𝐓𝐚𝐠𝐬: @nonstobene, I hope you like it honey (◠‿◕), it took five months and then I forgot to post it, I was reviewing all the drafts and looking for inspiration for the story about Mitsuya and I remembered that this fic existed.

• The moment he realized he was in love with you, he immediately locked himself in his little "octo-pot", blushing madly.

• They were just harmless dreams, where he imagined taking you by the hand and offering you the best delicacies of the Monster Lounge while looking in love with your beautiful features. He dreamed of taking your face in his hands, stroking your soft cheeks with his thumbs, imagining slowly leaning out and finally savoring the euphoric sensation of your lips against his, and then moving on to kiss every inch of skin he could put on. His hands were shaking.

• At that moment he just wanted to die.

• Curled up in his little place he mulled over how, where and when this infatuation of his had begun.

• Maybe they were your ways, awkward but at the same time strong and authoritative. Maybe your personality, kind but serious at the critical moment. Maybe it was your stunning looks, making him feel smothered with his own saliva the moment you walked into his dorm with your chaotic friends to say the least.

Or maybe it was all of these things put together.

• It was just you. And that was enough to capture his lonely heart, to sink him into a puddle of love and infatuation in his room.

• But he would NEVER have had the courage to confront you. He absolutely does not want to run the risk of being brutally rejected by the person he loves most.

• He would not be deluded: He knows you could never be attracted to a stupid and fat octopus, and for this he prefers to suffer in silence while Ace hugs you in a not so platonic way in flying lessons, or when Deuce would have meddled in a brawl because two quarrelsome students from Savanaclaw decided to annoy you. Or during history lessons, where Jack would diligently wait for you outside the classroom wagging his tail slightly. Or how Epel would show off as often as possible [much to Vil's chagrin], carrying heavy bags for you or moving furniture. Or when Sebek would have screamed about how "such a weak human being could not be alone, because surely you could not have defended yourself without the help of a strong fae".

• He sees in his reflection what he was as a child: an unsociable, fat and stupid octopus, a disgrace to his family and the cause of his parents' separation.

• His mother could not have done anything about the disgusting insults hurled at her only child. He couldn't lose his clientele, and so he urged Azul to be more tenacious than them by telling him that he was stronger, more menacing, but above all smarter than those crab brains.

• Obviously who, if not the two eels closest to the head of the dormitory, could not have noticed this behavior abysmally different from usual.

• Floyd would continue to playfully tease him, miming kisses and making a flushed Azul scream. He would obviously try to hint that Azul might have a crush on you, but he would be immediately stopped by his twin who, at his friend's command and for personal amusement, would urge him to "say hello" to Riddle.

• The fact that Floyd and Jade were much closer to you than him would have caused him to have mixed reactions.

• In the first situation, he would have become so jealous that he would have given the twins a lot of tasks so that they would not spend much time with you anymore, and would have invited you much more often to approach him with the excuse of being so kind and charitable to help you with the subjects. with which you have more difficulty. • At the end of a strong back and forth between Azul and Floyd [and under very slight threats from Jade], the latter would have invited his dear "shrimpy" [mostly by dragging you] into the VIP room of the luxurious Mostro Lounge, making you finally compare with the shy head of the dorm.

• To say that Azul was anxiety itself is just saying nothing, dear.

• The meeting was in the evening, as Jade predicted, and Azul had begun to prepare perfectly since he woke up early in the morning. Continuing incessantly to repeat what he should have said at the moment of his confession, he kept combing his hair maniacally and checking himself every minute in the mirror to see if there could be any kind of imperfection.

• It should have been flawless to introduce itself to you.

• The twins should have intervened with a potion of sleepiness to sedate Azul. It was bothering Floyd [and no one would like to have an altered Floyd near] and a headache for Jade at how fast he moved around the room.

• Azul would be mad.

• All that time spent preparing the best version of himself had been ruined by him, causing him to transform into his original form and escape into the darkest corner of his room trying to hide from the two eels.

• The twins would care enough about Azul's sanity, so they would help him in any way: recommending your favorite style, flowers and all the little preferences the two discovered when they would be watching over you.

• The long-awaited moment had come very quickly, leading Azul to be threatened just as quickly by Floyd, saying it would ruin his opportunity to finally confess to the person with the most cherished octopus. Obviously the threat would have been unmounted by his twin, but it would still leave a doubt in Azul's very confused mind.

• When he saw you enter accompanied by the twins, he was amazed by your beauty. He swore that if you also wore ugly clothing, you would still be able to maintain that ethereal beauty of yours.

• After some time, the crucial moment would come.

• He will confess his feelings by stammering and blushing wildly, waiting for a word, even a movement of your body that would indicate that you are absolutely not disgusted by him.

• And when do you return his feelings?

• This octopus will melt in a blue and silver puddle.
