Control Z Season 3, Episode 1 - 4 Story
My thoughts so far:
The story telling had me confused.
I watch a scene. Pause to comprehend the scene. Make an opinion then keep going.
So flashbacks are not my friend.
Their flashbacks be so long.
And not obvious.
Episode one had my brain in knots trying to get a timeline.
[I managed tho. Because I'm the best.]
It took so long for Sophia to do the observation thing. It's like the writers forgot she could do that and she's good at it.
All honesty, I started the show to see a female detective. Then I stayed for Javier.
Who is being done dirty left and right since Season 1!
-You have to compete with her kidnapper
-You have to be shot
-You have to be cheated on with your dad
-You have to get bullied
I hate his dad so much.
Every time we do a Javier observation this far in, there's always more than we (Sofia [I never think it's Javi because I'm bias]) think. We pin it all on him and then Javier comes back later and all is forgiven. I remember Season 1.
Anyways, I talked about what I care about.

i love abby to the moon and back and she is a rock but when she said "my foxes chose to fight back" a part of me broke same as jean because he DID !!! he tried !! he fought as long as he could at 14 until he became so conditioned and resigned to his fate. he has all the capability and instinct for it as well with the way he shoves jeremy away, he pushes coach lisinski into her car ! and he boots lucas in the chest like that boy is not to be messed with physically but the mental toll his abusers took on him was far too much at such a young impressionable age and it's fucking heartbreaking because he truly believes he deserves it and he knows that's wrong and he shouldn't but it's his only way of surviving it with the "i know my place. i will endure" mantra. and you can see the pain and anger in him when people think he just lay down and accepted it from the jump but he can't do anything about it because it's a warzone inside his head and nobody will ever truly understand
