped him to the core, seeping into the depths of his being. Reacting swiftly, his grip tightened on the reins of his Ikran, abruptly pivoting its course back toward Hometree. In the midst of his panic, he nearly forgot to respond.
After a momentary silence, his voice broke through, steady but laced with urgency. "I am on my way. Just keep her stable."
Spider nodded, ending connection before he moved to cradle your head in his hands. "Hang in there, Ma. Dad is coming. Just hold on a little longer."
As your consciousness wavered, the world around you seemed blurred and distant. Tremors of pain pulsed through your body, making it increasingly difficult to concentrate on your son's voice. Soon enough, your strength fails you, and your eyelids grow heavy. Everything around you fades away, and your consciousness slips into oblivion.
.
As you gradually regain consciousness, the world before you seemed shrouded in a haze, the remnants of your unconscious state still clinging to your senses. Blinking away the drowsiness, you found yourself within the confines of a dimly lit tent, its earthy aroma intermingling with the soft flickering glow of a nearby fire.
"Tsmuke," Neytiri says softly, her voice filled with both relief and worry. The tenderness in her voice offering you solace, like a soothing melody in your ears.
"Thank Eywa," she grins, running her hand up your cheek. "Do not worry; you are safe now."
Before you could respond, a firm arm wraps around your center, tugging you into a sitting position. Spider frantically pulls you up and into his tight embrace, face twisted in relief as he sighed deeply. "Hey, Ma. I'm so glad you're awake."
"My brave boy," you hummed, a bittersweet warmth erupting in your chest as you pressed a tender kiss on his forehead. The familiar scent of the forest clung to him—a reminder of his untamed spirit as a warrior who roamed the jungles with no fear.
At that moment, your gaze shifted to Tsu'tey, who anxiously hovered by the entrance, tail whipping by his feet. Sensing the tension in the air, Neytiri quietly left the healing tent, granting you a moment of privacy. With her departure, Tsu'tey finally lifts his head and catches your gaze, taking it as a sign to approach you.
"Yawne," He calls out for you, his voice trembling like the leaves of a quivering tree. It's a plea and a rebuke, all at once, his tone a blend of protectiveness and affection.
Spider then releases you from his hug, allowing his father to take his place. Tsu'tey kneels down and moves to hold you, embracing you so tight that it was as if he was trying to merge your souls together, desperate to ensure your safety.
"What were you thinking?" Tsu'tey grumbles into your hair, "I have told you many times to never venture out into the forests alone. You know better than to endanger yourself."
Sighing, you leaned into the embrace of your mate, finding comfort in his presence. Your cheek finds rest against Tsu'tey's collarbones, the rough texture of his beaded necklace grounding you in the familiarity of his touch.
"I did not know the cut was that bad. I had a lot of work to attend to, so I thought I could handle it," you admitted, your voice weary.
As you nestled against him, Tsu'tey found his anger melting into something warmer, something softer. He draws you back slightly, hands cupping the sides of your face as he presses a gentle kiss to your forehead, his voice now a caress against your skin.
"I know your work is important to you," he grunts. "But you must prioritize your safety."
"Tsu'tey—" you started, only to be interrupted.
"I cannot bear the thought of losing you. I have lost too much over the years," Tsu'tey took a moment to pause, his gaze searching the depths of your eyes for understanding. He needed you to understand. "This cannot go on like this. You must promise me that you will be more careful."
The vulnerability in his voice tugged at your heartstrings. A wave of guilt washed over you as you realized the fear you had awakened within him, causing old scars of his to resurface. With a sigh, you closed your eyes.
"I did not mean to frighten you. I will stay safer. I promise," you muttered, moving away from his embrace. "But things like this are inevitable. There will be times when you and Spider won't be by my side to protect me."
Tsu'tey and Spider exchanged glances, their expressions filled with concern. Without uttering a word, Tsu'tey enveloped both you and Spider in an embrace.
"We will come for you," he declared firmly. "No matter what. When you need us, we will be there."

AO'NUNG
As your consciousness flickered in and out, you became vaguely aware of the commotion around you. The panicked voices of your clan members and the urgent footsteps only added to your disorientation. And yet, amidst the chaos, a singular phrase pierced through the fog of your mind with an undeniable clarity.
"Call for the Olo'eyktan!"
That sent a chill down your spine, and you knew that the situation had escalated beyond your control. With great effort, you managed to open your eyes, the vibrant blue hues of the sky and the crashing waves on the shore seeping into your vision in strained fragments.
It did not take long for, Ao'nung to arrive. He emerged from beneath the waves, propelled by his skimwing beneath him. A frown was etched onto his face as he waded through the shallow waters, gliding across the waves with unmistakable urgency.
Upon reaching the shores, he swiftly dismounted from his skimwing, leaping onto the sand with ease. Pushing through the growing crowd that had gathered around you, he cleared a path to reach your side.
Lifting you off of the mat, he cradled you against his chest. "Yawntu?" Ao'nung's voice cut through the haze of your mind, "Are you alright? Can you hear me?"
With utmost care, your mate then shifted your body to the side, his gaze fixated on the deep cut marring your torso. The gash, painted in a vivid crimson, created a sharp contrast against the mesmerizing azure of your skin. The sight of it made his jaw tense, frustration evident.
"I-It is just a minor wound," you managed to utter through gritted teeth, your mind clearing as pain began to pulse through your body.
"Tsireya has already been called...She will help, but for now, I need your help in cleansing this," you murmur, gesturing to your bloodied side.
With a disgruntled nod, Ao'nung hoisted you into his arms and ordered the crowd to disperse. Once the people had departed, he began to take steady strides towards the water.
As the water levels reached the height of his chest, he shifted his position to support your head in the dip of his arm, allowing most of your body to be submerged beneath the rocking waves.
"I knew I should have come with you," he sighed, his voice barely heard above the salty swirling winds.
After a few seconds of struggling to find your voice, you managed to respond, though the words emerged with a subtle undertone of discomfort. "'Nung, it's only a cut…I think I just scraped myself along against a tree."
"Ah, yes, just a scrape against a tree," Ao'nung scoffed wryly, his mouth curling into a mocking sneer as his fangs peeked out from his lips. "I didn't know trees had razor sharp branches."
Cupping water in his hand, Ao'nung began to wash the upper parts of your cut that wasn't submerged. As the sting of saltwater made contact with the rest of your open wound, a sharp hiss of pain escaped your lips. This caused him to furrow his brow, concern swimming in those looming teal eyes.
"The pain seems to suggest otherwise," he noted, a heavy dose of sarcasm dripping from his lips.
"Funny," you replied, rolling your eyes in response.
Despite his biting remarks, his actions betrayed him, revealing a tenderness beneath that arrogant façade. His fingers moved with an uncharacteristic grace, tracing the contours of your cut as he delicately cleansed it, each touch a testament to his natural instincts as a mate to alleviate your discomfort.
It was a softness that you had grown accustomed to, but you knew that if any of the warriors caught a glimpse of their rugged chief in such a nurturing and affectionate state, their jaws would hit the ground so hard, you'd think Eywa herself had caused an earthquake.
As Ao'nung tended to your wound, he used his other hand to gently turn your head, guiding your gaze to meet his. Confused, you raised your brow. "Yes? What is it?"
"I will accompany you to your forages from now on. And I will not take no for an answer," he declared, his voice flat and void of any mirth.
And there it was.
"Ma Ao'nung," you cooed, your voice a velvety caress that was laden with both affection and understanding. "You worry too much about me. I am not as fragile as sea glass, you know."
A flicker of raw emotion danced across his irises, momentarily unraveling his stoic guise before he swiftly masked it with a dismissive scoff. "You should know by now that I won't let anything happen to you," he grumbled, ears tucked back as he meets your eyes.
"You may not be as fragile as sea glass, but you are precious to me," he says, voice a gravelly murmur. "I know you're strong, but that doesn't mean I will stop worrying."
With an amused click of your tongue, you leaned back against him, enveloped in the comforting warmth of his embrace. The gentle lapping of the ocean against your skin provided a soothing respite, easing your troubles away as you allowed him to dote on you.

.
.
Tarsem watched you as you whisper something in your sister, Kiri's ear and she laughs as ahe looks at him and his eyes go back to you and your looking back at you, your eyes looking upon him kinda made him nervous as his ears went to the back of his head and his eyes shoot down and he tries remaining his composure.
He had begun courting you two months ago. You two grew up together, learned together, and he had an admiration for you and that admiration soon formed to love. He only wanted you. Anytime he thought life with anyone else from the clan he feels and unsettling sizzling in his lower abdomen. Anytime he thought if you with another mate his heart aches a little. He could only see you.
When you thought of Tarsem you couldn't help but blush. Over the years you've watched him, grew closer to him, and even found yourself falling in live with him. You couldn't help but feel envious of whatever potential mate that Tarsem sees, you felt hurt knowing that one day he will have a wonderful mate, beautiful kids, and a content life and it wouldn't be with you.
But things turned around all those two months ago when he have you his official courting gift. It was an assortment of flowers and fruits that were your favorite flavors or color. He knew gou inside and out and he hoped you liked it. You happily accepted and you would never tell anyone you did a happy dance when you got home.
And the arrangement was only the first of many gifts. He wanted to prove to you and to your family he could provide and most importantly protect their daughter. He hunted the most hexapede, he saw it was your favorite whenever the clan would have it so he had to get it for you. He prepared the meat for you and your family, he saw you and smiled at you and you do the same walking to you. Reaching the meat in his hands out he gives it to you.
"For you and your family." He said and you smiled before wrapping your arms around his neck bringing him into your warm hug. "Thank you 'sem." His ears perk at the nickname you whispered in his ear. You were the only one who called him it he felt special. "I actually got you something too." You say a blush creeping up your cheeks. His eyes widen a he cracks a smile. "I heard that you've been wanting a new necklace and so I made you one." You say pulling one of the best necklaces you have ever made, it was red just like the one he has in now, but with differences only he and you knew and shined just right when the sun hit it.
He smiled and took the necklace replacing his old one immediately.
You each say your sheepish goodbyes as you walk to your kelku.
Opening the makeshift curtain that acted as a door you saw your family sitting down together. Jake was the first to notice the prepared meat in his hands. "You hunted." He asked and the family turned their attention to you.
Looking down at the meat you shake your head no and put it down. "Tarsem hunted it for me, well for us." You say making your way to the family circle. "Oooooo Tarsem." Your siblings giggle together. "Shut up." You say hitting Lo'aks head lightly before sitting down. Jake's eyes widen and his mouth makes and 'o' shape.
"Tarsem hm. He's good yeah?" It sounded more like a question rather a statement as you smiled lightly.
Jake could have sworn a few grey hairs sprouted from his head the more you talked about the flower and fruit arrangement and now the hunt. And how happy you looked his stomach did flips. He rubbed his head his little girl doesn't need him anymore.
"Sempul you okay?" You ask your father before grabbing a handful of grape like fruits Lo'ak was eating and handing it to Tuk who had been asking for a while. "Don't worry Tsmuke." Neteyam said as him a Lo'ak giggle like little girls. "He just doesn't want ine of his precious baby girls growing up." Lo'ak joked earning a slight grab of the ear by Neytiri.
"I'm fine baby girl." Jake said with a closed lip smile.
-Few momentary hours later-
.
.
.
.
.
.
"Neytiri I'm freaking out." Jake said and his mate looked at him full of confusion and concern as she made her way over to where he sat in their shared room.
"What is wrong Ma' Jake?" She asked.
"Its Y/N." He said tilting his head back with his eyes closed. Neytiri hums in response trying to coax more outta him. "And Tarsem." He said again and she realizes and smiles as she taps his shoulder. He opens his eyes and looks at her. "She is fine Ma' Jake." Neytiri said as she got up and went behind a changing curtain and change into her night loincloth. "I know she's okay, its just why himmmmm." He drug out the last words to emphasize who he was talking about. "My live you need not worry, Tarsem is wise for his age, and they will be good to each other." Neytiri said walking from behind the changing curtain and into their cot. "But she won't need me anymore." Jame pouted as he wrapped his arms around Neytiri and laying down with her. "She will always need you Ma Jake but she is one of the people now she can choose a mate all will be well." She said as she settled in close ready for a peaceful sleep.
.
.
.
.
.
It was not a peaceful sleep for Tarsem.
He stayed up all night perfecting a piece that matched the necklace you made him. Today would be the day he would ask your father permission to ask for your hand. He felt all giddy inside, his light, his love, the reason he breathed, the only one he wanted to please, you. Y/N te Suli Neytiri'ite.
He tied the last string to the top. It was beautiful, reminded him of you and all of your gloriousness. His hands ran over the top and smiled.
The part that clasped around your neck was reck as was his necklace. And what dropped down where strings that were black that shined and they wrapped around what would be your torso. He thought of you wearing it, how beautiful you would be.
He waited until the sun rose along with everyone else. He saw you, your hair was wrapped up in an eccentric style as you wore a netted top and a long loin skirt that hiked up your legs. Your skin was glowy as the sun hit it.
You held Tuk's hand and listened to whatever your father was telling you about and then your eyes clocked Tarsem who held something behind his back. Taking your hand that held nothing waving at him. Jake looked at who you were waving at and took a deep breath, it's not he didn't like Tarsem. Neytiri was right he was nice, wise, kind and a strong warrior. But Jake felt as if Tarsem was stealing you away.
Tarsem proceeded to you hopefulness ran clear through his veins.
He was now in front of you.
He tried to ignore the staring of your father but the way his eyes were basically piercing his skull, it was hard.
"Um, I wanted to ask you something." He began and your ears perked and your stomach tingled as you nodded in response. "Yes." You mumble after a moment of silence except for the little giggles that Tuk squeaked out and Jake's very uncomfortable staring. "Uh can we go somewhere a little more private?" He asked and you looked around and eyes land on your father and his peering eyes, widening your eyes to tell him to stop, he doesn't.
"Yeah we can." You say. "Uh Y/N." Jake said and you shot him a pleading look, sighing once more he takes Tuk im his arms and nobs as he walks off.
Taking Tarsem's hand you walk just a litte ways into the forest not to far, smiling back at him as your hand never left him you find a nice secluded spot.
You step in front of him. He looks down at your hand still interlocked with yours. "Oh sorry." You say sheepishly taking your hand away heat rushing to your face and tuck a loose piece of hair behind your ear.
"Y/N um," he began.
"You are perfect, truly. The best thing the great mother ever made. Your laugh, the way your eyes light up when we ride on our ikrans, the way your protective over the people you love, the way on side of your cheeks have a dimple and the other doesn't, how you favorite time of the day is one hour before the sun rises because all of the animals nocturnal or not, and how you like your food extra hot even though its gross." He continues as you giggle at his words and he smiles heartily.
"And I was wondering if you would do me the honor," he said before gulping nervously.
"If you would do me the honor of being my muntxa si." He finished.
Your face was dumbfounded as he confessed all of his heart out to you. You reach for his hands squeezing them you held eye contact with him far a while as your face softened and relaxed into a content one. You wait a second, but it felt like years until you moved your body closer to his, chest to chest. He could feel every breath you took, every beat your heart made, he could feel you, see you.
Stepping on your tippy toes you plant a soft kiss on his soft lips. His lips chased after yours as you pulled your head away, giggling under the hand over your lips.
"I'll take that as a, yes?" He asked and you let your hand hold his as your smiled at him. "Yes." You say and just as you go in for another kiss you hear something.
"Tuk shush, oh no no no don't pull daddy's hair." You heard your eyes immediately went to where the words came from, and sure enough behind a bush you saw your fathers obnoxiously large shoulders and Tuk who was pulling on his dreads.
"Come on out." You say and he still pretends to be hidden. Tarsem looks toward where you are staring at and he sees your father and sister and his face heats up.
Reluctantly, Jake came out behind the bush with Tuk who smiled widely. "I'm sorr-" Jake went to say before you point to hometree and he nods and starts his walk.
And as you and Tarsem walked back into hometree you heard Tuk's small voice yelling.
"Y/N amd Tarsem kissing in the forest k-i-s-s-i-n-g."

“MY LITTLE GIRL IS GROWING UP”
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
PAIRINGS: DAD!JAKE SULLY X DAUGHTER!READER, TARSEM X READER
SUMMARY: In which Jake Sully realizes that his little girl ain’t gonna stay his little girl forever.
WARNINGS: protective dad Jake Sully, fluff, Jake making a bad decision and facing the consequences,
A/N: this sucks but it has been sitting in my drafts for a long time.
Tumblr media
Jake can always remember the day [name] promised she would never love any gross boys, especially not Tarsem, only her daddy.
You were about 6, but still Jake would like to believe that you still thought like that. Jake had picked you for the young Omaticaya’s ‘training grounds’ and asked you if you had fun. You quickly replied ‘no’ and ‘it was worst day yet’.
Jake worried about his daughter asked why and you told him that Tarsem said he would court you when he got older. Jake’s ears flicked down at the thought of someone courting his grown daughter.
And now, 14 years later, it was happening. Whispers among the People reached their Olo’eyktan’s ears. Varying from Tarsem presenting you a section of his kill or how he was the hunt for [name]’s favorite flower.
And Jake didn’t like it at all.
In his eyes, you were still his babygirl—his first born daughter who stilled played with her carved dolls. You were to young to have a mate (though being older than both your parents when they mated) in his eyes. Yet after a long communal dinner, you arrived home with a new beaded necklace around your neck. Jake knew exactly who and why they had given to you.
So Jake did the rational thing any father would do and commanded you were not to see Tarsem anymore. And as any daughter who had just fallen in love would do, you flipped out and stopped talking to your father.
It pained Jake to see you ignore him and also sending Tarsem such longing looks. So Jake, realizing that it wasn’t the best thing to do, decided to talk to you.
“Hey babygirl, mind if I talk to you?” Jake settled himself by your side at the edge of the kelku, dangling his feet by yours. The only response he got was a huff and you turned your head the opposite direction of your father.
“I deserve that,”Jake laughed at first, then got serious, “I understand that maybe commanding you to stop hanging out with Tarsem was definitely not the right decision.”
You finally looked at your father. “Continue.” you spoke to him for the first time in a few weeks.
“Well, I guess I was worried that once you and Tarsem officially mated, you wouldn’t need…well you are growing up and I just worry that you are going to stop needing me.” Jake pushed out, his voice cracking towards the end.
“Oh dad, I am never not going to need you. And some things may change once Tarsem and I mate but you being father will never.” you comforted your dad while he pulled you into a hug.
“Just promise me that you will always be my daughter.”
“Promise.”
“Then I suggest you go tell your lover boy that you two can court. You not talking to him as throw him off of his A game and I need my best hunter back.” Jake chuckled and you raced off to embrace your lover.
Jake, sadly, watched you disappear, finally realizing that his babygirl was growing up.
[BONUS]
Jake was going to get up when suddenly a force hit from behind, wrapping their skinny arms around his neck.
“When can I get boyfriend?” Tuk questioned her daddy. Jake pretended to think about the answer.
“Never.”
“Too late, daddy. I already have one.” Tuk proudly told him before she off and running back into the kelku. Jake’s gears turned as he progressed her statement.
“Wait, what?”

Intimacy Challenge: Day (6)
30 Day Intimacy Challenge
word count: 2k
Day 6: afternoon delight is a term for a midday sexual encounter, often between or instead of scheduled events.
A/N: I'm really nervous about this, i typically stay away from writing anything related to smut only leading up to it, so I apologize if this sucks <3
Tumblr media
Tsu'tey:
"Need you yawne."  Your mate had said wrapping his arms around you and pulling you flush against him as you placed kisses along your neck.
"I'm already yours my love." You said to him as kept placing kisses along your neck as he undid your top letting it fall to the floor.
You turned into his arms and wrapped your arms around his neck as you kissed him. He deepened the kiss as he picked you up which caused you to wrap your legs around his waist as he walked you guys over to your bed. He gently laid you down on the bed without breaking the kiss and started to untie your loincloth as you did the same for him until you both were able to take them off fully.
"So beautiful ma y/n." He said smiling at you as he continued to work his way down your body.
"Ma Tsu'tey.....please..." You said as his tongue worked wonders on you as you softly grinded into his face tanging your hands in his braids.
You just barely catch on to the way his hips are moving;  letting out soft grunts into your pussy as he focuses solely on making you feel good.
After that first orgasm, he then lines his self up with your entrance before gently sliding into you as you are caged underneath him with his lips on yours. Once you give him the okay to move, he begins thrusting in and out kissing all over your body adding to your pleasure before you feel that familiar feeling.
"Ma Tsu'tey....I'm gonna..." You say though breathless moans.
"I know Ma Yawne, I am too. Go ahead and go cum for me." He says as you pull him closer to you so you could kiss as your orgasm washed over you.
You laid there catching your breath and coming back to reality when you felt him cleaning you up there making you jerk from how sensitive you still were.
"So sorry yawne." He said placing a kiss on your lips.
Z-dog:
You were in your room getting changed after one of the interns accidentally spilled coffee over your outfit before your meeting in an hour, so you ran back to your room to see if you had anything else that look decent enough for you to change into before your meeting.  You were shuffling through your drawers looking for another outfit just in your bra and panties when you heard your door open and close.
"Now this is a sight I could get used to coming home and seeing." Your girlfriend said walking over to where you were at.
"Stop I'm not even supposed to be here, I just came to change because one of the interns decided to decorate my outfit with coffee before my big meeting in an hour.
"My love, you sound so frustrated...why don't you let me help you out a little?" She said placing kisses along your neck and ear while her hands explored your body.
"Baby...you know...I can't..." You said struggling to keep your composure as she worked along your neck and hands started to play with your breasts.
"Come, love, you know I can make it quick when I need to. Let me take care of you and if you happen to be late, then it will be the intern's fault and not yours." She said softly turning you around to face her.
You sighed looking at your watch and seeing you had time to do some before your meeting, and decided to fuck the meeting, if you were late then you were late.
"Fuck it." You said crashing your lips on hers which made her smile.
She picked you up and set you on your bed and went back to kissing you and leaving marks all over your body as she lowered herself down. You lifted up your hips, as she pulled your underwear down and toss them somewhere before diving straight into your cunt as if it was her last meal.
"Alicia......baby.." You said through moans feeling your orgasm approaching.
"That's it, baby,  just let go, I’ve got you.” She said looking at you as she continued her assault.
Soon your orgasm washed over you, and you just laid there struggling to catch your breath while your girlfriend got up to most likely get something to clean you up. You watched as she shuffled through your drawers before pulling out something with a smile making you look at her confused.
"You feel better now?" She asked you.
"Definitely, thank you, baby." You said leaning up and placing a kiss on her lips.
"No need to thank me, always happy to help. I found you something that you might be able to wear for your meeting." She said.
Jake:
"We gotta be quick baby, I'm supposed to meet Tsu'tey and the other warriors here in twenty." Jake said to you as you climbed his lap and aligned yourself with his cock before sinking down on it.
"Well, I guess we are good at making things quick." You said smirking at him before attaching your lips to his.
"You're trouble, you know that?" He asked you as he bounced you up and down while attacking your chest with kisses.
"But yet you still love me." You said with a breathless moan.
"You know it, baby, here give me a kiss." He said leaning up and attaching his lips to yours.
Soon enough you felt the familiar sensation in your stomach making you breathless and grind more into Jake who just kept his pace going.
"I know baby, I've got you." He said placing kisses all along your neck.
Soon your orgasm washed over you as you held on to Jake as he kept fucking you through it and soon you felt his release as well. You guys just sat there still connected catching your breaths when Jake gently pulled out of you and carried you over to your bed.
"You alright baby?" He asked you.
"Yeah just need a few minutes." You said sleepily as he set some water and food beside your bed.
"Sorry to just fuck you and leave you but Tsu'tey will be here any minute but I did leave some water and food for you." He said.
"It's alright, I understand ma Jake." You said.
"I love you, baby, I'll be back soon." He said placing a quick kiss on your lips.
"Love you too Ma Jake." You said to him.
Neteyam:
"Shh, we can't wake her up." Neteyam said making you giggle as he kissed your neck.
"I know and we gotta hurry up because her sleep schedule is so unpredictable." You said to him.
"Then let's not waste anytime." He said smiling at you as he undid your loincloth and lined himself up with your entrance.
He gently slide in and it was a bit uncomfortable at first but you knew once he did it again the feeling would go away after all it had been a few months since he's been inside of you so you had to get readjusted to his size.
"Are you okay ma y/n?" He asked worriedly seeing in discomfort.
"Yeah just a little sore from her is all, please continue." You said to him.
"I don't know if I should. I don't want you..." He was saying before you cut him.
"Ma 'Teyam, I've been waiting for this moment for weeks please don't take it from me." You said making him smirk.
"So I have my love. Just tell me the second you felt any discomfort and we can stop without any questions." He said making you smile at how caring he was.
"I will, I promise. Now give me a kiss." You said pulling him towards you.
Once he slid in again, the discomfort went away like you knew it would. The only sounds in the tent were the sounds of ya'lls breathless moans and grunt and soon you felt the sensation in your stomach and you could tell your mate did too. At the same time, your orgasms washed over each other making him collapse on to you, while ya'lls caught your breaths.
"How was it ma y/n?" He asked you worriedly.
"Just perfect as I remember it." You said smiling at it.
"Good, I forgot how much I missed your body ." He said kissing you.
"Right on cue." You said with a laugh at the sound of your daughter's cries.
"Stay right here, I got her." He said standing up and walking over to where she slept.
He walked back over to your bed with your daughter in his arms and took a seat next to you with a smile on his face.
Tarsem:
He had come for lunch in a mood over something that went wrong with training and apparently Tsu'tey chewed him out for it. He was just so frustrated and you didn't know to calm him down so you grabbed his face and placed a kiss on his lips which he responded to by deepening it.
"Ma love, I have to go back after lunch." He said.
"Well, it's a good thing we are good at making things quick hmm?" You asked him as he sighed after kissing you like that, there was no way he couldn't finish.
"Yeah, it is." He said picking you and carrying you to the bed.
Once you were set on the bed, you guys went back to kissing while your hands wandered all over each other's bodies making you both moan. He worked his way down your body and then he undid his loincloth tossing it somewhere before lining himself up with and gently caging you under him while he slide in.
"Fuck you were made for me flower." He said as he thrust in and out of you.
All that came out of you were moans and a few purrs from how much you were enjoying it. He kept kissing you and placing kisses all over your body when you started whimpering letting him know you were close.
"I know flower, I'm almost there too." He said to you.
Your orgasm washed over you first and then his happened and now you two were laying there catching your breath when he turned on his side to look at you.
"Thank you flower, I needed that." He said placing a kiss on your forehead.
"Your welcome, hopefully, Tsu'tey will be in a better mood after lunch or I'll come to beat him up myself." You said making him laugh.

Hii i saw that you make stories for avatar if you write for tarsem please make a storie for him, fluff with reader or anything else you want, if you dont write about him please make sully family x oldest sully daughter, anything you want (^.^)(^.^)☺️
hey my lovely, fortunately i already have two stories in the works about being an elder sully sibling. so let’s have a crack at writing a small fic for Tarsem :)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Tarsem x GN human! reader
warnings: some angst, lots of fluff
Tumblr media
The night’s air was cold, it’s chill felt throughout all of the navi in the hallelujah mountains. Normally the heat, or lack of it, wouldn’t be a big problem, but without a mate, and being a small human, the temperature was freezing. You laid awake, staring at the clustered sky, filled with millions of stars, and specks of planets, one that you came from. earth.
but every day on pandora had you yearning to be a true na’vi. Your avatar body was wonderful, but knowing you’d eventually have to wake up to be a human once again, it was a dreaded feeling. Norm, one of the other avatars, a scientist, was trying to find a safer solution to permanently switching bodies. Eywa unfortunately did not allow everyone to pass through, but in hope that you would one day have the chance to pass through and receive her judgement, you spent time with her. Her, being the creatures of pandora, the flora and fauna, appreciating every inch of the planet you were on, because eywa was everything at once.
it was the same night with you wondering what could be, when you heard faint whispers outside. without your hyper sensitive ears, it was hard to listen in, but you slid down from your bed and made your way to the farther side of the tent. Today had been a scary, and uncertain day, news spread quickly that the sully children were under gunpoint, luckily saved by their parents and older brother. So you weren’t very surprised to hear the hushed voice of your olo'eyktan, Jake Sully. but what did surprise you was the recipient on the other end of his whispers.
“it is, no longer safe for my family.” Jake ushered quietly, despite out of sight, you could feel like he was scratching his neck or fiddling with his hands. “we are the reason the omatikaya are.. in danger.” with a sigh he muttered the next sentence strongly. “me and my family leave tomorrow, we will go far, and hope that the sky people never find us and we live in peace.”
Tarsem, let out a chuff of understanding. “i understand.” his respect for Jake was unmatched, he was raised during the war and was beyond relieved when it had ended. now that it had come back, he was angry, tired, so many confusing emotions when he just wanted peace for his people. “but why are you telling me this?”
the next piece of news had you struggling not to gasp.
“with my choosing, i’d like you to be olo'eyktan, only if you choose it too.” Jake spoke earnestly, hope hanging off of his every word, just waiting for Tarsem to take the burden off him.
silence overcame the night briefly.
“i would be honoured.”
———————————————————————
despite the heavy lack of sleep, your eyes were wide open, your body awake and energised because today was a celebration, but also a goodbye. you sought out Tarsem, wanting to congratulate him, he was a very worthy olo'eyktan, he was wise and strong and kind.
when you found him by one of the edges of camp, tending to his ikran, you stepped towards him softly, rearing back slightly when the creature he was holding onto, snapped its head to look at you. Tarsem turned quickly, and eased, seeing you weren’t a threat. “Hello little human, it is early no? why are you awake?”
you tried to control the flush coming to your face, of course he didn’t know your name, and now you had doomed yourself to always being called human because you hadn’t woken up and went to transfer to your avatar. “i wanted to congratulate you.” you ignored the pet name, smiling because being the new leader was so much honour.
Tarsem clicked his tongue, one hand sliding off his ikran, “no one has been told yet, how do you know little one?” his brow raised, waiting for an answer.
“forget it.” you fought a hiss, in your human form he would simply laugh if you did. “i do not wish to be called little one, or little human.” you turned on your heal, but was gently prodded to stop.
“i apologise.” Tarsem muttered sincerely, “what’s your name, i’d like to make it up to you.”
you gave him your name, gaze softening slightly at his apology before retreating away to your link, it felt wrong to be in your human body for too long.
—————————————————————————
although the sully’s were now gone, people of the omatikaya were motivated to celebrate the choosing of a new olo'eyktan. There was a hungry fire, feeding on whatever wood the na’vi would throw at it. and traditional music blared around the campfire, hand crafted beautiful drums and trained voices ignited the spirit of every person present.
your Na’vi body felt much more comfortable than your human form. As a human you were tall, as a Na’vi you towered over most. you found it endearing, dancing with the young children who could barely reach your knees. The night was young and the celebration would be long, Tarsem was to be warmly welcomed, and the gathering would prompt him to select his tsahik. being able to see every woman of the clan and see her personality, her grace, her mannerisms and her soul. Or atleast you assumed it was to be a woman.
when a young child gleefully rushed to you, requesting to dance again with a grin, you could never say anything but yes. you bent down to be closer with the kid, bobbing and swaying, chuckling as the younger na’vi began bouncing with toothy smiles. “you’ll tire yourself out.” you tutted with ni malice, picking up the child to give them a break, and to instead slowly spin around while they gained their breath back. “you must be a very strong child to dance for that long.” you softly looked down, praising the boy who had massive twinkling green eyes, his excitement shone through effortlessly. “what a mighty warrior in the works.” and that was it, the boy was urging to get out of your arms, practically pouncing on his mother to tell her how much of a mighty warrior he was.
it was sweet. that even as a human, the people had favoured you. Eywa had favoured you, letting you into a wonderful home that was now yours.
you failed to notice a figure walking towards you, too captured by the flames of the growing fire. A clearing of the throat had you halting, slowly shifting to the recipient. Tarsem, a surprise.
“you seem familiar.” the now leader spoke, puzzled, quizzically tilting his head at the tallest Na’vi he had seen, and the most, beautiful too. seeming graced by eywa herself.
you couldn’t contain the laugh that spilled out of you, maintaining eye contact with a grin, you offered your hand. his eyes widened at the sound of your voice, realisation and slight confusion dawned upon him, you were no longer such a tiny human. “dance with me, if you want to make it up to me?” you asked cheekily, watching a hue of purple flood to his cheeks. he reached forward and engulfed your hand, but he looked slightly out of place, his movements were stiff desperate him trying desperately to succumb to the rhythm. it dawned upon you that he struggled to dance, it only made your toothy smile widen.
how sweet.
your dancing wasn’t too intricate, trying to accommodate for tarsem. you swayed your body, twisting and turning in time with the music, the world felt like a stage you were performing on. you locked eyes with Tarsem again, trying to deny how his gaze made you feel deliciously uneasy. apparently he wasn’t paying attention either, and harshly bumped into you.
spews of apologies came out of his mouth again, he had honestly been caught off guard, trying to impress you and yet his wrong footing caused him to injure you, yet again. you tsked at him, although with no anger. he bashfully spoke his apologies again and again, you shushed him after a few seconds. “what am i going to do with you?” you snickered, pulling him in to dance again.
and that was indeed a question. Because Tarsem found that he wanted to do everything with you, human or not. He had never felt this way, he had never felt so shy. He had a feeling that his tsahik was standing right in front of him.
it was just him wondering how they would come to be mated. He prayed to eywa, i want this one. this human. this na’vi, whatever they are. they are different.
Tarsem swore that he had heard a slight tune of a whisper, imbedding itself in his ear, and he truly hoped Eywa had approved.
————————————————————————-
A/N: thank you so much for the fic request :) hope you liked it, left it a little open ended in case there was ever a part 2. it was fun writing for someone i wouldn’t normally write for. Tarsem seems like an absolute sweetheart

I'll wait no matter how long it takes
Pairing- Tarsem x Sully!reader
Summary- Tarsem would wait for you, no matter what.
Request-yes
Tumblr media
A/N- I need him looking at me like that right neow.
-A few years earlier-
Jake sat with the elders and Neytiri. You knew today was the day they would choose you to begin learning the ways of Tsahik and Neteyam to learn the ways of the Olo'eyktan. You didn't think it was fair, you would be just as good, if not better Olo'eyktan. So here you were storming into the elders’ chambers. "And so Y/N will train to be Tsahik.." One of the elders’ proclamations was cut off by your booming voice, "No I will not." You say and everyone's wide eyes turn to you.
" 'Ite, (daughter) you shouldn't be here.." Neytiri interrupts in the suddenly tense air and you cut her off. "It is tradition for the eldest to train to be Olo'eyktan, yes?" You ask and the elders share a look amongst themselves. "Yes.." One of them said cautiously, trying to choose their words carefully. "And I am the oldest, yes?" You ask them again and they all nod reluctantly.
"So why is it that I cannot be Olo'eyktan after my father? It is my right by birth." You say, eyebrows creased as you stressed the importance of your words. "Is it because you think less of me? Or is it because I am a woman?" You ask which then makes all that were present in the room share a sharp inhale. It looks as if they all have connected thoughts as they shake their heads in unison. The elder that sat in the middle looked at you and straightened his back, mulling over his next words.
"Y/N te Suli Neytiri'ite, you are a wise child, with a strong heart, and one can attest that you can make a compelling argument." He said and you bow your head slightly. "And that is why we will allow you to train as Olo'eyktan. I have seen your skills in battle, you will learn from your father but not just as a warrior but as a leader, you will learn the triumphs and failures that come with being Olo'eyktan. Are you ready for that?" The older man asked, eyes meeting yours as if scrutinizing your next move.
There was a moment of silence as you maintained eye contact with the older man. A beat passed. And then two before you parted your lips to let your answer slip through.
"Yes."
And after that day you sat in on every war meeting, every advice on battle strategy your father got, you heard, you traveled with him when meeting and commencing trades with the other nearby clans, you trained and trained until you were better than everyone. You were one of the strongest warriors of your clan, and you were wise beyond your years.
You didn't have much of a life outside of training, but there was one person you always made time for. Tarsem. He was kind, gentle, different from the other na’vi men in your clan but he was strong. And everytime you were paired with him to train or even go on raids with one another, you couldn't help the mighty thumps of your heart against your chest.
And then came the fateful night where you and Tarsem became one. The mere memory of it allowed a smile to grace upon your lips.
Tarsem held your hand as you ducked under a branch and revealed a beautiful tree. It was flourishing with life, but hidden behind other forest life. "I found this while hunting the other day and I thought of you." He said and you smiled. And there you sat and talked. But Tarsem couldn't pull his eyes away from you. The way when something funny happened in the story you had to stop yourself from bursting into a fit of laughter, or when a creature came from the shadows, you halted your words to observe it. So caught up in the story you were currently telling, you didn't notice the way Tarsem held your hand in his. Your hands fitting perfectly in his, he thought as he allowed his thumb to caress them.
Stopping your story at the light touch of his thumb against the back of your hand, you turned to look at him, his soft green eyes peering back at you. No words were needed as the grip on his hand tightened and you both leaned towards one another. A million fireworks, colorful explosions as your father called them, went off as both your lips connected. His arm worked its way around you, lifting you off the ground by your waist and putting you on his lap. You pulled away, cradling his face as he craned his head up to gaze into your eyes before he reached for his kuru.
Nobody in the clan knew you and Tarsem mated but it wasn't needed as he waited on you, hand and foot. He was completely and utterly in love with you. Anything you wanted or asked for he had it before you even thought of it, he was yours. Mind, body, and soul. As you were his.
But now you sit, listening to your father tell you that you have to leave, abandon your home. And when the words, "Tarsem will take over as Olo'eyktan he has already been notified." Tears pooled in your eyes. You had to leave your mate.
"Dad, I forgot to tie Tsalwi up. May I go?" You ask, trying to hide the waver in your voice that threatened to break. He looked at you as if observing, before nodding, watching as you quickly excuse yourself from your family’s kelku (home). Your chest rose up and down as you ran into the forest.
When you get to the exact step you pulled the bunched up tree bush back to see Tarsem standing up looking at the tree you two found all those months ago. He turned around and it looked as if he had cried his entire heart out yet his eyes still filled with tears as they met with yours. And no matter how hard you tried to push the burden of emotions off, you couldn't. As the tears fell from your eyes, all of your words were caught up in your throat as your hand covered your mouth. He walked closer and wrapped his arms around you, tugging you in his embrace and you melted hearing his heartbeat and feeling every shaky breath he took. You hiccuped as you tried to stop crying but the tears that fell were never ending.
His hands cradled the sides of your face, a forced smile finds its way to his lips and a tear drips from his eyes now. "I'm sorry, my love." You say pressing your head to his chest. "For what?" He whispered, he was truly confused why on this earth would the love of his life apologize to him? "For.. leaving you." You day through choked sobs. "But that is not your fault, Ma' Txe'lan (heart). There is nothing we can do but love at the moment." He says making you look him in the eyes as he holds your chin. "But.. but what will we do, we will not have each other, we do not know for how long.." You sob and he gently shushes you, hands going down to your neck, thumb going over your pulse as his nose twitches pitifully with sadness.
"I will wait for you, no matter how long it takes."
His words bring a strange sense of comfort over you as you smile, a content smile gracing your lips as his forehead pressed against yours as you shared one breath.
.
.
.
And the next morning, as you watch your mate cut your father across his chest, a breath hitches in your throat and your stomach flips over on itself. And as he turned to the clan knife in the air your gaze cast down to the ground, afraid if you look you'd stay.
As you hiked yourself up on your ikran, Tsalwi, she felt your pain, a saddened screech erupted from her throat as she began flapping her wings in a ballistic manner, your eyes made it to the new Olo'eyktan, your mate, your Tarsem. Bowing your head to him one last time before connecting your queue and riding off to wherever your father had deemed fit.
.
.
.
.
.
.
When you did finally get to the place your family searched for it was anything but what you were expecting.
Many of the people accepted you, reluctantly. But, the others. They sneered, they mocked, they bullied. You ignored it, but your hard headed brother didn't know how to and that always dragged Neteyam in it.
Adapting was fairly easy for you, but each day you yearned for the touch of Tarsem, a kiss from him, the thought of him made you happier in this shit hole of a situation you were currently in.
And then they found you, they being the demons in Na'vi flesh and shameless scientists who killed the animals the Great Mother blessed Pandora with.
When your father swam forward ready to die, Payakan had jumped over the boat just in time, crushing a lot of the demons underneath. You and Neteyam leaped onto the large ship, cutting your younger sisters loose. Tuk jumped into your arms and you told her to be quiet as they ran in front of you whilst you kept an eye out for them.
And as you run to jump from the boat you see Ronal, the Tsahik she looked fierce, and mighty while pregnant and all. But then one of the demons, one she hadn’t taken notice of, got ready to attack her as she killed one of them with her spear. Immediately picking up a loose gun you shoot the demon before he could do so, thank Eywa your father taught you better than Lo'ak. She looked at you and then the dead sky person. Bowing her head quickly you do the same as you run to your siblings, discarding the guns, you had never really liked them.
Lo'ak was the first to dive into the ocean; you and Neteyam were ensuring everyone's safety first, then Tsireya, and as Kiri and Tuk got ready they were snatched up. Tsireya jumped out of the water since she was closer but the demon pushed her back in. Neteyam got knocked back and a gun was pointed towards him. It came as an instinct, 'protect your siblings', your father would always say to you. Jumping between them, you flung Neteyam back into the water. A sudden burn and a stinging pain began between your neck and shoulder as you used the last bit of your strength to dive in the water.
Neteyam grabbed you and saw the blood and the hole in your shoulder, your body lacking its usual warmth. Mounting an ilu, Neteyam held your body close to him as he rode with the other Metkayina back to the clan, Tsireya following him. Lo'ak stayed back, he was going to avenge his sister.
-Several hours later-
Jake held Tuk to his chest as Neytiri held her own face in her hands. Lo'ak was a little bloodied but had refused treatment. Not until his sister was healed. Ronal stepped out of the hut and all of the Sully's stood up. "She is fine now, the recovery will be painful but she is fine." Ronal says and Neytiri gasps as if she was now finally able to breathe. "Thank you Great Mother, thank you." She prayed. "May.. May we see her?" Neteyam asked and Ronal nodded, moving to allow them into the tent. Without hesitation they piled themselves into the small healing tent.
It was many days and many nights till you would finally awake.
Your siblings threw their arms around you before quickly pulling away once they heard you hiss as a throbbing pain made its way to your shoulder. "Are you okay sis?" Lo'ak asks, hands hovering over your shoulder as if that was gonna keep it from hurting.
"I'm good. Just.. wanna get out of this bed." You groan as you pull yourself out of bed. Your siblings all look at each other as you grab a cane that must’ve been left behind by its previous user. You used your uninjured arm to limp with the cane as it hurt to move your opposite arm. Stepping out into the light for the first time in days, you instantly squint your sensitive eyes when the sun hits them.
As you walk into the beach, the cane making a deep dent in the sand, Jake runs up and puts his hand on your back, supporting you. "Y/N you shouldn't be up—" he was immediately cut off by your obnoxious scoff. "I am fine, father, plus there is much to be done." You say as you begin walking down the beach. A few other Na'vi waved at you, even thanked you, for what you didn't really know, well until the one you saved stopped you.
Ronal, Tsahik Ronal. "Oh ‘evi (child) you are awake. I wanted to thank you for saving me when I had my guard down.." She said, bowing her head. And then it clicked to you, just minutes before you got shot, she hadn't seen the sky person trying to attack her from behind as she was attacking a different sky demon. You saved her. You saved the Tsahik.
You stood up as quickly as you could, bowing your head in respect. "It was only right. Anyone else in my shoes would have done the same." You say and a soft smile graced her lips. "But it is you who did it." She says. "Come, let's walk." You offer, your family trailing not far behind, wanting to hear the conversation.
"I would like to know if you would like the gift both from Eywa and the clan, for your bravery from that day." She said and you were all ears, "What is the gift?" You ask, curious. "A tattoo, traditionally you get your tattoo for completing their rites of passage but considering your Iknimaya and your completion of Uniltaron, you've completed the rites of passage." Ronal said.
"I got mine when I bonded with my soul sister." Ronal said and your ears perked. "I would like that." You say and before your father interrupted you and your mother shot him a glare. He stood before just nodding in reluctant agreement.
"That is perfect, I have the perfect tattoo design for you." She says grabbing your hand helping you walk to the tattooing hut.
She helped you sit, pulling out a script that had a female body drawn up with a tattoo design on it.
The design on this one was absolutely beautiful. It begins on the right side of your neck, goes down to your right shoulder, and down to your shoulder blade, all the way down to your forearm.
The elder got the supplies ready while Ronal sat with you. The elder used a needle and what you assumed was ink, she poked your skin after every dip from the murky black ink.
It did hurt a little more than usual as the skin around your wound was still sensitive, but you worked through it as the ink was embedded in your skin. And over time when you recovered and your tattoo healed you felt like everything was perfect, but still a yearning inside you remained. Your Tarsem. You yearned to go back to him but you couldn't do that to your family.
So you sat at the edge of the marui, looking at the eclipsing sun. Ronal snuck up and sat next to you. "You are thinking of something ‘evi." She spoke up and it was rather a statement than a question. "Yes." You reply. "More of someone, I suppose, huh?" She laughs and your face drops. How did she know? She was Tsahik, but how? "You can go to him. I will tell your family that they can leave in the morning but you deserve to have a little more time between you and your mate." She gives you a knowing look and you giggle playfully, gently nudging her shoulder.
You happily packed your stuff on top of your ikran and hiked on top of the banshee. She chirps in excitement, letting out a loud screech as both of you make your way home.
.
.
.
.
It took a little bit to get there but when you did, there was a loud horn that signaled the people of your arrival.
"Someone is back!" A scout yelled out. Many surrounded the place as you dismounted from your ikran. "Granddaughter?" Your grandmother's aged voice rang through your ears; she sounded as if she was questioning herself. "Yes grandmother it is me." You smile, bowing your head. She smiles and then she sees your arm. "What happened?" She asks, pointing to your wound. "It is nothing ,grandmother, later we will talk." You say and she only sighs.
Your eyes darted around but couldn't find the man you've been yearning for these past few months. "Go, I'm sure he is waiting at your spot. He goes there everyday and every night." Mo'at chuckles as your eyes widen. "You may have your parents fooled but you cannot fool me."
She says and you smile and then it drops when the screech from your fathers ikran catches your attention. "I will tell them something now, go." She says and you bow your head once more as you run into the woods.
You run through the trees, letting the smell of the forest, earth, and home hit your face. Your hair ran wild and your arms went with the wind. It was like you never left at all. Finally, you reached the familiar spot, the spot that made you so happy you could burst at the seams. Pushing the bush aside, you step into the area. The tree seemed to have gotten more beautiful since you last saw it, but what is under the tree is what you came here for.
"Tarsem, my love."
His ears perked up but his brain refused to believe it. He stayed with his back towards you. It wasn't until your skin came in contact with his did he finally breathe, turning around, your hand still halfway in the air, he had caught it in his. He'd never been so happy to see five fingers in his life. Kissing each one you giggled at how silly he looked.
When he was done he finally let your hand down but with his still interlocked with yours. You held eye contact, no words were spoken.
His hands ran up your arms, as if it was a habit before it stopped over your tattoo and healed wound. "You have a wound." Concern filled his voice. "It has already healed, my love." You smile as his hands traced over your tattoo, every line, every curve. And after a while it was just holding each other in your arms. Only when you needed to say something did you finally speak.
"You waited." You say and he smiles and nods. "And I would do it all over again. No matter how long it would take."

Intimacy Challenge: Day (2)
30 day intimacy challenge
word count: 2k
Day 2: A good make out session can calm the stress in your life and bring you closer to your partner.
A/N: I’m really nervous about this, i typically stay away from writing anything related to smut only leading up to it, so I apologize if this sucks <3
Tumblr media
Z-dog: It had started out really innocent, you two were just in your room since she had no privacy in hers watching a movie and a few kisses here and there. You giggled as you felt her start kissing your jaw and neck before leaning up and pressing another one on your lips to which you deepened. Without breaking the kiss, she pulled you into her lap, where it was much easier for you to kiss her, as you felt her hands sliding up the shirt you were wearing.
You broke apart for a minute so she could lift it over your head and you guys went back to kissing and leaving marks all over each other. You were currently grinding into her as she left lovebites all her your chest when someone knocked on your door making you both confused until you heard that voice.
"Yo Z! Colonel needs us for some kind of meeting!" Lyle said banging on your door.
"Tell him that I'm busy or something." She shouted back as you kept kissing her.
"Z you know he's gonna be mad if you don't show." He said making her roll her eyes.
"I don't care, I'm busy right now." She said making you giggle as she kissed you again.
You both heard the code to your room being opened which made you scramble to cover yourself as your girlfriend hide you behind her back not wanting him to see you like this. Lyle walked in looked at the state of you and your girlfriend and smirked.
"Ohhhh I see now. Looking good y/n." He said as Alicia growled at him.
"Easy there Zdarksink. Just a harmless compliment." He said holding his hands up at her as she still growled at him.
"How do you even know the code to my room?" You asked him.
"Colonel gave it to me in case Zdog here was asleep or something, but clearly she wasn't." He said.
"Babe maybe you should go." You said to her.
"I will once he leaves." She said glaring at him, keeping a protective cover over you.
"Alright I'm going but y/n if you ever get bored, feel free to come see me." He said to you with a wink as you watched your girlfriend fly off the bed.
"I swear to god I will gut you like a fish Wainefleet." She said chasing after him as you laughed.
"I'm so sorry my love, we will continue this later." She said leaning down and placing a kiss on your lips.
"It's alright by the way you look so hot protecting me like that." You said as you saw her sigh.
"Later. We will continue this later." She said giving you one last kiss before leaving.
Tsu'tey: It had happened during the clan celebration of a good hunt and you showed up dressed like that. Tsu'tey eyes had found you the moment you had arrived with your friends and immediately made his way over towards you.
"Yawne." He said placing a kiss on your hand.
"Tsu." You said placing a kiss on his lips.
"You look so beautiful tonight, did you make this?" He asked making you do a little twirl.
"No bffs name made it for me, do you like it?" You asked him.
"I love it a lot, remind me to give her my thanks." He said licking his lips at you.
And that's how you two ended up in the middle of the woods hands all over each other and kisses all over each other's body. You were slowly grinding into him as he left love bites all over your neck and chest, letting out a moan when he formed his newest before leaning up and catching your mouth with a kiss.
"If you keep moving like that, we will never make it back to the celebration." He said as you smirked at him.
"Lovebirds we are getting ready to eat!" You heard one of your friends call out making you laugh as Tsu'tey groaned.
"We can finish this later my love, I promise." You said giving him one last kiss before standing up and fixing your top.
Neteyam:
Neteyam had a rare moment of peace without having to worry about his siblings or his chores, so he took the chance to spend it with you, which leads to you two having a small but heated makeout session in yall's favorite part of the woods where no one would find you.
"You gotta be quiet, flower you are gonna get us caught." He said in between the kisses being placed on your neck.
"Me? You need to stop, you know that is.. my weak spot..."You said in between moans as he sucked a new love bite onto your neck.
"I know which is why I always kiss you there." He said with a smile as he leaned up and kissed you.
He had you pressed against the tree as you two feverishly kissed one another and were exploring each other's bodies.
"So pretty ma y/n, I can never get enough of you." He said as you smiled pulling him closer to you.
"Neteyam!" You heard Kiri calling out which caused you two to look at each other wide-eyed.
"Neteyam!" Tuk called which forced you to push him off of you so you could fix your top before Tuk came over.
“we will finish this later." He said as his sisters came running over to you.
"Ew." Kiri said after looking at the state you and Neteyam were in which made you guys laugh.
Jake: You were having a rough day and Jake needed some way to help you calm down and relax so he kissed you and half expected you to push him off which you sometimes did when you were frustrated but to his surprise, you melted in his arms where he guided you to the floor, before pulling you into his lap.
"I'm sorry your day was so bad, let me fix it for you?" He asked you in between kisses.
"Please do." You said before going back to kissing him.
All that was said or heard for a while was the sound of kissing, moans, and ragged breaths as you felt relaxed from the terrible day you had. Right now Jake was placing kisses all along your neck and chest area before he pressed a few all over your face and one final on your lips.
"You gonna tell me who's responsible for giving my baby such a rough day?" He asked brushing some of your hair out your face.
"Don't want to talk about it right now, just want to be here with you." You said wrapping your arms around him.
"I can do that too. He said pressing a kiss against your forehead before wrapping his arms around you and pulling you against his chest.
Tasem: He had come back from a hunting trip that he had been on for a few days, he had missed you so much. It was the first time since you guys fully mated that you two had been apart for this long, so when he got back he immediately ran to find you. You had been working on a new top for your friend when he came rushing inside.
"Ma Tarsem!" You said rushing up from your spot and into his arms.
"Ma y/n, I've missed you so much." He said placing kisses all over your face.
"I can tell. Did you even help unpack after the hunt?" You asked him with a giggle.
"No, I only wanted to come see you and get some of my kisses from you." He said placing another kiss on your lips.
"Well, I can help with that." You said placing another kiss on your lips to which he depended.
Reaching behind you and closing the flap to your tent so no one would bother before he picked you up and carried you over to your guy's bed where he sat down and kept you in his lap as you guys kept kissing.
"Missed you so much ma Tarsem." You said as kissed his jaw and neck.
"Missed you more ma y/n." He said running his fingers through your hair as he kissed you.
The only thing that was heard throughout the tent was the sound of breathless moans and kissing, you both hated time apart but it made you it so much more when you were together.
