i do think robin & eddie both being like. supportive of stancy while theyre both gay crushing on either member of stancy and completely oblivious of the requited part of the requited love tag would be more interesting than stancy. not only would it break basic tv conventions of "the hot boy and the hot girl end up together" and ofc the "two boys are both in love with one girl who will she choose" it would put gay people front and center in a mainstream tv show and thatd be pretty neat

The difference between manga and comics is that usually manga has only one author where the comics have different creators and different designs while that is all good it makes it extremely difficult to get an idea on how to draw one character for instances giving a shot to draw Zatanna and damn to use so many types from old to modern as references it can be a bit much 😵‍💫

Hughie doesn't strike me as having a sadistic bone in his body so I think causing genuine pain to his partner would be a massive turn-off for him. It feels like something he would agree to in principle but would find the actual experience quite unpleasant.

I'm gonna be serious here for a second, because kidnapping fics can go many different ways, and I want everyone who reads this upcoming fic to know what they're getting into!

THE REST OF THIS POST IS SPOILERS. IF YOU WANT TO GO INTO THE FIC SPOILER-FREE, AND ARE CONFIDENT YOU WON'T BE TRIGGERED, STOP READING!

Even though I've named the WIP "the kidnapping fic," the entire kidnapping... situation (?) only takes place for the first third of the fic!! He's in and out in the span of one night. There is one brief, but a little graphic fight scene, which involves nothing bloody, but still a significant injury.

The rest of the fic takes place immediately after the kidnapping, and is where most of the actual hurt/comfort happens! There's some arguing, but it's out of love <3
