Short story time, folks! The new job is a no-go. I won't get into the details but it's the first time in my life that I have adamantly disliked a job on the first day

However, there may be a bright side to this dark cloud. One of our guys from my current place has said (just this morning) that he'll be leaving in a month. It's incredibly sad because he's such a gem but it may mean getting the hours I need

There's two sides to every coin, I guess is what I'm saying 🤷‍♀️

What is Narcissism?

Narcissism is categorized into different levels. It can be a serious personality disorder trait diagnosed by a mental health professional, or it can be simply a behavior that is shown to you due to certain circumstances. If you have been with someone, wether in a relationship, as friends or in your family that has the following traits- they have probably revealed some sort of narcissistic behavior to you.

Sensitive to Criticism

Lying and Gaslighting

Selfishness

Passive Aggression

One sided effort in the relationship/friendship

No respect of boundaries

Long held grudges

No Empathy/ False Empathy

These are a few behavioral traits that portray narcissism.

Temporary Temper or Red Flag?

Anyone can show these traits in certain circumstances - we are humans. We make mistakes, and we can show behaviors such as selfishness. The point here is, how often are they doing these certain actions? Are they okay with hurting other people (including you) if it means they will benefit from it? Asking these questions will help you determine if this can be a temporary temper issue that can be changed or if it’s definitely a red flag that you should not ignore. Here are some common questions to ask yourself to look for red flags:

Do you find yourself repeating your emotions, needs, boundaries to this person?

Do you find yourself being the only one that apologizes for everything and fixing the relationship/friendship?

Do you find yourself reanalyzing the situation because that person says you are exaggerating?

Do you find yourself doing things under that persons conditions?

Do you find yourself. being constantly ignored?

Do you find yourself being blamed by that person when things goes wrong?

Do you find yourself noticing that this person refuses to be accountable for their bad behavior?

If you said yes or relate to any of these questions, then these are red flags and this person is showing narcissistic behaviors.

Don’t ignore these red flags - talk to someone and ask for advice elsewhere on how to better your relationship with this person or remove yourself from their life.

Only a very small few of mortals knew he was Hades, very small few, so when one of his bartenders came up to him telling him a woman was looking for him and had mentioned him by name, he arched a brow in confusion. Looking to where they were pointing he seen a woman sitting at the bar apparently waiting for him. “Don’t panic I don’t need an uproar in my club, I’ll take care of this” Hades said. 

Buttoning his suit jacket he made his way for the bar and when he got close he spoke. “Heard you were looking for me, but I’m not concerned about that at the moment, what does concern me is how you know who I am when there are only three...” Hades said as he walked up but paused. He sensed something was off, and this woman was no mortal not with the energy she had. Narrowing his eyes, “Who are you, you’re no mortal”

            Every unanticipated shuffle of footsteps across the floorboards sends adrenaline pulsing through her veins so strongly that it inspires her heart to thunder to life. Frayed nerves and bristled muscles relinquish any pretense of fortitude she intended to portray. No place was safe. There’s not a corner of Strong Manor where he would not find her, not even in the sanctity of her own room. 

The brunette didn’t have to look up from her needlepoint to know whose enveloping shadow was looming over her. He was always there, consuming her waking moments, the way ravenous wildfires do trees. “Captain,” she greets in a tone that does not adequately display how jarred she is. “I---” Words come more difficultly as she tries to stay the quavering of her own hands. “I trust you had a successful mission.” Anna swallows down any sense of gloating for she knew, of course, he had not. It was her intelligence that had intentionally tanked the man’s success. It is then that she hazards a glance upwards at the looming figure.

cant tell you how bad it feels to constantly tell other artists to come to tumblr, because its the last good website that isn't fucked up by spoonfeeding algorithms and AI bullshit and isn't based around meaningless likes

#please dont delete your accounts because of the AI crap. your art deserves more than being lost like that #if you have a good PC please glaze or nightshade it. if you dont or it doesnt work with your style (like mine) please start watermarking #use a plain-ish font. make it your username. if people can't google what your watermark says and find ur account its not a good watermark #it needs to be central in the image - NOT on the canvas edges - and put it in multiple places if you are compelled #please dont stop posting your art because of this shit. we just have to hope regulations will come slamming down on these shitheads#in the next year or two and you want to have accounts to come back to. the world Needs real art #if we all leave that just makes more room for these scam artists to fill in with their soulless recycled garbage #improvise adapt overcome. it sucks but it is what it is for the moment. safeguard yourself as best you can without making #years of art from thousands of artists lost media. the digital world and art is too temporary to hastily click a Delete button out of spite
