Today was a very late workout but honestly, I needed it. I've been going over a lot in my head lately especially due to isolating from covid, family, and friends. I was reminded by some past events long forgotten how I have overcome many obstacles set in my way. What is going on now is just another obstacle, better yet another journey that I can mark 🚩 as an achievement that I fiercely overcame as well. My mind is that of a LION 🦁 and sometimes one forgets all the battles they have won but when reminded tells them they are still STRONG and this too shall pass. I've had the last 5 years or so been in a cocoon of sorts with much in my life personally and otherwise. It's funny how many may see you start to fall and enter the cocoon, while others see the aftermath of how you came out from the transformation of the trials of fire to what you have evolved from. There is a small percentage that understands the importance and the actual metamorphosis some of us go through to become as strong as you are and the side roads, quests, detours make it that much harder to preserve though to the end... I'm not big at all but I am tickled that I am able to Pec-Bounce now, NO KIDDING!!!! I was minding my own business when... I was daydreaming which honestly I do much more than what people realize. I also realized that one of my goals that I set for myself was to give myself a positive note or self-affirmation every single day for a month. This is due to many reasons but my top ones are: I suffer from depression, I have anxiety and I am relearning break my agoraphobia. Most of this is connected to my cerebral palsy and how I connect with people and the world around me as a whole. Coping is harder then one can realize.
