The Milky Way galaxy with its colour and structure is revealed in an exposure of only 20-seconds near one of the lodges in San Pedro de Atacama, Chile. We will be going back here in the middle of May when the Milky Way orientation will look like this by 10pm and after midnight the galactic center will be directly overhead. There are also some large beautiful night sky objects that can't be seen from North America like the Eta Carina Nebula and Large and Small Magellanic clouds. We still have some spots left for our San Pedro workshop from May 18 to the 24th so send me or @yuribeletsky a message if you are interested in getting all the details and joining us. Being able to take advantage of the multitude of capture resources, is an absolute benefit to your growth, as well as your entire follower base. We as photographers work hard on finding our style, and hopefully it resonates with our audience, especially inspirationally. But photography is ever changing,. I remember shooting a Nikon D2X with an Sb800, and finally affording 4 off camera Commandor triggered flashes for that Motion blur effect. I must have shot 10,000 of those. Make no mistake because back then,. There was almost as much math involved as preparation, especially with fast moving, subjects like Skiiiers jumping, boarders jumping, etc. Things over the next 12+ years only progressed, got much more intricut, and required (often) DIY projects, ie, water droplet catpture. I was blessed by taking everything I owned apart,. So getting viscosity, and droplet intervals I found not difficult. So here we are today 2022, I still see the same amazing shots as I did after my first mountain side ski shoot, however, the advent of cellphone tech, iphone/Samsung etc, with incredible learning engines, 'HAVE' opened up those areas of specialized techniques to almost anyone. So like all photographers who look within their own strengths and perservere vs complain, we adapt and here is a great example of mixing alternative original capture, edit, and import to pro Adobe apps, to continue the workflow and really produce some great, and professional publishable final prints! Let's delve in:. Shot with a DJI Mavic mini II 4K overlooking a trainyard and the entire city,. The image was a SPHERICAL PHOTO. At 390Ft altitude pretty hard to do with a DSLR, as well DJI has all but perfected these pano type shots stitching perfectly. Where DJI absolutely excels is their ability to also turn them into motion clips. Like we would shoot a pano, then stitch the polar coordinates in PS, DJI does it Ii n a GIF- And we'll. All that for another tutorial.though! Here we see a simple yet near perfect polar joining of the edges. Fine tuned in Photoshop, touched up, and there you go! Learning techniques is one thing,. It's when seasoned veterans learn, interpret, and massage to their become their own that true growth is realized, become the new expansion of technique,.
