I just finished season one of jjk but AGERE ideas are already running rampant in my head help it's like a circus up there

See I already think of Yuji and Megumi as both flips but I'm so focusing on my boy Megumi over here

He doesn't speak much when regressed, he prefers to listen to Yuji ramble on and on with a sparkle in his eye. He's not much to reach out for affection either despite constantly craving it, I see him being soo totally clingy

Man he doesnt even reach out when hes regressed despite Yuji begging him too but I thought about writing the one time he got the courage too (it's below the cut :D)

Yuji was sat against the headrest of his bed, idly flipping through an old magazine he had laying around. You'd think with the free time he's been granted he'd be out and about, though something told him today to simply stay in, try to relax, even if that wasn't exactly his style.

A quiet knock knocked him out of his thoughts, making him quickly peek up above his magazine and shouting "Come in!" The door cracked open, stopping for a moment, making Yuji tilt his head into confusion.

"I said come in, you know" There was no malice behind his voice, just a tinge of curiousity.

The door opened fully to reveal Megumi with his normal blank look, but this time he had hazy eyes and they seemed to be darting everywhere with anxiety. This made Yuji close his magazine and sit up, eyebrows frowning in worry.

"Megumi? What's up? Are you good?" He swung his legs over the bed, ready to stand up and help with whatever he could. Was there some special grade run in? Did some top secret thing slip out? Did he make some huge mistake and is now being hunted by the higher ups? No, Megumi wouldn't act like that in those situations. His brain kept running and running until he heard the smallest voice speak up.

"Small." Was all he said before quickly grabbing the collar of his coat and lifting it up in an attempt to hide the furious blush plastering his face. It immediately snapped Yuji out of his thoughts and he took a moment to stare, making Megumi look away and pull his collar tighter.

"Heh? Small? What does- Oh!" His confusion was quickly replaced with a wave of joy. Megumi reached out to him while regressed! For the first time! His eyes sparkled with glee as he swiftly made room on his bed and waved Megumi over.

"Come on, come on! I've got lots to tell you about!" His voice suddenly became softer but lost no bit of Yuji's normal energy.

Megumi lowered his hand shakily before closing the door behind him, the blush was still blooming on his face but less so. His eyes no longer darted around, instead they seemed to have a glean of relief in them, maybe a bit of shock too. He sat down on the edge of the bed, looking at Yuji before looking down and picking at his fingers mindlessly, he wasn't quite too sure what he could do next.

Though this wasn't unfamiliar territory to Yuji, quickly guiding the other to rest his head on his lap as he spoke about his week, one hand waving about as he rambled and the other running gently through Megumi's hair.

He could feel the anxiety seep away from Megumi, relaxing further into his lap and looking up at him with glossy eyes of joy and pure curiosity. Yuji couldn't help but stop and look down with a wide, toothy smile.

"Maann, your so cute when you look like that!" He cooed, giggling as the blush from earlier shot straight back to Megumi's cheeks. Megumi had immediately turned away from his view and whined, though it sounded like he tried to be tough and scoff instead.

"Okay okay I'm sorry! I just had to!" He grinned. "Alright so you know how I was talking about that one store in Tokoyo? So I found this HUGE sale going on-" Yuji had continued on as if nothing had happened, happily going on and bursting with energy when going over his favorite parts.

Megumi at that point had turned back up to face him, completely engrossed in his hands movement and his boisterous facial expressions, feeling nothing but a soft veil of comfort draped over them as they continued on.
