My DM said, "We're going to do a oneshot. There's a high chance your characters will die or be permanently disfigured, so don't get attached."
...Anyway, the way that's going so far is that I have a whole backstory where my neutral evil warlock is the prince of Avernus's FIRST warlock, and he thinks he's gonna be all powerful with his new eldritch powers, but in reality he's a part-time babysitter part-time attack dog, and together they have that "rich kid bossing his butler around" vibe.

Annoyed that we're already seeing people shit on Nezares design/call him ugly/Rhulks better
.. because he's fat :/
I've seen so many fat phobic comments and jokes and its really disheartening especially bc imo i think he's cool
People who do this will die by my hands. Also they just have no taste if they dislike a fat man.
But for real, I'd ask people to not do that. Disliking the design for whatever reason is okay, just don't tie it to him being fat. Also I would ask artists not to slim him down.
made color refs for some of the human characters from oos!! Info under the cut you know the drill
In order from left to right:
Axal Rose Macalipay. She/her, intersex, lesbian. Filipino-American. No nonsense type of gal. She works as a mechanic/metal worker. She is also objectum, and takes a liking to vehicles and heavy machinery. She's engaged to Tilda (though later in life they agree to split up).
Mackrel Davis: He/him, transmasc, gay. White American. "Self appointed sheriff" trying to "restore order to the wasteland". Really insecure about his masculinity, and generally kind of an asshole. In a relationship with Forrest so that he can get into the city of Ifot. They don't stay together long, to say the least.
Danny Nezar: She/he, transfem, pan. Sri Lankan/Italian. Guy who was woken up from cryosleep a few centuries too late. He has brain damage as a side effect of being in a coma for hundreds of years and gets migraines and has trouble forming coherent sentences. She resides in what is basically an animal sanctuary but for surviving humans. While there she takes up glass blowing as a hobby. Eventually meets Forrest at the facility and they form a relationship and later escape together. Nothing tragic happens after that Smile.

Cryptocurrency scams are becoming increasingly prevalent in Upstate South Carolina, with the Anderson County Sheriff's Office reporting a surge in cases. Scammers are employing various tactics, such as computer pop-ups and phone calls, to deceive victims into transferring money into cryptocurrency accounts.

The Alarming Increase in Cryptocurrency Scams
The Anderson County Sheriff's Office is currently investigating more than 15 cases of cryptocurrency scams, marking a significant increase compared to the entire year of 2023. Detective Nezar Hamze, who is leading the investigations, warns that these scams are highly sophisticated and can deceive even the most cautious individuals.
The Tactics Employed by Scammers
Cryptocurrency scammers utilize various tactics to trick their victims into transferring money. One common method is through computer pop-ups that claim the victim's financial information has been compromised and immediate payment is required to protect it. These pop-ups create a sense of urgency and prompt individuals to withdraw money from their bank accounts and convert it into cryptocurrency.
Detective Hamze advises individuals to power off their computers immediately if they encounter such pop-ups to avoid falling victim to the scam.
Another red flag is receiving a phone call from someone claiming to be from a government agency and demanding money. Scammers often impersonate government officials and threaten legal action or arrests if money is not transferred promptly. Additionally, individuals may receive calls informing them that they have won a sweepstakes but need to prepay taxes on their winnings.
In both cases, hanging up and contacting the local non-emergency law enforcement line is recommended.
The Speed and Irreversibility of Cryptocurrency Scams
One of the most concerning aspects of cryptocurrency scams is the speed at which scammers can make off with the money. Detective Hamze emphasizes that once the victim transfers the money into a cryptocurrency account, it is gone forever. The scammers behind these operations are often based in other countries and are highly skilled at manipulating victims into believing their claims.
They use sophisticated techniques to spoof phone numbers and make their calls appear legitimate.
Protecting Yourself from Cryptocurrency Scams
To protect oneself from falling victim to cryptocurrency scams, it is crucial to remain vigilant and follow a few key steps. Firstly, individuals should be wary of unsolicited phone calls or pop-ups that request immediate payment or personal information. It is essential to never share sensitive financial information over the phone or through pop-ups.
Secondly, if a pop-up claiming a security breach appears on your computer, power it off immediately to prevent any potential compromise of personal information.
Lastly, if you suspect that you have been targeted by a cryptocurrency scam or have already become a victim, it is important to contact your local non-emergency law enforcement line. Promptly reporting the incident can help authorities investigate and potentially prevent others from falling prey to these scams.
The rise of cryptocurrency scams in Upstate South Carolina is a concerning trend that requires heightened awareness and caution. The Anderson County Sheriff's Office is actively investigating these cases, but it is crucial for individuals to take steps to protect themselves. By remaining vigilant, being aware of the tactics employed by scammers, and promptly reporting any suspicious activity, the community can work together to combat these scams and prevent further financial losses.
Mosaic art is a surface art made by small pieces of other arts or color materials to form a picture. The original form of mosaic art started 3000 years BCE in Mesopotamia. Artists use a variety of materials to make mosaic art, including glass, ceramic tiles, and stones. Mosaic designs can be simple or very intricate, and they might include geometric designs, animals, or people. The history of glass mosaics shows how ancient people's creativity developed this art form. Nowadays, there are traditional and digital mosaic art (2D), which come with 3D Mosaics like sculptures or architectures. Some popular mosaic artists include Jason Dussault, Eileen McDonough and Nezar Stef.
There are many environmental justices that needed to be addressed. Using mosaic art as a way to address is not only creative but also highlight the hidden idea that the artist wants to express too.
An example of an environmental justice mosaic art: https://today.cofc.edu/2020/10/27/students-tackle-climate-change-with-art/
Although I would likely not able to make mosaic art, I might say this topic has tremendous ideas to convey the worldwide problems.
