I decided everyone's getting a cool new outfit and profile before the finale, so here we go, starting with Syntagma!

Name: Syntagma (Greek for "constitution")

Background: Representing the Earth Kingdom, we have Syntagma. He is a true patriot who has spent his life in loyal service to the Earth King as one of his royal advisors. However, don't mistake him as being selfless or a good person. Syntagma is also the head of a mining empire and cares little for his workers, who include children and whom he has exploited in the past. Money is his bottom line. He thinks kids these days are too sensitive, believes everyone should serve their elders, values hard work, and is unempathetic to anyone but himself. He has an extensive family and connections all around the Earth Kingdom, but doesn't seem to value family much at all. Out of all his sons and daughters, Zhongchung is his favorite, only because he is the most successful.

Motivations: He attended the Summer Conclave as the Earth King's representative. The only reason he stuck around after Juno's attack was for the cash reward for apprehending her. Throughout their travels, however, he has slowly begun to learn the value of personal relationships and is beginning to fear he will have no legacy after he dies other than as a cruel mining tycoon. He is starting to develop empathy for others, but is still tempted by riches.

3. What is the largest pack you've ever made? Oh, Gosh! I'm preeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeetty sure it's my most recent Seojun pack with 780 gifs. I had a ton of fun making it, despite some yellow af scenes.

Once upon a time, Aurora's life was relatively normal. Then the Ishvallan Civil War happened, and everything went to hell. The war took a toll on so many people's lives, let alone on Ishvallans. But, when you're a kid && you don't fully grasp that the world doesn't revolve around yours, it can be hard to distinguish the hardships you face and the root cause being not a group of people, but a concept you were unaware of.

For a long long time, Aurora was scared of Ishval and Ishvallans. "Their" war caused her family to break apart, be killed, and suffer lifelong turmoil. Putting a face to the pain made it easier for a child to understand, and unfortunately, the Amestrian Government didn't do anything to stop this for ANYONE. In fact, they continued their hostility towards Ishvallans by scattering them.

However, she is much more grown now, and it suffices to say with her gained knowledge (and meeting Qistina Leota @deathleads), she actively tries to change her internalized fear, as it was unjust in the first place. Ishval was a human extermination experiment set by the Amestrian Government. Her colleagues' hands are stained and reek with the stench of blood. There were no heroes from that war.

Ishval is one of her main reasons for seeking the demilitarization of State Alchemists, and when the time comes, she will support the reconstruction efforts of Ishval. For now, she treats her Ishvallan counterparts with respect.

Thoughts about concerts

Just thinking about how I would feel if I were to have the opportunity to see concerts for my favourite groups.

With regards to EXO, I just feel like I have too much baggage to enjoy them fully. Don't get me wrong, I think their concert would be absolutely amazing. But at the back of my mind, I'll probably always be thinking about the ex-members :( Would still go though for the opportunity to watch them live though.

Same goes for LayHanTao, by the way. If had the opportunity to watch them, I probably would. There's a bit less baggage with these guys for reasons that I don't really have the time to get into lol.

GOT7, I would watch their concert, no question. They seem like such amazing performers, and I would love to see them get up to their shenaniganery live.

NCT is where things get complicated.

With regards to Dream, I would love to watch their concert because I do think they would put on a great show, but I would only feel comfortable watching them in Asia. Because I feel like the teenagers would be on my ass about watching a group of guys who are considerably younger than me. In Asia, there's more of an acknowledgement of jiejie/auntie fans.

With WayV, it's more of a preference, but I'd rather watch them in a Chinese-speaking country because...that's what drew me to them in the first place. I know WayV is being pivoted into being an English-speaking group, but we know that for most of the guys, various dialects of Chinese are more comfortable. I also have some baggage about WayV being transitioned from a Chinese group to a global group though. I get kind of salty about it because it just feels like another slight in the direction of s*nophobia.

I'll be honest, I don't pay attention to NCT 127 music. But I do enjoy the guys for the variety stuff. I probably wouldn't be as enthusiastic about trying to see them as EXO, GOT7, or Dream, and because of that, I probably wouldn't even get tickets lol. But if I were to have the opportunity to see them, I think I'd still take it. I'd have to study up for it and listen to their music leading up to the concert though haha.

All of this is hypothetical, resting on the fact that I can actually get tickets, which I highly doubt I can. I don't really have the time to refresh for tickets and I'm willing to bet the market is so competitive to get tickets for these shows, especially if they're outside of Korea.

In addition to that, I have general anxiety about meeting celebrities. Not that a concert is equivalent to meeting a celebrity in real life, face-to-face, but a concert is a somewhat of an interactive experience.

But my biggest problem point when it comes to concerts is other fans. I don't have problems with other fans. I have problems sharing my fandom with other fans, if that makes sense. I'm very not normal about these groups, seeing as how I have a whole blog for them. I have my own specific parasocial relationship with these groups. And I wouldn't really feel comfortable letting others see how I react to these groups. I know there's no right way to be a fan, and I'm not wrong for being the kind of fan I am, I'm just shy to share how I am a fan. And that also ties in with how I'm not comfortable watching a Dream concert in the west because I feel like I'll be judged for being an older woman.
